This was tasty enough, I guess,, but: (1) I don’t see how Velveeta gets off likening it to a Philly Cheese Steak anything (let’s start with the CHEESE, shall we?); (2) I wished it included more Noodles than it does; and (3) while my Grandchildren LOVED it, I felt the need to “tweak” it a bit (specifically, I added decent amounts of roasted garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcester Sauce plus a squirt of Sriacha to my own portion) to make it more to my liking.
Since I wasn’t expecting anything “spectacular” to emerge from the box, I wasn’t disappointed. At the same time, I didn’t come close to being at all impressed either. “As is”, I give it a 3 (even with my “tweaks”, I can’t give it more than a 4).
As I noted above, it was tasty enough, it was convenient, and (in my personal opinion) it is fairly priced. I have absolutely NO intention of buying this — or any other variety of Velveeta Skillets — for personal consumption ever again (it’s just as easy — and probably more economical in the long run — to buy a whole package of Egg Noodles and prepare them to my personal liking), but since the kids liked it so much (what IS their Mother feeding them???!), I will, in likelihood, keep a box or 2 of this variety on hand for when they visit.
This is AWFUL. It is way too tomato-y. Even with the white cheese sauce all you taste is tomato. It is sweet, they added sugar to cut the tomato acid, but it tastes too sweet. If you don’t eat it within the first 3 minutes it turns to glue.
It is terrible. It went down the garbage disposal. Waste of money. Their chicken varieties are good but not the classic lasagna. It doesn’t taste anything like any lasagna I’ve ever eaten. AWFUL. 🤮.
It’s decent. The prep was easy. However it’s velveeta so the consistency of the alfredo sauce was definitely. velveeta. Lol not sure what else I was expecting. It’s good, sorta, but definitely not top quality alfredo.
I think next time I make it I’ll use like 1/3 of the sauce in the packet because it’s just so thick and gooey and makes it almost unenjoyable. It’s good if you’re in a pinch though but I honestly wouldn’t pick it over the other brands of box alfredo that I’ve bought before.
The meat seasoning that you mix in while cooking is delicious though!.

We were all looking forward to trying these, even our little kids who love spicy snacks! We are huge fans of regular cheez-its, so naturally this was exciting! Big bag and pretty full, so it felt like a great value.
Very light and airy, puff like texture. The flavor was interesting- Not so much a spicy cheddar or other spicy flavor with layers or different flavor profiles, but more just like a hot pepper spice. Just straight spice.
They were definitely spicy, but didn’t have much else to be desired in the actual flavor. Now the puff texture- At first fun to eat, light, and gives you that satisfying, snack munching feel. But once you’ve eaten a couple, it turns into mush that is incredibly difficult to get unstuck from teeth, roof of the mouth, and other hard to reach areas.
So much so, that after a handful I just didn’t want to eat them anymore. If that doesn’t bother you, then they are worth trying. But if that kind of thing does bother you, I probably wouldn’t recommend these.
For flavor, the regular cheddar ones I felt were the best.

I suppose Member’s Mark is trying to make more money by using no paper dividers between the cheese slices. This might be just OK with some cheeses, but with cheddar it doesn’t work. Every slice gets stuck to the next so you will never be able to get a whole slice out of the package without it being broken or crumbling.
Pathetic. Won’t be buying Member’s Mark cheese again.
I have bought this type of cheese on multiple occasions and every single time within a few weeks of purchase it is covered in mold. I always have it sealed when Im done and the expiration date is always 2 -3 months away, but not matter I end up having to throw it away before I can finish it.
The mold issue is not limited to Sharp cheddar. I have had the same problem with mild cheddar, provolone, and baby swiss. I have no problem buying Member’s Mark items, but when it comes to cheese it’s not worth saving a few dollars.

I just had one of these for a quick dinner. I was starved and thought I’d try one. The Salisbury steaks were actually good–none of that weird gristly stuff you sometimes find in frozen Salisbury steaks.
The mashed potatoes were as good as any other frozen dinner meal. The brownie was to die for. My only real complaint would be that there was something gritty in my green beans. I understand that veggies can be like that sometimes if they’re not properly washed, and maybe that’s what the problem was? They were good until I got the weird pieces of grit.
I enjoy these little TV dinners, however if you get mashed potatoes as a side, cook them at a lower temperature if you’re using a microwave or else you will have a sponge type material, resembling bread.
These dinners are high in sodium however I believe you can purchase a lower sodium as an alternative option. These meals will fill you up temporarily but I can honestly say I was hungry an hour later, which I found that shocking being they advertised high levels of protein amongst other essential vitamins.
The meat for the most part is pretty good, if you cook this in a conventional oven, I’m sure it is much better however, I use these meals for convenience. therefore, a microwave is better for me. I recommend letting them cool off once prepared to get a better flavor once it sets, plus it’s very hot.
I can purchase these meals for $2 to $3, it is a great alternative for someone that doesn’t cook a whole lot or someone that is on the go. I recommend trying multiple hungry man meals before deciding on one.
I’ve always been a pretty health conscious person, so it was somewhat natural that I used Hungry Man to help manage my weight early into my adult life. It was great for portion control and calorie intake.
Although after learning more about preservatives and sodium I dropped them and switched to healthier all natural alternatives. Much to my delight Hungry Man has found a way to continue to market to consumers like me that like to have our cake and eat it too when weighing our options, ourselves and the quality of food we are putting into our bodies.

The quality of the product seems very good (have yet to try it melted in a cheese sauce), but the flavor just was NOT there for my cheese grits, my tacos, etc. I had considered buying the medium cheddar for the different things I wanted to cook, but I stuck with a sharp cheddar.
Unfortunately, this one did not measure up to the other sharp cheddars that I am used to. Unsure of what is different about this cheddar. It was NOT bad, but I kept searching for the cheese in the dishes that I put this in.
And, I had used a liberal amount of this cheese in them. Disappointed.
We don’t usually get pepperjack. I have a Minnesota palate – i. e. I’m not fond of spicy foods. But we found a recipe that called for pepperjack as part of the cream sauce, and we’ve been buying this ever since.
Good on crackers, burgers, you name it! We’ve tried other brands because I’m usually a penny-pincher, but this is really not much more expensive than what else is out there, and with a LOT more flavor and creaminess to it.
Perfect for small batch cheese makes. Each packet makes up to 2 gallons of milk per packet and takes out the guess work. Once your milk is at temperature, simply sprinkle the packet contents on to the milk, then wait 5 minutes before stirring to allow the cultures to rehydrate.
Stir 3-5 minutes, cover and wait 45-60 minutes. For the new cheesemaker, this takes out any guess work. Each batch I’ve made using these has turned out great.

I used a 10mg resolution scale to measure 1000mg packet powder, and used the MA11 net weight designation on the packet as the other indicator.

My Step Son, has been buying this delicious cheese for years. His jars have always been wrapped individually. I ordered 10 jars for myself for my anniversary. They came in on time, however, the jars were not individually wrapped in bubble pack.
They were put into a box together unprotected from each other. Remarkable there were only two jars busted open. If you can imagine digging through all that broken glass cleaning each jar by hand. 150 dollar purchase Gee thanks.
I saw a video from Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge (possibly the best cheese shop in the US) and they said the staff loves this cheese. They were not wrong! I have spread it on grilled bread with avocado and used it as a salad dressing including the oil.

Guess I have lucked out with my store, because so far, my cheese has always been within date, not wet, not smelling of mold, and no rind running through and through. It’s a soft pliable cheese, with the usual white rind, has the usual brie smell, as any brand I have had.
And it heats up nicely with brown sugar, maple syrup, a bit of black pepper and pecans. And I use the Wal-Mart demi baguettes to serve it on. I have tried a couple savory recipes and they are okay, but I like the sweet, much better.
Oh, and don’t forget to thinly slice pears and place them on the baguette, then top with a spoonful of the brie concoction. MMMMMM!!! Granted there are a couple other brands I prefer, but no one is selling them in my area anymore, so this is my 3rd choice but serves us well.
Should I receive a wheel or brie as several have notated, I will pitch a fit!.
President Brie cheese with noble white mold, covered with a very delicate white mold only on the outside. Moreover, this mold does not cause associations with mold at all. Its structure is velvety and pleasant to the touch, and the smell is absolutely not repulsive, though specific.
The aroma is specific, but pleasant, slightly mushroom, without a putrid smell and sharpness. The taste of President Brie cheese is fantastic! Soft and delicate, creamy, with nutty-mushroom notes at the crust.
I’ve given this brie multiple tries over the years, and I always end up disappointed. I think today was the last time I’ll ever buy it. Everyone knows this isn’t a high-end cheese. this is what you get to put on a cheap cheese board to try and make it look fancy.
but even so, even as a cheap alternative, I just can’t recommend it. It has one big issue. There’s this really prominent acrid bitter flavor. have you ever inhaled while someone was spraying Lysol in the room? That’s what it tastes like.

We love it with angel hair. Cook veggies and butter til soft. Add shrimp. Season with Tony chacere’s to taste. Once shrimp is cooked, remove and add in velveeta and half half. Stir often til the cheese is melted.
Add shrimp back. Mix with noodles. We like garlic bread on the side. Enjoy!.

A client of my husband sent us a box full of mixed beef from your company we really enjoyed that the cut fillets in the hamburgers the best and really enjoy the seasoning packet that comes with the meats I thought that the strip steaks were too thin as well as the T-bones other than that the meat was juicy tender and delicious I recently sent my mom a big burgers she loves them she’s 86 years old lives in Florida those two out at a time.
Has won one night with cheese and one with the peppers the other night and she is in heaven I plan on sending her another books perhaps for Mother’s Day. I highly recommend the fillets and the burgers.

I has always ordered your 8 ounce burgers, but decided to try the 4. 5 ounce ones too. The problem I run into is you vacuum seal 2 burgers in one package with a wax liner in between. I wanted to cook one burger but was unable to separate the two burgers in the package.
I even tried to wedge a butter knife in between them and failed. I ended up cooking them frozen to try to release the paper liner. It took quite a while and when the paper released it tore and little parts stuck to the burgers.
Maybe this is because FedEx was a day late delivering my order and the meat had thawed as there was no ice in the shipping carton. It was still cold so I figured everything was OK (like your instructions say) until I tired to eat one after they were refrozen! Sill a great tasting product, just takes some work to eat it!.

Perhaps I should try the Gold-level. But there were 6 other high quality steaks at our dinner and this Wagyu was only marginally better. Comparing this $70+shipping steak to the others that cost $20 to $30 from our local high-end butcher was interesting.
All were prepared the same way (cast iron seared) and were excellent, very similar in quality, taste, texture and enjoyment. To be clear, the other steaks were the best you can get short of Wagyu, but at less than 1/2 the cost.
Amazing cut of meat. I reversed seared it and probably should it just hit it on the grill from the get go at a medium-medium high heat to get the medium rare after letting it sit at room temperature for an hour.
But so buttery. Great steak and hard to mess up, my parents loved it and was still amazing 3 days later in the fridge for leftovers.

I just placed my second order for Denver steak. I have been trying different methods for seasoning and cooking the steak. My favorite is seasoning it with salt, pepper and garlic. Refrigerating it overnight then bringing it to room temperature.
“Reverse Searing” to rare or medium rare, 120-130F, resting it for 5 minutes and thinly slicing across the grain. Outstanding.
This little steak that I’d never heard of before Porter Road is the perfect choice for my husband and I to share. I usually cut it down the middle, cook the two halves (which is easier due to the smaller size), and then it makes the perfect portions to go with any sides.
I want to always have Denver Steak in my freezer!.
One of the best cuts most don’t know about!! These steaks are so flavorful and pretty tender when cooked medium rare. I love these they are one of my favorites along with a good old ribeye and flat iron.

I simply love these! The eggs taste good and the steak in it has very good flavor. I am not an adventurous eater, with retirement I am learning how to keep food at home, Ha! And I do not want cooking to be complicated, but to taste like I went to a lot of work.

I absolutely love this scramble, it has a great flavor, is so easy to make, and fills you up until lunch time! The steak is the absolute best flavor, and the eggs are always good and fluffy. I do find that my microwave requires just a little more time, but I’ve 3aten these so often that I have it down to a science.
