I purchased the pumpkin pie plate last year for my granddaughter because she’s the only one in the family that likes pumpkin pie. It was adorable and the recipe was perfect! She loved the pie plate and said the pie was delicious.
So, I decided to buy the apple and the pecan pie plates this year. They are very pretty and I can’t wait to make pies using the recipe provided with the plates.
The plates are great looking, love the appearance. Cute idea to provide the recipe after the pie is enjoyed. A recipe on paper is included, so you can use it to make the first pie. However, the plates are so tiny I am sort of embarrased to make the pies and give them as a present.
One plate makes a nice serving for one, but for two the serving is pretty skimpy. Disappointed.

Hate to say it, but I have been the pumpkin pie maker since Grandma passed in 1980 and despite thinking she made the absolute best pie, Libby’s pumpkin pie mix makes an equally delicious pie. Tried the plain pumpkin but the mix is infinitely easier & might even be better.

The flavour of the cherry mini pie is good. I agree more filling would be nice. My main issue is they don’t look like the picture at all. They are more like fat pillows, the filling was spilling out and it looked sort of cheap.

We like the flavor but not as much as we like the blueberry pie. Overall the mini pies are not our favorite treat from Katz. The operative word is mini – they are one bite for the adult men in our home and about 2 bites for us girls.

I was really honestly expecting some cheap cool whip-esque pie filling with some fakey artificial lime flavoring. I was so surprised by this! I see these pies all the time and I usually walk right by them but never again.
This key lime pie was the bomb dot com. The filling was very rich, extremely thick and creamy like the consistency of canned condensed milk. The lime flavor was fresh, tart, sweet, and added just the right amount of tart lime-y oomph you’re expecting from a good key lime pie.
I did not think there would be enough whipped cream but the whipped cream is definitely present and there is enough on each slice for you to get some in each bite. The lime flavor never gets too sweet or overwhelming.
I would serve this at a party or bring it to a potluck. The ONLY issue I have with the Edwards frozen key lie pie is how THICK the graham cracker bottom is. The flavor is there for sure but it is outrageously and unnecessarily thick.
I could not ever cut through the pie (I had to use a spatula) and I had to break the pie crust up with my hands which is not cool. If the crust was not a solid inch thick and rock hard this pie would be a solid objective 10/10.
Back in my college days, I used to treat myself with getting the single portions of Edwards key lime pie. It has long been a favorite of mine. Recently I introduced it to my family, and was not sure if the kids would like the lime.
but they absolutely loved it. The “pie” portion is creamy, and the sweetness is countered with citrus zest that is very balanced (not too strong). The crust is made out of pressed cookie crumbles that add a nice textured crunch.

I have eaten at least one or more beef pot pies a week for the last few years and grew to love the taste and quality of them. Until a few months ago, when I tasted a strange tasting and strange looking pressed meat product in a pot pie I purchased.
I immediately thought I had purchased one of your plant based meat pot pies, but to my surprise, it was not. I contacted you through social media and told them about it, asking if you’d changed the recipe, but this question was not answered.

I was really excited to find a real food shake with the calories and macros levels that could help me gain weight. Alas, the taste was way too sweet, set your teeth on edge sweet! I love peanut butter anything and peanut butter cookies are my favorite cookies, but they are not anywhere near this sweet.
