19 Best Wearable Spy Camera With Audio (2023 Updated)

I was so excited to get the PogoCam because of the possibilities it presented. But when I got it I was grossly disappointed. The good Its small, fits discreetly on your eyeglasses, stays put. The not so good It automatically turns off in a very short period of time, so often its not on when you need to take that quick spontaneous picture.

Its also somewhat difficult to push the buttons for taking a picture or shooting video. And finally, in order to download and view the pictures it really requires removing the camera from your eyeglasses, placing it in the battery box, and downloading it to your computer.

Yes you can download things to your phone app but its cumbersome at best. The bottom line as many has said is that its a nice little toy and nothing more. If you plan on using it seriously, look elsewhere.

The PogoCam is an incredible little camera. I used the loop and attached it to my regular glasses. I can’t even feel the weight of it or tell anything is there. The photos and videos are great. This truly does allow me to watch life in the first person instead of through my phone screen as I am taking videos of my kids this weekend.

The instructions are a little vague. But the camera takes very good pictures. For such a small camera I was very impressed with the clarity and sound

Not much to say except it does everything exactly as advertised. Nice little lightweight camera for the price. The clips hold it securely. It has exactly 5 hours recording time for the 64 GB version.

Very easy to use and set up. It is a good device for motorcycle riding use to record instances of motorcycle profiling and harassment by police. Clip it on, put it on standby mode and forget about it, then touch one button and it’s on.

Great camera, it is much better than expected. It has great picture quality and seems very solid state and records alot of video that it breaks up into segments so that you can pick and choose which ones to view ,delete or move.

It is made very solid state better than many other more fragile cameras. The only 2 things I don’t like is that it has a strange hard to open rubber door flap on the data charging port and I have to transfer files to my computer in order to delete them which takes too much time and file deletion can sometimes be confusing transferring many hours of video.

This may be one of the cheaper of body worn camera, but it surprises me in a few areas, and makes me glad I didn’t spring for a pricier one. I can honestly say that the video is pretty good, whether day OR night! The audio is also decent.

What impressed me though, was that I had it clipped on the back of my bicycle as a ‘rear-view camera’ (if you will).

This BOBLOV Police Body Cam, is absolutely brilliant, i’M 82 years young, and although, (because of my age) i needed a little prompting at first. I now find it so very easy, I am absolutely delighted with it.

The Camera is very good, who connect to my WIFI very easy and give me video from my garden, from everywhere. There is a small comment, DONT connect the powersupply outdoor, it cant handle rain (water).

This is my 4th security camera I owned that’s made by Arlo. I also have the Arlo video/audio doorbell and 2 older model Arlo Wireless cameras. The 2 cameras were the first model I think and records in 720 and have no audio.

Still its pretty clear and a good camera in my opinion. I had one of the cameras in the garage which to me was really important b/c I’m the type that’s always worried I forgot to close the garage door when I go out.

When that happens I can always look on the phone to makes sure its closed which eases my mind. But the problem with that is since its rechargeable there have been times when the battery runs out and I’m unable to check it.

With that I decided to buy a wired camera and put it in the garage. I bought the Arlo essential camera and to me its a great camera which was easy to setup and records in 1080 with night vision. Now I don’t have to worry about running out of power and can access the camera any time I want to.

The picture is a lot clearer and have sound also. The video is great and the sound is really clear also. Arlo makes a great product and when I eventually upgrade my 2 cameras I will look for Arlo cameras also.

The salesperson at Bestbuy was really great also and provided me great info and help with purchasing the camera which was sold out at the store and had to buy through their online store only.

We’ve had an Arlo system for years that continues to grow. This will be our first Arlo indoor camera. Positive points for the Arlo system are that the video quality is excellent, hardware has been very durable and reliable, easy setup and installation, and the app is very user friendly.

Things to consider if you’re looking to purchase are that Arlo now requires a subscription service if you want your video stored to the Cloud for 30 days and outdoor cameras typically require routine battery charging; for us we probably have to charge the batteries for outside cameras every one to two months depending on settings.

We had an interest in the indoor camera for primarily when we are gone from our house. It’s not something I would want routinely recording. The automated privacy shield is nice that it has the camera put the physical shield over the camera and mic.

Note that this indoor camera connects via cable directly to your wifi and thus will be limited in terms of physical placement depending on cable length. The app allows users to customize settings for notifications, camera sensitivity and device settings.

Arlo’s AI identification works well to differentiate people, vehicles, packages and animals. The 2-way audio feature is good to have, but we have used this feature very rarely. Arlo is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Samsung SmartThings.

If you’re looking for an easy-to-use security camera system with excellent 1080p video quality I think you’ll like Arlo a lot. Just keep in mind that outdoor cameras will require charging (easy task to accomplish) and there is a monthly security cost to consider if you want longer Cloud storage.

Night vision is decent, though not as good as daytime video clarity, it is still very acceptable in my opinion. I still like Arlo a lot for its nice design, great video quality, durability and ease of use; I just with the subscription plans were a bit less.

This Arlo Essential Indoor Camera is all about image quality and software. I have the camera facing the front door to the house covering the door and 4 windows where someone may be able to gain access.

The image has always been clear and every person or animal that comes in view of the camera is immediately recognizable. The best parts about the Arlo are the features. There are so many security features built into the software and with a recurring month to month payment you can have access to all of them including emergency response from fire or police department.

You can even trigger a really loud siren that emits from the camera when you get an alert of someone passing by the camera(this one is free). Motion alerts are very sensitive but you can adjust alerts to only people if your dog or other pets pass by too often such as mine does.

The physical camera also has a privacy shield that when activated covers the lens and mutes audio. Also note that audio can trigger an alert to your phone if you want it. The great thing about the Arlo app and software is the ability to highlight exactly which motion is detected by placing a green box around the person or animal that it detected passing by so you know exactly where to look.

The downside to Arlo is having to upgrade to a paid version if you want to use all the features including a timeline of the days events caught on the camera. At this time, you only get to view the alert one time and the rest is saved to the cloud which is restricted by a pay wall.

The subscription is cheap however and definitely worth it to protect your home. If you ever need to, two way audio is available as a free feature for this camera but note that there is about a 1-2 second delay and the “live” video is not actually live.

Overall, the Arlo covers basically every feature that one would need in an indoor security camera. I would highly recommend.

The DV5-2 has great feature but needs to better designed for police use. 1. The red and green led light ( power on and recording indicators) gives your position away at night. 2. The record activation button has to be push several times in order to activate recording.

3. The clip on to the camera will break. Needs a new mounting system. Great recording and night vision. Perfect sound catching capabilities.

The Boblove body cam that I purchased base 720, 1080 and 1296 resolutions. I find that the videos come out over processed. To contrasts, to much saturation and a bit dark and grainy on 1296 resolution video resolution.

The camera works as described but its really only good for ten to 15 feet, if you want any clarity that is. Its probably a good body cam but not so much as a security cam. Indoor videos tend to be a bit better than outdoor.

Its lightweight, cute gadget but I really dont see the quality were it counts in the picture. Its got a stupid feature that flashes a red and blue light and makes a siren noise. Anybody that saw that would stop immediately and laugh, maybe thats why its on there.

More of a kids toy than a professional camera. A bit much in price for a toy also. The night visions okay and will light a five foot area, but there are still a small bit of light you can see that would give you away in the dark.

I give it a three because it works like it should, motion sensor and all. But picture quality isnt a go pro by any means.

Relatively compact, good quality image, straightforward external button operation. Surprised it still uses a mini (not micro) USB, but the lead supplied is seriously heavy-duty. Can also just hook up to PC and download images/film that way.

Auto or manual IR option, also supplied (me anyway) with 2x micro-SD to USB readers. Two clips supplied (need to firmly click them into place, but they hold. Used a GoPro croc-clip I had (with swivel-option) to attach to jacket thereafter Boblov to that.

Currently using it for dog-walking – both to record daft drivers as well as dissuade potential dognappers. Recommended.

This camera is everything I wanted in a wearable camera. It has high quality video and audio. I just play music while I am recording and my video has a soundtrack. The battery life is exceptional. I have yet to run out of juice while making video.

It comes with 2 clips so you can mount it for recording scenic drives or anything else you can think up. After recording I pop out the SD card into my card reader. Very easy to transfer video to pc. For the price this camera is a very good value.

I use it everytime I go to a store. Main reason I bought it. Set up is easy and video is truly high quality. Construction is perfect. I use a backing in my shirt pocket. It is a bit heavy but the pocket backing remedies that.

Since I have a CCW, it’s a great piece of mind. Something to think about for potential buyers. It comes with 4gb SD card and a usb card reader. Complete instructions. If your not tech savvy, have a loved one or friend set it up.

Highly recommend it.

Good product, but not the best. It’s good for the price and has good image and sound quality. If you need a mid grade body cam this could be for you. It’s fine for what I need it for. If you need super image quality, stabilization, etc.

, you will need to spend a lot more.

I’ve been through a dozen mini cams, micro cams, body cameras you name it. The battery always seem to be the limiting factor with 1-2 hours. Usually Im on amazon, but decided to poke around ebay using and ran into this torch like camera.

This body sticks last me nearly a full day on the job. cheers!.

great camera and everything else but just having a major issue with the SD slot where it won’t recognize the SD at all format it to a FAT 32 like the instructions says and it still won’t work with a 32 GB and went out and bought a brand new 64 GB SD card 10th generation and still wouldn’t recognize it had to take it to a few places still wouldn’t do anything but the internal memory still works perfectly fine just trying to figure out exactly what kind of SD card that I can use for the external with it out keep saying does not recognize no SD or something I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on.

Pyle has always done me right. Just wish it was transferable to mac.

The features of this camera the same as the ones police officers are now wearing. I wanted something a little less obvious when I wearing it. Its a great body cam with all the features you would need.

It may take a minute for you to fully understand all the operation of this camera.

This device works well. The beveled lens allows for excellent coverage of a wide area. The sound and picture are pretty good. I like that it has 2 different clips for attaching it to clothing (one of the attachments swivels and raises/lowers).

I wish that it had a manual enclosed. It is best if you have a shirt with a pocket to hang it on. If you do not have a pocket, a lanyard works ok. but it does bounce around the picture quite a bit while walking.

Pretty good bang for our buck!.

Its relatively easy to use, etc. No problems per se, but it is relatively heavy to hang from a shirt, apart from work. Battery life? Blah. Remote control? Blah. I can’t see a reason to use it , on duty nor off duty Image quality? Think like your phone Don’t dunk it.

Would I buy another? Nope Recommend to anyone? Nah. h.

I purchased this Trancend DrivePro Body 10 to replace my prior model, which was lost. They are fundamentally the same except the the new model has a removable chassis with the clip on it, as opposed to the older model where the clip was attached to the camera body itself.

I liked the older model better as it was lighter and thinner. However, this is still a great camera for daytime, nighttime, rain, whatever. It’s rugged and very functional.

Purchased recently as an upgrade to 4k from the sony CX410VE which still gives super HD video and if the AX53 performs as long I shall be more than satisfied. As well as the higher resolution video, the impressive lens, with super zoom capabilities the additional eye piece, whilst small, still allows more accurate framing when reflection on the screen simply makes the flip-out useless, an annoyance with the CX410VE.

The use of the “manual” settings is taking a bit to learn but there are some options to fully automatic. Yet the auto settings seem to answer for many situations. The AX53 does have a few issues, as already mentioned the eye piece is too small and does not have a soft rubber surround, the flip out screen is no bigger than the CX410VE at 3 inch and finding a suitable lens hood is still ongoing after one abortive purchase.

But the camcorder is a lovely handful, substantial and adaptable to my hobby needs.

I have several Sony video cameras. Most have a 1 sensor but are not 4K. I bought this one because I needed something more portable and smaller for concerts. The smaller sensor is not a problem. Never use the eye cup viewer.

I would not use this camera for photos. You need a dedicated DSLR for that. Would have liked 2 SD card slots but I understand that Sony had to cripple some features to lower the price. The best thing is using the manual adjustment ring on the front of the lens for on the fly exposure.

I also needed a camera that automatically protected the lens when not using.

I bought the AX53 shortly after the birth of our first child, wanting something that was better for video than my phone (Pixel 3xl). I have zero regrets with this purchase as it’s allowed my to effortlessly capture hours and hours of memories in surprisingly high quality.

When picking a camcorder, picture and sound quality, and ease of use were the only important criteria. I knew 4K was going to be a must, and contemplated spending more, up to 2. 5x more, for HDR (looking at Sony’s AX100 and 700 cams, as well as those from Canon and Panasonic).

I also was interested in trying to find a camcorder that would shoot in 5. 1 surround while in 4k mode, but this wasn’t possible inside the price range I was considering. I’ve owned other Sony imaging products, with my main camera being an a6300, so having a common hot shoe interface was definitely a plus, and I knew Sony sensors are among the best for imagine quality which is what drove me here.

After hours of comparison videos on YouTube and reviews and forum posts, I finally landed on the AX53 primarily for one reason: the absurdly amazing optical image stabilization. They describe it as having what is essentially an internal gimbal, and after hours of usage in a variety of scenarios (walking around, zooming in, etc) I can say without a doubt that this is the greatest feature of this camera.

Generally, if you’re not using a tripod, your videos are going to be annoyingly shaky. This simply isn’t an issue in the vast majority of scenarios with the AX53. It’s the reason I chose this one over the slightly superior imagine quality of the 1″ sensor on the AX100, which is relatively close in cost.

That one has no optical stabilization, so the trade-off in image quality was easily worth it. That being said, I’m also very satisfied with how great the videos look. Watching them using the included HDMI cable on both a 55″ 4K TV and a 4K projector on a 93″ screen, I’m very, very pleased with how good they turn out.

The only really semi downside, which would’ve been better on the AX100, is that sometimes low light videos look less than stellar, especially when compared to what this thing does in daylight. Overall, great video quality though when using the 4K 100mbps setting.

Usability with the AX53, like others on the market I suspect, is what I’d consider comparable to a point and shoot camera. You flip the screen open, that turns it on, and you’re immediately ready to start taking videos.

When you’re done, close the screen and it’s off. This couldn’t be any simpler. Changing shooting modes and settings is also simple, with most of the options being configurable from a button on the main display.

One additional option that I didn’t think I’d use, but that I’m really glad to have, is the dual shooting mode, where you can record videos simultaneously in full quality, as well as in lesser quality.

MP4 files. This enables quick sharing without the need to down convert in situations where you just want to quickly share a video to social media or via text. Great feature. The main downside I’ve seen discussed with the AX53 is the manual image setting controls.

While you can technically set most of the aspects of the image, you can only set one thing at a time, meaning you don’t REALLY have manual control over the image. For me, this isn’t really that much of an issue, given the cam’s auto mode does a pretty great job of getting things right in the vast majority of scenes.

This may be a huge sticking point for those who desire complete control over things like aperture, focus, and WB, though. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the AX53. It does it’s job very well with no nagging issues.

Even though it’s a couple years old at this point, the image quality is very good. I would highly recommend this one.

I really like the compact factor, the convenient and easy mounting options. The quality and stabilization of the recording is also top notch for something at this price. I would say this is comparable to a GoPro in terms of video quality and stabilization.

However, the biggest problem that ruined the Insta360 GO 2 for is that it overheats. It’s suppose to be able to get about 30 minutes of video recoding with its onboard 32GB if recording at 2k 60 fps.

However, I mounted this on my bike and it was only able to record 5 to 8 minutes at a time, then the yellow light would start to blink, indicating that the camera is overheating. I was willing to overlook the lack of 4k recording due to its size and the quality of the video.

30 minutes of recording isn’t even that long, especially because there is no removable battery either, so you would have to stop, put the camera back in its charging case, wait for it to charge in order to record again.

I was still willing to overlook this. However, overheating while I’m riding on my bike is unusable. A lot of action cameras will overheat, but they tend to work just fine when I actually use them for action, moving around, biking, etc.

Yet, the Insta360 GO 2 still could not record longer than 8 minutes for me. How unfortunate.

It’s a Body Cam, but when you receive it, the Manual will say Rexing Dash Cam. I thought I was sent the wrong item at first, then I looked over the Cam itself, then realized it’s the exact Product as shown on Best Buy.

The Manual is okay, but it may be confusing to some people who are not used to these types of devices. But I can’t really complain because for the good deal price – this Rexing Body Cam has a lot of cool features! I can’t believe it’s very long recording duration — When I turned on the Display it says 16 hours on default video quality of 1280x720p 30FPS! I did a few test shots and the quality is pretty dang good for it’s price! The Night IR mode is pretty decent also.

It’s sound recording is also pretty good! All that being said, I hope this’ll last for a long time — It comes with a 1 year Warranty that you can extend to 18 mo. by Registering it online!.

i am not sure why it loses charge after sitting a few days powered off. The internal clock should take much power when off. Also, the user manual does not match functions of the item nor does it describe settings and functions clearly.

For example on voice recording only: the manual says to hold voice buttons for 3 seconds to activate voice recording. Not the case, you have to tap the voice button 3 times to activate. Other examples as well.

the product does not connect properly with mac or desktop. i recorded several videos and have taken bunch of photos but when i connected to the computer, it connected for about a minute or two. After opening one video the camera disconnected itself from the computer; when i connected again, the video i opened previously now gives me an error message.

the file crashed and i lost the video. i called the customer service and they are temporally closed due to covid.

I purchased 2 spy point cameras 1. 5 years ago. I find them of great value. While the cameras capture images of everything from bears to porcupines, importantly, we use them to take photos of people/vehicles that enter our remote property (very limited cell service).

The photos from both cameras are excellent – very, very clear. They are still working great. I purchased Spypoint because they are a Canadian company and therefore good quality. I am now going to purchase the Spypount cell camera.

It might be difficult to find a spot where cell service works, but I’ll give it a try and then post a review.

I bought several SPYPOINT cameras. If you’re lucky you should get about 2 months out of one before it needs an update or it doesn’t work at all. Then you have to deal with customer service. they either don’t understand you, make promises and statements that aren’t true and do not send emails to back up their promises.

This is a terrible product and bad company to deal with. The pictures were okay when the camera did work but you could not read a licence plate from 25’ away even. I have owned a Link LTE , Link Dark , and a couple Link S cameras.

My review applies to all of these cameras and SPYPOINT itself because of the terrible customer service.

This is a great camera, and I have had many other that cost more that aren’t as good as the Force 20. It’s easy to set up and takes super good photo’s. I run this camera on 3 mp and it is still the best photo you could ask for in a game camera.

I have now bought another one and will try out the video next. The night time photos are very good and the trigger speed and sensitivity is the best I have personally ever had. I tested rechargeable Panosonic Enolopes in the first one and they are proving to work well with the camera and are lasting a long time.

I bought more rechargeable for the second camera and expect to never have to buy batteries for them again. I have had other camera’s in the past that would not play with rechargeable. If you can do without frills like sound and a multitude of bells and whistles then this basic and reliable camera is for you.

All this and it comes with a 16 mg. memory card and usb card reader for your computer/. At 100 bucks and down depending on where you find it for sale, you cannot go wrong with the Spypoint FORCE-20.
