20 Best Toilet Paper For Plumbing (2023 Updated)

We’ve been buying this product for about 50-years and I’m not sure when the changes began but it’s been over the past few years and we have purchased it many times from Home Deliveries USA in varying package sizes.

I could deal with it getting a bit thinner but when the sheet width was cut from 4. 5-inches down to 4-inches my review goes down from the an original 5-stars to 4-stars. I’m tired of hearing there’s no inflation yet packaging sizes dramatically decrease and/or products get reduced significantly.

When the standard size of a chip bag goes from 15-ounces down to 8-ounces yet the price stays the about the same that’s either inflation or ripping me off. In this case Scott ripped off a 1/2-inch of paper from 1000-sheets and the price stayed the same.

Disappointed but not looking for alternatives… it’s still worth it and it’s yet another item that gets a good discount. However, I do like the paper because it still has 1,000 sheets and degrades easily in the septic system so that’s why I’m still purchasing it despite my review.

If your bum needs a lot of softness and a thick buffer between it and your hand this is not a recommended product. However, if you want to be kinder to the septic system and get a decent bang for the buck 1-roll lasts 2-adults about a week then I’d still recommend it.

this purchase came out to about 84-cents per roll but we only food shop once a month because it’s 40-miles away, masks are required and they rarely have this product so SubscribeSave with free delivery to my door is a viable option and the convenience pushes it back up to 5-stars.

I hate paying a lot of toilet tissue, which is why I usually will buy Angel Soft. It works. When I saw this Charmin on sale, I figured it would be softer. Nope, not even close. It’s also supposed to be two ply.

Yeah, if you try hard enough, you can actually find two plies, but they are so thin! I’ve never seen such thin tissue plies before! I think I’ll go back to the Angel Soft once this is gone. Would not purchase again.

Charmin Ultra Soft is one of my Favorite Toliet paper Brands. It doesn’t get stuck to you, it won’t rip while using, it’s Ultra Soft that it’s smooth to the touch lol. The Price is kinda worth it because if I buy any other brand that’s cheaper it will have the problems that I’m not looking for.

I want to feel clean and not worry about tears and leakage going thru the paper. Try it out for yourself, you can’t go wrong with Charmin.

I bought this case to stock up for my family during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are Charmin lovers, but this must have been the leftovers they had laying around the warehouse! This is a waste of money and just awful! The paper is so thin that I didn’t believe that it was two ply.

I had to double check to see if there was actually two ply. Yes, there is two, but don’t know how they got them together without them disintegrating. Not only that, they have these two deep ridges on each roll.

True Charmin toilet paper is not in this box! We do not recommend spending that much money for inferior quality! We will never buy this product ever again! Please let Charmin know how awful this boxed product is!.

I purchase this brand of toilet tissue often. It is very soft and durable. For a family of 4 it lasts us about 2 months covering 2-1/2 baths in our home. I will continue to order it as long as it is available.

I recommend this product to everyone; you will like it too. The price is excellent as well for 24 rolls. I stock up when I can.

I used Angel Soft forever, brand loyalty kinda stuff you know. Tried this because of the convenience of shipping & bulk. amazing! Never had issues w mine usual before but now, it just doesn’t compare! I can’t believe I used such inferior TP w/o ever wondering if just maybe there was a better butt wipe out there somewhere 😉 Glad I found Boxed.

When we can’t make it to our local Costco for mega roll toilet paper ordering from Boxed for the 24 count is the next best thing. Can’t complain about this toilet paper. It’s not rough feeling and good quality.

Love this brand of toilet paper- nice size and not thin! I put a pen on top to help with comparison. Highly recommend is completely price reasonable and will last a good amount of time

My Toilet paper wasnt in a box it was wrapped with with brown tape if I wanted. every body to see what I.ordered shouldnt had leftbeing pkg like that I was very disappointed😒

It is full size 4.5 inches, double ply excellent quality.Not like the Marathon brand paper that they made smaller and thinner because they thought we were too stupid to notice.

First off, the mega roll does not fit in a regular toilet paper holder because it’s so huge. I have one that is inset in the wall and after some pushing it went in but then we couldn’t roll it hahaha! So typically for the first day of use we keep it on the bathroom counter until it gets small enough to fit comfortably and we can roll it without individual sheets tearing off.

So if you have a toilet paper holder like mine, don’t get the mega roll. Now, onto the toilet paper itself. Our family is used to using single-ply so it was an interesting change to Cottonelle. Will we run through a roll quickly by using more sheets than necessary as we habitually do with the single-ply? I’d say that because Cottonelle is so thick we actually use less per use and one roll lasts about as long as our old brand.

It’s very absorbent but after weeks of use find it’s a bit rough on the skin. Not sure if the ripples really make a difference but it does make it feel like it’s thicker. It leaves behind lint (very important!) and it does tear occasionally during more intense wiping, especially if the ripples are held horizontally, they act like a tear point.

Overall, it’s okay but we prefer something softer and not linty. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

Very good toilet paper for a real good price. Compared to buying a multi-pack of toilet paper at the grocery store, or even a discount outlet like Costco or Sam’s Club, this is definitely less expensive.

You get 96 rolls with 500 2-ply sheets per roll which comes to about 0. 36 per roll. It’s not the super thick deluxe type of paper, but does the job quite nicely. And who wants to pay a huge amount of money for something that is just going to be flushed down the toilet? Plus, this type of paper is better environmentally, as it breaks down well and is also better if your home has it’s own septic system.

I would definitely recommend this toilet paper to anyone who wants to save money.

I was first going to buy the big box of Scott but decided on this instead. I am very pleased. Like another reviewer mentioned (a very long comparison I might add but worth the read) I noticed the roll was wider.

This made me glad because I have noticed rolls have gotten smaller over the years. Manufacturers seemed to think consumers would not notice but it was the first thing I saw when the rolls got smaller.

I am happy these are “regular sized” and the quality is pretty good. I would definitely buy again. Hopefully, they do not follow the popular route and downsize their rolls!.

Best value. Ignore any reviewer that disagrees – their math is bad. This is the cheapest toilet paper, period. The only thing coming close is Kirkland. The primary maker for Costco is Clearwater / Shannon Meyers.

According to Fox Business, Kirkland toilet paper is one of their top 5 selling items, making $400 million a year. Thus, Costco likely uses other 3rd party manufacturers, meaning it can vary slightly from week to week, if you can find it (often out).

On the other hand, Boardwalk is owned by Procter and Gamble. Remember, these two toilet paper options are the only ones that’s full sized (4. 5 inches wide). Kirkland is 4 inches long (this is 3 inches).

But, this (at $38 for a larger carton) is cheaper per square foot (even if bought at Costco). This paper seems made for hotels. Most is only 3. 7 inches wide (Scott, etc). Finally, ALL “Mega” rolls cost 2-4 times more.

The math is not hard. Do it for yourself. I had thought I was going crazy. Is my toilet paper getting smaller — when they claim to be getting bigger? Yes! “Mega” rolls are only 3. 9 inches wide (by 3.

9). They are smaller, not larger. You’re more likely to make a mess. Turns out our toilet paper has been shrinking since the turn of the century. Many are now as narrow as 3. 7 inches (Scott being first).

Boardwalk is 22% wider! It literally chaps my hide! While the average American behind continues to widen, toilet paper only continues to narrow. For years, consumers bought a 1,000-sheet roll of Scott’s toilet tissue with each of those tiny little square sheets measuring 4.

97 for 96 rolls, or only $. 006 per square inch. Mega is four times more. My box came pathetically damaged (as pointed out by another reviewer) but none of the toilet paper was damaged (squished a bit but not torn).

And, it is rated higher than Kirkland by others — and I agree. This is my only brand. at least for the many years it will take me to ever use this huuge carton. LOL.

Don’t be dismayed because it’s not “all soft and luxurious. ” That just means “less tightly wound around the tube to hide the fact it’s the paper version of cotton candy, and try wiping your butt with cotton candy and see how far you get.

It’s there, it works, and it doesn’t tear up or leak through. The rolls are generous, though not those “SUPER” rolls that don’t want to fit in your toilet paper holder because they are too swollen. Try it: it’s very good!.

Please don’t ever stop selling this product. ^_^ My TP holder was installed in the wall when the house was built 25 years ago. The jumbo rolls that are the standard now don’t fit my holder. Then, after looking for the right sized roll for a long time, I find this Staples brand TP at my local store.

Hallelujah! I was sorry to see the Bloomingdale store close because it was only 10 minutes from my house. The next closest store is in Schaumburg store, ~20 minutes away, I found what I needed straight away and then enjoyed roaming around ‘cuz you stock so many cool things for the office.

I bought this with the intent of saving money without the compromise of quality. I deeply regret this. There’s not a lot of squares per roll AND it’s so thick/soft that you end up using MORE to wipe.

It literally will disintegrate the millisecond it makes contact. Dry or wet. Take this review seriously and purchase a different brand. I’m gonna ask Staples for a refund….
