20 Best No Wipe Gel Top Coat (2023 Updated)

I purchased this product at Walmart. I was looking for a strong topcoat. I find this extremely beneficial to my nails. It stays on my nails days after it is applied. I’ve used it for about 2 months and this product has made my nails very strong.

After using it, for the first time in many years, I had to clip my nails as they were too long. I will be returning to Walmart to stock up on the product. Marielizabeth D.

Bought this base and top coat to use with the pink illuminating nail concealer. Prepared nails properly prior to application. (Sure there was no residual lotion or oil on the nail) Products went on so smoothly, dried quickly, looked beautiful! Actually felt like glass on my nails, I was so impressed! Received an email notifying me of a sale, and I started planning my next purchase since I was in love.

The next day I notice the polish had lifted off my nail, the start of a chip. Sure enough, this happened on other nails. Product lifted off, not chipped, reminiscent of a child’s first nail polish. So disappointed.

Such a beautiful start, and sad finish. Pretty pricey products for poor durability. Needless to say, I did not place that order for the next purchase.

For the most part, I really like this product! Realistically, a little goes a long way, but I’d probably repurchase this after its run out. My manicure still risks peeling off in the shower if I’m not careful, which is why I shaved off a star, but it totally works as a decent top coat.

Smoother and shinier formula than most top coats I’ve tried.

I bought this because it said it would make regular polish act like gel. I’m trying to grow my nails without acrylic or gel so I bought it. I hate it. My polish chipped the very next day! Nothing special about this topcoat.

Acts like any other topcoat regardless of cost. Disappointed.

I absolutely love this top coat! I need to purchase a new one because it’s almost done. The only thing I would recommend is have a top coat seperate for glitter polishes or powders glitters because mines is full of glitter because it get stuck on the brush.

This top coat after curing doesn’t feel sticky and gives super high shine!.

My all time favorite gel polish. I love not having to use a base or top coat because it saves time! My mani lasts for about 7-10 days with a Onedor top coat. I originally bought this because the Jamberry colourcure was recalled due to formula issues.

This product is definitely better and it doesn’t have any formula issues.

This is my favorite gel polish so far! I’m glad I found it. It’s one step, no base coat needed. Top coat isn’t necessary, but I always use one. There is no wipe after cure. The price is great. Get this product if you polish nails!.

This is a great set. I actually just ordered a second one. The base coat lasts I would say 2-3 weeks before chipping and that’s with little nail prep. It would last longer if you filed your nail more.

The top coat cures not tacky so it’s quick and easy.

Makartt top and base coat The base coat works well to keep nails on. You should definitely invest in a decent non acid primer if you’re planning to use the Makartt polygel. The top coat is like glass once it’s cured.

The shiniest top coat ever. Unlike other top coats, this one doesn’t ever lose its shine and you can’t see scuff marks from everyday wear and tear. Just make sure you don’t get it on the skin when you go to cure it.

It’ll harden and it’ll be hard to get off.

My absolute favorite brand for DYI nails! Started doing my own nails at home a little over a year ago, yes I have tried other brand and no they do not hold up as well as this one! Definitely the only brand I buy out recommend buying to others! It’s the best!.

I absolutely love white nails so I decided to do them now that it’s getting warmer! I used to have the Essie nail polish in Blanc but it was both thick and took very long to dry so when I ran out I got this Sally Hansen miracle gel instead because I heard so many great things about how long it lasts and how it gives the gel effect without any gel or UV light! However, while it does have the shiny gel-like effect, it only lasts about 3-5 days before it starts chipping and cracking.

The white nail polish is thick yet sheer, so I end up using 3-4 coats instead of the 2-3 coats that are recommended on the bottle. I also have to use 2 coats of the top coat, which leaves me with thicker nail polish than I usually would have wanted.

Although that is bearable, what disappointed me the most was how despite the claims that the top coat would set the nail polish quickly, it still smudges like wet nail polish even after setting it. This may be because I use one more coat of nail polish than recommended but it can’t really be helped if I want the white to be opaque.

I had high hopes but for a $13 nail polish kit, I thought it would work better than just OPI nail polish and a quickdry top coat.

I have used the Miracle Gel 2 step system for years. I have been pretty happy with it in the past. I find it does best on toes that don’t chip nearly as easily as fingernails. I have never had any issue with the step 2 top coat in the black bottle.

Recently, I needed a new bottle of top coat. I purchased one (now in a silver bottle) and the formula is HORRIBLE! Within one second of applying it over any color, it lifts my color off ruining what I’ve just painted on my toes.

I have used the old bottles thousands of times and I’ve never had this happen before. I don’t know if they changed the formula with the new bottle, but I hate it and it honestly makes me want to stop using the product I’ve been happy with for years.

I would give this A MUCH higher rating if this issue can be fixed or if someone can explain why this is happening all of a sudden. I have not changed how I’m applying the product, so it’s not user error.

I purchased the Under the Tree shade in store after seeing swatches online. This shade looks like a green to blue to purple shift in the bottle (online it looks more all green), but on the nail, it is a dark navy polish with a strong green shimmer.

Basically a blue to green shift duo chrome. It looks different in different lighting. I think the green shimmer is most visible in sunlight. You do need to apply two coats to get the most green! Glossy top coat also helps boost the shimmer.

The shade is very unique and pretty for the holidays! Sally Hansen’s brush is too wide, IMO. But it isn’t too hard to apply if you wipe a lot of the polish off the brush. This shade stains the skin so be careful! Target has the best price I found on this polish and they do sometimes run sales.

Its ok. It has a strong, weird, almost mildewy smell. Chrome powder went on a little patchy and uneven. Had to re apply to get full coverage. In some light it almost appears cloudy and blurs the chrome powder.

In other light it reflects well. The black lable top coat from the same company has better powder coverage and I dont recall it smelling like mildew. I will go back to using that when this runs out.

I have used this several times and I love it each time! I found the initial cure time to be way too long to be able to chrome with it. Maybe it is my light? I used it first on a swatch stick to see how the directions held up.

On my actual nails I cute for ten seconds only. Then use my chrome or mirror. Works perfectly that way for me. I used this for a regular topcoat over dip and the shine is phenomenal. Def recommend!.

I recently bought this to use with the mermaid rub on powder. It left my nails with a lovely sheen and helped them to last longer. Recommend using this with rub on powders to extend the life of your manicure.

I recently ordered 5 colors through Kiara Sky and absolutely love all of them! I was told about this brand through my cousin who is a loyal customer of theirs. There are sooo many to choose from and it is very hard to not pick them all.

I love glitter and they have a ton of glitter options. They also offer deals and have texting and email offers if you sign up which is nice to take advantage of. I enjoy using gel nail polish but have struggled in the past with cheaper brands lasting on my nails.

My hands get pretty beat up as I am a vet technician and workout daily. My nails would often chip in a week despite follow gel polish ways of using. I have had on this color for a little over a week now and so far no chipping and it seems to be holding up very well! I’m excited to try the other colors I purchased.

The only complaint I have is it took 3 weeks for delivery and I kept receiving misleading emails about where my package was and if it had even shipped or not. Otherwise, the colors came in a cute box with preventable measures for them not to break.

I will most likely be ordering again if these colors continue to hold up well on my nails. I’m excited to try the other colors I got! 💅.

I bought 6 different colors and all of them suck. They won’t fully cure. I’ve tried everything. I checked my lamp’s wattage and it is strong enough to cure these products. I’ve cured it for 2 minutes between each thin layer that I’ve applied and it still has residue and I’ve even tried applying top coat despite having residue and it stains my top coats brush and becomes patchy.

I went to their website and read how they recommend applying their polishes and it didn’t work. This was a waste of money. I do not recommend their gel polishes. I would recommend DND gel polishes instead.

They’re more affordable anyways.

I was hesitant to purchase this because my prior experience with this brand (Ombre kit) was disappointing. But I’m delighted with the Chrome art nail kit in Chameleon. Depending on the light, nail color can look lizard green, bronze, or garnet; glitter sparkle is discreet.

Every time I extend my hand to store clerks, waiters, bank tellers, etc. they stop me in mid-sentence to compliment me. I’d give 5 stars but the second kit I purchased, in Bronze, is less distinctive.

(The monochromatic color scheme is pretty subtle–maybe I have to play with it more for maximum effect?). Go for the Chameleon, but make sure to cover your work surface thoroughly because the glitter flakes are whisper thin and end up *everywhere.

* Otherwise, application is straightforward and simple. Durability is average, though I found that with Chameleon touch-ups are easy — just apply a bit more of the black polish, then dab on more glitter with the stamper and voila, chips are gone.

So YoungNails is a professional brand. I like this stain resistant top coat because, being a hair stylist it keeps color from staining my nails. It’s a high gloss shine but you will need to wipe off the tacky layer.

15 mil and $15. per bottle it’s pricey but worth it. I recommend it because I don’t know of any other brand that has one. 😍🥰.

This product is hands down AMAZING!! I use this on my hair stylist clients tanning clients! Hair color does not even stain your nails when using this top coat! It’s that’s good!! Only negative thing that sucks is it’s not carried at cosmoprof or salon centric only online on the young nails website which means you have to pay for shipping any time you need to order it.

So it gets pretty expensive because of that!.

Hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST Top Coat you’ll ever find! I have used SOOOOOOO many top coats and clear polishes that I’m sick of trying. But when I finally broke down and for this one I wish I had gotten this sooner! If the top coat is this amazing I can only imagine what the other gel polishes are like AND IM TOTALLY GETTING SOME!!!! The shine is amazing. One of my favorites for top coat. Doesn’t dull over time, it really maintains its shine, highly recommended. It is a bit runny so you don’t need to use so much or else you’ll have product flooding the sidewalls and cuticles.

Aprés products are high quality and worth the price. Forever a loyal buyer.

This gel topcoat is amazing. Currently my fave and has been my fave for the past two years. I wish they sold it in a refill but the consistency is perfect the application is so smooth shine lasts forever it’s my fave.

I got it in the mail, tried it on and immediately ordered 2 more bottles! This is the most incredible top coat I’ve ever tried! It made the glitter on my nails shine like crazy and I will never be without this, ever!.

I had been going back and forth between gel top coats from Gelish (which you have to wipe off with alcohol after the final coat), dip powder top coats (not gel-like finish) and the polygel top coat from Makartt (the end result was very inconsistent, sometimes it dried off and you wouldn’t need to wipe off, other times it never dried but I did try using this one as a top coat for dip powder manicures so it could be it dries well with polygel only).

Then I saw this set on Amazon. The reviews were not encouraging as there were many customers that had purchased other products from the same brand (PH Bond and Primer) that claimed the product had burned through their nail and had caused fungus and the skin under their nails to burn.

Personally, this is my first time using this product from this brand and I am in love with the results! This is exactly what I was looking for, a base and top coat I could use for any of the different manicures I choose for the day.

Cures with UV light and does not need to wipe off, this came off far more gorgeous than I thought it would look, no secondary effects and the bottles do come with a good amount. They were also relatively cheap (run for around $10-$12 for the set on Amazon).

Save yourself the trouble and the money on going for the expensive ones when this brand will do the same for much less. I am looking forward to trying their color dip collection!.

I was paying $90 a month on Gel nails at the salon…. Now many people find the nail salon relaxing. I do not. The minute I walk in I can’t wait to leave. And they always seem to take forever. And I just don’t care for it.

ENTER modelones! I purchased an LED lamp on amazon and this kit and some diff gel colors. And OMG! Perfection. Love love love it. Seriously, give it a try. You just apply the base, cure it under the light.

Apply a few coats drying under the light after each one, and then apply the top coat. Boom! All done and lasts 3-4 weeks until grown out and time to do it over. Getting it off is a task, however I have found that an electric mail file does the trick efficiently.

Seriously, not only does this save money so you can spend it elsewhere 🤣 but also you can do it in the comfort of your own environment. Good yeah nail salons, forever.

Before I found the top coat I have now, I always used this brand for my top and base coat. The shine would last for a week and wears off. Which is why I switched. Even still, I think this is a quality brand compared to others.

The base coat does a good job at protecting my nails but without it, they are fine too. This is an affordable option and you can get it pretty quickly on Amazon. I used the top coat on my nails pictured here.

I used a different brand for the color. The foil is an accent I added as well.

I love this product this is my favorite product I do my nails every 4 to 5 weeks and these nails last as long as any acrylic set you can do to your nails. And on top of that they’re healthier for your nails they do not do as much damage well we’re in the jail ex system.

I wear these more than I do acrylic now I do very little acrylic most of my customers want the gel X system.

Hands down my favorite topcoat super shiney . I use this on all my clients nails! A thicker viscosity wouldn’t hurt for jewelry. Super affordable i love getting the massive refill size buying again!

Use this for all my nail sets, Amazing shine for acrylic nails. You can use over gel as well but I prefer this one for acrylic nails more. It doesn’t go dull, high shine you don’t need to wipe with acetone once cured it’s ready to go.

Great product. I use it for everything. I’ve tried different brands but this ones still stays above the rest. Igel normally runs a 60% off sale making this great product a bargain and a steal. I have back up bottles and I don’t see myself changing to any other ones anytime soon.

this never comes out. I applied it on my toes three months ago and no matter what nail polish remover I use , it’s still there. so now. I’m just letting my nails grow out. three months smh. it’s that good.

This is my favorite top coat to use when doing nails. No having to wipe off that sticky layer gel polishes have and works great for those chrome, iridescent and so on powders. It’s also an affordable price.

Honestly one of the best gel top coats I have tried. Medium viscosity so it’s not too runny but not thick like some other top coats you need to apply with a brush. I managed to grab some during their last sale and you just can’t beat the price! I got 3 bottles for the price of one smaller bottle in another brand!.

I love these. They go on easily and aren’t as runny as some of the other top and base coats I’ve tried for gel polish. They seem to be a little thicker which obviously keeps them from running. There is hardly any smell and are an all around joy to use.

Love the aimeili gel polishes ! So far I’ve bought 3 sets from them. This one , the galaxy set and a glitter set. I’ve bought multiple brands from Amazon and these are the ones so far that don’t chip at all even when I keep them on for month.

I normally like to change my polish every 2- 3 weeks. But I’ve kept my gel manicure for a month before , same with my pedicure. Looks just good as the first day minus the nail growth. In the picture I’m wearing 032 (nude color ) with glitter foils✨💕.

This is my new favorite gel polish of all time. I love the color, the longevity, the price, the little sparkles in it. The color is a pretty light raspberry pink when they’re cold, and a milky/clear pearly white when they’re warm.

I got my bottle off Amazon for $6. 99 USD. When I don’t pick at my nails (which I have a bad habit of doing. ) they last for a couple weeks. It’s not prone to chipping which is so nice. The glitter chunks are large.

Personally I like that because the white of the color change is milky/clear and it gives it something to work with, but if you don’t like that you know now! I’ll attach a video of me running my nails under warm and cold water so you can see the color changing magic!.

BEWARE!!! This gel has a very high chance to make you develop an allergic. reaction. I used it for about 3 months and the last time. i did, the tips of my fingers developed it Jing, bumps and redness, then it escalated to pain and swelling and the last straw was my skin literally peeling.

Very good product, and behaves as expected. My brush went totally hard whilst finishing off my 3rd set of nails, but having Googled it, it’s totally my bad for doing the job in the sun light (UV), which cured it in a slit second.

Bought a second bottle as product is good.

My gel polish was always peeling or lifting after a few days! I googled how to stop it and MYLEE products were top of the list. This with the base coat and nail dehydrater have changed the game and now they stay on for ages!.

Best top coat I’ve ever used. Gel does not go anywhere, no chips, nothing. It’s not a no wipe top coat so will leave sticky residue, I usually wipe with a bit of nail polish remover and it’s fixed.
