20 Best Tablet With Sd Card Slot (2023 Updated)

After using it for almost two months share my experience. First of all, my had many tablets included the many Ipad and I also had a Samsung A7 lite tablet before, but the overall experience of SAMSUNG s7plus is very good.

I personally think that it is a smooth and professional tablet so far. First of all, Samsung’s Android system is perfect, it hardware has strong compatibility with accessories of the same brand and other OEM accessories.

The CPU runs very fast, I think it should be the reason for the high memory(8G RAM, yes, I recommend the 256G S7 plus version and only high a little than the 128g version), especially some games run smoothly than my Ipad air.

The screen is high resolution QHD display. But pay attention to the size of this tablet, although it is 12. 4 inch, it is actually long, which means that it is very compatible to watch some high-definition movies or videos.

The speaker sound affect is great. What I like most about this tablet is that it has a DEX tablet system, so it is almost indistinguishable from a computer with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. And the spen, which does not need to be purchased additionally pen.

If the daily study write and record is ok, I have not tried drawing by the spen. The tablet is a little heavy, and the bottom of the spen is easy to fall.

With its included S Pen, Dex mode, great performance and amazing AMOLED display, the Galaxy Tab S7+ is probably the world’s best tablet for productivity. Its also one of the best for gaming and a formidable, more affordable competitor to the iPad Pro for creativity as well.

It is truly a 5-star tablet. So why a rating of only 4 stars? I wanted an upgrade from my Galaxy Tab S5e which is still working very well by the way. The S5e is super thin and light with an amazing AMOLED display.

It is perfect for browsing, reading, media consumption and easy to hold in one hand. The S5e is only missing S Pen support which I don’t really need. I’m upgrading only because the S5e is no longer eligible for Android and OneUI updates and Samsung has some great sales/trade-in deals.

Unfortunately, the Tab S7 and S7+ are noticeably heavier and the S7 noticeably thicker, so neither is as comfortable to hold as the S5e. The S7 also lacks an AMOLED display. Some Galaxy Tab fans are mainly interested in a premium, thin, light, 10–11-inch media consumption device.

The S5e was perfect. I don’t think it was sufficiently promoted and differentiated from productivity/creativity-focused use. Sadly, Samsung has left users like me with no upgrade path in the Android world.

Android tablets have always suffered in the shadow of iPads, but have zero regrets about pulling the trigger on this beast. Got it on clearance with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM and it absolutely sings across any and all functions.

The brushed aluminum body is stylish and durable, though I threw a case on it quickly to protect that gorgeous display. The included S-Pen is my first foray into the stylus world and it’s as smooth, precise, and buttery as promised.

The OLED screen on this beast has to be seen to be believed; having recently upgraded to an OLED television at home, the same inky blacks and infinite contrast provide a stunningly clear, beautiful picture.

The speakers are loud and powerful and provide a good balance without getting too treble-y, as sometimes happens with these smaller speakers. Included software was minimal beyond Google and Samsung’s standard offerings, which were more than enough, thanks.

Compared one of these side by side with the new Tab 8+ and can tell virtually no difference beyond the standard micro-tweaks that happen with most new generations of tech nowadays – save yourself $300+ and snag this sweet piece of gear if you can!.

I last owned a tablet back in 2014, back when I was in high school, and was being introduced to new ways of taking notes and doing things instead of pen and paper. I remember owning an iPad 2, which served its purpose and started to slow down some years later.

It was an awful experience, and I swore to myself I would never purchase a tablet ever again. At the time, I never fully understood the use of having such a giant screen and what I would need a huge “phone” for.

That being said, I was thinking about upgrading my laptop for this next semester of college, as my old laptop got rather sluggish. I tried my hardest to avoid searching for a tablet or opening tabs regarding tablets.

I really did. Eventually, I gave in and saw this device and saw that there was only one in stock. I said; screw it, and just purchased it. I did not read any of the specifications; I just saw the screen and the sleek design and went for it.

I could not be happier. This device runs smoothly and feels great to consume media or browse the internet. This device could fit between a giant phone and a laptop, assuming you buy the $200 keyboard case.

Of course, being a student and being careful with expensive products, I also shelled out the cash to get the case. The keyboard feels cheap, but the look of it compliments the tablet nicely. All shortcuts you would expect work on a PC, work on the tablet—two-finger scrolling, three fingers for desktop, etc.

The pen feels nice, and it feels like I am writing on some smooth and slippery paper. I have had no issues with it, and the latency is perfection. You will only ever see the latency if you purposely hunt for it by drawing a line very quickly across the screen.

Even then, it isn’t easy to catch. Having Samsung Dex on this thing completes the package. You can call it a gimmick, but I have felt right at home with it. If only there was a way to include USB ports on this device.

but then it would defeat the point of it being thin and light. IF there was one thing I HAD to COMPLAIN about, it would be the RAM size for this specific model. The 128GB model only comes with 6GB of RAM, which is embarrassing considering the price point and how much RAM Samsung likes to throw into their smartphones.

You’d need to shell out even more cash and opt for the 256GB version to get 8GB. So, I gave tablets another shot; and I am glad I did. This is one of the best purchases I have made in 2023 and most likely will remain one of the best for the rest of the year.

I could have gone for the S8 Ultra, but the screen is far too big for my liking. I like portability and options; the latter does not provide. The S7+ will NEVER replace a proper laptop, but it sure as hell is a lot more comfortable to use! No laptop will grant you the freedom to lay down and watch YouTube videos without the feeling of having an oven on your chest.

No laptop with even the best SSD can beat the speed that this device will turn on and be ready to go. Each device has its advantages and disadvantages. But, if you are debating between the S7+ and a laptop, and it fits your workflow, get it.

You’ll be doing yourself a favor.

I purchased the Tab S6 as a replacement to an aging iPad. I chose it because I could install LineageOS on it, which I did to great success. It is unexpectedly thin, lightweight and attractive. That said, opting out of Apple’s ecosystem is not without some caveats, if you have used both, you know that apps on iOS are generally more stable and better supported, and Apple does support their hardware much longer than Android Mfgs support their devices.

But running this tablet has some nice perks to consider: A physical headphone jack Expandable storage via a microSD slot Included pressure sensitive, battery-less pen functionality (with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity).

This is similar to the Wacom Intuos tablets. The pen doesn’t need charging and is also magnetic and attaches to the tablet with a gentle snap to. (Apple doesn’t share how sensitive its Pencil is, but I imagine they are at least as good as this one.

But they do need to be charged and will set you back another 100-120 bucks. ) I installed the free and open source Krita and have been having a great time with it. The biggest perk for me is that I could install an alternative firmware app.

In my case, it is LineageOS, which I an running completely google free. I am finding it liberating not having to fight with my device to keep it from reporting on me. This has been so good, I might buy a second but am waiting to see if Lineage releases a package for newer hardware as this S6 is already 2 years old.

Just to let you know, I got this for Christmas in 2020 from the Samsung Store online. First things first, the Tab was big, but the size fits well to watch full episodes on streaming services and make some cool art.

It’s also well-protected too. Second, the features. The Tab does have a lot of cool things, like doing PENUP, the art app for Samsung Tab users. It can also play games that are too powerful for my phone to handle, like for example, the long-lost game that’s my favorite, Mob Psycho 100: Psychic Battle.

and another that’s my favorite co-op MMO, Mitrasphere. I was also able to do my art because of this using my own app! Oh, and it includes an S-Pen, which is a huge + for mangakas, artists, writers, etc.

Third and last, the specs. Mine can connect to WiFi and Bluetooth, which could need my Hotspot or fast internet connection if I want best of both worlds, but mine also has 128 GB of Storage, with a microSD card slot, and 4GB of RAM, which is very powerful to handle pretty much everything! Also, because of THAT many gigabytes for storage, it can even handle HD videos too and everything as well! That’s half the amount of what the computer has in terms of storage, but that’s okay.

It can even upgrade to another Android version, which is a nice charm to handle. With all these things that I said, it’s perfect for artists, gamers, viewers, everything! It’s $350 with tax and shipping if you buy it at the Samsung store, like what I did, and I highly recommend this cool piece of tech!Score: 10/10.

The “plus” was worth every penny. There are three things to look at when considering a Kindle Fire. The first is RAM. The second is storage. The third is screen size. The four gigs of RAM makes this tablet haul.

The regular Kindle Fire 10 has only 3 gigs of RAM. The extra gig in the plus is a game changer when well, playing games. I purchased the 32 gigs of storage, knowing that up to a terabyte of storage can be added in the form of a micro SD card.

I wish it would have been available in the 64 Gig version though as most programs can only run from the native built-in storage. The last category is screen size. The 10 and the 10 plus have the largest screens available for the Kindle Fire.

I haven’t taken it apart, but I’d suspect that they have a larger battery to go along with the larger screen. I was wore out before the battery needed recharging so that is something I’ll have to look into.

With all of the positive things to say about the Kindle Fire, I have only this criticism and the reason for my three stars: Kindle’s App Store levels a lot to be desired. Some people want the Google Play Store, but I’ve had to do system resets to recover from malicious apps downloaded from the Play Store.

If Kindle is going to keep the Play Store locked out, it could at least provide a decent selection of mainstream games, productivity, and Google or Microsoft apps.

This is a good product and perfect for our needs. We wanted to update the old iPads our boys (6 and 9) had but wanted something with a lower cost given we needed two. I have always been against switching from Apple products but couldn’t justify the higher cost for an older model of Apple.

I must say these Fires have been a great buy. The boys love them and have soon got used to them. At the price they are it’s much better for our needs, they look good, work great, are hardwearing and are of course 3 years newer design than the cheapest iPad.

The only downside we had was that the Amazon Fire doesn’t support certain apps directly. YouTube kids and Lego Instructions were two essentials for us but couldn’t be downloaded. If you Google instructions though you can bypass this, download the Google play store and then you can download all the apps you want.

Unfortunately this means you cannot use the child profile function but it’s not an issue about 20mins faff and now all working great! Overall I am very happy with the Amazon Fire and would recommend.

If I was to buy again I would possibly go with a Samsung just because of the headache of the Google Play but it would be a tough choice, I’m certainly very happy with Fire and it really wasn’t that hard to sort the play store issue!!.

This is a nice value tablet. It has better Wi-Fi and Bluetooth reception than the Lenovo 10e that some might also be considering. It also feels snappy compared to the 10e. I suppose the 10e is going into a deep sleep mode to preserve battery or something, but this Fire HD 10 Plus feels more responsive.

This Fire HD 10 also has far superior speakers. Of course, you are stuck with Amazon’s software, and they cracked down on allowing 3rd party launchers to fully replace the Amazon one. If you buy this, don’t just connect it to Wi-Fi and leave it sitting unattended if you plan to use Fire Toolbox to its full potential.

The tablet will automatically update to the latest firmware in an irreversible way without asking (I knocked a star for these attempts to block software). Even after the update, you can still use Fire Toolbox to add Google Play, Chrome, etc.

, it’s just the launcher replacement and a few other features that you can’t change at the moment. However, if you just use it for web browsing, watching YouTube, etc,, it’s a nice inexpensive tablet that is handy and plenty fast for these basic tasks.

The tablet itself is a great tool to have. I am a student and uses this tablet basically every day. It’s great for school work such as notes taking, web browsing, video watching. However, there are downsides that I have spotted over the time that just makes the experience not so pleasant overall.

The first is the performance of the tablet. The Exynos chip is sufficient for everyday tasks but definitely is struggling to keep up. It has trouble with animation all over the UI, slow app response and occasionally lags when using the browser (I only have 3 tabs open at most of the time, this might be the amount of ram).

The second downside is the screen, which is understandable as it is a budget tablet. However, after a few hours of notes taking on day (editing a pdf which turns on light theme automatically for some reason), my tablet now has burn ins from Samsung Notes app that are quite annoying to look at.

Overall, the tablet is fine, I’d even recommend it to others if it weren’t for the sluggish performance (which I have no idea if it could be optimized via OTA updates) and the poor display. Afterall, it is a budget option tablet with a S-Pen and the ecosystem for it is great also, using my Samsung phone with the tablet is very convenient.

But from a long-term user’s point of view on this product, I’d say look for something else from Samsung.

Got this for Christmas 2020 as my Note 10. 1 (2012 edition) bit the dust after 8 yrs of faithful service. It was one of those things that when you lose the SPen. you lose a lot of function. In came the S6 Lite.

Multiple times better. – Twice the storage and still has the microSD slot. – SPen is very sensitive. – very clear screen. Not the top dog, but still great – great build quality. It doesn’t feel cheap.

– speakers are more than enough am from both sides so cupping the sides while naturally holding it also boosts the sounds. My wife bought it at Costco so I got the cover included (recommended. It’s a stand and protection at the same time).

Multiple options to Connect audio devices. The compatibility not with just other Samsung devices but with PCs are great. When I need to work on files with my PC and transfer to tablet and vise versa, it works very well.

Recent update gave me Dex. Dex! I use it on my phone. Now my tablet can behave like a desktop when I need it. With a wireless KBM when attach with a dongle or a potential keyboard cover. The strategic is the SPen is small.

I don’t have the biggest hands and even I find it does feel like a pen in terms of size. Given there’s no slot or anything that the pen needs to fit in the tablet I wish it was a little bigger. The features of current SPens like the clicker and the Bluetooth remote options would have been a great addition because this tablet can handle it.

This is my mobile go to for any work I need to do and my entertainment consumer when in the road rather than bringing my laptop. The size of the screen is large enough to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+,etc.

With Smart view, I can cast the tablet right on the TV.

I bought this tablet because my Galaxy Tab A 2017 broke. I didn’t expect a product that cheap being so good! Congratulation Samsung, its the best tablet I used so far in my life. Writing on it feel natural, I love the way the pen feels its simple.

There is no annoying builtin batteries in the pen. The speakers are feeling good. However, the middle sounds are a bit muted. The cameras are good. Even the OS feels like a breeze to use. I just wish one thing: try to get procreate and gravity-sketch and I will truly use it as my work tablet.

Samsung notes is the best on this. I use it to take notes, prepare prints, organize my life, scan, listen to music, etc. Its just more than perfect as it rivals with the ipad 2020! However, I think it completely blows it out of the window for the price.

Great job. The shipping is, really, really, really good! I use it also for drawing, editing and writing. SUPREMELY GOOD QUALITY.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my sister since her iPad died. I let her decide which tablet she wanted & was economically surprised she picked the Amazon tablet. She no longer needed the firepower of the iPad since she graduated school.

I only know about the performance when I’m visiting. I’ve asked her to let me know how it has been working since I have it to her The picture quality is fantastic, much better than I expected it to be.

The crisp, clear visuals with vibrant colors completely surprised me. I’ve got a Samsung tablet & to my eyes the Fire tablet picture quality was almost as good as my Samsung. Hard to quantify sound quality as tablets (in my opinion) never sound good without connecting to a Bluetooth speaker system.

I can’t tell a difference between the two tablets, but my sister has no complaints. The Fire has adequate storage capacity since it’s only used for entertainment & home use. Very pleased with the battery life.

The tablet is a larger Fire tablet; works the same way. I received the Caseable case I ordered with no issues. Unfortunately, the included software vouchers expired last month. Since this was sold as a Holiday giftable item, I purchased it for a Christmas gift for family member.

I have been tasked with trying to install two of the included vouchers. Imagine my dismay and embarrassment when after SEVERAL HOURS I was finally provided with the information that this “voucher” isn’t worth the paper it is printed on.

QVC must inform it’s customers that this is an OLDER version of this model and the vouchers for extra software are NOT VALID any longer. I cannot be the only parent or child who purchased this item to be gifted during the last Holiday, who has tried for a week or two to set it up.

Selling something on television is a privilege which comes with unique responsibilities. Each claim that the Host makes about the item MUST be factual! Each time it was presented, the claim was made that there was a software voucher including 1 year of OfficeSuite, personal, a $29.

99 value, as well as two other trials. It does NOT! This was VERY disappointing and time consuming purchase.

I am seriously confused by the negative reviews as I have nothing but praise for this fire tablet. Having bought several of these over the years, my last purchase, the Fire 10th edition I dropped and damaged.

I had intended to purchase the same from Amazon but the price of this Fire 11th edition offer proved no contest. This 11th edition tablet was delivered within two days following, which I had no problems with the transfer from my previous notwithstanding that the previous was damaged beyond repair.

I am very pleased with this tablet it has all previous features plus easy access to u tube and social media. The picture quality has improved from my previous too. The only query relates to the exchange voucher for the protective case (as insisted by my husband given previous breakage).

I attempted to obtain the free case together with an additional screen protector. When however attempting to pay, a message in German informed me that payment through my Amazon account, as offered, was not supported? I plan therefore to just access the free case!.

As the title states, this tablet is doing well so far. This iPad, paired with the magic keyboard cover, works adequate enough to act as a bridge between a mobile device and a full on laptop. I’ll share more details on that in the product page for the cover.

As for the device itself, it’s pretty zippy- no lags to speak of. I haven’t tried the camera on the back yet, but I already have camera shots handled by my phone anyway so that wasn’t a factor in my decision on this particular tablet.

Nice and light, but feels like it can take a bump or two before failure so you don’t have to worry about having this surrounded by bubble wrap before getting a case in it. Screen is nice and bright, speakers are sufficient for what I need it for.

It should go without saying that a screen protector should be placed on it- I personally have a Paperlike brand on mine that feels great despite a few air bubbles due to user error. 256 GB of space is definitely a plus due to Apple products not having any way of expanding storage in device itself.

And the cellular connection works great for me but YMMV based on which carriers work where you live. If you are searching for a sophisticated camera system that can replace a professional camera, this isn’t the right one for you.

Meanwhile, if you’re searching for a solid choice for a versatile all-rounder tablet that can double as a basic laptop in a pinch, you won’t be given a hard time choosing the iPad Air!.

I bought this tablet for annotating PDFs, drawing and taking notes. Much more convenient than a laptop and separate drawing tablet. Wifi only kept the cost down and I have access to wifi at work anyway, so LTE didn’t matter.

The smaller form factor of the lite also kept cost down while enabling me to have all the features I need. Even though it’s a lite model, it’s plenty big enough to use for drawing and very responsive with its fast processor.

It has decent internal storage, expanded by SD card. All the apps I need are easily downloadable. The S pen is brilliant. Screen is great for movies and YouTube lectures. Build quality seems good, though only time will tell on that one.

I love that so many accessories are available and I have a keyboard and mouse that can essentially turn it into something like a laptop as well as a drawing tablet for the occasional times I need that.

Battery life is very good, lasts for days in standby and needs charging only after several hours of use. I get a whole day out of it.

Only complaint is the lack of biometric log-in options and charging speed. Face-recognition is at best terrible and there’s no fingerprint scanner, so get used to entering your PIN/Passcode/Pattern, which is kind of a pain if you’re not used to a screen of this size.

Speakers are pretty good and can get very loud. Not having an OLED display isn’t a big deal, despite how much of the online community claims it is. The colors are still crisp and sharp (although the blacks are noticeably not as black) and the viewing angles are still great.

If you’re primarily using this for art, the LCD may make a difference, but I’m just using it for notes and casual media consumption, so it doesn’t for me. The tablet lasts a pretty long time (2-3 days on moderate use, 8~hours of heavy usage with high brightness), but takes awhile to charge up (3~ hours to go from 10% to full with “fast charging”) Pen feels very good against the screen, and I haven’t had too much issues with palm rejection not working (strictly note-taking with One Note) No replacement nibs included in the box, which may be of concern if you’re a heavy drawer/writer, but replacement nibs can be found pretty readily from third parties (unsure if OEM nibs are available for sale) so it’s not too big a deal.

The location of the side button on the pen does require some getting used to, and the pen itself is a bit oddly shaped — a compromise to allow it to stick to the side of the tablet. Overall I’m happy with the trade-off and found it minimally affects productivity once you’re used to it.

A great tablet for the price. Would recommend to casual users and budget-oriented students looking to go digital.

I was upgrading from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet. What a pleasant change! The tablet is super responsive has a great screen. It was super easy to get all my programs and data migrated over. I really recommend getting the magnetic cover as it makes it easy to keep the included SPen close by and to put the tablet on a table for watching something or reading.

The tablet feels very sturdy and I like the brushed metal in blue color – I have too many black devices already. The only downside is that the tablet is a lot heavier than I expected but it is because of the build quality and larger battery.

I’m getting used to it.

I bought this tab 2 weeks ago together with the keyboard cover during the black friday promotion, such a bargain!! Currently using them to type this while listening to spotify using the provided earphone.

I actuallly thought it doesnt come with an earphone 😀 What more could I ask for?! Wow this tab is great in everything, flawless, havent found anything bad to comment, best purchase ever !! Samsung dex is also great, with microsoft office I can do some of my uni work without having to use my laptop besides all the entertainment stuff I cn use it for.

Great for zoom meeting as well means I can be mobile when I need to, dont have to lug around my laptop anymore. The LTE function means I can make and receive calls and dont have to rely on wifi all the time, so currently works perfectly as my second phone.

Hope it will last me for years. to come :).

The only way to set the tablet up is a two step process and if you don’t have a cell phone you will have severe problems which Samsung cannot help you get around. It only took a few days of chat typing to get this information.

There should be a warning on all advertising for this product that a cell phone is required as not everyone has a cell phone. In fairness to Best Buy they did say that if the tablet was brought into the store they could complete the two step sign in but that would sort of negate the purpose for second step of registering a cell phone for Samsung to contact you on.

I suggested to Samsung that they should consider sending the second code to the customer by email or a land line telephone call with the second code. This tablet did not come with even a scrap of paper with information on how to turn it on or off or where to download a manual for it.

The on switch has to be held twice for a few seconds each time (still have problems with this) and the off switch is done by using two buttons (the second button has more than one use). If you have a copy of the manual, there is a way to make the on button work for turning it off too.

There was nothing to warn that the tablet should be charged before turning it on to set it up. Also missing was a warning that the USB-C cable for charging it can only be used in another USB-C port and not all computers have one.

The more common USB port found on most computers is not compatible as they are the larger USB 2 0r 3. Or the charging wire that comes with the tablet should have a USB-C connector on one end and a USB-3 connector on the other end.

This would be similar to digital cameras. This is just the most important things to consider before buying. I have also sent this information to Samsung as the tablet is otherwise an attractive and hopefully useful one once the operating system is better understood.

Okay, lets start at beginning, my S8 Ultra was bought as a crossover to enable access to both reports, research sites, (via MS WORD and PDF’s) and the tablet for use with clients (va websites). The first thing to note is the software is written for phones, not highspec tablets, so the MS Office is exceptionally poor and as a result cannot perfom one of my basic requirements.

It cannot act as a crossover. I cannot get the multiscreen to work, so am restriced to one screen at a time, slowing me down. As a new Samsung user I assume some of the difficulties are due to not knowing their system, though they have nothing to show me how to use it! Some of the manual is well written and makes sense, while much is written for experienced Samsung users, I assume! The speed of the tablet is adequate, but not fast; my 10 year old Sony Vaio Z series running Windows 2010 is much faster, even now.

This is supposed to be a high-end tablet, so where is the high-end perfomance? However, picture quality is on a par with the Sony Vaio, which is good, and when showing Netflix is again on a par. However, sound quality on the S8 is excellent for mobile tech.

Build quality also apprears to be adequate, though time will tell. The keyboard is good and appears to be well-built. Accessing support from MS to investigate oprtions for software problems said the basic issue was a result of Samsung, who could have enabled the tablet to work with the full MS Office, and who after many hours trying to help me find solutions had to give up.

Accessing suppport from Samsung produced ‘quality’ that ranged from awful, to excellent. They sent me the manual and found me a possible siolution to the MS issue, though this proved inadequate; but it was good they could offer an option.

Overall, the S8 is hype, and I will have to give it away to a family member so they can use it as a social media tool. I am very disappointed in my first move into the world of Samsung.

OK so first off, the tablet says it will spy on you with your apps and that they will be cooperating with law enforcement. This is probably why there’s some open boxes available. If you’re OK with that, it doesn’t matter.

It comes in a nice box, but the title is wrong. This thing is android 12. At least mine was. It doesn’t come with a charger, and because it’s a big battery, on a slow charger it can take as much as 10% an hour to charge, I’ve found.

Great for multimedia, the features that are standard like monitoring the brightness level of the room and changing the screen brightness accordingly is just fine. It loses charge about 3% a day, I think, just sitting there.

Setting up fingerprints was fairly easy. The updating the OS took a while I found, which is strange for a 4nm processor top of the line like this. Ultimately my opinion is I like android 11 better which is on my phone.

Some things like easily shutting down most recent apps used, is a pain while scrolling through the list when they could just put it at the top, like my android 11 phone does. Battery life is a little lackluster.

One previous reviewer online said the battery life he gets out of it is around 6 hours. The tablet is thin. I think they could’ve made it a little thicker and increased the battery life a little. Also only 4 stars because this does NOT come with a headphone jack.

Again, if it was a little thicker a jack would be easy to add to this device, like previous samsung products I’ve owned. Still, it’s like a mini tv. Full disclosure, I have not tried to run 4k media on the device.

Hope this review helps. Oh and turning off the tablet was not super intuitive for me. Pressing and holding what appears to be the power button ends up opening up some app I never heard of before and I don’t know what it does.

Not totally impressed but not overly disappointed either, but for almost 1000 after taxes, I did expect a little better for something that’s supposed to be top of the line.

So, I bought this tablet at the beginning of April 2022. The sight was having a sale and this tablet was 100$ off which was perfect as I had been planning on buying this tablet as I thought it would be perfect for me to use at school and for digital art purposes.

It’s been almost three months now and I can say I’m pretty happy with this tablet. I know this is an older tablet but it seemed perfect for what I wanted it for especially since it includes the S-pen.

-The Picture(screen) quality on the device is quite nice I watch videos, movies and TikToks on it all the time. -The Sound is also pretty good and the device gets very loud(that’s a good thing), plus I’m happy to say it has a headphone jack which I guess newer tablets are voiding.

-The S-pen works well and has good pressure sensitivity when it comes to drawing. I also like that the pen is thin like a pencil so it feels more natural in your hand. Also, having a pen makes photo editing so much easier.

However, I will say I think I broke the tip of my pen so it’s wobbly luckily it doesn’t affect the way the pen works. – The Camera quality is mediocre but I didn’t buy this tablet for the camera. Also, the front camera at the side would make video calls more natural, I have no clue how to access it, I’m not sure if it will only work when you use it for video calls or if can use it for pictures and I just haven’t figured out how to do that.

– I really love the split-screen feature my Samsung Phone also has that feature however with this tablet the split-screen really only works when the tablet is horizontal but when you turn it vertical the split-screen line is also vertical meaning you’re looking at 2 skinny screens, so basically the screens aren’t stacked like they are on my phone.

– The Battery life is really good in my opinion but I also think that it probably has to do with what you’re doing on your tablet, for example, if I’m watching videos for hours the battery drains faster but when taking notes for 6 hours at school it’s only down to 75-60%.

So overall I really like this tablet its perfect for taking digital notes or typing if you have a Bluetooth keyboard(unfortunately a Bluetooth mouse doesn’t work). It’s nice for drawing (I’ve been using the ibisPaint X app) or if you like editing photos.

And it’s great for binge watching, games, etc. the pen is nice with no lag and the tablet itself isn’t heavy and is the perfect size to travel around with(not too big not too small), way better than lugging a laptop around, I’d defiantly recommend.

Awesome tablet at awesome price. I purchased this when the S7 tab just released and it holds its own. I predominantly use it for taking notes at University. The S Pen is very responsive and there is no delay when writing in the screen.

I find myself using the split screen feature more than I thought I would too. Notes on one side and lecture video on the other. I also have a Note 20 and there is an auto Hotspot pestered between Samsung devices that allows me to Hotspot the Tab off my Note seamlessly.

Battery life is also amazing, only need to charge it once, sometimes twice a week.

I purchased this tablet to help me with studying and it’s the best decision I’ve made. The display quality is amazing. Personally, it’s the best portable tablet for students for 2 reasons: 1) the battery life is on another level.

It has quick charging and it lasts all day with watching lectures and taking notes at the same time (split screen) 2) it comes with a pen!!! No need to spend extra money on stylus. And the pen doesn’t require charging either.
