For starters, I am a skin care addict. I also love pricey makeup but skin care always trumps my makeup purchases. If your skincare isn’t up to par, neither is your makeup in my opinion. I literally have a bathroom shelf, bathroom tub, shower and caddy, a bathroom cabinet and a closet packed with skin care.

I know, we only have one face but through trial and error I have come across a regimen that has kept my face glowing and clear at 49. And also I can’t resist trying out new products that have the skin care ingredients I know that my skin craves.

With that being said, there are VERY, VERY few empties laying around and with this product there have been four empties, and I’m waiting on my fifth tube to be shipped while squeezing out the very last remnants in the old one! This moisturizer quite plainly, just does what it’s supposed to.

I have oily, mature skin (with few wrinkles. ) Thank God for genetics and a great skin care regimen and this moisturizer is my last step before sunscreen. It has niacinamide and peptides and has never one time, ever broke me out.

I know what not to use to keep my skin clear and this is one of my top five products. No frills, just a honestly great moisturizer that doesn’t leave your face greasy or feeling heavy with product and sinks in beautifully without any product build up.

First impression when unboxing: The box and bottle are the same as the traditional packaging, simple, effective, pleasing to the eye. I opened the flip cap and took a whiff, there’s a light scent that reminds me of tanning lotion/sunscreen (kind of like that cooking bacon-esque scent).

I read other reviews saying that a little goes a long way so I squeezed out a pea sized amount. The formula is super light, and is a water gel consistency (which made me nervous for the mattifying factor).

I started with the back of my hand to see a comparison. A little definitely went a long way, and traveled up my entire forearm. I compared my hands and the hand with the product was significantly less shiny, and all of the cracks (it’s cold and dry where I am at the moment) were blurred.

I tried it on my face and it definitely mattified my oily areas, but I wasn’t sure how hydrated I was. This can be a good and a bad thing depending on how you look at it. It wasn’t greasy and didn’t leave behind a film, but at the touch it felt like I didn’t have anything on and felt like I needed to reapply.

When I did reapply though, it felt like I overused product so it definitely achieved its claim to fame. It’s not my holy grail but I’ll definitely use the whole tube especially since it didn’t break out my sensitive/acne prone skin.

Neutrogena has always made some of the best and affordable skin care products! But this one right here is in my opinion one of the best formulated moisturizers out in the market, PERIODD! The entire Hydro Line from neutrogena has some of the most amazing products but this one in particular just hits different.

After 1 use of this product I felt seen the amazing benefits this gel cream has to offer. It actually made me excited to apply my tedious skin care routine. But knowing I just added this gel cream to my day regimen sparked joy I couldn’t get to my bathroom sink fast enough.

Since using this moisturizer especially before make up application my skin has a natural glow within. I also have combo -oily skin and this product definitely helps with that. Bonus another reason I needed to try was of course the hyaluronic acid in this formula.

Since using religiously my skin has a noticeable difference of brightness hydration. Theres a very light and undetectable sent to it but the scent to this cream smells clean gets me excited every use.

Honestly I only tried this product because of all the hype I seen on it. Was questioning if this was actually a cult classic but after using and falling in love I totally agree! I bought this after doing a lot of research and reading reviews from different sources and personally think this product is not as good as its marketing says. I try to take good care of my skin, and was looking for a lightweight moisturizer to switch to.

I bought this and the first thing I noticed was the smell of cheap cosmetic stuff. That typical smell found in pretty much any regular creams or lotions you get at the supermarket. Regardless, I decided to try it out: texture is quite nice, and it absorbs rapidly into your skin.

But I have been using this for about 5 days and got 4 massive pimples, plus my skin still feels dry. I have never experienced a reaction like this with any other product, and I just stopped using it.

I do not know whether it is the same formulation (this one is made in Brazil) but I definitely do not recommend using it. Plus, for the price paid, I could have bought a much better quality moisturizer.

It absorbs nicely into skin and doenst leave being a greasy feeling or stickiness behind. It gives you a dewy glow and makes your skin appear more plump. While this would be a great day cream, especially in the summer months, it’s just not moisturizing enough for me at night or the colder months.

As for cons, while low on the ingredient list, it does contain fragrance and alcohol which might not be suitable for those with sensitive skin. I didn’t see any reduced appearance of pores in one jar and some sample packets.

I would recommend this to those with oily or combination skin. PROS: – Oil Free – Doesn’t irritate my skin – Doesn’t leave skin feeling greasy/sticky – Lightweight and Absorbs well – Gives you a dewy finish – Hydrates well during the day CONS: – Contains Fragrance and Alcohol – Not moisturizing enough for me – Did not see any minimization in pores.

Almost the perfect product! The texture is unusual and unique, it feels just like a regular cream but then transforms into a watery gel as you apply it. very clever I admit! And no tackiness or sticky after-feel either, it sinks in almost immediately and feels mega hydrating as though your skins’ thirst is being quenched (I felt the same thing with Clinique’s DDMG).

The hydrating effect lasts too and was just right for my skin, not too light and not too heavy, a very rare thing for me to come across! Totally adore the jar and gold spatula, ingredients are great too.

well almost. It’s those dreaded silicones that just have to be added in and ruin a great thing. And not just one type but multiple variations of them. Ended up with clogged pores on my nose and a breakout on my chin (always the first place I show signs of a reaction).

To start it off, I don’t have a terrible acne problem, but I have a terrible problem with picking at my face and making it worse. I found out about tatcha through an ipsy bag but somehow forgot about it after.

I’ve been using PanOxyl for my acne recently and it’s been working, but I started to think about my skin and the nourishment it needs. I know aging is normal but I’m about to be 27 and time feels like it’s going by way to fast.

I still feel young and I want to try to still look young to be honest. So I recently saw an ad on Instagram for Tatcha. I decided to buy the limited addition water cream and the mini rice polish for oily skin.

Although pricy, when I received the packaging and letters, I was in awe with how Tatcha is supporting the futures of young girls/women with purchases. For someone who thinks about the world and the impact of everything, who can’t complain about that? So I know you can’t make pores disappear, I will say that using these products for a minute now made my pores appear a lot smaller and unclogged?.

I’m amazed. Literally. After this I’m sure to use Tatcha in my longterm skin routine. THE ONLY THING I AM UPSET ABOUT — Is that I didn’t take before and after pictures to show how serious I am about it.

I’ve been trying out random skin products for the longest but I think tatcha is here to stay in my permanent routine. Ps to the wonderful Tatcha team, I know yall are trying to promote recycling with the prodcuts and I appreciate that.

but for people who bought full size products for awhile and don’t have much recycling options in the area, could we request future product in a biodegradable/small bag to just put back into our full size product containers? I mostly ask this because I bought the Limited addition water cream and I love the packaging of it and would absolutely hate to get rid of it once the product in it runs out.

I am 54 years old and this has been a nice lotion to use on my face. I loved it even more when Clinique created the ID line to enhance the Dramatically different line. The moisturizing lotion is very hydrating but as I’ve gotten older and started developing some lines and wrinkles, it really doesn’t do much to firm the skin, but it does hydrate nicely.

I have tried Clinique’s serums and wrinkle correcting creams, but they are so harsh and strong on my face, so when they came out with the ID line for lines and wrinkles I was very happy to try it and pleasantly surprised how wonderful it worked.

It did not irritate my skin and I could visibly see a very noticeable reduction in the lines and wrinkles on my face. It was a total game changer and I just loved it! It gently firmed my skin without irritating it and I was absolutely devastated when I went to replenish my Dramatically Different lotion and ID product for lines and wrinkles, only to find out that the ID line has been discontinued!! So far two things that I love from Clinique that are gentle but truly work, have been discontinued just in the last few months.

Clinique also discontinued the Smart Night Custom Repair Cream which was very gentle on my skin. What are you doing Clinique? Why are you discontinuing products that actually work??? Please bring back the ID line for lines and wrinkles.

It is such a wonderful product that is gentle and works. Not everybody can use your new recently launched Smart Clinical line. I have used Clinique for over 25 years and I have always been happy to try your new products, but this new Smart line in the purple containers are way to harsh.

I am so disappointed that you discontinued the ID line for lines and wrinkles. Please consider bringing it back again.

I’ve been using this moisturizer for the past 30 years. I consider it more along the lines of a slightly richer “emulsion”, for those of you who are familiar with Japanese/Korean beauty routines. What is standout about this moisturizer is it’s absorption.

It doesn’t sit on top of your skin. I have dry, combination skin and I put it on after softener. It really does keep your skin moisturized and it’s very lightweight. You don’t need much and it’s fragrance free, and hypoallergenic-as I have sensitive skin and can react very badly to fragrance.

You need to let it set in and absorb for a couple of minutes, but afterwards it’s easy to apply sunscreen. I find many sunscreens drying to I always play this before. Also, it’s the perfect way to protect your skin when you’re training your face to accept retinol.

You moisturize with this then out the retinol afterwards and it really helps to help with redness and flaking while still getting the benefits of your retinoid. It’s also amazing for thinning out your foundation and getting it to absorb into your skin to look more like a no make-up make-up look.

I don’t find foundations moisturizing even when they say they are, and mixing it with the Clinique helps with that plus it gives you a very natural application. If you have a face powder and need a quick foundation, mixing this moisturizer with a bit of powder gives you a really nice moisturizing sheer cover.

It’s an amazing makeup remover, I’ve used it to take off my eye makeup when I’ve run out of remover, and I like it because it leaves the skin moist. So, I can’t say enough good things. It has stood the test of time for me and I use different and heavier moisturizers and creams but I always use this as an emulsion in my routine.

to start this off i have VERY sensitive skin, almost anything i put on my face makes me breakout. I stopped using moisturizer a few months ago because every time i would use it i would get a breakout immediately, i basically lived with a never ending breakouts.

i stopped using moisturizer all together and would only use it when wearing makeup which i dont wear very often. Anyways, my face became extremely dry so i went on the hunt for a moisturizer that would actually do something good for my skin and then i came across this.

i got the 50ML tub and for the brand, ingredients and overall product i believe the price is fair. This moisturizer is fairly thick so a little goes a LONG way, i barely have to use any to moisturize my whole face well.

This didnt give me a breakout at all, and had quenched my extremely dry skin literally overnight. Its only been 3 days and ive already noticed a huge difference in my skin. This moisturizer even out my skin tone, didnt cause a breakout, even CLEARED my previous acnebreakouts, gave my skin a nice, dewy glow and made my face super soft.

I highly recommend this moisturizer to anyone with sensitive skin and issues with breakouts Not to mention is also sits beautifully under makeup, it makes my foundation look glorious. I will never stop buying this moisturizer.

This product has quickly become a holy grail for me. I purchased my first, and went with the Limited Edition Gratitude Size (2. 5 fl oz) and within a week, knew I needed to buy a second! The packaging is very attractive periwinkle blue accented by pretty purple flowers with a gold product scoop and scoop holder on the cap.

When you take off the cap, there is a protective reusable plastic insert with a convenient tab for ease of removal. The cream itself is also a lovely shade of light blue. The scent is very herbal and pleasant.

This moisturizer is amazing for extremely dry skin like mine. Nutrient-rich Japanese Purple Rice provides antioxidants to help protect skin and restore balance. Okinawa Algae and hyaluronic acid help skin retain water to stay moisturized and nourished while replenishing the skins barrier, and a lovely blend of botanical extracts and oils help enhance and moisturize skin while providing a beautiful, dewy glow.

I have extremely dry skin, especially in the harsh mean winters. I have been searching high and low for a good face cream that doesn’t irritate my skin but truly provides deep nourishment and moisture.

 The Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream checks all of those boxes and is also a certified clean and cruelty-free product.  I am able to use this product in the morning by applying a light layer before putting on makeup, and it helps keep my skin and makeup from forming dry patches throughout the day.

 At night, I apply a slightly thicker layer before bed, but a tiny bit goes a LONG way! The little scoop they provide allows you to pick up the perfect amount to cover face, neck, décolletage, and the back of the hands as well! The ONLY reason I have marked this four stars instead of five is because of the price: though I feel the Gratitude size is worth it, I feel that Tatcha products are over-priced in general.

Another point I would like to include is that this product is not for everyone because I know that the scents and some of the ingredients can be too harsh for some people, especially those with extremely sensitive skin.

Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream Plumping Hydrating Moisturizer 25 Oz/ 75 Ml.

My skin feels so good and soft since using the Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Moisturizer. I have tried different moisturizers over the past couple years with never results like this as I would have irritation as the different lines would be either too rich, have properties that would cause breakouts or even worse dry my skin out even more.

My skin has changed in the past five years from oily combination screen to dry rosacea break outs and some fine lines. I tried the cleanser from this line with the combination of this moisturizer but found the cleanser stripped moisturizer from my skin so for me it was not a good combination.

My skin was just ok but didn’t feel great and felt dry. I really loved this moisturizer though and knew there must be a cleanser that is milder but yet soothing for my acne rosacea skin that would be complimentary with this moisturizer.

I lucked out as after experimenting using CeraVe SA cleanser and the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream moisturizer found it was a winning combination. Must be the ceramides & salicylic acid in the cleanser that keeps the skin blemish free.

The Tatcha moisturizer works beautifully after I cleanse my skin as it gives the bonus moisturizing plumping properties. My husband complimented my skin and and that made me feel so good that it is noticeable.

I’m happy as my skin feels healthy and youthful again.

I’ve received this product as a trail size in the birthday sample kit. My skin is on the dry side. I’ve also been introducing retinal to my skin care regimen which adds on to the dryness. I’ve tried 3 different kinds of moisturizers (farmacy, laneige, drmtlgy) they was not hydrating enough.

I’ve also tried Clinique dramatically hydrating jelly and cerave which seems to help somewhat. With this cream being my last resort, I’ve tried it and it just soaked into my skin and my skin felt incredibility hydrating.

It has been months since my skin felt completely hydrated. It does leave a super dewy look. A little really does go a long way. I feel like too much can contribute to pore clogging which I haven’t experienced.

It looks well under my skin tint moisturizer but 1st allow this to settled into your skin before make up application. The reason why I removed a star is because I am not a fan of jar packing (although the packing is absolutely stunning), I do not like the the last 5 irritating ingredients at the bottom of list (listed on the packaging and tatcha website) which are: alcohol, fragrance, citral, limonene, and linalool.

Although these ingredients do not irritated my skin personally, but overtime with repeated usage, I do not know what kind of affects this will have on my skin. The fragrance is light and has a spa like smell.

It is not overpowering and it do not linger. However the facial wash is quite strong. I’ve purchased this full size and will continue to use until otherwise my skin dislikes it.

I am writing this review as someone who has NOT tried the old formula. I think it goes without saying that reformulations can be beyond disappointing for those who loved a product exactly as it was (I relate with different products).

However, I can only review this as a stand-alone. I like the packaging in some ways, but I agree with those who are disappointed (especially in that this was apparently formerly in glass packaging). While the aesthetic of this current packaging is appealing, I really think it would be best for Laneige to at LEAST figure out how to make this a refillable system.

We need less plastic for the sake of this planet! As for the cream, I like the texture. It’s that unique light/spreadable consistency that still feels quite hydrating. Lovely under makeup and/or sunscreen as it sinks into skin rapidly, but leaves it feeling nourished and soft.

Laneige is highlighting their own form of hyaluronic acid (looks the same on the INCI) which is interesting but hard to speak of long term results. In the short term, I do feel this gives a plumping result on my skin.

The smell is a little strong to my nose, but perhaps that is because I’m used to fragrance-free skincare products, and this contains fragrance. Overall, I’d give it 4 stars in comparison to other options at Sephora.

The texture is actually really nice IMO, but the scent and packaging lose it some points.

I have been using the deep-clean cleanser, Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Exfoliating Toner, Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser, Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Serum & the Water Sleeping Mask. I can honestly say after trying so many skin products (some very expensive) that I have finally found a brand that actually works! It doesn’t take long to start working either! Despite having microdermabrasion, I had bad black heads on my nose & chin, but since using the cleanser & toner they’ve all but gone! The cleanser & toner are so effective, yet aren’t harsh on your skin or moisture sapping like other products I’ve used.

I suffer with Rosacea on my cheeks. This used to be hot, uncomfortable/sometimes painful & visibly bright red. This was obviously embarrassing for me. Since using Laneige it’s no longer an issue, as my cheeks are no longer bright red or hot.

My Mum & boyfriend have also visibly noticed the improvement. I have also noticed that the scarring/dark spots around my mouth & chin area (from monthly period spots) have all but gone. I’m also yet to have a flare up since using Laneige! The serum is absolutely divine & feels like silk on your skin.

It’s my favourite product! The cream moisturiser, sleeping mask & the serum are all beautifully moisturising without being oily & they soak into your skin easily. Honestly hand on heart cannot recommend these products enough! 10/10 5*.

Gave my confidence back and I feel like it saved my life. I’ve never had skin problems, so imagine at 41 how I freaked out as I woke up one morning and out of nowhere my face, legs, buttocks, arms, back, breast and stomach were all inflamed and itching uncontrollably.

For days I used calamine lotion and other topicals to stop the itching and flare ups. Washed everything and cleaned the entire room. About 4 days later I finally stopped itching and now everywhere the flare ups were, there were now dark black patches.

Days later they started developing on my face and dark circles underneath my eyes. My entire forehead and both cheeks were tight and shiny like leather. The feel was completely different from the other spots all over my body.

I was at a loss for words. No idea where this came from but it had to be some allergic reaction. I had just gotten over pneumonia that lasted 2 months. So maybe this was a side effect. I’ve read that some rare cases cause skin condition but why the week I was cleared from having it.

So maybe that wasn’t it! Anyway I applied lotion 3-4 times a day and Vaseline numerous times a day only to have small relief from the chaffing and tightness of the spots last only about 2 hours. Valentine’s weekend my fiancé had planned a vacation to Orlando, little does he know I wanted to cancel.

I was afraid the sun and hear would only make it worse and afraid that he would look at me differently. I reluctantly went alone using Vaseline on my face every few hours and kept my body covered wearing pants.

After 3 days, I said that’s enough I have to do something about this that’s different. Had him to stop by Walmart and went in and analyzed the products. Googled as I was in the store and settled on Cerave Moisturizing Cream and Cerave healing ointment.

Went to the hotel room a shower and applied the ointment to my face and Moisturizing Cream on my body. Telecaster again that night and the next morning you wouldn’t believe the difference it made. Plus it lasted for hours.

I continued this regimen and 30 hours later the leather on my face was no longer there it was only a small amount of chaff. My body was also healing and the dry patches weren’t nearly as dry. I continued for 3 more days and my face was now completely normal, so I switched to using the moisturizing cream with just a dab of ointment on my face for a couple more days then resulted to just Moisturizing Cream for my face and body.

2 weeks later, I’ve still seen nothing but improvements and my skin clearing up. The old skin where all the dark spots were and chaffed spots are now almost completely peeled and replaced with new skin.

Healthy, radiant and bright like before. I will continue using Cerave and researching their other products and see what’s the best way to maintain even after I’m completely in the clear from this. Cerave has given me the confidence I needed back and I am a lifetime supporter!.

To preface, I’m a 19yo female with normal skin that leans more dry in the winter and oily in the summer. I am acne prone and have recently finished six months of an acne medication. I have used this before and during my treatment, and will continue to use it as long as it’s made! When I’m doing my skincare, I typically alternate between using a salicylic acid toner, a retinol, a niacinamide serum, and a hyaluronic acid serum (depending on what my skin needs).

If I’m using my toner, I apply the toner to clean, dry skin and then apply this moisturizer on top. If I’m using my retinol or either serum, I mix them into this moisturizer and apply it as one concoction onto damp skin.

When I’m moisturizing my body, I apply it while my body is still wet coming out of the shower. I also use this moisturizer as a prep for my makeup! Overall, I absolutely love this moisturizer! It is basic in a good way! It has a gentle, non-scented formula that I can use on my face and body.

It looks great under makeup and always keeps my skin hydrated. This moisturizer sinks in perfectly without leaving behind a greasy, oily, or sticky residue. My skin can also breath through this moisturizer, which I’ve never found in a moisturizer that simultaneously checks my other boxes! Another great feat, it’s drugstore pricing in simple/functional packaging.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for a classic moisturizer!.

Amazing cream! I use this in place of a night cream or on days that my skin feels dry and needs an extra boost. It’s highly moisturising and non irritating, which is perfect for sensitive skin. Love that there is no unnecessary added fragrance either.

Can be used on both your body and face. It’s one of those products that actually does what it says and works so much better than high end products. If you follow Dr Dray on Youtube then you will already know that she also recommends this cream a lot as well, especially for people using retinoids.

I’ve been applying it alongside my Differin gel to combact dryness from it’s use. After washing my face, I rub in a thin layer of this cream onto my damp skin (to lock in moisture) and follow with Differin after it’s dry.

Using it in this way as suggested by Dr Dray reduces the risk of irritation, but still allows the retinoid to be effective. Even if you are using it on it’s own, the Cerave Cream will work brilliantly to soothe and soften your dry skin.

It has great ingredients including ceramides which improve skin hydration. I have dehydrated combination skin and this has helped so much to repair my skin barrier along with following a good skincare routine.

You really have to try it to believe it!.

I have ultra sensitive, reactive and acne prone skin with occasional eczema flare ups and I learned the hard way that, contrary to FAB’s claims, this moisturizer is not meant for skin like mine. I bought it a few years ago and almost immediately after applying it for the first time, I felt a tingling, then burning sensation, across almost my entire face; my skin then flushed red and felt warm to the touch.

A few painful minutes later, I had to wash my face and apply my regular moisturizer because the reaction didn’t fade. I tried it again a few days later but experienced the same thing. I even bought this again a few months ago, thinking I must have done something wrong because so many people love it, but no; I had the same reaction this time as well.

Because I’ve had very sensitive skin almost all my life, I know which ingredients to avoid based on past reactions but I blame myself for accepting the brand’s claims and not checking the ingredients list carefully.

Had I done so, I wouldn’t have purchased this all as this contains eucalyptus oil, a fragrant essential oil that serves no purpose other than to cause irritation. While not everyone will react to essential oils, they’ve caused some of the worst reactions I’ve had and they don’t belong in products made specifically for those with sensitive skin.

Either FAB needs to stop claiming this is a moisturizer that even the most sensitive, distressed and eczema prone skin can use OR remove the eucalyptus oil altogether. I personally don’t recommended this moisturizer at all but, for those that do want it, I suggest patch testing, at the very least.

I’m so glad I bought a tester/sample size. It has silicone in it, so it will pill- especially if you use any other products that have silicone. Even with the most simple routines, no actives and just a serum or an oil it pills.

A lot. Creates this gunk on your cheeks and jawline mixing with other ingredients in your routine. I keep it pretty ‘clean’ when it comes to my products and nothing else I use makes my face sticky, pill or any of that annoying stuff.

This product though? I rarely experience it not pilling or, worse, turning into sludge just after using a couple of my pricey products that I feel are almost wasted when I use this over them. Especially when you’re paying a dollar or more per ml, would rather go a superior brand with cleaner ingredients.

I just bought kiehls ultra because I’ve enjoyed that in the past. I bought this because I have dry, sensitive skin. I need lots of moisture. I’ve found it’s best to rely on more than just a moisturiser for the amount of moisture I need so I incorporate face oils – especially in cooler months – like rose hip, vitamin e oils and I’ve just bought face hero so will be back with a review on that.

I usually really struggle in winter but the face oils with a good moisturiser, regular hyaluronic acid use and not going overboard with actives is key for me.

I received this product complimentary from First Aid Beauty to review and give my honest opinions. This ultra repair cream has a rich thick balm texture. It is emollient without being greasy or heavy.

It is suitable for all skin types but is designed to hydrate dry parched skin and is safe for sensitive skin. It is formulated with collodial oatmeal, shea butter, allantoin, ceramides and FAB’s antioxidant booster.

These ingredients work together to moisturise and soothe the skin. The tub says to apply from head to toe once or twice daily. I found that this was perfect for moisturising my body as it didn’t leave my body feeling sticky like some creams do.

It took some rubbing in to get rid of the white cast, but once it’s worked into the skin it absorbs quickly. I did feel a bit of tingling on my skin, which I assume is from the eucalyptus oil and I can smell a slight hint of it in the cream.

I was surprised to find that it also worked well for my face. It layered well on top of my serums and absorbed into my skin. My face felt nice and moisturised and this got rid of my dry patches. However, because of the slight tingling sensation, I stopped using this on my face because I have quite sensitive skin.

Therefore, this has become my designated body cream.

This is the first Kiehl’s product I’ve ever tested. I received this as a part of a sample kit from Sephora. I am one to never say no to trying out a new moisturizer, especially with my acne treated DRY skin.

My first impression was minimal – there is not much to go by from the packaging other than that it’s a facial cream, so I guess there is a lot of brand recognition with Kiehl’s that I’m probably unfamiliar with as I would never notice this on a store shelf.

Right off the bat I could tell that this is definitely one of those creams that really is “ultra” heavy and “ultra” moisturizing. This did not absorb quickly and did leave a slight sheen to my skin. 30 minutes later my skin still feels a bit moist, but not sticky or tacky.

I did love the smell of this product as I was applying it to my face – though this isn’t technically a fragranced product. It smelled like a clean sheet of parchment or watercolor paper to me, and it was oddly satisfying.

I have severe dryness under my mouth and nose, and this product has more than enough hydration power to combat those flakes. Would I use this as a daily cream? Probably not. This cream is so concentrated that it almost feels like a treatment, or mask.

It completely saturates your skin and does not dry up at all. For daily use, I prefer a moisturizer that absorbs a bit more, leaving less “dew” on the surface. This moisturizer is meant to strengthen your skin barrier and retain moisture with Squalane and Glycerin.

There is also something called Glacial Glycoprotein in this which helps balance the moisture levels in your skin. I think this will serve me best as a targeted cream for my extremely dry areas, as the results are instant for rehydrating your dry patches.

Other than that, this runs a bit heavy for my normal skin.

if you love Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream Moisturizer, you’ll love their Ultra Facial Cream SPF 30. as a young woman, I am regularly bombarded with information on how to take care of my body long term. while most of it is crap (let’s be honest), protecting your skin from UV rays with SPF is undeniably beneficial.

I’m a long-term user of the ultra facial cream moisturizer–there’s just nothing else that compares–but I wanted to make the switch to a daily facial moisturizer with SPF, and Kiehl’s is the BEST. please note the consistency is each face cream IS different.

the moisturizer is closer to a dense-whipped cream type feel (consistent with most facial moisturizers I’ve tried throughout my life), and the one with SPF reminds me more of, well, sunscreen. as a result, when I first opened the jar, my initial thought was “I’m not going to like this”.

I tried it anyway and am enamored. I LOVE how hydrating it makes my skin feel and how dewy it makes my skin look. I anticipated a break-in period where my skin was like, whoa! but it never came. there was an effortless transition from the moisturizer to the one with SPF (i.

e. , no breakouts, no strange marks, literally nothing but better looking skin with sun protection). it should be noted, also, that in order for SPF to be effective, it must be used alllllllllllll over the facial skin (and neck!) and applied every few hours throughout your day.

I use a substantial amount every morning and make sure to coat my face from the corners of my hairline, over my eyelids, my upper lip, all over my cheeks and forehead and chin, over my jawline and covering my neck.

this may sound crazy but I honest to goodness have seen an improvement in my skin. I’m not sure what magic Kiehl’s has put in this, but I highly HIGHLY recommend you give it a go.

This is genuinely the best moisturizer i’ve tried to date, and i’ve been around the block. I got this as a free sample last year (I don’t remember if it was from Sephora though) and after using up the tiny container it was an INSTANT re-buy (I got the 28mL).

The first thing about it is the lack of smell: It literally, and when I say literally, I mean it, has not a hint of any fragrance or scent (not even that plastic-ey smell some fragrance-free products have) which is amazing for my migraine prone self.

Then, the texture! It’s smooth, does not leave any traces, any gross oily feeling and no dryness. It really is lightweight but that girl HYDRATES like crazy: I was able to go both summer (it’s light enough, and does not sweat off your face or leave a film over it) and winter, which leads me to my last point: its’ efficacy.

Every single winter, I struggle with super red, dry patches on my chin and cheeks from how dry it is outside, and i’m so so so glad to say that this year was my first them thanks to this moisturizer.

Actual lifesaver. It feels good under makeup, under your mask, with no makeup on, in the sun, in the cold, that ish is universal frfr (it also does not block your pores or make pimples worse, at least for me, it’s super gentle).

The only downside would be the price, since it’s unaffordable for most regular students to use as a daily moisturizer, but overall, I’m satisfied.

I genuinely have not be able to use anything else on my face, but now I am at a loss. I have been purchasing tubs and tubes of this since 2018. I would say I’ve spent thousands on Ultra Repair Cream over the years because it’s all I can use.

I noticed about 7 months ago when I received my new tub in the mail it said “no artificial fragrance” as opposed to “fragrance free” like it used to… I was afraid to try anything else, so I used it, all year I’ve had random rashes and bumps on my face.

Sometimes I’ll get in bed and my face will just feel hot and itch. I on a whim decided to read reviews wherever this is sold today… and my constant skin irritation is all starting to make sense. WHY WHY WHY would FAB change the formula to this cult moisturizer.

This is heartbreaking for me, no exaggeration… I someone who has struggled so intensely with their skin. A product and company I trusted for my sensitive, dry, acne prone skin added wholly unnecessary essential oils to their main product marketed towards people with troubled skin.

I genuinely upset and feel sick that I slathered this all over my face today. I would go take a shower and wash it off, but I don’t even have an alternative product to moisturize with on hand. Please, please change the product back to what it was.

I feel duped. There was no announcement, no reasoning. Nothing. Change it back PLEASE. You’ve lost what would have been a lifelong customer.

I dug up this picture from 2019 and found several more that I had taken during that time because I recommended this moisturizer to my friends so much. From 2017 to 2019 I only ever used this moisturizer in my skincare routine, and I never regretted it.

It was cooling, soothing, absorbed fabulously, and never felt heavy on my skin, which was congested and dehydrated at the time. Since then my skin’s needs have changed and this gel doesn’t aid me in the way it did.

My preferred delivery method for hyaluronic acid is now The Ordinary’s Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2%. However, I still confidently recommend this gel to friends and family who could benefit from it, and most who’ve tried it have loved it so much that it is now part of their regular routine.

One extremely important thing to note is that any product with hyaluronic acid like this one needs to be applied while the skin is still wet, because the function of hyaluronic acid is to bind to existing water molecules and act as a humectant.

In general it’s better not to dry your skin before using any moisturizer in order to allow it to seal in the moisture. Those who dry their skin before moisturizing also tend to use a washcloth or towel to do so, and unless you literally deep clean these cloths right before each use, they will quickly and easily become breeding grounds for bacteria, and also collect dust and other particles that could irritate your skin or clog your pores.

It pays to understand product usage and your skin type. I have an over-all dryer complexion so I lotion my body daily and moisturize my face every 2-3 days. 1. The product tells the user to utilize AFTER HAVING CLEANSED YOUR FACE.

Not following these steps will result in clogged dirty pores and more acne. 2. You CAN use this product for targeted dry spots you just need to use less. This product, although appears to not contain a lot, goes a long way with just enough to cover your index finger.

You really don’t need a lot or else again, you’re caking your face and over-moisturizing it. This will also cause acne. Maybe if your skin is peeling on your face you may want to use a little extra but otherwise, very little is needed to cover your face.

3. You should not be exfoliating daily. Maybe once a week. If you exfoliate daily then use this product you will get acne. Plain and simple. You’re opening your pores, jamming moisture into them, and NOT expecting acne? Come on now.

Wash your face gently, exfoliate weekly. Moisturize every 2-3 days. Patience is key and you most likely won’t get immediate results from *any* product sold for $30. 4. Results. I could feel a difinitive difference almost immediately.

Product is in fact lightweight and I only needed a 1/4 of a dime size to cover my face. Again, a little goes a long way. Within a week and a half (because it’s not meant to be used daily unless you’ve got severe dryness), My face didn’t just FEEL healtheir it looked fuller, more hydrated and when I get my shark week is around the only time I’ll see a baby surprise zit on my face (this is normal, it’s called hormones silly).

I feel as though individual’s expectations are so high. I assure you that you’ll never find “the golden product” that works year-round. During the winter I won’t be using it because for whatever reason, my face is not nearly as dry.

If you’re looking for a fix-all raise your budget to $80-$150 and consult a dermatologist. Or get botox.

I prefer a lighter gel, and this is it. My FAVORITE moisturizer. If Neutrogena stopped producing this product, I would die. This moisturizer is amazing and very light. I found that it sets better on the skin if you apply it while your face is damp.

I use it during the summer and winter and it just makes my face feel amazing and refreshed. I struggle with oily skin if I don’t mositurize and this moisturizer leaves no oily residue on my skin at all because it’s water-based.

I was introduced to this product by my boyfriend who’s dermatologist recommended it to him when he was put on Accutane to treat the side-effect of extremely dry skin. I was hesitant at first because I deal with oily skin, while he was having issues with dry skin but it worked amazingly on both of us.

This is my holy grail. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little more affordable for how little product is given!!! I’ve had to buy it about 3 times this school year and the price on it keeps going up.

I’m not particularly wowed by this product, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I do think this moisturizer lives up to its claims – matte finish, good for oily/combo skin types. My skin used to run on the oily side until I really got into skincare.

Now my skin is more normal, though still acne prone. I’ve been using this moisturizer daily, AM PM. it does the job, but I don’t mind a more hydrated look, hell, even feeling more hydrated would be nice too – something I’m not really getting with this moisturizer.

If you like a more matte moisturizer, then this one is for you. Texture reminds me of a gel-cream, so not the sticky jelly texture like some gel moisturizers. The design of the cap also isnt the best.

one of the two attachments broke after only 2 uses. they’re too wide set apart from each other compared to other squeeze tubes that I use. Many of my products already contain the same actives – ceramides, niacinamide, etc.

That, plus not being super impressed by the hydration, I would pass on this product.

I have used Olay for so many years because it made my skin incredible. However, a few years ago everything changed and each Olay product I bought gave me disappointing results. I kept buying different Olay products thinking that maybe the ones from Amazon were counterfeits but when I verified their authencity from Olay customer care they confirmed that only one of the products which was a collection of 3 travel serums was fake and verified the other micro sculpting cream as being authentic.

However, even the other geniune Olay products created a burning sensation on my skin within hours of use. I refused to believe that the Olay products were the cause and thought it was something else I was using.

Anyway I changed all my skin products including the Olay and my skin calmed down and became normal. I then thought this was the perfect time to reintroduce Olay which I have always loved but the burning started all over again.

I do not know what Olay have reformulated their products with but it has changed my perception about Olay. My skin started burning again today after using the micro sculpting cream last night and luckily my sqalane oil was able to soothe my skin and calm it down.

I wasted so much money on these recent batches of Olay products.

I found this to be very thick, oily and sat on top of the skin even though I wash and prepare my skin beforehand. I found on the first use I developed hives near the more sensitive skin near the eyes, mouth and nose.

I stopped using for a few days and tried again but ended up removing the product from my skin as it felt sticky and itchy. Tried for a third time and found my skin extremely dry, red and very unhappy in the morning.

It looked like sunburn therefore used aloe vera to soothe it. It took several days for my skin to calm down and found it was not remotely moisturising. If anything it exacerbated fine lines due to dryness.

This product was so irritating (fragrance free) it turned me off using their products. It was expensive, considering I can’t use the product. I didn’t read the comments first, just trusted the name, but now wishing I had read them and saved the money.

I do not recommend.

Its has become part of my nightly routine. I start with a clean face by using Olay water-activated dry cloths. I use the 5-in-1 cleaning, make-up remover, scrub, mask, and toner. You do not even have to rinse it but I do rinse the cloth one time when Im done and wipe some of it off my face.

I have sensitive skin and don’t want to leave that much of anything on my face just before I add my night cream. I rotate every other night between Olay’s purple jar of Reginerest Retinol 24+Peptide.

I love this stuff. Make made my skin so soft just after one night. The next night I repeat the cleansing pad. Let my face dry and then use the burgabdy red jar of Olays Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream, I can do all of this while watching my fav show on TV, I look forward to my routine, It feels like spoiling myself.

My skin looks incredible after only a month. I went to put on my foundation the other night and after one blot over one spot I stop and was surprised that was all I needed for the evening out. I’m thinking of adding the vitamin C.

I received a free sample of this product in exchange for an honest review. I am in my late twenties, with combination skin, and suffer from random acne breakouts (mask wearing, hormones, etc. ), it’s also worth noting that I reside on the east coast of Canada, as our weather plays a fair sized part in my review.

I struggle to find a moisturizer that gives me the feeling of being moisturized without being greasy. Normally, in the winter months, it’s damp and cold, so I opt for a heavier moisturizer (think Belif’s “bomb” line), and when I need something a bit lighter (but equally as quenching) I reach for something along the lines of PTR’s aqua cloud line.

This combination usually works wonders for my skin, but truthfully it’s a little too much in our hot and humid summers (those humectants create a slip and slide!). I’ve found a quality “summer” moisturizer in the Glow Recipe’s oil-free moisturizer, but the truth is it’s still not always enough for my dry areas (but excellent for my oily areas!) for all day wear.

Now, with Clinique’s sample I was able to try every day for 7 days (not changing anything else in my skincare routine). This moisturizer is a lightweight gel, and it absorbs very, very quickly into the skin, there is no residue or shininess left behind, it’s almost a “matte” finish.

Your skin feels silky smooth and looks great (opposite of the “high gloss” look of Glow’s moisturizer). This moisturizer didn’t break me out, and allowed me to layer products with ease (serums, sunscreen, etc.

) and no piling, which was a great bonus. Where it fell short for me, was towards the end of the day (12hrs+) I could see some dry areas. My skin still felt silky smooth, but it didn’t have the hydration punch I was hoping for the length of time it claimed.

I will be purchasing and adding it to my summer bag, as it is a quality moisturizer, but I have realistic expectations for the length of wear with the product now. If your skin is like mine, you should definitely try this!.

Brilliant. Thick gel texture, no scent, no colour in a good glass jar. Affordable. No mineral oil/petroleum byproducts. Stuff works. Having combo skin, usually plenty of oil production, huge pores, prone to blackheads and whiteheads and dehydration from use of actives (acids, retinol), my skin is always confused, gets even tight at times, and needs good hydrator and soother without making skin oily and suffocated.

This hydrator just does it all: hydrates, soothes, plumps, restores my skin barrier to health. Best part: finish is not oily shiny skin (that I get from all but one moisturizers I used so far, that is many many), feels quenching and hydration stays.

When I first started using this product, I was deeply thrown off by the strong scent. I purchased hoping for a rose scent, but it skews much more towards aloe. I did not love it, and also was thrown off by the inability to use it with other products – I found that the cream would react negatively with my cc creams, foundations or concealers and created a pilling effect, most noticeable around my cheek bones and jawline.

All that said, it made a HUGE difference in the quality of my skin tone, improving my dryness, redness and overall texture. Either with time I got more used to the scent, or it became less overpowering throughout the six months I used the product.

I also transitioned from using this product on days were I planned to wear a full face of makeup, to only using this on days I worked from home, or knew I didn’t plan to wear makeup. Again, the benefits of how this hydrated my skin outweighed my inability to layer with makeup – and I really consider this product more of a once in a while deep hydrating lotion, as opposed to an everyday option for myself.

I had purchased the mini size initially (which is what I try to do for all new skin products that offer this option) and I intend to repurchase at the full size. I recommend trying out the mini size first and seeing if this product is a good match for you, before investing in the larger size.

). I have not found this to be the case at all, AS LONG AS you let it soak in and don’t apply too much! Just apply less than you think, and give it like 15 min to sink in. I have put sunscreen over it every day and had zero pilling issues.

I’m seriously amazed that it made me glow on the first use. So much so that an esthetician took one look at my face and asked if I started something new because my skin looked so lovely. I bought the sample size but will absolutely purchase the full size once it’s out.

It is incredibly thick and only takes a small amount of product to cover the face and neck so the jar should last a while. The cream takes a minute to absorb due to its consistency, but once it does my skin looks immediately plumped and hydrated and feels softer to the touch.

It does leave the skin feeling very dewy and, in my case, a bit too dewy. Since I have combination/oily skin, this moisturizer is actually a bit too heavy for my skin. However, I can still see the positive effects of this cream and can definitely say that, after using it as a night cream, my skin stayed hydrated for a while.

While I’m not sure that it was quite 72 hours before the effects wore off, my skin was definitely hydrated all throughout the next day. I have actually been using a basic, hydrating routine lately to repair my skin barrier and I definitely think that this moisturizer has helped in that regard.

I can see soothing benefits from the moisturizer right after application. The only negative thing that I have experienced about this product is the thickness and consistency being too heavy for my skin, but that is a personal issue and would not affect everyone.

I can definitely see this moisturizer being very good for drier to normal skin types.

IšverstiShow in original languageI realized that somehow I’ve never gotten around to writing a review on this. It’s time to correct that: I’ve been using this moisturizer for years—four and a half, to be exact.

I got it when it was first released in 2018, recently added in the new serum, and have decided I’ll use both until I leave this mortal coil. Now, it’s not like I haven’t tried other moisturizers; I’ll sometimes be wooed by an interesting formula or see a new release that looks like it could be great, only to regret it when my skin isn’t as soft, balanced, or smooth.

I inevitably find myself crawling back, because this formula is an actual goldmine. If you disagree, you haven’t seen the INCIDecoder breakdown on this thing. There is no dupe, no alternative, if that ingredient deep-dive makes your eyes sparkle like mine did.

Between the amino acids (it’s like they couldn’t pick, so they threw in all of them) and the *growth factor cocktail?!* Go ahead and check the prices on the SkinMedica, NeoCutis, Biopelle, and Bioeffect EGF serums and creams.

I’ll wait. I’ve used 3 of them and the Protini duo makes my skin just as flawless for less $$/oz. -Yes, I bought this with my own money (repeatedly. ) -Yes, I DO wait for VIB sales to stock up (I’ve got bills to pay.

) -No, I’m not incentivized in any way (but I wouldn’s say no!) I just really believe this moisturizer is worth its weight in gold, and feel genuinely sad for every person whose skin doesn’t tolerate it.

tl;dr – If this formula ever changes or is discontinued, I will go through ALL seven stages of grief.

IšverstiShow in original languageI love Drunk Elephant products. They are known for their cruelty free biocompatible products. All Drunk Elephant products can be mixed together. The polypeptide cream is amazing.

First off, I love their packaging. Their boxes are simplistic but beautiful made from recycled materials. The jar is a pump jar, opaque, to protect the actives from deteriorating from exposure to light.

The pump eliminates having to stick your fingers into the cream and possibly contaminating it with bacteria from your hands. The active ingredients include 9 Signal Peptide Complex, Pygmy Waterlily Stem Cell Extract, and Soybean Folic Acid Ferment Extract.

So peptides basically tell your body to produce more collagen. Not only increasing firmness in your skin polypeptides is also associated with deep hydration, smoothing, strengthening the skin barrier, and even healing damage from UV rays.

It is a gel like cream that absorbs fairly quick into your skin. There is no fragrance added or essential oils, and it’s also 100% vegan. My skin was pretty oily before I started using this, and it seems to have regulated itself, and isn’t producing as much oil.

after just a couple weeks my skin is smoother, the tone is even, I didn’t have as bad of a monthly hormonal breakout like I usually do. My is is so soft and the fine lines I’ve started to get between my eyebrows look much better.

Their appearance is much less noticeable, and I have an overall youthful glowy appearance. I can’t say enough good things about this product. It’s definitely a Holy Grail product and definitely worth the pricey tag.

I have very weird combo skin, normally oily, but pale and sensitive due to retinA, and breakout prone. I get oily everywhere except my cheeks, which get very dry half the year. I have tried both regular cream and the RICH cream, and I definitely feel that my skin loves the Rich one more.

It’s not like a heavy greasy cream, but it’s thick and rich, and I always want to take extra time to massage it into my face at night. It’s very unique. It’s unscented, nothing irritating in it, doesn’t burn or sting or cause any exfoliating.

I’ve gone through about 2 bottles in over a year, using mainly at night. If my skin happens to be really dry from retinA then i will use some before makeup or spot moisturize during the day. But typically I only use at night.

It spreads easy enough but still feels thick and doesn’t just disappear after you apply it. I would suggest shaking the bottle up every week. The oils in this don’t break me out like practically every other cream.

I feel like this adds a cushion to my skin at night, i use it before tretinoin prescription cream. And my skin feels protected and I wake up with more even skin tone every day. At first I bought the non-rich one thinking this would be too greasy for me, but ITS NOT GREASY! That being said, if you have extremely dry skin, you might want to try their facial oil over the top of this.

And always drink tons of water before and after bed because that’s the ideal time for your skin to repair itself. You can’t go to bed dehydrated and expect to wake up with glowing skin 8 hours later, you skin needs water even when you’re sleeping.

I truly believe in THE RICH CREAM and it is the main AB product I use. I have tried a couple others and I just bought the eye cream. So far this is my favorite and I hope they never change this formula.

But if they extend their line of skincare I will be happy to try new products. JUST DONT CHANGE THIS ONE.

I have a very problematic skin. I have a few severe allergies that often result in hives (unfortunately most often on my face and neck), I suffer with water retention (read – tired and puffy skin) and also there is the rosacea.

If that was not enough – I was born with KP… I am in my late thirties and when I skin last year started to show substantial sign of premature ageing I went crazy looking for something that will help my skin to reset the o’clock (or at least slow it down).

It was like lockdown has added me 10 years! I tried most of the high end brands without any major breakthroughs and then I read about the Rich Cream and I decided to try… I know some people wait weeks for the result but it was not the case for me.

I could look again with joy into the mirror after just a couple of days. My dull, dry dehydrated skin was glowing! I continue using AB rich cream and experimenting with other products. My friends notice as suddenly everybody comments how beautiful my skin is and how I still look like I was twenty something years old… my skin is radiant, more elastic, more even and fine lines vanished and smoothed.

And my skin feels happy and comfortable :-).

This cream is absolutely amazing it’s exactly what everyone says a little miracle in a jar. I originally got it as a sample in my Nordstrom order and I just saw such an immediate difference. What caught my eye the most was the wrinkles in middle of my eyebrows I hate them and no joke after first night I saw a slight difference that kept on improving and then I was out of my sample had to get it.

I look it up the price $$$ 😩 but I will say this it’s worth it. I will buy it again. I also have a ton of scarring texture and hypopigmentation which is different then hyperpigmentation it’s harder to get rid of and mine I never will but my goal is to just even it out best I can.

Isn’t that what we do in life best we can with what we got given 🤷‍♀️ Anyways it has made my complexion much better and it’s only been like a month. I do alternate it with another amazing cream the SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2-4-2.

Also a pricey face creme but if you have dry compromised skin it’s so worth it plus your skin is biggest organ skin n your body take care of it.
