Reviews From Real Customers
I bought these Lavazza espresso barista intenso beans to use in my bean-to-cup machine as we are keen coffee fans in our house. The beans produced a lovely, full-bodied coffee with a good crema. The coffee has a lovely aroma and the taste has a hint of chocolate.
The beans are a combination of Robusta and Arabica, and are well blended and roasted to give just the right balance. The large 1kg bag provides good value, and I’m pleased I opted to try it. I’m looking forward to trying this coffee in an Espresso Martini!.
First created in 1975, this multi-region blend still serves as the foundation of our handcrafted espresso drinks in Starbucks stores around the world. Reviews From Real Customers
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I was super happy to receive this product to test, my daughter loves Starbucks. I however haven’t been a huge fan. But I knew she’d be excited to test this product out along with me.
With notes of toffee and dusted cocoa this medium roast bend of Starbucks House blend is simply delicious! We love using our Keurig coffee maker and these k-cups are optimally designed by Keurig to fit your Keurig coffee maker.
Which means you can rest assured that when you’re making this 100% Arabica coffee it’s not gonna cause damage to your coffee maker! Interesting fact that’s on the box this house blend is the original blend the company started out with in 1971! I love when companies tell of their humble beginnings.
Overall a very well made coffee that now both me and my daughter will enjoy from Starbucks.
I love my morning coffee. One of my top favorite coffee companies is Starbucks. I can’t always make a run out to get a cup, so being able to find my favorite blend of Starbucks at the store, to brew at home is the next best choice.
This Veranda blend is definitely one of my favorites. It’s a blond roast, with hints of toasted malt and baking chocolate. Super delicious! A very smooth taste, that both my husband and I really enjoy.
From the first sip, to the very end, it’s not bitter and doesn’t leave any bad after taste. I always use cream and sugar in my coffee, but I think it would taste wonderful without any added items. This light roast blend I believe can be enjoyed by many people, and I’ll definitely be picking up more.
Espresso roast Coffee is a blend of velvet and delicate flavor for excellent creamy consistency/rich taste. An excellent creamy consistency. Begin the day with a delicious cup of coffee.
The illy whole bean medium roast coffee is the perfect choice for coffee lovers who prefer grinding the beans to suit their own individual taste and preparation method. Rich and balanced coffee beans with notes caramel and chocolate.
These beans are very different from prior years. Dark, oily finish that jams semi-automatic espresso machines. Every year at the holidays I purchase these and as expected within 1 grind my machine jammed and I had to tear it apart to clean out the oily bean mess.
Support did assist me in selecting and replacing with Medium Roast – it’s good but noticeably different taste and smell from what I used to purchase before. I know you use many suppliers but that’s your job to help customers sleect the best Illy product for an application.
It’s like your company reformulated and forgot to recalibrate the message for customers. A note on the product page saying what it is suitable for and what it is not suitable for is necessary. And the FAQ page ehhh too many to be obvious and anyway I don’t see it.
The photos use for Intenso whole beans don’t match the beans! Those pics look like Medium Roast.
Crafted specifically for those who want to enjoy espresso, this superbly balanced blend has stout body, rich flavor and perfect crema. Robust and thick, the creamy consistency coupled with a tangy core of flavor is perfect for preparing with your espresso machine to create a Peets Coffee bar-quality espresso.
Peet’s has gone steadily downhill since its days as a closely-held private company. The coffee, most importantly, remains good. But the bags often tear when opened; the tape can no longer be re-used to help seal an open bag; the included clamp is absurdly short and useless when the emptying bag is folded.
The web site doesn’t work properly on a tablet (e. g. , the link to Shoprunner) and requires a laptop or desktop; the shipping information is wildly inaccurate, with inaccurate delivery forecasts and even claims of successful delivery days before the coffee arrives; the two days delivery guarantee through Shoprunner, even when measured from the roast date, is ignored (unlike virtually every other Shoprunner merchant).
The selection of accessories, such as mugs, has been drastically reduced. And this grind, because it combines percolators and French press, is not course enough for French press. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!.
I used to love Major Dickason but the last couple bags I bought tasted really bad. They’ve changed it. One tasted burnt, the other two just tasted off. Not the smooth, rich, deep flavors it used to have.
Also, I noticed that the grinds are now much finer. Not please that Peet’s has raised prices twice, while now offering an inferior and unenjoyable product. I might give it one more try before switching to another brand and producer entirely.
I don’t trust Peet’s anymore. RIP Major Dickason – you always made me look forward to getting out of bed and starting my day with an amazing, flavorful, smooth, rich cup of coffee.
Our master roasters coax the beans along, the heat taking them deep and dark -a recipe for caramelly sweetness so right it’s never been changed. The quest began with a search for the perfect melding of beans and roast, ending months of intense experimentation later with the coffee you’re holding in your hand.
A multi-region blend, roasted the way only Starbucks can. Committed to 100% Ethical Coffee Sourcing in partnership with Conservation International.
I have been buying the Starbucks glass bottle Caramel Frappuccinos for a long time and I absolutely love them, but I had never tried the caramel ground coffee before. Honestly. I didn’t even know they had a caramel ground coffee; so when I saw this, I just had to try it.
With any ground coffees or hot coffees, I always have to add sugar and sweetened creamer because I cannot stand unsweetened coffees or strong coffee taste. I can’t even stand hot tea because it’s not sweet at all.
This coffee, if made the way it is recommended for good, smooth caramel taste, is actually really delicious. I still have to add a little bit of sugar to make it to how I prefer it, but I have never once had to add creamer to this.
I love this coffee so much that I even took some of it with me to the place I do volunteer work at and shared it with them. Even they agreed with my thoughts on this which is that. this coffee is delicious, smooth, and not heavy on the coffee taste if made right.
Curl up with a deep – mysterious cup of dark magic. Roasted by Starbucks Coffee Company – a name you know means good coffee. Special blend of fine Arabica coffees. Extra bold with a relatively sharp, bittersweet espresso flavor.
I love this roast! I’m such a sucker for a strong cup of coffee and this really does it for me. It’s such good quality coffee and tastes amazing for the price! Would definitely recommend to people who like more darker roasts!.

This is the next level for us 2nd wave coffee lovers. This makes Starbucks espresso look like a medium roast. I just got this, cleaned my full rig and grinder just to have a 2nd coffee today and compare it to my morning Death Wish Original.
I did a triple shot and I needed to turn my grinder down further to get the right flow from my Rancilio Silvia. But once it was dialed in, it came out amazingly. So here’s my notes Aroma of the beans: the darkest of dark chocolates Oil Level: VERY HIGH, I’d avoid super-automatic espresso machines with this one Aroma of the brewed espresso: caramel notes, and that dark chocolate Flavor of the shot: burnt caramel.
Wait! Wait WAITTTTT! Don’t look away and go to the medium roast yet. It’s that burnt caramel flavor that a crème brûlée has. It’s bitter and amazing. This makes my mocha absolutely amazing. I’d call it 5/5 but that would mean my Original DW rating is a lie.
Ha! Sorry for the joke, but I had to. Honestly, the Espresso Roast might be my new faveourite; it’s deep and flavourful, and makes a beautiful cup of coffee. Now I need the five pound bag, so I can alternate with our Dark Roast! The Espresso Roast tastes as dark and full as sin, and is so rich and smooth, you’ll be carried on silky wings into your day, which will start like a symphony as the coffee pulls your brain into an awakening.
Crafted specifically for espresso, this superbly balanced blend has stout body and rich flavour. Tasting notes: Rich caramelised sweetness with a stout body and a thick golden brown cream. Peets Whole Bean Espresso Forte is the Peet’s coffee selection for all Peets espresso beverages served in Peets cafs.

A medium roast with a clean and lightly roasty basic coffee flavor with some faint caramel and nutty flavors that you have to search for. Still a nice cup either brewed or from a moka pot. There are definitely worse coffees out there.
So much depends on personal taste but I find this coffee to have a good flavour, nice crema and isnt harsh. I use a bean to cup machine and am always on the lookout for a great coffee. I would buy this one again.
Eight O’Clock Coffee, 100% Colombian Whole Bean is the finest blend of award-winning 100% Colombian coffee beans. Eight OClock 100% Colombian Coffee is a medium roast with a lingering sweet finish. so rich and full-bodied, youll understand why Arabica beans from Colombia are so sought after.
Pleasantly surprised with the flavor. I bought it needing another item to get free shipping, but it ended up being one of the best tasting cups of coffee I’ve had in a long time. Lots of bright fruity overtones of some of the African sources, great smooth base flavor, and just enough of the roasting depth, without being over-roasted so that’s all you taste.
Equal to or much better than a lot of the way more expensive beans, much to my surprise. I don’t use drip, so don’t know how it does with that extraction method. [Vacuum-insulted press pot, medium fine grind, 190F water, 15-20 min extraction time] This became my normal everyday coffee of choice.
Good surprises are rare these days, and this happened to be one of them.
Eight O’Clock Dark Italian Espresso Dark Roast is my coffee of choice. My ONLY choice. I am disappointed that Walmart no longer stocks it in their shelves. There is no other coffee like this. It has the body and depth that the others lack and has a wonderful taste.
I have an espresso machine but I brew this coffee just as I would regular coffee. Please don’t drop this item from your product line.
The best “budget” coffee around. I prefer buying from smaller, local roasters but there aren’t many where I live, not to mention when you drink a lot of coffee, buying from them frequently can get expensive! I searched online for which store brand coffee fanatics love and Eight o clock was mentioned over and over, specifically the espresso but that seems to be a little difficult to find.
I opted for the original and was honestly impressed. I drink this almost every day now iced, or hot it’s always rich and full bodied. I’ve also tried their specialty flavors like coconut and maple whiskey, and those are excellent as well.
You can’t find them everywhere but they aren’t that hard to find either. Overall for the price and compared to other brands with the same price point Eight o clock coffee is the best in my opinion.
Enjoy truly gourmet coffee at home. Don’t let the smoothness fool you – this coffee is as flavorful as it is sophisticated. After all? there’s a reason why this is the coffee served in the best and most popular restaurants in South Florida.
Pilon Gourmet whole bean coffee can be ground to your liking and brewed in any coffee maker you have.
Reviews From Real Customers
Pilon® Gourmet Espresso Coffee is the best coffee I have ever drank. We use it in our drip coffee maker as well as our espresso machine. We have tried other coffees in the past 20 years, but always go back to Pilon® Gourmet Espresso Coffee.

I first had this amazing organic coffee at my girlfriend’s house. The aroma of the vanilla bean was lovely and flavorful. This was slightly surprising because most organic beans have a stronger flavor.
I enjoyed my fresh cup of coffee so much that I splurged on a bag to share with my mom. This is one of those products that can’t be kept a secret.
I’m not sure where one can buy this product, but my aunt gave me a bag about a week ago because she knows how much I love coffee. I love it!! It is so smooth and rich! It also has the right amount of cinnamon and vanilla so it doesn’t over power the coffee taste.
I will definitely purchase more in the near future!.
I purchased a variety of flavored coffees recently and couldn’t wait until my package arrived to try them. The first 2 flavors we brewed were Smores and Vanilla Caramel. They both were absolutely SUPERB.
Love the smell of the brewing coffee, as well as the delicious flavor. I couldn’t wait to open the Jamaican Me Crazy blend because that is the main reason I purchased coffee from you. When I visited the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the Outer Banks Coffee Company had this flavor.
It was my absolute FAVORITE. Alas, they closed their business and I no longer had my favorite brew. When I searched the flavor online I was led to your company. What utter disappointment when I tasted this flavor.
At first I thought I received a batch that had NOT been flavored but I don’t know how that would have happened. Needless to say I’m truly saddened that your blend did not compare to the one I can no longer get.
A few years ago my friend and I were traveling to Disney world for my birthday. We were staying in the Marriott Grande Vista hotel / resort when one morning upon our touring of the grounds we came across a very nice young girl & a coffee bar for door county coffee.
We are very avid coffee drinkers and it’s a must for us every morning. So we decided to give it a try. All the flavors were so good but by far jingle bell Java surpassed them all. We fell in love immediately.
This was in 2018. It is now 2022 and We still anxiously await for the season to come and purchase our 5lb bags for the season. Since then, we’ve gotten our friends and family to try it and fall in love with it.
The coffee has such a smoothe, sweet taste and it is by far my most favorite coffee in the world. It’s a staple in my house all year long. I have no problem giving every dollar to this company as I’ve never had a bad coffee from them yet.
If you’re wondering if you should buy this coffee. Do it NOW and stock up. You will NOT be disappointed ♥️.
Door County Coffee is the only coffee we purchase and drink; it is the absolute best there is anywhere. But this was a huge disappointment. The aroma is fantastic but the flavor was overpoweringly off.
It tasted like drinking perfume. Our guests could not drink it either. We had purchased the 6 pack and ended up cutting it with plain ground coffee using 1/4 of this to 3/4 of plain coffee just to make it drinkable.
This is the only bad experience we have ever had in purchasing Door County coffee for several years. We love all the other flavors we have tried and the people there are first class.

Every espresso drink, originates right here. It all began in 1975 with the search for the perfect combination of coffee beans and roasting and ended after months of intensive experimentation with exactly the coffee you now hold in your hand.
The recipe for the caramel sweetness is so perfect that it has remained unchanged since then.
Thank you @influenster and @starbucksuk @starbucks for giving me the opportunity to try out your coffee for free in return for an honest review. First of all I just want to say, the coffee grinder was not part of this, I do not want to give people the wrong impression.
Now to the coffee. Its been a little over 4 weeks of me drinking it (had to make sure I had a good feel for the coffee before talking about it). This specific coffee bean is called “blonde expresso roast”.
If you are looking for a smooth, un dry coffee bean then this is most certainly for you. It has just the right amount of flavour. For me, I used about half of the tray of ground coffee and it was the perfect amount.
One of the great things I found after drinking this coffee was that I didn’t have coffee breathe after 😉. I can 100% say that I WILL be buying this in the future. It is #magnifico 😗🤌 On a side note, I think this is the first coffee bean bag that has also kept the beans perfect and where the little silver tabs havnt snapped!! #starbucks #starbuckscoffee #coffeebeans #Influenster #influensterreview #influensteruk #review #productreview.
I was kindly sent this by Influenster to review. I’ll be very honest up front and say I am usually more of a Costa or Tim Hortons kind of gal when it comes to getting my coffee fix when out and about.
No particular reason but just out of habit. So I was excited to try these dark roast beans for my at home habit. Well I have to say I really really enjoyed the flavour of these. I’ll have no problems using this pack up in a week as it recommends on the package.
Now let’s talk about the packaging. It advises we should store in an air tight, opaque container at room temperature. Sounds great, can do, it’s great to see Starbucks wants us to reuse our containers at home and just buy refills.
We really need to get rid of unrecyclable single use packaging after all, it’s only the right thing to do. oh wait, what’s that on the other side of the package. NON RECYCLABLE. With all the resources Starbucks have they need to sort this out.
Foil packs for freshness? Fine! Just make sure it’s ONLY foil and it can be put in most people’s recycling waste. Want a paper covering? Fine just make it removable so that ALSO can be recycled. A mixed material packaging like this is impossible for the average consumer to recycle responsibily.
It defeats the purpose of asking us to decant the beans in to our own container when Starbucks could just as easily sell them in such like a container like I dunno. a jar! Oh wow what a novel idea. Starbucks.
Our espresso coffee beans have a smooth yet sharp character. The delicately dark roast level results ina taste and aroma that is full-bodied with a sweet and creamy complexity. All of our coffees utilise high grown specialty grade 100% Arabica coffee beans rated to meet or exceed specialty coffee criteria.
Our coffee beans are freshly roasted in small batches with the utmost care and attention to a unique roast profile for each type of coffee origin. Our coffee blends utilise several single origin beans each roasted to its optimal level to release the richest aroma and most flavorful cup of coffee.
This means that you will receive high quality coffee fresher than anything you can get your hands on! Whether you choose our whole bean coffee or ground coffee, you will experience an incredibly fresh roast profile with an aromatic coffee smell and a rich but smooth flavour that is not bitter.
This creates an unforgettable experience in every cup. Erased by the progress of modern development, the narrow lane called Verena Street now survives only in our memories. Hoping to recapture the excitement of our childhood, Verena Street now lives on as the namesake of our craft roasted coffee.
Pike Place Starbucks coffee whole bean is my favorite but with the price of groceries lately I’ve started buying Verena Street Coffee and for someone who thinks they are picky about their coffee I have to say I love this stuff! The first flavor I tried was the Lock and Dam and enjoyed so on our latest grocery haul we picked up another Lock and Dam and tried a new flavor the Mississippi Grogg, my wife and I LOVE it! My wife even commented on how great the whole house smelled after brewing the Mississippi Grogg! Definitely seemed to have found a new coffee producer I love.
