20 Best Toothbrushes For Sensitive Teeth (2023 Updated)

Recently I purchased a brand new toothbrush. I decided that I was going to go with the Parodontax and boy am I one Happy Customer. This was a great purchase. This toothbrush is a tooth brush unlike any other tooth brush you have ever been fortunate to come across.

Unlike most toothbrushes that run straight across with the brush at the end the Parodontax brush goes offset so that you can easily reach each tooth. The bristles feel amazing and is so soft on your mouth while you are brushing yet they do such a great job cleaning your teeth.

It also has a really good tongue cleaner on the opposite side of the bristles. The handle is coated in a rubber and you can tell it was made with though. These toothbrushes are maybe $6 a piece which can be a lot for a non battery operated toothbrush.

But let me tell you it is definitely worth the price. You will definitely be happy with this purchase.

My gums are not as healthy as they could be so I was happy to be able to try Parodontax Complete Protection toothbrushes. These soft specially designed for healthy gums and strong teeth brushes are by far the best toothbrushes I have ever used.

My gums tend to bleed a little when I brush my teeth but with the Parodontax brush there was absolutely no bleeding. The toothbrush’s ergonomic rubberized grip fits the hand well and there is no slipping while brushing.

The soft bristles are gentle and effective for cleaning and plaque removal. The toothbrush includes a tongue cleaner. Also of note is the 100% plastic-free packaging. I highly recommend the Parodontax Complete Protection toothbrush for anyone with or without gum problems.

This will be my new favorite toothbrush. by a landslide.

I can’t say enough good things about this toothbrush. After reading the packaging I was skeptical about all it claims, but after use I am doubter no longer. I have never experienced such a clean feeling, it was amazing.

As a person with braces I have used the expensive electronic toothbrushes with bluetooth and apps and all that fancy stuff and they don’t come close to how amazing this toothbrush made my teeth and mouth feel.

The bristles feel soft on your teeth as you brush, but don’t be fooled, the longer you brush the more you start to feel how the brush cradles your teeth and cleans every bit, including reaching down between the teeth and basically flossing while you brush.

Depending on how healthy your gums and teeth are, there will be blood, but it is not painful and a lot more pleasant than a pro cleaning at the dentist. This tooth brush is amazing and if you are still reading, you should stop, get up, go to the store and buy everyone in your family one of these, their teeth will thank you.

I’ve tried other toothbrushes, but I always come back to this one. Very soft, good size head (for adults), comfortable to hold, affordable, effectively cleans teeth, and most importantly, easy on teeth and gums.

Piece of advice, run the brush head under really hot water and it will soften the bristles even more. I do that right before I brush and it’s perfect. My teeth/gums are pretty sensitive and this toothbrush is the only one I can use, please continue to manufacture it.

I love the post operative brushes. I received 2 from my Doctor’s office, then ordered two more later. I was told by the Physician’s assistant there that they would not clean well enough after a few weeks of surgery, but after reading through many comments on the GUM site, I went ahead and ordered some more.

I have used many toothbrushes from many sources and except for the one I found at another store; since I have developed gum issues;They are all just too rough and painful. I also ordered regular toothbrushes from GUM.

They are okay but still a little rough. I accidentally ordered too many but I pass these onto my husband. I also still use them for my bottom teeth and tongue. I also ordered mouth wash and floss. The mouth wash was was too much for my daughter who has Gingivitis.

I took it to our Dentist, she approved but my daughter will not use it as it makes her tongue feel numb. The box did warn about that though. The floss was horribly painful, I threw that away. Therefore out of 4 products I ordered, 1 worked well.

I will be ordering more post operative toothbrushes and pray they clean well enough. I also would recommend those for anyone facing surgery or after.

Purchased this brush today because my gums are very sensitive and I have severe gum recession. The bristles are on the stiffer side, and not ultra soft. This is more like a Soft/Medium, definitely not Ultra Soft.

Plus the tips of the bristles are scratchy and hurt my gums. I’ve been looking for a replacement for the Dr. Collins Perio toothbrush, which WAS the softest manual brush I could find in stores and they were awesome but they they changed them for the worse and now the bristles are too stiff for me.

Will keep searching, but this is not it!.

Great electric toothbrush. The brush comes with a lot of extra tips which is nice for sharing with your significant other, leaving one in a travel bag, or just having one ready to go when you’re ready for it.

The brush itself was small at first being you’re average male. But, it became apparent that its smaller size was for a reason, and actually worked better than the larger brushes I’ve been using. It’s able to get into tight spots and all over on your gums.

It’s also extremely soft and was basically exactly what I was looking for! There are four settings for power and vibration ratios that you can easily choose from. I prefer the soft setting for my sensitive teeth.

It did take me a few tries before my gums and lips got used to the vibration from using a regular toothbrush. At first, it was a little tingly. After I was able to start doing full brushes with it on my teeth, I noticed one of the coolest parts.

It stops for just a moment four times and then turns off. Basically, it’s two minutes broken up into four parts, and your upper and lower teeth have a front and back, so it’s 30 seconds per side. Pretty cool!! The brush comes with a charger that is elegant and trouble-free, and it’s a wireless charger, so when you’re down, set the toothbrush back down and it charges for the next time you need it.

Also, the brush is waterproof, I’m not proud of this but I brush in the shower (multitasking!). I’ve used the brush many times in the shower getting it covered in water and haven’t had an issue. The material is that soft plastic, very nice to hold, and doesn’t slip when it’s wet.

It’s also pretty quiet, so it doesn’t wake the wife in the morning! I will say, and maybe it’s because it’s in the lower price bracket than other brushes, but I do wish it had something more than just vibrate, I was kinda hoping for a spinning or actuating brush, but again, it’s a great bargain! Overall I’m really happy with this toothbrush.

If you are looking for a modern electric toothbrush at a reasonable price then don’t look further. The Aquasonic is sleek, ultra-slim, lightweight. It has a good rubber grip and is easy to use. It cleans my teeth better than any I’ve ever had before because of 40,000 vibrations per minute.

This toothbrush has 4 different modes vibration settings and also comes with 8 additional toothbrush heads. It comes with a nice sleek case and a charger cord. The 30-second timers with auto shut-off is a terrific feature to remind you to move to the next area.

Overall if you are looking for a electric toothbrush this is a good deal.

Been using this brush for 2 months after 20 years of using the only real alternative manufacturer on the market. With this elite Phillips brush, you have to brush for well over 2 mins on max setting to get the feel of clean that 2 mins with a non-Philips brush gives you on a medium setting.

The battery on these devices is nothing like reviewed or advertised, mine lasts less than a week brand new. Perhaps due to needing to brush for so long everyday as per my first point. The smart brush head has told me I need to replace it after 5 weeks of usage.

I’ve had electrical problems, brush randomly switching off, sometimes after 5 seconds of running. Not being able to switch it off. Not connecting to the iPhone app and having to delete the device from Bluetooth and re-add it.

The app itself or brush wants you to brush your teeth in 6 sections, when it works much better in 4 in terms of efficiency of moving the brush around so it has rendered my use of the app useless. Overall, this brush falls very short across the board.

The positives. Looks good, the hum is better than the sound of Non-Philips toothbrush motors, although I’m not convinced it’s quieter. The travel case is nice and compact. The app is nice if you need that, but becomes almost pointless as you learn how to brush with this style of brush.

They clean my teeth well, replacement heads aren’t much more expensive than a good manual toothbrush when purchased in bulk, and the batteries can go weeks between charges. I was hopeful Philips’ claims about the 9900 being smarter and more advanced would be a noticeable improvement, but that’s not been my experience.

The SenseIQ on the 9900 is supposed to be able to detect how you brush your teeth and automatically change the brushing function to get the best cleaning. If the sensors detect you not brushing certain areas of your mouth as it thinks you should, it will report such on the companion mobile application, extend the brushing timer, and instruct you to brush them again.

The new A3 brush head is supposed to be an “advanced” or “all-in-one” brush head that Philips claims cleans just as well as their C heads, whitens as well as the W heads, and is better for gums than the G heads.

The big downsides here is the price. Philips is asking a very large chunk of cash for the 9900. Aside from the SenseIQ, the feature set is practically identical between the three Sonicare models I’ve used ( minus Bluettoth for the 6100 of course ).

They all will detect the brush head type in use, they all have three intensity settings, all the batteries will last weeks between recharges, and all clean my teeth really well. If the SenseIQ cleaned my teeth a lot better than the other two, I might say the price difference is justified.

But really, neither me or my spouse can tell the difference. For a toothbrush costing three time as much as my 6100 and $100 more than the 9700 ( current prices ), I expect to see stellar results, and frankly I don’t.

The 9700 was also expensive when I got it, but at least it came with several brush heads and a tongue scrubbing paddle. The 9900 includes only one brush head in the box, and replacement A3 heads cost considerably more than the C2s I use now ( the 9900 can of course use the older brush heads, too ).

As of now, there’s also no compact model of the A brush head. Apart from cleaning performance, I also don’t like many of the design elements of the 9900. The handle has touch sensitive areas instead of physical buttons for power and intensity, which I found easy to accidentally press while I was brushing my teeth.

The charging base is also quite light, which doesn’t stay planted well on the bathroom counter ( the weight of the cord alone is enough to move or prop it up when the brush handle isn’t resting in it ).

I also don’t understand why Philips opted to give it a USB plug and adapter since you already get a USB charging travel case in the box. A fixed AC adapter wart would have been simpler and smaller. Perhaps a lab or a dentist could point out the cleaning improvement of thee 9900 over previous Sonicare models.

I’m sure there are some people with uncommon but specific dental health needs that will see benefit to the 9900, or perhaps its feedback can help a lazy brushers scrub their teeth better. But I’m willing to guess most adults that already have a good tooth care regimen won’t see a difference.

For them, the 9900 is too much for too little.

The Philips Sonic 9900 toothbrush is a super nice smart-toothbrush that feels premium to the touch. It has a support/tutorial app for your phone, as well as a travel case that can also charge the 9900 when on the road.

Plus, it provides real-time tracking as it is cleaning your teeth. It also gives you feedback if you’re going too fast or too slow or pressing too hard. It also has something called BrushSync technology that lets you know when it is time to replace the brush head (brush heads are only good for so many cleaning efforts).

So, how does it clean my teeth: it cleans my teeth really well. When unpacked, the Sonic 9900 included the following items: • Qty 1 – Sonicare 9900 Prestige power toothbrush • Qty 1 – A3 Premium All-in-One brush head • Qty 1 –Travel Case • Qty 1 – USB-A to USB-C Cable • Qty 1 – Power Adapter • Qty 1 – Charging base with 2 parts (USB Powered base plate & Frosted Plastic Frame known as a puck) • Documentation The Puck, which helps keep the toothbrush firmly positioned when sitting on the charging base plate, was missing from mine.

I noticed this after repeatedly seeing an app notification that the toothbrush was not charging. The toothbrush wasn’t sitting exactly in the center of the charging base plate, so I slid it over toward the middle and it immediately began charging as evidenced by the flashing battery LED.

It was then that I realized that the puck was missing. Lacking the puck, which confines the toothbrush to the exact middle of the charging plate, wasn’t an obvious problem when I first used this system.

Anyways, I hope to get a replacement puck soon. Ignoring this charging issue, I think this toothbrush is quite impressive. As you brush your teeth, the 9900 gives you hepatic feedback when it is time to move the brush around your mouth.

For example, you might start brushing your top right molars, then move to your top front teeth, and so on. They recommend spending about 2 minutes brushing, which in the past is longer than I normally would.

If you travel often, you can store the 9900 in the included travel case, and charge the toothbrush directly in the case using the included USB-A to USB-C cable and the power adapter that came with the unit.

For clarity, the travel case is not like an earbud case. It does not contain batteries that recharge the toothbrush each time the toothbrush is inserted. When you plug the USB charging cable into the case, and the power adapter is connected to the USB cable, the toothbrush is charged in real-time.

Do keep in mind that the 9900 has a 14+ day charge, so it is possible you may never need to charge the 9900 using the travel case. Not only is it more powerful, but there is an obvious feeling that my teeth are much cleaner when done. Will I ever brush my teeth more than the minimum 2 minutes to achieve the Gum Health and Deep Clean status, I’m just not sure.

Since the brush heads are technically good for up to around 180 uses, this might be a good time to plan for a subscription replacement plan. After using this unit for only a short time, I understand why a toothbrush like this is the right step toward quality oral hygiene.

With that said, I’m giving the Philip Sonicare 9900 a 5-star review.

This toothbrush is amazing I need about $1500 for a dental scaling. My teeth are fine but my gums are a mess I have periodontal disease and they were infected swollen and in pain. Sine I can’t afford the dental work right now…….

I bought this brush hoping it would help. Not only has it helped it was basically a lifesaver. I paired this with Plax mouthwash and I see the difference in less than seven days. This was the best investment I’ve ever made in a toothbrush.

It has three settings gum whitening and cleaning and it also has 30 second intervals which will let you know which quadrant you should be brushing. It buzzes when it’s time to switch. There’s nothing about this toothbrush that’s not wonderful.

If you haven’t used his toothbrush you’ve never brush your teeth in your life. A must buy. If you have plaque and tarter on your teeth also use bentonite clay with this toothbrush once a week it will be a game changer.

It’s is my second one electric toothbrush. And finally I fall in love with electric toothbrush, first one was same brand but it was much cheaper toothbrush, it didn’t work for me. But this one is amazing! I setup it like first time electric toothbrush user, and it’s work very gentle to help me get use to it.

And even the gentle cleaning my tooth’s so much more cleaner, I had to go to the dentist for cleaning, but I don’t need it now! The teeth are very clean there is no plaque at all! The only one thing that toothbrush looking so dirty, the toothpaste are stuck everywhere, it’s hard to clean, it’s better to buy in white color.

I just recently ended my partnership with a 5-6 year old 9700 model (or the equivalent model for 5 years ago). I knew this time around I didn’t want to spend $200 on a toothbrush. So far, I think the 5100 is basically the same thing for less than half the price.

It might have 1-2 less “modes”, but you’ll most likely only use the normal mode anyways. Personally, I actually like the charger on this model better as well. It’s more of a regular stand-style and is compact on the bathroom counter.

Please, don’t bother with the glass “cup” charger. For one, the glass get’s extremely grimy (you aren’t going to use it as a cup), it’s bulky, and all the elegance of the glass gets removed when you factor in the ugly cord sticking out of the base.

I love this toothbrush its the perfect amount of soft. I hate when a toothbrush says “soft” and its hard, this is not the case with these. They are nice and soft and dont hurt my teeth or gums at all.

My teeth and gums feel nice and clean without the added pain of a hard toothbrush. I like that the handle flexes as you brush and it plastic free packaging. I will only buy these toothbrushes from now on.

Even my 6 yr old grandson says” I like to brush my teeth now because these dont hurt”. Cant beat that!.

Love using this Sensodyne Sensitive Care Toothbrush. The bristles on the toothbrush are very soft, but you still get your teeth really clean with this toothbrush as there is good wide coverage on the head of the brush.

I also like the fact that below the head of the brush there is a flexible point to keep you from putting too much pressure on your teeth and gums. This brush keeps your teeth and gums from getting sensitive from brushing and keeps you from damaging your enamel and gums.

I highly recommend this Sensodyne sensitive care toothbrush!.

The brittles are plastic texture and will hurt your already sensitive gums. It’s not like the Colgate toothbrushes you buy in the states at all. ! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE TO THOSE WHO HAVE SENSITVE GUMS LIKE ME.

Very soft and good quality brush

I don’t know how it’s getting all these good reviews, maybe these people haven’t been using it long enough. I used it for about 2 months and noticed my front tooth and the one next to it felt weird when I ran my tongue against it.

So I stopped using the toothbrush right then. Those 2 teeth just kept getting worse, its like they literally just separated and broke apart. Yes, my front teeth are now broken because of this toothbrush.

In the exact spot I used to start brushing my teeth at. And although it has been almost a year since I stopped using it another tooth is starting to break. This must destroy the enamel on your teeth and cause severe damage to your teeth.

DO NOT USE!!.

This is got to be one of the best electric toothbrushes out there. It hits all the right angles effortlessly. It is very easy to use by just gliding it along the teeth. It cleans back, front and sides of the teeth all at once with it’s triple bristles without you having to turn and manipulate the brush to try and hit all those angles.

It does take a little getting use to because it’s a little larger brush head than others but once you get the hang of it your all good and it will leave your mouth feeling clean and fresh. My dentist office tech always says to me I’m doing an excellent job! I highly recommend this tooth brush and would suggest for those with small mouths to maybe consider the child version, same great clean.

Dentist clean every use. This is a great investment for your dental health. I highly recommend this tooth brush. The three bristle surfaces are awesome at getting into all the right places. The timer is the best part though, it breaks up brushing into for quadrants at 30 seconds each so no more cheating on your teeth with lazy brushing.

The Burst Sonic Toothbrush clicked all the boxes for me. It is very high quality and does a great job cleaning my teeth. This rechargeable tooth brush not only cleans your teeth but also has a special brush-head that really massages your gums much better than any product I have used before.

You do need to read the manual as it does explain the three brushing modes and how to select the modes. The device does have a pause every 30 seconds that you will sense, and this is a reminder to move the brush to another quadrant of your teeth.

It just takes 2 minutes to do a great cleaning of your teeth. Yes, you should use toothpaste with this brush. A good idea is to ensure you use new brush heads about every 3 months or even more frequently.

I like electronic toothbrushes and I know it is important to make sure you have strong new bristles. You can join a program that will send you a brush every 3 months, but the brush-heads are available from many stores.

I noticed that if you enroll in the manufacturer’s brush replacement program, you get a lifetime warranty for the device, otherwise you just register the device for a 1 year warranty. A very nice instruction booklet is included with this toothbrush.

These brush-heads have a small ‘x’ shaped rubber nub that is great for massaging your gums and even for cleaning between teeth – I had not seen this feature before – tip of the cap to the engineers who developed this feature.

When done brushing, your mouth does feel very refreshed and clean. I also liked the handle which is unique in that it has diamond shaped impressions on the handle which does help to control the device.

I highly recommend this innovative and very effective product.

It has taken me this long to reply to your customer service regarding my new burst toothbrush that arrived on June 24th. Yes, I waited to use the toothbrush first before rating your service. I brought out the brush from your packet and turned on to use it; however, the first thing I noted was that it only was running on the highest setting without switching to other settings like it should.

I then started to use the brush which died and needed to be recharged by switching directly to the + sign from the highest setting after about 5 brushes. I made sure it was fully recharged after staying overnight on the charger.

After it was fully recharged, I turned it on to use the next morning and it was running only on the 2nd highest setting ( O ). I tried to troubleshoot it by switching it off and on again and again to get it to start at the highest level to no avail.

I turned it off, waited for about a minute, turned it back on and it still will not revert to the highest setting. Again, it does not toggle between the settings. So far, since It was fully charged, I have been using it now for the 3rd time and it is still running at the low 2nd setting thereby not brushing my teeth well.

Yesterday, I had to use a regular toothbrush to brush my teeth because the brushing is not working for me. I made a video of this and if you want me to upload the video, I can do that. In the meantime, I do not want my credit card to be charged for another brush head until I get this resolved.

Personal preference for toothbrush colors are purple, and green. LOL. Can only find the 360 Sensitive 48% softer bristles toothbrush in 2 stores in this area. This is a problem. Seriously recommend this specific featured toothbrush be sold in every store.

The price is a little high, too. So, also recommend lowering the cost. Mailing coupons for purchasing this product would be much appreciated, too.

Last year I upgraded to a Waterpik electric toothbrush/water floss combo unit, so I don’t really have occasion to use them anymore, but we’ll always have Paris, Colgate 360….

I bought this about 2 months ago and was excited to have the capability of detecting when I push too hard on the toothbrush. I found out that I am not a major offender and it happens less than 2% of the time.

Pros: The unit indicates when I push to hard with I am brushing. Cons: the brush body gets very slippery when the saliva migrates down the brush to the body of the brush. Sometime I can barely hold onto the brush.

The brush heads are only effective for about a month for me. After 3 weeks I begin to notice that my teeth don’t feel as clean as the day goes on. After 4 to 5 weeks, I can notice the difference right after brushing.

I change the brush head and everything returns to Clean and Fresh. I bought a two pack of the brushes, so I could leave one of the brushes in my travel kit. The toothbrush in my kit lost the full charge in less than 6 weeks and I was very surprised when I tried to turn on the brush while visiting my sons house.

When I brush without using the App, the saliva and toothpaste mixture keeps onto the brush while I brush. It gets to the point where I obscures the display that tells me when I have completed the 2 minutes.

It would be nice if the brush generated a different tone, or pause when I hit the 2 minute threshold. The app is a good idea, but I have to stand straight up while brushing in order for the sensors to detect the area that I am brushing.

When I stand straight up I tend to express more saliva/toothpaste mixture onto the brush.

This is a really good electric toothbrush. Furthermore, I think it’s actually important to note that in a day and age where everything is going overboard with smart connectivity and millions of options and settings, this actually doesn’t do that.

It’s as if someone high up said, “You can put modern features in, but at the end of the day, don’t forget it’s just a toothbrush. ” And I appreciate that they didn’t try pander with useless gimmicks.

This does, however, have 2 faults that are making me on the fence about returning. The first is the brush heads. I have this on the extra sensitive setting, and even got the sensitive brush heads. But it’s still not soft.

Feels at least like a medium in a manual toothbrush. And my old model from at least 5 years ago had a replacement head that was very soft. So that came in as a real bummer. The other thing is also a feature in older ones that aren’t in this.

I know it can be personal preference. But in the old one, the vibration would immediately stop entirely when you put too much pressure on it, and immediately resume once corrected. This keeps going, but does notify you by changing the ring at the top of the handle red.

The old way was more of an interruption, and possibly a bit more annoying. But the annoyance of it is what helped curb the habit of brushing too hard. For those where that’s a big problem, the old way helped curb that habit pretty quickly.

Overall, I would say you don’t need to spring for one this expensive, considering it doesn’t have any features that are a true wow factor. And is a bit limiting in areas.

I purchased the Black Onyx IO Series 9 toothbrush a week ago and the features are very nice, however, the traveling case is absolutely terrible. First off, it is all plastic and very cheaply made. The button does not work and I have to use force to open the case.

While using force, the toothbrush and brush fall out. I talked to customer service and she was not familiar with this case and offered no support other than to, “be careful. ” I am very confused as to how this is not a functional issue.

The reason I purchased the 9 vs. 8 was for this case. I travel a great bit and my old Oral B toothbrush couldn’t hold a charge longer than 48 hours. If you do not need a traveling case, then I suggest going with a cheaper model (IO 8 or 7).

The toothbrush itself is made out of plastic and slips through your hand. I love the design, but Oral B is increasing its prices and using cheap materials. My old Oral B toothbrush has some weight to it and a grip, that case was amazing.

On a side note, the Black Onyx does show toothpaste. It will drip down as you brush your teeth. The larger brush head makes it difficult to hold your mouth closed to avoid this. I have a habit of removing the brush head and rinsing everything, drying, then setting aside.

I do not mind doing this, but it is something to take into consideration.

I have tried many brands and types of toothbrushes over the years but this has been the best affordable find yet! I thought it might not work due to having a smaller brush head and softer bristles, but I was wrong.

It actually helps to get right behind the back teeth and in between, while the softer bristles help clean without being to harsh on the enamel (as someone who applies too much pressure when brushing).

I found it at a reduced price in the advance card offers, so bought a few more. My only wish was that it was made from more sustainable materials, such as bamboo for example.

I loveeeee this toothbrush. I have sensitive gums and the dentist suggested this toothbrush that I really like. I like the bristles, the handle is great. I have bought others in a search for a soft toothbrush and found this one the best.

The bristles are soft and clean well but don’t make my gums bleed. I will continue to buy it as it’s awesome.

Sensodyne is basically my go-to when it is question of toothbrushes. I like the way they are designed (they are easy to hold), their colors (pastel pink, blue, green. ), they are available for everyone (from extra soft till firm).

They’re also quite affordable (I got this one from Morrisons for £2. 50). This brand is also recommended by the dentists ☁️🤍☁️.

This is a fantastic little product that wowed me from the moment I opened it. The packaging was extremely sleek and environmentally friendly (no unnecessary plastics mostly cardboard) with a striking midnight blue design complete with gold Philips branding.

Although the brush head was a little smaller than I’m used to, it suited my mouth better. As a result, I was able to reach those hard-to-reach places a lot easier and twinned with the brushes micro vibrations and contoured bristles, left my teeth feeling cleaner than usual.

Another feature I liked was the brushing guidance, as let’s admit it we all lose track of time while brushing. However, the Philips One gives you a little buzz every 30 seconds to remind you to move onto the next segment of your mouth as well as a longer pulse after 2 minutes to tell you the recommended brushing time is up.

The brush also comes with a travel case which is VERY handy as it keeps the brush clean and free from the nasties that may lurk in your wash bag. Finally, the battery lasts up to 90 days which means more brushing those pearly whites and less time digging around that draw for a AAA battery.

Overall, I personally think this is a really great product with an eye-catching design and some canny little features that will enhance your brushing experience for the better.

Pros – Soft Bristle Toothbrush Head is comfortable. 30 second quadrant timer is much more noticeable than the regular Philips Sonicare… Appreciated. One star earned. Cons – Everything else. Way weaker than regular Philips Sonicare Toothbrushes… You have to brush like normal.

The gentle vibrations just add to brushing to make it more effective. Clumsy design on travel case. DEALBREAKER – This KILLS batteries in One Day at a time. That’s what Philips must mean by he “One” name even though it claims 90 days of battery life! The cheap Philips AAA Battery it came with died during my second brushing on the first day.

I figured it was just a crappy battery no big deal. Put in a fully charged rechargeable AAA battery, finished brushing. The next day this died. I repeated with another fully charged AAA battery same thing dead next day.

Unacceptable… Went back to the real deal Philips Sonicare rechageable. Dont waste “One” day of your time on this junk.

A month ago, I started Invisalign. I tend to be someone who goes a little too hard with my brushing when using a manual toothbrush, so I was looking for something that would help me gently and effectively clean my teeth.

while also being something I could easily bring everywhere. So far, a month in, I’d say I brush about 5 times a day on average and prefer this brush over my Oral B electric brush, my manual toothbrush, and any travel toothbrush I’ve ever bought.

I like that it has a auto timer once you turn it on, sanitary case, looks cute, and it does exactly what I need it to. I don’t apply too much pressure because I can feel it pulsing against my teeth as I’m making circles and going back and forth.

My teeth feel clean after and it hasn’t been rough on my gums at all (despite the increased brushing frequency). So far, I love this toothbrush and I’m glad I ignored the bad reviews. It’s made dealing with a lifestyle change a little bit more enjoyable.

Wish it came in more colors!.

On opening the box it is apparent that this is an entry level electric toothbrush designed to encourage people to make the move from their old manual brushes. The equipment supplied is basic and simple but not ugly or unattractive.

There is only one brush head supplied but this should be sufficient for a couple of months worth of cleaning. Setting up the brush was simple and the head attaches to the body with no fuss although it should be noted that the two parts do not sit flush against one another as you might expect.

The unit charges reasonably quickly and is ready to use shortly although a full charge does take a longer period. When brushing the Daily Clean 1100 encourages you to pay proper attention to the time spent on your teeth.

The system runs for two minutes from activation and emits a small pulse every thirty seconds when it is time to change brushing zone. I felt this was a positive aspect in ensuring a good dental hygiene routine was created.

Unlike other electric toothbrushes, which tend to have circular oscillating brushes, the Daily Clean 1100 has a lozenge shaped brush which closely resembles a traditional toothbrush. The difference between the shapes of the brushes allows for the Daily Clean to hum (or vibrate at a high frequency) rather than spin and turn.

Unfortunately, I find the sensation of the Daily Clean to be a little uncomfortable as the vibrations go through my whole jaw. However, there’s no denying that my teeth have never felt cleaner and I will attempt to persevere in the hope that I get used to the sensation.

I feel this is a good product and is a worthwhile purchase for anyone wanting to enter the electric toothbrush market. The only downside I can see is that the sensation while using may not be too everyone’s taste.

I’ve recently replaced my existing Sonicare toothbrush with this model. It is attractive in appearance and comes in pink. Whilst it doesn’t have all the features of the more expensive models, it has everything which I need to give my teeth an excellent clean.

It has a small two-pin charger so you will need to purchase an adapter. It has a battery life of 2 weeks so I plan to charge it on 1st and 15th of each month. I’ve been using Sonicare electric toothbrushes for ten years and have been very pleased with them.

This toothbrush doesn’t fall over easily when placed on a flat surface. My toothbrush is pink.

I have always used a manual toothbrush never branching out onto electronics as i deemed them a waste of money. Oh my how wrong i was. The Philips Sonicare DailyClean 1100 is my first venture into this new way of brushing and it is amazing.

My teeth feel much cleaner compared to a manual brush and i can see a clear difference in the colour of my teeth as they appear now much whiter. The Sonicare is extremely easy to use. It is not too heavy to hold and makes teeth brushing a breeze.

I like the fact that i can split my brushing into 4 sections and the toothbrush slightly vibrates to let me know when to move to the next section ensuring that i get a clean brush against all areas of my mouth.

The toothbrush automatically switches off after two minutes, another bonus as i am not wasting as much battery. The angled head of the brush means i can also easily reach the much harder to reach teeth at the back of my mouth.

The only factor that worries me is no charging icon on the brush so can be difficult to determine full charge. Battery life is good a 12 hour charge means i can use the toothbrush for at least 7 days before it needs recharging.

I am very pleased with this brush simple but highly effective. I am so glad i made the transition to electronic. Thank you Philips.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis is the best manual brush I have ever used. As far as I know they’re only available in a 2-pack. They cost a little more than other manual brushes, but it’s totally worth the cost.

The bristles are so soft. Every time I brush it feels like I just had a cleaning at the dentist. It leaves my teeth feeling smooth and clean. I’ve bought these 3 times already within the last few months just to have some in stock at my house.

They’re usually sold out in stores I shop at so I grab some when I find them.

These really are the best toothbrushes I have ever tried in all my 43 years. The bristles are so velvety and plush and I feel like I get a fantastically clean mouth. These are just heavenly. It’s like a hug for your teeth.

Please do yourself a favor and give these a try. I bet you never go back to your old toothbrush. Thank you, Colgate and Walmart!!.

It doesn’t have a tongue cleaner on the opposite side of the bristles either.

I bought this to replace my Oral-B Series 9000 Genius toothbrush. The iO9 just seems like a really slick evolution of what was their flagship toothbrush. It feels like I have been to the hygienist. I use it with Colgate Max White catalyst toothpaste and it leaves my mouth feeling absolutely sparkling and my teeth feeling polished.

It is very solidly built and has a good weight to it. the addition of an LCD colour screen really makes this feel like a premium product and, when you finish brushing, so long as you have exceeded two minutes, you get a nice smiley face together with your brushing time displayed (it will be sad if it’s less than 2 mins – you have been warned!).

The toothbrush has bluetooth so can sync with your phone to keep record of how well you are brushing your teeth. It also has several programmes to choose from, including sensitive and even tongue cleaning modes.

The charging base is magnetic, replacing the old style where the toothbrush sat on a raised lug on the charger, meaning that the bottom of the brush could get quite gunky, but not anymore. The only thing I can’t comment on is battery life as I have only used it around five times (it’s at 90%) but I’m paranoid and if going away for more than a few days I would take the charging lead to plug the travel case in and charge it, just in case.

The heads are unique to the iO9 so if you currently have an Oral-B toothrbush, don’t expect to be able to use and left over heads you may have, this is a completely new toothbrush and not just an updated model.

If my opinion changes I will update the review, but so far, very very good. i have used Philips Sonicare and Oral-B for years and this is the best so far and seems to blend the best of both brands.

This toothbrush is flippin’ fantastic. I was super skeptical about spending this much on a toothbrush, but am so glad I did. The actual brush action is next-level powerful, like no other toothbrush I’ve ever had in the past.

Quip, Pomabrush, Colgate all pale in comparison to what this badboy can do. I really feel like I’m getting a deep and thorough clean with very little effort. Is it worth paying the extra for the iO9? Personally I think yes.

The app, while not perfect, is actually very good. The mouth map showing where you’ve brushed works well enough to encourage me to keep going until i get all the spots (usually takes me 3 minutes but I persist because I want to get “perfect coverage”.

without it i’d bail at 1:30-2:00 every time). The reporting over time is useful and motivating too, and the warning when you’re pushing too hard, while I feel is a little too sensitive, definitely keeps me mindful of how I’m brushing (this is not specific to the iO9 though).

All in all, this toothbrush is fantastic and I’m so glad I took the plunge and bought it. I would probably have been just as happy with the iO7 (without the app) but having the app is definitely keeping me more motivated to brush more and be more thorough, so for me that’s worth the extra cost.

We wanted to try the Oral b io brush on the recommendation of our dentist and my husband’s previous Phillips diamond clean was slowing. On investigating prices we found it much more cost-effective to buy the 2 handles set from here, though that meant I had to have pink and white when by choice I would have had 2 black.

Only one charger though but we have now ordered an extra charger still leaving it a good deal though. We are both impressed with the action and the clean, sometimes you just have to make a change. When we have time we connect to the app.

which indicates how long you have brushed, any overpressure and how clean your teeth are. I think this isn’t perfect but gives a good general idea about your brushing session. I would prefer if like our old brushes replacement heads came with a toothbrush cover for hygiene and travel or even a case was available.

It has been hard work finding a charger, suitable head cover to order. They should be providrd or at least separately available from Oral b.

After a year of using this toothbrush, it became defective and began turning itself on and leaking brown fluid from the base. It ran for over an hour flashing white and red, with no way to turn it off.

Afraid the rechargeable battery would catch on fire, I called customer service for assistance and spent 20 minutes while the person figured out how to help me get the battery out. Then they told me that my warrantee was negated because I didn’t send it to them to fix.

When I told them I wasn’t sure how I would have sent it leaking fluid and activating itself (you cannot send potentially hazardous products through the mail!), the response was “it would have eventually shut itself off”.

Interesting, considering it was not charged and was continually running. I can hardly get 2 days of brushing before the battery has to be recharged (that’s probably about 10 minutes of brushing total, by the way).

The representative told me the only thing they could do was send me a $15 coupon in the mail, and that it would reach me in 7-10 days. Not wanting to wait that long to purchase a new toothbrush, I called back to ask if they could instead provide me with a coupon code so that I could go ahead and purchase online from their site.

They told me that they do not do this, and I would have to wait for the physical coupon to get to me to use IN STORE ONLY. As a high-risk person, I do not even go into stores during COVID. I was not a fan of the condescending tone of the representative, either.

Will not purchase an Oral-B product again. Handle mildews no matter how diligently you clean the brush and a greedy company with rude customer service is a no for me. There are way too many companies out there that are committed to sustainability and social justice to put my money in a capitalistic company that won’t make things right over a defective product.

This is the first electric toothbrush that I’ve ever had; it was a big change for me going from a manual to an electric one. The smart series is so cool! it helps you to reach your 2 minutes each brush and tells how long to stay on each section of the mouth.

It works really well and makes me feel like i’m getting a really good clean!You can also choose what strength you want to brush your teeth with, just in case you have sensitive teeth. You can also brush for longer if you please.

Or you can also connect it to the app that it recommends. Now, I can happily recommend to others and my husband too.
