20 Best Tool Chest For Garage (2023 Updated)

pretty much what i needed. quality seems sufficient. BIG ISSUE can’t open drawers with top down. this is a big inconvenience. i don’t need security. it’s in my home, as i imagine is the case for most folks, AND, the TOP is a perfect work space for small projects, with all my hand tools right there.

PROBLEM: you can’t open the drawers with the top down. defeating the lock is easy enough, but i don’t really want to deface my brand new tool cart. there should be a second LOCK, for the drawers, inside the top, for the security conscious, that can manual lock and unlock the drawers.

i actually have an old craftsman plastic tool box, with drawers, that has such a feature – you can padlock the box for security, but a simple lever under the lid allows the drawers to be locked and unlocked independently.

close the top to keep sawdust and junk out, while opening needed drawer to access a needed tool. then, lock the drawers and lock the top MEDIUM ISSUE parts list and exploded view should be IN FRONT of the instructions, as it has been on the many dozens of self-assembly kits i’ve built over the years.

i mean EVERY SINGLE KIT I’VE ASSEMBLED, possibly over one hundred, has the parts list and exploded view first. SMALL ISSUE bottom open space is a bit too short, so it’s not easy getting cordless tools in and out.

another couple of inches would make it much easier. my intent was to put a multi-drawer socket chest in the bottom. luckily the case for it was press fit, so i could dis and reassemble it in the space at the bottom.

They packaged opposing bolts and nuts, and it seemed so purposeful to separate them. However they do not go together. Also it doesn’t often indicate with words what does certain things are supposed to go in.

You have to look at the cheap illegible lines and deduce for yourself (at least my pages were trash, a third grader would do better work with a crayon) -don’t over-tighten until your done (where you can) Summary: Grab it on sale, it’s great for what it is: a decent enough sturdy enough cart for decent use.

Just don’t beat on it, it will not survive. Cheers!.

I was seriously considering a similar toolbox in black (named after a dog breed) for the same price at the orange big box store, and almost bought it after checking it out in person. Then I saw a $40 coupon for this item, which made the price the same.

Went to HF to check it out. More features, similar build quality and the slate gray color with blacked out hardware and graphics sold me on this one. Assembly wasn’t very difficult and I’m really happy with the quality and appearance.

The dimensions don’t do it justice, this thing has huge amounts of storage. My only dislike is that the closed lid locks all the drawers and you have to open it to use any of them. Might be good for some people but not for me.

I’ll cut the plastic mechanisms off with a rotary tool to bypass this feature. Really a good value for the price. 👍 HF has really upped their game these last few years and it shows. They’re no longer just disposable one-and-done items.

I’ve wanted a good tool box for my garage for a long time. Had a small craftsman box for almost 10 years now, but the drawers were loaded down far to heavy for it. And no room either, nothing had a place to “fit”, just everything kind of forced in there.

In any case, finally was able to order this 56″ from my local Harbor Freight. I REALLY WANTED the 72″, but I simply do not have the space in my garage where I can fit this. I also don’t have any more vertical height as this sits under a shelf, so I can’t add the top box either.

🙁 After ordering I got the call after about 3 weeks that it was in and ready to pickup, and I’ve had it for a couple months now. Trust me when I say you need a Pick Up Truck for this, and you do Not want any type of a “normal” camper shell.

I have a custom aluminum box on the bed of my truck, I can almost stand up in it. It fit inside without issue, but I had to hold the back door up as far as it would go while the fork lift set it inside.

It is Heavy. Don’t think you’re going to unload this by yourself unless you have a forklift. Or in my case I have forks for my tractor which worked out pretty well, just have to be slow and easy. If you don’t unload this right, you will probably drop the box off of your truck.

or worse onto you. One problem I had was getting the box off the wood pallet it comes on. There are multiple wooden blocks built into the pallet to keep it from moving while in transport. And the wheel aren’t actually touching the pallet either.

There isn’t a way to get a fork lift (or tractor forks) under the box itself due to the wooden blocks supporting the box being in the way. And you can’t remove those blocks as they are nailed into the pallet.

very well I might add. The only real way to get the box off the pallet, is to life it from BOTH ends at the same time. Now if you have two strong guys to lift each end, plus someone to pull the pallet out from under the box once its up, then yeah you should be able to get it down of the floor safely.

However, I had to rig up a heavy duty towing ratchet strap down from one of the rafters in my barn. and then use a floor jack to pick up the other end just enough that I was able to pull the pallet out.

Then Very Carefully I was able to get it to the floor. But you have to be careful and pay attention to where the wheels are and which end you let down first, you want the fixed wheel on the floor first as the swivel wheels may cause it to turn as you set it down.

Anyway, at the end of the day I’m really pleased with this tool box. Best tool box I’ve ever owned. Each draw pulls out and pushes in very smoothly, even with a good amount of weight. The drawer locking latch is something to get used to.

My last tool box didn’t have any latches, if you wanted to hold the drawers closed you had to lock the tool box. Wasn’t to enthused with the latches on this box at first, but I’m getting used to it and it’s not a big deal.

I only wish the drawers were setup a little different. The first drawer at the top is a nice deep drawer which is great for my all my sockets on their magnetic rails, which is great. BUT I’d really liked to have had a shallow drawer first for all my screwdrivers in the top drawer.

If I used the current deep top drawer, I would have put my sockets down to the 5th drawer. Also the 4th drawer which I have my pliers, channel locks, cutters and etc. If you lay them all flat, it’d be fine except they take up a lot of space.

When I use my tool organizers which holds them up on edge to save a lot of space, the drawer won’t close as it isn’t quite deep enough and multiple tools hit. If it was just a 1/2″ to 3/4″ deeper, it would clear.

Point being, I think they need to redo which drawers are shallow and deep. And should make the deep drawers to clear tools like channel locks and etc when they are in organizers. But this is just completely my opinion with my particular tools and etc.

I might organize something’s differently than other guys with what I use most, what is easier for me to see, etc. Also I’m 6’4″ and I hate bending down trying to see what screw driver bit or socket size I’m trying to find.

Which my new socket organizers with easy to see sizes took care of that now at least 🙂 Would I still buy the box? Yes for sure. I’ll just have to reorganize my tools into which drawers to fit the best I can.

Really Glad to finally have a decent tool box.

I have waited quite a while to get another box, done my research(kicked all the tires, so to speak) and decided on the US General 56” top and bottom combo. To give background, I have previously owned a $14K Snapon box, and that was great when I made living out of it.

I then down sized to a at home craftsman, and it was just to hold tools. Now that I am working more on my own projects and growing my tool collection, it was time to step back up in size. It is a great mix of well configured space for what I need, and yet I could just as easily use it as my daily if I were turning wrench professionally again.

I can to the conclusion after looking at so many options that the US General 56” top and bottom box offered everything I needed, and at a price that allows me to put more of my hard earned money back into the projects I enjoy.

I’ve seen some harsh reviews, and you tube comparisons that don’t give full credit to the quality. Heck, you get a Lemon in any brand. But if what you’re after is a well constructed, well thought out configuration, then this is it.

Plus, with the additional side bank and locker boxes you can take it over the top and still be into it at a fraction of the cost of the tool truck brands. I will say this, make sure and have a Buddy or two to help you unload this thing! It took my brother and I, plus some heavy duty ramps to wrestle it into the garage, and the top box was also on the heavy side.

Just tells me that it will hold all my tools without any strain. Everything has worked perfectly for me so far, and I am already seeing the need for a second setup of the same configuration. Who knows, on for all metric, and one for all SAE??.

Pros – Plenty of storage, drawers open/close smoothly and appears to be sturdy construction. Good price versus quality/build/storage of other competitors like Irwin, Husky, Craftsman, etc that you would find at the large hardware stores.

Cons – Like someone else mentioned not all the casters are level where just one of them is slightly off the ground. Is this either warping of the entire chest or misaligned caster mounts? The handle recommends a washer and lock nut yet fails to provide them.

I found just a lock nut as I did not have washers small enough to fit. I was unable to tighten the bolt as it appears about 1/2in too short. The threads are slightly recessed on the toolbox and even without the lock nut there is not enough length.

Missed the ITC sale thinking it would last as long as the coupon so while still discounted, I missed out on saving an extra $20. ITC membership has proved over the last year and a half to be worthless.

It is probably only meant for businesses that are constantly buying equipment. I have yet to recoup my initial cost as the only things on sale already have coupons.

Ive been owning toolboxes 45years. I bought this top and bottom, the secret to a good besides build quality, is STORAGE, and the secret is one with alot of shallow drawers because you want your tools laid out flat, not stacked on top of each other.

Deer drawers MIGHT seem good but it’s wasted space. Your not going to cram abuch of tools in a deep drawe and have to dig. This box is deep for and aft, front to back, 22″ each drawer will hold a very surprising amout.

I went from a brand new Husky 52″ w 6 wheels. tooo big,too heavy. And the TRUTH i got all my tools in this box, with room left over, sold my Husky to my neighbor across the street, he loves it, but he is just stating out.

Anyway the build quality is better than you are expecting, these boxes are heavy, sturdy, fit and finish as good as a Benz, i bought orange, i want to get a yellow set, and green, i dont need them for tool, i will empty my 44 inch into one box, remember these are deep, one of the best purchases ever.

I bought this box to make a welding cart out of. To centrally locate my welders, plasma cutter, tools, and consumables. to better organize it. I would rate this as a slightly better built box (& not quite as tinny) than the older Craftsman boxes I bought back in the early to mid 90’s.

The great part was it had the same price point today that I bought those boxes back then. maybe a tad cheaper. So, a better built box (than older Craftsman) at 90’s prices. win-win in my book. I see more and more shops using US General boxes and Daytona jacks nowadays.

This is a great box. You can feel the difference in the drawers and how they open and close compared to the other boxes in this size. Husky, Craftsman and the others bow and have less support. I have watched this box for a long time and they have jacked the price up 600$ from where it was previously.

The pallet the wheels are mounted through is a blast to get out from under the box. Use a sawzall its easy as the wood is like balsa. It burns extremely hot and fast also. Be warned on that as we tossed it in a burn barrel and wow.

Gone in 5 minutes. Very happy with the purchase and it will absorb your tools as the drawers handle the weight well. If the price was at 999$ I would have bought this sooner but for some reason they have to negate the coupons/sales.

This little roller cabinet, along with the matching chest, have been the game to beat in the entry level category. Prices are going up though. Not long ago I bought the same cabinet as a Christmas gift for my son for $299 on sale (along with the top chest at $199).

The new list price of $359 is high enough to seriously look at other offerings, but the $315 sale price still makes it tough to beat. This unit has very good build quality for the price. The wheels could be better.

If you have to move this around regularly you will need better wheels, but most of these chests just remain stationary next to the bench, so maybe it’s not an issue. I could wish for at least one deeper drawer at the top where standing deep sockets could reside.

If you’re using this without the top chest you will be bending over to get your sockets. Overall I’m very happy with it for what it is — a solidly built entry level cabinet.

This tool cabinet is well made, solid, and I found no manufacturing flaws upon receipt and careful inspection. All sheet metal surfaces are painted evenly. The sheet metal construction is a heavier gauge than used in other well-known brands and the base cabinet weight (~176 lbs.

) reflects this fact. Mounting the castors with the included bolts and washers is straight-forward using a ratchet driver and socket. The handle attaches using a 4. 5 mm hex key with the two screws provided.

All eight drawers move smoothly in their sliding tracks through the entire range of motion. All drawers have a tool liner and label included. While suitable for most hobbyist’s purposes, I would recommend replacing the liners in time with a heavier and more robust material for longer life and better tool protection.

The drawers can be secured by pushing them in until the detent engages preventing the drawers from inadvertently opening during cabinet movement. Further, the cabinet lock operates smoothly using the included keys.

The lockable castors and wheels move smoothly and are well-built for this purpose. The handle is substantial enough to move the cabinet without deflecting the sheet metal wall or warping during movement.

I purchased this base tool cabinet separately from its mating top cabinet because I was waiting for a good sale. When the sale occurred this past December 2020, I saved an additional $42 using the Honey coupon code finder.

I compared this cabinet with other tool storage brands and could find no better value for the money and recommend it strongly. Finally, I recommend lubricating the drawer slides with silicone lubricant when needed to ensure continued smooth operation.

Very good for storing my card making supplies: punches well displayed, embellishments, basic tools, embossing gun and folders all organized. Note: did not put wheels on so I can actually use the surface to work.

I strongly suggest purchasing the white glove delivery service. The truck came all the way to my garage doors (I have a very long driveway); they placed the items in the garage as closely to the wall I’d use as possible, unpacked everything, inspected items, and hauled away all the trash (so much trash).

Everything is packaged very well. I’m a petite woman & me & my teenage son was able to install all items in garage properly in less than 3 hours. Another couple of hours & I have everything perfectly organized.

I’m so glad I bought this set. I also purchased the power strip. worked like a charm. There’s enough room behind base cabinet to plug in powerstrip & run the wires behind the cabinet out of site. The power strip came with all the brackets you need to easily mount, keeping everything looking very clean & neat.

My only advice is to measure your space & order only the pieces you have room for. Mine worked out perfectly! Very happy!.

Normally I build my own garage work spaces, but with a new house we wanted something that wasn’t just raw lumber. After some digging, I fell on the NewAge Bold series, found the set that would suit my needs and pulled the trigger.

I was expecting to be fighting with these to get everything level, but honestly, they went up in a night. Once you have a locker level and against the wall, everything that connects to it is beautifully levelled for you.

It speaks to the quality control that everything is produced in nice straight lines. I can always find a fault with something, but with these it’s never anything consequential, like the drawers on the mobile cart are a little harder to shut all the way, or the locker doors can flex and wobble a bit.

Nothing will ever be 100% perfect, but these are dang close. I do wish that they were a little more conservative with the keys included in the hardware sets, I’m sure it’s cheaper to just make a million sets that are all the same and everyone needs a key, but I bought an 8 piece kit and I think I have 24 keys.

and the instructions could use some updating to align with product offerings, but they at least made sense. If you’re on the fence because you’re worried about install being difficult, put yourself at ease.

Focus on the locker and get it perfect, and everything else will just about take care of itself. The support team is phenomenal too, really good about following up with answers and not afraid to admit when they have to ask someone else.

I will 100% get a another NewAge system when the time comes.

I received damage products. It looks like either the pallet was bad or someone put it down at a 45 degree angle pretty hard. I called the number newage put on the back of their cabinets for calling in case of damage, and they went above an beyond to replace the damaged pieces.

They were out of inventory and it would have been months to replace, so in order to replace in quick time they went way out of their way and did some extra work on the warehouse floor. They didnt have to do that.

It was a quick phone call with the very pleasant and helpful customer representative Vanessa, and it was done. No stress for me at all, and I really appreciate the effort they had to put in to make that possible.

I love the products themselves. You can tell a great deal of engineering went into where they needed to make them rock solid, and where it mattered less. For example, the feet and the wheels seem like they are indestructible.

The doors close and lock smoothly. They include extra screws and the like in the box. On top of all that, they are modular! So if I want to expand this setup in the future I absolutely can. I’m giving the shipping a lower score because I am betting that’s where someone put this box down at the 45 to hard, or it was rocking on the pallet or something.

I have an almost identical cabinet by another brand sitting next to this one. They are so similar that I questioned whether they may have been made by the same company? This cabinet from Harbor Freight was about $90 less the competitor and functions identically to the more expensive unit.

There are a few subtle differences, the first being that the steel gauge on the Harbor Freight is definitely thinner but I wouldn’t say it is more flimsy. It is well built and feels solid when you open and close the drawers.

The top appears to be a different material, a laminate possibly versus solid butcher block. Other than that, they are identical in size, design, ease to open/close drawers. My only complaint is the actual purchasing of this unit and the reason I went with another brand the time before was that the Harbor Freight website said they had so many in stock but when arriving, found none to be had.

This particular model was available but based on how I was treated at the time of the sale – it was made extremely apparent that it was going to be a pain to get this unit out of the back of the shop and that it wasn’t what they wanted to do that day.

For that reason, I probably would order online and see if it can’t be shipped and skip the entire in person experience all together. Otherwise, will spend the extra $90 for another brand from another store and skip the grief of the local store.

This would be my 4th Yukon 9-drawer. The design is universally very usable. I got 3 White boxes for inside the house to organize little things you have but can never find when you need them. Put two of them back to back on 6” wood frame support and you get a nice kitchen island with drawers for kitchen tools and gadgets.

Drawers slide smoothly, the casters are heavy but fair quality, the paint finish is glassy smooth and uniform. Comes with mats, keys, casters, pull handle, hardware, a 10,12 mm wrench, and instructions.

The packaging is the most impressively and protective I’ve ever seen with tool boxes. For a DIYer everything can be repurposed or you can recycle it. 1- cut the straps and lift off the top cover. 2- remove the edge protectors, and foam from around the box, 3- pull up and take off the box (the bottom stays).

4- remove foams (tight) and the plastic cover. 5- Unlock drawers to get the mats (Top Drawer) and casters (Right Bottom Drawer). 6- Lock the drawers, flip the box upside down, 7- Install the casters (unless stacking).

Minor assembly of the 4 casters and draw inserts. Exterior paint is excellent. Draw height is sufficient to allow deep wall sockets to stand upright while opening and closing. The draws open and close with little effort.

I recommend placing this box on a bubble level surface. The floor in my garage has a very slight slope and the draws are freely opening on their own. I would recommend that the manufacturer design an installation of a magnetic hold close device.

The toolbox balance is satisfactory. I’ve had multiple tool draws open at the same time with no hint of being tipsy which is reassuring. The casters roll freely with fixed casters on one end and rotational on the other.

I consider this toolbox to be highly comparable to my tall Snap-On toolbox. I enjoy both toolboxes and I am particularly fond of the value (quality vs cost) of my Yukon toolbox. I highly recommend the YUKON toolbox.

The pictures online don’t really do justice to the size of this thing. It’s bigger than it appears. After researching many tool chests from different manufacturers and vendors, I selected this one. It had a good price point vs.

features. What I wanted was a good number of drawers, since other manufacture’s units don’t seem to have enough drawers. The drawers on this unit are very deep, so there is plenty of room for storage.

I like the fact the drawers have different heights. I was able to put cordless drills in the bottom two drawers. It comes with drawer liners, which is a nice touch. The drawers slide open easily enough.

The closed position has a detent that is a little stiff, but at least you don’t have to worry about the drawers accidentally sliding open. The casters are heavy duty. When assembling, I slid the box off the top, then flattened it, then laid the tool chest down on the box.

Given this is heavy, you may need help laying it down or picking it up. I used a 13mm socket with a wobble extension to attach the casters. The handle can go on either end, but make sure you put the swivel casters on the same end as the handle.

The handle is only suitable for wheeling the chest around, but don’t try to lift the chest with the handle. Overall I’m happy with this unit.

I like the variety of drawer depths. Personally don’t like the boxes with a lot of deep depth drawers, things get lost. I want to open a drawer, have tools laid out and get what I’m looking for with as little or no digging as possible.

I have a good assortment of SAE / metric sockets (1/4″, 3/8″, 3/4″) and wrenches, screwdrivers, adj. wrenches, impacts, etc. Room for the 3/4″ sockets and large set of jumbo wrenches also. I would say if you are a “real mechanic” I would think about the double bank and if you are fussy maybe, maybe upgrade to the next level of quality.

If close to a store and other vendors check it out. I have a small farm (smaller equipment) and sawmill operation so my needs aren’t huge. I was getting by with the little Craftsman box and hanging tools on the wall, or putting things on a shelf.

This cabinet and the top box just make things so much easier and a lot more convenient. The drawers seem to work well so far and fully extend. Just had to bolt on the casters and handle. I got the matching top chest also.

So far I am very happy coming from a very old Craftsman my Dad had (60 yrs old??) which is still functional but was limited in storage. Mine arrived in good shape (had it shipped, which took awhile, but I live well over 2 hrs to the nearest store).

Good value. Drawers all slide well. Casters roll well and pivot fine. Excellent function. Easy to assemble. Two minor defects. The four casters do not all lie flat (fourth caster is about 1/4 inch elevation) suggesting a warped frame.

Function is fine however. I do not know if warp occurred at the factory or during shipment. Packaging was excellent however. Other defect is that two lock washers and two washers for the handle were not in the package but should have been according to the instructions.

However the handle mounted fine without the washers, using just the screws. The handle was too wide but I trimmed off 1/4 inch of the outer rubber which then allowed the handle screw holes to align with the case screw holes.

I am very satisfied and would buy again, but I cannot give 5 star due to the apparent warp.

So here’s a quick review of the box. I have both the top hutch and bottom but I’ll just talk about the bottom 10 draw cabinet. The build quality is great the drawers are nice, they’re not flimsy and the soft close works great.

You can fit most of what you would need in them and the additional thin box length draw is great for wrenches or any other tool. The two things I wasn’t happy about are 1: the “socket” draw or deeper box length draw is a little to short.

I have Hansen socket trays and the draw won’t close with them, the tray prongs are a little to tall and I had to cut them, and second is the insert mats constantly shift upward when the draw is closed slightly harder because of the soft close, not the end of the world just a slight annoyance.

Besides those 2 gripes it’s great, the casters are nice, although it’s stationary I had no issues pulling it, the only other small thing and this is my personal preference is a like to keep my tools (and box) clean this thing being red and with aluminum brushed handles makes that quite difficult.

Either way it’s a great box and I would recommend it if you plan on getting the top hutch if not maybe look for something bigger but it boils down to the purpose of the box, mine is used in a professional setting and with the hutch works great, but it’ll work either way.

This was the very best tool chest unless you need a tool truck chest for a commercial shop. I am ecstatic that I got one, but very sad that they are discontinued. I was planning on buying a whole range of these tool chests and work benches as my budget allowed but guess I won’t be able to.

Big Orange and Big Blue’s store brand chests are not even half as nice. Strong drawers that are super smooth. The size of the drawers front to back let’s you fit a range of tools in. The 18 gauge steel and powder coat are tough as nails.

The coasters make it super easy to roll.

The tool chest appears to be well built {weighs 365lbs) with the exception of the locking mechanism. The electronic lock is cheap and if you try to lock the chest with any drawer not fully closed (top or left side drawers) the locking mechanism will malfunction and never lock as designed again.

I returned the first one I bought which is a nightmare since it weighs so much. If you don’t need to lock the chest it will function adequately IMO. If you need to secure this chest on a regular basis I would look at other options.

Milwaukee should abandoned the high tech lock and replace it with a ordinary mechanical keylock. I’m not sure why they were getting fancy here.

I bought thus a few months back. I waited to write this review until it was fully installed and used for a bit. It was easy to install, the instructions covered the “how to” properly. There was a good amount of extra fasteners sent with the product that you don’t have to worry running out or being perfect.

There are extras. The product is well built, solid, has soft glide drawers even when loaded heavy. The drawers came with a felt inside. This makes it comfortable when digging for a tool and keeps tools from sliding.

A great idea and I didn’t know about the feature when I ordered. Nice surprise. Three pieces of constructive criticism: The instructions should highlight the importance of putting the height of the locker to a certain minimum height.

If you put it to minimum as I did, it leaves very little room for the cabinets to fit under the work bench. The under work bench cabinets, two are tool chests and one is a two door cabinet. The chests are on wheel but the cabinet is not.

It would be nice to have the option to put legs or wheels on it, because once installed it will be difficult to move it out from under the workspace. I can certainly see conditions where I want the workbench fully accessible from a sitting position and this cabinet will be in the way.

The top cabinets I installed are level and square. They operate well and are solid to the wall if installed properly. With the door closed, the two doors don’t meet flush to each other, indicating they are not flush or square.

This wouldn’t be noticeable to anyone but me, but it’s frustrating to me. Sadly, the hinges do not have an adjust feature to close the gap. All in all, very happy with this purchase. Great quality and functionality.

Worth every penny.

So I ordered the 9 piece Pro Series red cabinets with the bamboo work top in Nov of 2021 and was given several ship dates. Due to Covid materials shortages (understandable) i ended up not taking delivery on the cabinets until April of 2022 and I wanted to wait a few months to give an honest review after using them for awhile.

A little info on myself, I have been a professional mechanic for 30 years and have built both custom cars, motorcycles, and boats over the years and I demand the best in my tools and organization in my workspace.

I began building my “dream shop” last year and did tons of research on what cabinet systems to purchase and kept going back to these New Age Pro cabinets especially after seeing them in the shops of several nationally reknowned car and bike customizing shops on television and online.

As I said the order took quite awhile to arrive but New Age was constantly emailing and updating me on the order process delays which was really nice and kept me at ease. I had called at one point to see where we were at with shipping and the rep couldnt have been any nicer to me, he took the order number and was having some computer issues and said he would call me right back.

I thought “yeah, ok” but 15 minutes later called back with all the info on the order. That is some great customer service right there. They texted and emailed me when the delivery was scheduled and their shipper was amazing also.

On delivery day instead of dropping them at the end of the driveway they were able to load it right into my shop since I was solo and the pallets were extremely heavy to move. I unboxed them and I have to say i was shocked at the incredible quality of the cabinets, it was far beyond what I had expected at that price point.

The cabinets are very heavy duty steel panels, all quality welds, and heavy duty hardware is included. They are pretty time consuming to put together but well worth the time. I assembled these myself but I would definitely recommend a helper, especially if you are not used to moving around heavy things by yourself.

The colors on all cabinet doors matched perfectly and the fit and finish is top notch. Soft drawer and door closers surprised me as its not common except for my Snap-On tool boxes. The bamboo work top looked great and is really heavy and thick with a quality finish on it.

The shelves are super quality, i have them pretty heavily loaded with no distortion or sagging in them. The keys that were included all matched so only 1 key locks all 8 cabinets securely with a full length door lock which was really useful for me.

Aesthetically they look really nice in my new shop and again the quality is amazing. My neighbors and many of my mechanic friends spent quite a bit of time admiring them and everyone has been impressed with the build quality.

I cant say enough good things about these cabinets, if you arent sure I can assure you that you will pretty happy with these as I am. Great job New Age, alot of thought and engineering really turned out a superior product.

The delivery boxes came damaged, but nothing was dented. However, there was much scratching on the bottom of the two short cabinets. Luckily this is out of sight, so no great problem. Out of the six cabinets that have doors on the front, only one closes properly, and I was told by customer service, that the doors are non-adjustable.

None of the doors line up in the front of the cabinets. Most of them rub on the top or the bottom of the opening, not allowing the door to close and also scratching the white painted finish. Only one wall cabinet closes completely on its own, as they should.

The white paint finish on the perimeter of the cabinets with exception of the scratched bottoms is very nice, but on the front of the doors of one of the tall universal cabinets, the paint finish has glaring flaws in it, and also on the one short cabinet.

The stainless handle on one of the wall cabinets has a chunk out of it. I previously had a sink cabinet from NEWAGE which I think is very nice, and I was excited to have the new cabinet set for my new garage.

Turns out, I am very disappointed!.
