20 Best Big And Tall Jeans (2023 Updated)

I like these jeans, overall; the wash, the fit, the depth of these front pockets. The cut looks a little bizarre when I look at them from arms’ length, but they seem to fit just fine. I merely find me being self-conscious ’bout it, a bit, when I wear them.

Wondering whether the cut looks off to everyone else, or not–but hey, that’s my problem; it’s not like anyone really cares about it, anyway! Good jeans! Easy to wash, and they stay looking clean for a long time, so long as they’re not treated in smudge, sludge, ooze, grime, grease, dirt, or crud.

I purchased this product for an upcoming special occasion since they didn’t have my size in-store. The product delivered quickly and was just as I requested. Size 44×30, fit perfectly, good looks and well constructed.

I’m not one for dressing up so I wear these jeans every day, at home and at work and I have been doing so for nearly 30 years now. I read many reviews that said these jeans had changed in recent years and many were not happy with them but I don’t have any issue with them, in fact I think they have improved.

The cut does seem to have changed slightly, but to me the fit is still just as comfortable as it has always been. I read complaints about the side pockets on the right leg being smaller than before so not being as useful as they used to be, but the jeans I received in my recent orders have pockets that are actually a bit larger than they used to be.

I never used to be able to fit my cell phone (Samsung S20 5G with a hard shell Otterbox case) in either of the two pockets but now it fits in both perfectly. This small expansion of those pockets has made them even more useful for carrying tools like pliers, utility knives, screwdrivers, etc.

when I’m doing handy work around the house as well. They have also added an additional pocket on the left leg under the hammer loop as well. That pocket also fits my cell phone and other items perfectly.

The smaller, tighter fit of those pockets was my only complaint about these jeans before, but not anymore. The pockets are perfect now. The pocket on the left leg was something friends and I used to say would be an excellent addition and it’s great to see Wrangler took the feedback/suggestion and added it.

I was hesitant to order new jeans after reading the comments/reviews from others wondering if my long time favorite jeans would be a disappointment, but so glad I went ahead and got them anyway as they have turned out to be better than ever.

Very pleased with them and will be ordering more very soon as the older pairs I have have lasted well over 10 years but are finally needing to be replaced. If you like relaxed fit carpenter jeans, get these, they are fantastic.

These are my favorite jeans for work in my lawn and landscape maintenance business, so you know they take a lot of wear and tear. I have been buying these same jeans every year, for many years, and really like them.

Good fit, a bit loose, which I like, and good durability, at a reasonable price. I was a bit concerned with my recent order though when I looked at the product picture and it looked like they reverted to the narrow coin/watch pocket of a couple years ago, which I did not like at all because it was so small it was difficult to put anything in or take out.

I keep my riding mower key in there. But when I received the jeans I was happy to see they still had the larger coin/watch pocket. Thank you, Wrangler! Please always keep it that way, as I plan on buying more again next year.

Pros: — fit perfectly, — very glad that these jeans, which have been around for a long time, are still available. They are my favorite of all men’s pants. Cons: — although these are the Rugged Wear jeans, the fabric seems thinner than the ones I’ve purchased in prior years.

Hopefully it’s just my imagination. Hopefully they will last as long. Time will tell. By the way, whatever happened to the triple-stitch jeans? — buying these online cost almost twice as much as when I bought them from Vanity Fair outlet in Centralia a few years ago.

I wish the Vanity Fair was still open or that the online price was lower. If so, I would buy more of these jeans.

I have worn the Levi 550 jeans for many years and the quality of the material was excellent. However, the last three pairs purchased in 2021 have all torn straight down along the side of the back pocket and cannot be repaired, Appears the material has changed to an inferior quality.

Other comments starting in 2020 stated the same thing. Company advises 90 day return. So, save your receipt and the tags from the jeans. Come on Levi step up the quality of the fabric and the manufacturer.

Wore these for years not anymore. I bought several pairs on sale a year ago and denim tore on 2 pairs within weeks, had to throw out. The material has been cheapened, thinner than it used to be. No tear strength.

So I switched to Wranger sold at Walmart for 1/2 the Levi sale price. I have had no failures after a year of daily use. So bought some more there.

I purchased two pairs of the same size jeans on line. There was at least a size difference between the two pairs. I returned the large pair to a store and exchanged for another pair that fit better. I ran them through the washer before wearing and one of the rivets at the pocket fell out.

These pairs had been ordered to replace two pairs previously returned because seams failed within the first month on both pairs.

The jeans have a nice fit however the material is so-so. After 2 months or wearing in the office the material does appear to be durable but, it does stretch out a fair amount (especially in the waste).

Additionally, the belt loops are a little flimsy and also stretch out – the belt loops would be better if they were twice as wide or thick. I would recommend going with the Big and Tall as it gives extra space in the inseam and seat.

I am 6’4, 250lbs (athletic build) and the 40W/36L fit well (could have probably gone with the 38W as the waste did stretch. I would like to see the pants in additional colours (grey, or khaki).

Waist fits quite snug to size. After wearing a while, the pants stretch out significantly. Not realizing this, my spouse selected the next waist size larger in order to do up the pants. After wearing the pants a while, the pants are almost too large.

Looking back we should’ve tried the smaller size – but were not prepared for the risk if they did not stretch to fit. As well, the cut indicates tapered leg but this is not comparable to the same Jean in dark wash.

These tapered leg pants seem more straight cut and when they stretch out they seem baggy.

These jeans fit great. I am 6 ft 3 in tall and I got the 36 waist by 34 length size. The best fitting jeans I probably ever had and easily the most comfortable. I bought two pairs because I love them so much.

These will be the only jeans I buy from now on. I must add that the staff were extremely helpful.

The Levi’s brand quality has really gone down. I only bought Levi’s for over 30 years, but that is going to change. These jeans ripped in the crotch after only one month of wear. I threw them away out of disgust.

Price is way too high for this low quality. I didn’t mind paying more for a quality product in the past, but now that is changed. Don’t waste your money on these jeans.

I lost some weight over the past couple years, and got tired of my jeans always slipping down. I suffer from the noassatall condition. LOL! These Extreme Motion jeans are stretchable. I like the stretch in the waist.

as I still have just a little bit of “gut” that I can’t seem to get rid of, but I have to buy pants that actually fit my hips or they won’t stay up with a tight belt. These EM jeans are quite comfortable.

Two minor problems. being stretchable, they will slide down a little at times, and also, I’m not a fan of the back pocket being made of the stretchable material. When I put my wallet in, it doesn’t seem nearly as secure as in a standard pair of jeans made of normal denim.

But, aside from that, I really like these jeans. I’ve bought several pair. They don’t cut into your waist like normal denim.

Excellent fit on my husband. He likes the extra stretch if he loses or gains a few pounds. Please sell them in a 27, 28 or 29 length. I bought the 30 length and they drag slightly. Also if Lee could fix the problem of the hem turning up.

Like the dark wash indigo and black. No need for the dye to look creased or worn because I tend to think they are worn by mostly middle age and older men.

The best ever shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair or very dry hair with split ends. I am a cosmetologist and I swear by this. I use it daily and recccomend it to anyone with dry or grey or colored hair.

I’ve brought about five pair of the big men’s pants and every single pair tear by the legs like a sheet of paper the shirt I bought to match the pants even tour and I don’t do anything at my job but working customer service cheapest quality ever except for the highest prices in the world.

I spend hard-earned money on cheap quality but it’s the only big man store in town so its our loss.

Through the years I have been using this brand of jeans for my workplace ( warehouse) and have been holding up to the rugged atmosphere everyday. Constant bending and twisting all day long at work. This is truly one brand that I would recommend to anybody.

Believe me when I say these pants were great. Comfortable to wear. Especially for someone who has big calves and is hard to find jeans to fit. Downfall is they lasted about a month before they start developing a rip in the fabric around the outside of the zipper.

Shame $60 jeans don’t last longer then a month.

I have the hardest time finding the perfect jeans for my size, Im about a 5x but in jean size I always have to wear a 58-60 because of the size of my calves and they have to be loose jeans, lately other products like Nautica or tru nation at that size in loose style jeans still dont fit me (waist size they do but not my legs).

these jeans from Lee fit PERFECT. They waist has a stretchy material and the leg room is perfect for me, the waist might actually be too big for me so I may need to go to a 56. Overall these jeans are perfect for me.

So if you have problems finding the right jeans to big legs and especially big calves, purchase these! you won’t regret it!.

Bought these for my grandfather and he loved them. Fit perfect and Wanted to order more but they don’t have his length yet.

I would give these pants a 5 star, but for the price vs the material. I love the fit and the stretch, but the legs have a bit of a ‘worn out’ look and the material is not the best, naturally fades color fast, and naturally wear out fast, therefore the price, i feel, is way too high for the jeans.

These could easily be my favorite jeans if they were valued as such. Name brands, like Levi, sure more expensive, but they last longer too. I just like the fit of these more. So, do I spend more for less, or the same for not as good a fit.

I ordered these jeans online. A black and light wash. Size 29. I love that they are rigid and 100% cotton. However, when I tried them on, the fit was not the same. The black fit well while the light wash was bigger on the waist.

The length of the inseam of the black jeans was different too. The left leg was longer by an inch than the right leg. I love the material but I was disappointed by the size/labeling and inconsistent inseam.

Pros: No synthetic fibers, durable duck canvas. Cons: Tight fit for rated waist size. Front pockets are undersized, difficult to fit hand in when I have my EDC knife clipped to pocket or when sitting down.

Internal dimensions of pocket could be extended toward middle of pant for added room. Bought two pairs and the pocket in one had a large hole at lower stich line within a couple weeks. The zipper fly feels like it could be minimum 1/2″ longer to provide more room when used.

Design recommendations: Longer zip fly or even a button fly, riveted corners for the tool pockets and hammer loop, riveted belt loops. Reinforced front pockets (internally and at areas where tools could be clipped).

Dickies duck pants are my absolute favorite. I’ve tried other brands but none compared. Until now. I prefer the sanded duck carpenters but apparently those are not available online and they are almost impossible to find in the wild.

So I tried these out. The material has changed, dramatically. They are thinner and cheaper feeling. The fit is good and the sizes are true but I am 100% sure these will not hold up to the kind of abuse my previous pairs have.

They feel more like dress pants than canvas work pants. It truly is a shame. If I wouldn’t have gotten them on sale I would have returned them.

After losing 55 lbs and slimming down from size 48 to size 44, I needed to get jeans that fit and felt good when wearing them. I usually get a couple of other name brands but their price became more than I was willing to pay.

I was able to get a pair of Dickies jeans from a local store, and liked the way the jeans fit. The jeans were a relaxed fit and was capable of stretching a little where I needed it. These jeans, being a carpenter style, has a couple of extra right side pockets designed to carry small to medium things, and also has a hammer loop on the left side.

Those extra additions to the jeans wasn’t a significant difference for me, so I bought the single pair to try out. That pair was instantly comfortable and fit my waist, legs and butt area so well even before washing them.

The price I paid for the jeans was way less than the two other major brands price. I could get 2 of the Dickies brand jeans for the price I would have paid for 1 of the other name brand jeans. A search for the Dickies jeans led me to Construction Gear online store.

the price was right and the shipping was free, so I had no reason to reject them. I am glad that I found the Construction Gear store, and will probably purchase other items from them.

I purchased two pair of your work jeans years ago and have used them in all types of work. Mostly outdoor work including wood cutting, maple sap harvesting and processing. A good friend recommended your work jeans when I bought my first pairs, He is a contractor and puts them too the test, Only now, after washing and wearing over and over is a hole forming where material is getting thin.

I would strongly recommend your product and the price is reasonable.

Red kap has fairly good quality material for the price. Inseam options are great as some people like me prefer shorter inseams. They were all out of slimmer styles so I settle for relaxed fit. Although they were good quality they leggings were too baggy for my preference, I could see someone with longer legs and likes bagger leggings like the relaxed fit.

I order this product for employees for the city of Gatlinburg. It is always a go back to for them. The customer loves the fit and quality of these jeans. These are my go to when carhartt isn’t available and they become the favorite of the two.

Seems these are the jeans I always loved. This style of Wrangler jean has always been my go-to jean. For me – WAY better than Levi, Lee, or other jeans. Loved the fit, feel, deep pockets, quality fabric, hardware, etc.

Then, I saw changes, as did a lot of other people according to reviews. Comments were that the material was lighter weight, back pockets smaller, front pockets shallower, watch pocket smaller, crotches tighter, waist fit lower to comply with new style trends, etc.

This concerned me to the point I started checking out local inventory, trying them on. Yes, it did seem they had changed them – a lot probably having to do with they were being manufactured in a lot of different places.

It appeared that what you ended up with depended on what country they were made in, probably what factory. So for 5 years I was afraid to buy these jeans. Finally, I decided if I made sure I only ordered the 96501DS, maybe they might have gone back to the old reliable standard great jean they were before.

I am involved in community stray animal care 365 nights a year. During the winter months, while we do not get as frigid as northern states do, windchill off the water at our location frequently is in the 20s, enough to be very uncomfortable without some type of warm clotihing.

While I have had great coverage wtih jackets and upper body wear, the jeans I prefer to use have been quite inadequate to keep my legs war. These Wrangler insulated denims seem to be a perfect balance.

The denim weight is heavy; these are not lightweight pants. The Dupont Thinsulate layer is finished with a fleece lining, allowing good mobility and bending while still keeping heat in and cold out. While I haven’t used them yet this season, they appear to be just what the doctor ordered to avoid having to see the doctor for pneumonia.

Very happy with this purchase and feel the price was quite fair for this product.

I thought the size was not going to fit and intended to return these pants but they fit perfectly. I will not be returning them.

I was so excited to find these great looking jeans in my size on your website. Unfortunately, they have a distinct chemical smell to them. I soaked the pants in a solution of vinegar and salt with a touch of Woolite, then washed them in a full cycle with detetgent and favric softener and let them air dry outdoors in the summer air for 4 days.

They are currently draped over a chair 7 feet away and I can still smell them. Very disappointed!.

i must have 20 pairs of black jeans (every possible maker) they all lack something. a good fit, they shrink, the seat is all wrong, they look baggy and the list goes on. Finally Lucky Brand nailed it with these stretch jeans.

They fit like skinny jeans but still fit, they didn’t shrink, the fit is great and for a big guy they make me look about as good as possible. I ran out an bought a second pair immediately because like all good things, I was afraid I’d never find them again.

I don’t know why it took me so long to try on a pair of Lucky jeans. They are incredibly comfortable and very well made. I’ve been wearing them non-stop and have now purchased multiple pairs. The quality, comfort, and fit is worth the higher cost.

These will last.
