20 Best Sweetener For Matcha Latte (2023 Updated)

This is a great sweetener. If you need something to be very sweet, this might not work on its own. I don’t care for things that are too sweet so this works for many of my needs.

This product is hard to find but I was able to find it on Yummy Bazaar. I received it in a very timely fashion. Thank you.

Best product I’ve ever found thats Organic, Low Glycemic, and sugar alternative, and its made from Apples! Can be used on pancakes or in baking recipes as a partial sweetener or combined with another sweetener.

I have been using this product for about a year now and I don’t think I could live without it. As a diabetic having something that has zero glycemic impact to sweeten my coffee or other beverage or yogurt is invaluable in and of itself but to also have something to use in cooking that acts and reacts just like sugar is AMAZING! I can make any recipe sugar free by simply substituting Purecane for any sugar called for.

No strange textures or weird aftertastes. Also, I am not sure why but Purecane does not make my tumbly so rumbly like all the other erythritols if you know what I mean. No embarrassing impromptu playing of the butt trumpet if you catch my drift.

Cannot recommend this stuff enough! I pass out packets to everyone to try. It has truly been a miracle find and has allowed my sweet tooth to be free once again!.

The sucralose packets are a great sugar substitute. They were an extremely great value and last a long time. The packaging was also great as it dispense packets well.

We often buy this product. It is just as good as the name brand item. The price is better and we appreciate that.

Contrary to advertising, this is not just sucralose, or even primarily sucralose. The ingredients actually listed on the packets (they’re not even listed on the box) in order (largest ingredient 1st, etc) , are: dextrose, maltodextrin, and then sucralose.

As I have recently turned 50 and going through menopause, I have been advised that I needed to make some long overdue dietary changes. Even so, I still found myself desiring baked goods as that is comfort food to me.

I was excited to try out the Magic Baker and was intrigued by it. I, of course, have used Splenda in coffee but did not use the brand outside of drinks. The conversion chart made it easy to figure out instead of trying to do the guesswork of figuring it all out.

I incorporated this into my banana muffin recipe and the results were really good! I was shocked but will say that the sweetness was there but not cloyingly so. I am thrilled to have this in my pantry! I am going to see about expanding this into other recipes, too.

Received a package of this gratis in return for my review. One of the treat that my wife and I like to make is peanut butter cookies. Sometimes we make them with real sugar, which I can’t eat very much of since I am diabetic, other times we make them with Splenda so I can pig out on them.

I can always tell which sweetener was used when I eat a cookie, they are equally enjoyable, just a little different. Using this new Splenda sweetener in place of the regular Splenda we used, I could not taste the difference between cookies using the original Splenda, and this new one.

I’m not really sure what the advantage of this new sweetener is over the older one, other than being the currently faddish plant-based, but it is equally as good for our purposes.

I have diabetes and desperately miss fresh lemonade. We have a lemon tree in the yard that produces bushels and of lemons each year. Being that I live in South Florida, the hottest place on Earth, a cold glass of lemonade is so refreshing on a hot summer (well any season actually) day.

I’ve tried just lemons and water but it isn’t the same. I was so excited to try this product when I saw it. I have tried other non sugar sweeteners but have always been put off by the after taste. So, I mixed up a big pitcher of lemonade and gave it a try.

I was very impressed…it had no after taste at all. I am completely sold on Splenda Magic Baker!.

My stomach cannot deal with Splenda so I tried Natra Taste with great success. I suffer from type 2 diabetes so artificial sweetener is a must for coffee and Ice Tea. Thought the price was a little high but with Covid-19 situation one has few choices.

I have A positive blood and my age puts me in high risk.

I started using NatraTaste Blue when I committed to a healthier lifestyle. I’ve tried other sweeteners and NatraTaste Blue has the closest taste to real sugar. I use it to flavor my teas, coffee and oatmeal.

I’m not sure why the previous reviews states there is a bad taste left in your mouth, I see they are from a few years ago, they may have reformulated the product since then because I love it.

I’ve been using this brand for years. It’s one of the few I’ve tried that does NOT have an aftertaste (yay)! This is very sweet and I don’t have to use too much to get my tea, coffee, or anything else sweet enough; usually, 2-4 packets is good enough for me (depending on the item).

This is also the brand with the best value when it comes to sweeteners. I’ve seen a big box like this in my local Walmart and Winn Dixie for under $3. Other brands with this many in a box often costs 2-3 times as much.

I generally eat non-gmo, organic foods. When I went keto this was no longer possible with baking. I love baking and always use organic cane sugar. Is this organic cane sugar, no. What it is, is a non-gmo sweetener that is 1:1 ratio sugar replacement.

No more odd calculations that I am sure I get wrong. I prefer it to other erythritol sweeteners, it doesn’t have that weird aftertaste. I like baking again, my baked treats taste great. I am happy to have found Keto:Sweet.

First off, I do not like most low calorie sweeteners because they have a horrible aftertaste. I do however like erythritol and that is what Keto:Sweet is made with. Plus, it is NON GMO. I used this sweetener in my coffee, which I normally drink with no sweetener.

I tried it in baked goods as well. It was good in all and had no after taste. While I did only use it in recipes that called for sugar replacements already, it didn’t seem to be overly sweet and believe it could be used as a one for one replacement with sugar like it says.

I like this keto sweet. However, The address to the company is located in Indiana where Splenda is made. What concerns me is if this is made in the same factory as Splenda could it be Splenda?Splenda is NOT good for your body.

I love this tea and look forward to drinking it everyday as an afternoon treat. It is on the pricey side and for me just a little too sweet so to make it last longer, I mix half of a packet with 3/4ths a teaspoon of Ujido Ceremonial Blend Matcha (which isn’t sweetened).

This way, I get 20 servings out of a box rather than 10 and the sweetness isn’t over the top. I add my two Ujido powders to 10-12oz of “Simply Almond Unsweetened Vanilla” almond milk and drink it cold – delish! I haven’t tried this drink warm yet because it’s summertime; but when it gets chilly out, I look forward to finding a good mix for a hot drink.

Ujido quality is excellent, pure and smooth. Vitacost’s price on the 16 oz is a little better than other sites’. This item particularly is only 12oz and the price is higher for its supposed to be top quality.

However, the display has “Ultimate Superfood” on top and bottom edge of the package, but the delivery I got only printing “Green Tea Powder” as the 16oz ones. I contacted Vitacost many times without any responses, so I had to put a note here.

Last time, I asked for the confirmation from Vitacost with the manufacture that the same quality as it’s supposed to be for its price, and got a reply directed me to look at Ujido web site which displayed the 12oz as out of stock, and did not have Ultimate Food printed either.

If that is the case, I suggested Vitacost to update the display on the website to avoid further confusing of mismatching. First time I bought this was from one Wholesale, and it seemed having the “Ultimate Superfood” printing.

This can barely be called green tea, the flavor of the tea is so weak and there is no aroma — something which is extremely important for a proper matcha latte experience. The tapioca starch I think is an anti-caking agent but it congeals in a gelatinous skin on the top if you add cream to the drink and let it sit a little, meaning you really can only have a thin, watery drink if you do pour-in prep instead of stovetop prep.

For a keto-friendly mix, please just mix 2-3tsp of actual matcha (ceremonial grade is best; other grades are okay for baking) with 1 tbsp the classic monkfruit sweetener, add hot water/milk/cream. A layered layered matcha+dark chocolate bark might be a better use of a smaller amounts of matcha like this since it would concentrate the matcha in a single layer of flavor to contact the tongue and dissipate before the next layer of chocolate.

In a drink form, this tiny amount of matcha doesn’t get a chance to shine. I may experiment with using this mix in a baking project, but even then I may need to add more matcha to it.

I buy this stuff in bulk! The Lakanto Matcha green tea drink has been a part of my morning coffee routine for years! I start by blending the Lakanto mix with beef collagen, cinnamon & maca root then I add a heaping spoonful to black coffee with ghee & MCT oil.

I blend with hand mixer and it’s the only way to start my day. The best part is that it’s delicious. Sure, it’s incredibly healthy, but it’s also something I look forward to drinking because I enjoy the taste.

Before I started drinking this, probably 25% of my daily sugar intake came from coffee. When I tried quitting sugar before I discovered Lakanto, I always failed and artificial sweeteners always had that gross taste.

It wakes me up, gives me a burst of clarity and energy and I’m not hungry until one o’clock. I’ve lost weight, have more energy to exercise regularly, my hair, skin & nails look great. PS This recipe also taste great with tea!.

People say this is the best to use of what’s out there although he does not like artificial sweeteners. If you are going to use anything but sugar this is the safest to use in my opinion. it’s convenient to store and use while you have visitors in the office.

We keep the 400ct sweet and low box on hand year round. Only thing we use to sweeten coffee and tea (hor or iced). Excellent price at Office Depot and very convenient packaging.

Good product, good price – especially when there’s the 20% off breakroom/cleaning/office supplies coupon on the go. But here’s the thing. I had one box where you had to rip the packet in half or else it wouldn’t be open enough to get the fake sugar out.

Another time the packets were all joined up together. None of these things are deal breakers, but it’s almost like OD doesn’t get the cream of the crop with these.

Stevia is a great healthy alternative to sugar. That said, there are many brands and forms of stevia out there. One of the biggest criticisms of the product is a lingering aftertaste. Organic KAL Stevia is not only a powerful and pleasant sweetener but it does not alter the taste of anything you put it in and has no aftertaste.

KAL changed its formula a few years ago which caused it to be difficult to dissolve. But the organic version remains unchanged and is superior to the regular “Sure” version.

I used KAL Stevia Pure for over ten years. I ordered a new bottled without noticing Pure had been changed to Sure. However, I did notice it Sure was terrible! I found out they changed the formula and/manufacturer, but why did they change the name to Sure.

Very deceptive. My tongue is burning and my teeth are aching. I threw it away and notified Amazon. com.

This is probably my 3 container of Kal stevia that I have purchased over maybe 12 years. It was highly recommended to me and I really enjoyed the previous two containers and agreed with the recommendation.

One scoop was all I needed in my cup of coffee and perfectly sweetened it. However, this last container I purchased, I am extremely dissatisfied with the product. Now I need 2 scoop/spoonfuls of the stevia to get the same sweetness.

Additionally, I feel that it doesn’t mix well into the beverage like it had previously. I kept giving this container of stevia a try, but this morning I became so disappointed with this product with having to add another scoop to my coffee that I feel compelled to write a review.

I looked at the ingredients listed on this container and it says only stevia. I gave it 2 stars because it does sweeten. This container will last only 1/2 as long because now I use double the amount.

IšverstiShow in original languageBy far, my most favorite daily tea ritual is my afternoon matcha latte with this mix. Excellent matcha flavor, just the right amount of keto friendly sugar (no bitter flavor or after taste!), and dissolves so easily.

I love whisking in some half & half for the true latte experience. I look forward to my afternoon cup every day. Price is excellent. There are regular sales so you can stock up then or subscribe and get regular deliveries.

I’ve done both since I’m a daily drinker. I’ve used this hot, cold, dissolves well in both temps with good whisking. I also added to keto fudge (after dissolving in hot water), and made keto matcha cookies.

There are plenty of recipes you can use this for. Just reduce your sugar as necessary. I highly recommend!.

IšverstiShow in original languageWhen I read through the reviews, I thought that it’s good enough to give it a try. After the actual trial, I am very very pleased with the quality and taste. It was so easy to make by following the instruction and did not have to add anything else (sugar, matcha, etc.

) to enhance the flavor. Definitely way better than overpriced + diluted Kung-fu tea. This was what I thought after the first try just using a regular small teaspoon to scoop the mix. When I used the real measuring teaspoon the second time, it came out pretty bland.

I’m sure it needs to be made a bit stronger than suggested in the packaging to enjoy the maximum potential.

IšverstiShow in original languageI’ve been drinking matcha tea for a number of years and decided to try the Jade Leaf brand. This 7 stick package is a perfect trial size. However this tea has zero flavor.

Being ceremonial grade there is no bitterness but the flavor is so subtle that it’s undetectable. It is probably due to the tea having little to no body. When whisking matcha, there is usually a little bit of density.

This is just green water that I can literally see through. If you don’t like the taste of matcha but want the health benefits, this is the tea for you.

I purchased this for an elderly who does not have a computer or other device from which to order at Walmart. com. Like many items both she and I have been able to purchase in our local Walmart, zip code 62401, Equal spoonful sugar free sweetner in 4 ounce container is no longer available.

I was glad to help her obtain this item. She is happy to have received her favorite sugar substitute.

I try to wean off of sugar cause I already eat a lot of sugar and me being a coffee addict, of course I can’t keep having 3-4 cups of coffee and 3-4 teaspoons of sugar or even more so, this is what we have been repurchasing.

Price is on point, I don’t really use a lot but it lasts a long time. Love how it doesn’t really affect the flavor of my coffee, yes it makes it sweet but why I mean is it doesn’t have a different flavor to it aside from the sweetness that it gives.

Make sense? Lol.

I have always loved Equal sweetener and this is my favorite type. But it is almost impossible to find! I was previously ordering it on Amazon, as they were the only ones (or so I thought) that carried it.

BTW, I paid a lot for it on Amazon! Then I found it at a Wal Mart in another town and then found it on line. Now I only order it from Wal Mart!.

Really great in coffee! Sweetens well, but 1 star off because the french vanilla flavor is pretty mild. I love vanilla, so was hoping for a strong vanilla kick, but if someone had told me this was ‘unflavored’, I would have believed them.

Still does an awesome job as an all-natural sweetener, so I’ll likely repurchase, but if I want monk fruit drops that add an extra flavor profile to my coffee, the Caramel Macchiato version is perfect for that.

Lots of caramel flavor in that one. Still pleased and will have no issues finishing up the bottle!.

That’s where the good ends. This product tastes like lightly spiced hot water. Zero flavor. My husband said he imaged this is what dishwasher tasted like. I could warm up water and throw in cinnamon to achieve a better flavored drink.

It went down the drain.

IšverstiShow in original languageI love this concentrate, but make sure that you grab the skinny one. The regular one and the skinny one the amount of sugar is so different. I wish it was less sugar, but also appreciate that this one add sugar.

I hate some of the sugar substitutes that other brands use. This is a great concentrate because it’s strong, peppery, and has the right amount of spices. I hate star anise and this one luckily doesn’t have too much, so it doesn’t taste heavy on this.

IšverstiShow in original languageTazo is a master of tea blends and beverage options. I was first turned into the matcha latte by Starbucks. I find it to be a wonderful, cost effective alternative to daily coffee shop trips for my favorite beverage.

I love this because I am able to easily mix it with vanilla soy milk for an additional boost of sweetness. It is great over ice or warmed. I can make three large latte drinks from one carton for about the cost of a Venti latte at a café.

I highly recommend this to anyone who loves green tea latte drinks. You will be glad you did!.

I’m not happy. My order called for 2000 count. I want a refund or another order of 1000 count of Equal. I didn’t get the best deal.

I like to be able to buy Equal in a bigger box because I use more Equal than most because my husband is a diabetic and I prefer not to use sugar. Although the boxes are slightly bigger than the regular box, there are fewer to store.

It is artificial sweetner. I rather use sugar but I can’t. So I use the blue and the yellow packet. The pink has an after taste. The blue maybe a tiny bit can’t remember. First choice is the yellow

I don’t like the aftertaste that comes with most artificial sweeteners, but the Equal Tabs are equal to one teaspoon of sugar. I add one teaspoon of sugar, and i never taste that artificial downer. Instead of playing around trying to estimate the amount from the little packets, I know one Equal Tab is one teaspoon.

What I don’t understand is why no stores in the Lehigh Valley carry them. I must order online. Go figure.

I have been using sugar substitute for years, but had to switch to Equal, since my usual brand was not available. It works just as well, for my morning coffee to spicing bean casseroles from the crock pot.

It dissolves quickly in hot or cold liquids and keeps calories at bay. I would buy it again.

I use this flavor in my water. It takes me back to my childhood, when the family would go swimming at a local clubhouse. They made ice cones with various flavors to cool you off in the hot sun. My favorite was coconut.

This coconut flavors tastes just like the one I loved as a child.

I have been using KAL liquid stevia for at least 10 years to sweeten my drinks (coffee, lemonade, and such) and absolutely love it! Won’t use anything else! No aftertaste! Just sweet deliciousness! Thank you KAL!.
