Waterproof pull on work boots are a type of footwear that is designed to be impervious to water. They are typically made from a waterproof material such as rubber or synthetic leather, and have a seal or gusset around the ankle to prevent water from seeping in.
Waterproof work boots are an essential piece of equipment for workers who are exposed to wet conditions, such as construction workers, roofers, and landscapers. They help to keep feet dry and comfortable, and prevent slips and falls.

I bought these boot 4 month’s ago. Having always had 6” lace-up work boots I was skeptical but wanted to give these a try. I usually wear a size 11, which is what I ordered without trying these on 1st.
Initially, when I tried them on I was very concerned. They were extremely tight fitting on the top of my foot, to the point where I almost gave up on them. When I say tight on the top, I mean really tight, although I could still wiggle my toes.
I tried thinner socks, which helped the top of my foot pain, but this made my heal slip a little. I then added an arch support in-sole underneath the stock in-sole which seemed to help the heal-slip.
After about 3-4 weeks the top of my foot started to feel better as the boots began to get broken in and the leather loosened up a bit. I then was able to go back to a thicker sock, which is what I prefer.
One thing worth noting about my experience is the top of foot pain was more pronounced when sitting, when there was hardly any weight on the amply cushioned stock in-sole. I usually spend about 1/2 my day sitting and 1/2 in the field so that probably prolonged the break-in period a bit.
Now that I’m 4-months in I couldn’t be happier with these boots, they are very comfortable. They seem durable too, the leather has been slashed by sharp objects a few times and they still stay dry in wet weather.
I do enjoy being able to slip them on in a few seconds rather then going through the whole lace-up routine, ain’t nobody got time for that! Also worth noting, I’m not sure of the cause but I never experienced any foot odor issues until wearing these boots.
It’s not outrageous or anything (I think) but is something to be aware of. Overall, a great work boot I would recommend to others, just don’t get discouraged while you’re breaking them in, it will be worth it in the end.
Excellent boot. Feels extremely durable and pretty comfortable right out of the box. Just be aware that this boot has a thicker insole than my other Georgia boots. This slight bit of extra padding causes the boot to be a bit more snug than other boots of the same size.
The insole is soft and I’m sure will mold to my foot with time in the boot. Just something to be aware of.
Bought these about a month ago and I am so glad I took the chance. I have been a Magnum Hi Tec customer for years but I decided to get these and wow!!! These are the best wearing, most comfortable straight from the box boots ever! No need to break them in, I put them on and went to work, they never hurt my feet! I will definitely purchase another pair!!.

Very well made, tight in the heels as others have mentioned. I normally wear 12 and got 13W in these, and they fit well once they are on. It’s easier to jamb my foot into the tight heel than it is to pull my heel out, always a struggle.
The tops are quite wide and look a tad clownish. Great traction on rocky slopes.
Perfect work boots. Last forever. Never stink. Incredibly comfortable. By far they are the most comfortable work boots that I have ever bought. I fully plan on buying these boots for the rest of my life.

Having never bought shoes online before I was leery. Very good discrimination and I also checked out a couple of sites for boot rating. The Tue Grit model fit the bill and what I was looking for. When I actually received I was very pleased with fit and finish.

UltraDry waterproofing helps keep your feet dry in wet weather.
First let me say, I have as flat feet as flat feet can get. With that being said, the insoles take a beating but they take it well. Secondly, I’ve had these boots for two years and as expected, the heel liner has torn and am gonna get it repaired.
But that’s to be expected since I’m a heavy equipment mechanic. The outer leather over the toes is torn, cut, etc. And they are still waterproof. Don’t listen to the pepe that bash these boots just because they are part of the few that just happened to get “the lemons”.
Manufacturing is never perfect. Love these boots and will never buy any other brand. I prefer these over Ariat any day.
I’ve been at the same job for over 20 yrs, These have held up the longest, almost a year. They are very comfortable, I can wear them all day without any issues I’m an aircraft mech, I do a lot of walking on concrete, scaffolding, walking up and down stairs, bending squatting crawling over concrete, metal and skid resistant surfaces.
Toes and soles take a beating. No problems with seams. Wear on toes can show up after a couple days of work. I also use boots for hunting, fishing, all around house work. Theses boots are priced the same as competition and are made of better quality materials.
I have had these boots for 4-5 years. I wear out a pair every year. I am on my feet all day and wear the boots 12-15hrs a day 7 days a week at work. They are super great comfortable boots. They stay pretty waterproof.
Been super happy till i received my last pair. Hasn’t felt like they have broken in. Been wearing them for a few months and my feet are worn out by the end of the day. Not sure if they changed the sole but definitely unhappy with this last pair.
My review would be 4. 5 if it wasn’t for this last pair.
The Rocky Long Range Men’s 12″ Steel Toe Waterproof Pull-On Boot 6654 features The Long Range X outsole system of 10 peak performance enhancements that prioritizes your stability, safety and comfort in every step.
This 12-inch boot was built to withstand the tests of trails and time, made from Goodyear welt construction and triple-stitched for added durability. This tough western work boot sits atop a sturdy Long Range heel, which lets you tromp on tirelessly without worrying about whether or not your boot will be in one piece by the time you get home.
Don’t let another opportunity for a challenging project slip by because of your boot lacks strength. If you can do it, so should your footwear. Safety is certain in this men’s pull-on work boot. It meets both the ASTM F2413 protective toe classification and electrical hazard standard.
It’s a steel toe boot with a square toe that’s sure to have you feeling fully protected. You can focus less on risks of the trade and more on your experience while wearing this thoughtfully designed work boot.
I have worn these boots since ’13 & they do not disappoint. They handle the ever changing conditions in the patch: hot & dry to wet & muddy, diesel, oil, grease. they wear well. They break in pretty easy & the great part is they don’t stretch out like other boots do.
They are in fact waterproof & it last. they pair I’m replacing actually has a crack where the boot bends & it still keeps my feet dry.
This is the second pair of boots I’ve ever bought. Partly because they’ve lasted so long I haven’t had the opportunity to buy a new pair. And any other boot I try on pales in comparison. I can tell you the quality of these is second to none.
I work in a fabrication shop where excessive walking and using the boot surface to coax material is commonplace. About a month after getting them, I tore the heel protector while putting my foot in. Didn’t cause a problem other than making it hard to get my foot out.
The heels of the boot have finally worn down and started to come apart but the walking surface is still intact. There is virtually no wear on any surface of the leather, not even the steel toe area. I did replace the foot bed with a Dr.
Scholl’s insert. Made the boot fit like a tennis shoe. There are very few boots I can wear with short socks and these are one of them. I absolutely recommend these for anyone who wants a seriously hard working boot.
This boot is far and away the best boot I’ve come across. I’m a big guy and the square steel toe fits more comfortable than any round does for my elephant foot. Now that doesn’t come with a price. I mean to tell you that like all of the truly best boots, the break-in is one of the most miserable experiences you’ll ever have, which for me is about 3 weeks.
Keep in mind even with a 12-wide I still have to get them stretched. But after the pain, you’ll be in heaven. I sincerely hope that this boot stays is production for a long, long time. And Rocky, if you do read this, I only say the following due to the business nature of the products you sell: This boot ain’t broke, don’t go trying to fix it.
Brown Wellington with a super light carbon fiber safety toe puncture proof waterproof slip resistant rubber outsole. Flex welt construction with a bumper toe and heel for added protection. 100 metal free.
Meets or exceeds all ASTM specifications. EH rated.
This is my second pair of men’s Avenger Composite Toe WP Rugged Wellington Work Boot 7876. I wore my first pair daily and the soles lasted about 1 year before wearing down in the heel (mostly) and the red parts of the sole wore thin.
I spend a lot of my work time on concrete and asphalt so that is why the soles wore relatively quickly. Also, my original pair did not have a “Goodyear” welt (soles stitched to boot), but the new pair does.
This means you can get the soles replaced at a boot repair shop when they start to wear down. These Avenger boots are all as advertised and then some! I am Yeti-sized (6′ 4″ and 300 plus lbs. ) and these boots are always comfortable on my feet, even during 10 and 12 hour work daze.
They take a short amount of time to be broken in but fit like you were born with them as feet once they are broken in! Wellington style is much better at keeping out dirt/keeping pants clean and more convenient than laces.
These boots are 100% waterproof, but make sure you apply silicone spray and mink oil as needed or the leather will start to crack after being wet and dry repeatedly. I wear mine with an additional pair of inserts since the Avenger inserts tend to wear out quick (keep the Avenger inserts on the bottom).
I also wear wool-blend boot socks year round and these boots do not make my feet sweat too much, just enough insulation and you can wear two pairs of boot socks on those very cold winter daze. You definitely need to keep them on a boot dryer when not in use or they will begin to smell sour.
The composite toe is much better than steel since it doesn’t get too cold in the winter and it doesn’t freeze your toes. The leather is high-quality and long lasting and very rugged and mink oil will make abrasions/small cuts fade away.
The toe and heel caps are extremely tough and very hard to cut/abrade. To clean these boots, I use a stiff brush to remove all mud and then spray with boot silicone, then rub caps with a soft cloth and they shine again! Very easy to maintain and care for.
In short, these are the best heavy duty work boots I’ve ever owned and I will be purchasing these Avengers as long as possible, excellent product! They work well in the field and look just as great on your feet for a night on the town.
This is my second pair of Avenger 7876s, I love these boots. I have an extra wide foot, size 9EEEEE and it is very hard to find waterproof Wellingtons in my size. I work in the brewing industry and need boots that are both waterproof and durable.
We’re tough on boots (lots of chemical exposure, etc) and the average life span for a good boot is about 1 year, and I have had more expensive boots last only a few moths! My first pair of Avengers made it through a year and I was more than happy to reorder.
After 31 years in the industry I FINALLY have boots that fit and last as long as I expect.

Be ready for anything out on the ranch or on the jobsite with work boots from Ariat. These gritty Ariat Workhog Wide Square Toe H20 Work Boots are crafted from waterproof full-grain leather, and offer an EH-rated composite toe for the highest level of protection.
This marks my 3rd pair of Ariat boots. They’re my 3rd pair because I’m addicted to boots not because the other ones wore out. I have to say this particular pair is my favorite. They are by far the most comfortable yet they give your foot the support that’s needed to complete tasks around your property.
My feet do not fatigue after wearing these for 12 hours. The materials used in them are top notch. If your doing chores or putting in hours on the clock these boots are up for it. Heck, they look so good that I even wear them when I’m going out on the town.
Only time I wouldn’t wear these boots is if I was running frequently; if that were the case I’d look for a boot with laces. As far as the sizing goes, I typically wear a regular width 9. 5 maybe a 10 sometimes in most tennis shoes.
When it comes to Ariat boots I need to size down by a 1/2 size. A size 9 in these fit me perfectly with normal socks. If you’ve never owned a pair before I would recommend going to a retailer and trying a pair of any Ariats on first to verify the sizing.
They’re sizing is consistent from boot model to boot model. I’ve had these for three weeks now and have worn them every day. I know it’s extremely early in their life but absolutely no complaints at this time.
I love my Ariat, but for some reason this specific style required a longer break-in time than my WorkHog XT Work Boots and my Big Rig Work Boots. Both of those required almost no break-in period. With the WorkHog Work Boots unfortunately I had to wear only for a few hours then switch to other work shoes until they were fully broken in which was far more of a hassle.
For reference I walk a guaranteed 7,500-10,000 to steps a day on concrete, gravel, and climbing ladders. In general Ariat will last me a little over a year (1 year, 2 or 3 months) before the sole starts to really show wear and the liner will rip.
The Timberland Pros I used to use prior to switching to Ariat would start to have the sole separate from the shoe at about the 6 month mark, and cloth liner would wear through and absolutely ruin the foam beneath before the 1 year mark.
The Merrells before that started to have issue with the soles between 4-6 months. In my experience the Ariat work boots have been significantly more durable for only a little bit higher upfront cost.
I can honestly say that this is easily the biggest letdown on a pair of Ariat boots. I have a pair over 5 years old that are in better shape than these after 3 weeks of moderate to “light” heavy work.
I am a pest professional, so needless to say I’m not putting these through the craziest conditions by any means but after 3 weeks the soles are already falling apart. Kinda ridiculous considering the price you charge for these.
Will probably try other products after this. Ariat used to be my go to brand, now they are slipping. Good luck. One final note, I really hope the waterproof capabilities of these boots doesn’t become compromised, that will definitely answer my question on whether or not your boots are even worth buying anymore.
Timberland pros are terrible boots, having these same problems. You two should never be in the same sentence, and now your products are comparable. Thats bad.
WorkHog Waterproof Composite Toe Work BootAll-conditions Workhog with Western flair. Waterproof Pro shuts out the wet and snow. Ariat’s ATS Max platform provides maximum torsional stability for reduction of foot fatigue and proper body alignment.
The sole pairs a lightweight, cushioning EVA midsole with Ariat’s highly abrasion-resistant oil- and slip-resisting Duratread outsole for the ideal combination of comfort and durability. Features Ariat’s unique, patent-pending U-Turn Entry System, allowing easy entry with a true fit regardless of foot shape.
I have a pair of slip on boots with the workhog sole and love them. Needed a new boot for work, so I went with the lace up composite toe for better ankle support. My day changes from running a chainsaw, working on a hydro dam, to climbing wind turbines.
So far so good, they handle everything I’m expecting them to and I am by no means easy on a pair of work boots. One thing to note is they have a little break in period but they are considerably more comfortable than the redwing loggers these replaced.
I had to return the first pair for half a size smaller which was easy and quick. They are reasonably cheap, so I will buy these again if they last a year.
Great boots, good support, very sturdy, long lasting. True to size. Waterproof lining works, but my goodness these puppies smell! After some use in warm weather and doing some sweating, these things stink! Keep them out on the porch when I get home! They’ll smell up your closet for sure! Also they hold on to moisture and take quite awhile to dry from the inside as the lining really does not breathe well.
Overall an ok boot if you can deal with the smell!.
My first pair of cowboy boots. I’d say try on different styles if you can. I decided to buy these online, and didn’t realize the narrow toe. I had been test fitting the different styles in the store with the wider flatter toe.
I have a wide foot, and order a wide size; however, my foot was in some pain the first day. I adjusted to them after a few days, but it still bothers me. I also treated them with waterproofing beeswax compound and they keep my feet perfectly dry.
Ariat’s Turbo is a Composite Carbon toe waterproof boot that comes along with the Ariat comfort you’ve come to know. Carbon toe safety is lighter weight than a regular composite toe, and has a sleeker, sharp looking profile.
Waterproof Pro technology from Ariat keeps feet dryer and more comfortable. EH-rated.
I work in the dairy industry and live in California and I was looking for a nice slip on work boot that came with a composite toe and these boots did the trick. There is a slight break in period mostly with the heels but I combated that with Band-Aids on the back of my heels at first especially on days that I knew I’d be wearing them for 10+ hours.
I went with the seven wide in women’s due to the fact that the length of my foot is 9 inches long or 23 cm long. In most shoes I am a seven in women’s and in most western boots I’m a 6 1/2 like the ariat anthems.
In the rare occasion that the shoes are slightly made differently and are a little on the bigger side I’ll get a 6 1/2. I’m glad I went with the seven wide for these due to the composite toe. This gives me a little more freedom in the toolbox with the extra width and length of the boot.
I also figured that since my feet swell in the summer months in California that it was best to get the size 7 to account for the swelling. With the removable insoles these boots I predict could last me a very long time with proper care.
I bought these boots about two months ago and I have conditioned and polished them twice now. In fact I just did a conditioning and polish on them today. See photo. These boots are super comfy especially coming from a person that has severe plantar fasciitis in both feet and has to wear orthopedic custom insoles.
Thank you Ariat for putting out a quality boot and I look forward to continuing to buy from Ariat in the future. Overall this is my tenth plus pair of Ariat boots but first Chelsea boot purchase and I’m very satisfied with them.
I bought these puts about two months ago. I wanted to get a good pair of durable women’s work boots because I work for a Coop/grain elevator. With dealing with grain, chemicals, and everything in between, I needed a good boot on my feet to get me through my long days.
When looking at buying these boots I based my size off of the size of my tennis shoes and I am glad that I did. I purchased a size 8B which fit my feet perfectly. If you have any reserves about ordering because you are not sure your size, actually measure your feet to find the correct size for you.
Do not guess. They are super comfortable to wear everyday and I am on my feet for 10-12 hours each day, if not longer. If you are looking for an amazing outdoor work boot this would be the pair to go with.
I don’t know why I waited so long to try the Ariat work boots because I love their regular boots. I’ve been in the trades for 25 years. I’ve tried every expensive boot there is and some a few times just because of the name.
I walk up and down stairs, squat and climb ladders and stomp around on solid concrete slabs all day (I’m a cabinet installer) and this boot is absolutely AMAZING! I don’t have the foot, heel, ankle, shin pains I used to at all.
It feels like walking on clouds all day. I hope like hell they don’t quit making this boot. I want to buy another pair just to have a back up. I’m just not blowing smoke up ya’lls tail either. You’ll never find this boot on a Google search for “best wood boot”, but by God this is the best boot I’ve ever worn.

This stitch reinforces construction and extends the wear time of these boots. A lightweight and durable dual-density rubber outsole also is oil, heat and slip-resisting. Inside the boot is a fabric lining containing a waterproof membrane that makes the interior comfortable and keeps feet dry.
Meeting ASTM standards for impact and compression is a steel toe cap that helps protect toes from dropped objects and rollover. And this boot also is electrical hazard resisting. Feet rest upon a removable, breathable and washable orthotic footbed, which also is comfortable.

Bought these as a Christmas gift to self. Wore them to work in the oilfield day after Christmas. Early January 2022 was on a job in the rain feeling warm n toasty until my left heel began to feel wet, sure enough the boot was leaking.
I was honestly loving these boots in spite of the leak, rather rapidly the inner left heel began to cant downward making the left boot a nuisance and uncomfortable also throwing my 61 year old body out of alignment.
I’ve been wearing work boots singe age 14, 47 years and have never had this kind of failure with a pair of work boots. This is the very 1st pair of Dan Post boots I’ve ever owned, been wearing Western style boots since before I can remember.
My backup pair of another brand name are back to work while waiting for the new boots ordered a few days ago. Not seeing the option to post photos so people can see how the inside of the left has collapsed or something the whole boot is titled.
I’m ordering my husbands 4th pair of DP69402’s today! He loves them! He’s 67 y/o, very active, 6’ 2” & 248 lbs. He wears an 11EE in this particular style and sometimes 12EE, in other brands and styles, such as Danner military boots, used for hunting.
His lifestyle and job require waterproof footwear. Just the morning dew on the grass will wet your socks otherwise. And even though he wears the soles of these boots down, mainly the left heel, they all have remained waterproof.
Our experience with the 3 pair so far, has not been that the boots run small or large and we’ve never had an issue with the “waterproofing not lasting. ” They look good, feel good and support well! Thank you Dan Post for these boots.
that we stumbled across while visiting your store in my home town of El Paso Texas!!.
I ordered the Journeyman with hesitation. Upon arrival the boots looked okay but were sized small. I decided to give them to my son and order a half size larger but in the hurricane. They arrived and I have tried them only to find they feel like I’m wearing the box on my feet.
I’m not easy on boots and I do not mind paying more for American made. Guess I should have paid more. P. S. Guys why have a 60 day guarantee if I can’t even wear them outside? You aren’t selling bedroom slippers!.

I’ve had these boots for about a month now. They are comfortable right out of box, wore them to work day after I got them. No breaking period, I’m on my feet 12+ hours a day, feet stayed dry because it’s rained just about every other day.
For the price I got them for I wish I’d gotten 2 pairs.

First off I love the brand! I’ve bought 3 pair of these over the past few years, but it seems as though something has changed in the upper part of these boots, I fought for 5 min to get my foot in the boot, and trying to get it back out was even worse !!! After 2 weeks fighting this the inside on the upper ripped and it took me forever to finally get my foot out.
So the torn material had to be taken out the rest of the way just to wear the boots from then on. Very disappointed in this boot especially when they are over $200 pair. I really think the R&D department needs to look at fixing this in the near future.
Love the boot but it’s not worth the fight… needless to say I spent over $200 and the boots are not wearable now, extremely disappointed. China has ruined the Georgia boot….
I go through a LOT of boots. I bought these September 2020. It is now October 2021 and the rubber is coming apart. Unfortunately they list for $100 more than they did last year. I’m here to buy another set.
I’m a field mechanic for a living, and my lower back is smoked. So comfort is key, and these Georgia’s are it.
Should be 4. 5 stars but only due to them being a little hard to get on and off. But after few times wearing they do break in. Other than that absolutely no complaints. Have worked up to 15 hours in these boots and feet felt very comfortable.
Def worth it! The insole is just so much better than any other boots I’ve worn. Only other down side I can think of is that they aren’t American made. Other than that, this boot deserves all the credit! Great buy won’t disappoint!.
Heavy-duty boots for heavy-duty work! These Timberland PRO Boondock safety boots meet CSA Grade 1 standards with composite toes and puncture-resistant plates. Tough waterproof leather keeps you dry and Thermolite insulation keeps your feet warm.
These boots have durable Vibram Fire & Ice rubber outsoles that provide excellent traction in any temperature.
Built for hard work and long days on your feet, Strongfield Leather Pull On Waterproof Composite Toe features COMFORTBASE footbed technology for shock-absorption and cushion, while the ultra-durable TOUGHFRAME stabilizes and safeguards your feet all day long.
I bought these because Red Wing Pecos are not very comfortable. I was using Red Wings King Toe that they discontinued with the BOA system because I have really WIDE feet. My pinky toe gets rubbed on so bad the nail falls off with most boots.
They are great in every way except they are very hard to pull off. I like the snugness and wide width and the leather last especially because of the protection on the heel and toe rubber. The inside liner started coming unglued and I returned these boots.
Merrell customer Service was great and no problems. Fix the liner issue and ill buy them again. Hopefully it was just my boots.
I’ve been wearing work boots for over ten years and this one is the worst I’ve ever had that didn’t cost less than $50. First off if you’re standing for moderate to long periods your feet will get sore.
Second the insert is stitched to the lining, the stitching came a part after a couple months and makes it difficult to easily slip the boot off. And third is the price; for something this expensive I would have expected it to start falling a part at least six months after I bought it, as I said above within a couple months it started.
If this boot were around $100, I’d be disappointed, but not as upset as I am now. Do yourself a favor; either find another brand for your slip-on boots, or just get laced ones.
I ordered these boots for the ease of getting them on and off without having to deal with laces. When they arrived, the foot portion is wide but the neck of the boot does not allow my foot to even put the boots on.
there is no clearance for a wide foot. The added leather re enforcement on the sides makes the opening even tighter. do not order these unless you have a wide foot with pencil legs. I am a merrell fan, just not these boots.

My background is a Automation Engineer and I work on the factory floor programming factory automation equipment and do a lot of electrical troubleshooting. I purchased these boots off of a shoe truck that visits my employer.
I have tried Rocky Boots in the past and hated them, but the IronClad looked like one of the competitors boots that I have had in the past and thought I would try them. As with another reviewer they are heavy.
However, my body has adjusted to the feel and they do not feel so heavy during the work day. But when I go home and put on my other boots I wear outside of work, you do feel a difference. That being said, I do not feel fatigued wearing them all day.
As far as break in, these were stiff for about 5 days at 10 to 12 hours a work day. They have worn in nicely and are comfortable. As far as comfort, I really can’t complain that much. The other Rock Boots I had felt extremely “hard” when walking in them.
I do not have that problem with these. One other reviewer stated they were noisy. Ok, I understand what he is talking about. On the left boot I hear a “squeak” that is similar to that of a wet shoe walking on a smooth surface.
But I also have a noticeable “click” coming from the same boot. It is not obnoxiously loud, but I do hear it and so do others when I come off the factory floor into the office. They are an above average work boot.
My confidence in Rocky has improved. I am on the fence if I would buy these again. The price point of $152 and the look of the competitor’s boot is what got me. My company puts a $100 annually to the purchase of a pair of work boots.
So at that price point of $52 in my situation they are amazing. However, with what I have experienced with these boots, I definitely will look at Rocky Boots when I go shopping for my casual boots. I used to skip the “Rocky Section” of the store.
I received these boots after almost two weeks from order date. I was excited they finally came. After opening them I immediately noticed the left shoe was defective. Where the front of the shoe meets the sole, it was all bunched up.
The leather was not smooth. Never in my life have I seen this sloppy workmanship. The toe area was wrinkled. Then I tried the boots on. The right foot was OK, but the left had a major lump where the tongue folds to keep water out.
It was like a hard mass that dug into my ankle bone. I couldn’t stand to walk several feet. This lump was not present in the right shoe. Both shoes had a very large heel area and my heel moved around worse than cowboy boots.
I was totally disappointed in these boots. And they are supposed to be made in USA. I have sent them back. They are expensive and poorly crafted. Maybe I just got a bummed pair. First time Rocky has let me down.
I bought these in November so Its only been less than 4 months now. The boots are comfortable which is one thing that every rocky boot I ever owned has in common. However, the lining inside both boots is already starting to rip and both boots are very noisy.
They make a creeking noise with every step I take. Not a normal wet boot noise either. It happens when the boot bends in a step. Not the highest quality boots I’ve owned so for the price is annoying.
My last boots were irish setters and I owned those for about 5 years and no complaints. The lining in those boots haven’t even started ripping yet.
I ordered these boots for my husband. When they came the first time, they were definitely a half size too large. We called SKECHERS after he dropped them off to be returned. A Wonderful Woman in Customer Service used his return receipt with UPS and ordered him the same 🥾, but a half size smaller, to come as soon as UPS could get them here! They need some breaking in, but he really likes them, as they are required wear, as an Engineer, at a Southern Company Plant!.

The company I work for offers us a boot allowance if we shop at certain places. I tried what I think is every boot on at that store trying to find one I like. It seems like I always go back and mentally compare the boots im trying on to the best set of boots ive ever owned which were a set of Twisted X boots when they first started getting popular.
They lasted me two years, and I wore them untill I wore a hole straight through the sole. The last set of twisted x boots I will ever buy were purchased last year. They lasted me a solid six months before there were so many holes in the leather that it wasn’t worth wearing anything on my feet compared to the boots.
The soles were entirely un stitched from mid way through the foot to the heel. I put these durangos on and they felt fairly comfortable so I thought I would give them a try. When I put them on for work later on that day I knew I had messed up bad.
They were very tight in the toes, I had to double check the size. I wore them that day and when I went to take them off I thought, well, I stopped noticing it. The next day putting them on, they were not nearly as tight.
After a week of wearing these, im hooked. They feel like im wearing sports shoes. They have great arch support, and break in nicely. The leather is miles thicker and more rugged than any pair of twisted X I could find, and it is not stretched thin over the steel toe like virtually every other brand of boot is.
This is the single most common point of failure I notice, and Durango left enough material on the set that I have to cover all the bases. The stitching looks good and very durable. I have only owned these for just over a week, but my bet is they are going to hold up alot better than the twisted X.
These things are miles more comfortable. I will update the review when im shopping for new boots in a year or so, but right now these things are just awesome. I look forward to wearing them every day.
I always go with Durango boots, they usually treat me well. These boots felt good but they are not for working. Already 5 months in and the top has holes in it. The insulation in coming inside out so I fight to get them off.
I don’t know if it’s just this boot but just pretty poor quality. Decided to take a break from Durango for a bit and got a pair of Keen work boots. Comfort level of my new ones make these look like a joke.
Again, I love Durangos just do not purchase these.
I bought these boots from a store because of the sleek look and how durable they were said to be. I’ve had them a couple months now and I pull the entire inside of the boot out every time I have to take them off after work or even if I’m putting them on outside of work.
Very unhappy and will never buy a pair of these again. I spent $200 on these and there’s already holes worn in the toes where the steel toe is. I’m on my foot all day working in the service industry so I rely on comfortable boots.
There are many factors to consider when purchasing work boots, but one of the most important is whether the boots are waterproof. Waterproof pull on work boots are a great choice for those who work in wet or muddy conditions, as they will keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long.
There are a few things to keep in mind when choosing waterproof pull on work boots, such as the type of waterproofing, the sole, and the fit. With so many options on the market, it can be difficult to know which pair of boots is right for you.
However, by considering all of the factors above, you can be sure to find the perfect pair of waterproof pull on work boots for your needs.
