20 Best Toothpastes For Bad Breath (2023 Updated)

I can’t give half stars, but it’s more like a 3. 5 for me. I like the toothpaste a lot, flavor and consistency are great. As for the efficacy, I guess only time will tell. My dentist mentioned I have enamel wear due to hard brushing.

I hope this toothpaste helps to remineralize my teeth, even though he said nothing can be done to build enamel back up. The price is high for the toothpaste, I usually buy $5 toothpaste at Whole Foods that are also natural.

However, none have the hydroxypatite. I assume that’s why this toothpaste is more expensive. But also, the hydroxypatite is the 7th ingredient on the list of ingredients. The bulk (75%-90%) of any product is made up from the first 5 ingredients on any list.

I wonder if there is enough of the hydroxypatite to truly remineralize. Also, since it stands upside down, there’s always a bit of toothpaste that comes out (even when the cap is closed) and it dries out and it gets messy.

I end up having to wipe it off every few days. I would rather not have to do this to avoid wasting toothpaste and money. In the end, I like the way it works, but I need to research other toothpastes that have hydroxypatite and compare ingredient lists and price to see if Wellness toothpaste is standard or if there’s a more effective and more economical option.

The toothpaste tastes great and feels nice. I can’t speak to how well it’s doing as of yet because we haven’t had it for very long but my teeth do seem to be whiter. I only wish they made a kids version.

I would always sorta roll my eyes at people asking for a kids version and stupidly say to myself, “just use it and your kids will get used to it”. well, not so. Lesson learned. I tried it with my 2 year old and he screamed “hot, hot!!” His little face turned red and he was drooling and spitting and crying and asking for water.

I tried it again the next night in hopes of maybe warming him up to it. same reaction. I tried yet again a few days later and then he started refusing to have his teeth brushed and not wanting to trust me with the toothpaste anymore so I stopped.

So, if you’re hopeful like me and want your toddler to use this and think “oh, maybe it’ll be mild”. it’s not mild and it’s not very kid friendly. Some kids may like it and mine isn’t picky, but he hated it.

My husband however loves it and took it as his own.

I want to start off by saying that USPS lost my order and I contacted Wellnesse though Instagram and was immediately taken care of with a replacement order sent out and tracking info! Was I ever wrong! The toothpaste has exeeded my expectations and I am very pleased with it! My mouth feels really fresh and clean and that feeling lasts a long time! I am following Katie’s recommendation on how to assist in remineralizing my teeth! Please don’t ever sell out to the big corporations like so many excellent natural product companies have done in the past! I wanted to try this new toothpaste and this ProNamel – Mineral Boost Refreshing Peppermint tastes great and is so very effective! I have been using it for a week because I have sudden tooth sensitivity and needed relief.

I have to say that this has given me effective relief and almost immediately. I brushed my teeth as directed and I no longer feel any sensitivity at all a week later! I tried this Sensodyne ProNamel Mineral Boost Refreshing Peppermint Toothpaste and I loved it. A lot of times the peppermint toothpastes are so overly pepperminty that it burns your mouth if you have a sensitive mouth like I do.

This one does not do that. It is just like the label says, just very refreshing without being too minty. My teeth feel nice and clean after brushing with this toothpaste and the bonus of it having ingredients that replenish vital minerals for stronger enamel is certainly worth mentioning.

Got to keep that enamel healthy! This is a really good all around toothpaste for regular, twice a day use. And I plan on using it for exactly that.

I’ve used Parodontax Complete Protection Whitening toothpaste multiple times now. For me, I noticed that even after a single usage, it reduced my gums from bleeding. It has a light mint like taste to it.

I like that even a little bit goes a long way because it is super easy to foam. It is gentle on my teeth too. I also noticed whiter teeth after multiple uses. It also freshens my breath and deeply cleanses my teeth.

When I’ve saw that first time at my grandmas house I thought its kind of ointment. Product is like a mini toothpaste size but don’t need apply a lot. Doesn’t create a lot of foam but does the job. I like the scent.

Recommended by my son’s orthodontist this toothpaste is crazy expensive. eBay had the best price I could find. My son likes it. It’s a premium price product. There aren’t really any alternatives.

The toothpaste is ideal for children as it tastes good and gives the extra cleaning required. Also, aids healing if the gums and cheeks are damaged by the metal braces.

My daughter has recently had a brace fitted. We were recommended by her Orthodontist to use Vitis. The taste is good, so she will continue to use until her brace is removed.

I’ve been looking for a good vegan and cruelty-free toothpaste that is suitable for my gum issues. This toothpaste definitely fits the bill. I have tried all of the proprietary toothpastes, rinses and gels for my severe gum problem i. e. gingivitis. All helped in small ways. I then tried Spotlight Oral Care toothpaste and within the month I had no blood on my pillows, no unexpected bleeding, just healthy gums.

There is no sign of the gingivitis at all, and I am so grateful that I can now feel at ease and not suffer from bleeding gums.

Cannot function without this toothpaste. Have been ordering this product from this shop for over a decade. The prices are always better than Amazon. Now my kids use the same toothpaste and have not had ulcers for a long time, seems like they inhereted my “thing”.

After dental implants, I wanted a less abrasive toothpaste, so looked for a gentler option with fluoride and no SLS as in normal branded toothpastes, Squigle toothpaste fitted the bill for the ingredients it left out, but including fluoride.

My Dental Hygienist gave me 5 stars and said my gum health is now excellent. I believe this to be a much better option for good dental health than other brands. It costs a little more, but it is so worth it.

I love the way my teeth feel after brushing with thisbetter than that just clean feel after visiting dentist. I dont find it vapor rub strong but definitely has a clove taste. Incredibly refreshing and clean feeling.

A tiny bit is all that is needed. Its not like regular toothpaste. It creates lots of bubbles while brushing. If youre someone who brushes hard hoping to achieve that super clean feeling after dental visit then this is the tooth cleaner for you.

This is a bit strange experience for the westener, where we have toothpastes packed in tubes and all more or less mint based. This is packed in small can, from which you transfer tiny, pea sized amout to you toothbrush by small spoon(looks more like claw, included to the product) and have just clove taste.

But once you get used to it, its great, refreshing and producing a lot of foam. It is also whitening a little bit. I simply recomend this paste to at least give it a shot.

I received exactly what’s in the picture and even a cute round complimentary mat for the toothpaste. The toothpaste is just what I expected. Just a smear creates enough foam to brush your teeth properly so it lasts a long time.

Because of its size, I take this toothpaste everywhere with me when I travel. I will buy again.

like everyone, I’ve used a plethora of different toothpastes in my lifetime. I would always see this on the shelf, but never thought to buy it. (I was always a Pepsodent or Colgate Original guy!) A few days ago I thought “What the heck!” and I picked some of this up.

I have alwaysed used the mouth wash, why not the toothpaste? Let me tell you, this is my new favorite! I have always had issues with pretty gnarly morning breath no matter how thoroughly I brush my teeth/tongue/roof of mouth before bed! This is the first toothpaste that has kept my breath clean upon waking up! in fact, It may have worked too well.

As my mouth felt kind of. numb in a way (reason for 4 stars instead of 5. ) But the mild numb feeling is tolerable. It’s that same feeling you get after using the mouthwash! Just wasn’t expecting it at first.

Anyway, great product! Hope it keeps selling because it’s my new favorite! I recommend!.

Listerine Essential Care Toothpaste is the best toothpaste I have used in my entire life. Used properly it keeps your mouth / breath feeling clean all day. Your teeth, gums, and tongue immediately feel clean and fresh.

I just really can’t figure out why they don’t keep it stocked in the store. Have to order online now cause it can’t be found in on the shelf in any of the stores. Very disappointing. I certainly recommend this toothpaste to everyone.

I’ve been using this toothpaste for years. Back when I used more mainstream toothpastes like crest, etc, I had really sensitive teeth. Even using sensodyne, my teeth hurt all the time. When I switched to a more natural toothpaste, that problem went away, but other brands I tried didn’t make my teeth feel clean.

This kind works perfectly. Since most toothpastes taste very sweet, this flavor can be a bit of a shock at first, but after using it for a while, it tastes fine. I really like it and now “regular” toothpastes taste excessively sweet to me if I ever borrow someone else’s.

I think this may be my new go-to for toothpaste because of the benefits that help restore. Most restoring toothpastes that I have tried have had a bad flavor and taste gritty and this doesn’t. It has a nice flavor and feels like a regular toothpaste, no grit.

I wouldn’t say it helps reduce sensitivity. I don’t have crazy sensitive teeth, but after whitening I do and this sort of helps and reduce the sensitivity. It gets the job done. Taste minty like toothpaste should.

So this is my first time using a charcoal or in this case a coconut derived charcoal (had to google what that was) toothpaste. I’m pleasantly surprised! I do have sensitive teeth so using Sensodyne is a great thing for me in relieving sensitivity.

I’m excited that I have a new option now. The toothpaste is not gritty at all which is what I was expected but it does foam up pretty well. Because it foamed up I feel like I had more liquid in my mouth when brushing and had to pause a few times to spit out the excess.

I was surprised that my whole mouth turned black but it easily rinses out when finished brushing. Again not sure why I was surprised but the minty taste is really nice and refreshing. I know it says it’s minty, but in my mind I was thinking charred coconut flavor which it’s totally not.

I’m not sure if my teeth are whiter since using the toothpaste but they definitely feel cleaner!.

I have always liked Sensodyne toothpaste, it was never my first choice but I liked the way it cleaned and it really helped with sensitivity especially after I have gotten my teeth whitened in the past.

After trying the Sensodyne with charcoal I have to say it is my new first choice! I have used charcoal in powder form in the past and it was too messy and hard to get out of my teeth, but adding it to this already great toothpaste was genius! It really helps whiten and still helps with the sensitivity issues.

I am very impressed with how clean my teeth feel afterwards and how noticeably whiter my teeth look! It took a few times using it to get used to the charcoal, I realized I was using too much, so I just cut the amount in half and then it was perfect.
