Anyone else feel like their allergies get worse every year? Lately I’ve noticed that I’m extremely sensitive to dust, which is new, and my house is EXTREMELY dusty. I kept waking up all stuffy, no matter how often I washed my bedding, but since I put this cover on my pillow (under my pillow case) I’ve noticed a big difference.

When I first took it out of the packaging, I was a little worried about the material, it almost has a plastic-y feeling to it. I was sure I’d wake up all sweaty, but honestly I think it helped keep me cooler while asleep.

I love that I don’t have to worry about dust or pet dander getting through this to my pillow, and I can just unzip it and throw it in the wash. I definitely recommend this product to anyone that wakes up every morning with a stuffy nose or itchy eyes!.

When I removed these pillow protectors from the packaging, I noticed that they are made of thick, high quality cotton but that they also seemed a bit crisp and stiff. I was hoping they might soften up a bit in the washing machine and dryer, but they didn’t.

However, when I put them on my pillow and my husband’s pillow, the crispness wasn’t noticeable. I easily zipped them around our 2 different styles of pillows and put our pillowcases over them. I like the fact that they help keep our pillows clean and protected from things like dust mites and pollen since I have bad allergies.

They are also easy to remove and wash so they can be regularly kept clean. They are completely quiet while sleeping on them and moving your head around. I would definitely recommend this product.

I have purchased so many different materials over the years. Including recent purchases of Pure Care 5-sided protector made from Celliant, & that stuff is not soft or cool to the touch at all, & has a very odd yellow tinge.

If you like the cool feeling you get from Sateen Sheets, but unlike sateen sheets, the PURE CARE FRIO 360 Will stay cool all night long & is really nice feel.

If you have dust mite allergies these covers are a MUST. In addition they are water resistant which will keep your pillows cleaner and prolong their life. Whenever we buy new pillows we put them in dust mite proof covers that are also water resistant asap.

If you have dust mite allergies I do recommend starting out with new pillows if you can otherwise the air coming out, when you lay on them, is going to have allergens from the pillow. This was the first time using this brand and they have been the best we have used so far.

We bought several (standard, queen, and king) and have been using them for many weeks. They don’t make noise like some we have encountered. They do hold in air a little but given the fact that they are water resistant, have zippers, and are truly dust mite proof I was anticipating this.

When you squish them or lay on them the air comes out. you just have to get used to this part of life living with dust mite allergies. It really has not been an issue, just something to get used to. I do leave the tiniest opening in the zipper to allow the air to come out a little faster.

Washing and drying have been a breeze. We have enjoyed the covers we purchased and would recommend them. When we buy more pillows, or need to refresh old covers we will be back for more from Protect-A-Bed.

I was excited about this product from all the high reviews but I’m very disappointed in them. First, I ordered standard size for my standard size pillows and they were still too big, leaving almost a 1/4 gap.

The, when it’s zipped and you put the pillow case over it, it becomes almost like a big ball. So imagine trying to sleep on a zipped lock bag full of air. Another problem is where the zipper is located.

Instead of it being at the end of a seam, it’s a few inches inward so if you happen to put your head in that area you can sometimes feel the zipper. Lastly, I’m not a fan of the material as it feels like smooth polyester but I overlooked it since it would be covered with a pillow case.

I would return these if I could.

If you’re really concerned about your allergies (or, like me, were finally told to buy these by your doctor), these are the best on the market today. The construction’s great, as is the material. It’s not plastic-y like other brands, and the zipper is covered up.

Some here say it’s noisy, but I only sense noise when I first lay on it and the air has to seep out. That’s an issue with all allergy pillow covers that I’ve yet to find a solution for. I started by buying protectors for two pillows that seemed to bleed hundreds of feathers just by looking at them. Took about 1/2 hour while watching TV to thoroughly de-feather the outer covers inside and out, but once I slipped on the new protectors, they seemed like brand new pillows and the feathers were no longer an issue.

Love and prefer Cotton Allergy Pillow Protector to be used under the actual pillow case. I bought couple of these during different years. The quality of the older versions where better and softer fabrics with smoother zippers.

The newer ones are a bit stiffer and noisier but yet a little noise not deterring from not using them as I put a pillow case on top of it anyway. But I wish they will go back with the older quality and zippers.

I bought my first two off Amazon. Less expensive but with great reviews. I have a neck injury and no matter how many NEW pillows I buy, they are all too \”Fluffy!\” My extremely old pillows work the best.

I put them in dryer ever morning to help. From research I know they must be filled with Dust Mites, etc. I also have severe COPD. The Allergy covers I received from Amazon have zippers that stick and seem like normal pillow cases.

The ones from Allergy store, perfect zippers and fabric extremely tightly woven. MUCH better quality and am SO pleased. The only negative is after recieving them, I read they should be washed with certain additive! If I would have known, I would have ordered at the SAME time and saved Shipping Costs! This is my second set of 4. I got these for the guest bedroom because the others held up so well after many washing. In fact they still look and feel like new. They have held their shape and the zippers still work!.

I have come across this pillow protector and I decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did because this pillow protector is of high quality. First of all, the materials used are sturdy and durable.

After a few washes, the pillow protector still looks like new to me. The design of the protector is also luxurious and hotel quality. I feel very comfortable sleeping on it. It’s definitely a satisfying experience!.

These are real 100% cotton that is tightly woven so they’re going to feel less soft than other cotton products and definitely something like microfiber. It’s not a bad thing, it’s the nature of the product.

Also, after one wash (which you should be doing anyway before you use them) they are much softer and way less noisy than straight out of the package. The stitching at one end of the zipper seems a little loose, but no problem so far.

I think these are an excellent value and good quality.

BBB has a number of pillow covers available. After looking at the minimal descriptions and useful reviews, it sounds like some are not waterproof or water resistant, and some of those that are waterproof tend to make a crinkling noise when you toss and turn.

These are waterproof, and have a mild sound similar to a polyester windbreaker, not too loud or annoying to me. They are made in the USA and have a lifetime warranty, which is a solid advantage over the others.

They are also machine washable and dryer-safe, so no special handling is required.

I have bought so many pillows from $10 to $100 that have all failed. This is the first pillow that both I and my husband love. Been 3 weeks and still like it. I sleep on my side and stomach.

I like these because they feel more like fabric than others I have tried. They made my pillows look brand new and I feel cleaner sleeping with these protecting my pillow. I use a pure cotton pillowcase over them and it’s soft and smooth.

They do not make the crinkle sounds like some other protective covers. I’m getting new pillows and will be purchasing more of these because it will also prolong the life of the pillow. Good pillows are expensive and hard to find so I will defiantly use these covers over them so they will last longer.

I received this product for free to give my honest opinion. The texture has a towel like feel so much so I had to use an extra pillow case because it was not very comfortable to the touch. I had high hopes but the protector felt a little too plastic for my tastes.

One good benefit is it zips tightly and snugly. Inside the protector it feels like plastic material so I’m sure that bugs cannot get through it. I definitely like that aspect! I did not wash it so not sure if it would feel softer later.

Definitely not for direct use on the skin. I guess you could, but it feels like putting your face on a paper towel.

I got a set of the a little over a month ago. I have a very sensitive nose especially while sleeping, so I needed the extra protection from my pillows. Washing them weekly just isn’t going to happen.

These covers zip up allowing the pillow to be completely encased. I then inserted the zipped end into the pillowcase so I wouldn’t feel it while sleeping. I’ve noticed less issues with middle of the night allergy attacks.

They’re also waterproof so if you tend to drill in your sleep, this will keep the pillow protected from that. Machine washable so they too stay clean. Would highly recommend to anyone that is sensitive to pillows or just wants them to stay clean.

I have terrible night sweats. My pillows get dingy and gross after a month of use. This works. It kept my pillow clean and sort of wisked away dampness as I slept. The only issue I have it the texture.

If it’s zippered all the way up, and you get a little extra air in it, it won’t deflate. Which, I understand is the purpose, but it makes the pillow bulky and sort of annoying. It also feels like plastic.

Which, again, I know is the point. But it’s uncomfortable and loud. Like having a grocery bag in bed with you.

I love that it easily comes off and can be washed in the washing machine. When done with hot water it actually kills the dust mites and other allergens. Machine wash hot, machine dry – and slap it back on the bed.

I bought these pillow protectors at the same time I bought the matching mattress protector. Both are excellent quality products! Cotton-like fabric that’s substantial enough to do the job! Good zippers and good fit after you wash them.

Bought the Anti-Mite & Sweat-Resistant Pillow Protector for my husband. He says he doesn’t get all hot and sweaty with them. They wash well. Only issue I have with them, is the tag that tells you what they are made of and how to take care of them, will hit me in the face occasionally, when my husband can’t get comfortable.

These pillow protectors are great. We operate a furnished apartment rental, and we don’t want our guests to have any fear of catching bed bugs or any other creepy crawlies from previous guests. We have a Keetsa mattress and ordered the mattress protector and pillow protectors from the beginning.

The material is soft and lightweight and washes easily. You never would know the protectors are on there. Recently I ordered some new pillows online (from another vendor, not Keetsa) and saw they had anti dust-mite pillow protectors on there, too, way cheaper than the ones at Keetsa.

So I ordered some, thinking they are all the same. Well, boy was I in for a surprise. I put the covers on the pillows and then lay down on the bed to try it out. within 1 minute the back of my head was sweating! I thought, my gosh, what’s in these pillows? Then I realized the heat was coming from the plasticky pillow protectors.

How terrible! I’m so glad I tried the pillows out before allow a paying guest to stay there. I returned those pillow protectors and immediately ordered some of the GOOD ONES from Keetsa. I never knew how wonderful they really are until I tried the competition.

The only problem is, Keetsa doesn’t make them for King size pillows.

Perfect fit for my memory foam pillow purchased at Aki Home. It’s like it was created for it. Well made. Zipper works easily with no issues. Zero funky odors from the fabric and washes well with the sheets.

I was expecting one protector but there are two in a package which was a pleasant surprise.

do not buy these pillow case covers. they are very bad for any person to lay their head on them. i woke up with my right eye red and swollen. they also sucked all the air out of the pillows. like a vacuum.

my eye is still swollen. looks like i got punched in the eye. very poor product for cases. the same polyurthane is used on mattress and box spring. its only good for that.

The design appears to be an effective one to prevent bed bugs from entering. There is an interior flap, then a hook-and-loop closure and, finally, an exterior zipper. They have 2 issues. First, these can be machine washed but can be dried on an air-only setting.

I tried hanging them to dry and they took hours. Second, and for the life of me I can not comprehend why this is, they inflate while on the pillow. They puff up to rock hardness. You have to press down hard to release the air.

And they inflate every time after use. It’s just weird.

This pillow cover is very nice and I think it works great so far. I have allergies but not severe allergies. Sometimes I wake up congested with itchy eyes. Since I have been using this pillow cover, I don’t seem to be waking up that way as much anymore.

Could this pillow cover be the reason? I would like to think so. I’ve always washed my pillow cases but not my pillows themselves because it tends to ruin them. With this pillow cover, you can just wash the cover and pillow case and not have to worry about ruining your expensive pillow.

This washes very well and I’ve even been able to get makeup stains out of it with ease. I highly recommend this pillow cover.

The AllerEase Cotton Fresh Zippered Pillow Protector is great! This was easy to put on my pillow. I like that it blocks out out dust mites, pollen, bed bugs, pet dander and other allergens. I have all sorts of allergies and felt this was an easy way to help try to prevent additional issues, and felt less congested and better rested when using! It’s nice and soft and looks nice as well.

I also like that it’s easy to wash–just toss it in the washing machine. This is a literally dream for allergy sufferers!.

I could barely tell that it was on my pillow, but I could tell a difference for while I slept. I am a heavy drooler and I have noticed that my drool does not puddle on the pillow anymore and my pillow is now protected.

Bought this because I shower at night, let hair air dry while I sleep, and I didn’t want water stains on my new king pillows. These are thick and somewhat loud, but not bothersome to me (like the sound of a waterproof crib pad–crinkly).

When fully zipped, it holds air like a balloon, so you can compress your pillow and zip to really stiffen/tighten your pillow temporarily (air eventually seeps in). But also when your head hits pillow, it’s like a balloon slowly deflating.

You could leave zipper undone an inch to prevent this. For my waterproofing purposes, these fit the bill.

These are great! Was expecting crunchy, wakeful material, but these are soft. They passed the wet wash rag test ( for 10 minutes) with no saturation to the case or underneath. They look so clean and white, and don’t wrinkle much.

They were inexpensive, but really surprised by their quality. I love these. I intend to wash gently using care not to disrupt the teflon waterproofing.

These fit the Queen sized Sobakawa pillow perfectly which go great on a King sized bed. Take care of the placement of the zipper head. I had to redo the first time because my face would have been in the zipper with the decorative part of our pillowcases showing right side up.

This gave just a hint of structure to the large Queen sized Sobakawa pillow, so it feels less like a sack of potatoes and more like a pillow 😉 All sleeps really well together~!.

I really love my Allerease Maximum Zippered Pillow Protector. I have terrible allergies to pretty much everything indoors and out, so anything I can do to help keep those common allergens out, I’m willing to try.

The standard/queen size pillow case fits perfectly. The zipper runs smooth and is very high quality. The material of the pillow case is nice and thick, but extremely soft. It’s also very cooling, which is so nice.

This Allerease Maximum Zippered Pillow Protector is the best I have ever used. You can wash this one in hot water. It fits my standard pillow perfectly. The material is of a good thickness and it is super soft, there is not crunching sound when sleeping on it.

The zipper is small enough that you don’t even feel it. All the stitching at the seams and zipper were straight and tight. I machine washed in hot water and machine dryer and it came out even softer then when before it was washed.

I didn’t notice any shrinking and it was wrinkle free. I highly recommend this pillow protector, the quality of the material is great.

If you want an allergy-free sleep then this is a great pillow protector. I have 2 cats, the kitten sleeps with me and when I would wake up I would have red eyes and sneeze a bit. But since I put the case protector on my pillow, I have had the best sleep ever.

For years I have used quilted pillow protectors that I use under my pillowcases to super protect my pillows from stain, perspiration, and body odors. Some quilted pillow protectors are only quilted on one side (DUH!).

These pillow protectors are quilted on both sides; however, they also have an extra waterproof lining on the inside. When I pulled them out of the washing machine, there was a lot of water inside the protectors that did not spin out.

I turned them inside out and spun them again; they were still soppy wet. So I hung them outside to drip, then I had to turn them inside in and hang them again to finish drying. Needless to say, I do not have time to go to this much trouble to launder my linens.

I will take care of the bed bugs and dust mites separately; I just want quilted on both sides. This product is not what I wanted, but it is perfect for people who don’t mind the extra trouble.

I ordered four of these – not for bedbug protection just to use with some old pillows that needed new protections. The quilting is nice and they washed up well BUT. first of all they are too big (standard sized pillows) so they shift around and tend to bunch up or hang out the hem edge of the pillow cases.

Second – and MOST IMPORTANTLY – they get VERY HOT within minutes of putting your head down on them. The inside is lined with a fabric type plastic which does not breathe (no wonder the bugs die!). By morning the back of my husband’s an my head was wet as if we had just washed it only it was sweat.

I found my two covers on the floor after the second night. I must have taken them off during the night. My husband waited to take them off until he went to bed the third night. He is sooo brave! I would return them but I didn’t keep the packaging.

These say queen but I assumed they would fit a standard queen/standard size pillow but they are way too big, have to return. However they are great as far as being thick. Would protect very well. I was also disappointed to find out it had a proposition 65 warning.

It is soft and quilted but has a waterproof lining. We needed waterproof pillow protectors because our cat has ruined some of our bedding with a wetting habit that rears its ugly head if he is ill. So these pillow protectors (we bought 2) have been a very good investment.

They work great. My only complaint would be that they are a little large, but this size is designed for standard or queen, and our pillows are smaller memory foam ones, so that is to be expected. It’s not enough of a deterrent to lower my rating.

We had previously bought several waterproof/allergen reducing pillow protectors, from an allergy supply company, for pillows on all our other beds (some of our kids are allergy sufferers). I wanted to see how Bed Bath & Beyond’s products stacked up.

They are very comparable and do the same job but I spent less money with Bed Bath & Beyond. I would definitely recommend this product.

This protector will keep my Memory Foam mattress protected for a very long time and the price is great❤️❤️❤️

It is a good thing about the protector at least you know it well protect the mattress.

I am very pleased with this pillow cover. It is a really nice soft fabric. I was a little hesitant about what size to buy since my pillow was labeled as a standard/queen size. One reviewer mentioned that it shrunk a lot after laundering it.

I bought the standard size, and my cover did not shrink at all. If anything, I wish it would have shrunk more. 🙂 All the other pillow covers I could find with gussets were much more expensive. I am super happy with my purchase.
