👟 FITVILLE WALKING SHOES REVIEW 👟 I was asked to give an honest review by Fitville (an international company using cutting edge science to create their shoes). I am not in the business of giving a good review in exchange for free gifts-so this is a honest as it gets! 👟 As I had not heard of Fitville I was slightly sceptical (were they connected to Farmville?😅) but my scepticism was proven to be unfounded! 👟 I have suffered some foot issues over the years – a bunion removal operation, plantar fasciitis and achilles tendon issues.

👟 Although I have a fairly small bone frame my feet however are quite wide. I’ve often had to go to the men’s section to find trainers as women’s sizing can be too narrow in the toe area for me. In other words these shoes are designed with the wider foot in mind wide2E/ extra wide4E.

👟 So when Fitville asked me if I was interested in trying their shoes I seized the offer with two feet😁and can I say I have not been disappointed! 👟 When I put on these Rebound Core (woman’s) in sandy grey – (they do a Gent’s range also) I actually did not take them off for the entire day! It was as if I had worn them for months! There was no breaking in period at all.

I also loved the rubberised non slip soles especially when walking out in the Scottish rain. 👟 These shoes are equipped with wide toe boxes, patented PropelCoreTM EVA soles, and shock-absorbing pads, I literally felt I was walking on air with the cushioned inserts provided.

They also felt very light to wear. 👟 Most of all I love how stylish they are! I wondered would they have the look of shoes designed for the ermm. elderly. but not at all! In fact I had to prevent my daughter (24 yrs) @lookswithlaura from acquiring them for herself! 😂 👟 Can’t wait for summer walks here in the Highlands of Scotland with these stylish and comfortable shoes.

I have Multiple Sclerosis which means I have very strange feet that I can not wear most shoes. I can no longer walk on sandy beaches as too painful and my balance is not good either so a supportive shoe is vital.

3 years ago I broke my leg then Covid so my movement was greatly inhibited. I have only found one brand of trainers I can wear and have lived in them for over a year now. I had looked at Fitville and thought it might be worth a try and finally I have.

I bought them about a month ago and have slowly started using them, day at a time for a few hours to get my over sensitive feet used to them. I wore them for a couple of days at a time a few times and now for the last 3 days continuously! I walked over a patch of land, grassed but uneven today that I haven’t done for 3 years with our dog.

A bouncy Labrador pointer rescue. I find I can drive much better in them and can feel the soles of my feet too and wiggle and move my feet/toes. I actually forgot to take my cane and only realised when I thought something is missing! I went without it even when I realised.

Not for too long but trainers have a wide supportive sole which I realised are easier to stand with that extra support. So if this is how a person with a real physical challenge can be made to feel, just try them.

I am now going to try the trainers you don’t have to bend to do up laces and are quite cute too. Nice colours. and use them as supportive slippers. I am so glad I took the plunge and bought them. Dark blue rebound core ladies.

I bought ladies 6 and they are true to size. Don’t be tempted to size down because wider. I have been 6 all my life, 39 European. And the extra width gives more movement to my feet. I have a smaller foot by half a size but bought to fit the larger foot.

I hope this review may help others with weird feet, neuropathy etc. Those with fabulous normal feet, these will be just amazing! Thank you for reading, i hope this helps. To be able to walk again on land I have not been able to for 3 years gives such hope and pleasure.

I got these because of awful problems with my feet, particularly fasciitis and achilles problems, and I have to walk quite a bit. I needed a comfortable fit. These come in 2 sizes of width, the WIDE was perfect for me rather than EXTRA WIDE.

I was able to judge the correct size by measuring my foot length and using the fitting guide. Perfect. The support they give is very good even though they are very light weight shoes. They have what they call an anti-pronation ring which helps stop my foot from rolling inwards as I walk.

I knocked off a star though because they are not waterproof. For £75 I’d have expected a waterproof membrane to be built in. Having said that, I would buy again.

I have a complex left ankle problem & have 2 operations with the NHS that have tried to put it right. Every shoe I have tried was uncomfortable, I bought a pair of size 13 extra wide 4E Fitville rebound black shoes, found these to be most comfortable for my hammer toe, bunion & flat feet problems, so have bought 2 more pairs of the high top rebound size 13 , 4 E extra wide shoes also.

My left ankle is due another operation on it in October 2022 which I am having done privately at the Nuffield in Glasgow. with a top foot & ankle surgeon. In the mean time the Fitville rebound shoes with the wide toe box have been a great help.

Pity shoe makers in the UK are not making a product like these?.

These were the first pair of shoes that provided width without having to go up a size. The high top allowed me to fit in my orthotics which I wear due to a fixed ankle joint caused by surgery. My feet are loving these shoes as is my posture.

I would buy another waterproof pair of walking shoes but they only come in 2E. The four stars are not five because I had to wait over three weeks for them to be delivered.

We initially ordered our Fitville trainers pre-Xmas…. they duly arrived but come up very big, so we asked to return and replace. The return charge was excessive and they did not have the same trainer in stock in a smaller size….

I tried a different colour but same stock issue. I finally received this alternative pair a few weeks ago, which are great but I am still fuming about the return delivery charge…. to Germany or alternatively pay an additional £30 and keep the wrong pair !.

I have extremely high arches other issues with my feet. When i found the ProGrid Integrity ST2, I was so excited to finally find shoes that made walking, which is the main part of my job, less painful.

Imagine my dismay when I went to purchase them again and I couldn’t find them anywhere. I came to the Saucony site to find a replacement and I had high hopes for the Integrity Walker 3. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed when I tried them on.

The ProGrid cradled my feet and arches, providing comfort and cushion. The Integrity Walker is flat and has no arch support. The removable insole makes my foot to high in the shoe, and I feel like the back of the shoe is slipping off.

The insole provides some cushion, but that doesn’t help the lack of support. The Integrity Walker seems to run bigger than the ProGrid as well. I usually buy a 9, because I know my feet will be swollen by the end of the day.

The ProGrid never felt too large or too tight by the end of the day. When I tried on the Integrity Walker there is an extremely roomy toe box, and more than a thumb’s length measurement from my big toe to the edge.

I will have to keep these just because I’m desperate for new work shoes, but I will not be purchasing these shoes again.

I initially ordered the wrong fitting (E). Big thanks to helpful staff at Athlete’s Foot for negotiating an exchange. Very relieved to find that the D size fits perfectly. 2 suggestions that would help with online purchases: a simple width sizing table on the website (appreciating this might need to come from the manufacturer Saucony in this instance).

I knew I took a “wide” fitting but didn’t know what D &E meant exactly. Add an “Other” delivery option for those of us who can’t use the letterbox or front door options. This is a standard inclusion and would have saved us having to trek into a P.

I am dealing with bunions and have had a very hard time finding something that fits comfortably and doesn’t look too orthopedic. I have bought and returned about 15 pairs from various companies in different styles and different price points.

No lie. In a last ditch effort, I found these. They give me comfort and support in all of the right places. While the bunions are still an issue, I can now be out in the world with a pretty great shoe and walking anywhere all day is no problem.

No sizing up or down. My 8. 5m size was spot on and I didn’t break the bank. Bad feet or not, give these a try. You won’t be disappointed. I am also told that this style of shoe is on trend this year :).

I’ve been running exclusively in zero-drop shoes for several years. I cut my zero-drop teeth on a pair of Altra Escalante 1. 5s and was instantly a fan of the responsiveness and cushion level of Altra’s EGO foam.

Between then and now, I’ve also been running in Altra’s Kayentas, which raised the bar for me for what to expect out of a shoe. Sadly, the Kayenta is discontinued (*sigh*), and my current pair is winding down, so I’ve been on the hunt for a replacement, ideally still zero-drop.

I’ve heard good things about the Rivera, so I decided to start with it. Right out of the box, the fit was super familiar when compared to my venerable old Escalante 1. 5s. I know there have been some recent complaints from people used to the ultra-wideness of old-school Altras who felt the Rivera was too narrow and somehow marked the end of an era for Altra, but I didn’t have any trouble with that at all.

The upper material is very breathable and felt great from the midfoot forward, and there was plenty of room for my toes to do their thing. Padding in the upper part of the shoe was a little bulkier than what I prefer, but nothing I couldn’t have worked with.

Unfortunately, there were a couple not-so-great things that stood out to me: 1) Heel lockdown: I don’t know if it’s the slippery material in the heel collar area, or the overly high level of padding that extends halfway down the collar, but no matter how tightly I laced the shoes (even with runner’s knots), I could not get a solid heel lockdown.

My left heel especially kept drifting up and down inside the collar, which is a recipe for chafing/blisters. 2) “Cushion”: What happened to the original EGO foam, the soft but responsive kind used in the Escalante 1.

5? This new generation of “EGO” feels much firmer, almost Escalante Racer-like. My Kayentas have several mm less stack height but are infinitely more cushioned, while significantly lighter and more responsive thanks to the Max LT foam they’re built on.

I had been excited to try a different shoe with EGO foam, but this newer version of it doesn’t do it for me. So who is this shoe good for? Well, if you’re looking for a snappy, zero-drop shoe and don’t typically have trouble getting a good heel lockdown, I’d encourage you to give the Rivera a shot.

It has a lot of the pros I’d typically associate with Altra’s shoes, and I’d still recommend it to others. It’s just not the shoe I was expecting, and I’ll be returning this pair in hopes of finding something that fits my feet and comes a little closer to what I’ve come to love about the Kayenta.

The Rivera is more of a higher mileage racer. It has a much more firm (not plush), rigid (not flexible) sole than the both my Escalante 2. 5 and my Torin 5. That firm, rigid sole with a slight toe rocker makes it more like my Escalante Racer, but with a touch more cushion.

The Rivera is great for higher cadence race pace and tempo runs. It will be my race shoe for anything over a half marathon, and might get used for an occasional half marathon. If I want more flexibility to help build foot strength, I use my Escalante 2.

5. If I want to go long slow miles where I will have much longer ground contact time, I use my Torin 5. If I want to go faster and roll with a higher cadence, I wear my Rivera. They serve their purpose in my rotation.

Current at 136 miles and the quality of construction looks to be better than many of my other Altras. Fit might be slightly more narrow than some other models, but as more of speed/race shoe, it should be slightly more snug to prevent that ankle roll from sloppy fitting shoes.

Lace up the Rivera and let that cadence roll!.

Perhaps it is due to me being a light runner, the Rivera just does not have the cushiony feel others have noted. They feel more like my time trial flats perhaps with a little more rebound. During an initial 8 mi piece I found them to be easy to maintain a steady pace; no clunkiness or side-to-side issues at all.

Light and crisp on toe-off. Landings on the forefoot were the big thing for me. I really expected a softer landing and it just isn’t there. Another thing that was bothersome on run #1 was the tread’s ability to snag very small rocks.

ugg. Hearing the annoying ‘click, click, click’ every stride for about 10 minutes hoping they’d dislodge but nope. Had to stop and remove them before they dug into the sole. QC was surprisingly off too.

I used some clear nail polish to help secure some loose threads and a small fray in the tongue. right out of the box. All in all, a decent shoe that will go fast (at the end of my initial run decided to crank it up and easily hit 5:30 pace) though using these for zone 2 runs as I train for an ultra; not so much.

Coming from a jogging in mostly neutral minimal shoes for the past few years, I believe that the Nike Free Run 2 serves as a shifting shoe to allow runners to bein using a more minimalist shoes, but I found it to be the starting point, not end point that Nike seems to promise.

After testing out the shoe I was excited with the shoe as a nice conventional shoe into barefoot running. The new Nike Free Run 2 comes with a few changes made to improve the shoe. The outside of the shoe has contrasting patterns than the previous replica making for a different style of mesh and delivering a little different overlay cover for additional shoe form.

The most apparent difference in the while jogging in the Nike Free Run 2’s opposed to the authentic model is the added room in the toe box and the enhanced upper to the tempting; it felt as if you were putting on a pair of old slippers rather than a pair of running shoes.

My first impression was that slip would be a huge problem, but within a few steps of jogging it was evident that the sock-like cuff would keep the shoe in place as long as I needed it. I have run in the shoes countless of times going up to 6 miles and tested the shoe on my longer runs that went up to 10 miles.

During my runs, I have felt very cozy and could hardly notice much of a difference compared to other conventional running shoes I have purchased. What sets this shoe apart from the other basic barefoot shoes is the amount of cushion.

It is fairly important and can feel slow compared to shoes in this grouping. The amount of cushion on it is literally more similar to shoes normally found in a “unbiased cushioned” grouping, it certainly feels like a barefoot shoe the more you run in it due to the upper and separated thread of the outside.

There can be additional weight as the cracks between the sipes tend to gather little rocks that don’t come out easily when running. Hopefully Nike can design some sort of rock guard in the time ahead for future models.

Over the last 4 years I’ve been attempting to get into running. I will have a good few months and then lose momentum for a couple months and then start back up. I usually run 1. 5-3. 2 miles each run and I do that 6 to 7 days a week getting faster and faster as my strength and endurance get better.

I really want to be able to run without the pain in my ankles or knees. Especially after gaining weight in my mid 20s due to a medication that I can’t stop taking and my sugar addiction. I’m 5’5 168 lbs and so there can be a bit more weight on the shoe than with someone who’s the perfect weight.

They can also tend to be tight on my foot width wise but my feet aren’t quite wide enough to wear shoes in a wide size. So, out of all of the Nike running shoes I’ve tried on a treadmill and on the road I really do love these.

They are near the top of my list. They don’t have a ton of airflow, but my feet don’t get so hot they are uncomfortable. The tongue is attached to the body of the shoe completely so there’s no irritation with the tongue moving or slipping downward.

Also, the shoes bend really well with the foot so I can run more freely without feeling as if there’s a stiff block on my foot. They still give a good amount of stability which is one thing I like more than the flyknit Nike shoes.

Overall these are a great running shoe that’s comfortable and easy to run in no matter the temperature.

the nike free run has been around for a while. i’d disagree with the other review about the fit. the tongue had never been disconnected and it’s aways been one cohesive piece. this is a comfortable lightweight shoe perfect for walking or running.

i do find that nikes run slightly smaller so i size up a half size. these shoes are incredibly comfortable out of the box. the first time wearing them was all day at disney. no issues and comfortable all day long.

i’m a nike free run fan for life.

I bought two pairs of these trainers and have worn both pairs over the past couple of weeks. One pair rubbed my little toes initially, while the other pair were comfortable straight off. However, one of that latter pair has now developed an annoying and embarrassing squeak.

So good shoes, generally comfortable, but will be better if I can get rid of the squeaking.

I’m old with increasingly difficult fitting issues. Bought 4E Defy because Revolution 5 13 4E were a perfect fit for my sore feet. The Defy fit was no where near that found in the Revolution 5. Length was too long and less room in toe box meant cramped toes.

Thought same exact size from differing named shoes from Nike would yield samefit. It did not so had to return the 13 4E Defy shoes.

Bought my first pair of these trainers and within a day or 2 the rim around the edges went all white and squeak of them was just awful!!! Brought them back to the shop and with a fight, I got them exchanged for another pair the same and within the week of wearing them the squeak started again!!! Totally disappointed!!!! Was always a Nike fan but this has put off from buying Nike trainers again!.

I love NB shoes for they’re comfort and wide sizes. I suffered a shattered heel about 3 yrs ago and ever since I have the hardest time with shoes. I’ve bought so many different types of sneakers and boots as well as insoles trying to find something with enough cushion and that isn’t to tight and New Balance shoes are the best I’ve found so far as sneakers goes.

So this 520 is nice and light and has lots of foam but the insole is the worst I’ve seen in any of my NB shoes. What is making this a deal breaker is the padded upper heel area has no support and ever step my heel lifts and rubs.

It’s very cushy and thick but getting my foot in the shoes and it easily collapsed and doesn’t retain its shape. If the back of the shoe was just a tiny bit taller and not so thick I think they would be perfect.

These shoes also run a half size small as my big toe on left foot touches the front of the shoe.

I have been working for a little over a month now, mind you it’s been several years since my last job. So I knew it was going to take some time for my body to get use to working again. But the pain I was getting everyday in my feet was excruciating, by far the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my feet.

I am on my feet for 7 1/2 hours. I figured my feet were hurting so bad due to me not being on them like I use to. As time went on I started to realize maybe it’s my shoes that aren’t helping much either.

I started doing my research/talking to others about what shoes are really good for being on your feet for multiple hours. I got a few brands but one brand I kept hearing over and over, New Balance. My mother in law has a bunch that she orders through Shoes 4 Crews.

One day after work I headed to DSW to buy me a pair of shoes. I tried on a few pairs just to get different feels of comfort. But these one’s we’re the ONE! The level of comfort is truly out of this world.

I felt like I had a bounce when I walked. The first day/night at work with my new shoes had me feeling like a new woman. I couldn’t wait to get home and see if my feet hurt. I have to be honest, I wasn’t too surprised when I came home and took my shoes off with NO PAIN! No pain in my feet at all!!! These are worth every dollar.

I seriously would have paid more for them. I will most definitely buy another pair when it’s needed. Highly recommend. Oh yes, one more thing, I feel like they run just a bit on the small size. I had to get a size 8.

5. Depending on the brand I usually wear a size 7. 5 some times a 7.

I was on my way to a festival and realized I forgot my sneakers! So I had to stop and buy some. I was so glad they had all black sneakers in my size but the sizes run different on New Balance. I have never bought this brand before.

I tried on my regular size 8. 5 and it was too tight, 9 was too tight as well then I realized it was because they run narrow. I was happy to see they had them in wide width. Never in my life have I had to wear ww shoes but I did in these, and still had to size up to a 9.

Overall though they were very comfortable. I was on my feet all day every day for 4 days straight and my feet felt great. The only complaint I have is the heel. You have to make sure you have these unlaced and opened a lot before you slide your foot in or the heel folds in on itself.

I noticed the broken heel back on a few of the pairs in the store too.

I had plantar fasciitis for years and never thought I would ever fast-pace walk much less jog/run. However, after losing 70 lb (and 30 more lb to lose), along with massage and personal training, I no longer have plantar fascia issues.

Also at the heavier weight, I could only find size 7 Extra wide comfortable shoes with New Balance years ago, but now that I lost some weight, I have more options of various brands now that I wear 7 wide, not Extra wide.

Nevertheless, I will stick to the NB brand. So, I’m brave enough now to start treadmill workouts, increasing my walking speed, and now that I have the NMB 840v5 I have been able to power walk and light job for a few min at a time with no pain.

I even no longer require the use of plantar fascia shoe inserts. As I increase my speed and distance, I may have to get extra cushioning for the ball of my foot, but so far so good with no complaints.

Six months ago I underwent a four-hour foot surgery to help correct the damage sustained due to having polio as a child. After healing and starting to walk again (months on a knee cart!) I soon realized that my New Balance shoes were the only ones in my closet that were comfortable enough for my “new” foot.

I no longer need to wear a brace tucked into my shoe – YEAH! – but my New Balance shoes are STILL the best shoe for me. I am gradually building back up to my pre-surgery levels of walking two miles or more each morning, and my New Balance shoes are with me every step.

Can’t thank you enough for making such a wonderful product. I do miss some of the older models I have purchased in the past but I am experimenting with new models. I have worn New Balance for years and have no intention of changing now.

Recently purchased at my local Academy and wore them for the first time yesterday. They are extremely comfortable and fit as expected. I work in the fitness industry and wore these shoes also during my workout.

I was extremely pleased with them.

These shoes are super comfortable and good for doing my workouts. They are light and do not make my feet sweat. Would definitely buy again. Always a great experience from Academy Sports.

These UnderArmour shoes are very comfortable. I find myself picking these shoes over another brand that I paid more for. I have not tried running with them but for walking I would highly recommend them.

I normally buy the Air Monarch and saw these on sale so decided to give them a try. At first sight you can see that its not as bulky as the Air Monarch, so on style alone I was happy with the new shoe.

I work in NYC and do alot of walking from Port Authority to my office 11 blocks away and these shoes proved very comfortable. Needless to say I will not be buying the Air Monarch any more. The Defy All Day is my new ‘go to’ shoe.

For a simple health worker who’s not rich, this incredible option of buying good, comfortable and affording shoes are essential. Thanks for helping the working/poor class of essential workers. Sincerely.

These are a perfect combination of the first 2 pairs I bought. These have some solid fabric (suede?) along with mesh on top to keep my feet from overheating. The first ones are solid fabric, which is great when it’s cold or rainy.

The second pair are all mesh (more like an open weave), and are good for warmer weather. So, I need all of them! The pros – a variety of colors, even in narrow widths; enough cushion for my aging feet without causing arch pain; the cost is much more reasonable than what I’ve been paying for years for the only narrow runner I could find.

Cons: the heel doesn’t fit as well as the rest, so if you wear low socks, they often get pulled down as I walk; my impression when looking at the tread is that it will allow me to slip more easily, though I’ve not had experiences to prove it.

I am so happy that I took a chance and purchased these shoes! I wanted a great pair of walking shoes, which allowed me to stand on my feet and support to my arches. These shoes does it all. I can take on San Francisco hills, run to catch a bus and walk throughout the airport without any problems.

The shoes are sturdy with thick soles. They have supported my lower back, knees and ankles. No more rolling ankle from uneven pavement. My toes are not crunched since the toe box is wide. My lower back doesn’t hurt from hard pavement and pounding.

Since my ankles and arches are supported my knees are not compensating for them. I highly recommend these shoes as I have purchased 4 pairs in three years!.

Got them for everyday wear, since I work from home now. I have an older dog who needs frequent walks. Also live in a city and do errands on foot. These are sturdy and give good support but note that I wear prescription orthotics.

Since I ordered the sneakers half a size larger to accommodate the insoles and the fit is a bit snug, they seem somewhat on the small side. They are not light. Another drawback is the new style of lacing-much harder to loosen or tighten.

Have to use a shoehorn because the top opening is a not very wide.

I was honestly a little skeptical at first when I first saw the ads for KURU. After checking out the reviews, and looking at the products and their features; I decided to give it a shot. I suffer from flat feet and the fallout of an accident that wrecked my ankle a few years ago, and it’s been a problem looking for shoes that offer both comfort and support for my feet when I am out and about.

“Worst case is that they do nothing for me and I’m out 130 dollars” I thought to myself as I clicked on the complete order link. The next day I received an email on what to expect from the moment I slip my feet into my new KURU’s, “wear them for three hours a day for up to three weeks to get the best fit”.

Two days after the email, the shoes arrived and I was ready with the information to break them in. I can honestly say from the moment I put them on and took my first steps, they were a dream. A little stiff to be sure, but wearing them for the first three hours had already started to make a positive impact on my feet.

It’s only been an increasing positive experience since then. The more I wore them, the better they custom formed and increased the comfort levels. I will only be buying my future shoes from KURU, I am just that impressed with the comfort and ease I have in my daily routines now.

I bought these shoes after visiting a few running/walking focused websites – these shoes received strong reviews. I walk daily for about an hour (typically 4+ miles). The shoes are holding up well to date – and are fairly comfy and easy to put on – but for $130 I don’t think I’m getting anything that special.

Walking down hills (not the best traction) or in the rain (the water just pours through the mesh) is a challenge that I’ve had more success overcoming with other walking/running shoes. When I have done intervals (walking and then running and then returning to walking), I feel pain and a lack of cushion while running.

Again, fairly comfortable when walking on flat surfaces. I’ll keep searching for that ultimate walking shoe – perhaps even give a different KURU shoe a try.

Bought the shoe about a month ago received it quickly took awhile to get used to it like it said but it was worth it. I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis for 2 years now and could only wear hoka with a custom insert and it would only buy me time to wear in the day for a bit before it began to hurt again.

These shoes have greatly increased the time i can spend on my feet and while not 100% effective for me just yet but the massive improvement worked well enough that I will be purchasing again. I also love how they look good and athletic and can be worn anywhere without question.

The biggest issue is they seem to get dirty very quickly probably also because of it being a lighter color since they were out of the black. I did not want to wash them in washer or dryer at risk of messing up the inserts that mold to your feet so I need a shoe cleaner alternative.

Besides that the shoe is worth a try for people looking for other issues. 25 year old male with plantar fasciitis due to flat feet and so far they are working. I am hoping a rucking military style boot can be made later on and that would help alot!.

I have always been a fan of the New Balance 990. It was a shoe that I typically saw older, affluent men wear who would not otherwise wear sneakers. Now I see why the elders choose this model. These 990v5 New Balance are so comfortable! It feels like you are walking on air.

I have worn 576 New Balance for decades. I still like them, as they are very stylish and come in cute color combinations, but if you want the king of New Balance, this is the shoe for you. They are stylish, fashionable yet (dare I say) practical.

They come in grey, black or navy and there are other variations of the grey that are released as limited editions. It is a very versatile shoe, worth the price point, IMO. I will say that you should order in your size.

They may have a little room in the toe, if you have longer, more narrow feet, as I have, but they should not be too wide or long. Enjoy!.

I have worn 990’s through years of running. The stability supports my ankles and the cushioning doesn’t cause knee pain. Until V5, that is. I knew as soon as I took my first step something was different.

I have very flat feet but, in the past, the shoe had enough support to correct the issues from this. With the V5, I felt as if the middle of my foot was flat on the ground and my heel and toe box raised.

It was so uncomfortable. I made two loops around my neighborhood and immediately took them off and put back on my 2 year-old V4’s. Gee whiz, New Balance. Is this some cost cutting measure? So disappointed.

My feet are an 8. 5B (40 standard), and I have been using New Balance shoes for at least 15 years. I use green SuperFeet due to very low arches. This model is wonderful. My feet are comfortable when I run, I can be on my feet all day, and the black ones transition well from street to gym.

I find these MUCH better than the 1540s (I changed to this model because of the second paragraph of this review), but I miss this model so much. The 990s has enough depth in the back of the shoe so that my foot does not feel like flopping out, the toe box has enough space so that I don’t feel squeezed, and the laces are long enough.

However, while the bottoms of the shoes last a long time, the top mesh is not durable enough; I keep finding a hole into where the big toe is. Would this be because of the natural materials? If this were stronger material with the same structure, and if this model were vegan (I only just realized that it’s a natural material and feel really bad about the pig material), then I would never switch models of shoes.

Please offer a vegan version of this shoe, NB, and you will have a customer for life!.

I bought these shoes about a month ago and I absolutely love them. They arrived quickly after placing my order and they look exactly like the pictures. I get so many compliments and stares because of them.

I was shocked to buy them for the price on shoebacca. I would highly recommend them!.

So, I love mostly everything about these shoes: colour, style, price and Shoebacca website. What I didn’t love, is I forgot Puma cuts their shoes a little short. I wear a 10 and I can feel my second toe rubbing on the front.

My advice—if you can, buy a half size up! Enjoy.

The black is my second pair of this style shoe and just as supportive as the first pair. I don’t wear the black pair as often as the grey pair with lime laces. The grey pair is everyday shoe and so they get more exposure going to the store, yard stuff, walking the dog etc.

The black pair I am using as a change of pace to go to dinner / look nicer. With that said the grey pair is, after a few months, just as supportive today as the first day I tried then on and the black pair is a super fit as well.

Usually when I have gotten a pair of tennis shoes (regulars from shoe store, online etc) they tend to not be supportive of my feet after about 3 mos. It is as though the shoe starts breaking down and the support is gone even though the shoe itself looks fine.

Both pair of these shoes are super supportive of me as I wear them all day long. I have bunions but only one foot was starting to bug me a bit. I was in a bad wreck with injuries a few years ago and ever since I must wear very foot supportive shoes mostly hiking boots which give me great stability and excellent support for my low beck and knees etc.

Walking on concrete was a nightmare for several years demanding excellent foot support. After all these many years of wearing hikers I though I would give OrthoFeet a try as I ran across them on line.

60 day guarantee I decided I had nothing to lose so I ordered the grey pair to see if this shoe was really all they claimed. I am so pleased with the shoes that honestly I can’t wait to put them on every day.

The other thing is the ortho inserts. With each pair of shoe I also purchased another ortho insert so I could put it into my other hikers. The ortho insert makes such a big difference for me. I also like the little heel support in there because I have an extremely narrow heel and a very wide toe.

At this point I am so very happy with these shoes especially for the hot summer time I highly recommend these. My feet have felt Incredibly good with these tennis like shoes and the shoes breath. My feet don’t get to hot.

I don’t think you could go wrong with them. I highly recommend these shoes – Coral Stretch Knit Black / Grey with Lime laces.

I honestly love these shoes. I had Puma’s and Under Armour shoes prior to these, and I felt like the way the shoe was shaped, that my foot was always pointing at an angle in the shoes. I found these online and purchased them on a whim because I thought nothing could be worse than what I was already dealing with in regards to my tennis shoes/sneakers.

I’m on my feet all day, everyday because I work in manufacturing engineering and these sneakers ROCK. All the extras they give you are just amazing. You get 2 different thicknesses of spacers in case you have feet that aren’t as thick height wise, they give you added arch support (which I use and LOVE) and they give you 2 different types of laces.

My only issues with these shoes is that I am using the laces that you push the plastic piece down on to tighten, and the plastic cap on the end of the laces that hold both ends together already came off one shoe and I can’t get it back on.

But this does not at all affect the wearability of the shoe or its functionality. They are still awesome, very comfortable and extremely sturdy. This is the first set of sneakers I have had in a really long time that actually keep my feet warm and dry.

They are not paper thin like most sneakers these days. These are STURDY shoes, but still flexible so you don’t feel like you are in boots or something. If you are debating these shoes, get a pair. You won’t be disappointed.

I have wide feet and the normal width fits great. I usually have to buy men sneakers because of this but these shoes are fabulous.

I know this is going to seem silly and I would have NEVER believed this if I wouldn’t have experienced it myself. But these shoes straight up changed my life. My feet started hurting a couple of years ago, and I was told it was plantar fasciitis.

My left foot the whole entire foot hurt, especially the top of the main bone and even my ankle. My right foot it was mostly my heel. But over the last several months it had gotten so bad that it hurt to walk and I had a limp.

I’d try to hold on to whatever I could when walking just to keep as much pressure off. I even have several different pairs of insoles made specifically for PF that I wore every day. I ordered these shoes (after researching and trying to find things to help) because of the reviews and them being made to help with plantar fasciitis.

I put them on as soon as they came in and I felt some relief. The next day I put them on when I woke up and by the end of the day I was very uncomfortable and was thinking they weren’t going to work for me but I had read that it takes up to ten days for them to contour to your feet so I continued to wear them.

Every waking minute! By the third or maybe fourth day I could walk with NO pain what’s so ever. I had energy and was/am able to stay up all day and I’m getting so much done! Looking back my quality of life was pretty much nonexistent and it’s crazy to me that it was all because my feet hurt so bad and I was in so much pain.

I literally didn’t want to do anything other than sleep because that was the only time I wasn’t in pain. And being a homeschooling momma of 4 that definitely wasn’t good. Once the pain was gone I was able to do so much more that I never really knew how much I was suffering and letting myself and duties go until then.

I ordered the slippers for wearing in the house. They don’t give me absolute relief like the shoes do but they are good for quick slipping on and off and they do take away most of the pain. But these tennis shoes are still my “go-to” and I wear them every single day.

Most of the time as soon as I wake up until I go to bed at night, but other times like on lazy staying at home days I’ll just put the slippers on. If you suffer from pain from Plantar fasciitis then do yourself a favor and GET THESE SHOES! Give it a few days of wearing them to get your feet used to them and you absolutely won’t regret it!!!.

I bought this shoe in February along with the Stride shoes, where the Stride shoes wasn’t for me this shoe was the answer to my prayers. I work in retail and I was in agonizing pain to the point that I couldn’t walk or stand on my feet for the 4 to 5 hours a day that I worked.

I literally had to quit that job and went back to my old job which was still on retail but not standing on concrete floors, my feet still hurt so I tried these shoe and oh my god what a difference from the first day I wore them to work my feet DID NOT HURT.

I literally work eight hour shifts now and my feet doesn’t hurt. The company recommended that you not wear them the whole day when starting off but I had no choice but to wear them all day, no pain at all.

It’s now August if 2022 and in July my feet started hurting again while wearing this shoe which I attributed to my foot problems, flat feet, bunions and overpronation and I could see that my shoe was wearing unevenly, so I purchased the Kuru Quantum this time, where I like the Quantum, it’s not as good has the Kinetic.

I would definitely recommend the Kuru Kinetic shoe to anyone that has severe foot problems. If there was one thing I would change on the Kuru Kinetic and other shoes it would be to put a heel tag on the back of the shoe, so it would be easier to slide into without having to unlace it so much, I found that my shoe would bend in on the heel as I tried to put it on, but I still give this shoe and overwhelming five stars.

I have several issues with my feet & unfortunately no cures. But for the first time in 3 years I can walk heel to toe like you’re supposed to. I still have pain, but it’s manageable. I do have 1 spur from plantar fasciitis, complete neuropathy in both and finally got to see the broken bone I’ve been walking on for 41 years now.

Yes that’s correct. Diehard fast pitch softball player, finished that season & played for 2 more. But for the past 3 years I have no words to describe the amount of pain my feet have been in & still are.

But these are finally high enough they don’t touch my toes & again I can actually stand on my heel with the spur. I will definitely recommend these to anyone in need of shoes for issues like this. I can’t thank those of you enough who were so helpful to me & so quick to reply to my questions.

And for paying attention to all of my issues and taking the time to send me a link showing just the shoes that were going to be best for me. If I could afford another pair I’d get them. And I will as soon as I’m able.

I wish they had a little more cushion but that’s most likely just my feet. Lol I’m praying I win a pair, but for now I’m just so happy to finally have a little comfort in what feels like a lifetime of issues.

Having already purchased two pairs of the Kuru Quantum sneakers, I was looking into a supportive shoe as well that wasn’t a sneaker. The Quantum helped me with my toe numbness and knee/back pain, so based on the good reviews, I decided to try the Kinetic shoe.

I liked these so much that I purchased a second pair. I can say that ALL of them are nothing short of AWESOME! Yes, they are a little pricey but when you see them in person, you can tell the quality of the workmanship and materials that go into making them.

That, plus how amazing they feel on your feet, which most definitely reduced the pain I was experiencing, make them well-worth the price. If I had to state one complaint, it’s that they are a little warm and not very breathable.

My feet sweat wearing them and I think adding some holes into the leather would help with this. But overall, the arch support is excellent, the toe box is very roomy, and the shoes are extremely comfortable.

I am a consistent Size 7 regular width and these were right on the money.

Ordered the vegan 11. 5 and they were too big – sent them back no problem. Ordered the black/silver 11’s – too small in length, returned to the store and tried the 11 wide in black, fit great! Went home an ordered 11 wide in black/silver and a pair of More v3 in silver/white – I have the More v3 in black/white size 11 that I use for work so I wanted a pair for home and running.

The More v3 arrived first and they’re too short! I think the sizing is in consistent cuz my black/white More v3’s fit great, especially in the toe box. Then I got the black/silver 990 v5’s. Again, the sizing seems inconsistent.

The all black pair I tried in the store fit like a glove, but these are a bit long in length, but not enough to send back. They actually feel real comfortable Solid construction, quality materials, real nice foot bed.

The tongue tho, it slips toward the front of the shoe with walking. I managed to rig it by using the the 2nd to last shoe lace hole to pull the tongue up so that it stays in place. Thankfully the laces are extra long so that this is possible.

Overall I’m stoked. I expect these shoes to last a long time – definitely an everyday shoe. And New Balance has been great. I’ve ordered and returned several pairs of shoes in the process and had no issues.

I got these shoes for walking my dog four-to-five miles seven days and to wear to my part-time job 3-to-4 hours a day four days a week. They are adequate and no more than that but it would be unfair of me not to qualify why I say that.

I suffered nerve damage from a series of backpacking trips carrying too much weight five years ago that have left me with a certain degree of numbness in my feet. These shoes are an improvement over my older Vasque hiking shoes that were wearing out, particularly with regard to the degree of cushion they provide.

Where they fall down is in the degree of support. When I first got these I hesitated and nearly returned them but decided to give them a chance. I have wound up getting another pair of sturdier walking shoes from another American retailer to use more regularly than these and will use these for lighter duty.

They’re decent shoes but if you’re 68 years old fighting numbness like me they may not be the ones you need. I know this review doesn’t apply to everybody which is why I wrote it the way I did. At the same time I suspect it does apply to some people.

I first began to run in New Balance shoes while I was in school in Boston during the mid 1970’s We purchased our “320’s” at the company store in Brookline. Since then, I have purchased my New Balance shoes from small specialty retailers, the Jogg’n Shoppe in Arcate, CA for the last decade or so.

I was seriously disappointed when New Balance decided to stop supporting small retailers – who had been the faithful basis for the company’s growth and success. For this order, I bought my 990’s from a New Balance company web site, although it appears that they were shipped from a different organization located in Missouri.

My local retailer can no longer get New Balance shoes because he does not have “elite” status. I hope that New Balance’s management begins to see the error in their decision to favor large, on-line operations over the local shops that have been (and still are) working to serve their customers and keep them in high quality shoes.

I would hate to see New Balance go the way of so many other companies who have been squeezed out of business by low margin, on-line operations. New Balance’s 990’s are the only shoes that really work for me, and I hope that I can continue to have their quality and excellent design available to me.

I rarely write reviews but I feel I need to for these shoes. I have severely flat feet. My arches are always swollen and my feet always hurt. I’ve had many different types of expensive prescription orthotics and they never seem to help any more than the store bought ones to be honest.

This shoe is the most comfortable one I’ve had. The pain in the top of my foot is almost gone and the plastic inserts give me just enough support. My arches aren’t aching like they use to. I work at a Y as a wellness coach so I have a closet full of various workout shoes but these are my favorite and the only ones I want to wear anymore.

I bought the black, then the turquoise and will probably be buying the pink. They have truly been a game changer for me! Please continue to make more colors! I am a 9 and usually size up to a 9. 5 for athletic shoes but I probably could have sized up to a 10 and used the inserts they give you.

If you’re in between, I would suggest doing that.

I’m a hot mess. Foot pain, pronation, back pain, scoliosis, hip pain, and of course rotten, old arthritic knees (guess mama was right – I spent way too much time on them in my youth). Pardon me dirty man – I’m talking about 42 years of skating, hockey, cheerleading, paintball, basketball, volleyball, jumping off roofs – don’t ask why.

it takes it’s toll. Anyway – 50’s creep up and it got to where I couldn’t take my poor puppy around the block for a walk without feeling excruciating pain somewhere, everywhere. He was not a happy puppy.

I hit rock bottom on the activity scale – so I bought a pair of Verve’s – and “oh boy” that hit the spot! Within a few weeks, I was wearing out my Great Dane – going for miles and running him crazy around the dog park – sometimes twice a day.

Now, my Dane’s worn out, and I can’t get enough. No sir – you dirty, dirty man – from exercising. (ick). I’ve since bought Tahoe, Coral and Naples. And they’re all great. So much better than the “bums” I used to get.

But Verve. my my my. will always hold a very, very special place in my heart. I’ll definitely being hitting up Verve again.

I received the shoes without the inside Comfort Insert that is part of and belongs inside of the shoes. I called customer service and asked if I could be sent the missing Comfort Inserts to the shoes, and I was told that the only thing I can do is to go online and proceed to return the shoes.

I said that I was hoping that we would be able to remedy the situation by them merely sending me the Comfort Inserts. I was put on hold, and when the rep came back she told me that her supervisor said I could go online and purchase the inserts.

I asked why would I do that when it is part of shoe? (The inserts they have online, are NOT the Comfort Inserts that are a part of this shoe. ) I asked if the supervisor understood the problem. The rep said yes.

I said this is wrong and asked to speak to the supervisor. I was put on hold for several minutes, the line was silent. I hung up when they started streaming loud music through the telephone because I did not feel like I was going to get anywhere.

I sent an email through their website; however because they do not have a direct email for subjects such as this and I had to choose a different subject, I am not confident they will respond. You can see from the picture on the website what the inside of the shoe should look like – my shoe has a ragged-edge piece of thin white fabric inside the shoe, not the pink Comfort Insert that is part of the shoe.

I’ve worn this style NB shoe for about five years. Usually a new pair every 9-12 months. It’s getting very hard to find shoes that are leather. not mesh. I use them for both work and “Saturday” wear and find them comfortable.

Because they are leather they keep my feet clean, warm and dry. Mesh shoes just don’t work for my every day wearing. My previous style number was difficult to find this time around so I chose this model.

Basically they are equivalent to my preferred model EXCEPT for the soles. These are promoted as “work” shoes and they have a more “indoor” sole pattern. very smooth slip resistant style- not the more rugged walking or sports type of sole.

I will be keeping them mostly because leather sneakers are getting pretty hard to find.

I first bought the 608 v3 size 9. 5 4E brown. They were so good right away I bought 2 pairs. When they wore out, my wife ordered me a pair of v4 brown online, same size. They had a wider sole (bigger footprint), but they still fit great.

The green trim was the only downside. With v4 worn out, I ordered v5 online, again brown size 9. 5 4E. I’ve had them for a few weeks. I wear them almost every day. The fit seems to have changed a little and they don’t feel as comfortable.

To me it feels like more vertical space across the widest part of the foot. Maybe I’m just used to my old ones. Again, my only real complaint is the white trim. What happened to all brown? I don’t really want to have shoes that call out to everyone “Look at me, Look at me!” I want comfort, support, and something that can match with the color scheme I buy them for.

White trim is better than green, but why not a completely solid color shoe?.

I’ve had the Bondi X for a few weeks and generally run between 6-15km per run 3 times a week. I consider myself a casual runner (for the past 12 years), generally fit and in my mid 40’s. In addition, I have previously used the Bondi Clifton (500km plus) so I can now compare the two.

I found the Clifton extremely spongy and soft and after running beyond 15km’s, I get pains on the outer side of my knee area in which I couldn’t figure out why until a friend suggested that perhaps my shoes did not give enough stability.

I didn’t have this problem with the Bondi X and the only reason I can put it on is that the carbon plate is likely stabilizing my ground contact and hence my knees are not suffering. On short fast running days, I feel the shoe becoming responsive (not as responsive as the Clifton) as I change my running style but I feel the Bondi X at best for long distance (12km plus).

The biggest negative about this shoe is that terrible tongue – its very short and I have to often stop and pull them back up. On long runs, it the tongue goes under the laces and its very annoying. Other than that it’s a good neutral shoe that offers a bit of stability.

I wanted to wait to write this review so I can give an honest one. It’s been about 2 months of wearing these and I am obsessed!! I run about 35-50 miles a week and these have helped my knees and my ankles.

The cushion is next level and the flow of my runs are great. They do alleviate some of the pounding from the sidewalk. Running on Asphalt is even better with these HOWEVER, here comes the con. these do get Little Rock’s stuck in the bottom of the shoe where the X is.

You can feel the rocks every time you step. So that’s a bit annoying but definitely not a deal breaker. My other con is the tongue of the shoe. depending on my socks, the tongue bothers the top of my foot- I find myself having to bed down and move the tongue around.

This doesn’t happen often though, only with short socks. but be aware of that. I also changed out the laces to bungee laces and this changed the game. I want to add that I was nervous about the shoe being too bulky because of the wing on the back.

They do look bulky when holding the shoe but you don’t feel the bulkness of them while running. Overall, I will say these have been one of the best running shoes I have owned and I will likely keep buying these for years to come.

I was just in NYC a few weeks ago. Needless to say there was a lot of walking. Towards the end of the trip, between my lumbar my lumbar being compressed and my my foot with it’s arch falling, I was in extreme pain during the last part of my trip.

I started looking online for better shoes and came across reviews for the Hoka One One show. I checked online in NYC, but nothing was close by. When I returned home, I knew I was going to look around in SD right away.

The night I returned from the trip, I started thinking about which stores would carry them. I thought of Footwear etc. , since the shoe is APMA approved. I went to check the mail and as fate would have it, there was a Footwear etc.

catalog. I checked the web site and Footwear did carry the shoe. I decided to visit Footwear the next day and see this shoe in person. From the second I put on a pair of these shoes, My pain went away in my feet and lumbar spine.

It was instant gratification and I was in love with them. I read reviews that they can help with not just foot problems, but back problems too. I was bouncing between this style and the leather ones.

I opted for this because of summer. I read reviews that walking in these shoes is like walking on a foam mattress. Honestly that is probably the best description for them. They are so light and comfy.

I really wish I had these when I was in NYC. I guess I will have to walk a lot in SD to appreciate these. You don’t have to take my review, I highly recommend that you try these out yourselves. Especially if your spine is degrading as bad as mine and multiple vertebrates are compressing.

I love these shoes so much that I am going back to get the black leather pair and maybe another color too!.
