20 Best Stethoscope And Blood Pressure Kit (2023 Updated)

This blood pressure kit is not worth the money. It comes with no instructions and spare parts you have no idea what their purpose is. After assembling the stethoscope I could barely hear the pulse. The release valve on the blood pressure cuff was very stiff, so it was very difficult, almost impossible, to release the air slowly and thus get a reading.

This purchase was a waste of money. I should have known better.

It wouldnt work it wouldnt stay inflated and it was terrible needed it to practice with so I can take my cna skill test but wasnt able to had to return.

Great isolation of sound from earpieces, easily listens to breath sounds and pulse. cuff is a little smaller than expected but fits most athletes. Would definitely recommend this for home users, EMTs like me, and anyone who needs vitals on the go.

Let’s get things straight, this is not going to be the best of the best to use. However, as a simple monitor I like to practice with and keep at home, this is perfect! It works just as intended, a little cheap and flimsy in its ways, but works overall pretty good.

The stethoscope is probably about the worst part of this kit. It’s cheap, uncomfortable, and I just use my own stethoscope that I had. If you’re expecting this to be some hospital grade quality kit, probably don’t get it.

Despite that, if you want something that will work and save you money in the end, this is definitely for you!.

It is well made, very simple not complicated at all and given a chance the cats or dogs will most likely love it.

A low quality product. Stethoscope is single sided with a diaphragm that is of such poor quality that you can barely hear a heartbeat. The cuff is plastic, not a coated fabric. Pressure gage looks solid, but I am suspect, given the all-around poor quality of this set.

Earpieces have small tips, perfect for getting jammed in an ear canal. On the positive side, it looks good from a distance. Great for costumes or “playing doctor”. Probably don’t want to bet a patient’s life on this very affordable piece of faux medical equipment.

It is OK to have around with your first aid kit as it is better than nothing. This is not of the same quality as the doctors use so I have no Idea how long it will last. For those looking to role play being the head nurse well this will do nicely.

The sphyg and steth are one of those, you get what you pay for type of items. They work and they seem like if well taken care of I should have no problem. They came with the calibrating key which is cool.

The stethoscope is basic it does have dual Bell, but no way to block one sound off one side, itll do for now.

I had a hospital-grade manual blood pressure cuff/stethoscope/meter that I recently gave to a friend who’d just had a stroke, so I wanted to get myself another one. I was amazed that this one was the same quality at such a good cost!! And, YES, you really CAN take your own reading! It’s very easy – just read the instructions and keep the meter where you can see it.

I was also pleased that Walmart had already attached the tubes on the kit so I didn’t have to – I can see where it would be a tad difficult to get them on. I paid for this online using Walmart’s “Site to Store” service, which I found so much better than waiting for it to be delivered to my door.

It came right away. One more thing – I’d suggest NOT to ever buy one of those electronic or digital Blood Pressure readers. I had one that I’d paid $89 for years back and its readings seemed all over the place after one month (!) and then it died.

A good way to keep track of how well ANY monitor or manual reader is performing, is to drop in at your doctor’s a few times to compare it. Doctor’s now often let you come in for BP readings free of charge.

And you’ll notice most of them use these manual readers.

Good quality and easy to operate. With manual pump and stethoscope, blood pressure can be measured faster and more accurately than by electronic monitors. One drawback is the bag is way too small, when the thing is out, you never can put it back.

I was looking for BP cuff that I could monitor my own blood pressure. The one I have is good quality and served me for many years, but has finally quit working. So, I was looking for a replacement with the same features: a sliding bar cuff with a quality stethoscope, gauge, bulb & valve.

I was willing to pay a little more for these features. These are not easy to find and after going through numerous medical equipment sites and customer reviews, I was able to find this one. Delivery was about 10 days.

The Quality appears to meet my expectations; similar to my current cuff. It performs well, giving the same readings my current cuff did. The valve is alittle tricky to control pressure release. Hopefully that improves with use.

Will it last remains to be seen?.

I did not try that before getting this. I asked to return it but you asking booking fee. I couldn’t ring you and ask anything about that and sorry I will let all my friends know to be carful. I learnt my lesson.

Except for being maybe 20-30 off on both systole and diastole, in OPPOSITE directions (not just a calibrate issue) yada yada. No kidding, it’s a piece of junk. I was a paramedic for decades since the 70s.

I grew up knowing how to auscultate BPs. Nobody’s going to get any kind of accurate reading with this thing. I bought it to use the bladder for a shop tool leveling jig. Likely work fine for that and it’s cheap.

But please don’t take your BP with this thing. You’ll be convinced you’re either having a TIA or you’re DOA. this is my email adresse:

I have this stethoscope myself, I went into nursing and recently switched to medical assisting; my college sells Prestige Medical Stethoscopes and Blood Pressure Kits and that’s where I purchased mine.

I love my stethoscope and I have it in the color blue. It’s easy to use and easy to hear. Prestige Medical is a brand I love and trust. I highly recommend these! 3.

Convenient. Looks sturdy. The stethoscope allows to hear the sounds clearly enough. The pouch is a little bit small, but still can accommodate both the sleeve and the stethoscope, plus the few small replacement parts that com with these in a separate pocket.

The rubber pipes never self-detach from other parts, and don’t bend flatly, which was an issue with my previous device.

Looks good. Function was poor. Stethoscope was shiny with alot of parts bit it’s functionality was very poor. Same with the cuff.

My niece is a health professional. I bought it as a gift to her. I recommend it.

Its a bit misleading saying lifetime warranty because when you go onto Prestige website for this particular stethoscope (basic) it only has 1 year warranty. For the price you pay, it does the job if you are a nursing student and just want something basic to practice on.

Got this early was to get on Tues arrived Saturday. Perfect. Gift for grand-daughter-in law. Started at new Dr office deserved new equipment. Looks great. Will go nice with Littman stethoscope

This is a good kit for a student. I used it throughout nursing school, and it was the first time I was able to actually hear the sound of the blood. When we practiced in the lab I couldn’t hear anything.

Of course after graduating and passing the NCLEX I got a Littman. But this is a good starter kit for a decent price.

Have a stethoscope at hand to check blood pressures at any given time is a plus these ones are more accurate than the automatic blood pressure cuffs. so someone in your household needs to learn how to use a stethoscope and blood-pressure cuff get your day get get yours at Walmart or your local Walgreens CVS ect.

I was immediately disappointed once I received my package when I opened it to notice it was obviously burgundy and NOT Magenta pink as I was anticipating. This company does sell burgundy yet my product clearly indicated mine was Magenta.

So if your expecting pink or Magenta when you order this color then be aware that the color is dark like burgundy and not at all bright pink. I immediately returned to Walmart for a refund so I cant even share my opinion on its performance.

I bought this stethoscope because I just finished my EMT course and was starting to work with the peramedic. This stethoscope so far hasn’t failed me once when I had to us it. [. ]I would give the stethoscope a rating of 5 out of 5.

I’m currently taking EMT-B and needed a stethoscope and pressure cuff set for assessments on a budget, and this set fit the bill perfectly. My instructor is a paramedic and recommended a 3M Tactical Medic stethoscope but they are around $300.

they’re worth it, but I couldn’t swing it right now. Once I become a paramedic I will probably get one, but for now this set does all I need. Tubing is great quality and I can auscultate pulse and lung sounds just fine.

Honestly I wasn’t expecting much for $50 shipped. but I was surprised. Anyone on a budget who needs a good set, get this. You won’t be disappointed.

I use it once a week to check me and my husband BP and it us easy to use and accurate result when I vomare it to result we got from Doctors’ officr. Great buy!

These are useful tools of course, but various colors permit a user to keep up with theirs. I have and do recommend this to others.

Terrible product!!! Not accurate and a big hassle to send it back. I even had to buy a box foe Walmart to ship it back. I’ll never order from Walmart.com again.

I am not waiting to be asked for my review! I just got my kit about thirty minutes ago. This is what I have been looking for. My arm is 16. 5″. This cuff is catalogued as 17″. It feels bigger! The D-ring assists me in self-taking.

The stethoscope is loud and clear. I tried others of lower/higher costs, but this one is perfect. I only hope the quality exceeds the price.

Although I only gave it 4 stars, I do love this system. It is quite easy to use – I was replacing an Omron 10 series from 2014 because the rigid cuff that came with the older system gave me falsely high readings.

The problem I have is that I have gotten false high readings with this system, too. I found that out when I went to the doctor with these readings only to find that my BP was actually normal. He explained that many home units give falsely elevated readings.

The EKG feature was flawless. Another negative is battery life. Unfortunately, this unit does not have rechargeable batteries and will not plug in. After only a few days of use, I am already at less than 40%.

This unit was providing readings well above my norms. Took it with me on a visit to my cardiologist and had it tested against the hospital machines. It consistently provided readings at least 20 points higher.

I wrote to Omron and they wrote back that I should call. I called and spent 15 minutes listening to a rep instruct me on the proper application of the cuff. We then took a reading and it was again 20 points high and consistent with previous erroneous readings.

I was instructed to package up the maachine and ship it – AT MY EXPENSE – to a lab for testing. Certainly not worth the $200 purchase price and the aggravation!.

Here is what i just wrote omron. I purchased the following: Omron complete Omron platinum Kardio 6L My disapointment is immense. Your app designers have designed the app for idiot apple users. 1) every android user knows enough to pair a blue tooth device.

Your products require you to unpair through the phones settings if you have already done this and connect via the app this is counter intuitive and wastes a lot of end user time. 2) connecting to kardia 6L does not work because each time you do it (again through app only) you force the user to go through a presentation which freezes at the “align A facing upwards” step.

Conseqently i can never move forward with an EKG. 3) i returned the omron complete because while i was eventually able to connect bluetooth, apparently you transfer data to the app via sound and a tablet does not fit in the pocket the device has.

It was able to work but only 5% of the time despite having a strong signal. 4) why on earth do you transfer data by sound? I suspect bluetooth does not have the data transfer rate required but why cant you record on device and transfer the data after via bluetooth? 5) why on earth are you using a bluetooth button on your hardware as an “accept” button for everything this is incredibly counter intuitive to any one whous not an apple user.

The omron complete is rediculous to do anything you have to press start which runs the pump and tries to take blood pressure, the platinum at least has arrow buttons but you need a dedicated “accept” or “ok” button.

5) why do you bury the add/remove device in blood pressure monitoring. It should be in the root of settings like everything else in the world. Perhaps settings->device management (again this was not in manual i had to go to your website and dig into frequently asked questions.

Hint frequently asked questions are frequent because you have not addressed in manual or your device is counter intuitive 6) having to give you my address just to contact you is disturbing, fortunately you do not require my social security number.

please dont send me more junk mail. 7) if i dont recieve a solution to Kardio connect in 1 week i am returning all this garbage and purchasing chinese products, i have equally low expectations but at least it will cost less and there wont be the obvious upsell “premium” contract motive in the background.

Good blood pressure cuff. I already had a stethoscope. I am a 65 year old retired nurse and trust manual blood pressure cuffs more.

I like everything except for the stethoscope. You can hear pretty well through the small side but you can hear nothing from the big side. I love the color. Everything else works great

The blood pressure cuff is of GREAT QUALITY. I’ve used it several times to check my BP as well as others. Im having trouble however understanding the instructions to properly balance and adjusting the manometer.

The key doesn’t seem to fit to get the nanometer set properly. For this reason. my score for this item is a four (4).

Sounds great, really good quality for the price. Overall im happy with the purchase. Only complaint i can make is that the stethoscope is not burgundy it is really light almost a pinkish tone to it.

it help me with what I needed it for, great thing to keep around the house. Product was good

cons: 1. Bluetooth synchronisation seems not working most of times. 2. with WiFi syncronisation, faced issue couple of times. 3. Profiling right user is not user friendly and does not work always and due to this wrong measurements go to users data and result in wrong analysis.

4. Most of times ECG will show as inclonclusive for kids and some times even for adults. Not quite samples been used for analysis. So analysis not so reliable. 5. It lacks noise cancellation. May times it complains of too much noisy during heart sounds capturing and analysis.

6. Price is on higher side. Pros: Device to monitor BP and heart health.

Slick, comfortable all in one unit. Blood pressure seems more consistent and believable than the 4 others I compared this to. ECG and digital stethoscope feature make this a comprehensive exam that stores neatly in the app, with the ability to share with doctor.

Important you wear this in the correct orientation to get the stethoscope to work and you must select whos wearing it at the end with a swipe on the light bar. This select has failed a few times meaning the other user gets your readings combined with theres.

This is problematic as it takes at least four clear heart recordings to formulate an opinion on function. The unit plus shipping and duty makes it very expensive compared to any BP and ECG combo, but this is the coolest and slickest if money is not the main concern.

I would recommend despite the expense.

Like everything in life, you get what you pay for. The Core is well designed and very simple to use. The battery is rechargeable, and like their other products it lasts ages and charges quickly. It is very comfortable and well made.

The display is clear and easy to understand. All data is displayed on the device and also transferred seamlessly to the Withings app, which is also simple to use and records all your stats from all your Withings devices.

The data also presents itself within the Apple health app perfectly. I have purchased the Withings Thermo and the Withings smart scales, which when combined give me an excellent overview of my current health.

I highly recommend these products, I enjoy using them and the quality is self evident. Buy with confidence, Im glad I did.
