20 Best Soap For Lichen Sclerosus (2023 Updated)

I bought a three pack of this soap 6 months ago. I purchased it for a painful folliculitis break out I had in my face. It worked very well to cure the folliculitis and get my skin back to normal. My folliculitis hasn’t returned and I’ve continued to use the soap because it has also helped my acne.

I’ve had painful acne since I was a teen and sulphur soap has done wonders to help my break outs and heal my scars. Both of my kids are just starting their own teen break outs and I have had them both start using the soap, to my amazement it worked wonders for them too.

We also deal with scabies from time to time from going to the pool and it cures that skin issue as well very fast compared to other soaps. My family also has very dry sensitive skin it has never caused us any irritation.

I always plan on keeping it around:).

My husband has been struggling with a psoriasis-type skin condition for years, and with it, countless ineffective topical products. A friend recommended this soap, and a couple of weeks ago, my husband began using it.

It is incredible how quickly it has worked for him! All of the itchy patches he has had for years have started to dry up, and the discoloration has faded. This soap does have an underlying sulphuric smell, but it works, so we don’t mind!.

Amazing products. I was flipping a house and got mites and super lice. for a year and a half! Nothing worked. The sulfur soap kills them instantly. on the surface. the underlying mites are still under the skin but I have so much relief.

The subsurface mites need a different RX.

perioral dermatitis. only soap that helps sooth the break outs. and only soap i have ever used that makes my face feel clean without drying it too much. i always moisturize with grapeseed oil after. has been great for acne on my chest, back, and rear.

this is all ive used all year, except when i run out, dont order in time, and my skin immediatly gets worse again.

This soap is great for oily skin. The lather lasts a good minute for a face wash and it rinses off well. I have really oily skin and I know sulfur works well for this issue. I’m not sure about the salicylic acid though.

It has never worked for me before, so the soap could actually work well without it. After I use it, my skin feels smooth. It also feels tight which means something in the soap is actually working.

My teenage son has hidratinitus. He is on a biologic, but needs to clean better. We were told to use hibiclens, but it’s a liquid that doesn’t dud and he finds it difficult to use daily. This soap is great, it’s drying which is what I want.

Not overly drying, but my family does have oily skin. I noticed he doesn’t have that smell anymore and his outbreaks are very minimal now and are clearing. I have cystic acne and it works at keeping it in check.

I also noticed my husband doesn’t have bacne anymore. The soap does not have a strong sulfur smell like the others. It lasts about 5 days. We keep it in the shower, are a family of 4 and shower at least twice a day.

I’m sure if I kept it outside the shower, it would last longer.

I absolutely LOVE this soap! The smell is sensual, almost masculine, but not so much that a woman can’t use it. It’s really a lovely soap. Each time I order, I buy at least two. I don’t want to run out.

All of the Kala soaps are great, but I am absolutely in love with this scent, it fills up your bathroom in the most wonderful, calming, way. It doesn’t last quite as long as I’d like, but that’s probably because of how much I use it 🙂 You will not regret getting this.

This is great soap. Nice earthy smell, lathers up well and moisturizes. A great product. This is the second time I have purchased it.

It smells amazing and leaves my skin pretty soft. The size is perfect for the price. I feel like it can last for many days. Everytime I use it my skin feels so soft and hidrated. I was really surprised by the fact that you can use it to wash your face.

I have sensitive skin and I’ve been loving this soap. The package looks and feels amazing, but one thing I would change about it is that the soaps were completely covered, because of the whole virus thing.

I purchased all of my Right to Shower products from Walmart and had them delivered straight to my door. I honestly had never heard of this brand prior to this campaign but it is definitely on my shopping list moving forward! The scents are incredible and unique and everything suds up sooo well.

I have had poison ivy every summer, all my life. Not anymore! I use this soap as my daily cleanser during the outdoor season and am almost poison ivy free. Even when I get it, it’s just a few spots that don’t spread.

It’s the best thing I’ve ever tried. If I miss a day or two and develop poison ivy, this soap minimizes the damage – not completely, but makes it much more bearable. I haven’t f.

I really like the soap, it has helped with clearing the rashes on my kid skin and like the smell. However, I wish it is bigger in size than it is now.

I first discovered the rum body wash in Lyric hotel Manhattan, NYC and loved the scent since then. Tried to research where they get the product and found that its an independent company that nakes amazing products.

I bought this because I saw that my hubby body acne problem. Green tea is really great for acne treatment. I love this soap because it handled that problem for my hubby. He’s ok with the smell but for me it little bit smell like hospital soaps (which maybe great).

It does leave you with that clean feeling on your skin. It does make my normal skin slightly dry. It would be great for those who has oily skin and absolutely great for guys who worked in dusty oily greasy area the soap will clean them good.

I give 4 stars just because the smell. Else than that I would really recommend this soap.

Love this hand soap. I think I found it in Marshalls on one of my shopping sprees. I liked it so much I went back and purchased the almond Castile soap. It’s thick and creamy and a little goes a long way.

I have one in the kitchen and in the bathroom. I would definitely purchase this again.

I love the creamy lather this soap makes. The scent is great for both my husband and I which is in itself an amazing thing. It truly wakes my face up in the morning. I love the moisturizing this product does.

These soaps are wonderful. The fragrac is all natural and uplifting. I keep one in in the shower caddy and after a few weeks the french milled soap hasn’t melted away. Handmade soaps not french milled would’ve been long gone! These are just what I like, so soon I’m ordering more.

I love this soap! It smells great, lasts long, and is free from anything harsh. My skin doesn’t feel dried out after using it. It lathers well enough to create suds to shave. It doesnt soak up a bunch of moisture like some bar soaps do, so it doesn’t turn to mush after a few uses.

I absolutely love this and will keep using it. I’ve also tried their other scents, but this one is our favorite.

Wonderful, safe ingredients and a fragrance that does not overwhelm! Some soaps I’ve had to store in another room because the scent was overpowering. Dr. Wood’s lavender soap must be more natural because it smells lovely.

Hey yall, I’ve been using Dr Brooners products for 9 years. I haven’t had any issues with rashes, BUT I will say that the peppermint can be VERY invigorating, especially in the nether regions. I work in the field doing habitat restoration in Seattle.

It’s not easy and we get hot, dirty and sometimes, head-to-toe mud during planting season. My hands and body are constantly getting cut up, poked and abused. Although I make my own balms and chapstick, I use Dr Bronners to get myself clean and smelling nice.

Oh, and I am in love their sugar soaps. Not all palm oil is created equal. Please do your own research before you vote with your $. The fact is, “Palm oil can be produced sustainably – but a lot of it isn’t.

” Yes, we should be outspoken about this topic. Yes, we should question those who use this ingredient. Dr Bronners has historically been a company that has high values and has used their platform to speak about subjects such as sustainability in agriculture.

I bought this AGES ago when I got distracted during a late night CVS run. But thank god I did! I just got back from a trip and realized I have no body sponge (so I couldn’t use liquid body wash), shampoo, or face wash.

At 1am, it was not the time to run to the store, but I really needed to wash off the long drive before I could climb into bed. I found this soap in my bathroom and breathed a huge sigh of relief- it’s EVERYTHING I needed to shower.

Also, the peppermint smelled AMAZING. I’m always reluctant to use any soap on my face that isn’t specifically face wash (I have sensitive skin, and hate the feeling of it not being truly clean) but this worked perfectly as a face wash, which was super surprising! One thing tho, this soap stings if you get it in your eye, probably because of the peppermint.

It also stings if you don’t immediately rinse it off of your private bits. So you gotta rinse fast! Overall, I love this stuff, and will be looking in to buying other scents!.

this is my first experience with Castile soap. originally I bought it for my dog. but reading about Castile soap I found out it’s very good for all parts of the human body including hair. I really am so excited because I have been washing my hair with this soap and it is great better than any shampoo I have ever used.

this soap lathers up like you won’t believe. I recently got a perm and was having trouble with my hair after washing it with my regular shampoo. so I decided to use a Castile soap again OMG am I happy that I did my hair came out silky and the perm curls were so nice I don’t think I will ever go back to using shampoo.

my only thing is that I wanted to try the almond scent but it’s twice the price I don’t understand why this is but I can deal with the peppermint sent.

Please, please, please, consider increasing the different scents in your bar soaps! You have all these wonderful body washes, but you are not expanding your scents in the bar soap area! It is so frustrating for some of us soap users, to see all the wonderful new products in the body wash department, but the same old scents of bar soap over and over.

At least if you bring out a new body wash scent, could you not match a bar soap to it? Your body washes are awesome, however I would rather have bar soap in my shower as well. I use it on a 3M Buff Puff for my face and neck.

Please consider the fact that a lot of us like bar soap, and even if you were to just add a different scent quarterly, and then not offer it the next quarter, we would have some other scents to look forward to.

And as long as we could buy it singly and not in a bundle, or a gift set, that would be so terrific! So please, please consider it in the near future. I am a loyal fan and customer of all your products.

We tried 2 scents of the bar soap. The coconut vanilla, which has a good level of scent but leaves a very weird, almost oily coating on skin. And the eucalyptus mint, which feels better on the skin, but the scent is non-existent and it’s strips every lick of moisture out of your skin.

If you have eczema, this is not the soap for you. well, at least not for me. However, that being said, it did not directly irritate our eczema, but stripping moisture will not help it in the long run.

Also, we have been using the deodorant for 8- years, and the last 2 containers left severe oil residue build up on our clothes, which it has never done before. Still smells and works great otherwise, but that needs to be addressed.

I have extremely sensitive skin. Have been through product after product over the years looking for the right bar soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, etc. Came across Native bar soap a few years back and it is indeed the perfect soap.

Then a year or so back my local Walmart was no longer carrying it and Native’s website no longer had the soap. Tried other soaps with no success. Devastated. The liquid Native did not work for me. Had to go to my dermatologist for anti-itching cream.

Desperate, started buying what was left of Native bar soap on Ebay at a premium price. Then, Thank God, Native is back in production and selling on their website. Assume COVID stopped production? Now I am a hoarder of the soap but pray Native does not stop production of it again.

I have a very sensitive nose, but I do enjoy soap with a bit of scent now and then. This one was too perfumy for me – like the counter in the department store strength. It made my bathroom smell like the soap (in humid weather.

) So, I ditched it. The scent doesn’t linger on your skin much, but the bar itself is pretty strong. So some people will love this, but if you are someone who uses a lot of naturally scented products and nonscented ones — this soap is really strong.

You can’t beat Dr. Bronner’s soaps. I have used them for a very long time. I usually prefer the liquid form, but to save a bit I bought the bar versions. A little goes a long way; the scent is great and really serves a purpose, so buy the scent(s) you want for different uses.

Eucalyptus is good for a slight warming, head and lung clearing, refreshing vibe. Peppermint is cooling to your skin. Rose is a great mood enhancer and makes you feel pretty. Lavender is relaxing and peace-inducing.

Tea Tree Oil feels a bit medicinal and healing. Just great stuff, gets you very clean. Eco-responsible products and company, safe and multi-purpose products.

I have used Dr. Bronner’s products since I was a teenager, and I have found them to be high-quality, and consistent in that quality. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to commit to a full $18 bottle (lasts 4-6 months) of the liquid eucalyptus soap, although I have LOVED the peppermint and lavender liquid soaps in the past.

So I got the bar. It’s LOVELY. It’s large, smooth, lathers well, rinses well. The only thing is that Dr. Bronner’s soaps are all, every one of them, drying. So you’ll need to moisturize more. But eucalyptus is known to keep bugs away, and I’ve not been bothered by a single mosquito or other bug for the two weeks I’ve been using it.

The eucalyptus scent is mild, but bugs can sense these compounds at a lower level than humans, so it has worked out great.

I have been using the sea moss soap for a few weeks now and on more than one occasion my husband has commented on how good and clear my skin looks. He didn’t know I was using this soap so it was a genuine observation.

I didn’t notice anything different before he said something but after his 2nd or 3rd comment about my skin, I believe I began seeing it too. Not sure if I’d notice on my own without him but since he sees a difference I will continue using the soap: Hopefully with continued use I’ll see the difference on my own.

So I tried using this on my face, and not sure if I noticed a difference than me using the black soap bar which works great on my skin. BUT I have a lot of discoloration on my legs and used this soap on my legs and not even two days I’ve noticed a huge difference in the discoloration.

It evened out my skin tone and actually I used this on my entire body and it leaves my skin feeling super soft! I’ve always been skeptical of my legs, but this soap is changing the game! I love it ! 5 stars !.

So this soap is actually really good smelled nice love the fact that it has lavender. It works well for drying out acne. I’d recommend! 10/10. If you have sensitive skin or dry skin definitely follow up with some kind of moisturizer!.
