I have VERY dry skin, to the point where no matter how much lotion I would use I’d still have dry flakes in my leggings when I would remove my pants. This thing is a game changer. I used it to dry brush my arms and legs and my skin has never felt softer.

I got this from my husband and was very excited to use it. I have tried it several times and it does make my skin feel very soft after uses. I did learn though that the synthetic bristles are not nearly as healthy for your skin as a natural bristle brush.

It’s a little pricey for a dry brush, it’s true, but the shape of the handle makes it so easy to use. That’s why I purchased it, it looked like it would be easy to reach those awkward places like the back and back of the legs, without being awkwardly long and difficult to use on the easier to reach places, and it is.

It’s so comfortable to use, so I actually use it all the time. Previously I found dry brushing could be awkward and a bit of a chore. The bristles are firm and even and remove the dry skin without feeling scratchy or harsh.

I feel like I have gotten everywhere on my body, quite effectively in minutes. I actually think it is more effective than other brushes I have used just in general because it so easy to use quickly and that I use it all the time.

If you like me, want the benefits of dry brushing without it being an awkward hassle or scratching and irritating your skin this is so worth the cost.

Previously used Eco Tools dry brush and had the worst experience with dry brushing. I never wanted to do it because it scratched me up like crazy, I now LOOK FORWARD to dry brushing because of how soft and effective this brush is.

I bought this to get my beauty loop box because I needed one anyway and it is much softer than anything you’d find in a pharmacy. I was initially worried about this but it works really well and is much gentler on the skin.

It fits in the hand perfectly too!.

Why has it taken me so long to start using a Drybrush? I didn’t mark that it was soft because it wasn’t and I don’t think it supposed to be soft it’s meant to be an exfoliator. I use it before I take a shower and it really has made a huge difference on the smoothness of my skin.

I live in a cold climate and all the dead skin that is supposed to shed often just end up trapped against my body inside inside my clothes. The bristles are rough but it’s almost enjoyable And the results really make it worth it.

The picture is a little misleading please know this is only one brush with a plastic massager thing on the other side. I’m not really sure what to do with the plastic massager thing but that’s OK the brush is great.

These kicking natural boar brushes are a nice set. The long handle makes it easy to use when showering/bathing. The brushes are firm but, not hard. Great price. Thank you Walmart.

I personally really enjoy using this product. I picked it up on a whim when searching for a body exfoliator at Ulta. It was very affordable, and judging by some reviews exactly what I was looking for.

I use this before every shower, starting with the tops of my feet, making upwards brushing strokes, all the way up my whole entire body. It takes about 30-45 minutes to complete depending on how quickly I do it and how much time I have.

I do find it quite hard to get my whole back, so if you have a partner I’d pick up one for them as well trying to get them into it to do each others backs lol I think it feels really good, like the best scratch ever but I did see other reviews from people saying it was painful and felt like it was cutting them or ripping their skin off.

I don’t know if maybe they have super sensitive skin and that’s why it was painful for them, but that has not been my experience at all. It is more scratchy than the kind of body brush you’d use in the shower, and the bristles are much longer as well.

When using I don’t push down with any amount of pressure, just light sweeping motions. I have really dry skin due to hard water, so I do tend to be itchy and go through a lot of lotion and body oil as well.

Even though I use this prior to my shower I still use a body brush in the shower on my whole body, especially before shaving, then using an exfoliating loofah (which IMO doesn’t feel exfoliating) it really helps get rid of all the dry skin and dead skin cells, but bcuz of the hard water I can’t go without moisturizing as soon as I’m out of the shower.

Dry brushing is a therapeutic technique that has been around for centuries. This particular dry brush has a handcrafted bamboo handle, is 100% vegan with synthetic bristles, and therefore creutly free. The bristles are soft enough to not harm the skin but tough enough to exfoliate the skin well.

It also has a comfortable handle that stretches for gripping needs. Here are some tips for how I personally like to use my dry brush. Start at the bottom of the feet on the soles, using long upward strokes and a medium pressure.

Then continue on to the tops of feet and the legs with same long, upward strokes. Always brush upward towards the heart. Never downwards. Continue onto the thigh and buttock and bikini area, and then mid section, sides, and back.

Brush one side of palms and extend up the arm all the way, then do the same to the other side of hand and arm. Dont forget back of shoulders and neck. The delicate neck and chest area can also be dry brushed, but with much lighter pressure, as this is a much more sensitive area with thinner skin.

This entire process, in my opinion, is best done nude, preferably before showering. Afterwards, I shower, exfoliate in shower, wash, and follow up with a good moisturizer! Alternatively, the dry brush can be used wet with an oil of your choice.

After use, hang up to air dry. Also, remember to periodically clean your dry brush to keep sanitary.

I haven’t stop using it since I bought it a month ago. Use it everyday at work.

Exceeded my expectations. It is convenient and easy to use.

This is an interesting product that I wouldn’t think is a necessary thing to buy. Nevertheless, I will try it and give my opinion about it. This is hard to remember to use but it feels comforting to me especially when stroking down the side of my left nose to cheek area.

Perhaps I have sinus issues there. It feels like a relief like I am giving care and attention to a part of myself that needed attention but I didn’t know what type of attention would be okay until this little dry brush came along.

My face started to look thinner over use when I remembered to use it. I guess it was flushing out something. It doesn’t say in the instructions but I feel like I need to continue the strokes down my neck on both sides.

I don’t feel complete without doing that. The instructions don’t say how many times to do the long gentle strokes but just a few times seems to make a difference to me. I like that the Tweezerman dry face brush doesn’t feel scratchy.

It just seems like added pampering. I am glad I was considered to be given this sample because I will continue using it and I want my mom to try it too.

I LOVE this little brush! My skin gets flaky in certain areas: around my nose, my chin, and between my eye brows 0. o If I wasn’t bent over my chrome faucet when I used this magic lill’ guy, I’d probably not think much of it.

But low and behold, after a few swipes, my faucet looked like it had gone thru a snow storm! I rarely feel like cleansers are enough alone, and am constantly exfoliating with abrasives and enzymes and acids.

But this brush has minimized my OCD. I’m getting a second to have in reserve! I do wish it came with a drying stand however. But that is the Architect in me.

I have a nerve disorder so my facial nerves are constantly firing. I was very reluctant to try this but am so glad I did!!! Takes maybe a minute to swipe my face before I hop in the shower and at night after I wash my face.

Liked it overall! But was disappointed by the fact it arrived with so many scratches and, oh, I forgot to mention some white spots on it.

This brush is great! I’ve needed one for a while and was apprehensive to spend extra on a well reviewed brush but I am so glad I did. It feels quite rough but surprisingly it doesn’t leave me super red afterwards and I have very sensitive Irish skin.

Its great for exfoliating the day before tanning as well as blood circulation and cellulite reduction. I have already seen a noticeable difference and have only used this twice so far (once a week). I also pair this with a firming lotion and am loving the difference in my skin, hair follicles and overall appearance! Wish I bought one sooner.

I’ve got KP and this body brush has helped to clear away the build up that AHAs/BHAs and scrubs can’t seem to get rid of. It really uncloged my pores, sorted out my ingrown hairs and just revealed the most smoothest skin.

It feels like my other bodycare products can now actually be absorbed INTO my skin (rather than sit on top). Be warned, the bristles on this are HARD so it may not be suitable for daily use.

I’ve been using this body brush for several weeks now it has helped my skin, I was starting to get some dry areas, guess its my age lol, and even after a shower and moisturising my skin looked dull and dry.

So I bought this brush to use before taking a shower, after the first tim I saw an improvement, now after these few weeks my skin feels softer and less itchy, I also found after brushing my skin tingled making me feel more alive, so I’ve started a routine of brushing my skin in the morning befor getting dressed.

This brush is brilliant the hand strap makes for easy use, the bristles are hard but not scratchy even if you use a heave hand, I love this brush.

It was too rough for my skin even when used very gently. Very painful. I would still recommend it for people with less sensitive skin as it is a well made brush. But I wish they had a warning that it is not appropriate for sensitive skins so I didn’t waste my money.

Have wanted to buy a dry body brush for a while, bought this one and I absolutely love it. It’s great quality, beautiful, sits well in my hand and despite the bristles being a tiny bit harsh on the first use it softened up and has left my skin feeling smooth, rejuvenated and supple! I use it once a week as recommended (with a small amount of dr bronners liquid soap).

I’ve used a lot of bath brushes over the years, but this one is the absolute best — so good that this is my third or fourth one 🙂 The natural bristles are nice and stiff — excellent scrubbing ability; I like this because every other brush I’ve tried has super-soft, wimpy bristles, often made of synthetic materials.

Not this one — it really gets the job done, and I feel wonderfully clean. Happily, it’s also a quite beautiful brush. You can see the gorgeous striped bamboo wood, and on the back of the brush is a lovely scroll pattern.

I’ve never had the rope loop disintegrate as so many others have. I replace the brush about once a year, when the bristles start going too soft for my liking. The only problem I ever had with this brush was my own fault.

I left it laying on it’s back, soapy and wet. Because of that the earth-friendly glue weakened and the brush parts separated. 🙁 I wrote to the company and explained what happened. The process was a little more involved than I’d have liked, but they did send a replacement right away, once I had satisfied their questions.

It’s a wonderful brush and I highly recommend it :).

Pros: Like everyone else mentioned, this brush is extremely strong and well made. Unlike loofahs that fall apart, this baby is sure to last. It’s easy to get a good lather, too and it scrubs everything off well.

Cons: Omg my skin. it’s way too rough unless you’ve got extremely rough, calloused skin and you want to exfoliate until you’re red as a lobster. It worked on the bottom of my feet, though. Great for after the beach or when your feet are dirty and dry from wearing rubber sandals in the summer.

But that’s about it. Be aware that the brush needs to dry completely in between showers, because its thick set of bristles grow mildewy very easily. Also don’t let the bristles get bent/crooked. It started to leave little scratches all over me.

So that + mildew. I ended up having to throw it away.

I was so delighted when I finally found this shower scrubbing brush. It’s got a wonderfully short, firm bristle that really scratches. it’s not soft like just about all the brushes sold in stores. I’ve searched everywhere for a brush with hard bristles that could really scratch my very itchy back and feel good brushing my whole body.

All the stores seem to carry very soft bristled brushes that do nothing. My nutritionist told me to use a brush in shower and brush upwards towards the heart to open the lymphatic system. This brush even gives those instructions and with the firm, hard bristles, the brush really feels like it will do the job of opening the lymphatic system by brushing the skin.

And the added plus is the all natural fibers and wood handle. Unlike other brushes, these fibers never seem to soften with age. It will last forever. A total win win and well worth the 10 price tag.

I read some other reviews here before purchasing and noticed some people thought the bristles were too harsh, but I’m glad I tried it out because I really enjoy the strong exfoliation it gives my legs! I hate using body scrubs in the shower because you have to use so much product and buying the plastic tubs along with whatever the exfoliant is made of isn’t very eco friendly.

This brush is the perfect alternative for me, and I use it pretty roughly on my sensitive skin and don’t have any issues with it being too rough! I use it on my legs and even arms and back and it feels great.

Highly recommend unless you have very thin skin! I think it helps with ingrown hairs too so I don’t see myself purchasing body scrubs in the future now that I have this :).

Love my Pipette dry brush! I use it almost everyday. It is high-quality yet affordable and has what – I think – is the perfect bristle texture. The tips of the bristles are soft to the touch yet firmer underneath, for an effective brushing that doesn’t scratch my skin.

I truly would not use anything else on my baby. This stuff is the best! It has the most perfect scent, not too overpowering but still noticeable. Even better, I know it’s safe for my baby!

Out of the 2 of these, I love the Jute one (brown). Its very comfortable to wear and the brand around the wrist is soft. My only complaint about the jute is that its seems to weaken(?) the more you use it.

I don’t know if thats the correct word to describe it. the colorful hurts like hades, lol. Its extremely rough. So the jute one is definitely the one you should start with if youre new to dry brushing.

I wish there was a pack of two jute ones.

I’ve tried many brushes and scrubbers and I really like both of these. I’m using the rough one for dry brushing and the other in the shower to wash with. Fantastic for my dry skin. Keeps me super soft and smooth.

I have been using this wonderful long handled scrub brush for a little over 9(nine) years. This is by far the best long handled scrub brush available. The cactus bristles are very durable. You will get many years of bathing pleasure as long as all soaps and body gels are thoroughly rinsed from the bristles and the brush is left to get a good air dry.

The hardwood handle holds up quite well. I have purchased a number of these superb brushes to have on hand in case they are no longer manufactured in the future. This is the ONLY long handled scrub brush that I will ever buy ! Happy bathing !!!.

Overall good. A bit of a nuisance when trying to brush my back that it comes apart. Wish it could be secured so that it stays on the handle until you take it apart.

Im so excited that Ive finally came across a dry brush that ticks all the boxes. Great look and quality, beautiful ergonomic design, bristles of the brush are made from cactus and not from animals! I also suffer from dry and bumpy skin on certain areas of my body, this is my first time dry brushing and Im already feeling and loving the effects.

I have severe anxiety and have used dry brushing techniques as a way to ground myself and relax. This version is a bit harsh/scratchy so it will definitely exfoliate. It’s affordable but… It’s recommended to use natural bristles and this brush has synthetic bristles so that’s a factor to consider.

Before you just start brushing, I’d highly suggest looking up the correct techniques so you get the most benefits and don’t damage your skin. I didn’t see any skin benefits besides smoother skin from exfoliating but the mental health/self care benefits were well worth it.

AMAZING! I didn’t know much about dry brushing prior to seeing this in the store but I always get dry skin during the winter so I figured it was worth the shot! I am in HEAVEN with it! My skin is so soft afterwards and I personally liked seeing all my dead skin flakes.

I love this Brush. I bought this brush because over the past 4 months I haven’t been able to fully bathe or shower due to having a drain connected to the side of my stomach, having surgery & the pain with all that, so my dry skin has been piling up and I haven’t been able to get as clean as I needed to.

Now that I’m better I tried soaking and scrubbing with other brushes but only this one did the job!! I dry brushed before I got in the tub I could see all the dead skin coming off and it was amazing I was so satisfied, I also used it while in tub and I could get feel the difference from before.

This thing work wonders and the good part was I didn’t even have to scrub super hard, that’s good because I already have sensitive skin. I would definitely but this again and gift it, I probably will just to have one at my parents house too.

exactly what i’d expect from yerba prima – and at such a great value!! yes, it’s stiff, but yes, it’s medicinal. it takes a little bit to get used to if you’re used to regular brushes with soft or medium filaments/bristles, but the deep cleaning is top notch.

my skin feels renewed and fresh afterwards when used with an organic and ayurvedic soap! i had shopped around for natural hard bristled brushes and this is bu far the best of them all. although i do skip using it on my face for a day every couple days or so, it seems that i’m not 100% acclimated just yet, but it could also be that i’m a bit thorough and ruff in that aspect, however, nothing feels better on my back and scalp – this is purely awesome!!.

I bought this brush to scrub my feet and legs in the shower as it has stiffer bristles. So far I am very impressed with low cost and superb durability of this item. I saw some other reviews regarding loose bristles but I couldn’t pull any out and was actually trying to.

There’s a few loose bristles from production but that’s all I could find. You can’t beat it for the price, great purchase.

I just started doing dry brush technique recently and had one brush that was fairly firm and not comfortable for all parts of my body. This body brush is more of a medium-soft so it’s great for someone just starting or someone with sensitive skin.

I also love the face brush. It is also very soft and gentle. These are perfect for improving the lymphatic system! So glad I purchased.

Not a good brush, comes in a huge container, looks good for a gift, but I buy and use many brushed, the is not an effective body brush. I brush everyday.
