First impression: This smells amazing. It smells soothing and mild but also like a good memory of childhood. As a shampoo it lathers up nicely and rinses clear, but I definitely needed a conditioner after using this because it cleans really well.

(My hair is naturally very dry. ) With conditioner and a leave-in cream following a shampoo, it worked nicely. My hair felt like it had a bit more lift and bounce. I’m not sure if it’s the shampoo doing a really good cleaning job, or if it’s the good cleaning job followed by conditioner and a leave-in detangler, but I’ll take the happy result.

I really like this as a body wash, though. The formula is not super gooey. It’s not like a liquid, but not thick like honey. More an in-between texture. It feels good, though. Very mild, and I do love the scent.

It’s a tiny bit like lavender and a tiny bit like vanilla, but something else, too. It’s almost powdery but powdery in a subtle and pleasant way. I’d buy it again simply to wash with and enjoy the scent.

I wanted to try this for my granddaughter who is 1 year old. She recently moved in with me and I only want to use more natural, good quality products for her. I like the ingredients pretty well, although there does seem to be quite a lot of additives which is slightly concerning.

The wash itself is nice and foamy and does a great job of cleansing and leaving her skin soft. However, I am not crazy about the stronger scent. The scent smells strong while washing her, but it does not remain strong on the skin which is the only saving grace about it.

But still, I didn’t enjoy smelling the overpowering scent while bathing her. It is a bit much. Overall, it is a nice wash and a good quality baby product that is non-irritating to her skin. But I would not necessarily get this product again due to the scent.

I received the Burt’s Bees Shampoo & Wash Original for my 5-year-old daughter. We’ve been using Burt’s Bees products since she was a baby. I like that this product can be used for both the hair and body.

It’s has a mild, light scent. It is gentle enough to use everyday for bath time without her skin reacting. I like that it’s made from all natural ingredients and is tear free. It’s pediatrician tested and made without phthalates, parabens, petrolatum, or SLS.

Overall, this is a really nice body and hair wash especially if you or your child has sensitive skin. I would recommend.

I’ve been using this on my little girl for several years now. She had eczema as a baby and I always made sure to use something I know won’t irritate her skin. This has been perfect. Never irritating at all.

I no longer use it as a shampoo because my daughter has dry, curly hair and this (and many others I’ve tried) tend to keep her hair feeling dry. I tried the conditioner that goes with this, but it smelled awful like burnt plastic.

It also just seemed to clump on her hair and never really distribute very well. So the conditioner is not great, but I continue using this product as a body wash and it also makes decent bubbles in the bath.

I use it on her hair occasionally when I’m in a hurry (or in between trying yet ANOTHER shampoo that doesn’t leave her hair so dry). I use the Cantu kids leave in conditioner in the jar afterwards and it leaves her hair soft and smells amazing.

Lovely smell. Gets the job done with a nice lather. Easy on babies skin. I actually use this too from time to time. A little goes a long way and overall great product. Simple and gentle. The lotion is great too.

I bought this for my kids and sometimes still do even though they are beyond baby stage. They like the gentleness of the product and it doesnt bother thier skin. My daughter has sensitive skin, so I make sure she doesnt have to harsh of products available for her use.

Best baby wash for babies, infants and toddlers with sensitive skin. My son has always had sensitive skin and eczema since he was born. Scented products broke his skin out and so I had to look for a gentle wash.

I gave this wash a try and now it is the only wash I use on him. It is very reasonably priced and I loved that it can also be used as a daily face wash. It is lightly scented so it leaves my son smelling fresh without irritating his skin.

I first tried this as a sample I got in one of the baby bags from my baby registry. I don’t remember which retailer but I instantly loved the smell. It is such a light and good smell. I feel like it leaves my now toddler’s skin feeling soft and moisturized.

It’s very gentle it lathers nicely, it has Calendula in it which can be good for many different skin issues and so moisturizing! I got a couple little travel size/samples while I was pregnant with her to try out along with some [brand:aveeno].

They are both really good I like them both but the [brand:cetaphil] baby wash shampoo isn’t available in my local stores. I had to order off of amazon. Same with CeraVe baby products there isn’t any anywhere in my area.

I bought this with high hopes for my 4 year old daughter. She has red, fine, curly hair. This shampoo (along with the conditioning rinse) didn’t work well for us. Using it with the conditioner made her hair look oily and dirty.

Using it alone made it dry and impossible to brush. I wasn’t impressed at all!.

I’m happy that a product with natural ingredients can still lather well. The Hamilton Babies Talented Tenny Shampoo and body wash is a delight to use on my kids. My son didn’t have to close his eyes tight when rinsing and it didn’t seem crazy thick to wash off.

I wasn’t crazy about the smell, I wish it smelled of lavender for our bedtime routine.

Ah – there are so many options for baby shampoos. This one is clean, doesnt have any of the chemicals in it and – honestly the reason we have landed on this one is because my husband does bath time and he is OBSESSED with a good lather.

So far, we havent had any soap-in-eye tantrums, but we like to believe its because we are so good at bathing. ;).

I have been using this product for showering myself since I have many allergies to ingredients and smells. This product is super convenient for me, no allergenic at all, with a subtle nice powdery smell, and all that at the right price.

I haven’t been using it for my hair though, so I cannot comment on that. I love the product and I keep buying it again and again.

I really like this product. Smooth texture, soft and very good scent. It didn’t cause any allergies in my baby, on the contrary, the skin is well hydrated and smooth. So far, one of my favorite products here in Germany.

This is much better than most of the baby stuff available nowadays. Leaves the skin smooth, soft and pleasantly scented. No allergic reaction whatsoever. Most products nowadays give me hives so I have to be very careful with what I use and even smell.

I’ve been using this as just a basic facial and chest moisturizer for a few weeks, and it’s been great so far. My skin is combination, tends to be dehydrated, slightly sensitive to alcohols, acids, and heavy fragrance, tolerates oils well, and needs something of a medium occlusive texture (typically applied after strong Vitamin A treatment).

The benzyl alcohol in this does not irritate my skin. I’ve been applying this with a few drops of squalane in the morning, and a few drops of squalane and rosehip oil in the evening. This formula blends in easily with any oil, in case your skin absorbs oils like mine does.

I wish I could find more about the scent before purchasing. It says chamomile and has chamomile extract water in it as the main ingredient, plus a natural fragrance, so I was expecting a bit of a green, straw, or floral type scent.

But, it just smells more like the oils in this, like shea butter, baobab, and a bit of coconut. All together, it smells lightly like marshmallow or bubblegum, or a bit of a classic sun cream smell. Not in a bad way, but definitely not what I was expecting for something Chamomile! It’s definitely in line with the smell of other baby products.

Light, a bit powdery, and sweet. But, it’s great on my thirty-four year old skin, so I tolerate it. The smell lingers for a bit, but does gradually dissipate. I will try the unscented version next time, though! I have purchased from this company many times over the years, and am always impressed with their quality and their ethics.

I have very dry hands. Must be hereditary. My mom and sister have dry hands too. I really like the way this feels going on. Smooth and silky and a natural fragrance. However, it seems I need to reapply frequently.

There are a couple other brands that work better for me but they are not natural and fair trade like this one. This one may be better for me in the spring summer and fall when the cold air doesn’t dry out my skin so much.

This is a fantastic baby wash. Smells really nice and leaves hair soft and shiny. Great for the skin too, other washes I found were making skin dry but not this one. It’s expensive compared to other brands but a little goes a long way so lasts for ages.

I wish I had read more reviews about this product before purchasing. Any suds when they mix with water turn to a floating film which sticks on the tub. Sure, otherwise a great product but at the same time, there are lots of amazing unscented, hypoallergenic washes out there, why would I choose one where I have to wash the tub after and give my child a rinse after a bath.

I purchased 2 bottles, $30 worth and am stuck having to use them. Will return to using what worked for us before after this.

Beautiful smell but 100% great for sensitive skin. Both my kids have sensitive skin and I have found products with no scent to have a weird scent. So I took a chance and purchased boo bamboo and I’m just happy I did.

I’ve been using this for years as an adult, because I have very sensitive skin and often react to perfumes and regular soaps. I use it on my face and body and it’s really gentle without any scent and cleans well without drying out my skin.

Honestly, this stuff sucks. I don’t know why I keep buying Burt’s stuff when I never really like it. It smells weird, doesn’t lather well, and my kids don’t like it. It’s also expensive. I think I got it as a shower gift.

I bought this because of the quality and name. I thought the price was really expensive for product but I did it anyway. What a mistake! The product is like water. I have to use so much to wash my granddaughter’s hair.

I’m first going to start this review by giving a brief description of my hair type and why I purchased this in the first place. My hair is Caucasian but almost feels as if its got strands of every ethnicity in it lol.

I find thin fine strands, thick coarse strands, curly dry strands and everything in between in my hair. The overall look is long shiny wavy but with the products I was using (ogx, everpure, herbal essences, vo5, expensive salon stuff) it would feel “good” the first couple washes but then it would become dry and severely damaged.

It didn’t matter what I used it always had the same outcome, either good the first couple times or bad in general. I had first got natures gate jojoba and sacred lotus revitalizing shampoo and conditioner, used it once and thought the entire line was bad.

Then on a whim I got this lavender and peony and used it on the first day on dry damaged hair. It had the same outcome as the first set I tried but not to the extreme. Basically what these products do to me after the first and second wash is they leave my hair feeling extremely heavy and like there is a bunch of stuff left in, wieghed down.

The thing I didn’t do with the first one and the mistake I didn’t make with these, is that I continued to use these and gradually that heaviness went away and the result was almost better than I could handle.

Within five wash and conditioning(daily) I notice my hair looking and feeling better than it has since I was a young kid. My ends are just as soft as my roots now, it feels think supple soft and I can get a brush through it easily which I couldn’t do with other products containing silicones, sulfatea, and weird things I can’t pronounce.

I want everybody that reads this to give this line a try, if after a week the product you choose didn’t work as well as it did for me try a different line until you find the natures gate line that works for you.

Scared lotus didn’t work for me because it’s a thickening one and I need a repairing one. Also take a look at the ingredients on the back and choose things that you enjoy on your hair. Each formula contains different oils and extracts that may work better for some and not at all for others.

With this product you don’t need much conditioner and because the shampoo is so cleansing I would just put it in your hands rub it all around your hands and get the suds working and out it through your hair with water to dilute it that way you’re not putting a bunch of product on your scalp because it doesn’t spread as easily S a sulfate shampoo.

Another way is to put some shampoo in a spray bottle mixed with water shake it up and spray it on your scalp because diluting it is kind of necessary if you do daily washes like I do. I hope this helps someone I don’t do reviews very often if at all but I had to do a lengthy one because this was so great for me.

This bubble bath baby wash formula by Aveeno is truly heaven sent! It’s incredibly gentle on my little ones sensitive skin and and leaves his skin feeling soft, smooth, and lightly scented. The formula makes great bubbles for a fun bath time experience while leaving me confident there won’t be any tears or struggles washing off any excess bubbles.

We have our nightly routine of bath time, typically followed by a hypoallergenic body lotion which I have not felt the need to apply during trialing this great formula, then wrapped in a warm towel for a bit of cuddle time and relaxation.
