20 Best Tool For Hair Waves (2023 Updated)

I really like this wave tool! I found it light weight, easy to use, and good quality. I have naturally wavy hair, but needed something to even out my waves. I wash my hair the night before and let it air dry.

In the morning I add dry shampoo and use the wave tool. It did take a few times getting used to it. The first time I did too many on each section of hair and it ended up looking crimped. I started only doing it roughly twice on each section of hair and it definitely looked more wavy.

I ran my fingers through the waves to separate them a bit and then added some hair oil and hair spray. I was done in 15 minutes!.

This makes beautiful beach waves. This makes hair look 2b-2c wavy. That’s my natural hair type, but this was on sale so I did want to pick it up and check it out. It’s pretty darn wide to make such a nice wave and not a cramp.

The size of it makes it something that’s really great to use for long hair. I was hoping to use this to fix the back of my head when I wake up in the morning and it’s all smashed from sleeping overnight.

With the large size it’s actually not that great for touching up smooshed waves, the bed head mess-behave that looks like a v shape actually works better for what I need. ( but if you do your whole head with the mess behave one you do you have more of a crimped look, not like 80s crimped, more beachy waves crimped).

It’s smaller size and deep wave works well the touch up my wavy hair, because I can just put it right where I need it fix it and go. Since I naturally have beachy waves my waves are not all standard in uniform so it works really well.

If you have straight hair I would highly recommend this jumbo free barrel here waiver, Im sending mine to my sister who has long straight hair.

Waves are def the go-to for hot summer days and nights! I was getting so tired of curling my hair as it 1. Took forever 2. Didn’t hold up in the southern heat & humidity I bought this waver the other day and LOVE it.

I used it on freshly washed & blowdryed hair. Before waving I used dry shampoo for texture, light hairspray for hold, Opalex & oil for frizz, and heat protection. After a long night out I woke up this morning to perfect waves- even after being brushed through and sleeping in a bun! I found if you use it barrels side up then creases won’t show on ur crown!.

I’m not sure what it is but every style tool I have tried from amika has not worked with my hair. And this crimper was no different. I loved the size of the tool, it is very large and would make styling longer thicker hair faster.

One it caused my hair to burn, just like the air dryer brush from the brand did to my hair. Which i found odd because other tools won’t burn my hair at higher temps. My hair smelt burnt for about two washes after using it.

The waves also did not stay at all in my hair. They literally stayed for 5min and then fell. I could not get the waves to hold no matter what technique I used or products I used. It made my hair really frizzy too and took away all the natural shine of my hair.

Overall horrible styling tool for my thick long hair. I had to rewash and style every time I attempted to use it.

Mermaid waves for days! I really enjoyed this tool and would have given 4. 5 stars if I could have. It’s not perfect but definitely great. My hair is very straight and lifeless on any given day. I used the waver on next day hair and it has given me the most fun waves ever.

It gets plenty hot for my hair type but I made sure to use smallish sections so the waves would hold. They are shiny and bouncy. Not frizzy. It did take a little bit of getting used to and the ends can sometimes pop back into the iron sideways if you’re not careful.

I watched a few online tutorials and so covered a few tricks for getting even waves. The hair will slide into place for the next wave if you’re gentle with it. And when doing the top, angle the barrels slightly away from the hair to avoid the crimp line showing.

It’s expensive but I’m ok with the price since I 100% can’t get this look without it. I’m really happy I purchased it.

I just bought this and did tons of research. I read so many reviews and watched videos. I took the plunge last week and was so excited to try it! I have long thick, fine hair that is frizzy before styling.

I sprayed it and brushed it with amika the shield to protect it and as texture. This tool worked beautifully on the left side of my head. When I worked on the right side at all angles, smallish sections, changing the way I held the tool, I could not get a good wave whatsoever.

Maybe my hair is different on one side of my head? My point is, if it could get hotter than 390 degrees I would love it! I’m so bummed to return it. I’m going to have to look for a quality wave crimper that gets hotter.

I would recommend it for anyone who does not need such high heat. The crimps made my hair so shiny on the good side.

I normally don’t write reviews but this thing is amazing! I always used to straighten my hair but over the past year, I’ve been changing up my style. I bought a 1. 5 inch barrel curling iron to attempt beachy waves.

I could never get the look I wanted and had a constant battle to get my hair to hold shape. I discovered this type of hair styler after doing some research online. I was in Ulta one day and spontaneously bought this, I have no regrets.

It had a little bit of a learning curve but I decided that it looks best when I alternate the side of the waver and only do small pieces at a time. That way, it creates a more random look. I love this tool because I don’t even need to use hairspray and my hair actually holds! If I do spray my hair, I like to pair it with IGK’s Beachy Texture spray.

The only complaint I have is how easy it is to turn off the waver when I’m using it.

Purchased one from another store by a well known brand wanted to love it but just made my hair soooooooo frizzy. This one produced the same waves with NO frizz. Was nervous after seeing a few reviews here Mentioning made their hair frizzzy.

But they have to be doing it wrong. If you aren’t doing correct sectioning and pieces that fall naturally together or doing too big of section it will probably for sure produce frizz. But used correctly zero issues with frizz !.

I love this tool! It makes my hair look so fabulous. My only complaints would be that mine arrived dirty almost like it was used? It had gross brown gooey spots on the handle and even scrubbing with goo gone and cleaner didn’t get it 100% off.

I also don’t care for the color or look of it. It’s an ugly salmon pink and white. just has a cheap look to it like some 90’s hair tool. But it works great so far so I guess that’s what really matters.

I love this thing – child of the 80s and this to me is borderline crimping but I love the look it gives your hair. It gets hot so use a heat protectant. I often use this to style next day hair. The price was great, no problems with button functions or heating of the plates.

I’ve had it for several years and it’s still in great condition. Certainly durable for the amount I use it which is maybe once every few weeks. Gives a great beachy/crimpy wave.

I purchased this waver from Amazon. The reviews are all over the board on it and some weren’t even about the waver (as I’m finding a lot that review is about completely different item) I have hair in a bob style cut that is about 1/2 inch above shoulder length.

I wanted something that I could quickly throw in a couple sections when time didn’t allow straightening it to give me that tousled carefree look. It does wave quite well , but it took several uses to get the wave I was looking for.

I find that a second or 2 can change wave to crimped if not careful. I was using my flat iron to get the look. I thought the waver would be faster but Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. It me longer to make it look like I did nothing.

I’m not sure that if I used it more frequently it would be change time it takes for that look but I have read a few reviews see other reviews refer that issue. Pros – adjustable heat setting, It has a lock position that keeps plates together making much easier to store Easy to handle.

Cons – fine line between wave crimp look. I don’t care for how it flips the ends of hair because if your not careful your ends will look bent. All in All it is a quality feeling instrument with a decent price tag.

Well, I bought this yesterday and tried it this morning on my long, fine, thin hair, and it does give beachy waves. BUT, don’t run a brush through it or you will look like a frizzy frightened bottle brush! Lesson learned.

I do appreciate the many heat settings to choose from. Note: Some of our family who have had Covid have lost a lot of hair afterwards – seems to be a common side effect. They are using this tool to fluff their remaining hair up and then style as usual while their hair grows back in.

Definitely has a learning curve. I also don’t agree with Conair’s recommendation for heat temp vs hair type. I have thin fine hair and I definitely needed to bump it up to around 15-20 range out of 30 to get the effect I wanted.

Lower than that it just didn’t do very much. It wasn’t hot enough! I had where the dial is. It’s very easy to move it when trying to use the waver. Other than that, once I took the time to play with it and find what works for me I really like it.

YOU GUYS! Welcome to the 90s vibes section of Influenster. WOW! I had my hairdresser crimp my hair once after a color and I was so obsessed with the look that I had to buy my own! This tool in particular produces smaller waves, and I will definitely be purchasing a second to make bigger ones BUT – 11 out of 10 recommend.

It is so easy to use, takes less than 10 min to do my whole head (and I have a LOT of hair), and with some hairspray I can pull the look off for 5 days easily without the use of dry shampoo. (Don’t judge, I do still shower every day.

GOSH!) 😉 I’ve attached some pics of the results I’ve had with this product. (The Halloween pics were two separate nights, same hair, one day apart, different accessories of course).

Overall I like the effect that the larger barrels have on my hair and so far this product has operated well, but the place where you put your thumb to open the waver gets so hot that after about 10 minutes of use it’s difficult to even touch.

Also, the on/off button is put in a place where I constantly accidentally touch it and turn it off. Another downfall of this product is that the material that is wrapped around the stand melts (learned the hard way)—the weight of the waver makes it so that it shifts easily and it did just that when I wasn’t paying attention and a part of the stand melted.

These aren’t dealbreakers but they’re definitely annoying design flaws.

The Remington 4 in 1 Adjustable Waver is rather on the bulky side and rather difficult to place securely on the countertop because the two small areas meant to keep the unit on its side while using are too small for the size of the unit.

It would probably be more stable if there were a small kickstand at the end of the handle to enhance balance. During use I did find that it was much easier to place the waver on its side. That said, the side tabs (or legs) did not get hot enough to cause damage to the countertop.

Now for the pluses: the small handle on the end of the waver, was necessary for gripping while styling, and stayed cool while doing so. I was impressed by the locking feature that allows the temperature to be locked in while using because the temperature buttons could be easily pressed during use, and also the lock feature for storage is great.

I was happy with the short amount of time needed for the unit to heat. The auto shut-off worked perfectly and in the listed amount of time. The four different wave settings are okay but I noticed the biggest difference between the smallest and largest settings.

All in all a nice styler to have.

I was so excited to get this waver. I don’t always have hours to get ready, so something that could potentially streamline the hair-fixin process was a must! I have fine, medium, shoulder-length hair, and I had no problems using this big ol beast on my hair.

It is a larger tool, but it is simple to use. like a crimper, but not as tight. I like the adjustability of the depth of the waves, but I am going to have to play with this tool some more to figure out the right depth and angle to use it with.

I’m thinking maybe if I alternate each section of hair at different angles, it will look more natural? I did find that when I used this straight on my hair, it made everything look super uniform, and gave my hair a lot of body, which ended up making me look a little too poodle-y.

Again, I’m still working out the kinks and trying to figure out what methods work best for me. Its definitely fun to use and worth getting to avoid using a curling wand or iron.

I am usually intimidated by hair styling products, but I have to say – this was so easy to use and has a lot of user friendly features. To start, the cord is nice and long which isn’t always the case, and it swivels as well so I could move it around with ease.

I received the Hot Tools Professional Nano Ceramic Deep Waver in exchange for my honest opinion. My review is based on my experience with the product only and my opinion of my results. I had a few concerns with this tool at first glance.

First, I did not see an indicator that the tool had heated up enough to use. No light indicator or anything like that. Also I had no idea how to know when to release the clamp. The unit gets very hot.

I was careful to read the instructions for proper use and care. Other than that, the tool worked really well for me! I sectioned out my hair, and I was able to crimp my hair in a very short period of time.

For my hair, which is relatively thin and straight- It produced cute relaxed “beachy” waves. I loved the results!.

I got the Hot Tools Professional Nano Ceramic Deep Waver for myself and daughter. I love how fast the tool heats up and how easy it is to use. This waver works and leaves waves in my hair for up to 3 days.

I do wish that their was some kinda timer that you could set to maybe 5sec, 10sec intervals. It might make it easier to know how long you’ve had the tool clamped on a particular section of your hair.

I think the handle design also gets a little uncomfortable to hold and keep holding closed on your hair after so many repetitions of clamping, waiting, and moving down the hair. Other than these two things I love the look this waver gives and think its a great gift idea!.

I completely love this tool! I have very thin, flat hair that typically doesn’t hold a style well, but I love the idea of a textured wave every now and again. I found this styler at Marshalls and had to grab it to try.

It’s pretty affordable and there are multiple settings for different hair types. I use setting 5 and it’s perfect for my hair. The style lasts for days and refreshes with a texture spray or style product.

I love how it looks and have gotten multiple complements. This is also incredible easy to use, just clamp sections and work your way down. It doesn’t have to be perfect or super precise, so it’s very easy.

I currently have hair just below my collar bones so the width of this tool is perfect right now. If you have longer hair you might consider a wider version of this tool, but I would recommend it if you’re wave curious!.

This crimper works very well in my child’s hair. It gives the hair a nice wave and stays all day. However, the crimper does not like my hair. I went from stick straight hair as a kid to “life has happened” natural uncontrollable waves.

The texture of my hair is also different cause of starting to go gray. This crimper did crimp my hair but after about ten minutes my hair fluffed out like I was electrocuted. So, all in all, great for the kids but not so great for me.

One star off do to the fact it does not lay flat unless it is locked. I am not going to lock and unlock while crimping so I just lay a silicone pad down and put it on there till I am done.

This did exactly what it describes it will do. Reminds me of getting a perm with large rollers. I’ve gotten the same results as pictures I’ve seen in reviews (those with long hair). Takes a little bit of effort to figure out where to place on your hair in relation to the previous placement so the waves don’t looked spaced, but it’s not difficult to get the hang of it.

Temp setting allows for finer areas of hair to receive less heat. I have a lot of hair and it reaches to the middle of my back. I’ve slept on this and the next morning, the wave is still set. The locking mechanism for storage was a good idea.

The only recommendations I make are to suggest having a silicone mat to place on when heated, and to get yourself a comb that is specifically for curly hair; you don’t want to put a brush through this, as it does make it frizzy, but that’s due to how brushes work with curls.

Would love to see a similar product that does larger waves.

I first saw this hair waver several years ago, while I was browsing the hair aisle at a store. I added it to my wishlist of items to try out later, when I had more funds to spend on that and other hair accessories.

Well, over the years I had forgotten that I had wanted to try this product out. When I was invited to review this product, I was reminded why I was so drawn to the hair waver in the first place. With some time and effort from using this product, I’d be able to get those beautiful waves in my hair.

To achieve a similar hairstyle in the past, I’ve French braided my hair, let it stay that way for about 24 hours, and then unbraid it and gently comb out the waves. The downside to that method is that the waves are at a bit of an angle and it doesn’t get the hair near my scalp very wavy, either.

When I first turned on the power to the triple barrel waver, I felt astonished that it heated up to where it needed to be in about 10 seconds. The flat irons and curling irons I’ve used take at least 5-10 minutes to heat up completely.

It was so nice to not have to stand around and wait for it to heat up. I could get straight to my hair styling. Since it was my first time using this product, there was a learning curve for me. It took me about 50 minutes to get all my hair wavy.

While I was working on my hair, I had time to reflect on how I can speed up the process for the next time I use it. I was skeptical of this at first. I have very thick very heavy curl coarse hair that goes to my elbows. It holds curls/straightening/etc well, but it’s a mess. When I first saw this I thought why do this if I could braid my hair overnight and take it out in the morning? Or I had flash backs to crimping my hair in the early 2000s.

Boy was I wrong!! First of all this took me maybe 20 minutes to do my whole head which is a huge step from the hour it usually takes me to style my hair. I was impressed with that alone! But it looked SO GOOD.

i got SO many compliments at work and it wasn’t too frizzy either! It left defined waves that tamed my hair. I definitely will be using this regularly!.

I really want to love this, and there is only one small detail that makes this miss the mark for me and I hope I’m not the only one. I’ve had this for several years and still havent figured out how to get around it.

The small black rubber ring at the end of the barrel. I understand it is there to prevent the hot barrel from resting directly on the counter top. BUT. This ring sticks out too much so when you have your hair wrapped around the barrel and go to slide it off the end, this rubber ring catches my hair and messes up the curl everytime.

It grabs the end of the curl and almost turns it inside out so you get that weird lumpy lopsided curl that you have to redo. Very annoying. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get around this please tell me!!.

It is professional quality for sure. Even the box and packaging are fancy. It is a wand so it doesn’t have a clip like a traditional curling iron of the past. The curling wand is the hair tool of now and of the future.

I saved up to buy this curling wand and I was so excited to finally get it! It works so well and is beautiful! i loved the look of this product SO much! That is why I wanted to buy this specific brand.

However, the curling wand does not come with a heat protectant shield/wrap like the straightener, so I put it in my one that I already had. The white handle is now stained black! I was so sad that I literally cried.

I saved up because it looks beautiful, but now it is ugly. I wish there had been a warning that the white would stain OR better yet, it should come with a heat protectant shield like the straightener.

Don’t waste your money. Buy a regular one from Target. The beauty of this product fades so fast.

Oh my god! I didn’t realize how much I love crimping my hair until one of my stylists did it after coloring my hair and since my hair is so long, it looked like mermaid hair! I then went and bought this because the price was so good!!! I couldn’t believe the price of this, and after using it quite a few times, I can see why it was priced so low….

First of all, the temperature knob is just a circle with no notch to see where it’s at, and it goes around twice. So from the absolute lowest temp to the “absolute highest heat level that’s so hot u shouldn’t touch your hair or it might burn it off” level is really the only two levels you know it’s for sure at! To get in the middle you kind of have to get a feel how long the entire 2 circles are and then make a guess where the middle is.

Then you have to maybe try crimping a couple strands and seeing how well it does and If you feel you have to hold it forever, then maybe slightly twitch the knob up just a tap to make it slightly hotter.

Also, there really isn’t a good grab point to hold the other end of the crimper as you are going down the strand… there is a little black rubber part at the end of the crimper but it really is not as big as you would think that holding part would be, and if you have it near the end of the temperature circle, there’s no way you can really hold it haha and also, after you start crimping your hair, it takes quite a few tries until you get used to where you should put the crimper on the strand of hair as you go down it.

Too close to where you crimped the first notch, and it starts to make the crimps look really weird. Do it too far from where your last crimp ended and it looks every weirder cuz now you have a huge space in between your crimps! So after using this a lot, I can totally see why it’s priced so low, but I still love using it! Because my hair is so long, sometimes it’s super hard to curl my strands because before I’m even done curling the strand I run out of room on the curling iron cuz my hair is so long.

So this doesn’t give me that problem cuz you have to crimp, then scoot down, crimp, then scoot down, etc…So like I said it takes a couple uses to get really used to. Plus as you start to crimp the strands that are more in the back of your head, it starts to make your arm tired haha but luckily it’s not TOOO HEAVY of a product to where you can probably get threw most of your hair before this starts to happen.

Also, the temperature knob is pretty easy to hit on accident with your hand and then all of a sudden, your hair is smoking and SIZZLING so loud with so much smoke even with just a second of the crimper on your strand, that you’ll know you hit the knob.

However, there have definitely been times when I wanted to style my hair but didn’t want to use the curling iron, and then realized the crimper was exactly what I wanted to use instead of the curling iron and it actually worked a lil quicker at styling my strands! 🙂 for the price of under $22-$25 i believe, this product is totally worth it!.

I love my Wave Artist! I think I have the original one from when it first came out, like 8-9 years ago? I am pretty certain mine does not have a temperature adjustment on it, which is why I’m docking a star.

My hair is incredibly baby fine and thin, won’t hold a curl for anything. With this, I get nice beach waves that last all day long. I use a heat protectant, followed by light comb through and hair spray.

The waves just get better as the day goes on. The only complaint I have is that it makes my hair have a weird almost burnt hair smell all day until I wash it out. My sense of smell is very sensitive, so maybe it just bothers me more than the average person.

I never notice any damage to hair though, it just makes it stinky. I think I’ll upgrade to one with temp control and see if it helps.

The Bed Head Wave Artist is one of my absolute favs! The waves last for DAYS! It’s incredible! My hair is naturally wavey/frizzy bleached/hilighted. I have used it on both short length hair and long hair it’s perfect for both! The VOLUME it gives is AMAZING! My daughter is always asking me to use it on her hair as well! It’s easy to use, it does have a slight weight to it but I think that’s necessary with the design.

I have had mine for over 5 years and it’s still just as perfect as say one! No chipping or damage! I love it it’s super affordable for all budgets!.

This tool is perfect for beachy waves! I’m a big fan of the natural grungy/rockstar hair style from the 90s and this tool helps me achieve that in such a short amount of time. I have bleached ends and I tend to avoid using the Deep Waver on them because it gets so hot.

My hair is naturally straight and I’m far too lazy to spend 40 minutes curling all my hair. The Deep Waver allows me to achieve some volume and style in less than 10 minutes! Mousse and styling products can be used to make the waves more pronounced, but I prefer the relaxed wave look.

I love the color! But overall it’s just- ok. I have been using “wavers” since crimping was cool in the 80s. But, I have to hold this on my hair FOREVER to get waves, and they don’t hold nearly as well as the other wavers I have.

The placement of the on/off and temp controls are terrible. I always hit them by accident. It’s SO HEAVY. I have a ton of long hair and have to take breaks. Carpal tunnel? Tennis elbow? I would definitely choose a different one.

I am very happy with this purchase. My hair is thick and silky and it worked to the effect of what it promises. I used normal hairspray from the drug store and it keeps the wave nicely! Just for an idea of when you’ll receive the item: I bought my item on june 19th.

It was part of the june 22nd preorder and it was shipped on june 25th. I recieved it July 10th with all that’s going on in the world I felt that was great timing considering how delayed postage is. Great product.

I haven’t tried any other products like it so I have nothing to compare it to. The company really does well with sticking to its mermaid theme even with shipping. The wand gets very hot as promised.

It works, I have owned it for over a year now. Excellent quality, I hope that never changes. I’m big into trying to reduce my impact on the environment and this has lasted longer than most my other brand tools.

Because of this I have also purchased their hair dryer and the lilac wave tool which I both love as well.

This iron is very easy to use (watch a video tutorial and you’ll be all set) and creates nicely shaped beach waves. It is also very fast since the iron does the work and you’re not having to twist and twirl either the iron (clamped iron) or your hair (unclamped wand), to create your curls or waves.

However: I have coarse, thick hair and I am finding that the waves I get when I use this beachwaver really don’t have much staying power compared with my standard traditional (clamped) curling iron. I think the difference is the metal itself: my traditional iron is titanium whereas this beachwaver is ceramic.

I find I have to crank the heat level up quite a bit higher (to 410) to achieve results compared with my titanium iron, where I can get very long-lasting (easily till my next shampoo) waves at a heat setting of 390.

I’m keeping this new beachwaver anyway as it is useful for when I need to style quickly and/or if I’m wanting a looser wave look, as then I don’t mind when the curls ease out over the coarse of a day or so.

I would just suggest being aware of this especially if you have coarse and thick hair as I do. I wish the beachwaver came in a titanium option. Perhaps the pro model (which is a combo of tourmaline and ceramic) might work a bit better in this respect but of course, the price point is much higher.

This was a huge disappointment. It didn’t curl my hair very well and didn’t curl the right side at all. The curl would literally just stick out horizontally and I’ve tried several times. It also made my hair frizzy.

I’ve never had that problem with any other curling iron. I decided to keep it because I kept wanting to give it more chances. However now it constantly malfunctions and now it doesn’t work at all. Whenever I hit the button it starts to twirl but then it just shuts off mid- twirl and I know I’m not hitting any other buttons.

Disappointing considering it was not my main curling iron and I’ve barely used it. Reading some of the reviews it looks like I’m not the only one with the malfunctioning issue. I prefer my GHD way more.

It solves all of my hair needs… Whenever I am looking for a seamless, quick solution to gorgeous, volume hair, I always turn to my Beachwaver instead of driving to the nearest DryBar. This iron has a convenient right and left button which makes the process almost automatic! Within 5 minutes, I had showstopper hair that lasts me all night without the use of any hairspray.

It was used to style the hair of the Victoria’s Secret Angels as the Beachwaver was the official hair look in the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

I have used this tool about six times. It does a ton better when your hair isn’t clean. It works at at least day after hair. You pull a small piece out and lay it between the metal plates and then press together.

I recommend using the lock feature as it does take some effort to hold it yourself. It slides on your hair super easy too so make sure you hold it steady. I recommend holding the hair at least 15 seconds if not more.

If you don’t hold it long enough it doesn’t do much. It does leave a wave to your hair but be careful because it’s super easy to make it look more like a crimp. I’m not sure I will continue to lose it.

I just bought this because my high end one tragically broke, and this was the closest substitute at the store. like literally, the only one with deep pockets that came close, to give unusual depth and direction to your beach-wavy hair.

The price I paid, was literally a 1/4 of the price if my broken one, and it had a nice firm grip holder, and felt like it securely fastened for a nice tight seal, so no hair escaped during my styling.

It was honestly, way quicker than the more expensive version, cheaper by far, and honestly wasn’t too hot or too cool. seemed to be good temperature to get the waves to set, without over heating the hair, or not having enough heat, and watching your curls fall, unwind, and straighten.

I really didn’t expect much out if such an affordable product, but was quite surprised at the results. I only wish that it got a tad bit hotter, because it did seem to take a bit longer to do my hair with this one, versus my ultra fancy (now broken one).

Also, if me quick pro-tip. I held the multi-waver upside down when heating my strands for every other strand to give a different direction/dimension to the way my hair fell. My pet peeve, is when all of the curls go into the same direction.

I’m not gonna lie, it’s a little hard getting used to, because the multi waiver itself is kind of bulky and fat in the hand, so contorting your wrist to upside down, felt weird, and the device itself was a bit heavy, especially if you’re holding your arm up for a while, trying to style your difficult to take/press curls.

Honestly, I’d buy it again, and I let my teenager loose with it, and she liked it too; and even better than the old one that we replaced with this one. Glad I bought it!.

I have pretty thick hair and it’s cute but it’s very time consuming on my medium length hair. it takes about an hour or longer. my tips are to NOT use it on freshly washed hair it works better on 2nd or 3rd day hair.

Split your hair in 2 or 3 parts before you use it, it makes it much more even and it’s easier. For me I never found it to be hard to use but it is a little heavy and can get tiring on your arms. I’ve never used it without heat protection so I don’t know if it could damage your hair but I usually use it on the second to highest setting for tighter waves.

I think it’s worth the buy but watch some YouTube tutorials first so you can see what the waves look like cause I don’t think the style is what I expected at least. it’s more crimped than wave but still cute just not what I thought.

I really like this, especially for my shorter hair. I have a lot of hair and thick hair. This didn’t take me too long to do my whole head. The range in temp settings was awesome! The cons are that it is big and bulks and it doesn’t lock, it is more like a flat iron in the sense that you need to hold it shut.

This gets annoying quickly. I have short hair and I can’t imagine anyone with longer hair being happy using this. I’ve only tried the 4th setting and I really like it. I bought it because it was on sale.

If it wasn’t on sale, I don’t know if I would keep it.

I have never managed to successfully curl my own hair before, due to my arms being weak (getting dead arms) and the related lack of skill. Very first attempt at using this one and my hair was done in no time at all and looked like a pro had styled it! The adjustable temperature suits my fine hair well, and the left/right buttons add dimension that I would’ve otherwise not been able to figure out.

Only downside is I did bump the home button a couple of times with the curler close to my scalp, causing tugging, although this is very much user error and by the time I was finished I had the hang of it to avoid the button.

Absolutely love this cutler and wish I had bought it years ago! Zero regrets!.

I’m absolutely terrible at doing anything with my hair, but I bought this for my staff show in attempt to make my locks look lush… my sister in law and I laughed and fumbled our way through the process and possibly on the last patch of hair we went ‘oh ok cool that’s how you do it!’ My hair despite all odds looked fab for the staff do and I got a surprising amount of compliments! But the real winner was the next day, waves beautifully worn in with lovely messy lock that would have before been called a birds nest! Can absolutely recommend! But also suggest a dry run before you hit the town! I have shoulder length hair and this is the perfect size for my short hair! Enjoy lovelies!.

Length of the barrel is good, handle is comfortable to hold, width of curls is nice, although the buttons to spin is confusing. Following the directions on the pamphlet, I catch the end of my strands under the prong and press a button to wind it up.

It’s hard to know which button is which when you can’t see it, so sometimes it wouldn’t wind. My experience with using curling wands is limited, so perhaps with practice it will become easier. I hope the spinning mechanism is long lasting because I feel it will make the whole curling process easy.

It works well without the spinning feature too.

Pros: Create a fabulous wavy look. Very happy with them. Cons: Ok for my mid length thin hair, only took about 5 minutes to do. However on my daughter’s thick bottom length hair it took a good 20 minutes and made my hands ache a bit.

I bought this for my daughter who is currently studying hair and beauty and this is a must! She absolutely loves it, she has naturally curly hair but straightens it as she doesn’t like her own hair but will use the waver :)) absolutely best present i bought !.

Cons: If you’re looking for a cheaper waver than the Beauty works one this is not it. It waves hair but only really gives it a crimp not big bouncy waves. I returned this as the barrels were too slim to do the job I wanted but found a really good Remington one from Boots.

loooove. I carry this with me any time I’m going away. I bought the molly mae pink waver last year and it is my go to hair styler when I’m going for waves. It allows me to achieve a head full of waves in just 15 mins.

I usually finish off with hairspray and the crimps stay in for a good day or two thereafter. Love that it comes packaged thoughtfully with a heatproof case, mat and some hair clips thrown in to help with the process.

I love beachy waves rather than tight curls, this waver is perfect for this. So easy to use too, makes doing my hair so quick! Half the time of curling with an iron. The 10 in 1 spray is also amazing, I use it straight after I’ve washed and towel dried and it’s made my extensions feel lovely.

I like that it’s got heat protection included too. I also spritz onto my hair before I plait it at night to maintain my waves and condition my extensions over night. I highly recommend both of these, especially this package for this price!.

Honestly the best thing I brought for my hair! All these years I could never find a curling wand for my hair because they would always fall out! I have fine thin silky hair so every curl would drop out even the hairdressers blow dry would instantly drop out! But this waver is something else! The curls stayed in for days!
