20 Best Drugstore Anti Aging Eye Cream (2023 Updated)

When you hear about StriVectin you probably think about their famous neck cream, I know I do. StriVectin launched in 2002 on selling their brand on home shopping networks. The star of all StriVectin products is their patanted NIA 114.

And that’s why it’s found in every single one of their products. I started using anti aging products when I was 21 as a preventative. I’ve tried a ton of different products over the years. Most recently I was using Drunk Elephant’s C Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream and I loved it.

Until I started using the StriVectin Intensive Eye Concentrate Plus. I don’t really have wrinkles or lines around my eyes, but I can see the potential for them when I smile. And I do have the 11s, those pesky verticals one gets between the brows.

I guess I scowl a lot, or furrow my brow. vim super self conscious of this area and I judge a lot of products on how they effect this specific trouble area. My eyes are really puffy in the morning and I have the trademark dark circles from being overworked and underpaid, not to mention mention my frown lines.

I was gifted 5 amazing products by StriVectin, this eye concentrate being one of them, and I have to say, I am seriously impressed. The texture feels kind of thick and paste-like at first but once it touches your skin it seems to melt right in.

Added this product to my Strivectin collection because of the amazing results from other products. In less than a week my crows feet are barely noticeable. The horrible puffy bags under my eyes are finally not visible like they were and are diminishing more and more daily.

The dark circles are fading as well more and more daily. I’m extremely happy (let me re-phrase that) beyond surprisingly happy with this product! I use the Peptide 360 tightening eye serum first let it soak in then apply this.

Not sure I really need both but with the amazing results I’m using both and will not ever go without these two products. This is the first product that I’ve used for my nasty looking puffy under eye bags and dark circles that has worked.

I sure with I’d of found this many many products ago and lots of money ago that I’ve spent to get no results. I know for a fact the longer I use this, I will end up with no more bags or dark circles.

My eyes do not look tired and dull anymore already. They look brighter and refreshed. You can not go wrong with this!!!!.

This eye cream has risen to holy grail status at a meteoric race — I can’t believe this eye cream isn’t talked about more! I’ve been using this for a little over a week and a half and the lines under my eyes have SIGNIFICANTLY.

Prior to using this cream, I had huge problems with concealer settling into the lines under my eyes – I barely notice it after using this cream. The improvement is noticeable even without makeup — my under eyes look smoother, which makes me look more awake overall.

Additionally, this eye cream provides nice hydration under the eyes as well. I even like to pat the excess over my smile lines, where I’ve noticed improvement as well. I’m so glad I found this eye cream!.

The Dew it All eye cream by Farmacy claims it “minimizes the signs of stress and fatigue with chamomile and calendula and moisturizes with hyaluronic acid. It also helps visibly smooth and restore the appearance of elasticity” so I put it to the test.

I’m prone to looking like I’m going on a 3 month winter exploration with the under eye luggage I carry around. Add to that seasonal allergies and extremely sensitive skin and I’ve got the perfect combination to look like I’ve skipped sleep since the pandemic started.

At the price of it this stuff better work or I’m gonna go DMX up in here. The first thing you notice, after you notice the fact that if this bottle were driving it would be driving a big old jacked up Ram, is the consistency.

It is a very soft cream that spreads very easily. The first time I used it I may have over applied it as I stuck the tip of my finger in and came out with enough to do my entire family’s eyes. As I applied it I noticed it spread with ease.

After I applied it, I noticed that I had no reaction to it and my skin under my eyes felt soft. Hours later my skin still felt soft and it may just be me but I thought I noticed a difference in the amount of packing I did for travel.

I will continue to use and monitor the results.

I love this product for what it is. I personally need a hydrating eye cream to put on before my other products because my eyes can get very dry and irritated. So if you need a nourishing winter eye cream it’s great! Having hydrated and moisturized skin will soften fine lines, but nothing will permanently erase them, so make sure to have realistic expectations when using any products.

I use the Inkey List Caffeine in the morning for puffiness and this at night to hydrate. I am going to try other products, but I seem to always come back to this one. I received this in my fab box years ago and loved it.

I do go to other eye creams (cheaper and more expensive) and seem to always come back to this one. But again buy it for what it is and if you aren’t using other actives in your skincare routine then maybe try something else.

If you have dry eyes and need some nourishment this winter and it’s in your budget, you can’t go wrong.

As others have mentioned, this is a lovely cream that your undereyes will love. It’s light and absorbs easily. It’s one of my favorite eye creams consistency-wise. HOWEVER, I am shocked by how little product there is.

I’ve had it a little over a month and use only a small amount and I can already see the bottom of the container. I almost think this must’ve been a production error. Also, it would be great to change up the container.

It’s got a thin neck so you’ve got to get your fingernails into the product to get it out. I can imagine that it will be quite unpleasant trying to scrape out the remaining product as you finish it up.

I was finally able to try this moisturizer which I was crazy to try. The texture feels richly buttery on the skin leaving it very smooth and soft. By using it in the first two weeks I could see remarkable changes in the reduction of my pores and how healthy and hydrated my skin looks with a glowy appearance.

I have not noticed a decrease in fine lines, but with the level of hydration that it is giving to my skin, its possible that with the use they decrease. I use it by day and night and it doesnt feel sticky with the sweat and it is quite durable also I have applied makeup on top of it and it hasn’t cracked which is perfect.

I have sensitive skin and rosacea and hasn’t caused any breakouts. Its fragrance isn’t very noticeable which I appreciate because I don’t like very strong scents. The bottle is very nice, minimalist but with a luxury finish that looks beautiful in my collection.

I love it definetly will buy again, very recommended.

The. 5 jar took me 6 months to finish. It took the entirety of the jar to see improvements with my undereyes. Through daily consistent use of eye cream, when the jar was literally done, I noticed that my dark eyes had brighten up.

What I noticed was that even when I lacked sleep and woke up feeling tired, my undereyes were not as dark as before. Texture-wise, the eye cream goes on smoothly and did not have a smell. Hydration-wise, the eye cream provides adequate hydration during the summer and fall.

I don’t think it would provide enough hydration for the undereyes for dry skin in the winter. Overall, I think the eye cream is average for its price. There’s nothing special about it for me. I personally would not buy this eye cream again because it took me 6 months to see slight improvements and it is not hydrating enough for my skin.

On the other hand, this eye cream might be more effective for those in their twenties who have normal skin and only worry about dark undereyes. However, one still has to use the eye cream daily (day and night) to see improvements.

Confidence in a cream is a awesome anti aging cream I use morning and night. When you open it You will find that the cream is almost a peachish color like the container it’s in. It kind of has a stronger smell but not harsh enough to give u a headache.

All you need you is a little on your fingers because it spreads so well. it’s a Light cream that doesn’t leave a oily sensation on you. Once you rub it Into your face you will notice a huge difference in your skin.

I get dry skin specially during winter and this saves my skin. This cream is not only for the face its for face neck arms ect. Once the confidence in a cream absorbs into your skin it comes back to life.

Now it does say it helps wrinkle but I honestly havnt seen much of a difference. I know i know Some of you will look at my profile and say well you’re 30 years old you don’t have wrinkles but because of my disease it ages me quicker sadly.

So I’m definitely always looking for the best wrinkle cream but still I love this cream and will keep buying it.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me right? I previously ordered plum eyeliner which is so hard to find, but it was dry and no “hack” was able to make it usable. Of course you can’t return it.

strivectin products are great, they really are but this product caused redness and dry flaking skin on my eyelids. I’ve never in my life had a bad reaction such as this to a skincare product. I’ve had some be too oily, so I got pimples.

I’ve had products that just don’t work. Some have smelled bad and some I don’t like the texture of. But I’ve never before ever had any product, not even a product from the dollar tree do this. My hypothesis is that these were originally samples that were GWPs about 15-20 years ago, and instead of disposing of them zulily got a hold of them for practically nothing, maybe like 5$ each and then is reselling them.

Either way, this product is old and you can’t return it. Don’t buy it from zulily.

Another unpopular opinion here, I was disappointed. I have read so many reviews praising strivectin products so I was super stoked to try them but I have to say in the eye care product arena I was not impressed.

This product isn’t all bad but it’s just not my holy grail. Pros: It is moisturizing,It has almost a shimmery aspect to it that reflects light. Cons: Did nothing for my fine lines around my eyes, Didn’t help with puffiness, I found the product did not work well under concealer, Pretty heafty price point for a 30 ml tube that is only good for 6 months.

Product separates in the tube so make sure you shake before use. Overall I would not purchase again because I feel like there are cheaper options out there that will do the same. Honestly my face cream will probably do the same.

If they had a 15 ml bottle for cheaper. maybe. to see if there are long term benefits, but I have been using for 4 months and haven’t seen any change. Honestly to have a 6 month POA and only sell in 30 mL tubes is overkill.

The eye area is so small to use 30 mL in 6 months you need to be using a lot twice a day. If you put too much of this product on your eye it can pill when putting on your makeup. Too much product does not absorb well.

It’s been slow going but this is truly working for me. I had deep circles that came in with age and nothing was working or it was making me break out. This however , worked gradually, first helping my lid area , then getting rid of fine lines and wrinkles to then smoothing the under eye and finally evening out circled and reducing my under eye darkness – I still have what couldn’t be covered with makeup now can.

I have been using this morning and night for 6 weeks , still have plenty left in the 1 Oz tube and I plan to keep going. That said we are all different , I believed my under eye to be age related die to a loss of volume which there is little to come back from but I just wanted to give one product a full on chance and I am reporting that for me it’s working! I don’t know if I am at full benefit yet but if so I am pleased.

Have been using this green gel for years. Love it! When others have asked what products I use to tame the wrinkles. (I am 72 years young 😉). I tell them about the green retinol gel, sold at Sally’s. I frequently see one of these gals (who was quite wrinkled).

This retinol eye gel is totally amazing. It’s green in color and has some kind of little beads mixed inside. My little secret is keeping it in the fridge, so when I apply it under my eyes, it’s so cool and refreshing.

It litterly helps with bags and you can feel it tightening under your eyes and above your eyes, win win.

Was just running out when Sally’s offered this free with purchase of 6X Serum. Morning & night it puts such a luxurious touch to delicate skin. Worth regular price in spades. When in combo with other high quality products, it’s not to be passed up.

I don’t typically use product on my face as I’m prone to rashes, as I have sensitive skin – especially around the eye area. I received a couple samples and was extremely doubtful that I’d notice any difference, and was pretty sure I’d feel the usual burning sensation from having product on my skin and have to wash it off.

I was surprised that it didn’t cause any sort of reaction whatsoever, even after several days of use. I noticed a visible difference after the very first use – like there was more volume to the skin around my eyes.

I’ve tried a lot of products over the past few years but nothing has had this type of effect. I ran out of samples and bought the 1oz tube along with the face cream and neck cream today. Haven’t tried the face cream yet, but highly recommend this eye cream as well as the neck cream with the yellow lid.

2 weeks in I am noticing tiny breakouts, pimple like blemishes on my cheeks and under my eyes. I continued to use, just less often as I like how my skin looked from using it. LIFTACTIV RETINOL HA CONCENTRATE – This is my favourite of all of the Liftactiv creams.

This is light and you can use sparingly to cover a large area and left my face smooth like silk. LIFTACTIV SUPREME DAY MOISTURIZER – The day cream is thick and rich and so far has not broke out my skin.

Nothing overwhelming in the smell area but took a while to absorb into my skin. Left my skin feeling soft all day even after applying make-up LIFTACTIV SUPREME EYES – Applied daily to my aging, tired eyes.

I feel like it helped fill the lines and help with the puffiness under my lids.

And sometimes “just good” is worth it. I have been using this cream for about 5 months now. This eye cream absorbs quickly, sits well under makeup, and I have never felt like the skin around my eyes is dry.

I’m also only about half way through the bottle, and I’ve been using it for 5 months. So if you’re economical and are having a hard time justifying the price, just know a little really does go a long way.

I say it is not great because apart from being a lovely eye cream, I don’t feel that it is proactively reducing dark circles or fine lines. Maybe it is preventing them from getting worse, but only time will tell.

Part of me does feel like an eye cream priced above $100 should proactively do something to make me more confident without makeup.

I can’t believe Chanel placed it’s name on this new reformulated cream. I’m referring to the product in the new frosted pink glass packaging. Yes, the jar looks nicer. I’ve been using Chanel eye creams religiously for almost 20 years.

I’ve used other Chanel eye and skin products off and on. I started using Le Lift in my late mid 20 simply because it was one of a few eye creams that never irritated my eyes. I have sensitive eyes and Chanel eye cream and makeup remover worked like a dream.

Le Lift was reformulated in the past but nothing like this. The new version has a horrid faint odor, I usually don’t mind if my skin care smells floral, citrusy, spicy. but this is disgusting. The old version glided on, was silky, absorbed immediately, kept me wrinkle free like nothing else.

This new version will not glide, its extremely sticky. My finger pulled my skin as I applied the cream and the stickiness never went away. It felt as if I applied Elmers glue that never dried. After a few minutes my under eye area and upper lid started to burn as if on fire.

I was about to run to the bathroom to wash it off but thought to push through and hoped it only lasts a few minutes. It lasted for about 15 minutes, subsiding to a mild discomfort which never went away.

Before the application my under eye was wrinkle free, but after I found 2 semi-deep lines under each eye. I’m turning 40 soon and planned on adding more Le Lift products to my daily regiment but no more.

Le lift eye (old formula) kept me wrinkle free until now. Unfortunately after almost 20 years it is time to say good bye to Chanel and hopefully I’ll find an equal or close to an equal replacement. This new formula equals a $10 drugstore brand cream.

I hope Chanel brings back the old formula even as an alternative or at a higher price. I’m willing to pay an extra $50 for the old but the new is being returned.

I’ve been using only Chanel for 30 years, the skincare, cosmetics & Chanel No 5 of course. The Le Lift line is excellent for mature skin over 50, though I like the Hydra line I decided to switch when the wonderful Lady at the Chanel counter advised me too.

It doesn’t just moisturize, but also makes fine lines disappear & the skin is revitalized. I just bought this eye cream and I’m beyond pleased with it. It gets rid of wrinkles, dark circles, puffiness like magic, but most of all I love the way it absorbs quickly, it doesn’t sit on your skin or feel greasy.

It also doesn’t sting at all or make your eyes water if you have sensitive eyes. Wonderful for makeup application right away & perfect for the humid climate I live in. I use a little dab with the applicator (always a big plus so the cream doesn’t get contaminated by sticking fingers in the jar) in the mornings and a more generous amount at night.

The jar is heavy, beautiful as Chanel always is, and a little goes a long way. If I could give Le Lift 10 stars. Chanel never disappoints!.

Visibly reduces signs of aging including wrinkles, loss of firmness, and dryness. This is a light, easily spreadable facial cream. I like the fragrance, it disappears soon after cream is applied. This cream is very, very moisturizing.

A small amount is needed and is easily massaged into skin. I noticed my skin was smoother and more taught after just my first week. It did seem to smooth out fine wrinkles in the corners of my eyes. My deeper lines are so depressed that a more powerful concentration will be needed for those and I believe the night cream with retinol is helping.

I will let you be the judge of that in my pics. I am in my 40’s and I should have taking care of my skin since my 20’s, however, I have been doing the polar opposite; so now I pay. This also means I need a powerful regimen and the day, nor night Loreal creams I received have powerful enough percentages for what I need to rewind the hands of time.

However based on its thick yet weightless and non-greasy formula. Combined with its affordability (less than $20/jar and a healthy sized jar. I definately give it an 8/10 and would/will (undecided) would use as the finishing layer over a stronger retinol.

I upped my sunscreen while using this cream and was surprised it had not formulated this cream without any. Also I really dislike the fact that the 35+ version has collagen yet the 45+ doesn’t. A side note the age groups it comes in are 35+,45+ and 55+.

I was thrilled to receive a complimentary jar of the @lorealparis wrinkle expert anti-wrinkle moisturizer day/night from @chickadvisor. I have struggled to find a product that moisturizes all day yet works on my skin to promote firmness while reducing wrinkles.

While I have just received this product the one thing I can say is that I love it. It is light weight and creamy it is not greasy on my skin. It is the perfect base for my makeup. My skin absolutely felt hydrated and softer.

The company claims that I will see visible firmer skin in 2 weeks and fine lines and wrinkles will look visibly reduced after 4 weeks. While I am not at that time frame yet. I am hopeful this will be the answer to my dry aging skin prayers.

I would prefer that it did have had at least a light scent, but there was none, which I’m sure some people would prefer, but I like a soft calming fresh scent. The jar is cute, but I wish it had been bigger, like what you get from other product review companies, where you get more of a reward for the effort you put in.

It is a thick enough constancy where it didn’t easily pour out of the container, but not so thick that it took too much effort to blend into your skin. It was very moisturizing, but soaked into the skin fairly quick.

It wasn’t greasy, so no need to worry about it staining your bedding. I did notice more brightness to my skin, and that it helped minimize my lines around my eyes, which is fantastic! It didn’t irritate my eyes at all, even with putting it up to my lash line.

I have dry eye issues, and many moisturizers make my waterline burn, as well as my eye itself, if the moisturizer gets that close, or in my actual eye due to rubbing my eyes, but this moisturizer did not.

I have been using Clinique Smart Clinical Repair Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream for about two weeks beginning only using on one eye at night for the initial four days then I started using it twice daily on both eyes.

Upon opening the container, my attention was drawn to the opaque-fleshy colored cream, that felt thick and rich to the touch. The fragrance free formula smoothed onto the skin and was quickly absorbed, leaving the area feeling hydrated and refreshed.

I applied the cream twice a day for a total of ten days. Though, I can not say that I noticed instantaneous results, I can honestly report that after the ten day period however, I did noticed that the puffiness and swelling has come down and the uneven skin tone (dark circles) have also began to diminish.

The area around my eyes feels very silky smooth to the touch and have become noticeably brighter. That being said, this was not an instant fix and with everything else in life, results may vary from person to person.

However, this product has a higher potency retinol that my skin needs right now. Since this a higher concentration of retinol I decided to use it every other night to start off. I apply it on my face and neck massaging my skin for 10 mins before bed.

My skin looks amazing in the morning. Feels so smooth and extreme softness. My tired skin looks fresh and brighter. After using it for a week, I saw my fine lines appear to be minimized. My skin actually looks healthier and very hydrated.

This kit provides a lot of hydration to the under eye. It is cooling when you put the strips underneath the eyes. The skin under my eyes were quite dry, however once I started using this product there was an immediate difference.

After using both eye treatments for a couple of months, I came to realize that the nighttime eye irritation i was experiencing was caused by the P. M. formula. When using, my eyes burn and tear mercilessly throughout the night.

I used a sample size of creme for about 2 weeks. I did not notice much difference so far. This creme is in beige color with no scent and the texture is very light which I like. It is easy to apply and absorbs well.

Maybe the time is just too short to notice much difference yet. I like most of their products but not all. I think this eye creme is just ok at least did not irratate my eyes but not standing out compared to the other eye creme I have used so far.

I have been using Retinol for years and have built a tolerance for it. I DON’T have sensitive skin have have NEVER had an adverse reaction to any skin care product. This eye cream has totally ruined my under eyes! It has actually created deep wrinkles under my eyes (which were never noticeable before) and left my eyes VERY dry! I now look so old! I used it for 1 ½ months thinking it was shedding my under eye skin to reveal smooth skin…nope! It just looks so much worse and my eyes have never looked more wrinkled than now! In fact, I barely had under eye wrinkles, now my eyes have DEEP wrinkles!!! I’ve since stopped using this cream 2 weeks ago, but my eyes are still deeply wrinkled and terribly dry.

I don’t know how or IF my under eyes can return to their state prior to using this cream. Again, I DO NOT have sensitive skin, no allergies and have been using Retinol for years (on my face and under my eyes), so I know my skin is able to tolerate a high level of Retinol.

If anyone knows what I can use to get rid of the deep wrinkles and dry patches this cream has caused, I’m all ears and really desperate!.

I’ll start with the pros: it has a lovely texture, sinks in quickly, and does not irritate the eyes. It made my undereye skin feel softer than it ever has. Now the cons: Unfortunately, the skin feels *so* soft that it increased the crepey texture.

Retinol that works at this price! I put this not only under my eyes but also on my forehead. I’m noticing more results on my forehead than my under eye area. I guess it is easier to see the results there.

I pure ceramides on first for my under eye so i don’t get any irritation or dryness. I do not do that for my forehead. My under eyes are very sensitive and have had no irritation. I am staring in the mirror right now and thinking what did my eyes look like a few weeks ago.

I don’t only do retinols for the wrinkles but for my dark circles as well. I think it just needs more time. Or maybe a higher retinol. My eyes have shown aging before my forehead. I’m rambling. I recommend.
