The actual blade part is very cheap weak plastic that is HOLLOW. I did not think it was gonna be hollow and so light and weak. The picture makes it look like it has a built in sturdy carrying strap. It doesnt.

It comes with a thin flimsy long peice of black ribbon that you have to tie yourself. The covering is too big and doesnt securely fit over the sword. It fits loosely and is made of extremely thin weak plastic, as is the rest of the sword.

It doesnt securely sit over the bottom on the handle so when you try to carry it the sword just slides out. The only good part is the handle. Its sturdy and looks as pictured but the rest is just terribly made conserving you’re paying 13 dollars for it.

This toy should be in the dollar store for 4. 99 at MOST.

To use this sword with my O-Ren costume !!! The sword certainly doesnt have a fancy feel as its a costume sword. I do wish i paid a little less, but its longer than the cheaper swords, which probably makes up for the price difference.

The sword is really nice and not as weak as I thought it would be, its actually pretty firm. I painted over it for a Comicon costume and it looked great. I would definitely recommend this product.

I purchased these for fun but me and my family have been playing with them and we’ve made so many cool games and videos with them! The swords are super fun to battle with and swing around. There’s 6 different colors they can change to.

There’s a feature that allows the light staff to separate and become two different parts! two in one! There are three different modes for the light speed. There’s solid color, this doesn’t change at all.

There’s a fast flash feature and a slow flash feature. All of these modes appear bright and incredibly cool in the dark. There’s so many different things you can do with this. There are motion sensors that detect when you swing the light saber, you can change your color as you swing! The saber expands out to 29.

5 inches. The plastic is very durable and can withstand hours of play. There’s even sound effects, on the first two light modes there are sound effects behind each swing! There’s also a soundtrack option to listen to while battling.

This has to be awesome gifts ever for my kids. They are light plastic so its suitable for young kids. They can play with each other and it doesn’t hurt when they drop them. The fascinating thing about them is that when touched, they make the sounds like in the movie.

same with when they moving it around. Colors can be changed but not individual colors. Two swords can be connected easily with the plastic piece. If you don’t keep it organized, you can lose it really easy because it’s small.

Other than that, they are fantastic lights for kids and maybe for adults as well.

Can’t say enough about these great light sabers! They are toys, so expect plastic and not fully adult sized. Still, they look good with or without the side blades. You can select a red color not just multi-colored, so my 9 year old son is using it for Kylo Ren.

The side blades come off, and it looks just fine for any jedi as well. Plus, if your kid likes the multi-colors (not Star Wars authentic), they blink and chage in fun ways. The BEST part about these, though, is the sounds they make.

They have the feature of sounds engaging when you hit something, so it helps with play fighting. My husband and I couldn’t help but play with them, too, although I may get one just a bit larger for my jedi costume next year.

Anyway, these are great, and I’d have paid double easily if I’d known how good they would be! Don’t hesitate buying these, especially at this price!.

This really served the purpose! My daughter dressed up as ‘Durga maata’ and I used this as an Asthra (weapon) for her dance performance. I just spray painted all the black part in gold, so as to make it look more realistic.

I bought two, one for my son to play with and the other so I could keep it and put it on display. The sword is weighty and is made exceptionally well – it’s plastic but it’s not flimsy in any way. I wouldn’t say these are for play as they aren’t as soft as other play swords so I wouldn’t recommend it for any rough play.

My eldest saw the sword and wanted it also so there goes my display one. The things we do to keep out kids happy. A great purchase for any Zelda fan – highly recommended.

This letter opener is. In a word. Awesome. Opens letter effortlessly. You need to think about buying one for yourself.

If you find the sound stops working then grab a small philips screwdriver and let’s go! You’re also going to need a small plastic drinking straw (like what you get with a carton drink). Remove the 9 screws that hold the cover over the speaker in place and remove the cover.

On the inside of the cover you’ve just removed you’ll find a small plastic pin dead in the centre, pop the straw over it and cut it off so that the straw is a couple of mm taller than the plastic pin.

Now pop the cover back on, doing the screws up nice and tight, and the plastic straw will be applying some pressure to the speaker and you should have sound again!.

My kids were very excited to try out this sword. They are HUGE Minecraft fans! They absolutely love bright colors, the fact that it looks like something right out of the game and the sound effects. But they did have some issues with it.

They did not like the fact that there was no on and off switch (my oldest is always concerned about wasting batteries) and that there was no volume control. They both felt that it was too loud and asked me if I could put tape over the speaker.

They also felt it was too heavy. After swinging it around for a little while, their little arms grew tired and then they didn’t want to play with it any more. The sword is also supposed to change colors and sound effects by swinging it, but unless I was the one swinging it or they were swinging really really hard, it didn’t work.

Its like the sensor for that was sensitive enough for the weaker strength of a child. The sword is also very large, so with the combination of the size, the weight and the fact that they have to swing it extremely intensely to get it to respond, it got them quite frustrated.

It seems like it is more suited to an older child like 10+ which seems silly because I don’t see kids that age playing with something like this by the time they reach that age. All in all its a cute toy that my kids enjoy but I know they would enjoy more if there were a few small changes that would make play easier and more enjoyable for them!.

My son got this for Christmas, he played with it few hours and sound stopped working, we felt embarrassed to ask our friends for receipt but our son was really disappointed so we did. next day we exchanged it for another one which has worked fine only 2 months and the same problem with sound occurred.

We will exchange for something else this time, not worth 30 pounds at all. Also should have volume button because it is very loud for parents especially in the morning lol.

I am planning on returning this item, I just haven’t had time yet. It was suppose to be a Christmas gift but it was of such poor quality that it is still in the closet. It came with a chip in it, one.

Now that I could have overlooked- bad shipping or whatever but the really unacceptable part is that the blades are extremely loose in the hilts. They feel like if you were to swing them with any force, the blades would fly out of the handles.

I’m SO disappointed. I’ve owned sets like this before and never was the quality so bad.

this was a gift for my son for his birthday. we received the swords in a timely manor but the inner box was smashed and as a result of that where ever it was stored caused the stand to mold horribly it stunk very bad, after my best effort to clean the stand we could not get it together the pieces were too tight and ended up breaking one side of it.

the swords are in good condition and had no mold but they were wrapped in plastic. my son very much enjoys the swords but cannot display them until we make him another stand.

I was very happy with this toy for my Minecraft loving son. Pros: the size is perfect for actual play fights. It’s a sturdy feeling toy. The sword makes sounds that are loud enough to hear while playing but not so loud it annoys others around.

My son said “ it’s a fun toy because the sounds make it like you are in Minecraft”. I also liked watching him use his imagination while playing solo. Cons: while there are very few negatives there is one big doozy.

The tip of the sword is plastic while the shaft is a foam type material. The plastic tip hurts bad when you are accidentally hit. Both myself and my son wish the entire sword was outlined in the foam.

The other con that my son mentioned was he wished he did not have to push the button the entire time to make the sounds activate. I highly recommend this toy if your child enjoys Minecraft and/or using their imagination to fight off unknown creatures.

My two boys, ages 10 and 6, are relatively new to the Minecraft world. Since they love playing the video game, I was hoping this toy would bring them off screen into imaginary play, and I wasn’t disappointed.

As a result of playing the game, they were able to both use the sword’s sound effects to actively pretend to play the game. Personally, I would have preferred a greater variety of sounds, but they didn’t seem to mind at all.

It has a nice feel to it. It is extremely well made and held up nicely even when the kids play rough. Not too heavy so my kids can swing it around. The kids love the 2 different sound effects that the sword makes.

My six year old was excited to recieve a Minecraft Diamond Sword. The packaging consisted of a simple cardboard sheath to hang on a store peg. You get what you see. A good quality replica Minecraft sword that will satisfy young Minecraft fans.

The sword is well constrcted and is hard plastic. I was partially expecting something of foam, so this is definitely for an older child who will know better than to use it as a potential weapon. That being said, my six year old enjoyed role playing with it for a bit, but now its more decoration in her room.

My son’s, 6 and 10, both absolutely love this sword. In fact, my 6 year old hasn’t put it down. He’s carried with us everywhere and loves how to brings Minecraft to real life for him. It doesn’t light up and there’s nothing special about it, it’s literally just a plastic sword but he has had so much fun with already.

These guys do really nice work. Got one for myself and one for a buddy’s upcoming 50th. Everyone thinks it’s gorgeous. Keep a little mineral oil on it and away from h2o. I recommend Battling Blades. Got me some more goodies (another sword and shield lol) to put on display.

This is, by far, my favorite short blade. Very straight, very sturdy. Nicely wrapped leather handle, well balanced. Only issue I had is the sheath is coming apart at the bottom, but for me that’s an easy fix.

Very well done. Perfect size for carry, and perfect thickness for my taste.

Very nice sword. Great quality. Great price. Nice balance. The bone part of the handle is longer than the website picture illustrates. I like the website ratio of steel and bone better. But still a five star rating.
