19 Best Soccer Backpack With Ball Holder (2023 Updated)

We really like this! The design is great for the practicality of a player in mind. Ball, water bottle, cleats or slides, shin guards, sunscreen, bug spray and just about anything else will find a place.

Lots of pockets and zippers. almost too many but not a knock on the product. It’s a full sized pack. ie. teenager – adult. It’s alittle big on my 9 year old but he’ll grow into it. If I could have one design element altered or added, I would ask that material on the bottom and the material that cushions the back, be made of a heavier/denser foam.

Great product though and the price is spot on.

I recently purchased this bag because I have a ton of soccer gear and it looked spacious. The bottom ball compartment will just barely fit a fully pumped size 5 Soccer ball. It takes some maneuvering to get the zipper closed.

The straps/clips on both sides of the bag get in the way when trying to unzip/zip the main compartments. The zippers are poor quality and don’t operate smoothly. I also didn’t like the way the pockets were arranged.

This bag is meant for a student, not an adult soccer player. One of the straps to adjust how loose/tight the backpack fits was sewn into the side of the backpack. So one side was adjustable and the other was not.

I’m not sure if this was a manufacturer defect or not, but it was odd.

This was an amazing bag. It had the perfect size compartments to fit everything you need. It was very well designed. There is an easy access shoe compartment with ventilation on the side so that your shoes can air out.

There is a ball compartment that can easily fit a basketball or soccer ball. The door to the ball compartment had a zipper encloser and also a latch to keep the ball from falling out. The main compartment has room for a change of clothes as well as pockets for misc like phone, walet etc.

The shoulder straps are padded and feel comfortable. Overall one of the best gym bags I have ever owned.

Perfect size for my 8yr old. I was undecided about this one versus the larger one. I’m so glad I went with this one. He’s 4’2” and 54 lbs. He will be able to use it for years to come. Love the cleat compartment.

Keeps grass and mud off of everything. It has so much room for slides, sweatshirts, and extra clothes… Even when the ball and cleats are inside. I do wish the water bottle pocket was deeper. His 24oz water bottle tips out sometimes.

But that’s not enough to keep it from a 5 star review. We LOVE it!.

Overall I really enjoy this bag. The zippers run nicely since there is no overlapping fabric for them to get caught on, so it is easy to open and close the various pockets. I like the compartments and that everything I need to bring has its place.

I wish that the ball carrier was on the outside of the bag, because it takes away space from the middle of the bag. As a goalie, I need more space inside the bag for my goalie gear, but it would likely be good for a typical soccer player.

It is important to put the cleats in before putting gear in the main compartment, or it can be difficult to fit them in later. I like that there is a small pocket on the front of the bag for smaller items, and it fits my cell phone and jewelry well.

There is also a series of small pockets and pockets with zippers inside which really helps to organize, but again it gets a bit cramped if you try to put in anything too big. The water bottle side pockets hold my water bottle well and there are also some hidden pockets which I like.

The fabric is durable and dirt will brush right off, plus when I spilled my water bottle on it, it did not soak in. I absolutely love this bag. It’s so spacious. There are compartments for everything. The drink pockets on both sides are deep enough to hold two filled Blender bottles and they never fall out. The straps are adjustable and fit my 7year-old son and myself comfortably.

The compartment for a soccer ball, when filled, fits most ball sizes and doesn’t reduce the space of the remaining compartments. The shoe compartment (on the bottom) can fit two pairs of shoes (my son wears a size 2) at the moment.

I expect as his size increases, only one will fit as expected. Definitely comes in handy and ideal to have a second pair of shoes on hand for days when he wants to stay and play after games/ practice.

The only con (and this does not take any stars away from my review) is that the straps scratch a tiny bit. Overall, I’m very happy.

This bag has a major issue, it cannot handle moisture. Any wet clothes, shoes or socks you place and after 1h it will stink forever. The style is perfect for dorks. All the kids with no skills carry it around and hope the logo will make them look great on the field.

What a fake! Adidas could have done better than overprice a bloated bag with 3 stripes.

Checks all my categories such as space, design, durability, etc. The one thing that this backpack lacked for me is compartments. It has three main ones and two on the side. It has a very open space for each one but I would have liked more.

Overall a great backpack and worth the price. I would definitely recommend it.

The backpack itself is great and holds a lot of soccer stuff with various compartments. Unfortunately the strap to hang it from broke the first week using it. That’s why the lower rating. Disappointed.

It doesn’t hold as much stuff as the last backpack we used. I wish the backpack was longer and I wish the side pockets were longer for bigger cleats. I also wish the main compartment was divided into two sections so you could separate the really smelly stuff from the not so smelly stuff.

Would be perfect if my kid was younger (smaller shoes) and had less stuff (not a GK) to pack in the bag. His last bag was the perfect design and rates well in reviews, but switched to a club that could not represent that brand.

So because there is a better design, I cannot give 5 stars.

I purchased this soccer bag for my son. It fits a ball, cleats, shin guards, socks and water bottle comfortably. Not a lot of space for more than one jacket/shirt but totally worth it for this price Great buy!!!.

I bought it a few months ago and I have been amazed with the quality of the back pack. It’s got lots of space for school stuff, easy to clean and its different than any other kid’s back packs in the school! Thanks Zulily.

We had to order this with our club soccer kit. Compared to other kits, this soccer bag hasn’t lasted the season and they expect us to use it next year. Your required to buy in the summer but not use until winter at the older age group.

Then, they won’t fix defects because it’s past 60 days of purchase. Be prepared to see the stitching fall apart in non-stress areas. And, customer service won’t help.

The bag is excellent quality! I must say, I don’t care for where the ball goes (I prefer it to stay on the outside of the bag) as it allows the inside of the bag to get wet and too crowded, not leaving enough room for our spare shin guards and spare cleats.

The bag holds up really well to a lot of wear and tear, wet grass, etc! Overall, my son is really enjoying it and it looks really nice!.

I ordered the back pack, pants and jacket all at the same time, as a birthday gift for my granddaughter, so she would be like the rest of her team. Unfortunately only the back pack and pants were delivered.

I am still waiting for the jacket to show up with no word as to when I can expect it.

We just received our “required to purchase” backpack. First impressions aren’t that great. It was required to buy via the club. We don’t need another backpack. It’s thin and doesn’t seem all that great in quality.

Maybe it’s fine but the material all around is very thin. The design. Well that’s the issue. I put a ball in it, a pair of cleats into the cleat compartment. And all that’s left is space for a water bottle inside the bag and 1 on the outside in the dedicated H2O bottle sleeve.

You might squeeze a jacket inside as well. So right off the bat I’m not impressed with the size at all. It’s a small bag for sure. Perfect size for my 8 year old but not my older sons who may need room for food, snacks and clothes.

The ball and cleats just intrude inside the bag leaving seriously room for a Water bottle inside the main compartment. I did pull the cleat side pocket inside out. So the cleats dangle outside the bag.

Clearly the bag wasn’t designed for that, but it made much more room in the main compartment pushing the cleats outside of the bag. Looks weird but you gain the lost space back. I will have to add photos later when I’m not feeling lazy so you can see what I did.

Hopefully I’m wrong but first impressions are. Small bag! Thin material. Maybe good for practice to hold cleats, water bottle x2 and a ball. That’s it.

We had a soccer bag my son had been using for a few years but it wasn’t convenient. I bought this for him for Christmas hoping it would be a better fit and it is! I love that the ball pocket is Velcro and quickly/easily accessible and can be great for other purposes as well.

There is a longer side pocked that is perfect for his shin guards and compression sleeves so he’s not digging all over his bag looking for them, and then a smaller pocket for his phone. Still plenty of room inside the bag for shoes, sweatshirts, ball (if you choose to put it in the main compartment instead) etc.

Great bag that will grow with him!.

This backpack is a joke. This is supposed to be for a 5’10 kid, yet It’s the same size as my kindergartener’s backpack with very minimal pockets. It only has one interior opening. I wouldn’t have ever chosen this, but it’s part of our club package, so it was mandatory.

I’m not even sure if it is waterproof. it doesn’t seem like it is because it is fabric. Do your team a favor, don’t order these. the Adidas ones are much better!.

It’s a nice backpack, but the customization does not match what other players on her team have. Would be nice if her whole team had the same size numbers, logos, etc.

Perfect size for middle or high school. Large compartment for binder and books (with laptop sleeve), medium compartment for lunch, snd smaller compartment with various zips and pockets for keys, pens and smaller items.

Small lined phone pocket at top, too. Very well constructed and my son finds it comfortable to wear.

My only criticism is that the small zip pockets interfere with putting larger things in the larger zip pockets. So if you have items like a wallet in the small pocket, they are actually an obstruction at the opening of the larger pocket so you can’t smoothly slide larger items past the mesh bag of the small zip pocket.

Bad design for function.

I ordered two of these for my kids to haul their soccer gear. We are a month into the season and the mesh water bottle holders on each side of the bag have torn. This bag is just not durable enough for kids.

I do like the rest of the bag- the drawstrings are nice and thick, so it’s comfortable to carry, and the bag itself is roomy enough for a soccer ball, shoes, uniform, etc. But I would not purchase this bag again.

We ordered these for our varsity boys soccer team (they wanted backpacks this time), so they will need to last at least 2 years. They seem to be constructed fairly well, and have a decent lining inside for some protection.

However, the walls of the bags are rather thin, so we’ll see if they last. The low cost allowed for us to have our team crest embroidered on them as well, so if they hold together for a couple of years it will prove to be a great value! I will update this review after our first year of use.

Good quality. A bit bulky for a small child. Ball compartment is a nice size!

We purchased this for my 8 year old son and so far this backpack has been a great purchase. It looks great and is super functional (which is keeping my car less “grassy”). It has has a side zipper for damp cleats or clothes, a large pocket for a ball as well as a large zip up center pocket and side pockets for drinks, etc.

Worth the money. It is also a size that will grow with our son but isn’t too large for him to carry right now.

I was excited to get the bag as we were using one from a previous club. I was surprised to measure against her original bag. Much smaller, almost reminds me of a youth bag instead of adult. I cant pull stuff in and out of bag once ball is in.

Her shoes barely fit. The patch is not fabric, its iron on. As a goalie, all her gear does not fit. She needs her pants and gloves, however you must constantly take out ball to get into back. There are less areas to store stuff.

I do like this backpack. I can fit a change of clothes, a oversize towel, a hair towel, and a hand towel, as well as a large toiletry bag, and my running shoes. However, the sole reason I picked this bag was for the shoe compartment.

You have to kind of stick your hand inside and hoist everything inside the bag up so you can shimmy your shoes in there. I just wish the compartment had sturdier walls or a better way to organize it.

Maybe it would be better as a vertical compartment instead of horizontal on the bottom? Regardless, it has good space otherwise and is comfy to wear at least to and from the Y.

We bought the national soccer bag for our 11 year old. I was impressed with how sturdy the bag is, and the ball pocket tucks the ball on top of the main compartment, so the ball isn’t hanging off the back, giving a slimmer profile.

Like all the pockets, and the added laptop padding, which we were not expecting. This is a great bag for school and/or sports toting.

This backpack is just what we were looking for. My daughter has cross country and soccer practices back to back after school. She needs to carry extra clothes, soccer cleats, shin guards, and her ball with her.

We got this backpack to replace her normal backpack during the season so she won’t have an addition bag with her. She’s in 5th grade and only takes a folder back and forth every day, so we opted for the youth backpack rather than the adult one that’s bigger.

The pink was a vibrant pink and a nice color, but my daughter thought it was too much, so we returned and bought the black instead. Note that the ball section will take up room in the large section of the backpack, so if you have a LOT of school work to carry, the larger one would be a better fit.

For us, this works perfectly. We haven’t used it long term, so we’ll update durability after the season.

I got 2 of these for my kids in Jr High and High School, they have to have mesh see thru bookbags if they want to carry them around all day. I have gotten these before in different colors and they are the only ones I have found that last all year if not multiple years.

They have enough pockets and sections to organize their bags. They are comfy enough to wear for long periods of time. Nothing but great things to say about this bag. And with the Nike brand they are not going to be picked on for having an off-brand cheap bag.

Kids are ruthless nowadays. But this is one bag my kids keep wanting to use year after year.

Very strong mesh & so far it has held up to a 9yr old boy. Also it has more than one compartment, which is good for books, notebooks, library books etc. & compartments are large too. On the outside pocket it is large also , which is able to hold a tall heavy insluated water bottle without leaning over or tipping out.

This bag is larger than a normal backpack which is great but might be too big for a child in kindergarten. I chose the blue because that’s Grandson’s favorite color & because it will hide dirt better.

This bag has been dragged on bus, thrown down on playground & used by a 9yr old. & so far it has been the best backpack we ever bought. I highly recommend this backpack for the quality, strength, & large compartments & value.

Absolutely amazing, it has so many pockets that I will need as a student. My laptop and text books can be safe because of the padding inside the bag. I have a pocket that has waterproofing, so I can put my food and anything cold without worrying about my books getting ruined or damaged.

Would recommend it to anyone looking for a great backpack.

I already own a phenomenal Kari backpack but I needed something smaller for the plane. The yellow is so sunny and so very 60s retro. My favorite color! It’s a very pretty backpack, and I even forgive the fact that there’s only two inner pockets: one incredibly teeny slip and a small zippered pocket inside one compartment.

Nothing at all in the back compartment. Okay, still a nice backpack. The dealbreaker for me are those horrible straps. The base of the straps at the bottom of the back are inset at an angle that only makes sense on a larger backpack.

In a backpack this small it only works if the person’s back is the width of a child’s. The angle of the straps dig into the center of your back You would have to hitch the backpack up near the base of your neck which only works if you’re slender.

Otherwise the straps will not lay flat against your back. Very uncomfortable.

The size is just on the smaller side, the color is beautiful, I bought the blk front pouch with chocolate color. The backpack has 3 separate zippers and compartments. The first one is the smaller pouch in the front for easy access to keys, lipstick and small mirror.

The middle compartment has two zippers that can be opened from side to side or can meet in the middle, inside it has a deep compartment, on one side it has 2 slips for easy access to a cell phone and the other side it has a zipper pocket to store your credit cards and ID.

The last compartment is also deep it also has a zippers that opens and closes on one side only. The bag is adjustable for bigger or smaller frames people. It’s of good quality. The bought the blk with chocolate color.

It doesn’t include a dust bag.

Son loves this bag for sports. He plays soccer football basketball and runs. Holds all his gear and the extra bag is an added bonus for all his dirty stuff and cleats when filled with mud. Would definitely recommend!.

This backpack is perfect to hold all our soccer gear and then some! It seems super durable and I’m pleased that it is black, which will hide all the dirt my soccer player will drag it through!

Ordered the green/teal one. It is a lot darker than what is pictured but the quality is good and is big enough for me to take to campus.

I bought this for my son’s soccer pratice. It’s roomie and fits the ball, cleats, water bottle and a chnage of clothes comfortably. Love how it has separate compartments for each item so the dirty ball doesn’t go in with the rest of his stuff! Would def buy this bag again.
