I’ve tried a number of toothpastes throughout my life. Arm Hammer were introduced to me by my cousin who has by far the whitest natural teeth I’ve ever seen. I started using it. In 2018 during my pregnancy I decided to change up my toothpaste to something a bit more natural.

I am very impressed with this toothpaste. I remember purchasing arm and hammer toothpaste years ago. I also remember it being difficult getting past the baking soda taste and it took some getting used to with the original formula.

This was one of the first brands to offer a more natural alternative for toothpaste. This toothpaste left my mouth feeling extremely clean and fresh and the feeling lasted for hours. It is very effective at brightening the teeth and removing surface stains, me being a coffee drinker noticed it right away.

I wanted to write a review after using this product for 6 months. Within the first month I could see a slight difference in whitening, you just need to follow the directions and not rinse after using the first step.

After two months of regular use I started getting compliments on how white my teeth were so I kept using it! Now at 6 months my teeth are pretty much at the shade of white I would like them to be. But I also buy the Crest 3D Whitening Strips that you only use for like a week to help maintain the white and also boost it a little too.

With that combo my teeth stay really white and I’m even a smoker, wine and coffee drinker! So I definitely recommend this product because it works if you follow the directions correctly and if it isn’t showing you the results you want quickly enough then do a week or so of their whitening strips! I’d been buying the original Crest 3D White (blue tubes) through Subscribe Save – a great toothpaste. One month Amazon substituted this Crest 3D White Brilliance (white tubes) instead. I was NOT happy as the tubes were smaller and seemed more expensive.

But I didn’t get around to returning them so decided to try them out anyway. I’m a tea and coffee drinker so stain removal is both important and can be a challenge. I was genuinely flabbergasted how much visibly brighter my teeth seemed even compared to the old blue tubes, which at the time were way better than any other toothpaste I’d randomly tried.

The texture was ever so slightly different, I think maybe a slightly different abrasion compound. I was nervous about the potential for too much abrasion but asked my dentist who assured me Crest 3D White is fine and effectively endorsed this toothpaste.

What happened to the formula?! I have used this toothpaste for so many years and always loved it. the most recent tube I bought (with the new packaging) has a horrible taste and actually makes my breath bad…worst part is it makes my mouth numb.

I don’t have sensation in my tongue! I didn’t realize it was the toothpaste causing the problem at first. After I brush, the numbness would stick around for a few hours and then disappear. To test out if it was really the toothpaste causing the problem, I stopped using it for a few days and the numbness went away.

I used the toothpaste for the first time again today, and my mouth and tongue have been numb all day and night!!… And I am starting to freak out! Thank you for ruining what was a great product. I will be writing you to try and get my money back.

I was suLesson learnedper skeptical and I have to say that after one week of using this product according to directions (twice daily for 2 minutes) that it works to whiten teeth! Now, they aren’t Chicklet white, blinding white, which is fine.

It’s not a drastic difference, but my teeth are noticeably whiter and brighter than before. I recently had a professional cleaning and was considering the Whitestrips, which I’ve never used. I will offer one point of caution.

if you are a scrubber, as I am, and tend to brush hard and fast. don’t. I am diligent about brushing better, not harder. So, a bad habit is being broken, which is a good thing. My teeth have lost their mild yellowish cast and look bright, which is a good thing.

They feel clean and look great, the product seems to work. My only question is this. is it the product or the fact that I am spending more quality time brushing and caring for my teeth that before that is making the difference? The tube is smaller than your typical toothpaste, but for how well it works it doesn’t bother me. It says it has the highest level of hydrogen peroxide in toothpaste (4%) which is what is contributing to the whitening.

Besides that, it tastes like any other good minty toothpaste and I am happy with my results so far.

But this Crest ended up working so much better with the hydrogen peroxide. I saw a noticeable different from the very first use. I didn’t experience any sensitivity and the mint flavor is not harsh. My wife is very sensitive to mint, literally burns her mouth but she was able to use this just fine.

My mouth was left feeling very clean but I think the brush you use always makes a difference too. I would definitely recommend this for stained teeth. It works very well.

I’m always looking for a toothpaste that actually whitens my teeth noticably. This hydrogen peroxide toothpaste from Crest does just that. It has a nice fresh mint taste , but it does have a bit of hydrogen peroxide taste to it.

I don’t mind it since it’s not too overpowering. As soon as I start brushing with this toothpaste, it creates a foam in my mouth. I can tell it’s really working at cleaning my teeth and making them extra white.

I’ve been using this for awhile now and have definitely noticed a difference in my teeth color. They are so much brighter and look sparkly white. Everyday I’m noticing my teeth getting whiter. Plus I feel great knowing my gums and teeth are much cleaner.

I really hate what’s happened with mass market toothpastes. I loved when Aqua-Fresh had a wide range of different toothpastes—-probably had at least eight or ten very different choices. For some reason, Glaxo-Smith-Kline seems to have abandoned Aqua Fresh for the most part, only offering a few different types now, no coupons in the newspaper, etc.

So that brand, Aquafresh, is still good, maybe the best. but not what they used to be. And basically, you walk into a drug store chain, one of the big ones like CVS or Walgreens, and almost all the shelf space is Crest and Colgate.

Ditto, supermarkets. It was much better when there were a lot of choices, a lot of different brands and all distributed nationally and readily available at the pharmacy and supermarkets. Now, it’s almost like a Colgate-Crest monopoly.

I decided to try this one because I read that it’s basically the old Gleem formula, now under the Crest umbrella. Well, it’s not bad, so I can recommend it. But it isn’t the Gleem I grew up with. Doesn’t look like it, only slightly tastes like it, and of course it’s Crest.

First glaring difference is that the best Gleem from yesteryear had bluish-green tiny crystals in the white paste. This doesn’t. Flavor is not as good as the old Crest, so you don’t want tobrush longer.

The strength of the best Aqua Fresh is the great flavor which makes people tend to brush longer. Anyway, this isn’t THAT Gleem you remember, but it’s still pretty good. As a side note, go ahead and visit the dollar stores if you want the real classics that still taste like the real classics.

Pepsodent is excellent. Close-Up, also excellent. Basic Aqua Fresh is usually available at these stores too, and tastes like it used to. AIM is also available and might be worth a try. I didn’t ever use AIM growing up, so couldn’t comment on whether it was the original formula or not.

Most of these used to be a dollar for a decent size tube—-now they might cost more or be in a smaller tube because everything seems to be going up in price. I highly recommend Pepsodent and Close-Up, and since I was always a big Aqua Fresh fan, that one too.

One other note—-if you care about country of origin, check the packaging. A lot of them are made in Mexico now, and maybe some in Asian countries, if that matters to you. I believe Pepsodent is still made in USA, and maybe some varieties of the other brands.

This Crest Fresh and White is manufactured in Mexico. Again, I recommend it as a decent choice, but it’s not the old Gleem you’ll probably remember.

I’ve tried a few things here and there and never noticed my teeth actually getting whiter. This genuinely did make a difference and without any sensitivity. I’d say it probably raises the whiteness a couple of shades and then stays at that level it doesn’t seem to me to have gotten any better than that.

But does exactly what it says, whitens and maintains.

Oh My Day! I cannot praise this product enough, i have used many dental floss brands over the years and although this is more expensive, you get what you pay for! It is fantastic!!! I struggle flossing, as i have a habit of gliding floss between teeth and wham, i always end up cutting gums with the stuff, this is the total opposite, so comfortable and even if like me, you get a bit heavy handed and slide floss in to eager – no cutting no pain and no blood from irritating gum line! praise praise PRAISE! I love my Spotlight new Whitening toothpaste. It is the best I have ever tried (and I am quite old and have tried a lot!!!). My teeth are already (after 2 weeks or so) looking whiter than they have ever been.

This toothpaste is amazing. Nothing to envy to leader name brands. Soft texture, and delicious minty flavor. My mouth feels really clean and fresh after brushing it with it. For those who did not know it, it is made by Colgate-Palmolive.

I love Ultrabrite. It works better at cleaning and brightening my teeth than anything else I have used. I pay $1. 00 a tube at local Walmart (so don’t know what this $11. is all about. When the pandemic hit, I bought 12 tubes in case of shortage and have bought a few tubes a month to keep a good supply.
