We initially got the Lima in 11. 5 wide for my 73 yr old fil that had abdominal surgery and had to use a shoe horn to put on shoes. I guess his feet are extremely wide, because he couldn’t get his foot past where the tongue was attached to the shoe.

When I started my return I asked about this and the agent suggested we try the Prague, and from reviews I saw that people had suggested going a size larger. We figured “what the Hey” since returns were free and went for it.

As half sizes end at 11. 5, we jumped up to 13. This adjustment in style and size was the trick and they work as they should and he loves them! He says they are a smidgen big and he wouldn’t be able to run in them without them slipping around on his foot, but as he is not in that situation they work just fine.

I was concerned about style as I’ve always known him to wear New Balance, and that’s why I initially bought him the Lima Liberty as they looked the most like his normal shoe. I thought the Prague was too “skater” looking.

But he really likes them. Comments how they are much warmer than his old shoes (a good thing in upstate NY winters), and honestly I really don’t notice them looking out of place with his normal attire of athletic or sweat pants.

Overall, I was super excited about these shoes! I completely expected him to hate them and I’d have to return them as he is stuck in his ways. But he ended up liking them. My husband tried on the initial pair and really liked the no hand part of them, but they weren’t his size.

It may be something for his birthday this year.

I’ve never spent this much on one pair of shoes before. And this isn’t even a lot of money by today’s standards. I’ve always had cheap shoes and perhaps coincidentally, I’ve always had pain in my feet.

I never spent more than $40 on a pair of shoes and they would last about as long as you would expect. I finally convinced myself to buy one pair of good shoes instead of 3 pairs of bad shoes. I was initially turned off by the uneven cut of the trim.

You can even see where part of the stitching was cut when trimming away the excess bits. I’m a little OCD and unevenness stands out to me more than to other people so I again convinced myself that no one will be looking that closely at your shoes.

So, I laced them up and tied them to a comfortable snug fit and proceeded to do what I imagine everyone does when they get these shoes, I took them off and put them back on over and over without ever using my hands or bending over to adjust them.

They were great. I walked around the house a little bit and I couldn’t believe how soft the insole was. I did order a half size up since my feet and ankles do swell throughout the day but I think I could’ve kept my normal size and still had a great shoe.

I think I’ve had them over a month by now and they’re still soft they still slide on and off hands free and they’re still comfortable to wear. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I’ve had these shoes now for about a month, and so far they are working as advertised, sort of. I like the shoe a lot. It has a nice style (obviously of I wouldn’t have bought them). They are comfortable to wear and walk around in (maybe too comfortable).

I would have rated this shoes a 5, but there’s a slight problem with my ability to slide them on and off (well, really just on) as advertised. This may be unique to me because I have a bit of a narrow (or low volume) foot, so when I lace these up tight enough that they feel how I want them to feel on my foot, well, then when I try and slip them on it causes too much friction on the tongue pushing the tongue down under the laces slightly.

Well, maybe more than slightly, but not entirely. And yes, I ensured they were laced through the tongue tab/loop thingy (does that even have a name?) In the end I ended up just lacing them a bit looser so that my foot can slide in without pushing the tongue down.

This may be a narrow foot problem or a preferred lace tightness problem, I’m not sure. Nonetheless, my choices were to either loosen up the laces or hold on to the tongue when I put them on (which kind of defeats the purpose).

These shoes are like walking on a cloud. That said, I’m having trouble getting them “dialed” in. I’ve tried the inserts first on both feet then on the right only then on the left only and it just seems I can’t get long term, as in all day, relief from knee, hip, foot pain.

Not all at the same time. Changing out the inserts moves the pain around and for now it just a matter of which combination is the most bearable. I’m in no way faulting the shoes. At least I can make adjustments/alterations unlike a couple of other pairs of shoes I alternate with.

If bunions are your problem, like they are part of mine, the toe boxes in these shoes are a blessing. They definitely solved that problem for me. I recently started some pretty strenuous exercises and that’s when my problem, knee/hip, pain, showed up on an on going basis.

But. my knees feel the best they do all day immediately after exercising. I’m continuing to modify my exercise routings that now include knee pain exercises. It seems to be getting better but like always – Time is the teller of all.

I would buy these shoes again and do recommend them.

50 years of high intensity cycling have left me with metatarsalgia and the formation of a bunion. Recently some unusual swelling has made it impossible to wear almost any of my shoes without cutting slits in them across the metatarsal region (helps a lot).

I was a bit overgenerous in picking out a size and width of Edgewaters, but greatly appreciate the first pair of shoes I’ve owned that are truly “wide” and caused no pain while going through this episode.

Choosing a half size larger than my normal 9, and “extra wide” (4E) for my “D” foot was a bit overkill, but now I know I’m prepared if the swelling I experienced reoccurs. It’s nice to know there is a company that understands the need for a wide last.

Perhaps if I’d had cycling shoes with a truly wide last (good luck finding them) starting 50 years ago, I would never have needed these. Very few shoe manufacturers understand the need for a wide toe box as a matter of course, and I don’t care how narrow or wide your feet actually are.

This goes double for any sort of athletic footwear.

I broke my tailbone 16 years ago then went through surgery 2 years ago that actually made my pain significantly worse. After surgery I was recommended Hoka One One, I wore those the last 2 years. Recently I felt like they weren’t good enough and did a search online for sciatica shoes and decided to try out this pair of Orthofeet.

My pair arrived today and I immediately felt more support than the Hokas. One of my problems is that I limp and leg stands about 3/4 an inch longer than the other, things like heel lifts and 3rd party orthotics in my old shoes wasn’t enough.

These shoes come with spacers and orthotics so I can perfectly make them to my unique body. The only complaint I could imagine is that they are warmer than my old shoes. I also really like the style choices in this brand; I think these will never go out of fashion.

I ordered 3 more: slippers, dress, and another casual.

I loved the Rivera 1 and I rotate it with Torin 5 and some 8mm -10mm drop shoes as well. Rivera 2 is a great improvement! If you have a skinny foot… size up 1/2 size. If you have a tad of a wider foot size up 1 size from measured she size.

This is more of a sport fit from altra so not as wide and clown shaped as the torin. Overall the ride is smooth and I love it for hilly runs fast runs and long runs. it’s a simple shoe and in blue it’s beautiful! I measure a 9 and wear 9.

5 in most all running shoes. I do have a wider forefoot but skinny ankle. I sized up to 10 in these and I’m happy! They came with some red koolaid stains on front top and on lace of left shoe. Shipped from Altra… so a tad discounted they didn’t check before sending, but I couldn’t be bothered with returning so I’m living with it since they’ll get muddy eventually! Overall happy with full price purchase!!! I also think the update feels smoother and a tad better lockdown in heel.

So happy with these and planning for these to be my race day shoes! 26. 2.

I’m picky with shoes, so usually just wear flip flops all year. These are simple, but VERY comfortable. They are great with jeans. I have a wide foot and these are perfect. Only worn a few times, but the white bottoms are staying clean.

In the future I could probably see creases forming, but that’s just a prediction. I’m ordering a second pair tonight in black.

Overall the 2 tread sneakers that I ordered have worked out great. They are light and comfortable and make for a great replacement of the traditional, heavier, and more uncomfortable office shoe. I got black and gray, however am looking at ordering the navy blue as well.

They have held up well so far and I would recommend them to others for both business or casual attire, like going out for the evening.

I have a high arch and it’s very hard to find shoes that don’t hurt my feet. A lot of people who have Plantar’s Fasciitis recommend Propet so I thought I would give them a try. I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks and so far they are great, no pain at all.

I normally wear inserts in all my shoes, but these have been so good, that so far I don’t even need them. They are true to size. They are nice looking shoes and I am very pleased with my purchase. Would definitely try other Propet shoes in the future.

I have never heard of this brand before, so I was hesitant to order these tennis shoes. I decided to take a chance figuring I could return them if I didn’t like them. Well not only do I like them, I love them! I have arthritis in my feet, and always have issues with shoes fitting comfortably.

These are soooo comfortable for me, that I am ordering a couple more pairs. I would not hesitate to order these.

I also have these in white and have been patiently waiting for them to come out in black—I was so excited when they did. I wore them all day yesterday to Walt Disney World and after a few hours, my feet, particularly the bottom of my heel started to hurt.

This is the same thing that happened with my white pair, although it took a few months for those to start hurting me. I contacted customer service after it happened with the white pair, as it was physically painful to walk in them and I was told to purchase insoles from Walmart and that should help.

I was shocked by the recommendation and contacted customer service again and was told a similar response by two other customer service representatives. Again, I was shocked because I have only ever had amazing customer service experiences with Rothy’s.

I’m sad that my brand new shoes are becoming too painful to wear, like my white pair and after one day, most likely won’t wear them again. I’m not going to bother contacting customer service again, because the insoles they suggested for the white pair don’t help and that seems to be the only solution.

So sad and disappointed, as I am a longtime Rothy’s fan and have not experienced anything with the slip in speakers, the booties, or the pointed flats.

I went from wearing very worn out, “arch-supporting” canvas shoes to these Rothy’s after my toes started poking through the canvas of the latter. My initial impression was that the sole of these Rothy’s was very hard, but then I realized that I was just used to feeling the floor right through the bottom of my shoes and these shoes actually have a fairly thick, supportive sole.

It took a few days for my feet to adjust from going from shoes that were literally falling apart to these, and I did experience some calf soreness, BUT now I am totally used to them and am sure these are for the long haul.

I work in childcare and am on my feet constantly and wanted a shoe that would not wear out in six months. I’ve owned a pair of Rothy’s flats for 3 years now and have worn them quite frequently and they are showing no sign of wear.

I’m confident that these shoes will be just as hardy and it’s a plus that I can toss them into the washing machine when applesauce, puke, etc. inevitably gets on them. Why spend less money on shoes that won’t last long? Also, the fit is great too.

I love that the sole isn’t too thick or exaggerated on the side and that they hug the contours of my feet. They are exactly what they need to be!.

Needed sneakers to wear at work with my scrubs. My friend loves Rothy’s and has been wearing them for years! I finally broke down and bought this first pair. Don’t love the price but love the recycling plastic and ridding or planet and oceans of the unnecessary trash which I’m sure the recycling process is not cheap so that justifies paying the price for these shoes to me.

I usually wear a 7. 5 in sneakers so went with the 8 but they were just too long so exchanged for a 7 and they fit better. I do wish they came in half sizes however. The toe box to me feels really narrow on both sizes and I have a narrow bony foot.

The soles are comfortable for all day wear and I have a high in step. Overall, the shoes are nice but I would not buy them in another color. I did by the loafer style in black and like that style better than these.

I normally buy 11. 5 custom from Taft, but these are not available in custom. I have tried 11 and 12 in dress shoes and the 12 I feel a too loose and 11 a bit too tight (width not length). This sneaker came in snug, but after wearing for a few days, I likely stretched it out a bit and it was perfect.

The shoes are (as usual) well made, packed and shipped. I have gotten a few comments/compliments and “where’d you get those”, so I think others view them as positively as I do. I would recommend without reservations and would consider going smaller rather than larger in a sneaker due to give/compliance vs.

This was my very 1st purchase & the customer service is 5 stars. The Taft packaging is clean with individual shoe bags (I don’t know if I would put the white laces with the Cognac color shoes) but adding an extra pair of laces & a elegant looking shoe horn I give that 5 stars.

The Woven sneakers look fantastic and I’ve been receiving double takes, comments on them and with me living AZ they don’t have to be seasonal shoes 5 stars. My overall experience with the shoes and Taft in general has been top notch the attention to details and being RET Navy that means a lot to this Sailor Goooooooooooo TAFT!.

These actually have enough padding and wide heel base to actually have some bounce to your step and some foot support. I’m not a little person, my knees get enough wear and tear… I threw out my older white based tennis shoes from torrid as soon as I wore these around the block.

Absolutely no comparison to their older style as far as rebound. Should you wear to gym : probably not … these aren’t a substitute to a fitted gym shoe (asics where I have to get a Mens 6. 5 /7 bc of foot width) but absolutely great for an every day shoe that will not cripple you.

Wish they were a pinch lighter weight but you don’t notice once moving. They are true ww shoes. Reg torrid size 7. 5 for me. I have the green and the tan that they came out with first. I’m likely going to get the black too.

They are a bit more finished looking than wearing gym shoes even good looking ones. The tongue is attached so doesn’t move so you can slide on. Laces are there for minor adjustments only. This is the only tennis shoe base I will buy from Torrid moving forward.

I have the tan and the olive green in this sneaker and LOVE them! I recently purchased the grey and was so disappointed to see the bedazzling on them. I was hoping for them to be like the tan and green ones.

I will be returning. Such a disappointment. Torrid PLEASE don’t do this to this style of sneaker. Also, please put out an all-black color in this style.

These are great! They are easy on and easy off. and feel super comfy. I walked around vegas in them for a few days without issue! I do feel like the bottom is slippery sometimes, though. But great sneaker! Kindof look like Yeezys? or am I delusional? lol.

Just bought my 3rd pair! I’m 67 years old with a few recent foot issues; however, I feel like I’m back in my 30s when I wear my Sohos all day; no foot pain at all ! After my 2nd vaccine shot very soon, I’ll be good for traveling again with all my Skuze Soho shoes, including my one pair of the Miami style, which I love very much as well !! P.

S. a shoe horn does help with getting the shoes on, but once they are on, you won’t want to take them off!.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I purchased the Skuze Sohos. I just knew I really liked the way they look. When I received them I realized the material and design is even nicer in person. Then I put them on and realized they checked all the boxes for me, extremely supportive, good bounce, fitted, very light weight and are now the most comfortable shoes I own.

I’ll be purchasing another color and look forward to future pairs. Thank you.

I normally only buy Nike Air Max shoes, yet once I tried on my first pair of Skuze Shoes, I was instantly sold! The mix between comfort and lightweight is unmatched and couple that with the amazing styling of the shoe and in essence I feel I have the Perfect Shoe! Top notch quality and the compliments I get on them are very flattering as well.

Before I talk about the shoes I have to compliment the insane design of TF’s shoe box. (Design team, I see you!) This is a brand who knows the importance of lifting that lid. I expected to lift the cardboard and VOILA, shoes.

No. I opened the box and WHAT?! It was a short and thrilling journey to my new recycled kicks. I was dazzled at the presentation. Now for the shoes: AMAZING. I love them. Caveat: online, I didn’t see that the heel piece and sole are not pure white like the upper.

Anyway, these shoes are super clean. No extra stitching, no obnoxious logos, just a minimal white sneaker. I normally wear full foot inserts in shoes (yay arched feet), but I’ve worn these for 8 hour on-my-feet shifts and I haven’t noticed a difference.

Granted, I don’t wear these a ton as I don’t want to have to clean them all the time, so I can’t speak to how the inner sole holds up over time. I love the fashion recycling movement and was pleased to find this brand.

I will keep buying these. I’m onto my third pair. I love that they are waterproof. I wear them year around in an area with all 4 seasons. They’re perfect for walking in the dirt because if you get them dirty… it doesn’t matter, it wipes right off.

They’re waterproof which is my favorite part. I don’t have to always wear big rain boots. Be careful though, if you’re obsessed and wear them every day, you may wear out the sole. I did. Now, I only use that pair for the gym.

They’re the perfect lifting shoes because of the flat soles. I love the pop of color on the back. Every time they have a new color I want them, even though it’s literally just a minor detail. I also own the black ones and they’re perfect for the office if you don’t love heels or want to look more casual.

I honestly recommend them to everyone I know. They do crease easily but it’s honestly a small price to pay. Although, I do wish they didn’t crease so easily. It’s just the nature of the material, I assume!.

So, I bought these because in my search for more eco-friendly sneaker options, a lot weren’t the classic style I was looking for but then I found these all white lace-ups! I love the minimal design. I will say/warn that these shoes absolutely needed a break-in period.

I wore them on and off for about three days with taller socks to soften them up without getting heel blisters. They’ve been very comfortable since. My one negative is that the tongue is forever sliding to the outside of my foot, regardless of how I tie my shoelaces.

If they had a tongue loop, 5 stars for sure. Other than that one design fail, I’m happy. The “leather” is easy to clean, I can comfortably walk in them all around the city, and they really aren’t that pricey in the long run.

This is a great sneaker which offers a very clean and minimalist design. I love the brown touch on the top of the tongue as well as on the back. The packaging was incredible, but i won’t ruin the surprise for you *wink wink*.

For the current price point of $105, (on-sale) i think this is an excellent buy if you are in need a simple yet trendy white sneaker. I removed a star because the stitching inside of the shoe, on both sides of the base of the tongue causes discomfort when worn.

The discomfort is mainly above and between my pinky toe and toe #4 (ring finger toe?). Each time this happens I have to adjust the tongue and try the shoe on again. Otherwise this is a great shoe. The shoe fits true to size.

For me the sizing was equivalent to Adidas Shell tops, Nike Airmax, or Nike Air Jordans (Jordan 11). I hope this helps!.

A super fan of the lux and performance shirts and needed some shoes to go with everything. The Everydays have an impressive presentation. Even come with a super nice leather travel bag. Footbed great.

Leather quality. And yes they go with all kinds of outfits. But the problem is they are so uncomfortable. I thought maybe I had to break them in. Loosened the laces. Wore with thin socks, no socks still really tight on sides and toe box constricts the toes.

At an attempt to pack light and bring one pair of shoes (while still in the “Let’s Try And Break Them In” phase) I brought them to Vegas. While in the airport in my home city I knew I made the wrong shoe decision.

I survived Vegas with no blisters but the bad ventilation did not help my sore feet feel better could not wait to take them off. Ran over the return period so stuck with them. Maybe if I got a half size larger Than my normal fit I don’t know just feel like I wasted a $100.

Let me elaborate on this. The shoes look sweet and the leather seems nice however the quality of build on both pairs I ended up getting wasn’t great or it was off. The leather on the right side of the right shoe seems almost as if they left too much leather on and so when you take a step the leather basically bends/bulges out and it looks pretty ****** if you’re wearing shorts.

Other than that they’re great. Might be why they’ve been 30% off for months on end. Either way I recommend them and who know mine might have been a defected pair. Love BYLT in general though.

You can not go wrong when it comes to good fellow purchases!! This is a great purchase for many reasons, excellent price, very comfortable, and they go great weather you are dressing down and definitely can pull off the look if you are dressing a comfortable but classy look and clearly they can help with the preppy look.

To open this review, I’ve had my Nothing News for about 4 months now. Thanks to the need for winter boots, they’ve been worn for about half that time. However, in that time, they’ve shown next to no signs of wear, and I’m the kind of person who doesn’t treat my shoes kindly.

For comparison’s sake a pair of Van’s MTEs that were my prior daily-drivers split between the sole and the canvas within days of beginning to wear them. On the other hand the Nothing News look the same as the day they came out of the box, with the exception of one of the glued-on “Nothing New” emblems on the right heel.

Makes sense given that this is my driving foot, but it seems like the badge itself could have been omitted as anyone who drives will eventually have this problem. Despite this, I’d give the durability a 10/10 so far – I wish I could write a follow-up review a year from now to really get an idea of it (if not here then on r/BuyItForLife).

Overall impressions of the material and craftsmanship are also 10/10. Despite being made from 100% post-consumer product or naturally-occurring material, the texture of the canvas still feels natural and not artificial (something I was worried about).

The laces and eyelets also appear to be designed for the long haul, and my personal favorite feature is the stitching holding the canvas to the sole (something the Vans MTEs only connected with glue).

It’s very clear that time and effort was put into longevity of the shoe. Additionally, the shoes regularly get compliments and looks at work, and they pair well with a variety of jean colors in my wardrobe (I went with the Grey).

I’m aware this is more subjective but fit, however, I place at a 7/10 (which drags the entire product down from 5 Stars to 4). Either the sole material doesn’t have great support at the heel or the counter (part of the shoe that wraps around your Achilles) needed to be tighter, because whenever I walk I find my foot shifting backwards in the shoe when taking large strides.

It’s not a deal-breaker for me but it gives the perception that your shoe isn’t tight despite feeling like a snug fit elsewhere. Regardless I’m excited to see how the company continues to iterate their design.

If they make it clear that any potential issues with fit are addressed in a future product, I’d be happy to buy from them again.

A few things here, some good but mostly disappointing. I definitely did not appreciate that these shoes were made in Sichuan, China, and have a difficult time reconciling an eco-conscious brand with shipping from Western China to East Coast USA.

I guess this is where the $120 cost goes. to shipping. This seems very at odds with the ethos of the Nothing New brand. I didn’t see the proud display in the print before I purchased them and I would not have bought them.

The shoe itself. I found the size to be way off and much smaller. I wear a 12 or 12. 5 and the 12’s that I received fit more like an 11. I would have returned these but missed the return/exchange window.

This shoe does get 1-star because the shoe itself and the packaging both look excellent. The design of the packaging is excellent and Nothing New clearly spent a lot of money on the immaculate design of its packaging.

The shoe itself seems exactly like how I imagined when I bought except for the size of course. I still get excited when I see these shoes so you can imagine my deep disappointment in feeling misled.

The shoes are very pretty and I was excited to buy them. I wear either a size 7. 5 or 8 depending on the shoe so I bought both thinking I could try them at home and keep the one that fit best. After walking around in both pairs in the house, I decided to keep the 8 and boxed the 7.

5 back up planning to return it. Unfortunately, after wearing the 8 around outside I got blisters on my heels and the skin scraped off around where the high top meets my ankle. Very uncomfortable! But, again, the shoes are very pretty; so I decided to try wearing the 7.

5 and this time wore a sock that goes above the high top. No blisters or scraped skin this time but there is still a good bit of room in the shoe so the size still isn’t quite right. I am very disappointed in the fit and the course material that scraped up my skin.

AND now I have two pairs that don’t really fit and I can’t return them.

Overall experience very mediocre given inability to meet expedited shipping I paid for, ultimately having to try two sizes to find the right fit, etc. The materials in the shoe and the shoe appearance is very nice; can be dressed up or down and fits the new business casual norm well.

However, the fit is terrible. I am a 12 in every athletic shoe brand I’ve ever tried – Nike, New Balance, On, Brooks, etc. – and the 12 is much longer than any of those shoes. It actually fit closer to a size 13 pair of Nikes I own.

However, when I tried the 11, the length was right, but it was far too narrow/compressed on the top and sides of my foot, and ultimately would’ve caused blisters both there and the back where the leather loop is.

I had to settle for the 12 with a very thick insole in it to make up the extra room, but it’s still not great. Wolf & Shepherd, please make half sizing and/or cut these like actual athletic shoes! I get that dress shoes run big (I am an 11.

5 in Allen Edmonds) but I measured with a ruler and there is a full inch of difference between the 12 and 11 sizing in length; that’s a huge difference when it comes to people’s actual fit and feet. You need half sizes in the common size ranges.

Reviewing these after several months of use. These shoes look great, better than similar offerings from Cole Haan or Johnston & Murphy. But there are several flaws that caused me to give a negative review.

First, the soles are made of a very rigid foam that makes them less comfortable than the brands above. Second, the top layer of the insole is made from some kind of bonded leather, which looks nice, but in practice causes your feet to slip and slide in the bed when you’re walking.

Third, the top layer of the insole came unglued from the bed and folded under itself, causing discomfort when I walk. Finally, the toe box is really narrow. I never wear wide sizes in other shoe brands and never have a similar problem.

I’ll probably hold onto them because of the sharp looks, but won’t be wearing them when I walk to and from the office or train because they’re not comfortable due to the reasons listed above.

The shoe fits great, and the customer service is excellent. I bought a 14 to match my typical sneaker size like the site says, but it felt like there was to much room in the toe, called and they swapped it out for a 13 with no questions asked.

Got the 13 which I assume would fix the problem and it was to small, pinched my big toe. Called again and swapped it back for a 14, again no questions asked. The current shoe fits great, I’ve worn it only twice, but very comfortable and great fit and feel throughout the day.

You might ask why I gave this a 4 star review instead of a 5 star, because after only wearing the pair twice, the insert is separating. The brown lining has already worn off the sides of the insert and is compressed down into the base of the pad, which is not what I would expect from what appears to be such a high quality shoe, and for the cost of the pair.

Not sure if I need a wider insert to fix the issue? I expect some level of wear and tear over time, but not after only wearing them twice, not sure why they separated so quickly.

I love this shoe. I am glad I read a review before purchasing which stated the shoe was tight on the sides. I ordered a half size up from my normal size. I am glad I did. Please note that when you get the shoe, the laces are in the tightest possible position.

When I first tried to put these on I thought “oh my goodness, I went up half a size and they don’t fit!” I worked the laces and loosened them as much as possible and then the shoe came on. They are super comfortable! I am a teacher and on my feet most of the day and I look forward to wearing these!.

A great looking, stylish shoe that’s well made! The shoe runs a bit large. Ordered it in 2 sizes. Keeping the smaller size even though it a bit snug. Hoping the leather will stretch. If the shoe came in half sizes it would’ve been perfect fit.

I always dread shopping for shoes. Being a size 13 really limits options in stores if they even have any in stock and online including athletic stores. Knowing that Bloomingdales in Sherman Oaks has a great variety of products and outstanding customer service, I decided to check there for my recent pair of shoes after several unsuccessful trips to many stores.

Not only did they have these nice Hugo Boss shoes in size 13 that can be used for a variety of occasions, the employee who helped me was incredibly helpful and professional.

I was going to buy the Gucci ace in all white, then I saw this one and it looked even more sleek. My husband absolutely loved it. It’s leather inside and out. True to size and highly recommend. A staple sneaker.

I was extremely skeptical when placing my order for these shoes. I never pay over $100 for a pair of shoes or anywhere close to that amount. I had decided though that I wanted something quality. I normally wear a size 12W and when they didn’t offer W shoes I almost didn’t place my order.

I decided to take a flyer on them and ordered not one pair but 2 pairs, one black and one white. I placed my order on March 14 and when I got the confirmation email I was informed that it would be June before I received my shoes.

I was further skeptical about the multi-hundred dollar purchase I had just made for shoes. I was delighted when my shoes arrived on April 25, until I opened the box and saw them. My heart sank, what I had feared I thought was a reality.

The shoes looked extremely small, especially narrow, and I thought there was no way they were going to fit on my feet. I was so discouraged that I put them back in the box and set them aside for days without trying them on.

Finally I brought them back out to confirm what I already knew, that they didn’t fit, and to my utter shock, disbelief, and delight they fit! The shoes actually fit perfectly and are super comfortable.

Not to mention they are a really good looking shoe. I entered into the transaction knowing there was a possibility if not a high probability that I would be dissatisfied with my purchase. The opposite ended up being true I am 100% completely satisfied with my purchase and my expectations were exceeded highly.

I recommend these shoes to anyone that wants a quality made high end shoe. I plan on ordering more pairs in the future, I have my eye on a tan pair, and even if I have to wait the full 3 months this time it will be worth it.

Great shoes with no feeling of having to break in a stiff leather heel. The process takes a while from start to finish, but that is to be expected with their mission to reduce waste and create handmade shoes on a smaller scale.

They provide update emails throughout the process so you always know which stage of production your shoes are on. And when the shoes arrive, they offer information about the ethical treatment of their employees at their different production facilities.

Overall, great and comfortable shoes with fair treatment of the individuals crafting them!.

I have worked with textiles and leathers for years and it is rare that a company knows much of anything about their products. This is not the case for Beckett Simonon. It’s apparent that they not only know the leathers, the thread and the proper techniques to create smooth transitions between the layers of the shoe but on top of that they keep their styles elegant, timeless and simple–an ideology that is lost in todays flamboyant and flashy “the clothes make the man” style of mindset.

I am very thankful for this company, they easily rival heritage brands like Allen Edmonds as well as newer startups like Thursday boots. As if that is not enough, they are so humble that they downplay the quality, craftsmanship, knowledge and cost of their products.

Great shoes and a very happy boyfriend. Only negative is I chose to order to the store incase they didn’t fit or weren’t his first choice in colour only to be told you can’t do online orders and return to store.

Seems stupid to me especially as we don’t live close by. Happily they were the right size and the right colour!.

Love these trainers. Found the sizing listed was difficult to know which to order as I’m a uk 7 (which I believed to be a 40) so ordered my usual sizing but came as a ‘41’ (which I believed to be a uk 8) Think this is Off Whites sizing so bare that in mind when ordering.

Purchased the Brown leather. Leather quality is second to none. Fit is good once the leather breaks in To your foot. Took my about a week of wearing. Now they have a great fit. Insole is leather, thick and removable so you could fit orthotics or different cushioned insoles.

I did notice the squeak other reviewer mentioned but before anyone panics… it’s not an annoying squeak. More of super high quality leather tongue breaking in. As it’s molded to my foot I hear less and less.

Sound very comforting actually like a saddle.

The shoes are very durable and comfortable! If you are looking for a very stylist shoe that offers durability as it is not cheaply made and comfort if you are flat footed such as myself or have orthopedic foot issues and need a shoe that can withstand being on your feet all day and a lot of walking this is the shoe.

They are very solid at the sole of the shoe and do not completely bend from toe to heel as a cheaply made shoe this is basically for looks will do. The stitching is superb and the sole is very strong so the shoes will last for a while with proper care.

They are elegant as you can dress them up with a lot of different clothing styles. It takes a couple of wears to break them in as the top of your toes will be a little sore after your 1st wear until it stretches out but once it does your toes should be fine.

I purchased both the black and white pairs.

i wasn’t sure which color my Dad would like best so i bought them in both browns & black. i was hoping he would at least like one pair. to my surprise he loved both & kept both. i chose this brand because the reviews said that they were comfortable right from the start; didn’t have to be broken in.
