i am very impressed with these headphones! Sure the bass may be a little on the heavy side which the more particular headphone guru may not care for, but they are very comfortable and overall sound is good.

They could use a bit more treble to balance the bass, but honestly, I don’t care that much. I put these on at night to listen to music while falling asleep and they block out all of the extraneous noises like the loud A/C, snoring, people chatting on the phone, and other family member’s music or movie.

Oh and did i mention the noise cancelling affect? Definitely a winner in this category. I also watch Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu with these. The only problem I had is that I couldn’t get them to pair with my laptop.

I’m sure there is a solution for that, I just haven’t found it yet. I would definitely recommend!.

I’ve been wanting a pair of headphones that are noise canceling and don’t require to go in your ear, as those tend to be very uncomfortable after and hour or so of use. I wear glasses and these are great as they as soft on the glasses but offer enough pressure to stay in place while active.

The sound quality is phenomenal and you can always turn off the NC feature on iPhone by swiping down on the top right and holding the volume bar.

Quite happy with these head phones. For me it was between the Studio 3’s and Sony WH‑1000XM2. I ended up with the Studio 3’s mostly to match my girlfriend and the red color options. The battery lasts quite a while.

I havent timed it, but I’m sure it is close to what is advertised. I would use them a couple times a day at work and they lasted me 2 weeks. My first pair had an issue with the sound cable connection, but i got a replacement unit and it works well.

The noise canceling could also be better in my opinion, but it worked well enough on a plane trip we just took. Perfect no, but very happy. Getting rid of that wire is an awesome feeling and i find myself putting the headphones on just to make a phone call.

Dang these look great!! But they sound like… fill in the blank. I get it, these headphones will bring you clout, level you up in a world. But let’s block out those haters with some real headphones that sound amazing and do a good job with noise cancellation – like Bose.

The amount of money Beats brings in you would think a little RD would be put towards better speakers. Hey who am to judge. Overall 2. 5/5. They look great, feel good for a few hours, but don’t plan on dropping your new mix tape with these.

These came nicely packaged. I like the fact that they fold. So easy to work, I was concerned because for some reason I couldn’t wrap my head around IR ready. Umm so easy, meaning if you can see that little red dot in the DVD player or the Cell phone etc.

they will work, haven’t tried them on anything but the DVD players in the car. Easy, put batteries on pick a channel and off you go. I like that they have 2 channels to choose from, two DVD players channel for each.

This is going to be great so I don’t have to listen to the movie I can’t see. Will update after the trip to let you know how they hold up as we are doing 4800 miles so they will get alot of use.

All of this will be written with the iPhone user in mind, considering the iPhone is my primary daily driver device. I know the setup for Android devices is a tad different and requires to use of the Beats app, What can I say about these, they are Beats, and personally I see them as an improvement over their bigger brother, the Powerbeats Pro, considering they removed the ear hook (which actually became rather painful for me after a few hours for some reason), and added the non removable wing tip.

I also have a pair of Airpod pros, and those have been my go to device since Oct 2019 release so I will be mentioning a few of the differences since they are so close in features, and with the sales recently, close to the same in price points.

For starters, the H1 chip makes using these things with my iPhone, iPad and Apple TV a breeze to set up and to swap between devices, something I always enjoyed! The case is considerably smaller then the case for the Powerbeat Pros but slightly larger then the case for the AirPod Pros, which also affects the available charging power of the case itself, but I enjoy the smaller case as it is just easier to carry around in the pocket and as an added bonus, when closing the case, it makes that satisfying “click” noise just like the Airpods do (I know a LOT of people rather enjoy that and I am one of them!).

The case itself does NOT charge wirelessly, but unlike the Airpods, Beats used USB-C for fast charging, which for me is perfectly fine, but might be a deal breaker for some. They do include the same features as the Airpod Pros such as Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, Spatial Audio and the ability to use Hey Siri for requests.

This also allows you to switch between those modes with just your voice or, depending on how you set up the buttons ( the b logo itself is a clickable button on both buds) you have the ability to assign them to either volume control or noise control depending on personal preference.

As far as how they fit, this might be an issue for some people. Compared to the Airpod Pros, the “body” I guess you could call it, is larger and might cause some discomfort to people. It is rather bulbous in shape, and if you have smaller ears, this might be problematic, especially if you are looking for earbuds that sit somewhat flush in the ear.

I still prefer the feel and fit of the Airpod Pros over these because of how my ears are, but this will differ for everyone. With winter coming and the temps dropping in some parts of the country (I am in Wisconsin sooo yeah lol), I find myself starting to wear my usual warm beanie hats, and this is where the Beats Pro fit became problematic for me.

That bulbous design they used, coupled with wearing a hat, caused discomfort rather quickly for me, as the added pressure of them being pressed into my ears eventually became unbearable (just something to think about if anyone works out while outside in winter, or just plain works outside and needs to wear hats) Sound quality and spatial audio (which is great on its own!) is on par with the AirPod pros, but I found that the ANC and Transparency modes slightly lacking in this department, even after using the ear tip fit test ( I got the good fit notification on both earbuds).

After using both, for me personally, it just seems like even though I passed the tip test, the seal is just not as tight as the Airpods, again another thing I assume is due to the design of the body of the buds being rather large.

This will of course be different for everyone as our ears are all different I am nowhere near and audiophile, but one thing I always loved about past Beats devices was their extra punch on the low end of my music, and while these do not disappoint, they seemed to have toned that down a little.

Even after messing around with the sound settings in Apple Music to increase bass, they really offer no noticeable difference over the Airpods. When making these, Beats was obviously targeting the workout community (water and sweat resistant.

not water or sweat proof) more then the casual user. While the wing tip does help keep them secure in your ear when working out or wearing them to work etc, on a personal level, they are less painful to wear for extended periods of time (unlike the Powerbeats Pro and the ear hook), and I will be using these more on a situational basis along with my Airpods.

At the end of the day, these are a decent sidegrade from the Airpod Pros, but it all comes down to user preference. Some love the Beats name, and with the price points being similar thanks to sales, you really cant go wrong with either.

If one has issues with the buds staying in your ears during workouts or general use, I would easily recommend these to that group, Beats did NOT disappoint with this offering.

First off these are the first airpods I’ve owned, but not my first experience with airpods, and I must say that I made the right choice! I never quite liked the AirPods Pro… they’re not secure for sweaty people like me in workouts and I’m sure those white tips must get discolored with ear wax after a while (gross).

Now the top 3 airpods right now are the airpods gen 3, AirPods Pro, and these bad boys (the beats fit pro)… my spouse has the Gen 3 (she got them after I ordered these) and I must say that they are more comfortable to use… you could keep those in all day and barely even feel them, and they’re pretty secure (at least in my ears), I’ve never actually worked out in them before though.

The Beats are the most secure airpods you can buy no doubt though… no matter the ear size or shape, these guys aren’t going anywhere once you fix those wing tips. The wing tips though start to poke your ear after a while so you start to feel them after a couple hours.

No big deal though… especially since you really don’t really need to use the wing tips unless you’re active. They stay in your ear pretty nicely in normal use without the wing tips… at that point, you can have them in almost all day no problem.

The Sound quality tho… oh yea boiiiii!!! I’m no audiophile and I haven’t owned many truly wireless earphones in my life (I’m coming from the first generation Samsung Galaxy buds from my days on Android… new Apple member here)… but these things KICK! I can never really comfortably listen to anything beyond 3/4 volume and I hear everything clearly… mids, highs and lows… and those Lows (drools)… some truly head thumping bass (depending on the genre).

I feel the music, especially in bass heavy tunes. This is also the first time I’m experiencing active noise cancelling, and trust me, it works… while it doesn’t block out all noise in the spectrum, it definitely blocks out most… it’s like you’re transported into your own little zone.

It’s like I can’t do without it most times when I’m home or in an environment where my attention or awareness isn’t necessary and I can literally just “zone out” to another space. The battery also lasts forever! I pretty much charge them a couple times a week, and that’s with active noise cancelling turned on.

To be fair though there are a couple of things to note: there is no wireless charging (I don’t really use that anyway)… it’s bad for the lifespan of your battery due to heat and is way slower than using a cable.

The case also definitely feels cheap compared to the AirPods Pro and Gen 3. The cases for those are definitely a cut above… the case for the Beats has this little “creaky” wobble to it that’s unlike the usual tight tolerances and quality I’ve come to appreciate for apple products.

The case is also a little bigger than the other AirPods, but it fits in my pockets daily just fine. All in all… it’s a top notch and feature rich pair of earbuds, and for my use where I value sound quality (deep base without sacrificing clarity or much balance), need a secure pair of earbuds for exercising, and the ability to hear my music over the world around me, these were definitely worth it.

I can’t go anywhere without them… especially since it is baked into the apple ecosystem so I can seamlessly switch between my phone and iPad without even realizing it… like magic as usual. Trust mi! If you’re an active person… apple or android (most features work for both), get these and done.

In closing I would definitely go for the AirPods Gen 3 though if you want something even more comfy, especially since they are cheaper. However, bare in mind that they are less secure in your ears and although they do sound pretty darn good, due to physics (they’re not in ear style earbuds) they won’t give you as great a seal and will not give you the sound quality of the Beats (but due to updated design they do give the AirPods Pro’s a run for their money)… you’ll also not get active noise cancelling and of course they only make sense to get if you have an iPhone.

The thing I like about Beats is that they are comfortable in your ears and they have a feature I like which is noise cancellation. They also come in different colorways and people get to choose which one they want.

They’re also smaller beats or bigger beats depending on what they prefer. I’ve had the product for years already and I enjoyed them. The thing I like about the beats is that they were comfortable in my ears and they sound very good.

The feature I liked about it is that they have noise cancellation on it which made listening to music for me even better. Some pros about the headphones beats is that they have noise cancelation which makes it better to listen to music.

Another pro is that you can choose the color of the beat you want and there are small and big headphones for people that rather have small or big headphones. A con about the headphones beats is that you have to be careful because they can crack and it leaves scratches easily.

I would recommend someone to get these headphones if you are working out and are outgoing but I am not for kids because they could easily break because of the material so I would recommend someone to get them if someone plays sports and trains or works out.

So far, so good. Love the crisp sound. Purchased them for the sale price of $179, so I cannot relate to the $350 price tag. I think the volume is perfect. Not overbearing at all even with the volume all the way up.

I think they are great at noise cancelling as I am not trying to drown out the world. These are my first pair of Beats, I’m not an audiophile, and I love music. After researching headphones, these are lower costing.

I bought these for my teen for his birthday. They were new in box. I read other reviews saying they were used but that’s not what description says and his came new and in a sealed box with all the accessories.

They even smell new lol. I also read reviews about materials being cheap so I bought a three protection plan just in case. They are really nice, even the feel of them are nice. They come with a case as well.

My son is happy! The sound quality is amazing and the noise cancelling is insane even when you put them on with no sound. They fit great, no pressure on the head or ear but still feel secure. Amazing price as competitors had the camo for over three hundred, even when other colors were marked down.

This review is for the Beats Solo Wired On-Ear Headphones, I don’t think this is the exact one I selected but it’s the closest in description as the other Beats Solos are the version 2 and 3 wireless ones.

5 years of using it. ) The wire only lasts for 6 months before I had to find a replacement but I substituted with tape to keep it from breaking? I like to believe I take good care of it as I do have a larger case to place my headphones and earphones in their own compartment after using it to do work.

My friends own the gold Beats Solo 3 wireless one, and they’ve had it for about 2 years now and it looks fine. They seem happy with it but perhaps the company learned what went wrong with the first version I bought and made sure Beats Solo 3 wouldn’t be such a disaster.

The Beats EP headphones were not compatible with my iPhone SXMax. I used a brand new converter connector and when trying to use my customize controls, it kept telling me that they are not recognized and can use Beats compatible asessories.

I called Apple and they gave me a list of what is compatible with my iPhone SXMax. Beats Pro and Powerbeats Pro. etc. Beats EP will only work with older iPhones that have the direct plugin, not the flash plugin!! Now I have to pay to send this product back! I would imagine it is also for older iPad, as I tried it with my iPad also and it gave me the same message.

Therefore, I will be purchasing my Beats from another source. I have been a Fingerhut customer and cardholder for many years. They need to be better informed about compatibility and updating of their electronic products.

I was much younger when I bought my first Beats headphones, not sure this is even the right version of what I bought. But like a true youngster I bought it for looks. Beats always had that cool appeal.

But overall wasn’t that sold on my Beats. The cord started to disintegrate within the first year especially at the end hubs. Not like I didn’t take care of it either. I always made sure to store it in the little storage bag it came with after use.

And the sound wasn’t as good as I had expected, I remember when I compared to my brother’s Bose headphones at that time I felt disappointed. His headphones had better sound quality for sure. Though keep in mind this was back in 2009.

Somebody things about this I just don’t know where to start. Needless to say I was extremely excited to receive these and I finally got them I must say I was pleased that they came already 80% charged that was a plus.

No time for the good the bad the ugly in the real truth. Packaging is absolutely beautiful much better packaging than me know iPhone 13 Pro Max that was pretty generic however the beats packaging was very very nice.

Starting with the case extremely slippery, Very hard to open you almost don’t even know where you almost don’t even know where to home there should be some type of notch or something that just makes them up and easy like the iPods.

If you were expecting a flawless connection thanks again now yes it’s easy to connect them but like the Apple iPods you open them up and they’re connected not with the beats do you have to do a little bit of work and go back and search for them in your Bluetooth and select them and unfortunately you have to do this every time.

As far as the sound quality they fell short on that as well yes the sound is good but I would have expected much much better out of a beats product. First, let me begin saying that I am a visually impaired user and this perspective is just how I feel. The reason I only gave these headphones an average rating is because they are just that. They lack umph and they lack power to me.

I saw multiple reviews watch multiple reviews on YouTube for purchasing these studio buds on Black Friday I was already in need being that I still on the original pair of AirPods so it was time for some thing new.

I purchased these on Black Friday for $99 and I am extremely disappointing all of the reviews that I watched on YouTube gave me the notion that these headphones were loud and we’re going to pack a mean punch, but I was extremely disappointed on the first lesson.

I am more than likely will give these away because I also purchased a pair of beats flex into me they offer more power and more thought as my mother would say. The value on the headphones were perfect because I refuse to pay anything over $100 for a pair of your phones.

The quality of the headphones, I mean they are beats so they’re going to make them look good for a fashion statement. I also purchased these because I didn’t want another pair of AirPods because I work out a lot and they seem to slip out of my ear when I am in the gym.

So I wanted something that would stay in my ear as I work out. So far they have done a great job on that level. I’ve gotten multiple comments on them on how cool they look but looks can be deceiving.

Yes they look nice, but being blind it’s hard to get them in and out of the case. The first time I took them out of the case I actually had to have someone help me figure out how to get them back into the case, so pay very close attention, for the very first few times it took me a minute to put them back in the case once I use them.

The reason for the three stars is one. They lack power. To. They lack loudness. Three. They only look good in my ear. I am quite disappointed in these and I might even give these away and try something else.

I’ve often also heard prior to purchasing these that listening to classical music was not an option but I actually felt like these were better for classical music than songs by Kevin Gates or Nipsey Hussle didn’t give me what I was looking for.

We purchased several of these for the feature sets they had. The Noise-Cancellation is nice and really helps, especially if you share an office. There is much to be appreciated in not being tied to your desk.

The stereo sound is really good for the size and being able to connect to multiple devices is really helpful. Adding your cell phone over Bluetooth is surprisingly easy. The room monitor is also nice so that you can have a conversation without removing the headset.

It would be nice if it would pause music automatically when entering ‘monitoring’ mode instead of just silencing it. Now all those features are really nice but the design and comfort really fall short of muster.

These of complaints come from a collection of users and we all experience the same things. 1. ) Comfort: Being a group of individuals we all have different size and shaped heads, some wear glasses, others do not.

We all experience ear pain after wearing the headset for appoximately 45 minutes. At first we thought it might be related to glasses but users who don’t wear glasses also experience the same pain. Perhaps it is caused by too high of pressure like they were designed as youth size.

2. ) Functionality: Because these are sold as Computer Headphones, we expected that we would not experience issues hearing sound from the computer. The problem is that even a break of a few seconds of continuous sound results in a break in transmission.

For instance if you are watching a video and pause it to speak to someone, even briefly, when you press play again there is a 1-2 second delay in audio reception so you have to rewind to hear what was said.

The play controls from the headset only appear to work on the cell phone but not with the PC apps. Overall, the collection of features is nice but the execution of comfort and feature functionality are poor which is a disappointment considering the price point.

This is a great headset. What I love The wireless range with the Link 370 adapter is quite impressive. Im able to walk to all corners of my house and still maintain clear audio. With regular Bluetooth, it will cut out after passing a wall.

so the adapter is great. Audio over the USB cable Yes, this is a wireless headset. but one of the best features in my mind is that you can use it as a wired headset too. Wireless is great up until you have unexpected interference of some kind.

Should that come up, simply plug it in and youre good to go My home office is free of interference, although I did experience some at a client site. Having the wired option in that scenario was a Godsend Intuitive controls.

I love pushing the Mic boom up to mute. Its a very easy physical reminder whether youve muted yourself on a conference call. With the Jabra Direct software you can also turn on a mute reminder that will play a very gentle knocking sound.

so you wont be that person who talks for 30 seconds on a conference call while muted. Battery life is as advertised. Long 14hr battery life is living up to the claim. Each time you power it on you are reminded of the battery life remaining.

so theres no guessing whether it is time to plug in. Great carrying case. A fairly firm carrying case has been great for travel so far. It adds a bit of bulk, but will ensure you dont lose the Link 370 adapter and also protect the soft earpieces from anything in your bag.

As for any negatives. the noise cancelling isnt the best. Granted, these are not over the ear headphones, my expectations here werent 100 noise cancellation. In fact. thats a bonus for me, as I dont want complete seclusion from my surroundings.

That being said the ANC button does make a marked difference.

I work in an office with aprox 100 people around, I was looking something for different purposes and I found it in the Jabra Evolve 75: – I hate cables! I was looking for a wireless headsets. I would say that my Jabra are much more better of what I was looking.

You can connect the headsets using bluetooth or Jabra link 370 who is a little usb dongle, it has an automatic wireless connection with the headsets. Both options are great the quality sound is good.

As well you can have your cellphone and computer connected at the same time, so it is perfect for me. -Noise cancelling. I can concentrate more in my work, the noise around me is 0 when I’m listening music.

When I’m in conference calls I can still hear some noise but is normal, -Good quality sound. The sound is good, however keep in mind that this headsets where created to be for work not for entertainment, if you have this in mind then you will be ok with the sound quality.

-Battery duration: I’m using the headsets for about 6 hours daily (between music and conference calls) and I have charged my headsets probably 2 times in one week. I’m still wondering how it is going to look in some weeks.

I totally recommend this headsets, you will not be disappointing, I have also the Jabra Elite 65 and I love them, that’s why I was looking for Jabra headsets and one more time I’m very happy with them.

If I need to say something against the headsets is that they don’t have an application for phone (as the Jabra Elite has) you can download an app for your computer however I don’t really like it, I would like to have an equalizer to modify the sound.

Had these for a few weeks and really loving them! These have to be the best headphones you can get for the price. You get the same seamless pairing between your Apple devices like the Airpods but these have integrated controls for volume and play/pause/accept call.

I mainly use them with an iPhone but had no issues pairing them to a windows laptop. The soft rubber tips on the earbuds are also much more comfortable than the hard plastic on Airpods Gen 2 and the rubber also provides a decent level of noise isolation to block out background sound.

The microphone is in the neck band which places it closer to you mouth and I haven’t had any issues taking calls on them. Sound quality is also good with decent bass and clear sound. I’ve heard some people say that they are too quiet but I haven’t had this issue and usually have the volume set to around around 30%.

Haven’t had any issues with battery life. Some people might prefer fully wireless headphones but I prefer the wire since you’ll never lose one earbud and you don’t have to carry around a charging case.

I wear these like a necklace beneath my shirt and often forget I’m wearing them. USB C cable is included in the box but no charging brick. Fantastic for the price, highly recommend them!.

Didn’t even realize that Apple had made these (completely forgot that Apple bought them out), which is a pretty big complement from an Android user. Have had no issue with operating them whatsoever, which isn’t always the case with things made by Apple on other branded devices.

Especially with pairing, it seems. Controls seem intuitive, and the two plastic pieces make it easy to keep the pair equidistant on me. I will say, that it took me a while to find the small pause/play button.

I really like the magnets, as others have said, and they also will pause your media, If you engage the magnets in front of you anyway. I haven’t had them super long, so battery isn’t something I can report on yet, but it seems as though other reviewers have been reporting as positive.

With a set of the bigger tips, they remain in my ears extremely well. Sound quality is good, considering the affordable price point. Edit: after a bit more time with them, the only negativeish thing I can say, is that the pairing mode should be a double tap, instead of a long press of the power button, imo.

Among my earphone collection, these see the most use. In fact, I often wear them throughout the day, draped around my neck, even if I’m not actually using them. I love the form factor, it’s very secure and makes it easy to quickly remove one ear without worry about dropping it or getting it lost in your scarf or flung out by a mask earloop.

It’s very convenient. The sounds quality, to my non-audiophile ear, is very good, no complaints. It pairs quickly and easily with both my android phone and macbook. The controls, once you get muscle memory of where they are, are a nice feature, and the audio feedback about power on/off pairing is pleasant.

The microphone placement is one of my few complaints, and typically, to improve audio quality for whomever I’m speaking to, I’ll lift the left “arm” so the mic doesn’t rub against my collar or get muffled.

For this reason, I don’t use it for video calls or hands-free calls. But I do love that yuzu yellow color, it’s like a sort of pastel fluorescent yellow-green. I’ve had them for one year and still really enjoy them.

This works great and the sound quality through the Link380 is great for music and calls, with colleagues mentioning this sounds far better.

The only two gripes I have are: – The audio quality for bluetooth devices – this is due to only supporting the basic SBC audio codec. Works great for calls, but don’t expect high fidelity for music from your phone.

I had done my homework and this was accepted because bluetooth music wasn’t the focus and it still sounds good through the proprietary Link380 BT adaptor, though) – My big head seems to mean the pressure on the ears is a bit uncomfortable after long periods (3+ hours).

This was my concern with on-ear, but the over-ear Jabra equivalents are far more expensive. This is easily remedied with a break or two. Again, self inflicted.

There are very few products I could possibly say were worth a 12-week wait, but the Jabra Evolve 2 75 is one of them. I was inspired to order one by a combination of experience with a much cheaper Jabra corded product (the Evolve 20), excellent online reviews, and the audio comparison with other SKUs done by Headset Advisor on their YouTube channel.

The minute I ordered it, however, it went out of stock. But it did finally arrive 2 weeks ago, and my experience is uniformly positive. The headset is extremely comfortable even for me (I have a very large head), the sound and mix are excellent, and the adaptive noise cancellation is much more than adequate for a general office setting.

It will be a couple of months until I can test it on the road. I’m not sure I really believe the advertised battery life, but that is also much more than adequate for an office. As far as I can tell, most people should be either buying something really cheap (they just don’t use it enough), identically the Apple AirPods Pro (and maybe a decent mic) or the tip of the line Jabra in whatever form factor you like best.

The mic is not perfect, but it is in the top 5-10% of your Zoom calls, and works even when you are away from your desk. If you really are podcasting, I’m sure you would prefer a dedicated and better mic, but for most other people I’m really not sure.

And versatility is why this is actually worth waiting and paying for. It would be a steal for a real sale price, which we’ll only see when they can keep the SKU in stock.

Bought this as an upgrade from the Evolve 65 (not 2) and unfortunately its overall a downgrade, despite being constructed very nicely with premium feeling materials and a great build quality – I wanted to love it! There are 2 x major issues: Firstly, the mic is right side only, whereas the previous model could swing both ways (I prefer on the left side).

Maybe not a deal breaker for some, but I just found it constantly annoying. Secondly, the previous model has a hard headband which gradually built up pressure on the top of my head and become uncomfortable after a few hours.

This model has attempted to fix that with a nice soft silicon pad, however the overall more solid build (and thus weight) and stronger materials mean that between the clamping force and extra weight it’s mde it worse! I struggled to wear this headset for more than 30 mins at a time.

Big sad. I also have an Engage 75 which is almost perfect, but it is tied to the dock for Bluetooth and PC connectivity, so you can’t really use it for travelling. Still chasing the holy grail of headsets.

Looking at the Evolve 75 it looks like it might suffer the same issues as the Evolve2 65.

The earbuds are the real deal and these come at a price you can’t beat but only come with: a type c charger, the charging case, medium size rubber pieces and the earbuds. They come in a sketchy cardboard box but I assure you these are real.

Now on to the pros and cons Pros •affordable earbuds •Easy parring • comes with a 90 day warranty • stays in your ear nice Cons •Not best sound quality •transparency mode makes people sort of muffled • rubber pieces feel uncomfortable (personal preference but not a huge con).

Have had some problem with the earbuds falling out during work. Purchased them mainly for gym and walking. Very cognizant when I am doing these activities to make sure to adjust if these are feeling like they are getting loose.

Have not jogged or ran with them. Initially had problem with charging. Seems to have worked that out.

These are my workout must have’s. Am probably OCD about the gym, lifting 3 to 5 times a week. Hike 7 to 20 miles a day also. These jaunts are far more enjoyable with Dre Beats 3 wireless headphones. I’ve had them for months now, and these are a cinch to pair to the iPhone.

Also they show on the display, how much battery is left. These durable headphones are comfortable, and can withstand any weather I’ve thrown their way. To clean off the sweat, I recommend a bit of alcohol and water.

The battery is close to 40 hours on one charge. I’d say 35 to 38 hours, is more realistic but I am known for being rough on equipment. Charge time is fast too. Included with these is a cord, that connects to your laptops USB drive.

Connecting them is easy. What impresses me most is how comfortable these are, especially to inside the ears audio devices that can be inferior to these. The Dre Beats are a well conceived item. Dr Dre has done great, and these also are sold at Apple stores.

I got mine at an electronics store. Sure they were expensive, but for all I use them for, i consider a worthwhile purchase. Noise canceling is quite good, but where these shine is sound quality. The bass is remarkable.

Best I’ve heard yet with headphones. I find these very comfortable on my scalp and ears, and all of the controls are intuitive. A great purchase, plus they have a zip up bag to put them in. This is actually high quality too, and will keep your headphones stored until the next time.

I bought these on John Lewis back in 2020. I’ve left it awhile before reviewing, so I can give an honest review, with plenty of use, rather than reviewing right away. Pros: The sound quality is very clear & crisps, with a good ammount of bass.

They look good, I chose matt black, they’re stylish. I pair them with my android smart phone, I’ve also used them with my TV. No issues what so ever and the Bluetooth range is good. The battery life is great, they last for hours, which you can’t get from smaller headphones.

Cons: The band can sometimes feel restrictive, but I understand they are tight fitting (so they don’t keep slipping down) But after prolonged use, it can feel alittle uncomfortable & after a while you do get damp ears.

Overall BEATS SOLO 3 are a good wireless option. They don’t look huge and fold up compact in their own storage bag. I like to try the new ‘BEATS fot Pro True Wireless’ Earpods to do a true comparison of the two, at some point.

I’ve had these for about two years now and I love them. The sound is great and they pair to devices easily. Beats are owned by Apple but they work well with Androids too. The battery last forever and they charge extremely fast.

There are a lot of reviews saying that they are uncomfortable. That they sit on their ears instead of over them, and they hurt after a while. These are NOT over the ear headphones. Some people think they are and are disappointed when they get them.

They sit on your ear and after using them for a while your ears do hurt. They are also kind of tight, so if you have a sensitive head (like me) these could give you headaches after a long use. (If you want over the ear headphones I suggest the studios.

I have a pair and they are great. ) I also saw reviews saying that the pads on the headphones fell off after less than a year, so they had to buy new Beats. Yes the pads do wear down after a while, but you can buy new ones.

You can get them on Amazon for like 10 bucks and you apply them yourself. It’s very simple. You don’t need to buy a new pair of Beats if this happens. Because they are on the ear headphones they are smaller and more compact.

They are great for traveling because they don’t take up much space. They block out people and ambient noises, but they won’t block out loud noises. (Like an airplane)I don’t know if they’re worth the price, but they are great headphones.

I like them and would buy another pair.

First, I am extremely picky when it comes to shape, weight, and fit of headphones, so it’s rare for me to find a pair that I can wear all day comfortably. After a week of wearing the the Logitech G535 Lightspeed headset, I’m excited to share that these are, by far, the most comfortable pair of headphones I’ve tested.

In the box are the headphones, USB dongle and charging cable. Setup is very easy, plug in dongle to either PC or PS4 (I tested both) and the headphones are connected. The design is unique, in that there is a band of stretchy mesh material that sits below the headband frame.

This fabric supports the weight of the headset over the top of the head, and distributes the weight evenly, so no pressure soreness or discomfort even after a 10 hour day of wear. There are two height adjustments for the fabric, giving plenty of ability to fit various head shape/size, and the fabric is reversible for either an aqua or purple-ish color.

The ear cups sit over the ears and are a light weight breathable foam, that were appropriately roomy for both myself and my teens. Lastly, the overall weight of the headset is ~1/2 lb, making these much lighter than the majority of other headsets I’ve tested.

Build wise, the materials feel like a quality lightweight plastic versus flimsy, such that I don’t worry about the occasional fall off my desk. The controls are on the left ear, and being left handed, this is preferred.

On the back side of the left ear cuff, from top to bottom are the indicator light, power button, volume wheel, and on bottom is the USB charging port. Battery life was two full days of back to back meetings and into the third day, this is without me powering off when I’m done, but rather tossing the headset on my desk and taking off for the day.

The mic does not detach, but will rotate up (mute position) fully out of the way. The range distance from dongle is impressive, as I can go downstairs, across the house and not lose audio feed. I estimate I was ~40′ away from the laptop, through two walls at the farthest point.

As far as sound, during videoconferencing / music / and routine PC work stuff, I found the sound quality to be strong. This means I could hear everyone during meetings, the mic doesn’t pick up my nearby background noise or my breathing, and I didn’t find myself having to adjust the volume during different audio tasks throughout the day.

Note, while the 535s have a strong quality, these are not music studio audiophile quality, however neither is the price point. As far as gaming goes, I found that I could clearly hear game based environmental noise (players behind me, footsteps, weapon reload, etc), with slight directional nuances, and zero noticeable lag.

Overall, highly recommend, the comfort for a wide range of head sizes is the number one feature for me, closely followed by sound quality, weight, and battery life. This is a fantastic versatile headset that I can’t say enough good things about!.

Brief overview: Solid headphones with EXTREMELY flimsy head cushion I’ve done quite a bit of research for new headphones since my old ones finally stopped working after 3 years. I was torn between this product and the Arctis Pro Wireless.

Arctis is extremely difficult to find anywhere, so I compromised and went in and picked this up from my local BB. As soon as I finished unpacking the headset and plugged in the (admittedly sleek) charging base, I put the headphones on for the first time and felt the top cushion just pop right out of place.

I do have a very slightly larger head than average but nothing that has ever caused a problem on any other headset I’ve ever used. The headset was at it’s longest extension and the cushion barely touched the top of my head and just popped out of the two small holes that are supposed to hold it in place.

No amount of fiddling will get it to STAY in place while it is being worn. The slots will click back into their correct place, but as soon as the cushion touches the top of my head it just pops off. After some googling, I found this is not an uncommon complaint, but it is something I did not come across while researching this headset, so I was taken by surprise for sure! Normally this would not be a dealbreaker, but the headset is extremely uncomfortable without the top headcushion.

The support website for Astro products is, quite frankly, a joke. In my opinion, they are hiding or obfuscating the correct place to go to submit a product warranty claim or request, and the only way I found was to submit a ‘support ticket’ that will maybe be answered in 2-3 business days.

Additionally, I can call during regular business hours, but only for technical support? I’m not sure how customers are supposed to get fast product support from this manufacturer. I will try to be fair and give the pros I’ve noticed: -Great sound quality for movies, TV, and gaming -Charging station is pretty cool looking and compact -Headset fits nicely (when the top cushion is in place) -Mic is unobtrusive and flexible, with great Mic Monitor setting that can be switched on and off -Headset fits very nicely on the charging base and unlike other reviews I’ve seen, it is not difficult to get it charging at all -Charging progress bar on the base -Easy to adjust height of the top of the headset A final small complaint I have, I was under the impression that this required no wires besides the power plug, as in, no need to connect it to my laptop/PC or Xbox.

Well, the power cord must plug directly into whatever you are using, meaning that for those who wish to have as few wires as possible may not be pleased. All in all, if this is what $300 gets you in 2023, you may want to spend your money elsewhere if you don’t want to try your luck on a faulty cushion (or as some others have mentioned a potentially faulty charging system!) I will likely not be waiting 2-3 business days for a response from the manufacturer and returning these to BB, I recommend if you’re still reading this review that you look into Arctis Pro Wireless, which I will be buying after this experience.

Lets start out the the good for starters, its lightweight with minimal clamping force so its fairly comfortable to wear, and having a base deck to charge the headset is a cool concept, the fact that i can switch between xbox mode and pc mode is pretty cool, and the wireless connection has a pretty strong connection going to the other end of my apartment while other headset couldn’t even go to the next room.

And sadly thats about it for the good about the headset. I guess lets go to the bad. The connection, now i know i just complemented it but its also pretty bad, it makes a tiking noise and the volume of the tiking noise varrys on the content your on, game/yt/Spotify, and it tiks the loudest on yt, and these tiks aren’t just annoying rhe actually do hurt sometimes and the only way to fix it is by unplugging the base and plugging it back in.

The audio is pretty bad for $300, the $100 Microsoft headphones are almost as good as it, the mids are fine, the highs bled into the mids alot and the lows aren’t there, there is poor base its just mid, even changing the eq on its software it still didn’t help, the only thing that made the audio good, was the dolby atmos app.

Enough with the audio, the mic, oh god the mic, you think for a $300 headset the mic would blow the roof off compared to a $60 headset right, wrong dead wrong, the quality it literally the same, only thing that the a 50s mic brings to the table is the ability to hear every little tiny movement you do, almost as bad as the artics 9x.

Oh yeah you know how i said it pretty light weight and low clamping force and fairly comfortable well its also a dubble whammy, the low clamping force means that just one head shake the headset is gone, and if you where glasses even thin frames like mine it whill make a weird squeaky noise, the top headband pops out really easy and the top head bands pad squished to none after a month.

Why doesn’t this headset have Bluetooth!! Its $300, even the cheapest headsets have Bluetooth. Oh the base deck, terrible, ehy include a base deck that has no function besuded to charge, see what battery percentage, see what mode your on (xbox/pc) and to see what preset your on, why does the a40s have all that plus volume control but not the a 50s.

That makes not sense. Also, why doesn’t this have a 3. 5m jack, if you run out of battery you have to wait an hour to even be at 50%. Speaking of battery i should mention the fact that the actual charging for this heaset is so finicky, you have to fiddle around to make sure its on correctly and wait for the lights to pop up but sometimes even when all that seems good it still wont charge.

Overall this headset is really bad, you’ll honestly be better off with the Microsoft headsets and the turtle beach volume control, i cant even recommend this, heck i can’t even recommend a single astro if there top of the line most expensive one is absolute mid.

As you may or not know, Astro A50 Base Station function as its own sound card, so it can separate audio channels for PC. These audio channels are: Astro a50 (Game), Astro a50(voice) and Astro a50 (line in).

Now the last one is mostly for streaming purposes; I use it to connect my phone and add some jams to my gaming session. Superb audio quality and customization. To the point: Astro A50 (Game) not working.

Sometimes it does not appear as an option, so all audio (voice chat and game sound) goes to Astro A50 (Voice). It makes it all sound terrible and the manual balance between game and voice wont work. Sometimes Astro A50(Game) disappears and Astro A50 (line in) shows up.

Causes error on my system indicating with a blue screen that a device did not close properly and then the headset stops working (no output, no input). Its been like this for a while now, I have tried a lot of tricks and methods one can find online, but nothing seems to fix this issue.

I have been waiting for a firmware update but its not happening. It seems like Astro Gaming was left to die, at least for PC. Or maybe my headset is defective. Im sensing this started happening after the last firmware update, which was around the same time I upgraded my system, maybe its just a coincidence.

I have been trying to manually downgrade the headset’s firmware, but it seems like Astro took away support DL from their website. Now this is a high-end, very expensive gaming headset which I purchased with the intention of using it for at least 5 years before they start to break down, (I take really good care of my gadgets) Its only going to be a couple years by the end of this month (Jan 2022) and im probably out of warranty but if this is it for the top tier gaming headsets from Logitech, its a big fail as a company and I feel like Ive been ripped off.

I’ve seen other negative reviews about these headphones but my experience with these were amazing ! So I got my pair late 2017 – Bought it brand new from my local BB and it’s been through the washer, dryer, hell and back.

I’m an athlete and do a lot of high intensity workouts throughout the week as well so it’s drenched in sweat for a majority of it’s tenure with me. PROS: Decent sound ( nothing to write home about ).

EXTREMELY DURABLE ( I’m writing this in Aug-27 2021 and it’s still going strong after 4+ years ). Light weight (makes it a good pair for workouts and other physical activities ). Good battery life, convenient and fast charging ( uses a lightning like your iphone ) – I can’t think of the countless times I’ve forgotten to charge it overnight before I take it to the gym but the fast charging feature is so good that it goes above 50% just while I drive myself to the gym 10 minutes from my house.

CONS: Plastic used in the construction is very flimsy and easily comes apart. It tends to slip out of your ears when it’s a bit sweaty even with the bigger sized buds and the ear ridge support attachment added.

OVERALL: Great pair of wireless earphones. ONLY BUY IT ON SALE ! the MSRP on this is a bit high for what it is considering you can get airpods for fairly cheap now.

These headphones lasted me 4 years with regular use. There is a magnetic feature between the buds which I found to be very useful, but eventually one magnet disconnected from the bud, and caused my headphones to slip off unknowingly.

They were very comfortable, they came with different ear pieces to get the right fit. Stayed in my ears during high intensity workouts. During floor workouts the back strap got annoying at times, but nothing intolerable.

Sound quality was great, especially for the money. Charging was awesome!! A 5 min charge fills you all the way up and lasts you for a very long time (depending on usage). I would go days without charging these.

When answering calls while the headphones were in use, it occasionally wouldnt transfer to automatically to the headphones, you would have to manually switch over. Not always. Otherwise communication and use were great.

Set up was straightforward, and worked well with the iPhone.

I have owned 2 pairs of Beatsx. This will make it the 3rd time. The first pair lasted me a little over 2 years. I work construction and they were pulled away from my ears a lot of times. They were exposed to heat, sweat and a lot of dust.

It was understandable when one lf the plugs stopped working after too many pulls. The noise cancelation was great because I remember using a cut saw at work and using these to protect my ears. The second ones lasted me 2 years.

The battery stopped working. The sound is what these bad boys are all about. Sure they sell many affordable ones out there but the sound isn’t as great. I use the smaller buds and they rarely come off my ears, unless I’m sweaty.

They say these aren’t water proof but sweat is technically water and they never had water damage. But be reasonable. Don’t soak them just to prove a point. Overall these are amazing and they are way cheaper than before.

I will definitely buy another pair. Black and red is all I’m going to say.

I received these 3 years ago as a gift and they were nice. I did realize they were very different from the solos and other styles in sound quality. It’s not bad, but if you want a louder and more base experience these aren’t the ones to get.

The cord also does not come off being there is no Bluetooth. I didn’t like that once they mess up as far as the ear pads or cord you are done. No more beats Ep unless you have some tech skills and can fix them that is if you didn’t purchase insurance on them.

Roland CS-10Em is good binaural solution for low price. Microphones has good quality of sound. Headphones may be better, but quality is normal for monitoring recordings. I have an issue on my recorder Zoom H5.

When I connect mics to line in and headphones to phones minijack, headphones make terrable noice.

These headphones are amazing! I have mostly positive feelings for them. The positive: – They have incredible sound and the noise-canceling works well. – The color is very pretty, I was worried it would be too bright for my liking but they’re really pretty.

– The battery lasts a long time and it recharges quickly. – Even when you’re not listening to anything, they do a good job at keeping sounds out, so if you’re trying to focus or you’re sensitive to sounds, it’s really nice to just sit with them on.

The cons: – While they are comfortable at first, wearing them for long periods of time does start to hurt, after about an hour or two it becomes unbearable. – The headphones don’t give much warning when they’re about to die, other headphones I have had at least warn you a few minutes beforehand, but these will make a noise and then turn off right after, it’s a little inconvenient at times.

– It says it has two listening modes, but honestly, I hear no difference when I switch between them. – I’m not a fan of the way these turn on and off, I like sitting with my headphones on so random noises around me don’t bother me as much, but it’s a little frustrating that the headphones stay on and use up the battery life when you’re not actually listening to anything.

Overall, besides the minor annoyances I have with them, I think these are great headphones and well worth the price.

These are the best headphones I ever gotten, besides having Sony WF-1000XM3’s they are already wearing out and I had problems with them slipping out even when trying out multiple ear tips. I use these for biking, and let me say this, they stay on all the way, at first they might have a tight fit causing some ear pain or even above your head since these are more clamped than the solo 3’s, yes I also had solo 3’s before but they break apart 2 years ago.

I have a road bike and ride aggressively, and no matter what these stay on, no slips at all, although it’s more effective when you’re wearing a hat rather than just wearing none since it grips more. Noise cancellation: let me just say they are great l, I was honestly underestimating these over my WF-1000xm3’s but the beats were better, even when riding my bike around the island it cancels out noise by a lot, from passing cars to wind resistance, although you still can hear them a bit but it’s totally silent when volume is on mid to max.

Beside noise cancellation these headphones have great passive noise cancelling due to the higher clamp these have over the solo 3’s even for over ears these are awesome. Transparency mode: they are ehh okay, it’s not as effective as my wf xm3’s, but they do work.

I use this mode a lot especially at home or when I’m with family and friends so I can hear them and listen to music at the same time, and not having to take them off every time I need to listen. Although I would have to drop volume to low cause mid to max isn’t very effective, still it’s okay or decent.

Battery life: way better than any of my previous headsets I’ve had over the years. I bike from 4 to sometimes 6 hours a day and from 99 percent it’s usually down to 74 or 50, I’ve never had these due on me since I never used them 24/7.

Remind you I always have ANC on every time I use this, or sometimes transparency mode, still these last very long. Also they do charge very fast, I honestly don’t have to worry about it dying on me. Build quality: These are solid, it feels more premium than the solo 3’s I had or the Sony earbuds I’ve had.

I’ve had incidents were I would scratch them a lot since these do stick out a lot, even with that I haven’t noticed any deep to major scratches on these, there are some but it isn’t noticeable. Honestly I feel like these would survive a fall or when I ever do get into an accident when riding my bike, although it’s a night though, that’s how confident I am with the build on these solo pro’s.

Also I sweat a lot. Comfort: it’s meh, at first. It was painful when I first had them because of how hard they clamped against your ears, but I got use to it, still I get the pain but you might be able to get over it.

The memory foam earcups are great though. Overall the best headsets I’ve ever own, everyone might have different experiences with them, but for me they’re awesome.

I have been shopping for a good pair of headphones recently after my old ones died. I first tried the Beats Solo3 (purchased elsewhere). They were nice looking, felt comfortable, but the sound was “meh”.

I did some research online and found these Solo Pro as a higher level option PLUS they were on sale so decided to take a shot. Here are the PRO’s and CON’s PRO 1) Walmart. com said it would deliver to my home the following day, and it did.

Outstanding. FAST! 2) This is a very nice looking pair of headphones – I got the black. Definitely more premium looking than the Solo3. 3) The sound was MUCH better than the Solo3. It was nearly as good as some higher end headphones I’ve listened to.

Definitely one of the best Beats headphones I’ve heard. CONS 1) There really is only one “con”, but it was enough for me to return them. They are very VERY tight on your head. I’m sure this has a lot to do with making the noise canceling work well and get a good seal on your head – but I have a large head (I know this from buying caps), and they were extremely uncomfortable in a short time.

Additionally, because they were so tight on my ears – it actually muffled the sound. If I lifted them a hair off my ears, the sound was much louder! If I could have adjusted them to that width, I would have kept them without question.

I rated them 4 stars because they really are nice, but had to take away 1 star for the lack of comfort. If you have a smaller head, these might work great for you.

I bought this when my last headset stopped working suddenly, (4 year old Microsoft headset). I work from home and do phone customer support so the headset is a vital piece of equipment for me. Firstly the sound is great and don’t get too many complaints about the caller not hearing me.

When I do it’s most likely the vpn or phone software. My first of two complaints about the headset is that with the wire coming from the right ear doesn’t suit me well since my computer is on the left an the weight of the wire pulls it off my head if I lean forward.

2nd is that the red light on the wire that indicates the mute button is pressed suddenly stopped after about a month of use, this making it hard to know it’s muted until someone cannot hear me. Frankly i’d like the wire to be a little lighter weight, the volume/mute control on the wire rather then the ear piece and the ear piece to have more of a cup rather then flat.

I bought this because I needed something quick and there wasn’t much else to choose from. It does the job but I can’t say it’s fantastic. Not sure why the chord is on the right as most people are right handed.

The wire just gets in the way. I’ve managed to live with it tucked under the laptop but I can’t get the microphone close enough to my face. That being said, no one has complained about not being able to hear me and the noise reduction is pretty decent.

I will keep it as a backup. If you are on the phone all day you might consider paying a bit extra for something of a high quality. This was the highest I could go without getting into Bluetooth.

I’ve had this pair before years ago. Liked them. Build quality and comfort is nothing special, it just works. My last headset I got recently, I had problems with it. I gave them away and picked these up to hold hold me over.

I appreciated them all over again. The sound is acceptable, nothing special. Mic works fine communication wise. Friends haven’t complain at all, even when I use the near a fan. When reviewing video recordings with voice, I’ve noticed average/typical voice quality on my end, little to no background noise in normal circumstances.

For a budget gaming headset, I -100%- recommend them in that regard.

My honest review (please read till the end for the tragic part) to help anyone on the fence about the powerbeats pro earbuds is that the sound is very impressive. I’ll clarify by saying it is true that the bass is not felt in your eardrum but the audio comes out very clear.

So if you value audio clarity then these are great. As far as comfort these are the only earbuds that I can wear for 9 hours without having any discomfort. I have owned several other brands including Apple pros and Bose so that is no small feat.

The battery life is phenomenal because I can actually listen to music, atleast on a moderate volume level for the full nine hours. Even better that I usually only have one in so when it dies I just switch ears and the discharged one will charge fully in 30 mins no problem.

Now for the tragic downfall and reason for the low rating. I bought mine new through att and now after the 1 year warranty has expired neither one of my earbuds stay connected for more than 45 seconds.

This is to my phone, a friends phone of another brand, my laptop, or any other device I have tried. I have been through every forum and tried every procedure to remedy this but to no avail. Unfortunately these are apparently only made to last around a year and then will be useless.

I’m not sure if this is an Apple problem or just because I purchased them through AT&T but either way it is a major disappointment and a complete failure to provide us consumers with a quality product we spent so much money on.

Do not purchase these unless you only need them for 1 year because that is about all they will last.

I really contemplated purchasing these Beats, would the high price deliver a better quality sound and experience? I was limited in options because I need the over the ear loop. Unfortunately these are something you can’t go to the store and try out and compared (I tried but wouldn’t let me open any).

Overall they are OK but probably not worth the extra cost over cheaper competitors. The sound quality is OK (initially extremely disappointed but allowed a longer break in period and sound improved to satisfactory).

Interestingly pale in comparison to the really cheap $40 generic brand set my wife purchased from Amazon-only issue with those is going in ear and I need over the ear for my workouts. I was hoping Beats brand would not have other annoying issues compared to cheaper brands like pairing Bluetooth.

So far they have failed to pair 3 times which has been rather annoying; doing nothing different those times that I can think of. Nothing worse then getting ready to hit the gym and fussing around getting them to pair (even had to Forget Bluetooth and redo completely last time) standing in the locker room wasting time.

They do come with multiple size tips and the smallest fit best. Overall my main criteria was comfort, convenience, and sound quality. They are comfortable and stay in place with workouts. Sound quality is adequate but I expected better.

BT pairing issues a pain. Conclusion: they are OK, good investment if they prove durable. Not worth retail price. Thankfully I paid 10% less but that’s still over priced. If you have the opportunity to try other brands my guess is you’ll find you get as good of experience for less money.

Over paying by 20% for the brand name.

There Powerbeats are good but not great, especially for the price. Frankly, I’m a bit disappointed. First, the good points. I very much prefer having earhooks on my earbuds and these work nicely and are comfortable.

I considered getting Apple AirPods but they aren’t available with earhooks. I like the Powerbeats compact size. The controls are very well thought out and I also like that they’re the same on both buds so I can use either hand.

Furthermore, it’s great that the buds can be used one at a time instead of only both. This is helpful for maintaining ambient awareness when exercising outdoors because there’s nothing in one ear. Now for the not so good things about these Powerbeats.

The bass leaves much to be desired. The highs and mid-ranges are quite good but not stellar. Another problem with them is that there’s no feedback when placing them in the case to charge to assure the buds have good contact with the contacts in the case.

As a result, I recently took them with me to my car dealer to use while waiting to get my vehicle serviced and only one was charged. Very annoying. Now, when placing them in the case, I jiggle each bud to assure it’s solidly in contact with the case’s contacts.

I don’t think the Powerbeats justify the high price. They’d be a decent purchase if they were on sale for at least $50 less, but not they’re MSRP.

I had the opportunity to try these and the new Beats Fit Pros (aka, beats airpods pro without a stem and with the “wings” to lock on your ears), and ultimately I went with the Fit Pros, ANC, ease of use and most importantly, ear seal weighed on that decision.

Prior to the Fit Pros being released, I wanted to get one of these Powerbeats badly, as the Airpod Pros (which I also own) keep trying to slide/escape my ears whenever I put them on, I decided to go with something that would ease my anxiety so I’d stop looking like a cat in grooming overdrive caused by falling $100-replacement-per-pod Airpods Pro and just enjoy some music and move freely.

Then, once I got the Powerbeats, I understood why people highly recommended them – it’s not studio level sound quality (wireless should be a dead giveaway on that), but for the money it’s decent, my only problem with these were the ear tips, and they have 4 different sizes! None of them provided a good seal, either being too small, or too big for my canal, and I don’t want to enlarge my ear canal to hear even more bad news, so thank you.

But other than my personal fitment issues, controls were fairly easy to use, easy to set them on a charging case, and to adjust the arc that goes over your ear. Another problem though was the charging case, I got too spoiled by my Airpod Pros and wanted something pocketable, this isn’t it.

Build quality is better than the one for the Fit Pros, especially the Airpod pro-style hinges, but this is bigger than a personal wifi hotspot, arguably thicker than a nicely padded walled (with cards and cash) so not something you can throw into any pocket.

All in all, I’d recommend it if you don’t care for noise cancellation, charging case size AND you have an abundance of lightning cables around. If money is no object to you, and like myself you want a drama free gym experience with better features (even though it doesn’t pack the punch these ones do on bass), and all in a small case that almost fit the coin pocket of your jeans, get the Fit Pros.

I purchased these headphones to use while running. They have been fantastic for listening to music while on the run. I love the charging case & iPhone compatibilities. The color is nice as well. Overall, a good product & a fantastic update over my previous wired Apple headphones.

Few issues: 1. Several people have commented that they can’t hear me properly when using the mic on these headphones. Would not recommend to use if you will be speaking to people frequently on these.

2. You can easily misalign the headphone within the charging case. If the earbud isn’t properly contacting the two contact points within the case, it will not charge. Difficult to easily tell if it is charging.

3. The headphones don’t have amazing noise cancellation. I work out in a gym where folks are playing volleyball (loudly) and I have to turn up the volume quite a bit before I can hear my music through these ear buds.

4. The carrying case is bulky & slippery. When compared against the air pods case, it is ridiculously large. Even accounting for the ear loops, I think the design could be streamlined further. As a woman, the case rarely fits in any pockets.

I find myself carrying just the earbuds separately in my pocket on the way to the gym.
