Used my porter cable I bought in the 90 from you. Have been using Best of show Wax for 20+ years and wanted to try the Poly Wax. Very easy to remove compared to wax. Did 2 coats as I’m a little OCD. Its been a month and time to wash car as I now live on the beach.

This stuff is great! How it works best for me: fully wet a sponge, wring until damp, put a dime size + spot of liquid on one end, rub in circles over glass (use elbow grease where the icky spots are) resulting in a not so consistent thin layer, let dry, wipe off with old 100% cotton tea towel.

I’ve found you don’t have to get a thick or consistent layer of liquid it just really needs to at least pass over the entire glass at least once, maybe twice for good measure. IMO a damp sponge helps to spread it out a little better.

Oh, my! Nothing beats Glass Wax Cleaner for the inside of the car’s windshield. It takes a few minutes to let the wax “dry” before buffing, but it really gives a streak-free, clean windshield. I also like to use it on the inside surface of my home’s windows.

This was my second purchase of the same product. So I have reviewed it once before. I used it on some windows that had heavy dust/dirt on them and the first cleaning took about 90 % of it off. It goes on easy and also wipes off completely, taking the dirt with it.

What is difficult is waiting for it to dry between the two processes. It is not like other cleaners where you try to clean and dry right away but better because there is no streaks.

An absolute must-have for any at home waxing no matter what type of wax that you use. I give it four stars because it does take a little bit of scrubbing at times to really get it off but I trust it especially in sensitive areas.

It does feel a little bit Greasy, but a good wash with soap will take it off. Better a little greasy than accidentally removing hairs!.

The picture and description show it’s 6 of them but I only received one. I can get 1 for under $6 so not worth it if it’s not saving me any money. It actually made me waste more money and now time having to return it.

I used this product on three different floors. Two of those were just in need of freshening up, with some areas needing some extra oil. Here the result was the best. I also used it on some fairly scratched and scuffed pine varnished pine floor boards.

Although this oil is not really meant for this kind of surfaces, the floor looked a lot better after two generous coats. Just remember that a more generous coat needs longer to dry! I think the info about the area which can be covered is about right, it really depends on the condition of the floor.

I covered all the floors with two coats, and still managed to do quite a large area with a relatively small amount of oil. We saved several thousands of pounds using this product instead of sanding the floors down, which is a destructive process, and re-sealing them.

We have no experience yet how long this treatment will stand up to our intensive wear. But as we have used other Osmo products successfully in the past, we have trust that the exercise will have been worth while.

I’ve been using this product for years. It is a great preservative for plastics. It leaves no white residue. I’m not sure I’d call it a wax. The first ingredient is water and the second is silicone. I don’t use it on the exterior paint but it works good on the door jambs, hinges and under the hood on the plastics and rubber.

This is a very good product with an affordable price. The application is almost effortless. And it has a decent staying power. I have also found that it makes tar removal so much easier. It will not remove it like a wax, but it makes it possible to almost wipe it off with a wax, without the elbow grease normally required.

I’ve used Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax for several years and its the best spray wax I have found so far. I use it on my cars, truck and boat and its works great to maintain a high gloss shine. It does a very good job of removing bugs , light grime and road tar and works on glass, trim and even interior plastic and vinyl surfaces.

I use this to keep my vehicles clean and protected between washings since its so quick and easy to use. Its really reduced how often I need to do car washes and has kept the paint looking new for several years.

Because of high price we debated whether to give it a try. after reading other reviews we decided to give it a go. lovely smell to it. nice packaging but the real answer. did it do the job?. YES DEFINATELY.

We use it on our older but well looked after cars. one a z c ar 16 yrs old. shines and reflects like new. Also on our yellow crossfire, again a brilliant luminous shine. the we tried our olsd landy also yellow but with cellulose paint- brilliant.

This is NOT tarnish remover. Tarnish is a chemical reaction caused by an alteration of surface metal something akin to oxidation, plus maybe galvanic mineral electroplating over time, due to exposure to plain old air, plus moisture, plus any minerals from water that may leave a residue if you dont wipe off any water after each use.

To reverse that chemical reaction (tarnish), you need another chemical to reverse the oxidation that has occurred on the surface of the metal. Most faucets, especially, non-stainless steal, have a clear coating applied by the manufacturer.

If you read the care and cleaning info that came with your faucet, youll likely see cautions to not clean it with anything other than clear water. This product is designed to remove mild surface gunk and provide a wax finish that serves as an additional layer of protection for the factory finish.

If your faucet is tarnished, its already too late to protect it, and the factory clear coat has already been compromised. The only way to remove tarnish is to use tarnish remover, which you ONLY use if the faucet is indeed, tarnished, otherwise you will damage the clear finish.

If your faucet is already tarnished, and after you use a tarnish remover designed for the type of metal specific to your faucet, its even more important to apply this or similar product on a regular basis, because your faucet finish is already damaged and you need a polish/surface coating to protect it.

The only way to protect metal faucets and fixtures from damage is to clean them REGULARLY as directed by the manufacturer AND ALWAYS wipe off any water mist, drops, etc. after EVERY USE. AND periodically apply a wax or mineral oil, unless the manufacturer care and cleaning info that came with your fixture forbids it.

Furniture polish companies talk about waxy build up as something to be removed. In reality, that wax coating is what you want. Its what wax is for. You dont want wax on wood furniture that only has an oil rub finish, but for any other sealed wood surface, wax is the best way to protect it.

Yes, wax hazes and merges with dust over time, but thats what its supposed to do. trap crud in the wax. To remove the cruddy, hazy wax, you just apply a thin coat of fresh wax to dissolve the old wax, wipe it off to remove the dissolved old wax, then apply a new thin coat of fresh wax.

Same goes for metal surfaces, and some quartz resin based sinks (again, always consult care and cleaning info that came with your engineered stone sink). This stuff, like most wax polish or mineral oil products, are intended for protection and regular maintenance to prevent surface damage, not to repair or reverse damage after the fact.

Pro tip: Dont buy rubbed oil faucet fixtures. Theyll look good for a year or two, then its downhill fast after that. They are basically stainless steal with a tiny bit of brass electroplating which is in essence, pre tarnished, then coated with a lacquer finish, or some synthetic version of such.

If its exposed to water, its only a matter of time before the clear finish hazes or peels off. At that point, there isnt much you can do except maybe to gently steel wool all the remaining surface coat away, then apply a brass tarnish remover and learn to enjoy your now shiny, bright, brass fixtures, because once the oil rub is damaged, you can pretty much only remove it to reveal the shiny brass electroplating underneath the original oil rub.

I am over the moon with how this transformed my 12 year old oil-rubbed bronze shower fixture that gets daily use. See before photos, then wrapped in an old tshirt soaked with white vinegar for about an hour.

This removed a lot of gunk but left the finish sorta dull. The Flitz polished and shined it and it looks spectacular. The After photo is a week later – I wanted to make sure the water didn’t strip away the finish but it looks as good as new.

The faucet wax did not work as well as I had hoped. I have oil-rubbed bronze fixtures in my bathtub/shower. They were showing wear from cleaning chemicals and water stains. There was some improvement after a couple applications of the wax but not restored to an almost-new look.

The wax did nothing to improve the look of the brushed nickel finish in another bathroom.

My daughter loves the kit. When we go it in the mail the lid was broken I called to get a replacement lid and send this lid back the lady was very nice and friendly. She said she would send a new lid out and don’t worry about sending that lid back.

When I got the new pkg in the mail she had sent me a whole new kit. I was so surprised and happy. I kept the new one for myself. And just gave my daughter the new lid. Can’t wait to try it. That what I call great customer service.

I really wanted to give my opinion about this waxing unit because it’s gotten some harsh reviews. First of all, WAX IS STICKY! I think anyone who has not waxed before, should try a professional first to get an idea of how to use it.

Melted wax is extremely sticky, which is why it takes your hair off MAKE SURE TO HAVE BABY OIL ON HAND FOR ANY WAX REMOVAL. Here are the steps I do to make it easy for me to wax: 1: I pre-cut my muslin strips ahead of time and have them ready to use.

2: I have baby powder out to apply on the area before I apply the wax. 3: Before I even turn the unit on, I put a piece of paper under the heater that is large enough to cover any drips that may happen.

I put the collar around the top of the wax can and then put it in the unit and heat it for about a half an hour before I use it. I also put another piece of paper between me and the unit to catch any drips so I don’t get any wax on my counter.

I also put my used stick there after each use. It makes clean up SO easy- just throw away the paper and you’re all done. DO NOT RE-DIP THE STICK AFTER EACH USE. This is for hygiene and keeps your wax clean.

4: I make sure to use the pre-wax cleaner first, (so the skin is clean of any oils and bacteria) and then I use a small amount of baby powder over the area to be waxed. 5: I put on gloves before I wax.

It really makes a difference. I tried to do it without, and somehow always get some wax on me. I stir the wax, dip my stick in and use a small amount and wave it for just a second and apply the wax in the direction of hair growth.

For my upper lip, I start in the middle of the lip and apply toward the edge of my lip. Apply the muslin strip and I let it stay there for almost 45 seconds. I have found if I try to remove my strip too soon, the wax doesn’t come off.

Pull toward the middle of the lip (opposite direction of wax application) Make sure to pull quickly and you can hold the edge of your skin before you pull. Then I do the other side. I use baby oil to remove any left over wax and then put all my sticks, cotton pads, and gloves on the piece of paper and then throw away.

VERY EASY I was told that cortisone cream may help after the first time of waxing as it can help reduce the redness. I also save the lid to my wax (put somewhere where nothing can touch it-it’s really sticky) so that if I want to change waxes I can.

Hope this helps some of you who are new to waxing. Make sure to not spill the wax or you will have trouble cleaning it off of surfaces. I LOVE this kit, and it’s not fair to fault the wax, when it’s usually the user that is having problems.

Just be prepared, and you’ll love this as much as I do.

The product itself is a good starter wax kit. However it does not include a bottle of the pre epilation powder or oil which you really should use before waxing. The biggest issue for me is the wax. It is not a good wax at all and lifted skin on my legs, their hard Brazilian wax is much better.

We are extremely pleased how well this wax restored the color and shine to all our wood furniture, wood blinds, and kitchen cabinets. We used on everything from 110-year-old Amish buffet furniture, to a 30-year old grandfather clock, faded wooden slat blinds, stairway handrails, and 5 year old table tops and kitchen cabinets.

It spreads far, the bottle covers a lot of area, and we have only used half the 16 oz bottle. Be sure to shake the bottle before the first use, until it becomes liquified like shampoo thickness, because the wax may ‘set-up’ when sitting on the store shelf.

It is real oily and greasy when putting on. Let it set for a full hour to really absorb into the surface, then wipe to blend in the oil and shine. We used a white tee-shirt to apply the wax, and a microfiber rag to wipe it off after an hour.

The wax adds a soft “eggshell” shine to the wood. Very pleased, and recommend it.

Shopping online with Walmart is quick, easy, and dependable; you can be sure the item is available when you are notified it is available for pickup. The products, usually shipped to the store for free, are quality items.

I highly recommend shopping using their online ordering system. The Feed-N-Wax appears to be a good product; it is a very thick consistency that is easily applied. I m not sure why they recommend a 20-minute wait time before buffing but I follow the instructions.

I normally use a lemon oil on wood products and could find no difference in either the application or end results. To me, the wood looked exactly the same using either product. Lemon oil is easier to use but leaves a “residue” that need to be absorbed into the wood; Feed-N-Wax leaves no residue once you buff the wood 20 minutes after application.

I tried another new product for smearing money on my truck yesterday. Turtle Wax ICE Spray Wax! I must say I am very impressed with the results! I have been waxing it with Turtle Wax Black Magic for 6 years to cover the scratches and dings from the previous owner, who had no respect for this vehicle IMO, and have been happy with the results.

The Black Magic however takes a lot of work to remove and buff, and does nothing to hide haze and swirl marks. This Ice spray goes on easy and buffs fast. I did not pre clean or strip the old wax off, but it was pretty much gone.

The best thing about the ICE wax is you can spray it on everything! I sprayed it on the glass, paint, trim, plastic, everything. It leaves no residue and makes even faded plastic look better! This truck has needed polished for years to remove haze and swirl marks, I don’t have the equipment to do it, so it never got done.

The ICE wax hides all the haze and all the swirl marks, the finish looks the best that it has since I have owned it! I will definitely continue to use this product on the black finish, Not so sure about the blue Mustang, but we will see.

Black is so hard to make look good, haze and swirls are nearly impossible to hide, until now. I had stated that i would never buy Black again and excluded black Mustangs from my search, If this product remains available I would recant on that statement.

The only negative I found was it took an entire $12 bottle to do the truck, but depending on how well it holds up, it might have well been worth it. Now that this truck has to sit outside it will be interesting to see how long this product holds up.

I purchased this item because before the re-invent and rebadging of this brand, the previous synthetic liquid wax was much better. After using this one time I threw it out. Advance will not refund or exchange for another product so I trashed it right outside the store.

Not worth a dollar.

I am old school and have used many different waxes and exterior treatments over the years I’ve been detailing my cars and trucks. This stuff is the simplest finish protectant I’ve ever used and the results are spectacular.

For you other old timers who remember using the old paste wax or even some of the liquid creams, you will also remember how they loved to jump onto the plastic and rubber no matter how careful you were.

With ICE you will never have that problem. It coats everything on the exterior surface (excluding windows) with ease and beauty. The finish is awesome on paint and the chrome, plastic and rubber looks just as good.

It nice to know the entire exterior is protected and I don’t have to reach for a different product to cover each surface. It seems to hold up as good as the paste waxes and even you disagree, it goes on/off in less than a quarter of the time.

The directions don’t lie and you will certainly want to use microfiber cloth for removal.

First I washed the vehicle thoroughly always wash vehicles first before you ever wax or apply any type of ceramic or wax finish. I am a 66 year old man I have been detailing cars since I was 13 years old so there’s not much I don’t know.

I sat down and thought about how I would apply this to my vehicle first I got a good size micro cloth naturally brand new and I started to apply the ceramic wax all over my vehicle using it generously completed that within about 25 minutes on the entire suburban went inside got a drink of water came back out bought a brand new microfilm cloth with me and started to buff it out by hand I felt like with this one I would do it by hand not the buffer the first time just to see how it would come out and get the feel of doing it with my hand which I like to do sometimes more rewarding.

I noticed right away the finish came up nice immediately also always good to give it a little time before you start buffing it out took my time carefully going over it very thoroughly very satisfied with the brilliant results.

Even got a little bit on my window and got a little bit on my chrome front bumper and so on which cleaned up very well wasn’t hard to remove like some of your chemical based products can be very hard to remove from your Chrome and windows sometimes you have to use a razor blade scraper.

Really very impressed with this product and believe me I’m not impressed with very much stuff these days this was easy to apply and I received phenomenal results afterwards I put a picture up there for you to check it out vehicle looked absolutely beautiful.

I would recommend anyone to buy this product now I want to see how long it lasts ceramic is supposed to last a lot longer than your normal waxes so let’s see how it does. But at this point I am very impressed.

And I am also impressed and how easy it was to do believe me you don’t need a buffer to do this it was not much exertion and took about an hour total to do this whole suburban needless to say I am pretty quick but still an hour was not much time to get the results that I received.

I was so excited to get my new Griot’s ceramic wax product. I polished then applied my new ceramic to my FJ Cruiser everywhere except the windshield. Smoother than a babies bottom!! I was indeed impressed because I have been a very satisfied Griot’s customer for over 15 years and this stuff appears to be the “cat’s meow”.

Then I went out in the backcountry in SW UT and in the Arizona strip with some fellow Jeep owning friends. They too were pretty impressed, until after we aired down our tires and headed out. My pristine, slick and slippery FJ turned into a dust magnet.

After 80 miles of puckerbrush roads, the silver FJ looked reddish-brown. No problem, hose it off and hit it with a good hand washing using Griot’s car wash, and Hi Ho Silver, it looked great again (and the wash and rinse water just slid right off).

Great product!!.

Very quick and easy to apply. Gave a nice gloss and smooth finish to the touch. One of my cars was parked out side and it rained on the car. When the sun evaporated the standing rain drops I was amazed that there were no residue spots on the finish.

It looked like I had just waxed the car. I just applied my first ceramic wax to my 40 foot motor coach and it was fast and easy and looks fantastic. Since I have no usage history yet I only hope it will last a reasonable amount of time (6 or more months) would make it a fantastic product.

I have used your Speed Shine product for years and I always recommend it to people who ask me how I keep the finish on my other cars a 2002 yellow T bird and 2014 silver Porsche 911 paint finish in “like new” condition.

This was a horrible decision for me. I wanted to see if the name brand was better and it is not. My ears aches all night long amd now they are clogged worse than ever. I have tunnel hearing in my right ear which was not there prior to using this product.

I was using another brand which was helping but i felt like it wasn’t getting the wax. I won’t ever use another product in my ears again. Especially this one. Buyer beware. Plus the inactive ingredients are terrible in my opinion.

I get wax buildup in my ears very easily. After trying qtips (not advised) hydrogen peroxide, witch hazel (ect) nothing seemed to help. Then I discovered Murine ear wax removal system. You put the drops in your ears, and allow the drops to get in by laying on your side for about 10 minutes per ear.

Do this for 2-3 days, or until the wax has softened. Next, fill the bulb syringe with warm water and squeeze into your ear. The wax looks really gross coming out. But, your ears will feel cleaner, and you’ll be able to hear better.

If this works for me I’ll be amazed. Tried it tonight for my 1st time and I wish now I would have tried it this morning when I got it. I was so scared to try it, but I feel its gonna do its job. Maybe I could have heard my customers a lil better today.

I’m gonna report back in, cuz I feel this is gonna ROCK! Crossing my fingers.

This is the first time I’ve ever waxed at home. This wax worked well with the warmer I purchased. The issues I had were probably more due to me being a novice than from the product, itself. I found that it was incredibly sticky.

There was a fine line between getting enough product for a good pull and getting too much, leading to dripping on the floor. I had a good end result, though. Hair was removed in one pull. I didn’t get ingrown hairs afterward.

The little bit of rash that I got was no different than what I got at the salon and went away quickly. My only issue was how sticky EVERYTHING got. Again, I hope that this improves as I use the product and improve my technique.

First off Im very familiar with the Gigi products and really like them. They work have never had issues with breaking out etc. I bought this for my personal use at home since it’s less clutter to have an very quick and easy to setup and clean up.

Do you ever get the perfect consistency? No lol it’s usually too hard or very watery but just keep stirring and it gets less watery. So yes it’s messy a bit so definitely be patient and like anything else with time you get the hang of it! I usually pop in for 1 min 30 seconds and keep stirring like crazy and it works apply and bam a clean hairless brow lip etc.

I’ve been using this for years. It’s messy & it needs to be heat up constantly. The most recent one that I bought was super sticky straight from the jar & not solid, which was the first red flag. I heated it up and applied it once it was the proper consistency, but it never dried.

I had to scrape most of it off of my skin before I could use baby oil. It took two hours to get off and there’s still a whole bunch on my floor and furniture that just refuses to come off. I wound up just throwing the whole thing away.

Horrible panic inducing experience.

Easy on & easy off. Only have to use a little so it goes a long way. Used on my solid body guitar. Gave it a great shine. Hard to believe it is PURE wax, though. It has a strong petroleum-like smell.

You cant beat the results that you get from pure carnauba. Nothing else comes close. I’ve even used it on my ’68 Camaro when doing touchup work!

I had one of this home paraffin wax treatments many years ago but it stopped working and have missed it every since. This one is great, however, what would’ve made me give it 5 stars would be including a set of hand and foot mitts – not just one of each.

I would expect this with a small model, but not when I’m paying over $100. 00.
