This 30 Amp, 10 Gauge, 25ft extension cord is damn near perfect. The construction is heavy-duty and very robust. An absolute necessity for those times that a power pole at an RV camp is further away than your RV cable will reach.

The handles on both ends make placing and removing the inlets and outlets extremely easy. The 10 gauge wire is exceptionally well-insulated and strong, yet easy to coil for storage. We have found the additional use of a 50 Amp to 30 Amp dogbone, then connected to this extension cord, and then adding a 30 Amp to 15 Amp dogbone to give us additional 120 Volt power for an additional 1800 Watts of use outside of the motorhome for lights, fans, and other 120 Volt accessories while maintaining normal 30 Amp power to our internal needs with the RV’s normal cord off the 30 Amp power pole outlet.

I made a newbie RV move and bought this 30amp extension cord for a Winnebago 2108ds Micro Minnie and did not pay attention to the female end, and you need a screw-on locking extension cord with one of the female inputs fitting an “L” shaped prong on the male RV end of your power supply.

I bought an adapter so all’s well that ends well, but I wish I paid more attention. In summation–THIS CORD ALONE WILL NOT WORK WITH YOUR MICRO MINNIE RV WITHOUT AN ADAPTOR. Save yourself the grief and get the correct 30AMP extension cord.

This product worked out very well for me. I needed to cut grass beyond my current 100-ft extension cord’s capability and it really did work out very nicely! I made sure that both extension cords were 12/3 gauge, connected them, plugged the now-150 ft cord to my electric lawn mower, then I went to work! Walmart was also great with offering this product with free next-day shipping.

This is a true 12/3 cord with excellent insulation. It’s an essential cord during power outage to keep my wifi powered. It has to reach from my deck, where the generator is, to the garage, where the modem and router are.

I need the full length. It is not drawing a lot of current, but it runs cool. The only thing that I wish I could change is the difficulty of wrapping it up when power outage is over.

I decided to spend a little extra money for a higher quality cord. First of all, bright yellow so I can find it fast and 12 AWG so I can use it for a full 20 Amperes. A lot of the cord from local hardware stores have CCA inside of their cords.

Copper Clad Aluminum. After a year or so CCA cords break some where in the middle so many times. The Yellow Jacket brand seem to be pure Cu. The plugs still tend to get hot but are easy enough to replace.

I use the cord for 20 to 25 Amp circuit. So the lighted ends tend to give out for it is designed for 15 Amp use. At least the main cord stays cool. I will get a 100′ 10 AWG cord next time for charging EV does require a bit of current to be delivered to i-3 or BOLT.

Yellow Jacket calls the funny plug a T type, and I call it NEMA 5-20P. Either way it is a far better cord but either way Yellow Jacket seems to be the way to go for power extension cords. It is rated for 300 volts but U.

L. tested for 120 volt so therefore it has a lot of room for EV charging. I have pushed 29 Amp thru the 14 AWG Yellow Jacket so I know the 12 AWG Yellow Jacket is more than adequate and 10 AWG is going to be overkill but what the heck more safety room is good too.

Sometimes you just need a basic extension cord, nothing fancy. That is what this is. Heavy duty enough for most applications. Orange is a good color because it’s easy to see. Helps prevent people from tripping on them and leaving them behind on the ground because you couldn’t see it.

This is a nice light to medium-duty extension cord. The outer jacket seems to be well constructed. It has held up to alot of use. However, I did find the cord a bit stiff during our New England winter.

I have the 6feet power cord and it works for the length that I need without having all the extra cord. I was doing Christmas yard decorations and chose this length and it worked out well. The cord is a heavy duty and is good for out doors.

I chose this because of the color and it blended in with the decor. I had no worries about the cord overheating or being able to break easily. I have used these extension cords for two weeks and I can tell you they held up on my outside Christmas decorations amazingly and it was a wonderful size for front porch and plugging in my blow mold Nativity Scene but I am loving these indoors also.

I love the size of these for projects that you don’t need a super long bulky cord for but need something durable and quick to access and these are just that. I am currently using these cords in my sunroom to help space out my grow lights during the winter months for my plants and even after two weeks of daily use I would still recommend these cords over and over.

If you can’t hide your cords these look much nicer (and they work well). Color choices can help blend them in with your decor and the low profile plug means it can be used in tight places. May or may not matter to you but I can only charge 2 Apple devices at once as the Apple charging blocks are big and this has 3 standard receptors.

Good for items that don’t pull a lot of energy, not for 3 pronged appliances and not grounded but they are polarized (meaning your item can only plug into it correctly one way). I bought this 50′ extension cord to use when the power go’s out, It works perfectly to hook up our TV and also a floor lamp, plus the computer. It’s a heavy duty cord and should last for many years, I especially like the lighted plug that lets you know that you have power to the cord.

It remains very pliable and is easy to store and uncoil when you need to use it. Once uncoiled, it remains fairly flat on the floor or ground, depending where you are using it.

Review of 50 foot Iron Forge cable extension cord. This extension cord has a lighted outlet. The box said the cord was supposed to be red, but mine is kind of an orangish red. 15 amps. 125 volts. 1875 Watts.

3 wire grounded. This is an indoor / outdoor extension cord. This is UL-certified. It’s meets OSHA specifications. Made in China. Other than the fact that the outlet part lights up (see attached picture), this seems like a standard extension cord.

I would recommend this to a friend. Seems heavy duty. Overall four out of five stars.

This extension cord works great for my needs. I only have 2 outdoor outlets. One on my front porch and one on my back porch. When I need to use my hedge clippers, pressure washer or use holiday decorations I was limited on how far I could go and now I can do everything I need to do in either my front or back yard without having to stop mid project because I can’t reach.

it’s flexible and tough, the female and lights up when it’s plugged into a live outlet, and it’s made in America! This is a relatively low price for a 50 foot 12gauge extension cord. My main objection to this is that it’s some type of vinyl or polyvinyl chloride type jacket protecting the three conductors.

There is a very annoying and irritating odor in addition to being dangerous to human and animal central nervous systems, and as stated on the label is known to cause cancer (by the state of California, and others).

I let it sit on the roof of my car for about three days for most of the noxious smelling chemicals to off-gas. Now I’m using it in a barn with lots of air circulation, on a restoration job I’m doing.

I have 10/3 cords that I made 35 years ago from neoprene jacketed flexible cord with 250 V/30 amp connectors, and they are almost as good as new. They have been used outdoors mostly. and never had the same noxious, volatile chemical ingredients offgassing like this cord does.

I knew I wasn’t buying neoprene, and I’m not surprised that it’s a vinyl jacket. I gave in, and bought it because of the price and that it’s made in USA. I’m going to look into neoprene jacketed cable for my next extension cord.

Would highly suggest these! Had purchased some years ago, liked them so much had to have more. These are 6 feet long, 12 gauge wire, not the normal flimsy 16 gauge you get for 6 ft. cords. So often around the house you need a short extension cord, these are great.

Sometimes will hook one after the other if needed. Purchased 10 of them just to always have some available, using 3 right now on a project.

This cord has been awesome! Solar Power used to make a 6 foot extension cord called the quadnector with four outlets and it was made in USA. I have looked and looked and been unable to find that cord anywhere.

I gave this one a try even though it is made overseas, but so far I’ve been quite impressed. I especially love the fact that the outlets are turned 90° from each other so you can plug-in big cord ends without them interfering with each other and you are actually able to use all six outlets at one time regardless of the size.

This Philips 25′ 3-Outlet Grounded Extension Cord Outdoor Green is a really good size and it is really long. I use it outside in my backyard to hang up some outdoor lights on my fence (they did not reach the outdoor outlet) and I used the extension cord to hook up the lights so they could turn on for both during the day and night.
