20 Best Wet Dry Vac Under $100 (2023 Updated)

I bought a vacmaster less than 2 years ago. Not under heavy use the motor stopped working. I purchased through an ebay store. It had a 5 year warranty. Called them told them what happened they said no problem we will send you a brand new vacuum.

A week later someone calls us and tells us they are not sending us a new vacuum because we bought it brand new still in the box through an eBay store saying it was a third party vendor and that voided the warranty.

You can’t even find where to purchase this product through an authorized dealer Because There Are NONE. So this company will scam their customers into buying a product they can’t stand behind. Not to mention we originally just wanted a new motor to repair it ourselves.

Nope can’t send you one, why not? Because we don’t do that. They told us. So I basically just threw $200+ out the window for a product that isn’t warrantied from a company that can’t stand behind their products.

I gave a one star because it wouldn’t allow me to give zero. Which is what they deserve. Vacmaster you should be ashamed of your customer service and your lack of ability to produce a product you can stand behind.

Where to begin? Not enough space to tell all but I’ll say the power is amazing, it takes some getting used to if you’ve been a 5gal shop vac user for a long time. This will suck up everything near it if you’re not careful 🙂 The accessories are GENEROUS, there’s an adapter and nozzle for every indoor and outdoor task, and they all stow nicely right on the vac so you’re not losing or chasing around trying to retrieve what you need.

(they even included a bonus dust bag that I wasn’t expecting, but I plan to use when I do stuff inside the house). Arrange the accessories in whatever configuration you use most and everything is right there where you need it.

I didn’t think I’d use the blower much but this thing is incredible, I find myself spending WAY too much time fiddling around the shop cleaning up now because it’s so easy and satisfying with this thing.

It looks great too, every guy that comes by comments on it and we wind up firing it up for a demo – they’re amazed and several have added them to their shopping cart since admiring mine LOL! Worth every penny, even if you already have a shop vac.

Coming off an old Sears wet/dry there was a high mark to meet. The Channellock was an absolute loser, with almost no suction. It would not pick up single leg of Romex 12 amp electrical wire, no nails, no wire tacks.

All it picks up is sawdust, so if you expect your shopvac to actually pick up stuff on the floor, this is a hard pass. Keep looking, this unit is a loser.

I’ve been a tradesman for 35 years. I’ve owned nearly every tool that what ever invented. I’ve owned probably 10 shop vacs of various makes and sizes. Some cheap and some expensive. The amount that it costs has nothing to do with the quality of it and how well it will work.

If you purchased a blower and also a shop vac you’d pay twice what this unit does for the price of one. This has got to be the best shop vac I’ve ever used. It comes with every attachment that you can reasonably want to have.

Others offer attachments as an option for an additional cost. The air force and suction is the strongest that I’ve ever used. I have to consider that it’s new and I can’t at this time speak about how long it will last.

Relying on my experience, my gut tells me that this is a must have. If you need a blower and a shop vac, you don’t need to buy two. This unit is well thought out and comes fully assembled except for 4 screws to attach the casters.

Most of it is made of durable plastic, which makes the unit light, but feels a little cheap. But those feeling mostly go away when you start it up. The suction is good even when the sliencer is installed.

The big on/off switch is big and solid. The removable lightweight blower feature separates this unit from others. Overall, I’m happy with this vac.

I picked this vacuum up for $80 and it was amazing at first. Everything worked fine for the first 3 months. I use it for my mobile detailing business pretty often. Well now the suction is half what it used to be.

I tried everything, Cleaning the filters, emptying it out and even taking it apart and trying to fix it. Still nothing worked. Granted It has been used quiet a bit more than an average person would you still expect more for $80-100.

Love everything about it. The suction is more than you need to detail a truck. It’s bad to the bone. It came with ever attachment you could need. Very high quality. Great Christmas present idea! I can think of dozens of things I will do in the house that I couldn’t do before.

I purchased this vacuum primarily for cleaning my cars, we have two cars and a truck. The vacuum has a nice long hose which will reach the front seats and the backseats without pulling or changing position of the vacuum.

It has more to enough power to pull dust and dirt from under the seats and the floor mats are no problem whatsoever. I take out the floor mats wash them and blow them off by changing the hose from vacuum to blower.

In my opinion it’s worth the extra too have a vacuum that is not cumbersome or big and bulky to lug around to clean a car, plus the extra power I do not have to go over and over the carpet or seats to get the results I like.

I have a woodshop also, the vacuum is easy to carry around, can blow sawdust or foreign objects from my projects and cleanup is quicker because of its power. It can not replace a 12 gallon wet and dry if that’s what you need.

It seems to be well made and I expect it to give me years of use.

I absolutely LOVE my Tineco! Especially since I live “out in the woods” it’s difficult to keep floors clean to be able to walk barefoot inside, since everything gets tracked in from outside. The typical sweep up only would last 10 minutes before feeling it needed it again.

And to lug the mop and bucket everywhere just made it even more vile. With the layout of my home, it becomes “well if I’m gonna sweep and mop the kitchen, might as well do the living room, and if I do the living room, might as well do the hall…” etc etc etc.

So I’d defeat myself before even starting. But with this… I’ve had no problems tackling the messes! It’s been a dream being able to walk around barefoot, catch the kids messes easier, clean up the bathroom after my boys (yes! It works wonders with that too!!), and handling a clean house easier.

In a house of 5 (my husband (long beard), myself, 2 boys, and a long haired daughter)…this has helped me keep all the cleaning up afterwards so much easier. Even my daughters hair, which ends up EVERYWHERE has been no match to my Tineco.

It has vacuumed and mopped up everything from grass, dirt, spills, bathroom mishaps, paint, food, mud, glitter (yes glitter!), and so much more. I can not push this machine enough! I can get under my cabinets and get each corner with ease.

The self cleaning is awesome, sucks up all the hair and dirt off the roller to get it ready for the next round. I only wish they had different cleaners. Different smells (the one that came with it smells good but is only a cleaner and deodorizer), even a disinfectant or antibacterial would be awesome.

I’ve always mopped with a “germ killer” because kids bring home a lot more that finger paintings from school, so I’d feel better if that was an option.

The good: – cleaning – While I wouldn’t say this as strong as say, a shop vac, for daily usage and messes it actually does a pretty solid job. My household has 3 dogs and 3 birds, and all the mess that comes along with them.

It’s so nice to just be able to grab this little vacuum and tidy things up so we’re not living in a pig pen. – battery – As long as I’m not spending a ton of time on one spot, the battery life has been decent in my testing.

I’ve always had plenty of power to do all of the downstairs main areas and then some – kitchen, living room, dining room, etc. – ease of use – No cords and no external battery to deal with. Just pick it up off the charger (assuming it has solution) and it’s ready to go.

The roller pulls it forward, which aids in moving it (think self propelled lawn mower) but then also adds a scrubbing motion when you pull against it. Super light weight and easy to use. – charging stand – Though it does sit a little strangely balanced on the charging stand, I really appreciate being able to just pick it up and go.

The base is also the shape of the bottom, so if there’s any dripping it doesn’t hit the floor. – included – extra rollers, filter cleaning solution and cleaning tool The bad: – audible messages – I found these to be a bit on the frustrating side.

Difficult to understand when the vacuum is being used, and multiple “please clean dirty water tank” multiple times, even after it was removed and cleaned. Not exactly “bad” per se, but there aren’t many negatives with this vacuum.

Misc: – app – Not really sure what this is for. – smell – Just like any wet vac, it will start to smell if it’s not cleaned and left to dry regularly. Overall: Overall I think this is a solid wet vacuum.

Because of the menagerie that is my house, it sees constant daily use. I would not consider it a “biggest best clean” solution, but as a daily driver for keeping a constantly used area clean it does a pretty solid job in my opinion.

I believe the Tineco S5 Extreme is an essential household appliance for anyone with kids, pets, or both. It’s a good-looking device, has a fantastic battery life, a useable app function, sweeps and cleans the floors very well, and is easy to maintain thanks to the auto-cleaning mode and fully washable bins.

When you unbox the Tineco S5, you’ll have a few things to put together, which isn’t too bad. The bonus part though is you’ll get three brushheads and two filters out of the gate, which makes it easy to use daily.

The only real maintenance that you need to keep up with is running the auto cleaning mode, which automatically cleans your brushhead after use. Then, you’ll want to rinse out the dirty water bin and filter to keep those clean.

If you don’t, or forget to empty the dirty water bin after a use, it will start to smell. Emptying is easy, but just make sure you do it! Now, as far as using the appliance, it’s pretty straightforward: there are three modes, auto, suction, and max.

Auto mode works decent, as it auto-detects areas of your floor that needs more water and power to clean. I prefer to just clean my floors with max mode, though, as it really seems to pick up more than the auto mode does.

Suction mode is designed to work to quickly clean up spills of any liquid. This mode also was good, but not great. It works but was a little clunky to use at first. The biggest thing is that you’ll need a fully clean water bin and brushhead to really make use of it, which means on-the-fly spills may not be as cut and dry to pick up.

You’ll also find that all this cleaning, even in max mode, is pretty light on the battery life. My main areas of cleaning is my kitchen and dining. These two spots are about 400 sq. ft. , and one run on only max mode will use about 20% of the battery.

It’s hard to imagine a house big enough to completely drain the battery in one use. Once you’re done, plopping it back onto the charging dock will get it charged in about two-three hours from fully depleted.

The only real cons are that the stand is a bit cumbersome and the auto mode isn’t perfect. The stand is hard to figure out how else you might combine the charger and auto cleaning mode in one, so I can’t fault Tineco too much.

As for auto mode, it works as it should; sometimes, though, I just wished more water would come out more frequently like you see in the Max mode by default. I also haven’t tried it, but it would be nice to know if there were at least a few other cleaning solutions recommended to use, third-party-wise.

Overall, this is a great product that actually cleans and does what is advertised.

My first impression was that this doesn’t feel cheap as with many new products these days. The flexible hose felt very heavy duty as does the body of this unit. The suction surpassed my expectations.

After setting it up, I stuck my hand near the hose inlet as a test and based on how it was sucking on my palm I have decided that it has great suction. Another feature that I like is that it has a compartment at the top that stores your vacuum accessories.

However, one thing that I disliked is how loud this unit is. My reference for this observation is in comparison to my old shop vac that this is replacing. This vacuum is really loud, especially when vacuuming out my car in an enclosed garage.

Depending on your job size, this one does very well. The capacity isnt huge, but as long as you empty it as needed, this machine is awesome. And I like that this vac has a specific output port (VS the ones that just output in several directions around the top mounted motor).

I wanted something to keep in the garage to clean my car interior. This unit is so handy and still sufficiently powerful. The blower function is also handy. When purchased on sale it is very good value.

The house should stretch more easily.

Absolutely recommended! I normally don’t bother writing reviews because I think sometimes you just have to try a product for yourself, but in this case I have to give kudos to the manufacturer. I’ve had a love/hate relationship with many vacuums over the years, but so far, it’s only love with this machine! I’ve never had a vacuum that actually cleans my car so well.

All the other reviewers are spot on about the suction power. It picks up EVERYTHING. The multiple attachment are an added bonus. I utilized all of them while cleaning my car, and was very impressed with it’s ability to clean in all of the hard to reach places under the seats.

I have not had this vacuum long, so I cannot attest to the long-term durability of it, but fingers crossed it continues performing as well as it has so far. If you need a vacuum that does what it actually is supposed to do, this is the one to purchase!.

My wife wanted a miniature shop vac and found this one online. She read reviews and did her research. She liked what she read and bought one. She absolutely loves it. It is her opinion that even if you don’t think you need one, you’re wrong.

It was originally bought to vacuum our large couches, she has used it on so many things I lost count. Since it’s so portable, it gets carried from room to room to suction dust various areas and vacuum behind areas that are hard to reach.

My wife states that it is the perfect size for so many cleaning projects that my full size shop vac is “too big and bulky to drag around. ” She’s 100% satisfied.

My old Ridgid packed it after 20 or so years. This new one was on a price reduction on the website from $149. 00 to $109. 00, and as there was more than 25 in stock, off I went to the store. This one is smaller than my old one, but I had always thought my old one too big.

Assembly was easy. A number 2 Philips is all you need. Put it together and then thought, I should have seen if it works first. But, it is together now, plugged it in, and it is way quieter than my old one.

The first task was emptying a wet sump in the shop, where the sump pump had failed. I replaced the paper filter with the wet 7500 one, and it was a baptism by fire. The instructions say that when the canister is full, it will have a sound pitch change.

As advertised. The first 12 gallons went outside off the side of the drive. Easy with that big lug nut on the bottom. The next 12 gallons just as easy. Then the bottom of the sump, with the accumulated debris from the tractor and truck.

Melted snow, road crap, you know. This little machine worked like an absolute charm.

Great suction and love the filter and bags option. Not too shriekingly loud either. I got the extra long hose for it so that I didn’t need to move the unit around so much and no loss of suction at all.

Very happy with my purchase and I highly recomend it. I use it for my work/activity room which includes a planting bench with soil and lots of bits of prunings of my lavender starts. And, of course, all the treasures the dogs and cats drag in.

It does a great job and my allergies are not activated so the filter is decent. Delivered to home by Home Depot quickly, too.

This Vacuum is an amazing value. I went into looking to spend a few hundred on a vacuum for the garage, but the guy in the tool section said that this one had been flying off the shelf and people are really happy with it.

Thinking, oh well. if it fails, it’s $100. But, wow. it’s really good. Would recommend for sure.

Nope won’t be winning any accolades for being the most powerful. For me personally though the unit’s versatility and convenience help balance it out so for the tasks I wish to accomplish with it should suffice perfectly fine.

Yes went through countless reviews seeing commonalities such as the elusive circuit board failure. Here’s hoping, after 7+ years since DCV581H initial release, Dewalt has addressed such issues to instill a better level of reliability.

I bought the first unit a month ago. After using that one for just one day, it started to shutoff as soon as I turn it on, then stopped turning on all together. I returned the item through Amazon and they sent me a replacement unit.

Same issue with the second unit. Very disappointing as I’ve wasted a lot of valuable time giving this vac shop a chance. I wish I read previous comments before wasting my time as it looks like this is a common issue.

Very disappointing that Delwatt still has these units out there with a major design flaw.

I really love this vacuum for its portability. It is cleaver how they designed the attachments to fit and form into the housing. The crevice tool fits into the handle and the wide nozzle extension accessory is molded into the body.

The added feature is that it has the electric (cord connected) or battery powered option. I can use the vacuum in my vehicles in battery mode truck or in my house cleaning the baseboards. Thanks DeWalt, you really hit a home run with the DEWALT 20V MAX, Wet/Dry Vacuum (DCV581H).

We have been using Roborock products in our house for a few years now, most notably its robot vacuum cleaners, which we cannot live without. When we learned that Roborock had a new product, a wet and dry vacuum cleaner, our curiosity was piqued.

Like most people, we hate mopping and sweeping. We have two young kids, and it can feel like you’re continuously picking up after them, throwing a dog into the mix, and having three kids. The first time we used the Dyad, we were blown away.

It has two separate tanks (one for clean water, another for dirty water). Parts of the floor that appeared to be clean were anything but. After first use, the colour of the dirty water looked like something from a dirty river; it was atrocious.

Perhaps the most impressive thing is the rollers clean themselves as you use them. The cleaner cleans itself while cleaning (say that fast three times). There are three rollers underneath, and even after going through some filthy dropped sauces and food, the rollers looked clean (I don’t get it).

The Dyad has taken a 20+ minute job down to 5 minutes. The battery life is respectable, enough to clean a modest-sized home. Remember when using it, it will only clean properly in a forward pass. Going backwards will cause water droplets to be left.

Some downsides are preventing this device from getting five stars: It can be painful to clean. The dirty water tank sometimes can be as simple as emptying the little basket, which traps larger bits that get picked off the floor.

Sometimes, you’ll have to thoroughly clean out the pull-out plastic piece from the tank and scrub it as dirt builds up on the tank and the grey pull-out plastic. It’s not that big of a deal, but it’s good to clean the dirty water tank often.

The cleaning head housing the rollers is flawed. If you have pets that shed or your house has grass or anything else similar on the floor, the head can get clogged quickly. It’s pretty painful to clean out the head.

You remove the rollers, which are easy to clean, but the head itself, not so much. You’ll find grass and hair accumulates here quite quickly. I use a paper towel and a brush to clean this all out, but it’s quite gross what gets trapped here.

Overall it’s good for the price. It does a good cleaning job, but the maintenance aspect of cleaning the head alone knocks this down in the star rating.

–UPDATE 1 (15/09/2022)– (THE REPAIR) –UPDATE 2 (03/10/2022)– (THE REPAIR PART 2: REVENGE OF THE REPAIR) TL;DR: I’ve had my dyad for 4 months and all of the metal parts I can see on the exterior are rusting (including the charging contacts).

I dread to think of the state of the internals. Roborock have said this isn’t an issue – which is obviously not accurate. They offered to “repair” it, but only if there is no water damage. How is it possible that a device like this will not have been in contact with water? I purchased my Dyad on 22/04/2022 from the offical Roborock Australia website.

Initially, the product was excellent and I couldn’t believe no one had through of this design or approach before. After about 90 days of weekly / bi-weekly usage, I noticed the screws below the clean water tank (the one up top) were rusting.

See image 1. I contacted Roborock about this and their response was: “I just consulted the seniors with the provided picture. The current state of the screws will not affect the normal use of the machine, pls don’t worry.

Pls don’t use the third-party cleaner solution in the future in case of deepening the corrosion. ” I wasn’t happy with this response (especially since I had not used any third-party cleaners), because as we all know, rusting is a process that will continue until eventually the metal part is corroded to the extent that it won’t function.

It was during this correspondence that I noticed that all of the other exposed metal parts were also rusting. This includes the screws in the dirty water tank (image 2), the small clip which holds the front roller in place during use (image 3), and even the charging contacts on the dock (image 4).

This last one is actually stopping it from charging. It is also giving me Error 3 (water tank empty) randomly when the tank is full. I’ve sent this information to Roborock, who are about to send me a return shipping label so that they can inspect the device.

They’ve cautioned me that if there is liquid damage, then it is not covered by warranty. Now, this last point is ludicrous. Here, we have a product which advertises that it INHERENTLY deals with liquids.

It contains not 1, but 2 water tanks, and advertises its ability to clean wet and dry messes. We have metal parts, which BY THE VERY DESIGN of the product will come into contact with water. How is it possible that warranty can be denied? I will update here as I go through this process with Roborock.

One other thought as to the product as a concept: It bills itself as being self cleaning, and mostly, this is accurate. However, in reality, you would only use this product once or twice per week. In that time, mildew and bacteria have built up on the rollers.

So yes, it does self-clean after you’ve finished cleaning, but since it doesn’t dry the rollers, what’s the point? If you wait a week then clean again without taking them off and cleaning / drying them yourself, your whole house smells like mildew.

It needs a drying function. –UPDATE 1 (15/09/2022)– (THE REPAIR) The device is on its way back to me from NSW, Australia, and I expect to receive it early next week (end-to-end, the total repair time will be around 3 weeks).

It’s worth noting that the repairs are carries out by a service provider in Technocity (http://www. technocity. com. au/shops. html). The repairer was excellent, so I dealt directly with them. I requested for photos of the inside of the unit (photos 5 and 6 below).

You can see there is internal corrosion. They’ve advised me that they’ve replaced all the rusted parts, however no one has been able to answer my question: “won’t it just rust again?” I’m hoping the screws (at the very least) have been replaced with galvanised or stainless steel ones.

Join me soon for my (re)unboxing! –UPDATE 2 (03/10/2022)– (THE REPAIR PART 2: REVENGE OF THE REPAIR) I received the allegedly-repaired Dyad back on 19/09. Upon first use, it started to make a thumping noise, then a grinding noise, then the front roller stopped working.

Something has gone wrong with the repair. I emailed Roborock, who then advised me it’s the wrong department. Then I emailed (they don’t have a phone number) the Roborock AU store. They said they were happy to repair it again, however I’m not going through that twice.

After a couple of escalations, they’ve agreed to replace it for me. That was 21/09. I followed up on 27/09, and they’ve indicated I need to ship it to the repairer to confirm it is indeed broken (despite my comprehensive video evidence.

) I’ve now followed up again today to get the return shipping label. Suffice to say I’m not happy, but let’s keep going!.

Cleans up my kids food mess easily. I don’t need to bend my back and pick up all their food anymore. Yes machine is a bit heavy, but surprisingly easy to manouver. I have chronic back pain, so I was concerned abt this issue before getting the vacuum.

After using it, I wish I had this when my child was a toddler!! If u have children and badback and most of the flooring in ur house are not carpeted, I will recommend this one. The best thing abt this vacuum apart frm that, it cleans the laminate and hard flooring well (without needing to vacum first).

It cleans better on smooth tiles compare to texture tiles. My living and kitchen are texture tiles, nevertheless the floor still feels clean. Doesnt clean the grout, but normal mop also doesnt clean grout.

I use it to clean all the flooring in the house including in the bathroom. I like that it cleans the roller as u use it. So the rollers stay clean and no stain. After use, just press self clean (quite noisy but only for 2 mins).

Then u just empty then dirty tank. Give the tank and filter a rinse. They give 2 filter. So i can put the tank back together with the2nd filter, whilst the other filter that I used previously getting dried.

Just make sure u always use the self cleaning after use, otherwise u get weird smell. I mopped some yogurt and didnt self clean and the next day it smelled. So I self clean the machine and took the rollers off and washed with dishwashing liquid.

Smell gone. Also i get lazy sometimes and dont always empty the dirty tank. I get away with it, but the dirty tank does get full, so far I empty it once a day and night. This is not the manufacture’s recommendation.

The robot actually tells to empty the tank after the self cleaning mode. Once a week, I give proper clean like taking the roller off, clean off the dirt and hair, but i was easy. The brush to clean is so handy! Took the hair off roller easily and also brush the inside of the pipe thing (sorry dont know how to describe).

I had a robot vacum before and that was a pain to clean especially with the hair. The roborock dyad was surprisingly easy to clean. I use bissell floor cleaning solution for the clean water tank. U dont have to, but I like the idea of cleaning the roller with soapy water not just water.

It’s abt $15/bottle from Goodguys. If u r time poor and like to have the house clean, this is the way to go. This will save ur energy, time and back. Down side doesnt go underneath furniture, doesnt bother me too much.

I can use my other vacum.

Great to be able to use 581H vacuum on either 110VAC or 20V battery. Need to keep filter clean to maintain maximum suction. I used it first on cool ashes in fireplace, after burning a non-wood fireplace log.

Ash was consistency of drywall dust, and HEPA filter did its job of preventing blow-out through the exhaust opening. But the filter clogged quickly, and then the vacuum lost its suction. This is the exact same situation that occurs when I use my regular, full-size shop vac.

For regular vacuum clean-up jobs — not the superfine “dust” jobs — this vacuum does the job well. Noticed no difference in power between either AC or battery operation. The portability, especially when using a battery, makes this a great tool to have.

just keep the filter clean!.

This is my 3rd Fein vacuum. When my 10-year-old Turbo II stopped working, I called Fein and was told the parts for my vacuum are no longer available. I have several attachments from my previous vacuum, but was told they wouldn’t fit on the new models.

The Fein representative suggested I buy the attachment package when I buy a new vacuum. So I spent the extra money and guess what? The old attachments work fine on the Fein! (Floor nozzle, brushes, crescent tool).

In fact my old floor nozzle is better than the new one). So now I have several attachments I don’t need. I really do like Fein vacuums, but it upsets me that they don’t carry parts for older models. It also upsets me that they told me I would need new attachments when the old attachments would have worked.

The vacuum works just like the old, but I now have to use bags, which I didn’t have to use on my old vacuum. Acme Tools had the best price for this vacuum. I’ve ordered several tools from Acme, and their price is usually the best on the market.

And the Fein vacuum is still cheaper than the Festool.

I bought this extractor for use with my Bosch random orbital sander and a new Fein MM500 as a detail sander. It’s worked a treat. It provides lots of airflow for the wattage although only rated as an L.

The filter bags are quite expensive but work very well indeed – there’s very little fine debris making it to the filter. The power take off works brilliantly but, and this is my only criticism of the Dustex, is that the hold time after the tool is turned off is a bit long.

The tools work as expected but I prefer to keep the rubber dust extraction nozzle on the end of the hose because changing it to the tool adapter is a bit fiddly.

I simply purchased this product after very little review from an east coast boat building group. I was wanting an orbital sander and a complimentary vacuume to keep dust levels at a minimum. Sanding epoxy away from a wooden kayak was a chore prior to this purchase.

I coupled a fesstool 150 with this vac. And, i do not regret the marriage! Myne either. Although a small bit of sanding dust will enter my nostril area, i think this a fair trade off with the ability to see what the surface is like as i pass the orbital about.

I am happy with this unit and the noise is completely at a low decibal. The purchase was intuitive with little concern for mass review and research. That’s how i purchase anyway. This seems to work for me.

It would be 5 star if it had one hose end that fit power tools for dust collection and the accessories fit to that end. Fits great on the packout, decent run time with larger batteries and works with smaller ones when needed.

Hi and low power selection is great to extend the run time. Large handle is nice, cleaning it out is quick and easy and not needing to remove the hose to store away is convenient Good for dust collection on my jobsite mitre and table saw, however, the hose attachments and storage for these attachments were poorly designed along with the dust ports on certain Milwaukee power tools.

I have to get adapters to fit to the Milwaukee table and mitre saw, You would think they could set standard diameters for their own tools. There are two hose ends that reverse thread on the hose. One is for the the included accessory attachments and the other is to attach to power tools.

You have to unthread the ends to switch from dust collection to clean up with the attachments which is a bit of a pain because neither of the two hose ends don’t fit in the storage area of the vacuum so I have to go digging in my toolbox to retrieve the other hose end to switch tasks with the vacuum which is not convenient for quick work.

I usually just use the power tool attachment to clean with which isn’t ideal. Good vacuum, I would purchase again but the Milwaukee engineers need to consider compatibility with their other products and the storage area better.

This is an amazing vacuum, lots of suction, highly portable for job sites. I have recommended this vacuum to many friends and co-workers. The two speed I find is nice for helping make a 5. 0 ah battery last a bit longer if you dont require the high suction for some smaller material pick up.

The problem Im having is that it just kinda stopped working 6 months after buying it! You can flip the switch on and then it just fires right up as normal and then triggers itself off. Kinda like it has a dead battery.

But Ive tried multiple batteries and its the same result. Took the filter off and tried to see if that made a difference and still not go. Thought the hose might have been plugged. Still no go. Same result on high or low speed.

Up until now it has been amazing. I contacted Milwaukee through their customer support online and never heard a word back. I have a very large number of milwaukee tools all have been great but worried about my warranty on all my products if I dont hear back from them over a cheap vacuum.

And by cheap, I have much much more invested in Milwaukee than I want to even think about.

I haven’t had a a problem with mine and Ive used it quite often over the last 9 months or so. Love how it attaches to Packout, makes it easy to transport. I agree with the previous reviews complaining of lack of storage for included accessories.

Seems like a small issue Milwaukee could of resolved (i. e. the vacuum storage bag recently introduced with new shop vac system). Also curious if you’ll be coming out with a hose extension or adapter to be used with the new shop vac series hoses/nozzles/etc? Which, by the way, the battery powered shop vac has got to be the new tool of the year for me.

I get sick of tangled up cords/ terrible cheap casters. Even after “upgrading” casters others, still have issues with cords and overall balance of other brands units. Once again your company solidifies my decision to switch to products years ago, slowly getting the guys at work to fall in line and get rid of any yellow and blue tools they might have and go with red!.

I could overlook everything I don’t like abt this machine if there was anywhere I could buy the filters required to use the Vac. Trust me when I say I have looked all over the internet and tried to call the manufacturer however no luck tracking any contact info not even through Walmart.

So basically it is a 1 use machine. The filter is small and no way to clean. I thought we were trying to stop being a disposable country. Well this may seem reasonably priced but since you can only use it 1 time it is really expensive and then it’s essentially garbage.

NTM its very lightweight and tips over easily that makes the top unattach so you have to turn it off and refit the top b4 you can return to what you were doing and it happened frequently. I will try to turn it into something else to avoid filling up the landfills that is unnecessary if even a different brand filter could be attached.

I have waisted enough $s trying to retro fit with no success. Buy anything but this.

This is a little powerhouse, strong enough to pull up throw rugs, and the cleaning attachment may get pulled off when you try to release it. It pulls up water in seconds. It uses only 3 amps. The box says two different horsepower ratings: 1 and 1.

75 hp. Not listed in the manual so I looked it up on another website and it’s 1. 75 hp. Either way, it’s a strong machine. Easy to clean, just unsnap, rinse and dry the tank. You must use the blue filter bag for dry, but remove it for wet.

No filter is needed for wet, but debris is often mixed into water and gets tangled around the filter cage. I got reusable foam filter sleeves for it, and they don’t cover the bottom of the cage, but do keep all the debris out.

Just rinse and wash the filter. When done, the vacuum is light enough to hang in your closet with a bungee cord. Any cons? Typical of shop vacs, it’s loud. The power cord is just about 6 ft so you need an extension.

There are clips to wrap the cord but they aren’t tight enough to hold the tools well, and there’s nowhere to stow the hose. The hose has swivels on both ends but is short. (Good news is standard 1. 25″ shop vac extension wands and tools fit nicely).

Last, it is lightweight and tips over easily. This vacuum is good for small cleaning jobs, but since it doesn’t have wheels, it would be tiresome for cleaning large rooms. I’m glad to have it for emergency spill cleanups.

oK BUT NOT GREAT,HOSE IS TOO SHORT ONLY ABOUT 3 FEET,HAS A LATCH ON EACH SIDE THAT MUST BE MOVED OUT TO EMPTY THEY CAN BE DIFFICULT TO OPPERATE IN SEQUINCE TO OPEN! AND IN CLOSEING ITS THE SAME PROBLEM THEY MUST LINE UP EXACTLY TO SECURELY CLOSE AND LATCH ,SHOULD BE GUIDE PINS OR BE ELONGATED DESIGN ?SO MAKE SURE BOTH LATCHES ARE LINED UP AND SECURE OR THE BOTTOM FALLS OFF AND ALL THE DEBRIS OR LIQUID GOES EVERYWHERE!!!! HAD A STINGER VAC ITS BETTER DESIGN ,BUT MOTOR BURNED UP AFTER 8 YEARS?.
