When cutting fabric, the board does not mend itself and retained fuzz in the cut. I tried different fabrics and even changed to a new blade in my rotary cutter. I can’t understand why this would occur on a new board.
I have used a cutting mat for 40 years that was worn out. That is why I bought this board. It did cut well with really light weight fabric and a lighter touch to cut that fabric. I can’t really rate this item because I feel it may not be totally an issue with the board.
I can’t give a negative rating not knowing why this occurred. I would be interested to know your thoughts on this matter. The fabric I saw the most issue with is fleece. I made about 40 blankets from it.
I then made several flannel baby blankets and the cut did not leave as deep a cut and did not retain the fuzz in the board. I have been sewing for over 50 years and this is one of the strangest things I have encountered.
This cutting mat is great quality. I was thankful to have it sent to me in a large box, where the mat was able to stay flat and not be rolled. It is marked clearly, and I appreciate the neutral colors.
I hope to use it for many years of garment sewing! The price was reasonable, too. Highly recommend.

This is the second mat I have purchased. First one lasted me about 6 to 7 years before the grid lines became too faint for me to see from cutting on it. At this price point, it’s a really great value.
I love the handle, makes it so much easier to move around when needed. It’s also a large size, compared to other options, I can cut larger pieces with this mat much easier then others. It has cross grain lines for cutting binding.
My one and only downside is that because the mat is made with such hard plastic, I have scratch myself before by hitting the edge just right, but the stiffer plastic I feel is also the reason it lasts so long.
This isn’t the most complicated product you’ll ever use so what’s there to really rate. the grids & measurements are easy to read & the product is exactly as described. My only issue is purely my mistake.
The handle sticks up & takes up space & makes it hard to align against walls or stack. It it also so rigid I have to pack & take it separately. In hindsight a rolled up mat may have better fit my needs.
Again, that’s just the reality of my world & no reflection on the product or the price.
I have not used the template features, but have used this product for a few years as a cutting mat. It is durable and a good size to work on. If it is on a slick surface it has a tendency to slip. The back is smooth.
The front however does not have slippage of fabrics while cutting.

I’ve owned cutting mats and never thought much about a “name brand”. When I got this I kept “ohh – ing” and “ahhh-ing” so much my husband was laughing. Its nice. like REALLY REALLY nice! The only thing I wish is that the one side wasn’t blank, but then again, who knows, that might come in handy.
I will also say make sure you have an area that can handle this LARGE mat. The edges extend out somewhat which makes it slightly larger than the 24″ x 36″ that it measures. The quality is great and its beyond what I imagined.
I love my others, but this. oh, this is TRUE love.

This made things so much easier since I did not have to turn my stack of fabric on the mat anymore, making things misalign so I had to line them up again before cutting. I love this mat after 5 years of regular use. I have several smaller sizes, and I especially love the rotating square, but I use the 24″X36″ most often. It’s especially great to use taped onto my kitchen island to reduce back strain, but I also use it on the floor when cutting large projects.
I don’t have any complaints, and I find that it is truly “self healing”. I keep the surface smooth by simply wiping out the tiny fabric “hairs” that are sometimes get stuck in the cut lines, depending on the fabric I’m cutting.
I just rub over the surface with a slightly damp face cloth to remove the “whiskers”, and the surface of the mat is smooth as new. I am careful to cut at a 90 degree angle to the surface; this technique results in cuts that are also 90 degrees and therefore “heal” easily.

I use it all the time, cutting squares and trimming up projects. I stand it on it’s side when I’m not using it. I like the large size and I love that it is pink. Always wanted one and it is a great product.

I was disappointed the laser stopped engraving after only 2 days of very little use. After researching, I found I wasn’t the only one to experience this problem. I just replaced it. We’ll see how long it lasts.
Overall, it works pretty well. The software is a bit clunky and the instructions are not good but you can figure it out and will engrave on wood. I have engraved several things on 1/8″ baltic birch and they came out OK.

With all the mask making going on this mat is the perfect size! Projects get off to a quick start. Only thing that would make it better is if it were self-healing. That being said it will still last a very long time.
My mother bought this matt 20 years ago. Its still doing its job. I’m just now starting to get indents so ill probly have to replace it soon. The only bad thing its not self healing.

Ive bought different brand cutting mats and they went all lumpy I had two and they both went the same basically unusable. These lie flat they are great quality within a good price range. Delivered very promptly.
A really good quality work mat that is thick and heavy and stays in place. It gives peace of mind that it will stand up to cutting blades and protect the table. I also like that it has imperial measurements and not just metric as I still work in imperial when possible.

Love these mats and the colour is fab. Got a boring green mat over 3 years ago and needed to replace it and this is just great. Fantastic price and great colour, hope this lasts as long.
