Easy set up. Great sound quality and feel. The label On-Off is backwards on the mic but no problems. One mic started to cut out the first day, but turned off and back on and it worked again. Cheap batteries maybe.

I like the mics, heavy duty build. I bought mainly so I don’t have to share with anyone at my karaoke show. 4stars. Good quality and a great price. 34. 54. update, mic cutting out is due to interference with the other wireless mic system, one of those mics is apparently on the same frequency and cuts out and horrible feedback, so I just turned that one off.

Connected these mics to a premium mixer and sound system and there was no feedback or unwanted noise! Sturdy construction. Had an issue after dropping one mic right on it’s head, but was able to re-secure the internal mic and now it works fine.

No issues at all with interference. My home has all kinds of interference around it, but none affected these mics. Was able to use the unbalanced and balanced outputs on the control box. The balanced output works a little better, but the 1/4 inch is fine if you have good mixer controls and decent batteries in the mic.

The weight of each mic is only a little less than a premium Shure wireless mic, so they feel good and sturdy. If the mics and control box hold up for a reasonably long time they are a steal.

Singer gets jacked sometimes and has his buddies, pals, audience, invisible buddie, etc, get on stage for “singalongs” towards the end of some gigs. Many gigs actually. Fun?. Yea. Funny?. ALWAYS. Entertaining?.

meh. depends on your idea of entertainment I guess. He even parties with folks while WE load up. YYyyyyaaaaaaaa. A haffazz singer with a cheap mic, but no PA, but hey, he has his moments. He’s popular, and we do get more gigs, so, whatever.

Problem is MY mic is what they try and use. NOPE. I’m not swapping spit withya. No way. Used the drummers highat Sennheiser, or his cheap backup, when he remembers it, but not now. This rig is awesome for this.

Plug it in to a mixer channel,and leave them until you need them. Generic foam windscreens fit great, and for. 50 you can tossem or washem. They DON’T sound as good as a hotrodded MXL 990, but they aren’t far off an SM 57/8, so.

?. why not gettem! Cheap enough, and no swapin spit with Brunhilda from Houston. Unless your into that.

These are great, there is no latency. I walked around various rooms in my house trying to lose the signal but couldn’t. They continued working through all the walls. The sound is a bit crisper than with a cable, but I liked the extra brightness.

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the connections. The transmitter doesn’t snap fully into my mic. I have several, and it won’t go fully in. The connection very tight though, so it won’t fall out.

Also, the charging connections are very tight and I have to almost force the plugs in. Again, I have tried them on other equipment with the same result. Having said that, the charge lasts forever, and they charge fairly quickly, so on the whole, I would recommend them.

I had a important outdoor event and my client requested me to accommodate a vocal comedy skit between 3 comedians and a vocal quartet were to perform in the set after the comedy sketch. I only had one decent quality wired mic and 1 week before the show so I went right to my AMS catalog and started reading about the best best wireless mic system and chose the VocoPro UHF5805 Wireless handheld microphone system and couldn’t be happier with my choice.

I got them days before my gig and charged all 4 mics, tested them for clarity, richness and distance traveled away from my system to give out perimeter distances. These microphones sound grrrreat! I had not one issue and a few performers asked where I got the quality mics for a DJ system.

This 4 mic set up is a nice addition to my pro audio gear.

Now in my twenty plus years of djing I’ve truly worked with some simply crap products. I must say that the VocoPro Uhf5805 is not in that category & by far exceeded my performance expectations. I specifically bought this piece of gear as a special request by my clients for 4 wireless mics which in my mind was kinda excessive but it was an all star basketball event with multiple high-flying celebrity athlete host.

Getting to the point, the set up time was short & sweet all the mic components are perfectly packed in a durable metal case that looks like it would survive a ten storey drop (please do not try at home).

Mic charging time was minimal as well. My DJ setup was at a top bleacher distance so I was sweating balls thinking I’d have signal drop off or Mexican radio interference, there was absolutely NONE. What completely impressed me the most was when the host slid the mic in his pocket and decided to do a series of running dunks without dropping the mic.

It was quite amazing to watch. So in my review yes I absolutely recommend the VocoPro Uhf5805 at its price point. The mic stands were a nice bonus but I still have them in the boxes they were shipped in.

I love that the mics are rechargeable—less money spent on batteries. I like the microphones’ case and the clarity I receive when I plug them into the system. I’ve had the microphones for a few months now.

I am delighted with the product. Best decision I made in a long time on products for my DJ gear. I had these same mics only difference was they were battery operated. Those mics didn’t perform as well.

I was skeptical about getting the same brand but very elated I took a chance.

I wanted to start creating some better sounding content for my YouTube, Facebook and other videos. I’ve had success with my videos and really needed to step-up my audio game. Many of my older videos sounded pretty echoey and sometimes the audio was washed-out with background noise.

I needed a wireless mic. After doing some research I came across the Blink 500, I watched the product and demo videos. Three things appealed to me and stood out: lightweight, compact and easy-to-use.

I did not want to be weighed down with a bunch of adapters, mounting gear and heavy components, and I also did not want to spend a week with my head in a manual, struggling to figure it out. Plus, the price for 2 wireless mics seemed too good to pass up.

As always B&H had it in stock, when everyone else was sold out. My 1st impression was: Wow this is light and the whole system fits in my palm. That’s crazy. When I plugged the receiver and turned the transmitters on, it just worked.

No fuss, no reading the manual, nothing… I was off recording a video in literally a few seconds. The receiver added no real weight to my phone and that was filming as normal, except now I had two wireless microphones transmitting perfectly.

As I got to use the system a bit more, I experimented with and without the lavs and a level controls on the transmitters. Trying to dial-in the best sound an get an idea how I am going to use these. While I do prefer to use the lavs, it is good to know that in a pinch I can just click the transmitter to someone’s shirt.

I also liked being able to use the transmitters like a handheld mic. Which is perfect for me when interviewing people on the street. Overall, I don’t think I could be happier with this system. The mics sounds great, when using one mic, or two.

It also doesn’t weigh me down and I can always keep it with me for when inspiration strikes to make another video. It has significantly stepped up my audio for my videos and given me the flexibility that I wanted to create better content.

People are already commented to let me know that my audio sounds much better than before. I am going to buy the Blink RX receiver soon too, so I can use these same mics with my soon to be acquired Sony RX100 mkVII.

But I will have to wait until my bank account catches up with my dreams. Thanks B&H!.

I bought these because I already have a pair of Beringer MPA40BT-PRO battery powered PA speakers and this product effectively adds another channel to the on board mixer. Just plug in the receiver to the USB input, set the level on the microphone body and you are ready to go.

Sound quality is good and a fair volume can be achieved before excessive levels cause howl round. I was hoping that the receiver could be used in any available USB socket but there seems to be excessive delay in the signal line.

I have not yet fully evaluated this aspect of their performance. All in all a very good product; recommended!.

This is a quality product for a fraction of the price of its competitors. It has its own transeiver in the form of a USB dongle, which makes for easy storage, carriage and setup. I use several Behringer amplifiers, but I’m not sure this USB dongle would work with any other manufacturer’s amplifier that has a USB wireless connector and also, each dongle is matched to its own microphone, but I haven’t tried using two of these Behringer microphones using just one wireless dongle.

I have now purchased 2 of this supreme product. Works like magic. Battery life is amazing and it is so light-weight you really don’t know you are holding it. Once again, thank you for the prompt service DJ City.

I emcee a few dozen times a year and needed a dual wireless mic system without breaking the bank. Having done research on the PHENYX PRO PTU-71 I decided to give it a shot figuring for less than a $100 what did I have to lose.

First time I set this system up I found these to hook up easily, work fantastic and have a sound quality nowhere near what I expected. The sound is awesome and rivals other systems costing hundreds of dollars more.

In fact I have added a second PHENYX PRO PTU-71 for a total of 4 wireless mics. A good friend uses Shure wireless mics in his church and agrees that these rival their far more expensive counterparts.

This is a great value entry level cordless Mic with a really nice sound no drops and very little background noise neither. Head unit feels of great quality, the only two practical faults I can add is the handset feels a little plasticy and cheap with no real grip and the micromesh head has no anti roll sides.

But putting that to one side this unit overall is a good Mic at the right price a well deserved 4 outta 5 from me guys.

The microphone is a bit sensitive in special wen you grab the handle, so is advised to keep your hand in one place when you are use it. Overall the sound quality is excellent and no background noise will affect the sound.

I will advise to purchase a windshield.

Regarding sound quality and performance it is very clean but when used as a wireless mic system and the receiver is coupled to another sound processor it hums. Other wireless mic systems of good quality do not hum.

If this can be resolved it will be a very good alternative to expensive brands.

I have the stereo channel version of the wireless go II for my sony A7IV and wanted to get the single channel version for my Gopro Hero 10, unfortunately this one had a defect with the Mic jack. There was alot of ground noise interference whenever i would connect a Lavalier go mic to it.

As soon as i disconnect the mic the wireless go II Transmitter sounded fine. I have 3 Lavalier go mics and all 3 of them did that ground noise. I then tested out my stereo version with rhe two Transmitters and 1 receiver and those worked perfectly with rhw Lavalier go mics connected so i had to return it.

I ended up picking up the original Wireless go and that workes exactly as described with the same Lavalier go mics i tried on this model. So i still recommend it as my unit had a defect and thats the first time i have ever had a faulty product from rode.

Rode makes premium quality products and this little mishap will NOT change my mind on buying from them.

I have a very basic setup but this mic enhances it 100 fold. It has clear sound when paired with my Sony ZV1. Battery life is really good for my needs. The twist on wind screen is much better than the previous version.

I will say it picks up sound really well. I got ambient conversations picked up by the mic so be aware of the placement. Definitely worth every penny.

I’m gonna start with the bad points as we all know these do a great job at recording clear sound and work flawlessly on their own. The trouble comes with connecting them to a device, for some reason its hit and miss with my recordings whether or not they will show up on the video of the camera theyre plugged into.

You have no way of knowing if theyre recording to a device, a little camera icon would have been helpful or something just to let you know its recording to a device and not the onboard memory. This leaves you with the mild stress of not knowing if youre gonna have to spend ages trying to sync up the sounds, or if it did its job and recorded the sounds to the device.

One such device that is very problematic is the insta360 one r. The sound quality on the one r is good mostly but it always gets bump sounds and knock sounds even though the camera isnt moving. (I think thats the wind reduction option?) So naturally you want to use a better mic for your 360 camera shots but you never know if its recording to the one r or not.

The other problem is the very low sound level at which everything is recorded. Gotta have my speakers and pc sound up at 100% to just hear what the recording is doing. Gotta edit each sound file in an editor to bring the levels up.

Dunno whythey have the lower db levels to choose from, if anything it needs a boost function. One small complaint is I wish you could remove the shirt clip things so you could attach some velcro or 3m tape to the back for mounting.

But thats my personal problem and wont effect many people who just use it for vlogging or any situation where its just gonna be attached to your clothes or bags. Other than those two things, theyre very light, easy to connect to your clothing, you can do action sports with them and have no sound issues, my action cameras get knocking, clicking and wind sounds, none of that with these mics.

You can run around with one strapped to your shirt and not even get any sounds of it flopping around with your shirt or knocking against your chest. The sound quality really is the clearest I have had on a mic (I havent owned many so that probably means nothing coming from me haha) I wear one on my wrist and the other on my shirt collar, just under my chin.

Works perfectly and I dont notice any difference in the way it picks up my voice from wrist level to being just under my chin – both are just as clear and the voice under the chin isnt even any louder than the voice on the wrist.

Which means you can mount it to a wrist band if you dont want the mic to show in yourvideo for whatever reason, it doesnt need to be in close proximity to your mouth. The range at which the mic picks up voices at an acceptable loudness before they start to sound like a background person is about 1m then you will notice the voice get farer away sounding.

This was impossible to find info about online so I hope this is useful to someone. The largest distance I have seen it pick up a voice is around 6m, but that sounds very far away, like someone talking to you from a distance and you cant quite make out what theyre saying.

Lasts all day pretty much, I can go out to a game day and know that I dont have to stop recordings or charge the devices cos they last the entirety of the event filled portion of the day for me.

This small, robust and versatile microphone is worth its weight in gold. It might seem as an expensive system at first compared to other wireless alternatives but the built-in advantages in the Rode Wireless GO II will quickly pay for itself.

Some of the features include: Split-audio, backup recording, markers, MP3/WAV export, local/remove mute and powers saving mode. The microphones can also be used as stand-alone units, or connected directly to lav-microphones.

Thanks to the option of recording a backup track (with a -20dB track) simultaneously with your normal (can be adjusted from -30dB to 0dB) recording, the risk of you missing out on important sound is next to none.

During a recent shoot we did, were interviewing two subjects, we had the microphones set to -6dB and the talking heads interview sounded great! However, after the interviews finished, the subjects performed a musical number with guitars and song, using amplifiers and loudspeakers; and by mistake I forgot to set a lower dB recording level on the microphones, so the entire recording sounded distorted and awful – had it not been for the automatic -20dB backup track directly from the microphones themselves we would’ve had no sound at all; but thankfully the microphones backup system worked as intended and we were able to restore the backup sound recording in post, and publish the shoot with amazing sound! The only drawback with these microphones is that they NEED Rode’s own USB-C cables to properly sync up with the Rode App – the cables are fortunately included, but worth knowing.

A charging case for the 3 devices (2TX + 1RX) would have been nice, but they charge quite quickly when connected to a power source.

If you are looking to combine two persons speaking into a single signal that you can input into a DSLR or mirrorless camera this will work for you. If you want to deal with recordings in post, again, this will do the trick.

But this product fails in three critical ways. 1) You cannot separately control the volume of each transmitter. This means that you need to have an extra device connected to the receiver to separate the left and right channel, then adjust the volume of each signal.

If you’re single person running a live mix and one speaker is soft spoken person and the other loud, using the transmitters and receivers without an additional mixing device will produce horrible results.

2) You must use a laptop with the Rode Central app to extract audio saved to the transmitters. The Rode system saves audio to UGG files. The Rode Central app converts those files to MP3 or WAV files.

This is horrible for run-and-gun content creators. The ability to connect the system to any computer, phone, or tablet and extract your audio files is essential for collaboration and when you need to quickly download and edit your content.

3) There is no 3. 5mm monitoring. If you are using the 3. 5mm jack on a camera that doesn’t have an audio monitoring output, you are essentially recording without a proper check. If you have the luxury of recording multiple times, no problem.

But for documentary work, wedding work, or event work – you will find this limiting at best. You may in post, you’ve missed the mark completely. I think this is good for a hobbyist, especially if you find it used.

But for professionals, unless there is a critical firmware update, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I just purchased the Rockville RWM90U. The description video on Rockville’s website states the the microphones are “heavy duty, metal microphones”. That is a blatant lie. The microphones that came with the unit are cheap plastic! If you are interested in any Rockville product, I would suggest that you do not believe the product descriptions they provide.

I don’t know whether I received the correct product. I thought the 4 handheld microphones would be metal, they are made of hard plastic material. A better detail description of the product is needed.

Very good product and unbelievably affordable. I have seen similar products priced way out of my price range and am glad I found this product. Each mic works on its own frequency and you can adjust the volume of each one easily.

Purchased to work with a JBL Partybox 310 but I had to contact JBL as I was surprised to find the receiver did not fit very well on the back of the Partybox. I had the following reply from JBL Harman “Sadly, when using the wireless microphone this will cover some portion of the input/output board, however can be adjusted to the use case scenario when needed wether you need access to the 12v DC input, or you need access to the Daisy Chain output.

Whilst the instrument/Microphone 2 controls will be covered regardless, we recommend you remove the dongle momentarily to set these, and then reconnect. ” Overall the receiver is not perfect in design but JBL have assured me they have taken my feedback onboard so I am sure this is something they will look into rectifying in the future.

They’ve been able to give me work arounds, and even though this isn’t ideal, it not much trouble to go through as what matters for me is the quality of the microphones and they do not disappoint. Great quality and value for money, highly recommended over any cheap alternatives!.

Stummschalten geht bei den Mikros nicht. Wenn es aus Metall und nicht Plastik wäre, wäre das Gefühl hochwertiger. Aber: super einfach zu bedienen. Klangqualität ist nicht schlecht. Sehen schön aus und fühlen sich generell gut an.

Ob’s die 100€ wert sind wage ich zu bezweifeln. Da gibt’s bessere.

Mit der JBL-Partybox kann dann schon Karaoke losrocken. Allerdings gibt das erste Mikro ohne Aueneinfluss schon nach ca 1 Stunde auf. Auch nach Batteriewechsel geht nix. Das Schaft-Display bleibt dunkel, kein Ton.

JBL hat den Verkauf offensichtlich zwischenzeitlich eingestellt. Ich nehme an, dass es da ein Problem mit der Produktionsqualitt gibt.

I like this wireless guitar set a lot. It has a clear signal, no static while I walk around the room. The system came with everything but the batteries for the UB3 transmitter. The Receiver is powered by a wall adapter and connects to the amp with a guitar plugin cord.

The controls on the receiver are a round power button on the face and a small dial on the back for volume. The Transmitter is powered by two AAA batteries and connects to the guitar with a short cord that has a screw-in connector for the unit itself.

The Transmitter housing and battery door are durable and light in weight. The Transmitter has to on-off switches on the top for power and audio. The top is also where the cord screws in. There is one antenna on the UB3 and two on the Receiver that fold down.

The antennas are durable. They are not the cheap ones prone to falling off. The transmitter has a stiff metal clip on the back. I use it to clip the UB3 to the guitar strap. This is a quality system and I prefer it over the other wireless guitar systems(Rowin,Donner) I have used.

While the sound quality of this set is very good, I must warn others of the poor quality of the mic-transmitter pack cord. I purchased my 1st set in 2014 and during my 2nd year of use, the unit began to fail b/c of a faulty connection of the mic cord to the bodypack.

Sound became intermittent based on variable movement of the cord where it inserts into the bodypack. I’ve experienced this with multiple cheap earbuds but was disappointed it happened in this particular headset.

More frustrating is that the unit was exchanged via extended warranty only to have the same problem occur ~1 1/2 yrs. later. I don’t plan to purchase another Nady wireless headset in the future and will probably notify the company of my experience.

I also own a Shure wireless headset for over a decade in which this problem did not occur. I’ll use that for now though I prefer the sound of the Nady.

I have been a DJ for over 35 years. My Shure wireless mic died after an amazing 23 years and thousands of shows. I decided to give this Nady a try. It sounded pretty good so I thought I got a good mic for a good price.

very quickly the screw-on base that holds the battery compartment started cracking and disintegrating and the rubber-like coating on the mic started pealing and flaking off. I have used the mic exactly 11 times over the last 6 months and when I hooked it up this weekend there was so much static and distortion that it was unusable.

Gave it to a friend who does electronic repair on sound equipment and his diagnosis was “this is just junk. I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did” So, considering what I paid for it, I basically rented a mic for around $8 per show and now I have a paperweight.

nbspI bought this wireless mic system because I needed something to use in a public speaking environment. Specifically, I wanted a mic to take to the occasional convention panel. Yes, I know the organizers usually provide mics for the speakers, but those tend to be small fixed position mics unless you’re on one of the stages.

I like to move around when I speak. I decided to get this set in particular for two reasons. First off, it’s not a fixed frequency kit. There’s no way to know what frequencies the mics provided by a venue will use, so there’s always a chance that I’ll have interference.

Instead, this kit provides you with 100 frequencies per mic. Even better, while the frequencies for the mics are controlled by the base unit like most other multi-frequency kits, you sync the mics using IR instead of RF.

I’ve had issues with one base unit swapping the frequencies of multiple nearby mics before, and this change eliminates that issue almost entirely. The second reason I picked this kit is because it comes with a body pack that can be used with either a lavalier mic or a headset mic both styles are included.

I much prefer using these styles of mics during presentations because they leave my hands free, and I tend to gesture a lot when I speak. One nice surprise with this kit is the quality of the handheld mic.

Not only is the sound much more rich than many other wireless kits I’ve used in the past, but the mic capsule can also be removed and replaced. That a nice little ext.

Works perfectly for my main purpose,which is a mic for mc\speakers. Also tried it on vocals and was pleasantly suprised. Wouldn’t want to walk out in the middle of a stadium with it, but in farly large halls\rooms it does just fine.

I use it at Mexican family reunions. As MC and provide background Mexican & Latin Jazz music from Pandora from I phone & blue Tooth. Allows for great interaction & versatility, espcially at outdoor park.

I am a DJ for weddings and I needed an inexpensive mic and this one worked great! Good range and clear sound. The casing is very cheap feeling, but everything works well as advertised.

While they do transmit wirelessly, they do what they are intended to do. They are very cheaply made. Really cheesy in the way they are put together. you have to speak directly into the very top of the microphone to have any sound go through.

You cannot speak to the microphone from any angle of the side. You can only get audio speaking directly into the tip. Both microphones have a on/standby/off switch. While having two microphones on, your desired audio will go through the system, and there is no undesired noise coming through the audio output.

When putting the switch into standby, it is exactly as if they are switched on (no change from being switched on). When you switch the units off, there is terrible noisy electronic sounding feedback going through your amplifier.

It is horrible. But it only happens when you switch the microphones to the off position.

Upon first use, one of the mics has a fuzzy sound. Channel stated on mic is opposite to what is stated on receiver. For the price, better to buy a Rockville.

Tried the microphones on three sets of Bose Speakers, in addition to the Karaoke machine. The sound quality didn’t enhance with the change in speakers. I can’t be bothered in the return process, would not recommend these to anyone, these had been bought for family fun.

This microphone system is cheap but surprisingly works pretty well. Theyre not Shure microphones of course but for the money I dont think you can beat them. Sound quality is good. Range from the microphone to the base is acceptable.

They are very light and that concerns me in that I dont think they will be able to stand up to any abuse at all like accidental drops. Moving your hand on the microphone causes noise, so there is no changing from one hand to the other without hearing it.

Also theyre not able to pick up well when singing into the side of the microphone. You must sing directly into the top of the microphone. Again though, for the money I dont think you can find better sounding microphones.

If it werent for the limitations with the noise when the mic in your hand and the directional pick up issue, I wouldve rated them 5stars.

Measurements are left to right. I have always bought one where the measurements are right to left. This is what I have always seen in the store. The one I bought on line, I assumed measured right to left.

It did not. The cutting surface is great, no issues with the quality. Just disappointed in what I received. If you are left handed it would be great.

Just used it on a Karaoke gig and it worked perfectly. I use these inexpensive mics because the get beat around by singers. Easy and cheap to replace. Not a Shure, Sennheiser, or other high end brand, but they serve the purpose.

The sound quality is excellent. I have used two of these in environments where there are 30 or more other wireless mics in the venue, and thanks to the scanning feature, I don’t have to manually look for frequencies that don’t interfere.

I could not find any other wireless systems in this price range with a snap-on transmitter that had both 48 volt phantom power and switchable mic/line, two important features for me. It is sturdy and well constructed, not plastic.

I also like the fact that this system uses AA batteries instead of 9 volt. The only downsides I can find is that Sony does not provide a battery meter for the transmitter in the receiver, as some other systems in this price range offer, and the mini to XLR cable is hotwire 3, which means that you can’t buy less expensive generic spares (which are typically hotwire 2).

( I’m not an expert – maybe all wireless system mini to XLR cables are this way. ) Still, overall, I would rate it at five stars.

You may try to save some money by going with another brand (Azden, Comica, etc) but youll be disappointed. I owned one of these Sony kits in the past but had to retire it due to the new FCC frequency rules.

I decided to spend less on another brand, but sent it back after one day of use. Terrible signal and static. With the Sony kit you know its going to work and have a great range. Spend the money for peace of mind.

This 3rd generation Sony UWP is the best yet! The addition of scan and IR syncing is huge! Fast and easy to scan for a free frequency and sync! The duel channel receiver (sold separately) is a huge time and space saver.

When used on a Sony camera with MI hot shoe the receiver becomes one with the camera. No cables or batteries needed! Audio quality is awesome and RF signals are rock solid. The only thing I recommend is up grading the lav mic to a ECM44, to improve sound quality.

I use the kit lav as a backup. Battery life on the transmitters is very good, about 8 hours with alkaline batteries. I use the plug on to get audio from bands and DJ’s by plugging into their amplified speakers.

Also use with a SM58 mic for handheld use. Been waiting for a system like this and at this price it’s an amazing value!.

I’m not a DJ but enjoy having a nice pro audio system. Pro audio systems can be pricey but more than anything, they are bulky and an eyesore for those who lack space to store them. I previously owned a rack that consisted of two power amps, an eq, mixer and needed a wireless mic system to make things more convenient.

I purchased this VocoPro setup because it comes with four mics and fits in perfectly with my rack. Since none of my relatives and friends had pro audio systems, it only made sense for them to borrow mine.

These mics were very useful for home use and in small rooms. Once you place them in medium to large rooms, the ambiance of the room somehow increases the effects of feedback. Too far and you fix the feedback but then the connections weren’t reliable.

When set in proximity to fix the connection issue, the feedback problem increased. I’m no professional but have used them in settings where professionals attended. Even with their help, the same issues persisted.

Their suggestions were all the same; get a better brand. So I borrowed a friend’s Shure wireless system that costed about the same (but with only a single mic) and the results exceeded my expectations.

I have since sold the system to purchase a more reliable one. I love the multiple mic setup but they are not reliable.

The goods: The hard case comes with all the gear you need. It is an attractive case, that will sure take up a beating. The receiver is top-notch, which you can select which mic used with the color code/match.

The antennae pair are awesome, which allows you bend them around with them being broken. Hands down, this is the bang for your buck! 10/10.

We bought this wireless system for use with our Church Praise Team. It seems like a good quality product. The set up was very simple–just plug in and use. We appreciate the fact that singers can turn their own mics on and off, thus eliminating noise when removing mics from the mic clip.

The sound quality is better than expected–much better than the dynamic mics they replaced. We purchased an “open box” system for a greatly reduced price. We have used musiciansfriend enough that we have come to trust their great customer service, so we were confident that an open box product would be reliable or they would take care of us.

I did not notice any signs of previous use. The system looked like new. It came in a foam lined metal case, which seemed like it would serve folks well that had to pack up this system for travel. I believe even the full price would be a good deal on this system.

The sound is okay for a speaker but I wouldn’t use it for singing without lots of effects. The range was actually pretty good and would be perfect for most of my uses. The biggest issue is that it cuts in and out too much.

I tried using them as the runner mics for Q&A at a town hall meeting and we lost a good chunk of the question because the mic cut out. The first time I thought perhaps it was distance and the bodies between the transmitters and receiver.

But it happened again when they were mere meters from each other. And it happened in tests. Sometimes when we turned it on one of the other mic wouldn’t connect. We’d have to switch it on and off several times.

As I’m writing this, I’m wondering why I’m keeping the bloody thing. But the answer is simple. it’s cheap. And when it works, it works well. So until I can afford to drop a couple grand on a professional set, I’ll use these.

Bought these microphones at Sam Ash and absolutely love the sound quality. Not only was my salesperson knowledgeable and courteous with no hard sales tactics. He walked me through the hook up process and it was so easy! These Mike’s can be adjusted to any level you’re comfortable with and the battery life is long lasting.

Bought this to get a good clear no buzz voice on our church’s camcorder when we record sermons each week. Yes, the voice was exceptionally clear and high quality for what we paid- 5 stars for sound! Absolutely no buzzing from this headset (our old one has an annoying background buzzing).

But to our disappointment the range is very short, probably strongest at about 15-20 feet which doesn’t work well for long distance recording, but even when super close to its reciever the signal can be blocked by everyday items like corners, tables or even just unobstructed movement.

For those reasons we returned it and I gave it 3 stars. Plus the pastor didn’t like the huge size of the mics wind shield. It is about the size of a 1-1/2 or 2in bouncy ball and looked kinda out of place and odd.

But honestly the sound quality is 5 stars otherwise.

Excellent wireless for vocals. Aside from this headworn set, I also have a System 9 just like it except that it has a guitar cable instead of a headworn mic. both work great. I highly recommend Audio-Technica System 9 wirelss gear.

Had a gig where I primarily use the Shure blx188 system and had this to supplement. Had dropouts on this unit beyond 30 feet and the shure unit was perfect at around 100 feet. Going to resell this unit as it’s too unreliable.

I’m being nice but this unit is junk.
