20 Best Exercise Ball For Heavy Person (2023 Updated)

Came in a box that had need taped up like someone already opened it. The ball has permanent creases in it. When I attempted for. Refund they stalled and made empty promises long enough for the the case to close.

Easily inflated. Very good quality. Bands are a touch long for some exercises but great for overall conditioning. Well worth the money.

Good quality gear, not pristine but who cares about a little honest wear on a nice item.

I use these balls not only to exercise on but as a chair at my desk. They’re pretty sturdy (cats have forced me to buy two replacements in the last. 3? years), blow up to a decent size, and don’t require refilling often at all.

The included pump is crap though—we’ve used an air compressor to fill mine. That being said, if you have an alternate way of filling them (or A LOT of patience), I highly recommend it for both exercise and substitute seating.

My daughter is a college student and she loves this chair–how she is actively sitting and also because she has an old tailbone injury and this chair makes sitting for the hours she needs to, doable.

I wish the ball held up better. We are on our third. She weighs just barely over 100 pounds, so that should not be an issue. (The chair is a good height for her too–it’s pretty short!) I got Gaiam to give us a second ball when the first only held up a couple if months (somewhat begrudgingly with the warning that they would not replace it a second time!) but I don’t know why we are on a third already in under 2 years.

I have yoga balls that are 10 years old and still holding up. So: great chair, really comfy, great concept, but please see if you can make a more robust ball. the chair is a piece of plastic dead in the water without it!.

This ball is so universal. I love it for exercise and that you can use it to do wall squats and ab workouts. It’s also great for stretching and laying across to help your back. It also comes with some workouts you can try if you aren’t sure what to do.

Additionally, my son loves to bounce on it and it allows him to wiggle around while doing homework so he doesn’t have to stay in his chair. The one downside for me is that it gets dirty very easy and is harder to clean.

I still highly recommend this ball.

Honestly gofit exercise ball is good. I have to tried this ball for 2 months. This ball is great for whole family to use. It’s easy to use come with pump and exercise. There are many different types of exercise you can do to effectively use this ball such as sit up.

There are fun yet challenging way to stretch tone and tighten your body that’s great work. Just I’m enjoying this ball exercise.

As a fitness enthusiast, I’m all about incorporating stability balls into my routines. This has got to be my favorite one out there. BUT, I’m having trouble finding it online! I wanted to buy one for Father’s Day, and couldn’t find them in stock anywhere!.

This is a good exercise ball. I generally use it for stretching and balance. You’re able to use it for pretty much everything you need it use it for. The only issue I have is that it’s pretty big so it’s a little difficult to store when it’s not in use.

I haven’t used it much. But when I do I get a workout. It’s really good for maintaining your balance and working on your abs. The ball was a nice size and it definitely gives you a workout.

I looked extensively for a stability ball and this price is about 1/3 of the next best that I found for the exact same ball. The ball itself is strong and holds air very well. They include a tape measure that allows you to know when the ball is properly inflated.

That and the little white tool to get the plug out are definitely things you want to keep around as without them re-inflating will be challenging. The pump that is included is not great but at this price who can really complain.

They tell you not to use an air compressor as they can use cold air which can expand and pop the ball. However, I simply under-inflated the ball a bit when I used one, let it sit overnight to get to room temperature and finished inflating and had no issues.

That was far easier than using the pump that is included. The exercises on the ball are ones that I learned through my trainer and are some of the more effective ones with a stability ball. I can’t comment on the DVD as I have not used it.

We’re using this ball as a computer chair. 55 cm is a little short for an adult, but a good height for a 10-year-old student. It’s still tall enough for an adult, just a little harder on the knees than a larger ball.

The package includes a tape that can be placed around the ball. This makes it super easy to stay within the guidelines while inflating the ball to a safe maximum. It includes a manual pump as well. The pink color is great! This was a good value and a nice yoga fitness ball.

The ball comes with an exercise video, a small hand pump and instructions on how to inflate based on your weight and height. There’s a strip of material included to measure the circumference, but the strip doesn’t have any markings.

So, I ended up using a measuring tape. I tried using the small hand pump that came with the kit, but gave up after a few minutes and used the pump for the air bed. I don’t like to exercise, so I use this mostly as a seat while I watch TV or to roll the tension out of my back and shoulders.

It is a ball, and you can do exercises with it. (simple stuff and hard to mess up) It comes with a dvd with a few extra exercises demonstrated that were not on the glossy paper leaflet that came with it.

They were enough to get me started, the best info is on you tube. It also comes with an air pump. Works fine and easy and quick to fill. The ball is very firm, but seems to work fine, I am 5′ and 3/4″ tall and when the ball is fully inflated, my legs are not at the recommended 90 degrees when sitting, but not far off.

I left it that way thinking it might relax or loose air–it did not, but I use it as is still. If you are on the borderline of going to the next size ball for your height, I’d get the bigger ball. I like pink real well, but seriously wish it was white or something.

It seems a good value for the price.

I use this ball for everything! It can be used for supporting the low bag during an abs workout or in between legs for toned thighs and glutes. When using it on the reformer, it is a great head support when laying on my side while using the jumpboard.

I ordered this ball because I like to exercise at home, I tend to feel uncomfortable and judged in a gym so I like to do it by myself. This ball is is the perfect size and the perfect weight for me, I loved the quality, I have 4 kids and they love to play with it when I am not using it, and the ball is still in perfect condition, I love how thick the plastic is so I can feel comfortable exercising and know that nothing will happen to it.

I thought this was a mid size inflatable exercise ball. It is not, it is a small weighted ball that fits in two hands. I guess I did not read the description accurately:) I’m still rating it 5 stars because for what it actually is, it’s great!!.

Thought it was much bigger than this. Its the size of a childs jumping ball. It stated it held quit a bit of weight. I’m not sure if it does or not. I am sure its so small you cant sit on it as a grown adult to be able to find out.

When I was pregnant many years ago, a friend loaned me her exercise ball to sit on. I was super uncomfortable all the time, and that was the only thing I could sit on comfortably. I have also seen a lot of different excercises you can do using one and thought maybe it might help me build some more core strength.

I haven’t used one in over 13 years, but remember how much I enjoyed it and wanted one, so ordered this ball from Live Infinitely. There are a few different color choices, and I selected the bright green one.

You also have the option of different sizes. I got the largest one, 75cm, though the sizing guide said I should use the 55cm ball. I am sure it would be much more effective for me had I followed directions and used the sizing guide when ordering.

Since I wanted to use it as a chair for my computer, I did choose the larger size, though. The ball comes with a pump that you can use to manually air it up. You do have to pump it to get the air in.

Being such a large ball, it took me a while to get enough air in it before it was inflated. I kept having to switch hands to get it aired up entirely. But I was able to do it, with enough patience and effort.

The instructions tell you to inflate it to 80% capacity the first time, then wait 24 hours to allow the material to stretch, then fill it fully. It also comes with two plugs, so you have a back up plug in case you lose the other one, and a u-shaped tool to help you pull the plug out when you are ready to inflate it more or deflate it.

Once aired up fully, it holds its shape and air nicely, even if you bounce on it while exercising. It is just as comfortable as I remember when I was pregnant, and now I am using it purely for exercise purposes, though I do occassionally still sit on it at my computer to help improve my posture and ease my always aching back.

As for exercise, doing crunches on it is easy and pain free. Plus, it came with an exercise guide to help me figure out the different ways I could use the ball, as well as exercise videos you can access online.

I feel completely supported and secure when balancing on it. Though I am no small woman, I don’t have anything to worry about when using this. It can support up to 2200lbs, so there is plenty of room to spare! It is made from durable professional grade latex free PVC material and is anti-burst, so no matter what abuse you put it through, it keeps going strong.

Having the non-slip ridges around the ball add an additional element of confidence to my workout routine. Since getting this ball, I am already beginning to see improvement to my back pain and core strength.

I own a few exercise balls and enjoy using them with my children and grandchildren. This Professional Grade Anti Burst Tested Exercise Ball with Hand Pump by Live Infinitely is one of the larger ones I own, and the size that most of the adults prefer.

The smaller sizes are better for the younger ones, although they usually love it when they get the chance to use the bigger ones too. I bought the 75cm ball in grey. I would have chosen the purple but they were out of stock at the time I ordered.

The ball is a good size, so it took a little while to air it up, but my son inflated it for me without any trouble. Once inflated, we took turns using the stability ball for various exercises. I find that this size is also a very good size for sitting at my desk.

Although this or any similar item can be punctured, these anti-burst fitness balls are said to support up to 2200 pounds of static weight. Bouncing would lessen the weight limit to some degree, but I don’t think this would be a problem even with the crew at my house.

The pump that came with this ball could not be used. The hose kept separating from the pump. Fortunately I had the pump from my old ball that worked. The ball when blown up was shaped like an egg. It even gave us a few laughs when I rolled it across the room.

try rolling an egg. Learned my lesson, don’t by the cheapest item. I would return but postage would just cost me more. I guess you can tell. NOT Satisfied!!!!.

The ball itself is great! The only problem is the toy pump. I had to use my home air compressor to get it up to 65cm. The “Toy” pump leaks back after so much pressure in the ball. Could not get to 65cm.

Got this only because my twin sister has one; could try it out and see if it was something Id like. Hit a new milestone this year and even though Ive always stood when doing my work outs, sitting on the ball I felt was good for my core, less stress in my legs and knees, and its fun!!!.

I really love these. Sometimes I bring mine to work and sit on it as its supposed to be really good for your back and take some of the pressure away. Also good for doing crunches and other exercises.

As awkward as the picture above is these are a great alternative to a chair to work on your core and posture while sitting at a desk all day. I use mine to study and also for exercising! Lasts a long time and usually can get a decent deal on one.

believe it or not, i’ve actually bought 3 of these, so w/ a good deal of authority i can say these aren’t very good. First one, i popped it on the corner of my desk. i assumed it was my fault (and it may have been), but my experience up to that point hadn’t been great either – as the ball deflates rather quickly (even before it was popped).

Second and third one, i bought 2 – one for myself and one for my colleague and for several days we’d boht come in every morning and blow it up w/ the cheap pump that’s included. we’d get it nice and full, and sometimes within minutes, sometimes within hours, it would become notably deflated and inoperable.

after a couple of weeks of blowing the ball up literally 1x-2x per day, i’ve just decided to get rid of these and try to find another ball.

I often go to my regular gym to workout but due to my hectic schedule, i sometimes miss it. Was looking for a stability ball like the one I used in the gym, since it’s part of my regular workout, only to find it’s too expensive.

Good thing this was recommended by this site, now I am enjoying my workouts with this great exercise ball. Really worth it. 5 stars.

I bought one of these 4 or so years ago because I needed an exercise ball. This one was a great price and fun color, so I gave it a try. It comes with a pump and is easy to blow up. It has been used heavily and is still in great shape today.

You would still think it was brand new!.

I was looking for a good quality Iron Skillet. the Griswold #10 was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. used it 4 times already,having to adjust to not having the Teflon coating like on the cheap skillets.

but its worth the extra elbow cleaning needed after each use. I love it.

it would be nice if they read the product that i ticked instead they sent out a different make hence i had the hassle of sending it back .

Make sure you read the description for this ball. It is only 8” circumference and not weighted. I love the Bala product line. I purchased the 15#bar, hand weights and wrist weights and greatly enjoy them.

However, I am disappointed with this ball. Although, the rubber material is thick, it is overpriced for its purpose. I was so excited that Bala came out with an exercise ball, I wrongly assumed it was more like a 55 cm ball, etc.

So, without reading the description, I just added it to the cart and checked out.

The color is so cute. I finally used it and it supports me really well for my Pilates workout. It was very easy to pump with the provided inflator and the color (pink) is so cute … matches my bangles.

Only 4 stars because I did have difficulty gripping during my workout when I had to alternate the ball in different hands. It’s very smooth/slightly bigger for my hands. Also, the box looked damaged externally and the inflator was sealed, but when I opened it, it was very very greasy for some reason.

After searching for a long time for a Pilates ball to help with pregnancy and postpartum workouts all I could find were PVC versions, but then I discovered this Bala ball made from rubber and ordered straight away.

Love that it comes with the pump – that you could likely use for other items around the house. It does have a crease mark from shipping but I assume that will fade over time as it’s used more and more.
