This is a really high quality prenatal pill at a very reasonable price. In my pregnancy group many other women were complaining that their pills smelled or tasted awful, and some were using more expensive brands that were less complete.

I do not find these pills to be unpleasant at all and like that they have DHA so I don’t have to take additional supplements. The pill capsules themselves are pretty large but the coating makes them go down easily (at least for me).

When I first started taking these (pre-pregnancy, when TTC) I noticed they made my stomach feel a little off, likely because of the iron in them. So I ended up rotating these with iron-free gummy pre-natals every other day until my body got more used to them.

Once I was actually pregnant I switched back to using only these because I wanted most complete vitamin option available. I have used these throughout my pregnancy so far, including the entirety of the first semester.

I did experience morning sickness and don’t know if it would have been worse or better if I used a different pre-natal vitamin. If you are sensitive to the iron in these I found the rotation method worked for me.

Additionally iron supplementation becomes more important later on in pregnancy when your baby has depleted your iron and calcium stores, so you might find you can use a different prenatal if iron worsens your morning sickness then switch back to an iron-containing supplement later on if needed.

Note that dietary/supplementation needs are individual and depend on your current state of health and other factors. Always consult a doc if you are pregnant and not sure what medications and supplements to take.

Listen ladies, it’s all true, people are not exaggerating. I saw the previous reviews too and thought maybe people were. These things are VERY fishy. I mean, your fingers, your burps, your tongue, they’re all going to smell and taste like fishy fish, like the fishiest fresh fish, not like a yummy fish fry.

And the pill is HUGE which was hard for me because, I prefer pills for their simplicity, but my gag reflexes are too sensitive, so I always have difficulty no matter the size. So for a pill this large, I literally have to cover my mouth with my hand while I swallow so that I don’t spit it out.

This is exasperated by preganacy nausea. Got it because the price was great for the quantity and quality. But now I feel like, how great is it really if you can’t take it? So I don’t know, if you decide to try this, maybe take it at night, with a sweet drink, right before you eat a meal.

I’m going to try and take them for as long as I can but I’m going to research another one in case I can’t make it because pregnancy is a long road.

I highly recommend this multivitamin after using it when I had both of my kids. It contains all of the recommended nutrients: folic acid to help prevent neural tube defects, iron to support development of the placenta and oxygen supply to the baby, along with calcium and vitamin D to promote the health of the baby’s bones.

The main reason that I chose this multivitamin is because it also contains DHA (Omega-3 fatty acids) that help promote a baby’s brain development. I never eat fish and rarely eat any other foods that contain Omega-3 fatty acids.

This multivitamin contains more DHA than gummy vitamins. I am very sensitive to any vitamins that have a “fishy” taste, but I have not had that issue with this multivitamin. A word of advice: the iron in any prenatal vitamin may lead to constipation.

Unfortunately, I didn’t learn until my second baby that taking an additional magnesium supplement can remedy this problem! I highly recommend magnesium (even in additon to Colace) to anyone experiencing this issue.

Nausea shortly after I take the vitamin. I need to sit down/stop eating for the nausea to stop. I didn’t get these effects with my old vitamins, which were gummy vitamins (they were more expensive, which is why I switched).

I like these vitamins a lot, but wish that they had not discontinued the formula that also contained probiotics. This formula is good though. Easy to swallow, and no negative side effects (like constipation) that some other vitamins can have.

I love these multivitamins. They really work. I take them once a day. They make me healthier because I don’t eat a lot of healthy food, so these sort of replace the things I actually need to eat. I’m a college student which is why I don’t get all the specific foods I need to eat.

But these are great vitamins, I recommend. Plus they are inexpensive!.

Do NOT purchase this product if you are on any type of diabetic medication. I experienced a severe allergic reaction 10-minutes after taking my first pill. I had to seek medical treatment from my family doctor.

I experienced rapid heartbeat, headache, dizziness, hot face flush, painful to touch the skin on my forehead, high blood pressure, and random electric nerve sensations on different parts of my body. I regularly shop at The Vitamin Shop and have never experienced any issues until recently.

I will continue to shop there, but I will do it with the advice of my doctor.

I’ve had the Solgar Male Multiple multivitamin for roughly two weeks now and I absolutely love the way I’ve been feeling. More upbeat, ready to take on the day. I’ve been a fan and consumer of the Solgar brand for about 6-7 years now, primarily trying the VM 75 line when it comes to a daily multiple.

They were great, but I would often find myself with headaches some days and couldn’t pinpoint what the exact cause was. The Male Multiple option features a really nice herb blend, too. My only wish is that they sold a soy free version, but it’s inclusion of soy is low enough to where it’s not bothersome.

To the previous buyer before me on this review thread, just because it does not agree with you does not make it a bad supplement. That’s not a good fair review for other people who might consider buying this.

I bought it myself and immediately felt the difference in my body and energy level. 20 years ago multivitamins used to really kick in when you take them but nowadays, multivitamins companies fill their pills with low-quality ingredients and their products do nothing for you.

Solgar male multiple is different and you will fill it kick in. Sogar products are one of the best brands out there. trust me on that. the only thing you might have a problem with is the size of the pill.

it’s on the bigger size but I don’t have a problem with big pills but you may not want that. that’s all.

I want to give these a 5 star rating but like all Supplements with Iron, they taste terrible!! This is nothing new. The serving size is 3 large tablets so I have to split up the dosage because full stomach or not, it makes me nauseous! I will say that 1 month after using these, I really feel so much better over-all.

I have been avoiding Iron Supplements because they are bad tasting & make me nauseous. I would suggest not taking all 3 at once but perhaps 2 after breakfast & the 3rd after next meal. I do feel a lot less tired.

These have a lot of wonderful ingredients in them, which I am so thankful for, but they are HUGE. I really appreciate that they are vegetarian too. That is a big thing for me since I AM a vegetarian! It’s nice to know they don’t have fish oil or other animal products.

But again, they are HUGE. That’s a big problem for me as I have a hard time swallowing large pills. One other concern – the smell. As a pregnant woman, I can absolutely see how these would turn your stomach and possibly make you nauseous.

That said, I do think this is a good product due to all the wonderful vitamins it includes. Oh, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that they come in a GLASS bottle! I hate buying things in plastic, even though it’s virtually unavoidable, so this was a very welcome surprise! Overall I would recommend them.

I got the Every Woman Multivitamin and after trying it, it is now my choice for a multivitamin. I stopped taking multivitamins because they have been to harsh on my stomach. Now that I am getting older and my body is changing I realize the importance of taking a multivitamin everyday.

I tried this product and I have found that it is gentle on my stomach. Each pill has a low dose and you can take up to 3 to get the full dose. I can take them with each meal and I don’t get the cramping in my stomach.

I feel better, my skin looks better and my leg cramps have lessened. Most of the ingredients are naturally derived which makes me feel that I’m making the best choice for myself. Overall, I think that this product is great for me, I feel much better physically and mentally.

My husband has been taking his Emerald Labs Men’s 1-Daily Multi – Multivitamin with Methylated Folate, Extra Zinc and Lycopene for about two weeks now. Maybe not long enough to see any big difference in his health but he seems to have more energy lately.

He played volleyball in the pool with our children and grandchildren for the past two weekends in a row. He still complained of his normal aches and pains but not as much as usual. He hasn’t mentioned a difference in how he feels except to say his urine looks bright yellow which means he is taking his vitamins.

I think the longer he takes it the better we will see if this multi vitamin helps him improve his health. He wasn’t taking any vitamin before this so we will be able to see if there is any difference.

Before purchasing any vitamin or mineral products I always research the philosophy (if possible) of that company who creates that product. Emerald is my go to “clean” brand. They contain no filler’s, chemicals or unpronounceable ingredients.

It is a fairly new family run business with a mission (it seems) to create the most potent products with combinations that enhance absorption. Without that ability to fully absorb I feel I am throwing money away.

Yes, these products are more expensive than many others but in this case I think that you get what you pay for. My family’s health is what counts.

Warning ⚠️!!!! These supplements gave me hives/rash and luckily I had old standard allergy pills at home or it could have been worse. The hives/rash affected my neck, both ears and one of my biceps! Supplement industry is NOT regulated like pharmaceuticals, but I haven’t encountered such an instance except with these.

I’ve been purchasing and-Life’s Men’s Multi-vitamins for close to twenty years now. Used to take the regular Ultimate One for Men, now the 50+. They’ve been impossible to find over the past year, glad to have them back online!.

Since taking these vitamins I feel better, more energy,and not tired all the time.Hard to get them due to no stock a few times.
