20 Best Soap For Skin Infections (2023 Updated)

I was diagnosed with perioral dermatitis this year and working with a dermatologist to get it under control. I had to stop all of my skincare routine and just do the basics. I read about this product in a blog from another woman who has tried literally everything and decided to give it a go.

It definitely is working magically to get it under control. I’ve been using this to wash my face along with The Ordinary 100% Plant Derived Squalane, doxycycline, metrodonidazole, and also adding a zinc supplement.

If you suffer from #perioraldermatitus like myself I highly recommended trying out this product (and/or the combo mentioned above). It’s really made a huge difference and my skin has never looked better.

I really recommend this product if you have acne. This helped my body acne SO MUCH. You have to give it time but you will see a dramatic difference. Yes it is a little pricey considering its pretty small but its definitely worth it for me.

It also smells so good like oats and it has no fragrance which I love. Will definitely keep buying when I run out.

My dermatologist advised me to try Cetaphil’s cleansing bar soap as he had many clients who told him they found the liquid products still felt harsh on their skin. Since making the change myself, I have to agree, the bar soap is super gentle for cleansing my face with but also gentle on my hands.

My hands flare up often with rashes and hives when lathering up products to use on my face, but I don’t have a problem with using the bar soap. Excellent price, great quality – super happy!.

I have been a user of the liquid Cetaphil for many years. I like it so well that when I needed to buy more bar soap I decided to give Cetaphil bar soap a try. I am really glad I did. This soap cleans my face without drying just like the liquid and added bonus my hands are getting less dried out as well.

At first I thought the smell was overwhelming and was surprised since it is supposed to be for sensisitve skin. However the more I smelled it the more addicted to the smell I got. I now love it and it makes my bathroom smell so good as well.

Only downside is it is a bit pricey for bar soap but I would still buy it again. It is a yes to recommending!.

This product seems to be helpful in alleviating itchy skin problems! If used more often (perhaps daily or every other day) better results could be achieved! Some relief has been obtained even using only occasionally! I think this is a very good product!.

I’ve been dealing with hormonal acne plus since COVID-19 (I’m working as Frontliners) mask is not helping my sensitive face. I was searching for salicylic product and give this soap a try. I add this soap in my daily face wash routine.

Defense soap definitely clears up ringworm and other fungal rashes with regular use. It worked for me. I now use it as my regular bath soap to be sure my rash does not return. The key is leaving the lather on your skin for two or three minutes before rinsing.

Soap works and has reduced and almost stopped breakouts on my chest, back,and arms. I’m about 3 weeks in and saw the difference within 1 week of first trying it. Only downside is that it leave a scum like feel after using even if I lather, rinse, and repeat.

Leave it on your face for 10 min or until hardened and then rinse with cold water. The ONLY issue that I have with this product is that it makes my face dry after using it for a while. To fix that, I just apply lotion to my face and take a break from it for a few days.

Other than that, this product has been a life saver!!!.

I like the way the bar cleans my face. My face feels softer and cleaner following use. The fragrance is ok but certainly not like I remember it being years ago when I started using it. The size is a great value for the money paid.

The bar came in the time stated and was packaged securely. I would recommend it if you are looking for a basic face cleanser that is gentle for the face, cleans very well, doesn’t dry the skin, leaves the skin with a soft glow and is priced right.

i always use medicated soap instead of shower gels and this is an excellent product from a well known brand. my skin feels clean and it protects you from germs. highly recommended.

Have been using this product to control athlete foot for years. First, the Tea Tree Ultimates almost eradicates fungi. In the shower, it washes away surface fungi. After drying feet, I massage them with foot cream.

Second, I continue using the Tea Tree Ultimates to keep fungi off feet every day. So far, athlete foot doe not come back!.

Made an account just to says this stuff WORKS. I had an itchy patch on the back crease of my knee that I assumed was a poison ivy rash for a few days as I had been around the plant the day before the patch showed up.

When it began to get larger and more bumps showed up on the edges. I realized it was something else. By the time I got into my DR. it was going up my thigh and down my calf at an alarming rate. I was ready to pull my hair out, it itched to badly.

Benadryl didn’t work, various creams failed too. I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t leave it alone as hard as I tried not to scratch. My dr. gave me a through look over, no other spots or rashes but determined it was fungal.

She thinks I had an abrasion or cut from shaving and that opened the door for the fungus. Luckily, I’ve never had athletes foot or a yeast infection and was stunned at how awful the itching was. I told my husband I feel really badly for people who get it on their grion/private areas! I was given 3 days of anti fungal antibiotics and told it would be better in a few days.

Meanwhile, I looked around for something to help with itching. My huband picked this up for me and I can’t tell you how much it helped. It worked immediately, in the shower I felt the relief as soon as I rinsed.

It didn’t eliminate the itching entirely but I’d estimate 80%, once I was dry I treated the area with lotrimin and was able to sleep pretty soundly for the first time in a week. You dont need alot, it lathers lightly and has a slight “medicinal” smell but pretty mild.

I shut the water off, let it sit for a minute then rinsed. You feel a slight menthal tingle to your skin but it’s very minor and I did find it cooling. I can’t thank Walmart enough for stocking this, only place my husband could find it after I read about it online.

He scoffed at the price a little, paid $15, but I would have paid anything to get some releif and this is alot more affordable than most of the creams that are $10-12 for a tiny tube. This works, more than worth it!.

I had a skin infection which was not responding to the Drs prescriptions. Knowing how good neem oil is when I saw the soap I thought give it a go. I no longer have a problem and my skin is now healthy and like silk.

I bought this because anti bac hand wash wasn’t available anywhere. So googled anti bac soap and came up with neem soap as it has anti bacterial, anti fungal, anti viral and anti other stuff but they were the main elements that mattered to me.

I have sensitive skin and eczema, and tried this soap to see if it would improve my occasional dry patches or inflammation from scented products. It didn’t do anything to improve my skin, but it also didn’t bother it at all, which was nice.

This is a nice sturdy bar (it probably lasted me about 3 months) and the soap itself is silky when it goes on. I really like it and think it’s pretty worth the high cost.

I think it is a bit concerning that people are using this because they’re worried about illness going around. First of all, it won’t help you not get sick anymore than regular body wash. Reminds me of people who get antibiotics when they don’t need it and cause drug resistant bacteria.

I digress. I have a skin disease called HS. It causes me to get these open sores all over my body, they get infected easily, are painful and frankly, they can smell. I typically use hibiclense along with African black soap and a ton of Epsom salts.

All of that barely keeps HS at bay and not very exciting, so I was curious when I saw this. It has been 2 weeks and my sores are healing faster, my skin isn’t dried out at all and the smell is WONDERFUL.

I hope this never gets discontinued, this is something that is HS sufferers need in our daily lives. It helps so so much.

Great invention — moisturizing soap that’s antibacterial. Has a pretty floral smell that is NOT overpowering. High-quality soap; you don’t need much for lather. Doesn’t dry your skin, even though it’s antibacterial.

This product in liquid soap and bar soap has the same features and smell. I had actually written to Dove asking them to come out with an antibacterial moisturizing soap in 2020, thinking it would be a great invention in the Pandemic.

So, when I saw this come out last year, I immediately started using it. I use it all day, and am very happy with it.

As someone who struggled with tinea versicolor for more that a decade, I accidentally discovered this product to be effective prevention of outbreaks. I bought this product two years ago, because I got into running and wearing natural deodorant.

This is a good soap. I have not used this one yet but l have been using the black one , same as this because it’s written antibacterial as well. It’s very good. With my sensitive skin l have been using this soap daily and l never experienced that pulling or tightness that l experience with other bar soaps.

My skin feels very Squeak clean and fresh after cleansing, and l don’t see too much residue on the skin. Set back is the black soap tints wash cloths now l am happy l found the white antibacterial one, just a replica of the black soap.

I have very sensitive skin which is prone to skin allergies. This soap helps tremendously. I honestly think it’s medicated that’s how wonderful it works on my skin. Will order more in the future
