20 Best Exhaust Manifold For 5.9 Cummins (2023 Updated)

Love these! Rather than dealing with flat flanges and gaskets, these are awesome! Not as pretty as a V-band but in my application, this was better than a V-band. Helped get all the angles right to clear my crossmember for my true dual, X-pipe setup in my LSX swapped C1500.

Exhaust shop said they are going to look into carrying them as well since they were so easy to work with. Recommend to anyone especially those with long tubes.

barely fits, but it fits better than the stock intake. it did work with my jake brake, which is a fitment problem for the banks brake. the sound at idle changed, which proves that its different air flow.

It filters great. i think i will buy an additional filter soon, just to be able to clean one while i let the other dry then keep it for a quicker swap. lots of gravel roads, also the pre filter is a great thing keeps the fins cleaner.

Fits very well took about 10 minutes to put in. The quality is great. If I had to be judgemental I would say the instructions on how they wanted it done where very hard to read maybe the printer was about out of ink and the pictures they used as examples were hard to make out of what you were looking at.

VERY surprised how much of a difference Ram Air made. I’m not talking about stock box that’s no brainier! I had a AFE the air filter was big enough to camp out in! Right on Gale.

Super easy to install! Directions were clear and straightforward. Not sure I’ve gained horsepower but I did notice a bump in MPG. I did also install the grid heater delete. I will have more opinions on it once I sort out my fuel tank leak.

The intake is versatile, efficient, easy to install and beautiful. Felt a difference in the pedal with just the intake. Love having pre-tapped ports perfectly aligned for nitrous, water, or methanol injection has me ready for next level.

It just looks cool with the red and machined logo.

Love the appearance. Installation was easy. Needed some technical assistance after the install and support was great. Since my truck was already chipped, exhausted, and had an aftermarket air cleaner setup, I can’t speak to noticeable increases in boost or mileage, but my EGTs do appear to be a bit lower, and I’ll take that.

My reason for installing the headers was because of my leaking stock exhaust manifold. Installation wasn’t easy, but doable by this shade tree mechanic. the easiest part was disconnecting the manifold from the down pipe which was done with an impact gun.

Installing the drivers side required the removal of the brake master cylinder to remove the oil dipstick tube. The stock manifold was dropped down beside the engine to get it out and the new header was brought up from the bottom to be put in place.

The passenger side was just a pain in the tail having to work around the EGR tube. It was was extracted coming out the top, making sure not to damage the fuel line, and the new header went in from the top.

Tip: go ahead and change your spark plugs while the exhaust is out of the way, so much easier. Everything bolted right up as it should and the new shorty headers look good hiding there in their hole.

Fixed my leaking exhaust problem.

When all is said and done, they work very well. included all hardware needed, tho i had some issues with some of the hardware. The included studs for the header-mid-pipe connection didn’t stop threading at the flat section and screws all the way through.

The Lock washers I think are unnecessary for this application as well. The EGR outlet position didn’t match up with the positioning on the stock exhaust, making it a little fight to get it tightened (and I don’t think I got it completely tight.

). I had to do some improvising. Just a nitpick, but I think these headers would have been a solid 6/5 stars if the portion that attaches to the engine was set up to match the stock exhaust. It would have avoided the need to remove anything you wouldn’t need to remove with the stock exhaust.

I’ve never had to remove my oil dipstick tube, and being that my car is pretty dang old It just would not budge. I ended up having to cut the thing. Overall tho, great set of headers. They can take a good amount of time to install however, mainly due to having to disconnect other systems.

I think that could have been avoided tho.

First off, I have an 02 v6 with about 94,500 miles on it. My car had the classic crack in the stock manifolds, which caused major vacuum leaks. The car was purchased with this problem, so comparing these parts to stock isn’t really valid in this case.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU PURCHASE: 1, if you live in the rust belt like I do, you should have a shop install the parts. You will break the bolts that hold them to the engine block, and unless you know how to weld to get them out, you’re screwed.

2, my EGR tube fractured from the rust. So if you are replacing the manifold with anything, anticipate needing another EGR tube ($85 from Ford) 3, these parts take longer to install than standard manifolds, so expect to pay more in labor.

It took my shop 5 hours due to the situation with rusted bolts, and getting them out. 4, if this is the only mod you are doing, you probably won’t notice much difference. The sound is *slightly* more growly with on otherwise stock car all around.

Ultimately, what you’re paying for is something more shiny under the hood, and the potential for better sound with other mods. If you actually can do it yourself, I’d say that the extra $100 over stock replacements is worth it.

Putting this on a hoist for installation is the way to go. 2 hours for install. 10/10 quality and easy fit to car. First thing you notice is that the pipes are much wider than factory (more power). The sound these cat-backs give is freakin’ awesome.

4/5 loudness and I would compare the sound to a Borla exhaust, its deep and rumbles. A little bit of drone, but nothing that isn’t manageable with music turned on. Kooks is a great brand and a lot of people swear by it, so I went with it.

I put the value at 5/5 but I did buy them on sale here for $544. The one thing that did “stand out” to me was that these tips stick a couple extra inches out from the rear diffuser compared to the factory tips.

We pounded all of the connections in with a rubber mallet, so it seems it was designed that way. I may trim them down an inch or two where the tips clamp to the muffler, but we will see if it grows on me.

Regardless – great set of cat-backs and really, really well constructed.

My wife and I set out to find the perfect set of pipes for our convertible. “Perfect” to us was the sound of a custom Saleen setup with those nice notes and tones, no rasp, no ping, none of that rice burner buzz.

BUT – we wanted a little bit more aggressive growl down low in the RPM’s with solid rumble as you open the car up. Zero drone was required when the top was down. We thought stock was “ok” we just wanted to turn stock up a few notches.

These pipes have it all! At idle they sound like a V8 – deep melodic rumbling. without barking – there’s nothing obnoxious about them. Stop on the accelerator and you KNOW you have a custom set on – loud but nowhere near racing style.

Like, you can put mom in the car and she won’t complain about the noise. Deceleration was an added bonus – no pops or cracks in back – instead you get a super cool musical gurgle – it really is cool.

At highway cruising speeds of 50-60 the sound is gone – as quiet as stock with the top down. If you are looking for a really sweet sound that focuses on tone and melody and not on decibels and rasp – this is a no brainer upgrade over stock.

(Next to an expensive factory “tuned exhaust” option on a new 2016 Camaro or a factory “tuned exhaust” option on a 2015 Stingray – this is much deeper sounding and more musical in the resonance tones / notes.

I noticed no one has really given a detailed review on these yet so I’m going to give a pretty lengthy one. First install: install is pretty straight forward if you are doing it yourself. It took me about an hour but I had a lift to put it on for the install.

They fit as well if not better than the factory exhausts to it’s a simple bolt on install. Quality: these exhausts seem to be a very high quality product that will last a LONG time. I just got mine so I can’t really speak to it yet.

Performance: When taking the factory exhausts off and swapping to these, you can tell that they are significantly lighter weight which is great. Also the piping has less “kinks” / is smoother than factory allowing air to flow less restricted.

I did feel a small performance gain after install. Sound: to me, these are the PERFECT exhausts in tone and volume! They have a very deep classic muscle car tone, they don’t get that obnoxious raspy note.

Volume is significantly louder than stock but is not overbearing when driving and there is 0 drone on the highway. So you can enjoy the new sound when accelerating but don’t have a mindnumbing noise the whole time you’re cruising.

I highly recommend this product, I don’t think I could be happier with my purchase.

If you are looking for a quiet exhaust this is not for you. Videos do not do this exhaust sound justice. Overall this is exactly what I was looking for, nice rumble and great sounding in higher rpms.

Install took a few hours after fighting and cutting out the stock bolts from the factory y pipe flange. If you are in the northeast where roads are salted heavily, do yourself a favor and grab a grinder or cutoff wheel and some new bolts.

There is a bit of drone at highway speeds, but this was expected and is not overly prevalent to me. Packaging was a bit mediocre however, and some of the powder coated parts were scratched up and a small dent in one of the exhaust tips.

Not a big deal to me as this is a truck after all, and will be eventually beat up a bit from normal driving. Overall pretty satisfied at this time.

This is my second aftermarket exhaust setup on my Jl wrangler so my review is going to be based on comparison of this and the dynomax dual tip muffler. When I say this has no drone I mean absolutely none! The dynomax muffler had drone, my old tj with no cat has drone but this, no drone! It’s loud and throaty when you punch it and super quiet at idle.

As a matter of fact the Idle is so smooth after installing this I can’t feel the jeep running. Runs smooth. So basically it’s a quality exhaust setup all around. It’s quiet and loud exactly where you would want it to be, along with better performance.

I ended up cutting my old muffler out because it was stuck so it made for an easy installation. Used a reciprocator saw and a hack saw to cut it as I have the two door. Pieces slid right into each other like a glove.

Took about an hour 1/2 max.

Just installed the MBRP Pro cat back, I’m giving this 5 stars because I love it as far as the product itself. -It’s a high tuck system, so you won’t bash it on any rocks or trail debris. -Sounds great! Not super loud, but gives a deeper rumble and a little pop if you’ve got a manual trans and engine brake.

-Saves a lot of weight too. This whole system weighs about the same as the muffler alone on the stock system. -Great material. High quality 304 stainless will last much longer than stock pipes and a lot of other aftermarket options.

Now for the bad. The only bad is the installation being a little difficult. I didn’t watch the entire video, so it may be mentioned in there. But the 2 door and 4 door version are the same package. So if you have a 2 door, you will have to cut the pipe.

There are cutting instructions included, but this is still an extra step I wasn’t expecting. If someone was expecting a simple bolt-on and didn’t have access to certain tools this could stop them from being able to complete the install, so just a heads up.

You should know that going in. The other rough part of the installation is how tight it fits. There is a lot of maneuvering to get it in place perfectly. It’s a high tuck system, so it’s kind of expected – but it is difficult with one set of hands.

Especially the union over the rear axle and the last exhaust hangar near the bumper. May want to have exhaust hangar pliers and a small pry bar. m handy. All that said – it’s a great sounding system made with high quality materials for a great price that does exactly what it claims to do.

The install was a little rough, but I’m not letting that influence the review because all high tuck systems like this are kind of difficult. I just wish the cutting step was mentioned on the main page simply because this isn’t exactly a bolt-on at that point and could be a deal breaker for some people.

Easy install and it looks and sounds amazing. Nice deep rumble on startup and when you mash the pedal it comes alive. No highway drone and turns heads all the time. Perfect sound if you want something more from your truck without the obnoxious noise/drone.

Nobody expects a truck to sound this good. The customer service staff at banks had the exhaust to me in no time at all and were super helpful when I reached out.

Installed Banks headers and Catback system on my 2006 F150 Crew Cab 5. 4 5. 5 bed. Noticed maybe a little bit more power unloaded but nothing mind blowing. I then hooked up my bumper pull tt and went to the mountains to check it out and that’s where it really shinned.

Totally glad I did that mod.

Excellent install!!! Easiest exhaust I’ve ever put on any vehicle I’ve ever owned My goodness it’s quality I did a lot of research for I bought this I knew the banks was the one for me!!! Like another customer said on here worse part was taken off the old stuff, but sawzall made quick work of that!!!! Made recent trip from Washington State to Nevada and back again almost 1 mi per gallon that I could tell check in my mileage, and it sounds almost like stock until you get on it to pass somebody yeah great sound too!!!.

This Cat back system mounted perfectly using stock hanger points. Polished muffler and chrome tip. Balance is unpolished stainless. Very nice conservative sound. I removed a MBRP system that had to be modified to fit and was louder.

This BANKS system has at least as good performance without annoying the neighbors. Love it.

The install was done by a qualified shop, on a lift which made it so much easier. The fit and quality is excellent and the sound is incredible. These arent break the bank LTH and are well worth the price.

No codes after uploading the tune so we are good there as well. i shouldve done this long ago and cell phone audio clips do not do it justice. Do not waste your money on cheap Ebay junk. The only negative was mine came with coarse threaded bolt and it requires fine threads, Shop was prepared for that as they hae seen it before and had plenty.

Highly recommend shop install unless you have a lift.

I just finished the installation of the BBK stainless long tubes along with the x-pipe with high flow CATs. The fit was perfect but beware of the following: 1) The most disappointment came when I started the car up.

The AM websites states the following: “Recommended Upgrade. To realize the full power potential that these Long Tube Headers have to offer, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune with a Handheld Tuner to reprogram the Pony’s computer (ECU) for proper operation.

” When I started the car it is running so rich that it can’t even be driven, Black smoke is pouring out the back and when you lift the gas pedal you get a snap crackle and pop so bad that you think it’s about to blow up.

Contacted AM to be told that a Tune is not recommended but required. BEWARE, YOU APPEAR TO NEED A TUNE. 2) If you watch the AM video for these it will warn you that it’s going to be a job. It will be as you need to rock the engine to get enough clearance to get the old out and new in.

For the drivers side you should not need to remove the motor mount from the block but on the passenger side, you need to along with pulling the starter. 3) The flange plate on the x-pipe which connects the x-pipe to the header does not give enough clearance to get a box wrench on the nut.

If they extended the flange plate just 1/4″ more on either side you would be able to. If you don’t have a lift, good luck as I can’t imagine doing this without one. The fit however is great. I now need to get the car running to be able to experience it.

It sucks that I can’t drive it after spending an entire weekend working on it.

Had these installed when car (2011) was new. They rusted out (nature of mortal things) and I replaced them in the last year or so. Had them installed by a local auto shop and it wasn’t expensive in my estimation.

The Mustang (V6) certainly gets better mileage; I have not checked the horsepower rating, but have no doubt it’s better as well.

Amazing sound. Looks great. I got the chrome ones and at about 85 outside, you can feel the heat in the front fenders. They get hawt. If I could do it over, I would have bought the coated ones. I will probably get these coated because they are baking my engine bay.

Happy with the purchase though. With long tube headers, cams, the shorty x pipe, and muffler delete, my car sounds pretty good imo. If you have the money and patience, do your header instal with a BMR k member.

It made the job so much easier.

I installed these headers myself along with an off-road X pipe to save the cost of labor and just to have to peace in mind of a job done right instead of choppy and quick by in and out shop people. Not that all are bad, but I appreciate and am proud of my belongings, so take care of things myself.

They look great under the hood, a subtle bit menacing appearance. When the car fires up it’s a totally different tone, way more throaty and higher flowing exhaust. To me it gets more off a 60’s muscle car kind of sound, depending on the rest of toe exhaust set up of course.

I title this review “think twice” because I lost a lot of money over this deal. To make a very long story short, from my experience and in my opinion the preloaded/custom handheld tuners you hear all about are a real joke and will not deliver the results you want as it is Norbert an actual CUSTOM tune to your own car in its unique way.

You definitely want to make sure you have good spark (good plugs and foood coils, because you could loose a lot of high end power and could face issues such as detonation at high RPM and loss of power under a heavy load if you’re wanting to have some fun.

Just take my word for it I’ve done a lot of research, and have found out myself, the hard way. A custom tune by your nearest dyno shop is your best bet. Plain and simple, no that my car is running great and I can enjoy the new upgrades to my car, it feels like you’re driving a monster.

Cams to come in summer. My car currently is only equipped with These BBK long tunes with off road x pipe, SR performance 24k volt coils, and a custom dyno tune. My car runs amazingly and fires up every single time without a hesitation, and man does it sound amazing, headers were very nice quality, definitely worth the money.

Very impressed by welds and quality of steel construction, these aren’t cheap quality knock offs.

Installed these and the BBK x-pipe and look great! Fit was a little tight. Used a strap to wrap around the flanges of headers where they bolt up to x-pipe (to bring them closer together) and the x-pipe bolted up perfectly! Definitely had issues with flanges of headers being bent from shipping (they don’t pack these headers very good).

Was able to bang them back into shape though.

Product was purchased based upon cost and reviews. Installation was easy for me, took longer to get the old exhaust system out. New muffler and system hung perfectly in place of the original using the factory hangers.

The only installation issue I encountered was clearance between the downpipe and automatic transmission(47RE) cooling line. The fit is snug between the transmission line and frame rail, so I chose to have it touching the transmission cooling line.

I plan to either add some heat shield/chafe tubing to keep it from wearing through and adding unnecessary heat to the transmission system. The other option would be to clearance the downpipe with a hammer.

This is the reason i only gave it four stars instead of five. Exhaust is still pretty loud, but much better at idle and cruise than the previous straight pipe system.

This was a easy turbo back exhaust to install on my 2nd gen ram 2500. I have an extended cab long bed and there was sufficient piping to route the system over the axle and line up all factory mounting locations.

They provided all hardware necessary for the install. The exhaust tone is just a bit louder at idle and through the rpm range, but not enough to be obnoxious in the cab or or on the highway. The vp44 Cummins engine is loud already.

My egt’s have Also been lowered since the install. I am happy with the value of this system.

I’m sure the company knows what they’re doing but the welds on the head just don’t look like they were. finished? The side that bolts to the actual engine look like welds I would expect to see but they also somehow look sloppy, uneven, squiggly even.

In the outside where the pipes actually protrude is just a channel around the tubing that looks like it should have been filled in with welds but wasn’t. I’m not able to test these headers out right now as there is an issue with one of the motor mount bolts that is apparently stripped and it’s in a location where you cannot see it so you cannot address it properly.

Ford is going to look into getting that bolt out and replacing it with a new bolt. I think that the kit should have came with bunghole caps for the O2 sensors just in case somebody wanted to run the car without them but in my case that’s not an issue.

Great quality product but it came slightly damaged. Not sure who dropped the headers but both pipes had indents on the flanges, where they connect to mid-pipes. The shop that was doing the install managed to hammer the flanges back to the normal position.

They swear they hadn’t dropped the headers. but someone surely did. either at a BBK warehouse or at a UPS during transit. The other issue was I had no idea I needed 2 pairs of sensor extensions. I saw the rear pair as ‘recommended’, so I got those.

When the shop installed the headers they saw right away one more pair of extensions was needed. So, I had to order them separately. The car pulls like crazy now. The sound is amazing. The BBK ceramic coated headers look GREAT.

I’m very happy with the purchase!.

SUMMARY: I had the 1 7/8″ headers, Catted X-Pipe shop installed and car Dyno tuned (Brenspeed in Tx did the work and the tune) and picked up 40 RWHP and 25 lb-ft RWT along with amazing sound through my Flowmaster Hush Power Axle-Back; and to my surprise, my fuel economy is 3MPG better.

WORTH EVERY PENNY. Breakdowns below for you on different aspects to consider if you want to read them. INSTALL: FIRST – Find someone that has actually done a few installs on an 11-14 Mustang. They need to know what they are doing and you will get a legit quote.

Expect to pay around $750 for someone that knows what they are doing. Any quote above or below that means they aren’t experienced at it. I had Brenspeed in TX do the install and a Dyno Tune for me (I do have life time BAMA tunes which have been good for me, but wanted to get the most I could without doing data logging sessions).

They did it all in one day no problem. A professional shop that has done this many times with all the right tools and a lift took 7 hrs. to install. Take that into consideration before you tackle the job yourself.

FIT and FINISH: Installer said they went on with no problem. However, BBK is the only manufacturer that uses a different bolt pattern (i. e. , some new and some OEM used to install) that requires a lot of attention to get right.

Additionally, for those with lowered mustangs, the collectors on my car (1″ drop front, 1. 75″ drop rear) are no only 5″ off the ground. For those that went lower, you may want to consider the higher priced Kooks that fit the same as the factory headers with regards to ground clearance.

FINISH on these headers is awesome, they look amazing under the hood and don’t discolor because of the Ceramic coating. SIZE: 17/8″ vs. 1 3/4″ LTH’s. Moving more air in or exhaust out means bigger is always better.

AM advises that the 1 7/8″ are for forced induction cars which is true that they are better for that. However, you a) will have to spend money to put these on later if you elect to force induce the car and b) with the right tune, the 1 7/8 work no problem for NA cars and you will get more power and better sound.

SOUND: I have a Flowmaster Hushpower axle-back. The sound is terrifying at WOT to anyone that is not a muscle car junkie; those that are will be so excited to hear it that they will need to change their underwear (I have to do laundry more often now)! Idle is deep and powerful.

No drone at cruising speed. Any touch of the throttle to accelerate normally (which is hard to do) yields a deep Nascar like sound that draws a lot of attention. be ready for it. POWER GAIN: Real and immediate! A totally different car that I have to learn how to drive again.

Great gains all the way through the power band. Low End requires additional throttle feathering to stop from spinning my 10″ wide wheels. Mid-Top End requires attention. With each HWY entrance, I roll past 100MPH so quickly now and my car wasn’t slow to begin with.

You really have to pay attention or pay the tickets. MUST DO: If you buy the Catted X-Pipe like I did, you will need to get some DYNOMAT Insulation and Heat shielding. The CATS no longer line up with the factory heat shields, they end up in between so you can and will feel the heat in the car without it.

This is not expensive and I highly recommend it. You just stick it to the bottom of the car. Consider yourself warned.

My guy at work has another diesel. Be believes in the classic as I do that was the reason for my Eco but and all the history and the ability to upgrade. The exhaust and a thurston chip literally I have 1000 in upgrades and just got a pedal commander not installed I’m lifted 315 and lift big bumbers and getting 24 mph and improve it pulls the grades in my area no one can out pull.

Except a real diesel but don’t want to send 50 for a strip model. Let’s just say hshe ribs like a rapped ape. I call mine the silverback. Trucks silver/black peace dodge bros.

The kit fit well, aside from being beaten around in shipping and some straightening needed to done. Sound wise it was a slight more rumble around 1500 RPM. I already dpf deleted so the sound was already there, I just completed the 4″ back system.

It does appear to hang low at the pipe exit behind the wheel but it is in the hanger properly. The hanger that attaches to the clamp in a nightmare if installing by yourself.

Good product easy install and looks good. For $388 dollars to my door step I feel like you cant go wrong. Exhaust tip looks nice way better then stock. Almost no sound difference then stock very little performance gains but I am still smog compliant soooo.

The exhaust system got here undamaged. The install was really easy with two of us working in our driveway. Bolted up as it should with some basic tools, only had to do some minor bending of one of the pipe ends to make it fit.

Chrome tip was extremely nice, and exhaust flows much better now. The sound is quieter than expected, with the truck sounding relatively like it had stock exhaust unless you are right next to the tip, but the truck it was put on was completely stock, no tune, had the catalytic converter, so I expect that would be normal.

Overall, a really great product that has noticeable flow increase on the exhaust system.

The order process was pretty simple, just need to know the basics about your rig. I talked to the really good diesel shop in town about the system, and whether i should put the exhaust on or get a tuner, simple answer, the exhaust has to be on first to get the benefits of the tuner! Installation was straight forward, little over 2 hrs from start to finish, I cut the old exhaust once to make removal very easy.

The system is just slightly louder than the original, looks a lot better! I will see how the power improves when I start towing the travel trailer, but I expect all around improvements.

Would of been perfect fit but I installed a pak brake( bought from DPP) so little modifications were needed. I choose to have a muffler and sound is still deep and throaty but not obnoxious. The 4in is a pretty snug fit if you’re running fast transmission coolers.

Glad the staff at DPP was able to help me choose what exhaust would be best!.

Loved the quality and fitment of this exhaust. Comes with everything you need. The exhaust itself comes made where welding isn’t required, but I ended up welding it in over using the Supplied clamps.

Sound is exactly what I was looking for. Solid manufacturing and great company to buy from.

Everything fit together well. had to modify a rear most hanger to fit my 1997 cummins ext cab long box. Truck still sounds stock which is what I wanted, not loud. The whole system cost what the local muffler shop wanted to replace the muffler and now the whole system is 4″.

About 3 hrs start to finish, cutting old system out with sawsall , we didnt over work ourselves. Had to buy a 12 inch chrome tip off ebay for $24 to get tailpipe outside the body Pleased how it turned out.

While removing the old system I thought there would be no way the 4″ pipe would fit past the front drive shaft and crossmember, but wow it had about half inch gap all around. The only things I would liked to have seen was clamps to hang the muffler on both sides of the pipe instead of just one.

I took some 1/2 bar stock and bent 2 hangers and welded them to the other side of the clamp like the ones on the clamp. This made the system very secure and less likely to settle. Would have been nice to have a hanger near the bellhousing like stock but I made one there too.

Over all the pipes fit perfectly and it isn’t to loud but sounds good. Cant wait to see if I pick up any MPG’s.

The kit was well constructed and fit well. Took a bit of time to get it aligned so that it didn’t come into contact with the drive train and transfer case/tranny support but worked out well. Everything came together nicely and the exhaust has a nice sound to it.

I am not big on a loud obnoxious sounding vehicle and I was pleasantly surprised with this kit. Price was really good.

The installation went fairly smoothly. I had to make a couple of hangers at the end of the pipe because they did not quite line up with the truck’s hangers but it is a solid fantastic-sounding system.

The truck responds noticeably better as well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!.

This exhaust fits perfectly. So easy to install. I recommend welding instead of clamps. This is a great deal on the quality exhaust you receive. Shipped to my house for free in 2 days. Very good communication and tracking to keep you up to date.

The exhaust delivers a beautiful tone without having to chip the engine.

The instructions are spot on! If you follow them everything will line up perfectly. Helpful hint here, spray the 3 sensor with WD40 or something like that the night before and you won’t have any issues with them.

The exhaust looks way better then stock, especially with the black tip. I have noticed a little more seat of the pants torque, a little bit more exhaust rubble sound, as well as improved MPG’s. And for all of those who pull campers, this is a must, the hot regen exhaust isn’t pointed directly at your camper.

All in all if I had it to do again I would hesitate!.

Banks was super responsive on the order process for sure!! Unit was easy to install, took about an hour for me and it was in! My 3500hd Duramax (2020) feels slightly more responsive at low end, gas mileage gains TBD and towing performance TBD.

I’ve only put 200 miles on it since installed. All in all though it looks great and adds to the truck definitely. No noticeable gains in MPG yet but I’ll know more when I pull my trailer soon. I’m glad to have it though! Nice job Banks!.
