20 Best Curling Brush For Fine Hair (2023 Updated)

I bought this for my friend who is 93. She thought this would work better for her thinning hair then her regular curling iron did. She wasn’t happy with it, again, maybe because of her thinner hair. She said it didn’t get hot enough and didn’t work for her hair.

I will ask her again and check it out myself, and then maybe leave a more positive review. I appreciate your company.

The curling brush was useless. If I could rate if a minus 10 I would. No grip on the hair. cheap plastic. Bring back your original curling brushes! At least the older model did what it was suppose to do and better than super market quality.

The delivery and service from Denman was very good. Unfortunately the brush itself has a larger diameter than I had expected. It was to replace a very old brush my wife has from Denman, this is a smaller diameter, but doesn’t look like Denman make this brush any more.

These really give you a professional finish to your hair which I think is down to the curl release system. No more hair getting stuck and ruining your curls. Heats up in no time so it’s literally so much faster and easier to do your hair.

The only thing I would say is leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes before first use and your all set to go. Also I found starting on the lowest heat and working up to find the right hear for your hair is best too.

Really comfortable to handle and good cord length too. I also got a few compliments on how shiny my hair looked and it’s all down to this amazing product.

It curls well but the “teeth or combs” are spaced quite wide and it is easy to burn yourself. There are eight rows across the barrel which is 3/4 inch wide. The depth of the “teeth or combs” is approximately 3/8 inch.

Too bad Conair did not design the Conair Instant Heat Curling Iron so the “teeth or combs”are not longer.

I looked all over for a styling brush like this, but couldn’t find one anywhere. I happened to think of WalMart on line, and lo and behold there it was. I just love it. It heats up in seconds, and makes my hair shiny and soft.

The curl seems to last a lot longer than other brands. Thank you WalMart.

I have used styling brushes for the past ten years and I have never had one work as well as this one. It has the one inch barrel and it heats up instantly. Trying to find a one inch barrel in the stores is like looking for a needle in a haystack! Glad I found this online.

As a hairstylist, I think this is a nice brush. The thermoceramic coating makes it very easy to smooth hair while blow drying. The one huge flaw is that it doesn’t have a rubbery or soft touch grip like the head hugger brushes.

Makes it hard to rotate the brush without feeling like I’m contributing to carpal tunnel. If this flaw was fixed, I’d highly recommend it.

I have all sizes of denman round styling brushes and would highly recommend any of them for blow drying and styling. They never disappoint. My new purchase of the small brush is great for my short thick hair.

Love it. Grips the hair snd makes blow during snd styling easy.

Bought this for my mum who has arthritis in her hands. She finds the brush easy to grip and comfortable to hold. Brush is good for short hair waves.

Short bristles on the brush help to blow dry the hair without tangling and pulling the hair out! Excellent brush design

Very pleased with this brush. Handle is a great shape, as it has three sides, which makes it easier to rotate the brush. I also like the fact that the bristles have stayed straight and have not melted-even using a 2400w hairdryer at full heat.

Knowing this brand from my hairdresser. Great quality for good price. Easy way to create volume on straight long hair. Really easy to use this hair brush. The hairbrush does not heat, does not slip in your hands.

Absolutely love my hot brush! I was so impressed with how it styled my hair. Honestly if you’re on the fence get it! It’s easy to use and works great! I have long wavey/curly hair (depending on my hair’s mood).

I got the hot brush because my Dyson airwrap broke and I was desperate for something to replace the airwrap (as I couldn’t get a new one/sold out everywhere). This does not dry your hair like the airwrap but it has similar results (if not a little better).

I’ve taken time to blow out my hair and then use the hot brush and I’ve used the hot brush on air dried hair. It honestly didn’t matter. My hair was smooth, bouncy and held the curls so nice. Def my new favorite hair tool.

I’ve had the ghd straighteners for about 15 years and they are great, never had a problem. I can’t curl my hair with them – I’ve tried and tried, I’ve watched tutorials and my hairdresser tried to show me but I just can’t – so when this brush came out I thought it would be perfect.

The first snag is where the on off button is, it’s where you would naturally hold the brush, therefore you’re constantly in danger of turning it off. I usually use a different make brush with larger barrel which gives me soft waves and a bit of body.

I thought with the ghd brush it would give me longer lasting curls but sadly this isn’t the case. It’s now residing in my bottom drawer gathering dust – very disappointed with it to be honest.

This dryer is great. I have a medium bob, and I use both brushes. The heat is just right and the rotation pulls the hair to the roller securely. Way way better than a separate blow dryer and brush!

The bristles are not strong enough to actually pull and wrap hair around. Essentially useless brush heads and it doesn’t get hot enough to do much.

I rarely blow dry my hair – yes, out of laziness, but also not wanting to damage it more than I already do. I like the brush and its easy to section the hair. I had another one that broke – dryer itself kinda broke and made this squealing noise – so bought another one.

Im guessing I had the first one for a year or so, so maybe the quality isnt as good b/c, as mentioned above, I wasnt using it every day. One thing I dont like is the the ease to use it. There are three settings – cool, med, hot.

I tend to start with hot to get the hair straightened or curled and then set it to cool to kinda lock it in. The PITA part is trying to switch it without accidentally shutting it off. The switch is in the base and you twist it to get to the right setting.

Its more annoying than anything else. Otherwise, I really like it – again, Im lazy and like using this instead of a flat iron which I know will DEFINITELY damage the hair. I do spray on some of that stuff thats supposed to protect your hair before I use it.

Also, I tend to wait until my hair air dries a bit before using – its not a tool you can use like a traditional hair dryer to wave around to get the excess water out, you need to use the brush.

I bought this brush through my hair salon at least 8 years ago, maybe more. it’s in the same condition today as the day I bought it (well better actually). These natural hair brushes get better and better over time, in my opinion.

I highly recommend this brush line to anyone who is fairly competent in their blow dry skills. It truly makes a blow last longer, I have a few very good higher end brushes this is my favorite out of the bunch.

I used to use a simple round brush which I bought in the shop next door for my hair styling. But since I started to take a proper care of my hair, I needed a good brush – and this one is just great! It’s made with boar bristles which should bring less harm for hair and has a ceramics base to dry the hair faster.

But all that matters is that it makes hair look amazing! Styling gets very easy (but I can’t say that the brush makes the process much faster) and you get soft and shiny hair – looks quite the same as when I have it done by my hairdresser.

It works well as for straightening as for curling.

This brush is seriously beautiful. It doesn’t yank knots out, it smooths them out. Feels like a head massage while you’re using it! I have very curly hair so if always avoided brushing my hair (too much fuzz creation!) but this brush helps tame the frizz and leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth.

So for years I’ve been trying to recreate that soft bouncy salon blowout at home. I have long hair with bleach highlights and other high lifts so it’s prone to dry, frizzyness. I use olaplex, expensive leave in products, oils, air dry, minimise heat damage etc.

But always end up with loads of surface frizz and dry brittle ends after drying. until now. Life changing. My hair is effortlessly soft, shiny, with smooth soft ends and bounce like a professional blowdry.

If only I’d discovered using boar bristle brushes sooner! Every penny perfectly spent. I’m beyond happy.

I have mid length thick hair and this brush Mary my hair frizzy when blow drying. Completely useless. Really disappointed.

This is an amazing round brush. I had decided to look for natural round brush to avoid damage to my thinning fine hair. Even after first use I notice the shine and the curl lasted all day. I have purchased additional sizes in this range and couldn’t be happier :).
