I actually ordered four to replace my Epic brush in gold. The gold brush has been through years of use and I absolutely have loved it. However everything needs replaced eventually. It was the lint that couldnt be removed off of the coated tips that I felt the need.

The wide tooth comb seemed to pull out way more hair – the inside edges are too blunt/sharp (not rounded enough) so for anyone with naturally curly hair (not to mention baby fine like mine) it was catching and pulling.
I will definitely continue to sue the shampoos and conditioners – I purchased 2 of the different shampoos and the 2 conditioners – tried the clarifying shampoo in the samples, but really don’t need it so I am sticking with the rice for strengthening and the others for moisture and hydration.

) This brush is absolutely NOT FOR THICK HAIR. What makes their other brushes so great is how flexible the bristles are, which makes detangling your hair so easy and painless. But for some reason they decided to make the bristles on a brush specifically for thick hair not flexible at all.
In my opinion (take it or leave it) the best possible brush for thicker hair would’ve been one with longer bristles to actually be able to get through my large amount of hair and also with flexible bristles so it can actually be painless and easy like their other brushes.
I’m so disappointed in this brush I had to return it and I ended up getting their Pro Flex Dry Paddle Brush instead.
This brush does have firmer bristles than the original and the pro version, so if you like flexible bristles, this is not the brush for you. However, if you have thick hair and keep distorting the bristles on other brushes like I do, this is the perfect brush for you.
I have thick curly hair and when wet it feels like a wet pair of jeans on my head and it also feels impenetrable, I always destroy the bristles on my brushes bc of that. This brush gets right through and I can spread my conditioners and detangle easily.
It is not good for styling/curl definition but that was not what it was intended for so I still give it 5 stars.

Love this brush, this is my second wet brush Pro Thick Hair, as my first recently retired. I have super thick mid length hair and I use my brush every morning after my shower. It glides through my wet hair ( and dry) without an issue.

Love this brush. I have always been a fan of the Wet brushes. I’ve tried many types and shapes over the last 10 years (from plastic to natural bristles) and I think this rectangular shape and curve is my favorite.
