20 Best Phone Cases For Galaxy S8 (2023 Updated)

I ordered several cases for my Galaxy S8 and this is the only one that makes me feel like my phone is protected. Case is very stylish and very durable, does not feel flimsy in the hand at all like the Life Proof case I had before it.

Yes, you have to press the screen a little harder or multiple times to execute an action and yes lent gets trapped under the screen protector after time which makes scrolling a little tasking, but I still wouldn’t trade this case for anything else.

The pieces of this case fit snugly inside each other, but the case is a breeze to take off and put back on. Thinking about getting it in another color. Overall, I am very happy with this case and recommend it to any S8 owner.

Purchased this case after upgrading my old phone and wanted to protect it front and back. The case fits perfectly even scrolls from the edge and looks the part too. Really pleased with the purchase and to top it off it came 2 days early.

Just like others say. you have to press real hard to spell what you want or the home or back keys. Scratches very easy! And there are holes in it which dust gets under the screen and makes it not scroll or type as good too! Did not protect my phone as the glass screen cracked after weeks of buying it!.

Seems like a good cover. Looks good. But does not fit my samsung S8. Cover is too big for my S8. Too bad. Wad bummed. Re ordered from another company not as good of case but it fit. I understand these things happen.

This case/screen protector is beautiful (I got gold/black). It’s slim design makes it so much easier to hold and put in my purse or pocket. A few “major” flaws with it are, the back clear case is always smudged with finger prints and whatnot and it’s very difficult to it clean (don’t know why)? Also, the screen protector scratches very easily, literally anything will scratch it, never had this happen with any other “screen protector” I’ve had.

So all in all its a very nice combo but I’m very disappointed that it gets scratched so easily. Would I but it again. Probably not, only because of the scratches, if they changed the type of glass they use to a better grade then I definitely would.

Sadly this was the screen protector/case and screen protector, that I had tried and my never-ending battle to find something that I actually protects the S8 with some longevity. Unfortunately within 4 days of having the case, the screen protector scratched significantly and very visibly.

This is the 2nd i-Blasson case I’ve tried and both times the screen protector that a week without being damage to the point of being constantly visibly obnoxious. Also the back side of the case is clear which is just obnoxious because all it does is show fingerprints smudges and general dirtiness with the greatest of ease! Sadly the back usually looks worse than the front touch screen.

I’ve now moved on to the Pelican Voyager now. so far, so good. Sarah if you haven’t already so nice in the rest of my review I would not recommend this product. It is durable and it does have a warranty but the warranties only honored if you purchase direct from the manufacturer.

Most of these cases block the voice when you make calls and when you want to listen to audio without headphones. But this one is great, clear voice during calls and audio. Great to hangle and great price.

The clear cover on back and front of case help minimize the thickness making it feel less bulky. The sides are thick and durable with covers over the ports that help keep lint and other debris out.

I was needing to replace my old unicorn beetle case, which I loved. I purchased the Clayco one, and was very disappointed. The front protective cover was not glued on correctly and immediately came loose and was not sealing around the screen well at all.

Because of the loose seal, dirt/dust kept getting under it. Plus the sides were super loose so my touch on the sides was impacted that I had to push down hard to make contact on the screen. The back colored plastic piece kept popping off for no real reason and was just not effective at protecting my phone.

I went back and found my previous brand on the Unicorn Beetle and purchased it. Would not recommend based upon my rather bad experience.

Going from an Otterbox ($50) with a glass covering (another $50, never stays on right) to this is a world of difference. The case offers great protection all around, including raised areas so it makes it difficult for the glass to hit anything.

For 1/4 of the price of my previous setup, this wins hands down. Much lighter in weight as well. My only negatives are the case is a little slick and the port covers are a little stiff. Phone: Galaxy S8+.

Amazing seems so durable and sturdy, I believe its gonna definitely save my phone and last for real long, if you use it properly. worth the price. better than buying and protective case and screen guard separately, One should buy this instead.

So I have had the Hybrid Neo case for my Samsung S8+ for about 20 months. It has been OK but in that time I have had two incidents with phone drops. The first one about 3 months ago is when I dropped the phone onto concrete.

It seemed to hit in just the wrong place with cracks developing in the bottom left corner of the phone face. I thought I was just unlucky and it must have hit a bump in the concrete, I replaced the screen through Samsung at great cost.

But just this week the exact same issue occurred. This time I was careful to check the drop zone and to make sure there were no protruding particles that could explain the damage. So two screen changes with identical damaged areas in the bottom corners.

It makes me feel that there is insufficient protection at the corners. As a separate issue, the outer metal layer has broken in the top right corner. Currently dealing with Spigen to get it fixed and so far (after a week) have been referred back to the retailer to get some satisfaction.

Too early to see what the outcome will be.

The product arrived in great condition, it was new and properly packaged. The case itself is decent, but does not offer the absolute best protection. It should be viewed as the low-end of medium-sized cases, quite slim but not as slim as the skin-like cases, nor as bulky as the ‘armor’ cases.

The case can be slippery but I think it is not as slippery as many people claim it is. There are no occasions where I feel like it’s going to drop from my hand, although it could be possible if I am not paying attention.

It’s a good middle ground for someone who wants some protection without too much bulk. Regardless, do not expect your phone to survive ANY kind of drop/hit. I have not dropped my S8 so far, so I cannot say how it fares, but many other users with the Neo Hybrid report their phone survived.

This is very much based on luck, so do not look for precise answers. I also decided to try out Slim Armor for S8 from Spigen and will be choosing between the two when it arrives.

I was surprised about the features, how they worked oposit way that I have expected, and that is: was expected great safety, and there is no safety. Phone has dropped to floor, about 1 meter high, and corner of glass is broken.

It is completely impossible, looking how this product is advertised. And other – design, button pressing force is very great, buttons are working like without any case, very easy and light.

I previously had an s5 with a generic card holding case. I loved the functionality of it but it added to the bulk of the phone and the slide, while still functioned, broke. I LOVE the S8 from the day I got it, absolutely a beautiful phone! I didn’t want a case that was going to take away from the aesthetics of such a nice looking phone.

I ordered this case the day I ordered the phone, I had the phone a couple days before I got the case so I had some time with out the case to experience the phone. I always felt like I was about to drop the phone, the wrap around screen was very easy to touch and open apps when I picked it up.

I found it very fragile feeling when I picked it up, afraid of dropping it or bumping the screen opening something. This case fits very nicely, very well made and snug. The slide out has a very nice snap lock to ensure it is closed.

Happily I can fit 3 cards in even though it claims 2 on the ads. Not only does this case give good solid protection for the phone, it adds to the functionality by providing some grip on the edges without interfering with the any of the function of the screen of this phone, a place to pick it up without bumping something on the screen.

It isn’t bulky and doesn’t feel like an add-on, it feels like it completes the phone! There isnothing on this case that I have found that interferes in any way with the operation of this phone. The case itself provides protection for the phone as well complementing the aesthetics of a beautiful phone.

It functions as described, all the buttons work, the case never feels like it is in the way, it just works very well! I highly recommend this case!.

This case works as advertised. I read the reviews, and I was hesitant because of some of the issues. But, because I had the version case for my Galaxy 6 that worked well, I decided to give this one a go for my new Galaxy 8.

To address the negative reviews. This does fit the Galaxy 8 perfectly. The volume buttons and other buttons work perfectly. My only guess is that other reviewers were trying this case on the wrong phone.

Or, maybe they made adjustments based on feedback. Either way it fits very well. Like the previous version, I can fit three cards with ease. For me that means my drivers license, ATM card and credit card.

That is it. You could remove one card and put maybe 3-4 cash bills folded once. I do not like carrying a bunch of stuff, so I do not use a wallet anymore with this case. The slide cover opens and closes easily, but stays closed when you need it to.

Maybe over time it will get loose, but my last case did not over 2 years now, and the mechanisms seem identical. The case with 3 cards in it allow for wireless charging without a problem. I am not sure why people say it does not.

Having used Spigen products before on previous smartphones, I wanted one that had the capability to store identification and/or credit cards for when I have only my smartphone with me and not my wallet.

The Spigen Slim Armor CS case met that criteria. This case isn’t shy about its size, and with the Note 8 already a big phone, this case does add noticeable heft to the phone. But in typical Spigen fashion, their product does an excellent job on protecting the phone from accidental drops and the card holding case has the ability to hold at least two credit-card sized items in it.

It’ll be determined over time whether the finishing paint on the case will hold up over daily use, as the finish on my previous Spigen case for a Galaxy S5 looked quite worn over 3+ years of use, but protection and utilitarian use is why I bought this case.

I told everyone I knew about my OtterBox. I have multiple sclerosis and I drop my phone quite a fair deal. The last case I had from you guys was superb not only was my phone always protected from my shaky hand but the phone came with a template so that I could create custom backgrounds for the case.

I wore that case into the ground I loved it so much so when I had to replace it obviously I was going to get another OtterBox. I tried my best to find the phone case that matched my previous one but the customer support service wasn’t able to identify my case.

So after searching I settled on one that I thought was the closest in design. And in this new case my phone is so secure I can’t click any of the side buttons (power or volume) without indenting my fingers.

It takes a couple tries to get my phone to screenshot or to shut off. I haven’t tried getting an image in the back because when I put the case on for the first time trying to get it off felt like I was going to snap the phone.

(I double checked to make sure this is the correct size for my phone and it is. ) While I haven’t lost total faith in OtterBox because my phone does feel safe I am not a happy Otter.

I tried this case out for a Pixel 5. The way that newer Android handles the Back button is to start your thumb from offscreen on the left or right and swipe in toward the center. This case has a bezel sticking out past the screen on all sides of the phone, meaning the natural place to swipe in with your thumb is obstructed by a hard edge, making the Back swipe impossible.

Likewise the Home swipe comes from the bottom, bezel in the way, etc. Otterbox seems to have just issued an iPhone case for an Android phone with no thought to how Androids actually work. It’s fine for the old, pre-gesture interface, but a Pixel 5 or 6 – do not buy an Otterbox case until they’ve figured out how to make one that works.

This was a replacement for for my Symmetry case I bought 5 years ago. These are amazing cases. But they have changed. The volume buttons are difficult to use if you don’t have strength in your hands.

They are still easy to install, hold up under many drops, and easy to hold in your hand. What I don’t like and the reason I almost sent this back is because this particular color I received is not as shown.

It is a tacky (ugly) glittery colored case that I would have never bought. The red I am replacing is no longer an option and the new available options are odd. If you like Star Wars, Mickey Mouse or other cartoon movies…this is the perfect place to shop for a new case.

But the solid color options outside of black, are few. Otterbox, please keep all generations in mind in your designs.

I bought 2 and the screen became scratched, on one so i thought I would buy some of that toughened glass screen protection. It was really very easy to push the plastic screen out, that was in the iblason, and replaced it with the glass one.

And it works great, just have to be very careful with the glass one, and it will stick into the iblason, where the plastic screen was. You need to get the ear speaker lined up, but like I said it is very easy, and you can remove it to line up the speaker.

It is way better than the original one, and it works perfectly when done, and it does not get scratched which is a bonus. AND A LOT CHEAPER THAN BUYING A NEW CASE. Well hopefully this information will help you , AND it does work great when done, AND very easy too do.

I’m really loving this case the top and bottom come out just a bit more just so the curve edges never touch a surface if you lay it face down, the frame around the finger print scanner, flash and the camera lens, has a slope feel to it so my finger never misses the scanner, I have yet to hit the lens, all the way around the case frame has this grip texture to making it easy to pull in and out of pocket.

The belt clip is nice but I’m not sure I’ll even use it but it is nice knowing it has it! I’m getting great feedback from all the buttons on the sides. Now for what I think may be a con for this case.

It has a nice tight fit around the screen but. With no built-in screen protector it puts me on the edge. But if a screen protector can still be installed on it then it is prefect in my book! But it would have to be very specific on what type of screen protector you need to use with it or charge extra and throw a good durable screen protector in with the case! I have yet to try it on with a screen protector but I will soon.

Other then that I would say this a great case feels durable, strong, and very protective of the phone it holds. The back is clear but not crystal clear they send templates of designs that fit the phone case insides,so that you can have a cool little design on the back case you can also cut pictures to the size of the template to put them in there to show on the back of the phone case as well.

So maybe if they sell these on the website for cheap or make custom ones for it, would keep me interested in what they have for it next. It doesn’t have much weight that it adds but there is weight. alot lighter then a otterbox.

I bought this product sometime ago and never rated it. The only reason I am rating it now is because E-bay continues to ask. I had bought the Armorbox protection case for my phone of course. I was leaving the country and wanted to make sure my phone was protected.

Before I could the leave the airport the thing fell apart. The clip on the outer case broke. I was pretty upset about it but did not have time to call for a refund or write a review. Anyway I found a cover at the airport that worked.

Payed a butt load but my phone was safe.

First case I have owned made by I-Blason, but it won’t be the last! This is the best fitting case I have ever owned out of about 50 or so! It took some effort to initially get the 2 pieces of the case apart to put my S8 inside it, but with the near perfect fit it’s understandable! I can’t comment yet on the durability.

And hope I never have to! I expect it should give excellent protection as well! Definitely worth purchasing!!.

This case is great. Pros: – great protection for the phone. better than most cases – 3 piece. has a back plastic cover, front plastic cover attachment (no glass screen cover), and rubber under cover.

very protective – the case makes the phone easier to grip – the marble design is stylish – rubber on buttons protects them and they are easy to press – case does not cover phone ports – feels really smooth Cons: – the raised lip of the front part of the case is a little higher than I’d want.

It makes your screen look more sunken in if you know what I mean – it’s a little harder to pull down your notification bar at the top, and even more hard to pull out the side menu on the far right of the phone – I like the marble design but I kind of wish the front plastic cover attachment was plain.

Pretty good phone case for the price. My last one broke after a year so I decided to try this one and it’s not bad. A little light weight but seems to take falls well enough. After a fall you gotta make sure it’s still clicked together because sometimes it comes apart on 1 side.

I’d give this phone a 7/10. Not the best phone case but far from the worst. You get what you paid for but I’m happy with it overall.

It’s TUFF, it’s kindof bulky (I’ve seen worse) and streamlined at the same time. My phone is so pretty and delicate-looking, I can’t stand the thought of breaking it, and my life-style is pretty on-the-move, so I know it’s going to take a few flyers in its lifetime.

The goal is to make it survive as long as it can. I think this is going to help with that. My blue phone looks snazzy through the clear-ish case, and all the buttons and holes lineup in the right place.

(Okay, it’s heavy-ish, but not at the top weight in the range. Don’t expect sleek. ).

Certainly the best case I have ever purchased for a mobile phone, and rest assured I have had lots! It’s very well made, looks good and I love the magnetic catch, a contrast to some of the plastic catches that some cases are designed with, which give up after a while! When this case wears out I will buy an identical one from the same company.

This is the second one I have ordered for my Samsung Galaxy S8. It has totally protected my phone. However, I wore the area off that protected the buttons on the sides. Everything still works, but felt I needed to protect those more, that is why I ordered a new one.

This is my favorite case on the market. It’s sleek and fits in my hands perfectly. Used this same model for my S5 and now my S8. The grip provides a stylish form of security. The case fits my curved screen nicely.

I’ve had issues with other cases that seem to stretch out over time – never has been a problem with Speck. Very pleased!.

I am very h as rd on phones. I recently brought a case same amount as candyshrll. to have it break apart without dropping my phone. My son kept telling me to order this case because he loves them. I gave it a try and I am do pleased.

It is very durable and very stylish.

Over the years I’ve had MANY phones and cases and never cracked a screen. I bought an S21 Ultra and wanted a simple black case so I went with this one. My phone took a 2 foot tumble out of bed and now has a cracked screen.

This case is garbage with zero protection. It’s also starting to peel around the edges after two weeks of use. Don’t buy this unless you enjoy wasting money and replacing screens.

This screen protector is absolutely amazing; nevermind the fact they figured out how to make glass out of 20% aluminum and yet be crystal clear (!), it’s not just hype, it obviously makes a difference.

The coating on it is far better than others and still as good as day 1 after weeks of abusive use, which all wear off after a few months of heavy use, leading to easy fingerprinting, and has withstood impacts that would have easily shattered other protectors, maybe even gone through to the screen.

It also has scratch resistance that I almost don’t understand how it’s possible; as a “demo” to one of my coworkers (we work on iDevices and Macs, so are always comparing Apple products/accessories), I accidentally got a little too rough with an exacto blade and actually SNAPPED it on the screen; not so much as a micro-scratch! The protector finally did break, but just a hairline fracture so minor I didn’t notice it at first; I dropped the phone directly face-down on cement (for like the 100th time), and there was a little pebble there to REALLY concentrate the impact, a real worst-case-scenario.

And yet, the protector is still useable, with that crack only being noticeable in direct sunlight at just the right angle, or at night with the screen on when viewing at a very steep angle, so I’m gonna continue to use it! This new aluminoscilicate glass is the real-deal, absolutely not some gimmick! I think this is now the only protector I’ll ever buy.

The glitter bubbles look beautiful and the case is strong. My hands have problems gripping at times, this case is slick and has slipped out of my hands. The protection has been great to the phone. I would like a thicker rubber edging for grip.

Item looks sleek and great! Received lots of compliments adding to a minimal smart, classy look. Durable when dropped and absorbed it well on the backing of the case, however the gold painted edges on the front of the case, scratches off easily (revealing the black underneath), which is a shame.

I haven’t installed it perently yet. I have a Verizon but this fits fine. I thinks the protective screen that came with the case I just purchased transmits “touches” much better so far. This is my third Zizo Bolt cover.

My previous Zizo cases have saved my phone from falls off my car going down the road, many drops onto hard surfaces and l lots of hard bumps.

Forget about wasting $60-$80 on a case and tempered glass screen protector at your cellular carrier or electronic box store. Cell Case Depot has an array of quality cases, many with glass screen protectors, at a fraction of the cost.

My Zizo case for Samsung Galaxy S8+ with tempered glass screen protector was only around $20! The case has a built – in kickstand and is military-grade drop-tested! Customer-for-life!.

Great phone holder. Solid well constructed and it has survived several falls without any damage to the phone or case. I am on my second holder, the first one lasted a long time, but just started to show the wear when I splurged and bought a new one.

Very happy with the quality.

After half an hour of use at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, the camera becomes like burning coal, overheats and turns off. The video is crashing. The video quality is terrible – everything is soapy and noisy even in good lighting conditions.

Sent it back for a replacement. If they send the same illiquid – I will hand over and return the money. A nightmare. Every year gopro is made worse and worse.

It was hard to find a non-black case that will make my phone distinctive so I can find where the neck I put it, but this does the job. Provides good protection and allows all the controls to work smoothly, and the rubber-like material is pleasant to the touch.

Nice back cover, slighthly grippy in the right conditions and covers all edges, however offers very little front cover, if you drop your 650 phone face down from waist height you can pretty much say goodbye to your screen, style over protection in my opinion, have a good day!.
