I have used this filter in two homes Ive lived in. It is a simple to change filter canister. There is a pressure release valve mounted on top. (I installed a valve on either side of the filter eliminating any pressure from gravity).
I use the lubricant once in a while. I don’t over tighten. My water pressure is 45psi it should never be more than 55, most sink and toilet hardware will fail under higher pressure. I usually go 4 months between changes.
