The Ping G410 irons were built upon the huge success of the highly popular G400 iron range. With 2 main things at the forefront of thinking for Ping, speed and forgiveness, the perfect combination. The G410 is a game improvement iron set and you can rest assured Ping has improved forgiveness on off-centre strikes.
The cavity back design and mid-size head shaping are ideal for mid to high handicap golfers.
PING i500 Forged Iron Set After hitting this sleek, blade-style iron you’ll be amazed at its incredible speed, distance, and towering trajectory, with stopping power that gives you a real competitive advantage.
The forged C300 maraging-steel face, metal-wood-like construction and hinged cavity create the conditions for unprecedented speed, power and distance. Powerful Forces A forged, C300 maraging-steel face combines with a 17-4 stainless steel body for metal-wood-like performance, resulting in faster ball speeds and much longer, higher-trajectory shots with stopping power.
Muscle-Back Look The muscle-back geometry helps to hinge the precision-milled, forged, C300 maraging steel face, which flexes, adding dynamic loft while increasing ball speed, trajectory and distance.
Compact Design The clean, blade-style shape with minimal offset produces so much speed and distance that you’ll be able to hit one less club into greens. Precision Grooves, Face The face and grooves are precision-milled to provide a flat surface for ensuring consistent ball speeds and reliable ballstriking.
HydroPearl Chrome 2. 0 Finish This premium finish helps ensure impact consistency and distance control from the rough and wet conditions while adding to the high-end appeal of the club.
G425 Irons In a departure from recent iron models, PING’s experts re-engineered the face of the G425 iron by employing a metal-wood-style, variable face thickness (VFT) design. This greatly increases flexing for measurable ball speed gains that launch shots higher and farther with the stopping power to hold greens – a rare result with most of today’s distance-minded irons.
Streamlined Look In the process of creating the new face design, they developed a more compact head that sets a new standard for forgiveness for an iron its size. While shorter heel-to-toe than the G410 model, it boasts a 3% higher MOI due to mass savings from the new face geometry that have been re-allocated to the toe and hosel weights, which expands the perimeter weighting and greatly tightens dispersion.
Multi-Material Cavity Badge Extensive finite element analysis was used to help develop a multi-material cavity badge that covers more of the face to damp undesirable frequencies and ensure a superb feel and pleasing sound.
Hydropearl Finish Arccos Caddie Smart Grip Program The Arccos Caddie Smart Grip (Golf Pride Lite 360 Tour Velvet) in one of four sizes (Red -1/32”, Aqua -1/64”, White/Std, and Gold +1/32”) is the standard grip on all G425 clubs.
Golfers who purchase a set of six or more G425 irons in one transaction are entitled to eight free Arccos Screw-In sensors and a 90-day free trial of the Arccos Caddie App.
PING uses a metalwood style Variable Face Thickness design in the G425 irons for increased flex at impact which boosts ball speed, launches shots higher, and provides greater stopping power to hold more greens.
– Added Heel-Toe Weighting – The redesigned club face allows PING to make a more compact club head that saves weight. – The cavity badge consists of aluminum, ABS material, and damping tape to cover more of the face so lessen unwanted frequences for excellent feel and sound on every shot.
– Hydropearl Chrome Finish – PING’s signature hydropearl chrome finish repels water for clean contact on every swing. – Club Loft Length Lie Bounce Offset Swing Weight 4 Iron 20. 5 38 7/8″ 60. 5 5 0.
Ping’s experts have re-engineered the face of the new G425 iron by employing a metal-wood-style, variable face thickness (VFT) design. This greatly increases flexing for measurable ball speed gains that launch shots higher and farther with the stopping power to hold greens, a rarity with most of today’s distance-minded irons.
Stopping power is just as important to Ping as producing long distances.
Ensuring the distance demands of today’s golfer while advancing PING’s reputation for making the most-forgiving irons available, the PING G410 iron is a compact design engineered for golfers who prefer a blade-style look with the performance of a game-improvement model.
Re-shaping Distance and Forgiveness PING’s engineering team created a face and cavity structure in the G410 iron that delivers faster ball speeds and saves weight to expand the perimeter weighting. The additional weight savings are concentrated in the toe and hosel to achieve an 8% increase in the moment of inertia (MOI) for more forgiveness and consistency.
The more flexible, free-moving face amplifies ball speeds for greater distance and higher max height, allowing golfers to hit less club into the green with the control and precision to hold the putting surface.
This is achieved by de-coupling the weighting structure from the face to create a larger flexing zone, which performs like a hinge to launch the ball faster and higher with consistency and predictability.
The next generation of COR-Eye technology powers the performance in conjunction with the patented cascading sole design and deep rail undercut. High Marks for Look, Feel and Sound The clean, refined shape of the G410 iron results from a slightly shorter blade length and 10% less offset compared to the G400 iron, creating an inspiring blade-iron-style look with broad appeal.
Its resilient hydropearl 2. 0 finish provides an attractive appearance and contributes to smooth turf interaction. The full-cavity, co-molded aluminum and elastomer badge delivers a powerful, reassuring feel and sound.

I don’t typically write reviews. But since I’ve been peppered with emails, ask and you shall receive. The club is fantastic. Love it so much, I’ve ordered the 4 & 5 hybrids as well. I’m a 12 handicap, and mid/long iron play is certainly the weakest part of my game.
I believe these hybrids will be significant in getting me into single digits for my handicap. Now that you have my plug, here’s my issue. I’m left handed. It is INCREDIBLY frustrating to have to order my clubs custom, just to get the STOCK Shaft, and STOCK Loft/s that are available in the same clubs that are right handed.
I get it from a Manufacturing and Inventory standpoint. However, it is no less frustrating. I would have preferred to order the G410 hybrids in 4 & 5 to match my existing 3. But, I could not order them with the STOCK PING SHAFT, even though they are available in right hand.
So, I had to spend an extra $50 per club to order the 4 & 5 in the G425 newer model just to be able to get the STOCK Shaft that I need. And on top of that, I had to order them Custom just to get that particular shaft, so I am still waiting for those clubs to ship, despite ordering them over 2 weeks ago.
If I were right handed, I could have ordered the G410 model, qualified for free 2nd day shipping, and saved over $100. All because I need a particular STOCK Shaft. As far as that goes, I’m a disappointed and disgruntled customer.
The club is awesome though, thank you for asking me to provide a review, multiple times.

Ping irons for mid handicappers are designed to help improve your game by providing more forgiveness and better accuracy. They feature a larger sweet spot and a more forgiving face, making them ideal for golfers who struggle with their iron play.
They can help you hit straighter and longer shots, and can also be used to hit approach shots and greenside chips.
Why are they important?
Mid handicappers need all the help they can get and Ping irons are some of the best clubs available to them. They are designed to be more forgiving on miss-hits and to help the golfer get the ball up in the air more easily.
This results in more consistent shots and lower scores.
What are the benefits of using ping irons for mid handicappers?
Ping irons are designed to be more forgiving for mid handicappers. They have a larger sweet spot and a higher MOI, which makes them easier to hit. They also have a lower center of gravity, which makes it easier to get the ball in the air.
How do ping irons for mid handicappers work?
Mid handicap irons are designed to work in a variety of ways to help improve your game. They typically have a thinner face than higher handicap irons, which helps create more consistent contact with the ball.
They also often have a lower center of gravity, which helps get the ball airborne more easily. In addition, they often have more forgiving sole designs to help prevent you from digging too deep into the turf.
What are the features of ping irons for mid handicappers?
Some key features of ping irons for mid handicappers include:
-A wide sole that provides more forgiveness on off-center hits
-A deep center of gravity that helps launch the ball higher
-A more forgiving clubface that helps reduce sidespin and improve accuracy
-Ping’s trademark “custom tuning port” that allows for more precise weighting and clubfitting
How to use ping irons for mid handicappers?
Mid handicappers can use ping irons by taking advantage of the clubs’ loft and working the ball back in their stance. This will help to create a higher trajectory and more spin, making the ball easier to control and hit.
Additionally, mid handicappers should focus on making solid contact with the ball and avoiding fat and thin shots. By doing so, they will be able to improve their accuracy and consistency with the clubs.
What are the tips for using ping irons for mid handicappers?
Some general tips that may be of use to mid handicappers include:
– Make sure that the clubface is square to the target at impact. This will ensure that the ball flies straight and does not veer off to the left or right.
– Ensure that the hands are in the correct position on the grip. This will help to ensure that the club is swung on the correct path and that the clubface remains square to the target.
– Take a regular practice swing before hitting the ball. This will help to ensure that the body and arms are in the correct position and that the swing is smooth and fluid.
How to care for ping irons for mid handicappers?
To ensure your Ping irons perform at their best, it is important to regularly clean and maintain them. Here are a few simple tips:
-Wipe down the clubface and sole with a damp cloth after each round or practice session. This will remove any dirt or grime that could impact the club’s performance.
-Use a mild soap and warm water to clean the clubs once or twice a month.
-Be sure to dry the clubs completely after cleaning to prevent rusting.
-Store the clubs in a cool, dry place when not in use.
-Re-grip the clubs every few months to ensure a good grip and prevent slippage.
-Have the clubs professionally cleaned and serviced every year or two to ensure they are in top condition.
