20 Best Shoes For Knee Pain Relief (2023 Updated)

Recovering from total hip replacement and my gait had changed tremendously. As a personal trainer and bodybuilder, I had many expensive pairs of gym shoes including high tops. Unfortunately none of them were helping me.

I’m so very glad I purchased these boots they are so supportive and have made a great difference in my over pronation and arch issues. They look great with gym socks and tights as well as jeans! Worth while purchase and I’m ordering more!!!.

I just bought my 2nd pair of Tivoli shoes. I am still wearing the first pair; I have worn them every single day since I bought them about a year ago! They are so comfortable that you could sleep in them.

My all-time favorite shoes. I bought the second pair so I will have them ready whenever these eventually wear out. And I walk a lot! lol.

I ordered these a half too big because I wanted room for socks. As it turned out even with socks they were too big. But thanks to the inserts they fit perfectly. It’s like having custom made shoes! Also, the wide width is great.

Now my crooked toes can lay comfortably in my shoes. I walk a lot and these Tivoli boots feel soo good!.

Whatever is the science behind these shoes, it works. The padding that massages the area under my toes has greatly improved my walking, posture, and slowed down the numbness. I can now go 5 weeks without treatment from my AP doctor.

And the blue color is beautiful! I’m living in Orthofeet sandals this summer!.

A new favorite! My go-to show. No one can believe they’re orthopedic. One of favorite things is that I have hammer toe. First pair of things that I can get on without having to ‘help’ my toe fit around it! I think I need another pair before I wear these out!.

Purchased because of good reviews and versatility (was looking for a black boot closet staple). Wore on three occasions, each of which resulted in foot cramps after less than 10 minutes, even when not walking and sitting down.

I threw them in the trash. Don’t waste your money.

I’ve had a pair of these boots for about 20 years. The pair I’ve had are what is shown in the picture on the website. I would describe them as “slightly darkened natural leather. ” I wanted to replace what I had with the same boots.

There were only two choices, so – going by the pictures – I selected the one that looked like the boots I had. What I received looks nothing like the picture, but is consistent with the description “Distressed Brown.

” I’m okay with the color and will keep the boots, but other buyers should be aware that if they select the Distressed Brown boot, it will NOT look like the picture. It is more of a milk chocolate or chocolate brown.

Seems like an easy fix on Ariat’s part. just take a picture of the current Distressed Brown boot and swap it with the one being used! This is a very good boot. It’s both comfortable and rugged. I’ve certainly gotten my money’s worth out of the first pair, and expect the same from the second.

I did put a pair of Dr. Scholl’s insoles in them to take the comfort up a notch, and expect to do the same with the new ones.

I visited Phoenix and picked up a pair of black Ropers for my hard to fit surgically reconstructed feet! Sadly, women’s boot selection no longer address width issues. I was elated to find the Heritage boots in black (D width) after trying on at least 20 other pairs! I liked them so much I ordered a pair of distressed brown.

The brown will take a bit longer to break in due to a leas supple finish, but wearing them every day has made them more pliable. I’ve been walking along the Pacific NW rocky coast through mud, sand and salt water with my 2 high energy German Shepherd Dogs, and the boots provide a solid base of support.

These boots seem to be extremely water resistant and almost indestructible! I just brush the dirt off, and I’m ready to wear them to a casual dinner! LOVE both pair but the flexibility of the brown rate them as my daily favorite! Just wish they made them in red!.

The boots are amazing! The only reason I gave it one less star is because the insoles are super thick!! I couldn’t even get my foot in and I was so disappointed because I loved the boots and I have trouble finding cowboy boots as it is because my calves are so thick.

Anyways I figured out I can remove the insoles and replace them with a thin pair I bought at Steve Madden. My calves are 17” and I bought the wide calf option and I still have room in them! I couldn’t be happier! I wore them to a 2 day country music festival this past weekend and my feet didn’t hurt either! Highly recommend these boots and if you can’t get your foot in when you get your pair, just know you can remove the insoles! PS shipping to Canada is a breeze with sheplers- boots came next day no duties! I’ll always buy my boots from Sheplers.

Looked nice but very narrow in the toe. I went off of my previously-purchased Drew shoes for size and these were too small/narrow (more the shape of the shoe than the size I think). The shoe bed seemed comfortable but also, I had to remove some of the padding so that it wasn’t so tight which would have reduced the support (great support with; good support without).

I do not have foot swelling problems so I think maybe the main part of the shoe needs to be roomier (if you had problems with swelling, even removing the extra support wouldn’t help). Really actually decent shoes just not for certain people (those who need a roomy toe box).

I bought these shoes for a new job I have in sales where I’m on my feet the entire time I’m working. I have another pair of Drew shoes, and I like them. Unfortunately these run rather large, and I have to return them.

I would advise ordering down a size. I usually wear an 8. 5, but they were way too big for me. I am afraid to reorder them in a smaller size and have them not fit because then I would have to pay double shipping, so I’m just returning them.

I have a really difficult time finding shoes given my feet that tend to swell coupled with heel spurs. The shoe is comfortable and looks fine. The only issue I have with it is that after a few days it is actually too big.

At first, I thought it was going to be to small because I had a hard time getting it on. However, once I got it on it felt really good. Now it feels a little too big. The take away is order a half size down.

I been researching this product for sometime now , when I seen Alex smith on an advertisement I was finally push over the top,to make a purchase. I suffer with a serious bad back,neck, and I also have RSD! My legs are always in pain 24/7,so I am always looking for something to help with the pain/getting some relief.

Up to this moment nothing has helped ,there is nothing out on the market as far as medication or a machine of any kind that is a cure,or that is made to relieve pain. So with that said I decided to make this purchase and give another product a chance to see if it would help with a little release from the leg pain and back pain.

My purchase came in on a Saturday about a week ago; the day they came my legs were really bad with pain I was having trouble walking ect. I unpacked the flip flops and right away put them on; with in minutes I was receiving relief from my pain ,the longer I wore them the better my legs felt, it was a unbelievable moment with in a short period of time I was experiencing NO PAIN ! So far as I stated earlier I do not want to take these Oofos flips flops OFF! The only issue I have is I am kicking myself where the sun don’t shine for not purchasing these Oofos flip flops a lot sooner! The cobblestone streets of Europe have ruined long expensive trips for me before, so I was worried about an upcoming trip to NYC. And although the streets in New York are asphalt and concrete, I was still worried that a week of heavy walking would wreck my feet.

My wife thought I was crazy when I packed 5 pairs of high-quality shoes, just to give me options, but I’m so glad I did. I brough expensive Adidas sneakers, Sorel boots, Merrell Moab’s and Mocs, in addition to my OOFOS.

I wore the other shoes the first 3 days, thinking they were the best option for walking streets. But I came out of that with sore and achy feet, with blisters forming on the pads. At one point I even broke out the moleskin, but that did not help at all…I was struggling and felt like staying in the hotel.

So, on day 4 of 7 I finally switched to my last option, my OOFOS EEZEE low show, and suddenly my feet were heeled (pun intended)! My feet felt so great the entire trip after that! I got rid of the moleskin and didn’t notice any issues once I switched to OOFOS.

My big concern is would they hold up to that much walking. Not only did they hold up with 10 miles of walking per day, but they still look new! Both my soles and my soul are happy that I was able to enjoy my trip, and not be hobbled by my bad feet.

I will never go on another trip without my OOFOS!!!.

Ok, won’t lie. I JUST got home from purchasing these sandals, put them on. and after a brief moment of adjusting to the unique feel of them. well, WOWZA. I’ve never had a pair of sandals that are so comfortable as these OOFOS ORIGINALS.

When initially buying these I waffled between the slide and the flip-flop, and went with the latter. Absolutely no regrets! I generally wear 5. 5-6 (my adult feet began their lives as size 5, but time changes things) and so went with the ladies 6.

Yes they look a tad wee “large” around the edges, but it is a good kind of large, like good hiking sandals which give you a bit of room to help prevent you from stubbing your toe. The piece between my toes is surprisingly comfortable, but the rest of the sandal is remarkably so.

The degree of arch support offered in these came as an absolute surprise; I was afraid that the cushiony foam would indent as some less expensive foamy types do, but nope. These babies hold their shape.

I plan on wearing them around the house, and maybe running errands; as I am an avid hiker I honestly don’t think they’d hold up to hard trail-trekking. But afterward? OH yeah! SO – this is my 5-star first impression.

I’ll be back in a few months with another review about the sandal’s durability! But so far so good!.

I’ve used OOFOS for at least 7 years and couldn’t live without them! Many years ago I was a Gymnast, Cheerleader & Ametuer Athlete — I have suffered from terrible lower back, knee and hip pain and these flip-flops were my Lifesaver.

I have numerous pairs in numerous colors and I wear them everywhere. When I did travel before Covid I wore them in other countries and always receive many compliments them & now. When people respond to the high cost I asked them what price do you put on pain? I have referred numerous people from all over the World and everyone is thrilled.

I referred my doctor last year and she loves them and bought many many pairs for her kids and other people she knows. Yes they are pricey but to have relief from pain is priceless!.

My favorite flip-flops of all time! This is my fourth or fifth pair since 2013 when I first discovered Oofas. Great arch support and cushioning. In fact, I recently had a terribly painful case of plantar fasciitis, and my podiatrist recommends Oofas (more than one style) to put on first thing out of bed for around the house.

The only recommendation I have for the manufacturer to do is to make the tread more durable. Once the tread starts to wear, the shoes become dangerously slippery if you step in liquid on a hard smooth surface.

At that point, I have to buy new ones. They are expensive for flip flops, but worth it overall. I still give it a 5. True to size.

I have had 8 pairs of Oofos thong sandals, one pair of clogs. The best and why I continued to buy them was the first pair. Others were never as good, and the material, quality, and craftsmanship has deteriorated since.

Esp. this last pair, feet stuck to them, never experienced that before, getting a little better with wear, poor workmanship, smaller than 4 other pairs in same size. You can tell they are outsourced and the manufacturer has decreased standards or it’s a different manufacturer.

Even the 2 thongs had slightly different navy color. Look at the cut out triangle on sides, jagged edges in the newer pairs. Older pairs smooth. Not important but it tells me the quality is not as important as in the past and that things have changed.

When I stepped into my first pair, it was like walking on my dog’s orthopedic bed, no sensation of pain or hardness, like walking on a sandal made entirely of memory foam or better. Haven’t enjoyed that since but because they are supposed to have 37% more cushioning, I continue to buy them.

Customer service is unresponsive. I prefer to buy them from Amazon when available due to lackluster, unconcerned customer service. The clogs never felt as cushioned as the thongs, but I needed a closed toe.

I tried the all enclosed shoe but they were terrible in cushioning and I felt like I would fall over due to them pushing me over like rocking or something. They went back.

I have been an OOFOS wearer and fan for about 5-6 years now. I wish I would have found them sooner- BUT at least I found them! I had suffered terrible foot and leg issues for years and being in the Army required to be quite hard on your body with a ll the physical demands, so I was constantly in therapy trying to repair damages and keep up with all the miles and abuse my body had to endure.

I was in therapy for years and have tried everything from massage, supplements, physical therapy, dry needling, acupuncture, you name it I had done it! I also had tried all sorts of different footwear to no avail.

Well I finally came across OOFOS online and I was hesitant to purchase due to not being able to try them firsthand, but I figured why not! When they arrived, I was so impressed and figured the walking on cloud feeling would not last and it might make my issues worse.

Can I just say- I am so glad I pulled that trigger and made that purchase!!! I was able to get back to running pain free after wearing these shoes and my issues have subsided. I always have a pair and wear them regularly.

I am hoping they will come out with a waterproof boot so I can do my farm chores in them. Thanks OOFOS for helping my body heal itself! I will always be a return customer.

These shoes are comfortable! I have wide (EE) flat feet and severe midfoot arthritis in both feet. Finding a pair of women’s dress shoes that fit me is usually an adventure in pain. The black satin-like material and “Mary Jane” style makes them appropriate for most dressy occasions.

I recently wore them to a wedding and reception and I think I was the only woman there whose feet weren’t hurting by the end of the night!.
