If I could give it less than 1 star I would. It’s a piece of crap, not worth the money! The pieces were dovetail cut joints which were made so poorly, different size pieces which didn’t fit together … just junk! When I contacted the company, they didn’t care that that the pieces were so poorly made, they agreed to just send another unit.
My question is this… why produce a worthless product that you send out and when called on it, just tell the consumers that “…it doesn’t matter since we’ll replace it …. ” Yeah, great business model. Horrible products, worthless company!.
Really easy to assemble and quite attractive. I don’t intend to ever take these apart, so I glued all the joints during assembly. That took all of the movement out of the finished planterand they are quite sturdy.

Didn’t give this product a 5, because one of the legs were machined incorrectly – 4-star. However, their service/support team that I talked to, provided me a replacement after a quick chat with them, which I would give a 5-star.
The instruction pamphlet was given a 5-star. I was able to identify all the parts and follow the pictures in each step. I also decided to oil all the pieces before assembling the entire bed. Once assembled, all the pieces fit well, but be careful with the existing drilled holes.
I re-drilled the holes with a drill-bit that was aligned to the corresponding screw, because of other reviews of the wood splitting. Overall, I would give the Mobile Raised Garden Bed product 4. 5-star (just need to get a little better quality control on the machining of the parts.

We’re pleased with the quality of the components, packaging, and assembly instructions. The delivery person didn’t love the weight of the 3 boxes (and they *are* heavy), but things arrived intact and undamaged thanks to efficient packaging.
Individual panels were well made and everything went together in about 4 hours. Please note, though, that I have a lot of experience with this sort of project. Note also that it would have been difficult for me to replicate this raised bed on my own/with my own materials for this price (including my labor costs) and thus was worth the expense.
An extra pair of hands might be useful for some folks, but I found that Quick-Grip style clamps held things together just fine for assembly on my own. The directions do not include information about the importance of squaring everything up before installing final braces, so be aware of this detail before trying to install the gate at the end.
Took one star off because a 2×2 piece came broken. and the hinges are plastic. otherwise it’s a 5 star garden. I’m glad they had an 8×8 size. Would have loved the 8×12 if our yard could have fit a garden that size.
Easy enough to put together. We had two drills set up. one with the drill bit to predrill holes as needed. and one drill set to screw the screws in. One 2×2 top piece came broken and they are sending a replacement piece.
For being so well built, I was surprised that the hinges on the flip up trellis are black plastic. They won’t last even a summer of use here in Arizona. I’m replacing the plastic hinges with metal ones.
I love that I don’t have to bend to the ground to tend the garden. I can also control my soil conditions. and the extra depth helps roots grow deeper into the garden. We added the Titan Squash Tunnel and look forward to when the squash leaves have covered the tunnel creating a more shady spot for vegs to keep growing during our very hot sunny weather this summer.

Very rickety and poorly made. I had to put screws in to hold it together as it twists if you try to move it. The bottom slates are also so far apart that I had to buy extra fabric to stop the soil from falling through.
Lastly the boards are very rough, not sanded at all, so it’s tough to assemble. When trying to put it together some of the boards started to split. I would have returned it but it Took over 5 months to arrive.
It’s pretty but way over priced and Not worth the money at all.
Impressed with quality. I love my planter box! It”s so nice to have everything elevated. It”s a little better than I expected, but just means I can grow much more. It”s also very sturdy and attractive.
The box is pretty heavy and definitely required two people to carry. I have this on my roof deck and hoping to grow some veggies. They include a black cloth to cover the bottom of the planter so the soil doesn”t fall through the spaces between the wood slats.

Best thing since sliced bread! My old and rotten 4′ x 8′ garden bed was in poor shape, so after much research, I settled on this for not only the reviews regarding the quality but also the price. Other 4′ x 8′ garden beds were around $300 but this one came much cheaper, as I purchased 2 of them and it was not only incredibly easy to assemble (it took me longer to dismantle my old garden bed than put this new garden bed together) but it looks great! Also added stain, and I couldn’t be happier.

So far so good. I can only review up to the point of getting it set up and ready to plant, not the longevity or effectiveness. But it arrived a day earlier than expected, all pieces accounted for and in good condition, no warping or broken.

We bought four 4 foot by 4 foot raised garden bed planters, and immediately checked for cracked and broken pieces. From the four sets we were able to collect intact pieces for three sets. We exchanged the box of cracked/broken pieces for another box which, surprisingly, had all pieces intact.
Staff at Canadian Tire were very accommodating and pleasant. The description of the boards says the “composite wood is made with 60% recycled plastic,” which is what we wanted and what the product seems to be.
The frame went together fairly easily, though some of the screws did not hold well. We are hoping that, now that the frames are staked and filled with soil, the loose screws will not pose a problem. These frames do not seem to be quite as well made as the Frame It All frames we bought several years ago.
The old frames have held together well and have not cracked in the weather. We hope these ones last as well.
I bought two of these last season and my college age kids put them together in about an hour in an “L”. We had the best results we’ve ever had! A glut of both cucumbers and tomatoes and more peppers than we’ve ever gotten (which totalled to a half dozen).
We also planted strongly scented flowers (notably marigolds) around the outside to discourage rabbits and such. This year I am deciding whether to double the height of the whole thing or just the area with shorter plants.
The ease of set up, stackability, the look, the flexibility, accessories available directly from the company (for example a mesh perimeter to keep out large animals, what is needed to make a greenhouse, single extra boards to change the shape or get a custom size), versatility and quality (looks brand new even after a Chicago winter!) make this the ideal starter garden for a complete novice.
What is even more exciting is the ability to grow it and change shapes and depth from year to year. The hinges that hold the boards together have about a 270 degree swing so stars, hourglass shapes, even letters or kaleidoscope designs are possible.
Obviously we love ours and look forward to adding to it annually. Do not wait too long as the manufacturer tends to have limited supplies later in the season, plus you want to start planting as soon as you get past the “final” frost.
I know this may sound a bit over the top, but I love homegrown tomatoes and heirlooms more than almost any vegetable (don’t care for store bought) and my daughter can go through a half dozen cucumbers in a day.
Having a productive garden saves us loads of time and money over the summer/early fall. Bonus is we don’t use pesticides. Have fun and enjoy your homegrown vegetables and beautiful flowers.
I bought a number of these units over the past two years. The first ones I got were easy to put together and all pieces were intact. The ones I bought last year are different. Several of the long boards were cracked or broken and some of the connectors cracked within days of being installed.
I am having to figure out how to make them work with other methods. I am very disappointed with the change in quality from one year to another. If I could have returned the faulty units, I would have but it was not possible.
I wasted a ton of money on something I through would work and it has not.
It’s perfect for wheelchair users or anyone who wants to avoid bending and kneeling for long periods. This raised bed can be set up in your yard or garden, or on your deck, patio, or balcony. Videos are available to help with assembly.

Grows up to 30 servings of salad at a time. Holds seven 60L bags of compost.
I bought one a few weeks ago, put it together and love it. So I decided to buy another one as well as the herb planter. Put the herb planter together and was very happy. The disappointment came when after putting the second vegtrug together we were moving it into position on the Deck and one of the legs snapped in half.
I was really disappointed and upset. I really thought I had come across the perfect planter. I guess I should be happy nothing has happened with the other two planters. What’s the saying. two out of three ain’t bad? It’s OK to buy but, be careful the legs aren’t as tough as you might think.
There is a weak point in the legs at the junction between the cross bar and the upright- wood is half as thick due to the cut and is joined by a bolt. We get high winds here and the two of these we have have cracked through at the same point.
Unfortunately it’s not like having a three legged dog, this just falls over immediately. Complete waste of money. Buy the medium Vegtrug if you can fit them in, no comparison in the much higher quality of the product.
Looks great, took a little while to put together but the instructions are pretty clear and easy. Recommend using a power drill/screwdriver. At the end of putting it together i had quite a sturdy unit.
The background info suggested you need 170 litres of potting mix. More like 100 litres when i filled it up. Plants and herbs growing reall well. It isnt to heavy, you can drag it to a new location if you need to.
I purchased two and thinking about getting another. Loven it.

I love my new deer proof raised garden bed. We got the 8×12 and there’s plenty of room for our family of 4 to plant 8 tomato plants, peas, strawberries, lettuce, 3 peppers, carrots, radishes, and herbs.
With room left over. We had our lawnmowers build it for us and they completed it in one day which included clearing the grass, putting down chicken wire, landscaping cloth and gravel first. We filled the beds with a layer of gravel before filling with soil/compost/peat moss mix.
We also replaced the plastic hinges as other reviewers mentioned. My one complaint is the irrigation kit. That should be clearly labeled to indicate to drill holes before filling the bed. The irrigation kit is plastic and a piece broke while installing.
Hoping it will work with our fix of glue/silicone. But disappointed with the irrigation kit for the extra cost.

I’m not a lover of flat pack but this actually went together quite easily. It took about 40 mins on my own but I took my time. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Good quality item and quite sturdy.
The only thing I’m not sure about is whether I need to treat the wood before using it. Overall I’m really pleased with the product.
this a great planter very large and easy to assemble good quality timber the instructions were okay as with all of these type of products take your time to take a good look at the instructions and you will find it easy enough it probably took me about 2hrs to put together but this includes the time it takes unpack lay the parts out and find a couple of tools and get rid of the rubbish so not too bad in the end.
A durable and naturally rot-resistant wood these raised beds are sturdy and easy to assemble. Raised bed corners are half-lapped with rods going down through the assembly which keeps the corners from working loose over time.
It’s easy to stack the boards to make raised beds in many different heights. Dimension: 36 x 36 x 11 in.
Everything starts with the soil. It doesn’t matter how fancy your container is, you need to fill it with good soil. Tp soil is not good soil. I am lucky enough to live in an area where they grow mushrooms.
Mushroom soil is magic. Th cedar bed is wonderful. Never use treated wood. It will leech poison into the soil. The cedar will last about 12 to 15 years. having your garden elevated from the ground will help keep weeds out and give you good drainage.

Was disappointed with this product. Usually Robert Dyas sells good garden products but the quality of the wood was not good. Product came and was surprised how much assembly it needed and unfortunately when it said slide in slats the grooves were so badly made that it certainly was not a slide in with ease.
Eventually got it together and I like the size. Painted it which I think will protect the wood for a while but don’t think this product will stand the test of time.
Easy to assemble, soft wood so needs a couple of coats of wood treatment/stain to protect. Care needed when fitting end/side pieces into the recessed legs, tight fit and would be easy to damage. I used a wooden mallet with a piece of hardwood on top of the slats to gently tap home.
Needs about 250-300 litres of compost to fill depending on use.
