20 Best Wide Width Shoes For Women (2023 Updated)

I have never heard of this name brand of shoe. I would have given this particular shoe 4 stars. I purchased 3 pairs, white, black, navy. I was looking for a sleek flat shoe that would hold up. The black pair are comfortable and fit good.

This Navy pair for some reason the top edge that is sewn around the shoe is very scratchy, rough, stiff and does not feel comfortable like the black pair and rubs against my skin and is irritating. I am thinking of sending this pair back and maybe ordering another pair in the navy to see if they feel like the black ones.

I’ve not tried on the white pair yet. I just received them 2 days ago. I’ve worn the black pair a few times and I am breaking them in and they seem to be working fine for me. I don’t know if these shoes are leather.

They feel like leather but not as soft or forgiving/flexible as leather. They are a little stiffer than leather. These were a little big – I ordered a size 7, but if I order a 6. 5 they would more than likely be too tight, They do not slip off my feet so I would say for me, they fit true to size but with a little wiggle room in the toe area.

I wore these twice. I am normally wear size 7. 5, purchase these in size 8. All I wanted was a nice looking and comfortable pair of flats. I developed blisters the back of my left heel. Also rubbed against my pinky toes.

I will be returning these shoes. I wish the stores had more variety and I didn’t have to purchase online. Shoes are one thing I like to purchase in person, unfortunately during these times I have to resort to online shopping.

I ordered 2 pair – navy & snakeskin. I was concerned about some of the other negative reviews but I’ve been looking for a pair of navy ballet flats with a dark sole for a long time. When I found the Clara, I jumped and ordered both colors.

I ordered my normal size and width and they fit perfectly right out of the box. They’re comfortable, don’t rub and don’t “gap” when I walk. The best feature of these shoes is the versatility; they can be worn with jeans, chinos, shorts, skirts.

In an open toe shoe is usually 8-8. 5, and depending on how the shoe is cut and the length, in most cases Wide Width. This shoe is a true 8. 5W, even the length. I first ordered the 8W according to reviews that said shoe runs large and go down a 1/2 size.

I have a high instep and broke the bone in my left foot twice, so I need the width to be wider for that foot. If you have a bunion, hammer toes or just a wider foot, get a wide width, you will not regret it.

If you have a slender or average feet with no issues, then average width will work. Hope this helps.

I wanted to love these shoes, they are so cute, but I had to return them. I bought in my usual size and they fit, however they still hurt a LOT! The edge/corner where the toe cap joins to the side of the shoe was digging into the side of my foot.

Not because my feet were wide (mine are narrow/regular), but because there is zero give to the shoe, so as soon as I was standing, the weight of my body was pushing my foot into the edge and felt like it was about to be cut.

For that reason alone I new I had to return them. On top of it, the quality is very cheaply made, the outer decorative coating wasn’t applied very well, so upon closer inspection, you could see where next to the sole, the coating was too high/low in places.

I returned in store and the cashier said this is the number one brand she sees getting returned, primarily because of how uncomfortable they are.

I was so excited to order these shoes. I love a t-strap heel, which is not something easy to come by in wide width. Finally they arrive and they are as adorable as anticipated! I tried them on and they fit great too.

Only problem is that I can’t wear them because they absolutely reek of cigarette smoke smell. It’s been a week of them being outside on the porch and I still can’t get the smell to go away. I am hopeful that someday I’ll actually get to wear them out of the house.

Beware if you have a sensitivity to smoke.

Fits well runs a little big. I went down 1/2 size. And although I ordered Time Tru no boundaries is the label. But I’ve noticed they’re doing that in the store as well. Putting No boundaries items in the Time and Tru section.

And being curious they are made in the same factory of course made by Walmart. So don’t be surprised if you order one brand and get another. I have both because I needed size down and it’s the SAME SHOE.

I bought a pair of these 2 summers ago, and they’ve worn like iron. They’re easy to slide on and off, and you can throw them in the washer if you want to. The arch support is limited, so bear that in mind.

Beautiful dress shoe. The color is a darker green than the picture shows. The gold on the heel is a classy touch. This brand is always comfortable.

These flats are so beautiful. The detail work is pretty and appears to be very well made HOWEVER these shoes are incredibly uncomfortable. The toe box is very narrow and too tight for me to make it work.

It’s pretty disappointing but I will be returning these. They may work if you have very narrow feet.

If you have wide feet this is the shoe! Because I have wide chunky feet it’s hard to find the right heels. I buy from size 9-8. 5 and 8W. I bought these 8 in standard size and winged it, and it was the best choice I made.

The fit is perfect and very comfortable, the bands in the front are not tight on my fat feet lol. I love these. The perfect shoe for church, I know I will be comfortable to jumó and worship because the hight is also perfect I never wear anything over 2.

5in and these are just comfortable.

I have wide feet and purchased a wide in my usual size. The shoe was uncomfortable as soon as i slipped it on and walked a few steps. My feet have gotten accustomed to shoes with more cushion/padding on the sole and these didn’t seem to off much.

Plus the diagonal straps looked tacky to me once i put the shoe on. I love the wine color but these aren’t for my feet.

I have been wearing these shoes for at least 10 years. Sadly, the quality is not what it used to be. The last couple years, (Doris black) right heal cover comes off after 7 mos. It makes the back heal area slippery when walking on certain types of floors.

In Nov of ’20, I slipped and fractured my knee cap. I reorder a new pair in July 2021. In 2022, the heal cover came off again! I am giving them another try. I hope they have fixed this issue. For the price, I would expect better quality.

Since I have a very narrow foot, Trotters has been my go-to brand to look for my shoes. They don’t have many trendy styles, but mostly have classic styles and colors which I prefer. When I find a pair of shoes like the Doris style I keep them for quite a while and sometimes order the same style in more than one color.

Doris is one of those shoes.

I have a fractured sesmoid bone in my foot. On the same foot I have a tailors bunion. Both caused by wearing pretty but impractical shoes for at conferences. I have tried other shoes like from Naturalizer and Vionic and my foot still screamed due to the fracture.

These shoes actually do not hurt! Trotters, please use the arch support and cushioning in this shoe to make a strappy summer business sandal with a 1 1/2 tapered heel that looks sexy.

I bought these 3 weeks ago and just got them in the mail. When tracking my order it seemed to stall for several days and no information could be found so I worried I would never get them. Once they finally arrived I tried them on and while they fit enough that I don’t feel like sending them back to try on another size they are still kind of big.

I read all of the reviews before choosing a size and ordered a size smaller but they are still slightly larger around the heels. I haven’t worn them for a full day yet but I’m planning on getting some thick no show socks to help with any sliding.

Like I said, they are really cute boots and I like them a lot I just didn’t expect to have to wait so long to get them….

Love Journee collection look and style. Problem is they seem to run big. I normally wear a size 5 1/2 but these always seem to fit like a 6. Some styles I can make due-the extra room compensates for my fat feet.

But most are returned-just like this pair. There are very few choices for a size 5 (are there even any?). Please consider making 5 1/2 true to fit or making a size 5 available. My ratings are based on the Journee collection shoes I was able to keep.

I recently suffered a torn ligament in my foot and have had to buy all new shoes. I am no longer able to wear heels at this time and I need something other than athletic shoes for work and going out.

I bought these Livvy Booties after trying them on in the DSW store. I thought they felt pretty comfortable so decided to purchase them. I wore them on a trip where I had to do quite a bit of walking and they ended up being fabulous.

Now that I see they come in a variety of colors including my favorite print, leopard, I shall be buying more!.

These shoes are comfortable and really lovely. Very easy to walk in. Even my twenty-something daughter, who isn’t into my styles, said, “Mom, those shoes are really nice and they look great. I hope you are keeping them.

” And I planned to, but for one thing. I had ankle surgery and now have a small screw that is apparently in just the right spot to rub against the upper strap just a bit. The shoe fit the other ankle just fine, so it’s not the shoe, it’s the surgery I had.

I am so, so disappointed that they have to go back, but I highly recommend them for anyone else.

They’re the cheap knockoff to the Dolce Vita sandals. They’re fairly comfortable, except they have subtle design and manufacturing flaws. I noticed that straps are loose and one is looser than the other.

I had to attach foam strips to make them fit my feet better but overtime as you walk in them, the straps stretch which makes them loose and unsecured for walking. A real flaw with cheap and commercial manufacturing.

Overall, they’re cute and go with a lot of my light colored outfits, but practically, there’s so flaws to be aware of.

This shoe is stylish, warm, and comfortable. I purchased the boot to take outdoor walks. They were comfortable and supportive right out of the box. I also wear them with jeans when running errands. It’s great to have a stylish cold weather boot in a my size.

I am a 12 with a medium to narrow foot and wore the boots with a medium weight sock. The side zip makes for easy on and off and the ties adjust for comfort.

I purchased the wine color which appears darker on pictures with dark sole but mine was lighter and light sole. I was very disappointed considering the price I paid. I was going to return it, but my sister like them.

So, I gave them her instead of the hassle to return. Overall, it is a nice boot. Feel really soft inside.

These boots were exactly what I’d been shopping for. I work on my feet all day, so comfort is paramount. I’m so sad that the fit is far from comfortable: I have to return them. I really liked the styling and warmth they would have offered.

They run small, particularly width-wise, and the leather is stiff. My search for comfort+cute continues.
