20 Best Soap For Psoriasis Skin (2023 Updated)

Caution: Overpowering smell! And its not a fresh piney smell. With one bar of soap. I could smell the package when the postman walked up to deliver it. After I moved the bar from one room to another, the first room still smelled for awhile.

After awhile the smell, kind of like new tires, started to make me feel sick. It also has a California Proposition 65 warning I guess for dioxane? It seems to be ok in the shower, doesn’t irritate my skin.

I’m still giving it 3 stars because apparently some people use it to treat uncomfortable skin conditions, which is probably more important to them than the downsides.

I have struggled with pigmentation and acne issues since having kids. As a black woman I try my best to avoid bleaching agents. After years of dealing with adult acne and the dark spots in my face I finally had great results using retinol however I still had some issues with acne.

I bought this soap with no great expectations but as I have never tried sulphur and it was cheap. what was the harm? Best decision I ever made in terms of my skincare. After first use my skin felt so soft and smooth.

The scaling caused by the retinol quickly resolved. After the first week the active acne had dried and cleared. In all the years I have battled with my acne I have never had a spot fade that fast. My skin is now luminous and healthy.

I don’t need makeup at all.

Not only has this bar made my skin so clear, but it’s lasted me forever! I’ve had the same one for a year now and my skin is still just as amazing as it was when I first saw results. It is slightly drying, but this can be solved easily with a good moisturizer.

As some one who has struggled with life long skin issues discovering this soap was a true blessing. I like this soap for my psoriasis. I’ve tried many soaps and body washes, but none was like this. It helps exfoliate the plaques. Afterwards, my skin feels smoother and itches much less. It’s fragrance-free, but has a very faint strange smell to it, like medicine.

But I wear perfume after I dress, so the faint smell is not a problem.

I found it very moisturizing. Its like I used my dial soap & then soaped up with this and felt it really moisturized my dry skin.

the butter soap is awesome it lathers up and it feels just like your rubbing cream on your body when your washing your body i never did breakout from it so it must be good!!

I am always looking for skin products to help my funky sensitive skin– combination with bouts of rosacea, eczema, possibly fungal acne, and very congestion prone (with wrinkles too. ) I like this soap a lot.

I remove my makeup with another product, then use this DermaHarmony 5% Suulfur and 2% Salicylic Acid Soap to clean my pores and try to help with my skin issues. It does a good job of cleaning without overly drying, but I really can’t tell if it has helped any of my issues.

At least it hasn’t caused any negative reactions from my skin.

Bought for teenage son with problem acne and redness. This seems to have calmed down the redness and acne scars are fading after only a couple of uses. Hopefully it will continue to clear existing pimples and prevent more from coming.

He says it smells a bit odd but not unpleasant and he is very sensitive to smells.

I began using this soap some time ago after several years of having redness around my neck and my doctor telling me that a zinc product might help. I stopped for a short time and when I ordered it again, I realized again how well it really worked.

This soap is really helpful with the redness and the feeling of cleanliness after use ist awesome. I suggest using a face cloth or luffa for best results. I also recommend the new soap shampoo bar, again as one sweats redness can result, so this bar is again very helpful, It is con-caved shaped so it is easy to create lather for a great shampoo.

I ordered the lavender and got it along with a sample of the green bar. I think I will order the green bar next time, because I liked the scent of the green one a little better, but that is probably personal preference.

I am an African American woman with super oily skin and I’m truly surprised!!! I purchased this soap because I started breaking out about 2 weeks prior with a rash on my cheeks and forehead, and because of all the great reviews I read on Amazon.

com. The first night I used it my face felt HORRIBLE!!! The rash looked worse after the 1st usage. However, I did not give up because of all the great testimonials I read. The 2nd day, I used it in the morning, it didn’t feel as bad as it did the previous night, it just felt like nothing.

That night I used the Zinc soap a 3rd time. In about 30 minutes I felt a slight drying of my skin. Not too drying but just enough to matte my oily skin. It started feeling really smoothe and very soothed.

have had bad acne for the past years. Im in my early 30’s now. My acne is cystic acne mainly, and sits on my cheeks, and chin primarily. They are deep, red and take weeks to go away (if they ever do).

I have tried switching my laundry soap, multiple face washes, moisturizers, natural oils (like coconut ), my make up and many spot treatments. Some things would make the acne a bit better, but would never actually clear it up.

I saw some friends on FB talking about this soap. I found it here on amazon and this was the highest rated black soap I found. I figured, ” what do i have to lose? I’ve tried everything”. The price was also super reasonable.

The bar is very large and I have sliced off chunks to use. So far- I have been using this soap for exactly 1 month. Immediately, I noticed the redness decreased. Over several days, I noticed I had no new pimples developing.

The dry relief bar has honestly worked wonders for my skin. I’ve had terribly dry skin my whole life and I’ve tried everything but I also have sensitive skin so it tends to break out. This is the first product that I’ve used and haven’t gotten a break out.

I have dry combination skin with occasional breakouts on my chin area. The dry skin relief bar does wonders for my skin. It’s a fair price especially considering my skin looks glowy like I’ve just had a facial with each use.

It’s rare to find a product that contains salicylic acid but is also natural. Normally natural products don’t add salicylic acid beyond what’s contained in the plants used in the formula, and conversely, most products containing salicylic acid are not natural and are full of chemicals.

This product works amazing for bumpy skin, dandruff, etc.
