This potting soil mix is made with: Coir Small Sponge Rock – Perlite Small Monterey Pine Bark Charcoal Fine Vermiculite Philodendron Imperial Potting Soil Mix by rePotme is a free draining mix that is ideal for all Philodendron plants.
The base of the potting mix is coir, imported from Sri Lanka, which is a clean, easy to use medium derived from coconut husk. Small sponge rock is then added to help break up the mix and add additional drainage.
Monterey Pine Bark and Charcoal benefit the soil, naturally releasing nutrients over time. Vermiculite will help the coir to ensure your Philodendron gets the optimal amount of water during each watering.
This mix is distinguished by what it doesn’t have in it, peat moss. Using premium ingredients in the absence of peat is key to getting rid of fungus gnats. Fungus gnats are attracted to peat moss, and almost all commercially available plant mixes are made with peat moss.
Crafted for the specific needs of indoor plants, this blend contains all-natural, regenerative ingredients that optimize drainage, deliver plant-boosting nutrients, and support a diverse community of beneficial fungi and microbes.
Completely animal by-product free potting soil mix. Works great for growing wheatgrass, barleygrass, microgreens and for potting soil for houseplants, garden plants and flowers. Available in 8 quart or 40 quart quantities.
Escallonia ‘Pink Princess,’ Escallonia x exoniensis ‘Fradesii’, makes a gorgeous backdrop or hedge with its glossy emerald foliage. Bold, pink flower clusters emerge primarily in spring and fall, although happy plants may intermittently bloom year round.
Growing up to 6′ tall, this upright evergreen is dense enough to provide a lovely privacy screen. Escallonia ‘Pink Princess’ can be grown in full sun to part shade and is also a fine shrub for foundation plantings along walls and fences, including those in coastal areas.
I was very skeptical ordering plants that had to be mailed to me, but the three Pink Princess Escallonia arrived in very good shape. Two were a little bent up, but not a single branch was broken or wilted.
I set them out in a gentle Texas rain and both straightened up somewhat, and I planted all three in a newly prepared bed after two days. I am very excited to see how these guys do, because I could not find any locally after a fairly exhaustive search.
At this point I give Greenhouse five stars and will look for other unusual varieties to order in the near future. Thanks so much!.
I ordered 3 Escallonia Pink Princess Plants and they arrive on time, well hydrated, and ready to plant. Two of the plants had a fungus on the leaves. I took photos and sent them to Greenhouse and received an email that the plants had fungus on the leaves.
Greenhouse has offered to send two new plants in the next month or two. I’m currently satisfied.

I Love the Miracle Grow for Roses. I had a Camellia at the front door that was growing well as far as height and foliage, but it never bloomed. Year after year, new foliage, but no blooms. Then one day I was gardening and planting some other plants with MG for Roses and had some left over.
I threw the remainder of the bag at the base of the Camellia to regenerate the soil a little. The next thing I knew, I few months later my Camellia had blooms all over it, gorgeous beautiful full blooms.
Now every year I make a point to give it a good dose of MG for Roses and it rewards me with tons of blooms. Thanks for a wonderful product!.
We used it to plant some yellow roses in our backyard. I had tried before to plant others with different soil and they did not fair nearly as well as with the Miracle-Gro Garden Soil for roses. Miracle-Gro keeps them blooming and looking beautiful all summer long.
Will not waste my money in the future on other soil for new rose beds. Sweepstakes entry.
I just bought my first bags of MG Rose Soil and I am very impressed with the texture, feel and smell. My roses are very happy after just 2 weeks. I am inspired to plant a new rose bed this year with this product.
Beautify your potted flowers with Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix. Our specially formulated mix will feed your plants for up to 6 months and protect against over and under- watering. It absorbs up to 33% more water than basic potting soil so your plants can remain hydrated.
Use it with indoor and outdoor container plants. Grows Plants Twice as Big.
Take your houseplants to the next level with this potting compost mix from Westland. Specially blended for houseplants the mix includes Seramis clay granules that cleverly absorb water and release it back to the plant when it’s needed most.
The blend also contains perlite to improve airflow and drainage helping to promote root development so your plants can suck up all the nutrition they need to stay healthy. It’s perfect for all sorts of indoor plants – even cacti and bottle gardens.
For the amount of product you are getting this is very expensive. Additionally this does not seem too be much different from all purpose compost. It has the same texture and drainage is poor with the mix holding on to water and becoming sticky.
The packaging promises added perlite and seramis but there honestly seems to be such a small amount of both that it would have no real benefit. If I’m honest I’d say it’s only a handful of each per bag.
I had to mix in quite a bit of additional perlite to get what I had expected. Also it came with a free carpenter ant which was not a welcome gift.
I bought this product and used it on a number of plants, only to notice when watering that white insects were coming out in the water! after having tried to wash out all the tiny with insects I hoped that this was ok.
but a while later my house has a infestation of gnats! never had any insect issues in my home before and now I am constantly fighting them. Even after swapping out the soil they are still around; not only do I have to but bug spray, gnat traps, new soil ( plus I have a left over bag of this soil that im afraid to open) this was a costly, frustrating and time consuming purchase- never again!.
I bought this product a couple of months ago, and repotted my orchid 2-3 months ago. It was full of tiny flies that are everywhere now. They love being in the way, fly onto my computer screen (working from home), but sometimes they just fly up into my nose to die there.
In many cases I find them dead in my tea or soup when left unattended. After 2-3 months now I noticed that I may have less around the house, however I still run into one or two every day. On the good side, my orchid seems to like it.
Orchids are beautiful plants with outstanding blooms making them a popular choice. Westland Orchid Potting Mix is a specially blended mix of bark and SERAMIS clay granules producing an open structured potting mix that allows free air flow and retains moisture.
The SERAMIS granules in this mix work by absorbing water and releasing it back to the plant when need as well as help to produce the perfect climate for your Orchids plant to thrive in. The pine bark in this mix enable airflow and drainage resulting in healthier root development and ultimatly a healthier plant producing more abundant and longer lasting flowers.
I am/was in the process of using a large glass Carboy and turning into a terrarium using assorted succulents and cacti plants. I had been looking for suitable soil that could be used inside the vessel and found this product.
The initial opinion was that this would be ideal and the amount 4 litres, would be ample. Sadly my calculations were way off course. The paltry 4litres of the soil supplied is nowhere near the amount required.
I will probably need at least a further 5 (maybe more) packets to have enough depth in the container. In my view I have paid well over the cost for this product, 20p of soil for a fiver,?? is not a good deal.
Even if I was looking to potting those plants on the contents of the packet, would not go very far. I am sure the soil/mix is of good quality but the costing needs to be adjusted. Over priced. Cannot recommend.
