A hot cold water dispenser is a kitchen appliance that dispenses both hot and cold water. It is usually mounted on the countertop or under the sink. Some models also come with a built-in water filter.
The main advantage of a hot cold water dispenser is that it saves you the trouble of having to boil water separately for hot beverages or ice cubes for cold drinks. It is also more convenient than a regular faucet because you can get both hot and cold water from one appliance.
There are a few things to keep in mind when choosing a hot cold water dispenser. First, consider the size of the unit. If you have a small kitchen, you might want to choose a compact model. Second, think about the features that are important to you.
Some dispensers come with a built-in water filter, while others have a separate dispenser for hot and cold water.

Due to the extremely hot water, weve added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. The water dispensing area measures 9×3. 25×10 inches with a height of 7 inches below the spouts to accommodate most large cups and bottles.
The dimensions are 11. 25×10. 75×42 inches. The water cooler is UL listed and complies with all standards of.
It’s an attractive, quiet unit BUT, the space beneath the dispensing spouts is far too short even to fit a travel bottle much less a tea kettle. Also, the rate of the flow is very slow as is the time it takes for the water to get cold even with the HOT water turned off.
I wish it had 8 more inches of space beneath the spouts. Don’t expect to refill a large amount of bottled water at any one time as it simply only cools 15 ounces. I also found the exact same cleaning crystals online for MUCH cheaper than avalon charges, so do your research before you order theses crystals.
You don’t need all the accessories that come with their cleaning kit as you can use your own kitchen gadgets & gloves to clean it. It’s rated #2 in the bottom bottle dispensers.

This water dispenser is a great asset to our life. The box was large and heavy but very easy to unpack. When I cut the ties the box just lifted off the cooler. Installation was so easy that our teenage daughter did it by herself.
First you plug it in. Then open the cabinet door on the bottom and place a 5 gallon water jug inside. You need to attach it to the pump. No need to lift heavy water bottles anymore. It dispenses hot, cold, and room temperature water.
We use it to make hot tea and also to fill cold bottles of water for our workouts. No fuss or mess ever. The machine is black and stainless steel. It has an attractive look. It fits nicely in our kitchen and matches the decor.
There is a button that blinks to let you know when to replace the water bottle. An extra nice feature is that there is a safety lock on the hot water. This is to prevent children from playing with it and getting burned.
This machine is very quiet. This is a high quality product that would be great in any home. We get so much use out of this.
I am so grateful for this bottom loader. We had a top loader for 7 years and the part that the water bottle went into broke, and there was no replacement part available. My husband spent a month in the hospital with Covid-pneumonia and is now home attached to an oxygen generator for several more months.
I was in a panic, because there was no way I would be able to lift a 5 gallon jug of water. Thanfully, I found this product and purchased it based on all the great reviews. I was able to get the water bottles delivered and brought into our kitchen, so all I had to do was scoot the water bottle over to the cooler, open the door and slide the bottle into the opening.
I love the night light and the self-cleaning feature. It’s the perfect size and I love that the bottle is hidden. I highly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed. Thank you a thousand times!.
I purchased this Brio water dispenser for home use after reading many reviews. Overall, I’m satisfied and I’m happy with my purchase. The water is instantly cold or hot. It’s no louder than the noises my new refrigerator makes.
It’s small and it’s really easy to load the water. It was “shipped” within 24 hours and it took a little over a week to get from California to Michigan. I will say the downside is that they ship with FedEx.
FedEx seems to be very rough with their packages and unfortunately when I unboxed my dispenser it was dented on the side. Brio could have packaged the dispenser to withstand the shipping with more padding or foam.
Upon unpacking the dispenser I immediately called Brio customer service and they offered me a 10% discount for the damage. Of course I would have preferred that it came flawless, but I do also understand that things happen out.

Overall, it’s a nice water cooler. Doesn’t have room temperature function, just hot and cold. Also, had to flush the system many, many times when we got it because there was a ‘new plastic flavor’ to the water, even though the directions say to flush once before using.
It actually still tastes a little off, but I’m hoping it eventually wears off.

I bought this to replace the 6 year old one that died at the office. I don’t want to deal with bottled water but love having filtered water to drink at work.
I bought this for my office. It worked well for a couple days and then stopped filling with water. When i had my handyman take a look, we found the filter had plugged the line. We’ll see how it works going forward.
The InSinkErator instant hot and cold water dispenser has become a favorite among homeowners because it not only speeds up the preparation of meals and hot beverages, but its low energy consumption also saves money.
Instant hot and cold water dispensers save water because you never have to wait for the water to heat up or cool down. Water is dispensed on demand, so you only use the amount of water you need, helping to reduce water waste.
The tank holds 2/3-gallons of water, which is the ideal quantity for most household uses, including the preparation of meals and beverages. Enjoy hot water right when you need it with the InSinkErator Instant Hot and Cold Water Dispenser.
Installing this is a bear. I’m pretty handy and it still took me four trips to the hardware store to get the right fittings and connectors. The design decision to have copper tubing as the supply tube instead of a braided hose is presumably cheap and keeps the price down, but makes it deeply awkward to connect, and it’s entirely possible you could kink the tube in the process.
There are no connectors in the box to connect to your under-sink pipes; you’re entirely on your own. The first unit I installed, after a few hours of work, never produced water above 140F. To the company’s credit, when I called the 800 number they gave me a local repairman to call who came and swapped it out the next week, but that’s not a great experience.
Once it’s installed, it does pretty much what it says on the box. It claims to produce water at 210F at the maximum, and mainly I’m seeing water at about 205F or so. If you’re using it to make coffee or green tea, that’s fine.
If you’re using it to make black tea, you’ll want to boil that water, which won’t take long, but it’s an irritating step to need. (This is nothing like the European hot water dispensers which actually produce boiling water, in case you were hoping for that; it’s just hot.
) After a few months of use, the hot water continues to have a distinctly metallic and not very nice taste, which is disappointing. The water dispensing spout doesn’t come out very far, so if it’s installed in the corner of your sink (as will be the case for many people) it’s hard to use it to put hot water in a pot to make pasta, for example, or fill a teapot to warm it, because you can’t get the pot close enough to the spout.
This still seems to be the best permanent installed consumer unit available in the US for solving the problem of instant hot water, but I still can’t say I’m not disappointed.
This is our second insinkerator under sink water heater – the first one, at a different house, just heats water and is terrific and going strong after a couple of years, and this recent one I bought with hot and regular filtered water, is even better.
After years of happiness with your no nonsense garbage disposals, I looked at other brands for hot water on demand but came back to you. It is so worth it! Why did I wait to buy? Cost, I suppose. I use this for everything – pots of hot water for cooking vegetables, a way to kick start my pressure cooker, tea and tisanes, a quick way to juggle the right temperature for proofing yeast, it’s all good.
I’m not terrifically excited about paying for each replacement filter but they are SO much cheaper than the ones for the previous filtered water AND I don’t need to hire someone to change the fiddly filter.
For the win, I get absolutely unlimited hot water. I just gave away my electric kettle.
In my prior home, an Insinkerator was put in duing a kitchen re-model in 2011. It made me an avid tea drinker when seasons turned. Could not imagine life without it. When we retired and moved (Aug 2021), the new home did not have instant hot water.
It did have a soap dispenser mounted in 1. 25 inch counter hole by sink. Soap? Who needs that? Ordered an Insinkerator H WAVE SS as soon as weather started to chill. A threaded sleeve on faucet removes, so it can fit through the 1.
25 inch hole I had. To connect to water inlet a couple added parts were needed: 3/* NPT Tee, 3/8″ – 1/4″ coupler (local ACE) and a 1/4″ cutoff valve (Amazon). Thread tape. Maybe an hour’s effort to install- and happy to have hot water again! Now I can take frequent tea breaks while working on other things I miss from prior home.
The Avalon 3 Temperature Bottom Loading Water Cooler with Child Safety Lock is made with an innovative stainless steel body. It offers a choice of 3 water temperatures. The easy-to-use push button spouts make it so much more convenient to use.
Simply press the temperature button of choice and allow the water to flow from the given spout. The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47°F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink.
The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one’s tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 185°F. Due to the extremely hot water, we’ve added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet.
We have incorporated a nightlight that can be switched on from the back of the unit. This will make filling up your cup at night so much more simple and easy. The dispensing area is 12x3x10 in. with 9 in.
of space below the spouts. This will accommodate most large cups or bottles. There is a removable drip tray at the bottom of the dispensing area to catch any drips or spills. This water cooler is bottom loading with a cabinet to hold 3 or 5 Gal.
bottles. The water is pumped from the bottle through the machine. There is also an empty-bottle indicator that will light up when the bottle needs to be replaced. The water cooler is UL listed and complies with all standards of ENERGY STAR.
I am so impressed with this cooler! I researched water coolers units for three days before I decided on this one, yes I’m a bit obsessive about getting just the right features but also getting a product that has good reviews so research takes me a while.
Of course I was still apprehensive because of the negative reviews that stated the buttons being hard to push or the cooler being noisy, or that there was a plastic taste. Let me tell you that every single cooler that I researched had these same comments but this one had so may positives as well as reviews stating the wonderful customer service that I decided to go with it.
I have been using it for almost a week now, and I have about two inches of water left in my first bottle, I absolutely love it. Unboxing and setup was super easy. At first I was disappointed that I had tiny scratches on the stainless door until I realized that it had a film that you have to peel off after set up.
I installed the water bottle turned it on and let it do its thing for an hour then came back to super cold and super hot water. My thermometer read 40 degrees on the cold and 190 on the hot which is colder than stated, my fridge water is 60 degrees so the temperatures make me very happy.
My buttons are easy to push and even though the water doesn’t dispense as fast as my fridge it’s not bad. My main concern when purchasing beside the longevity which only time will tell was how noisy this unit would be, well it was not what I expected at all, this thing is quiet! My tiny wine fridge makes way more compressor noise than this cooler.
I also read complaints about the noise the pump makes pulling the water up, well that is no big deal either, I think that people who experience that issue are not seating the bottle properly and letting the lines lie against the side of the bottle.
I also read in negatives the cold isn’t cold or the hot doesn’t work but if you read the instructions and do the set up step by step there shouldn’t be an issue. One of the last processes in set up is to turn on the buttons for hot and cold on the back of the machine.
I’m only speculating that people do not turn those on then feel the features don’t work. Lastly I only have one complaint, I wish the unit was taller. I see that I can purchase a 10 inch base to raise the height which 10 inches would be perfect but they are asking almost $80 for it.
This riser is black plastic and although a great idea, I feel like that is some serious price gouging. I am restating that I have only had this a week but all in all I couldn’t be more pleased. I purchased this unit from Amazon so I hope to upload a video review there soon to show how quiet this really is.
We love this unit. I got it from a big box hardware store as a complimentary review product. Loved it then, love it more now. We have well water, so having filtered hot and cold water is great. The hot side, which generates 180 deg F water for tea or cocoa, is used daily.
Its got a built-in ozone self clean option, or you can do a deep clean with powdered citric acid (sold everywhere, good for dishwahers, too. ). This later option requires removing the top and the sealed lid of the stainless steel water tank inside.
Not difficult. Filters last a full year for us. Ours is an older model with a single filter. Newer models have a 2nd charcoal filter. So, thats an improvement. Filters are readily available. After a whole house repipe, we learned our Avalon is “idiot proof” too.
We had no cold or hot water post repipe, and couldnt get it working. The plumbers had partially drained it, then forgot to turn the tiny shutoff valve back on. Once we found that valve closed, there was joyful gurgle sounds, and the internal compressor kicked on.
So, Avalon was smart enough to install safety switches internally to prevent damage in this kind of low water situation. There’s also a safety switch in the bottom sitting in a tiny plastic sump that shuts off the unit if there’s a leak.

Reviews From Real Customers
The most crucial problem is that the ‘change keg’ alert comes on when there is still an abundant amount of water left in the keg. The fact that the hot and cold options stop working once that signal comes on is even worse.
I’ve found myself having to continuously readjust the keg just for that alert to go away, and sometimes it does not or only temporarily does, even though the keg is full. The main flaw is the sensor, which checks the amount of water left or the tube that sucks the water from the keg.
Now that I’ve experienced this problem, it seems like such an obvious flaw in these bottom loaders versus the top loaders. The only reason I purchased this item is that I was not too fond of the kegs showing, and it was easier to insert them into the dispenser.
I’ve only had it a week but so far it works great! The hot water is just right for teas, the room temp setting is cool, the cold could be colder but it works for me. It arrived on schedule and was easy to set up.
Few things to be aware of…it needs to be set about 4” out from a wall and 3” away from anything on each side (I had a smaller space in mind so had to relocate it) also, it can be quite noisy when it’s heating or cooling but that doesn’t take long, and, if you’re ordering water bottles, order an extra for the first time…you will go through half a large bottle just to clean the tanks.
Otherwise it’s a nice looking unit and it does not leave much water in the bottle when empty as apparently some other units do! I love the bottom loading and the self sanitizer!.
I love the dispenser. It works just as it should. The reason for four stars is you have to remove the entire cap from the bottle if you use the Primo water 5 gallons or the bottle doesn’t fit into the lower bay.
Walmart does not like when you do that and hassles you for it. At least the one I use does. (store 1915) How are you supposed to use the bottles made for the dispenser? I guess I will go to the water store down the street where they don’t harass you, the bottles fit without fighting the near impossible cap, $4-$5 cheaper, and they even put the bottles in the car for you.
The Avalon Countertop Hot/Cold Water Cooler is made with innovation and style. The easy-to-use paddle spouts make it so much more convenient to use. Simply press your cup against the paddle to let the flow of water to come out.

The Primo Simplicity Design Water Dispenser offers instant access to ice cold and piping hot purified water with the touch of a button. Enjoy a cool refreshing glass of water or prepare your favorite hot or chilled beverages soups or oatmeal with ease.
Its clean simple look complements the decor of nearly any room in your home or workplace and its child safety latch ensures peace of mind. This dispenser uses 3 to 5 Gallon bottles which reduce waste from single-serve bottles and filters.
I had the older model from Lowe’s which lasted 7 years until the middle button broke went down water wouldn’t stop coming out. This one looks exactly exactly the same as the one I had before except the buttons are a lot more smoother when pressing down with better water flow coming out.
The first one came was very loud whenever the unit needs to chill the water it would make very loud sound much much louder than my top open freezer and two doors refrigerator until one day very high pitch loud sound coming from this unit I finally returned and requested for replacement after one month.
The replacement was brand new but the water coming out from the dispenser had a very strong nasty plastic taste. I thought it would go away over time if I keep pouring filtered water in the flush it out, but it tasted the same didn’t work after a month and a half.
I finally returned at the store and placed a new one the same exact model from the website. The taste fine and the dispenser is not loud as before when it needs to chill the water, however, for some reasons the unit is not flat it would wobble.
My wife just told me just keep it this time and forget about returning to the store. I saw the price suddenly went up so much right after I bought it, so I will just keep it for now unless something happened again.
Another thing I wanted to point out if you ended up returning large item to Walmart like this one here, FedEx would be the only option and whatever you do DO NOT select scan code to drop off at a fed ex location.
I lived in Southern California with so many fed ex stores everywhere but NO ONE has a scan code reader to print out the label for you except at a FedEx Kinkos store which not many around these days and the nearest one about over 10 miles away in don’t open on Sunday.
It works. It makes hot water. It makes cold water. And I especially like that it also has a third tap for plain room temperature water. One can switch off the cooler with one switch, and turn off the heater with another switch.
There’s even a third switch for a tray light so you can see what you’re doing when it’s dark. All in all it’s a well thought out design that is simple to operate yet provides all the functions one would want in a cooler.
We got tired of replacing water filters constantly for our drinking water but we did not wanted to go into individual water bottles because our children would just leave them all over the house and it would take a lot of space in our fridge plus it is not a responsible option for our environment.
Our Primo (top loading) water dispenser was the perfect answer to our issues, and it even provided a few pluses that we had not even thought about. It fits perfectly in our kitchen; it is also child proof which was a big plus.
The installation was DIY and was super easy, we anchored ours to the wall for security. The dispenser itself is light so its easy to move (without the water, of course). We were thrilled when we found out that refilling the 5 gallon bottle is less than $1! Primo has a locator which makes very easy to find the closest location that has their water refill stations.
One of the best parts is that we get the choice for cold or hot water! That was one of those unexpected extras that we find using a lot. The hot water is hot enough for chocolate, noodles and similar; it also has child safety for it.
If you are wondering, the dispenser is quiet. Oh, and it includes a coupon for free water (one time use). Overall, we have not found any issues at all, if anything we keep finding ways to enjoy it more.
Tip: dispense a few glasses of water before enjoying your 1st glass, it will make a difference in the taste (same process when as when you change a water filter).
Simply place the drip tray, load a 5 gallon bottle of water and start hydrating in no time, no plumbing or installation required. Features: Removable, Heating & Cooling Dispensers, Indicator Lights Condition.

The Brio CLBL420 Bottom Loading Water Dispenser uses 3 and 5-gallon water bottles and features food-grade stainless steel water tanks to provide clean drinking water all day long. Easy access to hot, cold and room temperature water is available with the push-button controls which makes it easy to prepare instant beverages, soups and more.
The state of the art, bottom loading technology allows for a spill-free environment in your home or office. Bottle installation is simple and quick, and thanks to its low location, it reduces the need for strenuous lifting and awkward maneuvering.
The CLBL300 dispenser includes an indicator light that flashes when the bottle needs to be replaced, as well as a functioning LED light that allows for easy water dispensing in low light conditions. This water dispenser requires no filters and includes a removable dishwasher-safe spill tray for easy cleaning.
The built-in child safety lock prevents child access to the hot water control. This item stands 41-inches tall by 12. 5-inches wide and is available in a contemporary white finish. The unit also features a power-down switch for both the hot and cold tank.
The cooler looks good and quiet. Has good features. However, the nozzle doesn’t produce coherent water flow all the time; drips after finishing and sometimes outside the cup. For an expensive cooler, the cooler is expected to function better.
Also, the indicator that the bottle is empty needs to clearer (playing sound is a better idea). Also, some water (almost) one cup stays in the bottle.
The 400 Series Tri-Temp Bottom Load Water Cooler is such a great addition to my office. I work from home for a bank, so I’m constantly on the phone and was having difficulty consuming enough water on a daily basis.
This water cooler has solved that problem! I set it up right next to my desk and I can refill my water cup any time I need to! The cold water is nice and refreshing and I love the hot water function.
I put some hot cocoa packets in my office and I can now have a treat any tiny. And the child safety link on the hot water dispenser is such a great feature. I also enjoy that it’s a bottom loader. There’s no way I would be able to install a top loader by myself.
This water dispenser checked every box for me and I couldn’t be happier with it.
Designed for use at home or in the office, this top-loading bottled water dispenser puts both hot and cold water right within reach. It boasts crisp white housing that looks great in any space and the heavy-duty construction means it can stand up to commercial use.
It also features a patented leak guard and stainless steel tanks. Fits standard 5-gallon water bottles (not included).
I’ve had this for a few weeks and I have to say it fits my family needs perfectly! It says commercial grade, it does look and feel well-built. It came with clear instructions how to put it together, troubleshooting, and even maintaining it.
It’s a water cooler, it makes water cold. There’s a knob in the back that lets you adjust the temperature of how cold you want your water see description for exact temperatures. It also has the hot water portion which has a switch to turn off or on.
I like that and super happy they gave you an option for that. Save energy that way since I don’t have a need for that during the Spring/Summer time but certainly will during the Fall/Winter time. Other than that, it comes with a simple tray for catching water.
Not too keen about it but it’s not a big deal, they do offer a different one on the manufacturer’s website as well as other accessories. It’s super quiet, I don’t notice it on, even when I need a glass of water 2 AM in the morning.
I love it, my family loves it and I’m glad we paid a little more for this than the other ones listed on Sam’s Club. We now use this daily and have changed up our habits of drinking more water.
Wanted a better product, so since this was rated commercial, we thought it would be great. We like the fact that the hot water can be turned off. We really only wanted the cold water feature. Very happy with this item.
I have only had mine for a month. I could not get my hot water knob to work. Before I ordered this cooler I read about the problems people were having with it but I decided that I could live with the way it works.
Well I never could get mine to work so I called the company and he offered to send out a new knob. When I got it I compared it to the one on the cooler and mine was broken. Where the push assembly fits onto the knob the back part of it was broken off.
It was easily replaced by just screwing off the original one and screwing on the new one and now it works perfectly.

Just got it so not sure how it will function over time. But what I do know is the reviews were good, the unit seems strong and it’s attractive enough to put in my dining room. I would suggest that you clean the interior as per instructions.
If it has a plastic taste after that, then do it again after purging the water spouts. I found the plastic taste was because I didn’t do that step. I went to the chat line to question the taste. They were very helpful, sending me updated instructions including a link to a video that was super helpful I highly recommend you go to the chat line for this! It also recommends cleaning every 3 months rather than the 6 months suggested in the booklet that came with my cooler.
The hot water was really hot! Hot enough for tea. If you have small kids, its a bonus that the buttons are on the top and that you have to slide & press to activate the hot water spout. Good safety features! It is surprisingly quiet and is compact enough to fit into a small area but remember that you need space at back and sides.
I absolutely love this water dispenser. It was very easy to set up and quickly started working right out of the box. I have enjoyed having any type of water at literally the push of a button. I love the ability to turn off the hot or cold features as well.
I live in Texas and don’t use a lot of hot water except for a few cold months out of the year. So I have turned off the hot water feature and left the cold water on. It is definitely worth your money…I have saved alot not having to buy big water bottle packages.
I definitely would recommend this water dispenser to anyone looking. I did want to mention the machine I have has the sleek button look too…they are flat circle buttons which makes it look even nicer.
Also I do not hear any noise from the machine at all…it’s very quiet except for the little noise it makes as it’s filling up a water bottle or container. Definitely worth the money!!!!.

We bought this to replace a previous dispenser in which the compressor had failed. We use it in conjunction with a reverse osmosis system to deliver cold water for drinking and room temperature water for cooking.
Product works well, but the hot water only gets to 175F (the thermostat is at a set temp.). Also, you will need to install an inline water supply filter. Other than that, no complaints!
It’s a nice unit. Smaller capacity than our prior unit, that’s a little disappointing, but we still have it hooked up and are using it daily. Patient’s LOVE the filtered water taste. It’s a little noisier than our previous unit also, but it’s in the kitchen, so no worries.

I buy this 1PH to replace my broken water-tank dispenser. So far I do not see any major problems come with this machine. But the thing I am facing to is that the smell and the taste of water are very different from the water tank dispenser that I used to have for 3 years.
But luckily, I have purchased extra water filter when I buy this 1PH so I replace the water filter come with 1PH with the new one (1 star is taken away),it tastes better but still not the best and now I am still learning to get used to this new taste.
A second thing is that this 1PH has only hot and cold water, no room-temperature water, so you either have to mix hot and cold water together or you have to buy extra a case of water and leave it in your house in case you are not in the mood of hot or cold water.
This is an okay machine, very expensive to purchase but in a long run it worth a money. I buy this because I do not want my wife to lift a heavy 5-gallons water tank to replace an empty one when I am not at home, and I am very busy with my business so I cannot go to store every other day to refill water.
We have been using the Aquverse 1PH countertop hot/cold water dispenser with filter at the office for 3+ months, and it has been an excellent replacement for our old water bottle cooler. No more fussing with heavy water bottles! Installation was a snap.
Directions were easy to follow (with pictures), and the kit included all of the hardware needed to connect to the nearby sink water line. Filter is simple to install/replace, and the water tastes great.
The tray under the spout is lower than other units, so it can fit larger water bottles and cups. The hot water gets hot enough for pour-over coffee, tea, oatmeal, soups, etc. and the unit runs very quiet.
This thing isn’t tall enough for me to easily fill my Camelbak Podium insulated water bottle; I have to tip it and carefully watch and listen. Sure, it fits under the countertop at the office, but it’s just plain dumb, especially these days when the millennial all have gigantic insulated metal water bottles.
I’m predicting a perpetually wet countertop in our break area.
Primo’s Bottom Loading Water Dispenser offers instant access to ice cold, cool, and piping hot purified water with the touch of a button. Enjoy a cool, refreshing glass of water or prepare your favorite hot or chilled beverages, soups, or oatmeal with ease.

The dispensers stylish black and stainless-steel accents complement the decor of nearly any room in your home.
It’s child safety latch and night light ensure peace of mind and the stainless-steel drip tray is dishwasher safe for effortless cleaning. This dispenser uses 3-5 Gal. bottles, which reduce waste from single-serve bottles and filters and its Energy Star rating keeps electricity usage to a minimum.
Got it today. Packaging looks very good. No damage at all. Unpacked it, installed the water bottle according to instructions(I’ve done this before), and plugged it in. The pump immediately began sucking water from the 5 gallon bottle into the top part of the machine.
Then I realized something’s wrong. The water drips from the sprout even though I did not dispense. Not just one sprout(the cool temperature one), but also occassionally from the hot sprout. Then I let the machine to run for a while to get to the working temperature.
The instructions say cooling takes 1 hour and heating takes 15 min. Ok. Guess what, the water still drips. But when I did press the top dispense button(there are 3 of them, hot, cold and cool), no water comes out, other than the occassional dripping.
The water tray catching the droppings from the sprout is filling up, but no dispense what so ever. I’m deeply disappointed this beautiful looking machine is piece of junk that doesn’t even function. It’s probably just poor quality control.
From now on I’ll avoid primo machines at all cost.
I drink lots of bottled water and even though I am an avid recycler I have wanted a more cost effective and more environmentally conscious way to get my daily water consumption not to mention lugging bottles of water into my home.
The Primo Deluxe Bottom-Loading Water Dispenser with self-sanitization in black stainless steel is the perfect addition to my family! The Primo Water Dispenser is a sleek design and for all that it does it takes up very little room.
This water dispenser arrived in a well packaged box with no scratches or dents and the instructions were very easy to follow. The most impressive thing about the design of the Primo Bottom-Loading water dispenser besides the look is how super easy it is to load the water.
I purchased a 5 gallon bottle of prefilled water at a local store and you simply insert the probe and then simply slide the bottle into the bottom cabinet, close the cabinet, plug it in, flip a few switches on the back and within 1 hour of being plugged in I had very cold water dispensed.
This dispenser not only dispenses cold water but it also dispenses cool and hot water with easy push buttons on the top of the dispenser. The hot water push button has a safety feature with a red button that you must hold down to dispense piping hot water that easily can be used for a hot cup of your favorite beverage such as tea or cocoa.
There are three spouts with a solid drip tray for all three of the water temperatures. There is even an LED light that you can easily turn on with a switch on the back of the dispenser making it the perfect dispenser at night! This dispenser truly does it all! When the water bottle is empty you just return to the store at which time you have the option to refill it or exchange the bottle for another, super simple and environmentally conscious! When the dispenser cycle runs it is no louder than your normal refrigerator.
The sleek design is a nice addition to my kitchen which is where I chose to place my dispenser. This dispenser is easy to set up and truly is a beautiful addition to my home. The self-sanitization cycle sanitizes the water reservoirs and lines with a simple black switch also on the back of the dispenser.
I absolutely love the look, ease of use and beautiful sleek, modern and compact design of the Primo Deluxe Bottom-Loading water dispenser with self-sanitization.
We really like this water cooler. We wanted a cooler with three temp settings, so we could give the cats room temp water and add water to the aquarium that wouldn’t send the fish into shock. This water dispenser is easy to use.
It runs quietly. We purchased a water bottle stand that holds five 5-gallon bottles and we sat that nicely next to the dispenser in our dining room. We currently live in a very small home, so neatness and order are vital.
We also bought a Primo manual pump for when we need water fast, such as filling up juice pitchers. The problem with the Primo manual pump is it only attaches to Primo bottles. With the pandemic, we could not always find Primo brand bottles.
Our town has the smelliest water. It either smells like bleach or it smells like fishy ocean water on a rainy, humid day. This cooler is a big necessity, so I am glad it is as good as we had hoped for.
I do recommend this purchase. I’d like to add that the buttons are on the top of the machine. I have a cat who loves to get into mischief. I was worried she would stand on the buttons until all of the water ran out, so I stuck a statue of Pepé Le Pew on top of the cooler.
Pre-Owned — Dispense hot or cold water with this top load Igloo Water Dispenser! This top-loader gives you ice-cold and piping-hot water in just seconds! This water dispenser allows you to load 3 or 5 gallon bottles – no plumbing required! There is also child safety lock for the hot button so there are no accidents.
Satisfy your thirst with cool water or relax with a hot beverage using the brand you can trust!.
I love this unit!! Hot and Cold water available as well as room temperature with a switch of a button. Safety switch on the hot water button release so a child cannot accidentally burn themselves. You can hook it up to a water line or get the 3 or 5 gallon jug.
The vast majority of hot cold water dispenser reviews conclude that these devices are extremely convenient and easy to use. Many people find that they save time and energy, and that they are much more efficient than traditional methods of heating and cooling water.
There are a few minor complaints about some models, but overall, reviewers seem to be very happy with their purchase.
