20 Best Fantasy Shows On Amazon Prime (2023 Updated)

Great to have another unique animated title like this, since most stuff these days seems to all be the same old formula as far as animated features go. A real breath of fresh air if you’re a fan of older roto-scoped or animated fantasy films like Fire & Ice, Lord Of The Rings, or Heavy Metal, this is highly recommended for you.

Also included is a making of extra that runs around half an hour if memory serves, but I do wish that it would have included a commentary for the feature presentation.

Okay, so I’ll admit I purchased this because of the art on the case and a desire for something animated. I absolutely didn’t know what I was getting into, but that’s not a bad thing for this film. It’s dark, gritty, gruesome and raw.

I wish I could find more shows like this as easily as I can find anime that baits you into a similar experience (Berserk is about as close as it gets).

Wow!!! What a great film the ideas are admittedly better than the film itself. but this film was no small feat to produce. the story arc is very interesting and not completely original but enough so to give it something special.

I’d recommend this to anyone who likes films. like to your last death mixed with heavy metal. with some heavy mysticism and cosmic Lovecraft type elements in it’s mythology. Highly recommend!.

Horror movie anthologies are an odd bunch. They have huge devoted fan followings, are extremely entertaining and fun, are loaded with amazing cameos and yet they never flourish with more films for some reason.

Hell, Michael Dougherty’s Halloween masterpiece Trick r Treat got screwed out of its theatrical release inexplicably and almost didn’t even get released period! Whenever you are craving a great horror anthology it doesn’t get any better than Creepshow and Michael Dougherty’s amazing Trick r Treat.

At a solid 2 hour runtime with 5 great stories (ok “Father’s Day” is weak) it makes for an excellent October double feature with Trick r Treat. An absolute must own for horror hounds like myself. Horror anthologies need to come back again!.

I absolutely love Creepshow and it’s homage to horror comics from the 40’s and 50’s. This movie has cool stylized segments to mimic the comic book format. This movie is by no means scary but, a fun anthology film with horror themes with it’s younger firmly placed in its cheek.

The sound and transfer are surprisingly good and mica the texture of film quite well. There are scratches in the print here and there but, this is the best version of Creepshow you can buy at the time of the reveiw.

This disc is great based on the film and the transfer alone but, gets points taken off for not having bonus features. When are we going to finally get a Creepshow release with bonus features!?! With Steven King,George Romero and Tom Savini behind the wheel surly they could get something out of this.

This film deserves better treatment but, I am happy I got a great version of one of my favorite films.

Underrated film, decent Blu-ray transfer. It’s unfortunate that there aren’t any behind-the-scenes featurettes or interviews, I’d love to know more about the making of this movie. It seems so mysterious! I give this Blu-ray edition 4 stars based on the quality of the film itself [one of my wife’s all-time favorites] and the transfer, which is a bit soft but still the best I’ve ever seen this film look.

Would I love for Shout / Scream Factory to get their hands on the rights to this title and give it their loving Special Edition treatment? You bet I would, but seeing as this film is so often overlooked I’ll just assume it’s never going to happen and content myself with this one.

I have always loved this miniseries. Love the battle of good against evil. Some of the dialog isn’t the best, but the story is very good. Most of the acting is very good. Gary Sinese is very good. I don’t know I just always loved this story.

I like the mini series better than the book.

the movie was probably very good but I do not understand what is happening. Number one and number two or fine but it goes to number 3 and it does not make sense I tried playing number 4 instead of number 3 still did not make sense.

I definitely need to know how Nadine and Harold met up what happened before that? Pulling my hair out for Pete’s sake. it goes from the old lady and the small crowd standing on the mountain and then to Harold and Nadine riding motorcycles down the road but it doesn’t explain anything in between.

Again, very, very confused.

Great end of world scenario, made before the CG effects went into movies so effects aren’t all that great BUT the character development in the film pretty much follows the book. The book of course was most excellent, cannot beat the reading and altho the book is long it kept me on the edge of my seat all the way.

The film is a bit different as they all are but basically I liked it. good movie, especially because I met Molly during the film shoot up in Utah. Nice gal, took my berating her all in fun. Good story in the meeting but wont go into it, of course this is supposed to be about the movie.

But in short because her hair was dyed black she got away with me telling her (at first) she looked a LOT like Molly to which she replied “yeah, I get that a lot!” After I found she WAS Molly I scolded her and she took it in the jest it was meant.

good woman. But back to movie, I would recommend, it’s fairly light and easy to watch, especially MOLLY!.

Movies are great vehicles to tell the innumerable different stories of people’s lives, events, and happenings as a result of some precipitating event. And especially the changes that are brought about by ordinary, even if deadly, car accidents.

This movie, “REPLICAS,” is such a vehicle. Keanu Reeves convincingly portrays an average-man’s emotional psychology, who loses his entire family of four in a car accident. But Reeves as a neuroscientist is MORE driven by his brilliant mind who is on the verge of transferring human consciousness into a computer! Thomas Middleditch is wonderful as he plays a contemporary, “recruited” fellow scientist.

Middleditch is pulled into helping to secretly “clone” Reeves’ dead family bodies (all 4 of them, except one)! There are unexpected problems, complications, as well as the psychological and intellectual moral issues.

(These “replicas” are not clones, AND DEFINITELY NOT ZOMBIES!!) These ambiguous-conflicting issues are all a part of the central plot. And Keanu Reeves is good at showing how the mind and emotions of an ambitious neuroscientist is driven by the tragic deaths from the car accident to create substitute “REPLICAS.

” And he always is a good actor with charismatic physicality! Again, he is here! This movie is interesting in many ways, just from the above-written underlying tensions, forces, conflicts, personalities, and nascent ideas appropriate to our time, the 21st Century.

Alice Eve is a good-looking wife character who is photogenic to add to various scenes that move through the story. I especially like Alice Eve in the few “quasi-cat-and-mouse” pursuit scenes. Keanu still has to command the lead in this film, even in these non-primary “quasi-supporting-role” scenes played by Thomas Middleditch and Alice Eve.

The impact of this film on me is similar to the impact on me as in the Keanu Reeves with Morgan Freeman film, “CHAIN REACTION. ” That impact to me, is that: “It is a good film, but not a great film!” Perhaps it’s because such “car-accident-as-set-up” drivers of movie plots seem, time-and-time-again, to be unable to rise out of the innate mundane and topical nature that they are.

Even CRASH is an excellent example of this type of topical start-up and set-up for WHATEVER follows — No matter how unique and original the “WHATEVER that follows to make the developmental plot” IS.

Even CRASH, to my mind, mostly won Oscar noms due to it’s magnificent fine-actors, large ENSEMBLE cast! To wit, there is no large ensemble cast here in REPLICAS! Nevertheless, I bought this movie REPLICAS because I still enjoy it for a few future repeated viewings.

I bought it due to the fine energetic topical performances by Keanu Reeves, Thomas Middleditch, and Alice Eve. This movie just PROBABLY won’t ever reach my Top 10 films in any given referential point of my viewing habits and viewing life.

Still 4 stars out of five (5) is still a good “like!” And all-in-all, obviously, still beats out 3 stars! Somewhere in time,. deeper than my Top 25 movies.

This movie is good, but then again i like the sci fi. Starts too much like movies already seen with the A1 intelligent robots but then it takes a dark my family is dead twist. Then it gets good

Great performance from Keanu as to be expected. Great story. Filmed in Puerto Rico. You will enjoy this movie.

I missed this Nolan film when it was first released in the theaters. Picture-wise the 4K quality is beautiful to watch on screen. Slow at times but it never stops pulling you into the narrative despite it’s lengthy 3hr running time.

Great cast (including Oscar winners: McConaughey, Hathaway, Chastain, Burstyn, Caine, Damon and Casey Affleck). I sometimes find that (with the exception of his “Dark Knight” trilogy) I can really appreciate a Nolan film after a couple of views due to the non-linear storytelling (Memento, Inception, Tenet).

This is no different. This 3-disc set contains the feature in 4K and Blu-ray, plus an addiction blu-ray disc with over 3 hours of BTS special features (which is helpful if you didn’t “get it” after watching the film the second time around.

I’ve watched this a few times, and the cinematography, effects and of course Hans Zimmer’s score are excellent. However, don’t try and analyse the storyline too deeply, because in my opinion it contains a major flaw.

I won’t elaborate because it would contain spoilers, better to just sit back and enjoy the spectacle. Edit: After re-watching I’ve come to the conclusion that my brain was flawed when I initially wrote this review, and I’ve now uprated it from 4 to 5*.

In fact, I’ve since purchased the blu-ray version.

Great movie! Might be confusing unless you rewatch and pay close attention to it. The story telling top notch, as well as the visuals. One of the best films this guy has done period. 4k version was good not great, but i guess i expected some out of this world type of visuals, which you do get in small scenes, such as the space scene going into the black hole per say.

There is some film grain visible, but overall its nice, smooth and clear. Great movie to add to collection!.

The video quality is worse than my untrustworthy memory recalls (of course, now that we are used to UHD Blu-Ray and on a larger screen, this should be expected). The CGI is laughably bad by modern standards.

The best parts of the movie are the music, and the truly creepy and villainous villain.

Little known horror gem. Older, but in some ways better than the slick flicks they make now. For genre lovers mostly. Interesting take on the basic vampire set-up. Spawned a few sequels but (as usual the 1st one plays the best.

The first in the series and really good on BluRay. Some good enough effects for the time and budget of the film. I reccomend the whole series for the unique approach to the vampire story.

Season 1 gets off to a great start. Love the short horror stories and the creepy host. Season 2 is just as good and continues the great creepy tales. Highly recommend to old school horror fans.

Any fan of the original movies will love this. It stays very true to the overall theme and presentation that old horror fans are used to. If you’re not a fan of gore or cheesiness, than this probably isn’t for you.

This release is not bad at all. It has a nice slipcover and the new stories that are added to the Creepshow line are quite good. I would recommend this release.

This is a pretty good movie, its more of an action film than a horror movie but its labeled as horror because it has vampires in the movie. This movie stars James Woods Im pretty sure this is the only movie Ive seen him in so far I could be wrong though.

The acting is great in this movie James Woods who plays Jack Crow The hero and Vampire slayer is fantastic and so is Thomas Ian Griffith who plays Jan Valek the master vampire the main villain. Their take on vampires is pretty cool Im not going to give a lot away but its cool.

John Carpenter is an awesome director. The story is great the movie is about a Vampire hunter James Woods who hunts down vampires and is looking for the original vampire Thomas Ian Griffith and pot a stop to his terror and creating more vampires but Valek is trying to find this cross so he can do a ritual so he can walk in the day and its up to Jack to stop him he is accompanied by Anthony Montoya(Daniel Baldwin) his friend, Katrina (Sheryl Lee)a woman bitten by Valek who has a psychic link to him and Jack uses her to find Valek and Father Adam Guiteau who was sent by the church Jack works for to help Jack out.

So can Jack stop Valek before its too late well youll have to watch this movie to find out. The acting, story, directing and special effects are awesome. If you have not seen this movie then I recommend you do.

John Carpenter has always been a misunderstood director, kind of an outsider in Hollywood. His filns have not been praised as being blockbusters when they were released theatrically, but thanks to hime video, these films has gained a huge cult status.

Vampires is one if my favorites, mixing horror and western genres, which makes for a great ride.

Gory violent tongue in cheek fun. Woods – Baldwin & company are the vampire hunters and Thomas Ian Griffith is the super bad blood sucker! Woods is so cool & so badass- hes unforgettable. Another great yet underrated & unappreciated John Carpenter gem.

Brilliant on bluray from Shout factory with great cover art! Terrific.

I was an enthusiastic fan of the Tales From the Crypt series, and of the three feature-length films this is definitely my favorite! I saw it opening weekend in the theaters and probably a hundred times since on DVD.

This Blu-ray release is often listed as out of print on some other marketing sites which are charging extravagant prices to get your hands on Blu-ray copy. It is, in fact, obviously not out of print – but there are very few reputable retailers carrying this title – one of which is right here.

I encourage you to buy your copy here today before it actually is gone!.

Demon Knight is one of my all-time favorite horror films so when I heard ScreamFactory were releasing it I just had to have it! In my honest opinion this is the best film for all the actor’s involved (Jada, Billy Zane, etc.

) and they gave their best performances here considering it’s a campy-gorey horrorfest. Unfortunately I had to knock off one star because the picture quality is only Good, not Excellent. In this day and age, remastering of old films have soiled us and while this release has a picture quality far superior to the DVD, I still notices little bits of artifacts (such as black lines and dots) throughout the movie.

Hadn’t actually seen this back in the day, picked it up due to good reviews. A good fun horror time. Billy Zane is the best part, hilarious and over the top

This is one of those films that you have to suspend your belief in reality in order to enjoy it fully, somewhat like the James Bond films. But if you can do that, then this is a fun time watching another end of the world extravaganza.

One note about this and increasingly more new films. The opening credits identified Chinese producers and I was watching closely where their investment would show up in the film. Sure enough there are several glaring instances which CLEARLY are the Chinese producer’s input – a character that seemed out of place and comments made about China.

It was fun trying to spot those so you may have fun doing so also. The special effects are amazing and help make this a visual delight and Halle Berry is always a pleasure to watch. Recommended.

What’s not to love? Fun cast. Amazing digital effects. Many story ingredients that usually can add up to a pretty decent story. But man was the whole premise stupid. By the time I got to the end, I had really enjoyed the action.

There was the occasional chuckle. Could have been a pretty good dumb summer movie in a sort of comic book way. If it was just meant to be silly. But I watched the special features and seeing the cast and crew talk about it with no sarcasm or tongue-in-cheek…I found myself going “wow.

They really thought they were making some sort of believable apocalypse movie. ” Annnnnd I just can’t bear watch it again. YMMV. I’ve seen worse. That’s for sure.

This is definitely one of the best disaster movies of all time. Action from start to finish, The special effects were outstanding and kept your eyes glued to the screen. The storyline kept you on the edge of your seat.

I would recommend adding this movie to any movie collection for sure. In fact, this is one of those movies I could watch several times and know it would keep my attention each time. Well done and worth watching.

Devil Blu-Ray. This film didn’t make it to the cinema , but now that I own it. It should have. It’s a great story & plot. Not to mention the film setting. Edge of the seat for parts of the movie. I’m glad to have finally purchased it , & the cost of it was extremely low , great buy !!.

I love this movie. Most of the actors are well known and I love the premise because it is part of my culture. I never get tired of watching this movie. I notice something different each time I watch it.

Enjoy it, time and time again.

A random group of people get trapped in an elevator at some office building unaware that one of them is actually the Prince of Darkness. The Devil stalks each of the group one by one in a grisly manner as the building security and police detective look on helplessly through the security cameras.

Very tense and suspenseful.

The beginning of a great sci-fi trilogy. Vin Diesel in my opinion is the perfect actor for the role. He plays a captured con that is absolutely ruthless and determined to survive a crash landing on an alien planet.

Stranded with a bounty hunter, the ship’s female pilot, a young girl, pretending to be a boy and several other passengers. The planet is due for an eclipse (hence the title pitch black) and when the world falls into darkness a voracious horde of aliens arise to devour everyone.

Vin Diesel becomes an unlikely hero, and not your typical hero at that. Ruthless, determined, and unafraid to make sacrifices to get off the planet. Rocks from beginning to end. Follow it up with The chronicles of Riddick, and then Riddick.

All 3 are excellent sci-fi adventures.

I love VIN DIESEL> I’m glad that Riddick’s character was so well written for him. Origional SCI-Fi plot. Everyone did a very good job acting. They didn’t seem like they were acting. Movie was well cast.

However CGI monsters created By Pactick T. didn’t have enough realism. They needed a bigger budget to let this verrrry creative man let his monsters really come to life. ALSO. studios should have let Director’s cut of “Chronicles of Riddick” been released into theaters so the it could have really been appreciated.

Now I had to wait all these years for the sequel of “The Chronicles of Riddick” to come out this September. Which might have meant a bigger budget 4 the 3rd Riddick character movie and maybe the plot might have shown Riddick going back to planet Furia with the Necromongers in tow with Riddick as the Lord Marshall.

I never watched this movie till I bought it in this Blue-Ray format. I would highly recommend this movie for people who like sci-fi / suspense / horror. The plot isn’t very complicated, but the cinemetography is as good as it gets for this type of film.

The camera angles, lighting, and colors were well thought out in the production. Much to my suprise, VinDiesel did an excellent job as Riddick, as well did all the other actors. Several times durring the BlueRay Disc there are problems with the audio and video being out of sync.

They have both theatrical and directors cut versions on the disc, which I suspect attribute to the problems. I would have expected someone from the disc manufaturer to actually watch the completed disc before releasing it.

It is possible that I have hardware “lagging” problems , but the audio problems always occur at the same point (and correct at the same point) on the disc. Also, I have not had any audio problem with the 20+ other BDiscs I have watched.

Yes, my firmware is up to date on the BD player. Reguardless, I enjoyed watching this movie, and would still recommend this disc if it on sale. If you can get past the audio sync issues (as annoying as they can be), you should get this disc.

I have not seen the DVD version which I am sure does not have this problem. If you like this movie, I highly recommend “The Chronicles of Riddick” which is the sequel to this movie. I had NO problems with audio in this release.

This was a great 3D movie! The 3D quality and effects were fantastic. The story was interesting but as usual with these movies there’s always some moments where you need to stop your brain from thinking too much about what’s going on.

The action was fun and the characters were enjoyable. If you’re a fan of Godzilla then I would recommend you watch this. And I would recommend this one to any 3D Blu-ray collectors out there. Thank you WB for continuing to release 3D movies here in the US! 5 out of 5 stars.

I watched this movie hoping it would be similarly enjoyable compared to the recent Godzilla and Kong movies but honestly the script and dialogue are just terrible. The character development is razor thin and of course the two monsters communicate through growls and screeches so that’s worth even less although the human actors don’t outperform them by much given the script they have to work with.

The film barely survives due to the herculean efforts of the amazing CG and SFX artists and a fantastic production team who brought it to life. Watch it for the visual spectacle but don’t expect any sort of meaningful plot.

Decent movie with awesome 3D effects especially with the very limited 3D releases we get in the US. The movie is decent it has some nice action sequences that awesome in 3D that’s the main reason I bought it.

Hopefully we get more 3D releases as I’m still a big fan of 3D tvs. I don’t have much to say about the movie it’s decent and would recommend if you’re looking for 3D Blu-Rays.

In 1988, on Earth, the boy Peter Quill is abducted by a spacecraft after losing his mother. In 2014, Peter Quill, a. k. a. Star Lord, is a ravager searching a valuable orb on the surface of the dead planet Morag.

When Peter finds the orb, he is hunted down by the Kree warship The Dark Aster of the powerful Ronan the Accuser but he flees. Peter also double crosses his partner Yondu Udonta that puts a reward on him.

Peter Quill arrives on the Xandar city Nova Empire and is chased by Ronan’s warrior Gamora and by the bounty hunters Rocket and The Groot. They are arrested by the police officer Corpsman Dey and his men and sent to the prison The Kyln, where they befriend the strong Drax.

Soon they learn that Gamora wants to betray Ronan and sell the orb to a dealer for a huge amount while Drax wants to kill Ronan, who killed his wife and daughter. They plot a plan to escape from The Kyln to sell the orb and split the money.

But soon they also learn that the orb keeps the infinity stone that gives immensurable destructive power to the owner. They self-proclaim Guardians of the Galaxy and decide to deliver the orb to the leader Nova Prime to keep it safe from Ronan.

But they are hunted down by Ronan and his right-arm Nebula that want to destroy Xandar and also by Yondu Udonta and the Ravagers that want to sell the infinity stone to make lots of money. Who will keep the powerful orb?.

This is the sequel to one of my favorite movies, Guardians of the Galaxy. Like it’s predecessor, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is a very fun movie. It picks up where the first one leaves you, and like the original, it has a great balance of action and humor.

I’m not sure what genre this movie should fall into. It is an action movie, but not like your typical action movies. It is funny, but is not a comedy. These guys are really superheros, but this really isn’t a typical superhero movie.

I guess is would be a humorous, action-packed, science fiction superhero movie. I was worried when I saw the sequel coming out. I thought it would be hard to create a sequel as good as the original, especially with such a unique movie.

But they did it, and I am glad they did.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 succeeds in pretty much every way it conceivably could have. The first installment was terrific, being both fun and exciting to an extent most movies aren’t, and this new movie manages to be even better in every sense.

Questions raised during the previous movie are addressed, new characters are added into the mix while the already established characters are explored and given additional depth, and all of it is wrapped up in a fascinating story that is captivating and dramatic without taking itself too seriously.

Ignoring noise being carried in the medium of space, especially during what amounts to a fireworks display near the end, is really the biggest problem I have with this movie. and it’s not like that is a piece of poor filmmaking exclusive to this movie.

I’m glad that James Gunn is on board to helm Volume 3, because he has handled this franchise precisely the way it should be treated.

My personal favorite show on tv right now, more than happy to own the DVDs but the lack of any special features sorta dampens the purchase. Overall though Im happy with the conversion as the quality is excellent.

Found the season 1 on TV … 2nd season is even better… Hope there are more seasons…Really funny comedy!!

Such a funny sitcom! Vampire roommates and their troubles! Its hilarious! Well written

I have seen all the body snatching movies out there. Have enjoyed them all. This is 6 stars. Typical snatching themes mixed in with a hard to explain love story. Great dialogue that will have you laugh or talk to the screen.

The ending can cause tears. Spoiler alert. Happy tears.

You are going to watch and re-watch this movie. It is a very interesting idea about aliens and a good love story. I do recommend reading the book although it is not necessary to read first in order to enjoying the movie.

You could read it after watching the movie and then watch the movie again.

It is a great movie but better as a book. I like that concept and watching max irons. I did waiting to purchase this when it got cheaper.

Omega Man is a classic film. Charleston Heston does a great job and the remake – I am Legend is also very well done. Make sure you watch them in order. Logan’s Run is a good movie, but the sound effects in today’s standards is pretty corny.

I haven’t watched Dark City but plan to do so soon.

Great price for these sci-fi classics. Omega man was always one of my favorites and Logans Run was great to. Really enjoyed all of the movies. They were very entertaining.

Richard Matheson’s classic I am Legend has been filmed three times, two of the versions are here. Omega Man, not so good. I am Legend, not bad. Logan’s Run is kitschy bit watchable. The real treat is Dark City.

The acting for all the characters is engaging. The school kids do a great job in showing their emotions and being scared when first facing the skeleton warriors chasing them. Queen Morgana’s acting is also well done and engaging.

The main plot is than a fatherless high school kid, being raised by his mom, finds Excalibur, and becomes involved in the legend to stop Queen Morgana from returning to the world. Well written script in using the legend to set the scene in today’s modern world.

The character development between the kids is also good. The only negative is the big battle at the end, where his school age classmates aren’t afraid of the skeleton knights attacking them. The kids should be scared for the first time, and only after defeating a few, would they have the courage to stand.

Overall, an entertaining movie to rent.

I love English culture. The finality of it all enriched the movie: ending evil is a major thing. To engender chivalry in a family-friendly adventure is so enthralling. Bullying isn’t always necessary in a movie or a book, but here it is tantamount to showing a saving grace for the king without a father.

He rides above the shackles of his pain. Concurrently Morgana frees herself from the shackles of the roots. Exemplary. Impeccable.

The movie was a bit better than I expected – not awesome, but a lot of fun. But the extra features on the disc were truly excellent. I’m not usually a big fan of the various making-of features, but I ended up watching all of them in this case.

The enthusiasm of everyone involved really shines through when they’re talking about their experiences making the film and what they were trying to accomplish. Don’t skip the movie, but do plan on watching the extra features as well.

I’m watching the first movie The Stand. I still have this movie on VHS and on DVD. But I wanted the whole collection of the other movies, so I purchased this box set. I’m disgusted that mother Abigail’s song, What a friend we have in “Jesus”, has been replaced with the name”Jerry”.

And part two of this film is missing. So how most of them meet up for the first time… Nothing …disappointing. I can’t rate this box set yet I have to watch the rest first. So far it’s a one star. I’m so sorry y’all.

I am a Stephen King fan. I have read all his books, and seen the movies related to them. This DVD Collection has 7 movies: 1. The Stand 2. The Langoliers 3. Golden Years 4. The Dead Zone 5. Pet Sematary 6.

S. K. ‘s Silver Bullet 7. S. K. ‘s Graveyard Shift. As with many people, I have my favorites. In the big-scene types, The Dead Zone will always be No. 1 (No. 2 being “Misery”). Christopher Walken playing the part of Johhny, just made the movie.

Of the TV Mini-series, it would be “The Stand”. It was the classic idea of Good vs Evil, with a stellar cast. The only movie I didn’t watch was Pet Sematary, as I didn’t like it when it was in theaters.

Overall, this is a great collection.

I wanted this set for a while and waited for a price drop to buy it. I ended up getting it for under $12 well worth the money. Everyone saying it was supposed to come with digital copies of the Stephen King TV and Film Collection are wrong.

It is supposed to come with Stephen King 6 movie collection digital copy something completely different from this set. My set also did not come with the code so I contacted Vudu and after verification of the item and purchase they happily gave me my digital copies that came along with the item purchased.

If you enjoy classic sci-fi movies from the 50’s and 60’s than you’ll love this DVD. Nearly 6 hours of great family entertainment. Bought this for my dad. He and I will be watching it together this weekend, just as we did on Saturday afternoons when I was a kid in the 70’s.

Great memories, and great movies. Pop the corn and settle in to your Lazy Boy!.

The movies were so well re-mastered. Nothing left out, but oh so sharp! It made viewing these so much more pleasurable and the remastering enhanced the films rather than take away form them. Highly recommended if you’re a late 50s, to 60s sci-film maven like me.

I luv these older movies these are great very entertaining. Always looking for more. They are a treat and the black and white is perfect it inhanses the movie. The color mothra is also very good and done well.
