Foot portion of the men’s size medium was extremely small. They went to my son @ Fort Bragg. He wears a size 11 boot. I wish I had purchased size large. The description of the medium was for sizes 10 to 13.

I thought size large for 13 to 15 would be too large but they would have been a better fit.

When I see these socks, I say to myself, “Boy, these are some nice socks”. Got 3 pairs, wore every pair. Not at the same time though. Although if I did, they are a nice quality pair of socks, and every one of them is universal.

Left foot, right foot, two left feet, three right feet, it doesn’t matter, they fit every time. Next time I need some socks, I know right where to go!.

I have to wear black socks as part of my uniform but black socks turn my toenails black. These socks are perfect as I can wear the black socks without getting black toenails. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable.

Run extremely small, I have an 11 shoe and bought the 8-12 socks, these socks should be 8-9, next time I’ll get the XL. They are thin, both tops and bottoms, so far no holes but I’ve only washed them twice.

I got 10 or so pairs of these 4 years ago and cycle through them during the week. I use them all year despite it being a cold weather sock. I’ve never had an issue with my feet getting too hot and the padding really helps makes boots more comfortable.

They’ve also held up to 4 years of abuse with no issues. Some have color faded from countless washes but you’d only be able to tell if you compared them to a brand new sock. None have broken down yet but I’ll be asking for more from family for this holiday season.

When I first saw them I thought the price was outrageous but considering how long they last and how they stay perfect the whole time it’s more than worth it. If it helps sway you, I’ve used these socks in Korea and now Fort Drum.

Stuff them in a good cold weather boot and you’ll never have an issue.

I have a hard time finding socks that are both comfortable and warm enough to keep my feet happy through subzero temps here in the Rockies while I’m out doing ranch chores, but I finally found these! I have been wearing these socks for years and they are, in my opinion, the best long socks around. While wearing pants I like a sock that goes up over my calf and stays there. These do just that and last! I have had a few pairs for about three years now that I’m finally just throwing out due to holes on the soles.

The socks provide the comfort and capabilities as described in the product write up. They are absolutely great initially (and they never lose the elasticity over time, and also are not too tight). I wear combat boots/hiking boots daily for the team I am on.

so, the socks matter (especially since the boots are issued). These are my preferred socks to wear, especially if I am on an extended mission (anything over 24 hours). however, the longevity of these socks are questionable.

I own around 6 pairs, and almost all of them are done due to the quality of the heals. The socks hold up well everywhere else, except in the heals (for me). Every single pair has holes in the heals in the exact same spot after 1.

5 to 2 years of normal use. Unfortunately, I have some Nike Dri-Fits that also go above the calves that have held up significantly better and for much longer periods of time. I say unfortunately, because I am a huge fan of 5.

11 (and their support of the military/LEO communities) and these 5. 11 socks are more comfortable when in good condition.

Bought Carhartt socks for many, many , many years. I usually have at least a couple dozen in my drawer. These are not at all what they used to be. They used to be primarily cotton, good weight, and great fit.

These sucks are about 1/3 the weight, and way too tight. I mean TIGHT!. They are so tight they squeeze my toes together. I have to remove my boots and socks at lunch break simply to get some air to my toes.

They are crushed together because of my socks. They also create a very sweaty environment inside my work boots. Although I have never worn pantyhose, I have to put them on the same way my wife used to have to put on her pantyhose…pinching the super thin fabric and inching it on a little at a time.

Do NOT buy these socks if you are looking for a decent quality cotton sweat sock. I threw 2 dozen away. It is ridiculous that Carhartt makes this (in another country) and tries to pawn them off as durable cotton work socks.

Please Carhartt, charge more and make a decent sock. These suck and suck bad. Leaves rings and marks on my ankles and feet they are so TIGHT.

Been buying these Carhartt socks for years. always a fan of these socks. Always been extremely comfortable and long lasting and of Quality, usually wore them out before the would become “ quitters”….

meaning the elastic would wear out and the top would sag. The one I just order are NOT of the same quality, very , very thin feel to them , I highly doubt they will last ! Didn’t know if Carhartt using a different manufacturer or probably being made over sea now.

So much for being made in the USA ! Very thin material now…. definitely won’t hold up. Not the Quality I’ve come expect from Carhartt !.

These crew work socks are by far made with less quality than before. These were the only socks I’ve purchased for several years. I just ordered new ones and they are now they are made way thinner than before and also seems like less cotton is being used.

Far from the quality the regular Carhartt customers came to expect and enjoy for the money spent. I wont be purchasing these any more unless they go back to how they made them in past. Cutting corners to save money = loss of reliable customers.

Granted, these were not expensive socks. However, paying anything over $3. 00 for these socks is too much. Here is why: These Under Armour socks are too thin. Definitely too thin in the foot and lower ankle area.

Out of the small sock package, these socks practically scream, “We’re only going to last about 4-5 games/practices before you see significant rips and holes. ” My pair already featured a small tear in the lower ankle area before trying on the first time, a tear that will only grow right away if/when used in a 2-hour practice.

The pair I received also ran a bit small. Those commenting on the size being small and thus making it difficult to wedge in proper shinguards are accurate in what they share with you in these reviews.

I would not buy these again. A very poor job from Under Armour. Caveat: If you are one who cuts away the foot section and just wears better cotton socks for your feet (like many pros do), maybe these cheap nylon/polyester UA socks can work for you.

Yes, they are thin material. Almost like mesh when stretched into place. Thus a bit more breathable. So it might work for someone playing in a hot & humid game situation. But don’t pay anything over $3.

Wish Under Armour would make them how they use to make the ABU colored ones. Were my favorite ultra thin socks for years. New ones are way too small even on largest size. Rim of sock blows out after a few uses and holes instantly form on heels.

Feels cheap.

The best longest lasting sock i have ever worn. I am a power lineman and wear boots 7 days a week. I have worn the same 7 pair for several years and the elasticity is still like new. Finally i have worn holes in the heels of a couple of pair but that is from my boots rubbing on them because they are very tight getting on and off.

The socks wick sweat in the summer to keep your feet dry and able to breath and they also keep my feet warm in the winter. Thick cotton socks are not better in cold. I will never buy anything else. They may cost more that dollar store socks but look at the long lasting quality and comfort.

I just ordered 5 more pair because they were a great price.

Injinji ultra compression socks are a nice recovery socks after a long run. It’s also a great sock to wear if you are on your feet the whole day to relieve stress and fatigue on your legs. Highly recommended!.

Needed boot hight durable socks. I am familiar with Fits hiking socks bit was seeing wear on the surface. Reading about the design of the Tactical boot socks I figured this would be a better way to go.

I was not wrong, I wear are Irish Setter engineer boots with the Red Wing inserts. These socks pretty much stay up for the whole 10 hour shift. Walking between the buildings, up and down ladders and under floor wireing keeps them working.

Feet are as comfortable and dry as can be in a boot. The socks improve the feel of the boot inserts as well. I am also about 6 foot and 280, so my feet take a fair bit of stress.

Only have worn the Light Tactical Weight pair so far. Your salesperson described these socks as going up the leg to only just above the ankle. Fortunately, I was happy that the salesperson description was wrong, as my pair reaches to my kneecap which is what I desired.

Wearing these socks at night allows my use of just a light blanket, even with my lower legs poor circulation. Exactly what this 83 year old desired. These socks also wear very well so far during use while playing three times a week, or more, at tournament level tennis play.

The Light Tactical Crew is a great fitting sock that stays in place all day long. It’s not quite as comfortable as some of the other FITS socks, but definitely exceptable for long days on your feet. The material seems to be very durable and I expect they will outlast my other FITS.

I would definitely recommend these for those in the military, or anyone who puts a lot of miles on their feet. The customer service I received when ordering online was outstanding. I made a mistake when applying the military discount and it was quickly taken care of after sending an email explaining the situation.

I got these for my husband’s first officer job. He often rides a motorcycle to work, and it’s very hot where we live, so I wanted something that wouldn’t be too thick. I also was wanting some patterns that would look good with his suit.

These socks are very soft. I love fabrics like bamboo that are l feel good on the skin, and this almost reminds me of bamboo. They are not thin material, but very lightweight as well as absorbent. I especially like the option variety.

They come in black and brown themes, maybe more, but I only looked at those. He wears a lot of grey, and the black-themed sets coordinate really well. He has a solid pair as well as two patterned pairs.

I’d love to find socks in this material but with my style. They fit our need and then some.

Thanks to target I got to try these socks in exchange for an honest review. Upon opening the socks I didn’t see anything much different that the copper looking socks sold by another competitor. But upon closer inspection and several wears.

I realize there is a HUGE difference. They don’t wear down in the heel like the other ones do. They also don’t fade and loose elasticity. They don’t put unwanted pressure and make your leg hurt above where the sock is.

They are hands down the best socks I’ve worn. And they also keep me from having tired feet at the end of my 16 hour shift at the hospital. If you’re looking foe a comfortable sock, this one is it.

I really like these socks, they’re thick and comfy but not too thick. On the top of the sock the material is slightly thinner which is great for breathability whilst still being thicker on the underside.

Working 12 hour shifts in protective boots and on my feet these are a great product and I’d highly recommend. Price is also quite and fit is perfect for me as a size 8, not too loose and not to tight.

It would be great if they came in a dark green colour too.

Been wearing/using couple weeks or so now and they appear to be holding up well. Lost their newness with obvious signs of wear after a fair plodding of miles in boots in the recent hot weather, my feet usually sweat quite a bit but these have been of great benefit allowing my feet to breath and the boots and feet /boot sweat build up much much less.

They are also very comfy and cosy without the bulk of some other boot socks, a good all round sock.

I bought these after my boots were giving me horrendous blisters and normal socks just weren’t cutting it. Since I’ve started wearing these, I’ve had zero blisters. They’re that good I ordered 3 more pairs!.

This is my third order for these socks, all have been marked Jefferies / irregulars but have proven to be well-made and comfortable. They’re not as supportive as the military socks I purchased years ago, nor do they contain much, if any, wool, but they hold up well under daily use and are much easier to put on than the older version.

I only ordered this batch because I wanted to have them on hand in case they become no-longer available, as do most popular items. From my own experience with daily wear, I can honestly say that these should last me for years to come.

I gave them a 4-star rating only because of their lack of wool, otherwise a really good sock, in my opinion. I wear no others!.

Just got my socks with the new boots I bought. The socks are comfortable, they seem to fit ok & they are at least mid calf in height. I’m 6’3″ so that’s pretty good for my long legs. I think these will work well for warmer weather hiking & hunting & on motorcycle rides.

However, these are not wool blend as advertised (80% polyester, 17% nylon, & 3% spandex per the label on the bag) & they are marked as “slight irregulars,” which was not mentioned. I will say that other than a misplaced thread or two, I don’t see anything seriously irregular about them.

Picky inspectors? For about $3. 00 a pair and U. S made, they should work just fine. I’ll see how long they last. SG should be more accurate in their product descriptions, however.

I have bought these socks multiple times over the past 7+ years. Each time they have been Jeffries uniform socks, and none have been irregulars. They are lightly padded. The shaft is not really elasticized, only the top 3 inches or so.

I like that since they don’t constrict my legs. So when worn they don’t really look like they do in the picture. More loose fitting around the ankles. I get the Size large which fits me, size 10 shoes.

I get at least two years out of each pair, wearing each pair once a week. The soles get thinner as they are washed, but stay noticeably padded for a year (52 washings. ) The socks are about 12 inches tall so they work well with military boots.

They are a little low for some cowboy boots. I have had good luck with every set I have bought, and the price is very good.

Most comfortable and lightweight footwear I had. I recomend it highly.

I bought these socks, looking for a comfortable, breathable foot experience. The socks are indeed breathable, but the weave is far from comfortable. The weight may be too thin, and each thread is discernible underfoot.

And, after wearing the socks about 5 times this past summer, the heels started to fray, and now I have holes in each of the heels. I’ve always liked ragg socks, but the quality of these leaves a lot to be desired.

These are nice, comfortable winter socks. But they are insanely tall! They reach so high on the leg that they’re practically knee socks. This is not what I expected, but there is no indication of this in the description, nor in the images.

I expected something like a regular ragg wool sock, which covers up to above the ankle but not way up the calf.

I have size 12 feet and the LARGE size of these socks are truly LARGE. Very comfortable socks with plenty of elastic to hold them up. I’d almost describe them as “over-the-calf” in length. Socks of this quality and size are very difficult to find.

I bought seven pairs on the Land’s End Christmas sale while I could!.

Bought these for my veteran son in law that has worn for many years. He says they’re great. My only problem was getting them shipped. I finally called and left a message after a couple weeks and viola they shipped! Probably pandemic related so I’ll give them a pass on the shipping delay.

The title says it. I’ve been wearing these socks for years. They are super comfortable and wear very well. They’re not heavy, but are fairly warm. I wear these from early bow season where temperatures are warm through the mid-season with uninsulated boots.

Right around the 40 degree mark is where I either need a heavier sock or have to go to insulated boots. I challenge anyone to find 4 pairs of wool socks of this quality at a better price.
