A straw sippy cup is a cup with a straw attached to it, designed for young children to drink milk from. The straw allows the child to drink without tilting their head back, and the cup is usually spill-proof.
20 Best Straw Sippy Cup For Milk
1. Dr. Brown’s Sippy Straw Bottle with Silicone Handles, Pink, 8 oz
When baby is ready to learn straw sipping skills, take baby steps with the Dr. Baby can keep the bottle they love while learning new sipping skills. The soft silicone straw is weighted to tilt and sip while learning upright straw skills.
Sturdy yet soft Silicone Handles make gripping easy and help to teach baby new motor skills. A sliding cap keeps messes contained when closed and offers spill-proof travel. Both the sippy straw cap and Silicone Handles fit all Dr.
Brown’s Options+ 8 oz/250 ml baby bottles and sippy spout bottles. This means you can teach baby many new sipping skills with the same bottle! Dishwasher (top rack) and sterilizer safe. BPA free. 6m+.
Love that I can see into the bottle. Love that it has a weighted straw. Love that it’s slender so it’s easier for my toddler to grasp—we take off the bulky handles. Love the softness of the “leak proof” silicone tip.
Love that it’s an 8oz bottle. Love the cap. Don’t love how many parts I have to wash but I’m willing to put up with it because I love almost everything else about it. I have not found a better sippy.
It’s the *most* leak proof sippy we’ve tried, although it’s not perfect. My toddler also sometimes has trouble with sucking liquid out, like the pressure inside is off and we have to redo the straw components.
I received this product from Dr. Browns and couldn’t be happier with its durability and leak proof features. This. sippy cup bottle is not baby friendly with its attractive character designs but also makes for an excellent transition bottle for that tough little one not wanting to give up the bottle.
It has a clean and simple design that functions just how it should with accessories sold separately if any become lost or damaged. I have not received any drawback from my son; 2 years old which unfortunately a bottle has become his bobo and a tough habit to break in our household leading to exhausting nights.
This sippy cup bottle design has great suction and is easy to use for him without any discomfort. At first he didn’t care for the nipple design much and just needed a day or two to get used to its texture nipple design which is completely different from the rest but will not part with it now weeks later and has asked me to purchase another.
Overall I am thrilled with Dr. Browns products and love the new addition to their family. I highly recommend this product for those fussy little ones struggling to transition to sippy cups !!.
They’ll flip over a cup as tough as they are! Push-button flip top straw cup Extra soft silicone straw is easy to sip Built-in carrying handle in lid Made of ultra durable material, safe for drops & throws! Minimal parts for easy cleaning 12 oz.
capacity for water, milk or juice 18+ months BPA-free & top rack dishwasher safe It’s a fact. Kids can be hard on their stuff — they play hard, throw hard, and if you’re lucky, cuddle hard too. When it comes to cups, durability is key, especially if your toddler is keen on throwing things across the room.
The Flip & Go toddler straw cup is made of extra tough material built to withstand pretty much anything your child can throw its way. It has an extra soft silicone straw and flips open with the touch of a button.
It also has minimal parts for quick and easy cleaning (yay for mom!). You can count on this flip top cup to survive harsh throws and daily trips to the kitchen floor. Finally, a cup designed to keep up with nonstop tots!.
I got two of these bottles about 4 months ago. They are easy to use and clean. It usually doesn’t leak, but I wouldn’t trust it on its side for long. My toddler chews through the straws though. I had to occasionally cut the straws but now they are too short to clamp when the lid is closed.
Wish they sold the mouth pieces so I could just buy more of those. We will be trying another brand.
I never write reviews, actually this is my first time writing one on Target, but have to warn other parents out there! This cup is awful!! It leaks so bad! I thought maybe it was just a defective cup so I bought another but same thing.
Water just pours out of the little air hole at the top. My toddler left her cup lying sideways and it left a huge puddle on the floor. Such a waste of $$$ and disappointing!.
Liquids touch only glass and silicone for baby’s health and safety—glass and silicone have long been trusted as the safest materials as they are hypoallergenic and do not leach chemicals into food. Silicone sippy spout, straw spout and straw included to grow with baby—soft, silicone spouts help your baby instinctively regulate the flow for a natural transition from breast- and bottle-feeding.
Drip-free spouts and travel cap prevent leaks—liquids only pass through spouts when pressure is applied for less mess. Non-slip base and outer shell helps protect glass—the shock-absorbing base and outer shell help protect the glass when tossed or dropped by your toddler.
Holds 4 ounces (118 ml) of liquid—our straw sippy cup is designed with love for little ones 6 months and up.
I am one of those dads who is paranoid about plastic. I have been searching for a cup that does not spill, does not break, and is either glass or stainless steel. I have tried other brands, small glass water bottles, and this for everyday use.
My toddler has milk in his cup, so it needs to be reasonably easy to clean. These cups fit the bill: they are not indestructible, but it’s worth the extra replacement cost to me because I can see if it’s clean and I’m not worried about the plastic.
My baby is finally drinking from a sippy cup. She just turned 11 months but Ive been at it for a while. Another mother told me that you just have to keep offering and be persistent. What helped me was no to demonstrate by drinking from the cup and then handing it to my baby.
I have been enticing her with fresh squeezed orange juice, strained. I like the cup because it is very cute, it is ergonomically the right size and weight for little hands, It is spill proof and she can carry it around, inside is glass so she’s not exposed to plastic, it is very easy to disassemble and clean quickly.
The handles are the perfect size and shape Glass inside is thin but not unreasonably so. if it were much thicker that would make the glass so much heavier. I think that the weight is at the sweet spot because when you fill the cup with liquids and you factor in the weight of the glass it is heavy but still comfortable for a little baby and probably should not be any heavier.
I just don’t want my baby have it while she’s in her highchair so that she can’t throw it. This cup is working out great for us and I am very happy I bought it.
OVERVIEW The Avanchy Stainless Steel Spill Proof Sippy Cup with a straw makes the transition from bottles to cups easier for your little one with 8 oz. for full use once they master it! Includes a lid and gentle straw to support baby led weaning.
Toddlers learning to drink independently for the first time will enjoy the grown-up cup with the safety of our silicone design. The lightweight design and simple shape of the Silicone Sippy Cup make it easy for little hands to pick up and hold.
Cup Height: 4″ | Diameter: 2. 8″ Straw Height: 6. 5″ | Straw Diameter: 0. 4″ CARE & USE Dishwasher-safe DETAILS Plastic-free, BPA-free, BPS-free, PVC-free, lead-free, and phthalate-free. Nontoxic, hypoallergenic, and 100% safe for baby feeding.
Haven’t gotten to use this yet as baby is only 3 months, but I have a good feeling about it. It’s much sturdier than I thought it would be and has good weight to the base! It looks to be a great size for starting out.
Not sure about the functionality of the shape, but I love the look of this cup much more than the ever so popular ezpz brand. Also love that a lid and straw comes included for use when they’re older.
My only complaint, which is super minor and most people won’t be bothered by, so I didn’t knock a star, is that the black cup doesn’t come with a black straw when they clearly make black straws! I don’t love the color block look and had to buy 2 cups, a white and a black one just to have a matching straw for the cup.
And the straw that comes with the black cup isn’t even white, it’s gray.
I bought this cup for my one year old. It arrived quickly which we were very happy about! It did have a plastic-y smell for the first day or so, but dissipated after I soaked in warm soapy water for a bit.
It is made of good quality silicone, is the right amount of water for my baby at mealtimes and the top does not come off even when it is dropped from the highchair (repeatedly. on purpose) The straw even has a little ring around the inside end that prevents it from being removed from the cup.
Overall, we really love this cup and will be ordering more in different colors! If you love other Avanchy products, you will love this one as well!.
I bought this straw cup from Avanchy about a month ago and we have used it every day since. It is my one-year-old’s first time with a straw and he picked it up the first time using it. We tried several other brands and he couldn’t figure out how to suck.
This one made it so easy and aligns with my attempts at reducing toxic plastics and chemicals in his eating/drinking items. My son also loves the colors. I will buy more. We started with water, but now he lives these cups for smoothies.
They keep him from being able to pull the straw out, too.
A drinking range that takes baby from breast to bottle to cup, all in one easy system? Introducing the BEABA Drinking Range: stylish, thoughtfully designed drinkware to help your baby learn to drink on their own.
BEABA’s drinking range has been meticulously crafted to help both parents and baby take on this important milestone, with more sips (and fewer spills) along the way! At 4mo+, start with the 2-in-1 Bottle To Sippy Learning Cup, which is fitted with an interchangeable bottle nipple to silicone spout to help ease babies transition from breast to cup in their first drinking endeavors.
Then move to this Stainless Steel Straw Sippy Cup or our Straw Sippy Cup at 8mo+ to continue baby’s drinking journey – straws strengthen muscles in the mouth that are important for eating and talking.
The entire range is 100% watertight and leak-proof, open or closed or upside down. Use them at home or on the go – the range has been specifically designed with spill and temperature control in mind.
All spouts and straws made from 100% supple silicone, and the handles, which can help baby hold the bottle, can be removed if needed. As always materials are BPA, Lead & Phthalate free.
It’s hard to get water out of the straw. Baby tried many times but nothing came out. I gave it a few tries and figure out you need to bite down the stopping valve and suck. This is pretty tough for a small baby.
Our baby transitioned to straws very early at six months. This cup was perfect for her since it has a valve, constricting some of the flow- so she won’t choke. It also has to have a little pressure on the straw to open fully.
She understood that on the first try and we never looked back!.
This is the third handle I have had, and the third premature failure. On average they last six months. All develop the same fault. Having taken two apart to recycle their batteries, the fault is obvious – the vibrating head assembly is constrained by one tiny screw.
Someone should sack the engineer. This time I am getting my money back and NEVER buying Philips again!.
These cups are BPA-free and dishwasher safe, and the contoured shape and anti-slip texture grips make it easy for little hands to hold. The unique bent-straw in the cup allows it to easily reach everything the cup contains, while still allowing for a natural drinking position.
The flip-top even closes to prevent leaks while your kid is on the go. This cup is for kids 12 months and older.
Overall I really like this toddler cup, definitely the best of the many I have tried. I prefer the Avent brand and all of my childrens bottles have been Avent. As for toddler cups, this one has been the best all around for us.
One of the most important things I was looking for was a cup that wouldn’t leak in my purse, and I have not had an issue with this one! Every other cup claiming to be no-spill has leaked. The lid slides of the flexible straw, bending it so no water can come out (like kinking a hose).
A couple times when I have slid the lid back to open it for my son a little water squirted out, but better than leaking in my purse! I love that the interior straw piece is bent because it reaches all the way into the edge at the bottom so when my son has little water left and is holding the bottle at an angle he can still drink it.
My only issue with the cup is that the size at the bottom is slightly too big for almost all cup holders. So it does not fit in the cup holder on the tray of the stroller, which is unfortunate since my son will put it on the tray and it falls off often.
But I have just resorted to holding on to it for him until he asks for it. If Avent could fix that one thing this cup would be perfect!.
Learning to drink from a straw is an important developmental milestone that develops lip rounding and promotes speech development. The ezpz Mini Cup + Straw Training System teaches toddlers to drink from an open cup and safely learn to use a straw.
Helps toddlers succeed with the 3-Phase Developmental Drinking Method (by Ms. Dawn Winkelmann, M. S, CCC-SLP). Straw serves as both a Beginner Training Straw + an Advanced Training Straw. Reduces spillage.
Portion Size: 4oz. 100% Silicone (BPA, BPS, PVS, phthalate and latex free). Dishwasher safe. Built to last (silicone will not wear, fade or corrode).
I wanted to like this cup because it is the perfect size and cute, however I have only been using it for two weeks now and had to throw it away. I hand washed with Dawn dish soap and warm water as I always do each day and left it to dry upside down on drying grass.
Next morning, there was a lot of mold on the bottom of the cup and also on the underside of the lid near the straw. I couldn’t not wash it out of the bottom. I washed this cup every day, sometimes twice, and my daughter would only drink water with a very light splash of apple juice in this cup.
I have also bought two other Ezpz tiny cups without straws and one of them arrived with lots of scratch marks on the bottom like a knife was in there. At this price point the silicone molding should be smooth.
Out of 3 cups only 1 has been okay. From my experience, Ezpz does not offer quality cups.
I wanted to love this cup so much! It’s made really really well. But the problem is my baby can squeeze the cup and the lid immediately pops off. The cup by itself would be a nice way to learn just a sip out of a cup but the straw and lid function just doesn’t do it.
It’s a little baby can pop it off with his fists it’s just a mess waiting to happen.
My little boy loves this cup. It is now the only cup we use at home. The perfect size for his little hands and so easy to drink out of. The amount of water he drinks has gone up a lot since I introduced this.
The only downside is that when he knocks it over it can leak.
The Philips Avent Bendy straw cup has ergonomically designed handles which are ideal to practice drinking the first few sips from a straw, while facilitating a healthy oral development. These cups are developed by experts to be the best straw cup possible, and they are compatible with both the Philips Avent Natural and Classic+ bottle and cup range.
Our complete range is designed to support your child and you in every step of the journey towards independent drinking. Composition BPA Free Polypropylene How to Use Do not sterilize any part of the straw cup in the microwave without using a microwave sterilizer.
Do not put the straw cup in the freezer compartment. To prevent scalding, let hot liquid cool down before you fill the straw cup.
Loved this cup so much! It was really comfortable to use, to hold in small hands, and it was so cute. We have 4 of them in different colors. But, they have one huge minus – leaking. They leaked always.
But I always tried to put them into right position to avoid leaking, because there were more pros than cons of those bottles :).
Flip from sippy cup to straw cup in a flash. This 2-in-1 cup easily transitions from spout to straw to adapt to baby’s stage and age. Removable handles are easy for kids to grip, while the silicone spout and straw are flexible and gentle on little mouths.
My son absolutely love this cups. They are so easy to use and carry. Sip-To-Straw Cups are a life saver for me and my son. I have a son with autism and severe sensory issues and this cups with the different size of straws are his favorite.
He even stop using his bottles and now only uses his Sip-To-Straw Cups. I’m so happy. We fill them up with his drink and he chooses the straw and he loves it. The straw is thick and he can’t chew it so this is a plus.
I will be buying another set. Love the color because is neutral. So it’s boy and girl neutral. It’s the perfect mint green color.
I gave this sippy cup to my 7 month old son as his first sippy. He got the hang of it really quickly and it’s easy for him to use with the little handles. I love that it has a straw side as well for him to practice with a straw, although right now he mainly just chews on the straw!! The plastic sippy/straw part is a little hard to get in and out of the blue lid, but I do it nightly to properly clean it.
If you don’t get it put back together properly it will leak as we learned the hard way when my husband didn’t realize he didn’t have it together correctly. Love this cup though!! Would highly recommend!!!.
Transitioning our weaning toddler with these cups and she loves them. She constantly moves the lid back and forth. The lid does come off easily after sitting discarded in a hiding spot unlike other silly type cups.
Always rinse both sides of the lid after going through dishwasher as it does make it difficult to get both sides rinsed and clean at once. Also survived very lengthy fetch games from the high chair onto a tile floor without cracking.
This isn’t your ordinary sippy cup. BOT features the original SILIFLEX-straw technology, designed with a weighted ball! The straw follows liquids, regardless of which way the cup is turned. With its valve-free flexible straw, weighted ball and integrated handle, both babies and toddlers will find it easy to sip to the last drop.
Also available with lilac, ash, blush, and mist lids.
From 12 months onward, your little one becomes a lot more active. Our 9oz straw cup is ideal at this stage, designed to keep busy toddlers happy and hydrated all day! Straw cups are great alternatives to sippy cups, with a soft straw helping to develop sipping skills.
The soft, silicone straw is easy to drink through and little ones dont have to tip the cup up very far to drink from it. In between sips, the straw flips down to prevent spills and keep your bag or the floor clean.
As with most Tommee Tippee cups, you can interchange parts like lids and bases, although handles are not compatible with insulated cups. The insulated base minimizes condensation and keeps water cool to encourage drinking and keep kids cool while playing.
The toddler straw sippy cup is super easy to clean – either in hot, soapy water or on the top shelf of the dishwasher. It’s safe for steam, UV, or microwave sterilization, too. All our products are BPA, BPS, PVC, Phthalate and Nitrosamine free for your ultimate reassurance.
I was a little nervous going into this because of two things. One, is it really leakproof and two, how easy is this to clean. As a mom of 2 under 2 being easy and quick to clean is one of my top priorities.
I can say this product exceeded my expectations for both. For the cleaning aspect there’s only 4 pieces. The bottle, the lid and a plastic and silicone piece that goes in the lid. I washed the whole thing in less then 30 seconds which is huge for me as I get limited time during the day to wash all the kids bottles and cups.
As for being leak proof, they weren’t kidding. I put it through two tests, the first one I turned it upside down and shook it and nothing came out. The second test I gave it to my daughter and she carried it upside down and was shaking it and not a single drop came out.
This product is amazing and I would definitely recommend it!!! Great job Tommee Tippee!.
BOT XL features the same innovative straw technology as the original BOT straw cup. The flexible straw allows it to move freely in any direction the cup is tilted ensuring that babies and toddlers will be ale to drink to the last drop.
Integrated handles with flip lid makes it easy for toddlers to hold.
Let Minnie Mouse help your little one learn how to sip from a straw! The weighted end of the straw on this Disney Weighted Straw Trainer Cup stays with the liquid and lets your child sip from any angle.
No more frustrated sippers! The silicone straw helps them get every last drop as they learn to use it. With two handles that make it easy for babies to hold on to, this sippy cup is great for little ones practicing with a straw for the first time.
Your baby will love sipping with a favorite Disney friend and parents will love the spill-proof design that helps keeps the drink in the cup. The cup is dishwasher safe, and the weight at the end of the silicone straw removes easily for a thorough clean.
Use and care instructions enclosed. Dispose wrap and ribbon prior to use.
Reviews From Real Customers
My son loves this cup! I love how the flow is slowed down so they can learn how to drink from a straw after being so used to bottles/sippy cups. My son is wild and tends to bang the cup on his high chair and the inner weighted straw attachment has only fell out once.
If your child is rough, the will scratch off (ours no longer has a nose, haha) but I’m not worried about cup cosmetics and neither is my little one. This is the first straw he ever drank from and he’s a pro at all straws now! We had to buy a second when they went on sale.
My 17 month old daughter loves this cup. She loves to carry it around and say, “nose! eyes! ears!” The weighted straw is very effective and she can drink from it from any angle. It’s easy to clean (all components come apart easily), and surprisingly doesn’t leak, even when laying on its side.
This is a VERY important feature of a straw cup, and in my experience most toddler cups do leak, so I have been happy with this. The only downside is that there is no lid/cover or option to tuck the straw down.
This means the cup won’t work for traveling or putting in a backpack. We have enjoyed using this cup around the house, so it’s not a major complaint.
Munchkin’s SnackCatch & Sip™ combination cup may just be your toddler’s new favourite way to snack. The lid of this straw cup has a snack catcher built into the top and can hold up to 4oz. of your little ones’ favourite treat.
Fitted with soft flaps it makes snacks easy to access but not spill out. The combination of the silicone straw and screw-on lid’s tight seal prevents leaks and spills. The cup can hold up to 9oz. of milk juice or water.
Plus this cup has convenient handles to make it easy for even the smallest hands to hold. It’s time to snack and sip in style! Suitable from 12+ Months.
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. We are huge fans of Munchkin products, and have been since having kids. This product is absolutely no exception. The 2-in-1 snack catcher and cup is such a handy thing to have.
We were carrying a cup and a snack container separately, which just meant one more thing for Mom to keep up with. It fits nicely in our stroller cup holder, and is very similar to the other Munckin snack cups.
This product is easy to take apart, and wash. And – so far, completely spill proof which is HUGE! My kiddo loves this cup even without the snacks in it.
This is a really neat concept! It is so convenient and helps to minimize the “stuff” that goes along with kids since it’s a twin in one deal. Not to mention, my kids are so excited about this and think it is so fun to carry around both their drink and snack.
The only downside is it makes my kids want to have a snack at all times ha ha! The brilliant part of it is that it is spill proof when everything is sealed properly. That is always beneficial and appreciated from a mom‘s perspective.
An added bonus is that the straw that is used for the inside of the cup is a generic size and shape so it is interchangeable with just about all the other straws that belong to other cups we have. So I don’t need to stress about finding the exact straw for this cup.
When your little one is ready for more than a dinner time sip, this Straw Cup with a 230ml capacity comes in handy. The soft silicone straw is really easy to drink through, and they don’t need to tip the cup as much as they do with a sippee cup.
When you’re out and about the straw flips down to stay clean and prevent spills.
The mOmma straw cup with dual handles combines shape, color and a unique rocking motion to engage baby during mealtime and stimulate development. The modern and innovative in and out straw system stores the straw within the lid to prevent leaks and ensures maximum hygiene when on the go.
Round ergonomic shape and soft handles are specially designed for your baby’s hands to grip while the 100% silicone soft straw is gentle on baby’s developing teeth and gums. Safe and hygienic, the cup rocks but remains upright to prevent the straw from coming into contact with the surfaces of tables or highchairs.
The cup is interchangeable with other mOmma tops. It is recommended for ages 9 months plus, dishwasher and microwave safe and BPA free. Replacement straws are available and sold separately.
I find this product as good as the previous reviews had stated. There is however, one issue that should be addressed, disassembly for a complete cleaning. My daughter noticed some “gunk” (for the lack of knowing what it really was) leaking out from beneath the orange dome while hand washing the cup.
I then searched this site to find instructions but there were none to be found. After fifteen minutes of trying to take it apart without breaking it I was able to separate all the pieces. Like most baby or infant products all parts should be accessible for a good, healthy cleaning.
A set of how to instructions would complete this item for my five star-rating.
I have a 9 1/2 month old and recently have needed to supplement her with formula. I had only tried 2 bottles; which she absolutely hated and refused, when a friend suggested I try a straw cup. Specifically the mOmma.
By then, I researched numerous brands, as I needed something where the ounces where imprinted on the cup, to make formula measuring easy. low and behold, this straw cup has worked. Though it’s for a 12 month old, my 9 1/2 month old loves it.
she drinks out of the straw with ease and supplementing her is no problem. I totally recommend this for anyone having issues with a baby accepting bottles. totally give a straw cup a try. Another plus, it does not spill.
I wish I would have listened to the reviews about it being hard to use. For some reason the straw is not like a normal straw. It actually needs to be slightly bitten or something in order to suck liquid up it.
My son is 13 mths and can use a regular straw but he couldn’t get anything out of this one. I tried it and realized it worked but was hard to make it flow with a normal suck. I guess thats what makes it soill proof but not the easiest to use.

The cup is dishwasher safe on the upper rack. Do not forget to remove the silicone seal and clean it by hand for effective cleaning.
These cups are awesome! They’re somewhere between a water bottle and a sippy cup. My little guy loves them and they’re definitely completely spill proof. The only downside is that they have the little plastic piece inside but it’s super easy to get completely clean so I didn’t take a star off.
It’s worth it and the price is worth it too. Shipping to US from overseas can take a little extra time too. #mommusthave.
I bought it for my toddler son 8 months ago to switch milk bottles. It was great shot, because he didn’t have problem with switching. Its not leaking. Good for traveling, have top which can close the bottle.
Also this bottle is great to make natural flavored water and fruits aren’t clogging anything. Easy to clean, cute looking.
I got this cup for my son after he turned one. This cup is super easy to clean. I like the top so I can take it anywhere with us on a way out. This cup helped a lot my son, he finally learned how to put up the cup so he can drink from it.

Straws are not intended to be used as a teether. Please do not allow your child to bite or chew on straws as this could lead to leakage, tearing or breaking. ABOUT – Material: 100% silicone – Easy-grip handles – Lightweight – Dishwasher safe DETAILSDimensions: Cup: H 9. 5 cm W 11. 5 cm C 140 ml. Straw: H 14 cm W 1 cm Washing instructions: Cup: Dishwasher safe – Wash in dishwasher or hand wash – Dry product thoroughly with a dry cloth – The use of mild or unperfumed soap for dish washing is advised – Straw: Not dishwasher safe – Clean with a bottle brush.
Bought this for my three year old who loves lying down to drink. I wanted something I could microwave, dishwash and without BPAs and this delivers on this. My main gripe in the air hole at the top (not the nozzle).
A small but persistent dribble comes out when my daughter drinks and even she’s complaining about it, not wanting to use these. I am sure there’s a technical reason why it’s there but it is annoying and undermines the otherwise great product.
I really like this sippy cup. It is cute but most importantly it is practical. While the design is not technically leak-proof, I find that it is very sturdy and relatively mess-free. Once assembled, it stays put, so baby isn’t able to open it.
Even if baby throws it on the ground, there will be a few drops spilled, but the cup it likely to stay closed. I have not yet found another silicone cup that is as good for that.
